I have been going to Sisters Vet Clinic for 2 years. During this time they have taken care of my dogs, but more specifically my Sammie girl. She was the oldest and has had health issues. This practice has done a great job taking care of her and was usually able to get her in quickly. Back in November, Sammie took a turn for the worst and I am so grateful for the recommendations and great care that they gave to her. She passed away and they sent me a card and was also able to help me get a copy of her vet picture (attached). Wasn’t she so cute? I am forever grateful for the clinic for going above and beyond in a lot of ways and checking up on her when she was here. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic.

We have used Sisters Vet Clinic in the past and have always appreciated their care and compassion. We adopted 2 kittens a few days ago and one of them was showing signs of an upper respiratory infection. They were on top of their game getting us in on a Friday with little notice. As for a Vet clinic, these folks are hands down the best in the game. The sisters, yes real ones who love dogs and yes cats too, all animals to be honest, will give your pet the best care possible. Been going to them for years now and my GSM never fights me on going in to see them. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and parking is never an issue. The building is clean and easily seen from the major intersection. Need an emergency check up on a kitten your wife found a inside her car, true story too see picture of kitten, they got you covered. Shots, check up and meds, thanks Ladies! Will we go back and continue to go back, yes. Do I mind the drive over to them, nope.

The staff and Doctors are phenomenal. They have been my pups' doctors for quite a few years. I moved an hour away and still make the trip to see them anytime my pups need to see the vet. Dallas is a Godsend and is personally invested in the positive experience during, after, and in between visits, thank you for caring about my dogs as much as I do. The other staff are great as well, and the docs are a cut above the rest . They always take the time to explain anything you have questions about and are never in a rush to get you out the door. I often recommend Sisters Vet and will continue to do so.

The staff at Sisters is the BEST. They are amazing! Very good at communicating what is going on with your pet, and the prices are fair as well. We have been going here for over a year now. I will never again take my pets to any other vet besides Sisters. They worked quickly when my dog started having seizures and had us come in minutes before closing and stayed late in order to help her. They even called the next day to ask how she was doing. Our other dog is quite anxious and they work with us to help him be more comfortable when he gets overwhelmed at the vet.

Absolutely great place! Very warm and friendly. My dog is pretty anxious and timid and the staff did great with him. They did a great job walking me through treatments and options. I also really liked that they told me the prices of things as they were explaining instead of waiting until the end to tell me or waiting for me to ask them.

I love this Vet clinic so much. The wait times and prices are more than reasonable. All the front desk staff and techs are happy and loving toward the animals. I have seen multiple vets there due to my availability and they are all so nice and knowledgeable. I know a lot of people treat their animals as their children BUT I REALLY DO lol- she is a Frenchie and our pride and joy. They meet my motherly energy in that way which is so appreciated! We have had a few scary situations with our pup and they are always so gracious with my anxious questions. Picture for attention 😜

I have been bringing my dogs here for years! Everyone that works here is so great with the animals and I know that when I need to leave town, I can board them and they will be very well taken care of! Can’t say enough positive about this clinic. The front office employees are just plain awesome. Our two dog kids are a handful and they handle everything with professionalism. We used Dr. Presser on this visit but it makes absolutely no difference which vet you use as they are all A PLUS. Awesome. Awesome awesome! The first time I went to take my approximate 10 month old Cat in he bolted from his carrier and took off into no man's land. The clinic was so kind and set out a trap and it took 15 days but they got him. A couple of weeks went by and he became ill. They were able to get me in same day and treated him immediately for fever and infection. I am ever so grateful for the awesome staff, their attention to detail and their overall care for not only the fur baby but the humans as well. Absolutely respect for both and within their staff. Highly recommend.

Quick schedule for an urgent appointment. Staff and Doctor were quick and took care of my cat. I would highly recommend a prepaid appointment to get medication for your pets. They didn't oversell anything and will tell you what you may need or what services they offer. Overall cost for eye infection was $65 prepaid and $28 meds. This is very reasonable for a pet owner.

Basically everything was quite well. when I called for an appointment yesterday I had to agree to a 68 dollar charge before setting up the appointment. I was supposed to be given credit for that but I believe that I was only given a $63 credit and unless there was some misunderstanding on my part I think I'm $5 short.. Additionally agreeing to a charge before I even go to an appointment is somewhat unsettling. I would like to see some type of a receipt indicating whether I was charged 63 or $68

Thank you so much for seeing my Princess Pepper Purrz on such short notice on the same day that I called seeking help around the holidays! I greatly appreciate it! I felt like I was doing everything that I was told not to do as far as after care when she was spayed on December 4 and I was just at a complete loss when her incision popped open 2 weeks later then got infected. It was such a relief to receive good news regarding the status of her situation and that it was healing. The instructions you provided following her spay complications were very clear and helpful. The medications provided worked very quickly for her and she is back to her normal self now. Everyone there is so nice and it's great to know that you're so close and you care! I won't ever take her anywhere else. Thank you!!!

Our two dogs have been Sister's customers for nearly three years now. Sister's always gets us in, even if it's last minute when our dogs are sick (other vets have tried to have us wait multiple days or referred us to the pricey pretty hospital for minor things). We have found their prices to be transparent and affordable, with staff letting us know when something is more expensive in advance of the service. The staff are always happy and friendly, and they follow up via phone after treating your pets to make sure they're recovered. I don't even get that kind of service from my human doctor. As long as we live in Wichita, this will be our vet.

Sisters is the best vet we have taken our dogs to, hands down. They always do their best to keep bills affordable, they treat the animals like they are their very own, and they are attentive to the needs of the critters while still being conservative and avoiding over treating animals. We have been to Heartland Animal Hospital in the past and will probably never return after experiencing what great pet care can be like at Sisters. If you need a place to board your babies, get their healthcare, or get other services like nail trims, I highly recommend Sisters. Our Rhea, Guinny, and Sammy all trot happily in and out of the office without any hesitation, excited to see the sweet vet techs and doctors.

I have been going to sisters for about 2 years now. I love them. We have multiple animals and they always try to accommodate urgent but non emergencies, and emergencies when they can. I have yet to have any bad experiences with any of the vets and I have seen them all. They go above and beyond to check in and make sure our animals are recovering properly. The one and only time we had an issue (having multiple lumps removed, but missed one) they completely apologized and scheduled that lump to be removed complementary once my dog was able. They rarely make mistakes but we’re quick to fix the problem without me asking them to. They are all so kind and loving and my pets all do really well with them. I’ll never use another vet in Wichita!

I had to go in and put my precious little friend to sleep, as soon as we got in the door, everyone was very sweet and very kind and attentive. They immediately took me back to a room where we could have some privacy and they came in and visited with me, they told me everything that was going to happen. Asked me my preferences on, what I wanted to do after it was over and told me how everything was going to go and it went exactly as they said it would. He was peaceful and out of pain as he left this life behind . I got to have as much time as I needed with him before they carried him to the car for me in his blanket. We received a Paw print plaque with his paw prints in it. They made sure that I would be able to drive home by myself, and looked after my well-being, as well as his. No one ever wants to have to do this but if you have to, they were very caring and kind. They took care of every need that I had. I was very grateful. Thank you very much!

As always we had an appointment. They were quick to greet us, acknowledged the purpose of our appointment, which was a nail trim, got her in with the woman who trimmed her nails and she was back in 10-15 minutes. While they worked on Cheyenne I bought some Bravecto paid for the nail trim and was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Their staff are always welcoming and pleasant. Our dogs have always received the best of care.

All of the doctors and staff at Herndon's have taken AMAZING care of our canine family members! Our dog Bella (Pug) has been seen by them since she was 7 weeks old. Our sweet puppy Katniss (Jack Chi) came to us as a stray. She had a badly broken leg and a nasty infection. Despite her poor prognosis (<5% chance of survival), with their help, and the help of the K-State veterinary hospital (who Herndons has kept in frequent contact with), she not only survived but is THRIVING! I called to ask about my dogs paws being red and he was chewing on them. Michelle answered the phone and she said she would check with the doctors and get back with me. She called me back about an hour later with a few suggestions. She asked me to come in the same day so a technician could do a swab test on his paws. Jamie was able to preform the test and get results very quickly. She gave me some options and sent us home with an antibiotics for my dog. She’s going to call in a couple of days to check on my dog. This is the best team of ladies! While we were in the waiting room, several technicians can over to say “HI” my dog and me too. Lol. They’re so professional and caring. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and I recommend them to anyone who has a cat or dog. They make you feel like part of a family. I won’t go anywhere else. We followed our vet from another location (Dr Faucett) and they are caring, explain what's going on and...take it to the nth level when needed. My fur baby was showing possible symptoms of ear problems. Turns out might just be allergies. I hear allergies are on the rise for our four legged kiddos. Anyone else? Anyway they suggested a over-the-counter that I could pick up to help him. I greatly appreciate the info for the over-the-counter medication instead of the shot that he could get at the vets that would be pretty expensive for a 85 lb fur baby Debbie

I had a regular vet visit scheduled to check-up on my pet after we had some stomach/gut problems last month involving a couple hospital trips. This was my first time with Sisters. I didn't feel happy with a previous vet so I wanted to establish him here. For our 8am appointment, I felt genuine concern and care for my dog from the staff. Dr. Prester did a full blood panel (after repeatedly checking in with me on the costs, which was lovely) and patiently answered my questions. By sheer coincidence, my sweet boy fell very ill after our 8am appointment. He had diarrhea and projectile vomiting. I panicked and drove him back to Sisters, in hysterics (I panic cry) and Dr. Prester I believe left her lunch break early or just returned from it and took us in without hesitation. I kept apologizing for my emotions and she didn't blink an eye. I didn't feel judged at all, and she made me feel like I wasn't alone. She was incredibly empathetic to my stress, and very calming. I also noticed she had a gentle touch with my dog, who can sometimes be reactive. My dog is much better today and I owe it to Dr. Prester's excellent instincts, heart and ability to stay calm with an emotional parent. I also loved the two vet techs I had yesterday: Courtney in the morning, and I believe Lisa was the afternoon one (if not, so sorry! That's what the invoice says) They were both enthusiastic to meet Kenji and I could tell they were really sweet, kind women. I'm grateful to this practice!

Had to put my 2 old/sick dogs down a cpl yrs apart.. They have an amazing staff with GREAT bedside manner.. They let u sit in with them during the process or just drop them off if you can't handle watching. They are affordable and they knew the mood was solemn and they respected that.. There was no laughing or joking in the office.. Which I found respectful. They offered me her ashes or a plaque with her paw print to be mailed. Great staff! They are also great at sending reminders about checkups/treatments and shots. I highly recommend Herndon's.. They cared for all 3 of my babies

When I called Sisters Herndon, a very nice lady answered the phone. I told her my pup needed his vaccines. She told me that someone had just cancelled their appt. She got us right in. They were all very friendly with my pup, & me. He was nervous, and they were great with him. They tried to make him comfortable, and offered him snacks. They didn't give up trying to win him over. I came to this vet after my old one let me down several times so I was wary of a new vet, but this place is great! Truly feel like they care about my dog and not just as much money as they can get. (As some do). They also actually helped my dog after two other vets kept just giving more and more X rays that didn't fix anything. Also didn't charge me for a regular 'exam visit' when my dog was acting sick after shots, as the old vet would charge for an exam visit every single time no matter how little the incident was or in a situation where she shouldn't have.

The Herndon Veterinary Clinic is the only place I will ever take my animals. The staff there are absolutely amazing. You can tell that they love what they do and that they truly care about you and your animals. Anytime one of our pets is sick, they always call to check on them and make sure they are getting better. We had to say goodbye to one of our dogs and they made it so much better for us. They gave us all the time that we needed, hugged us and told us how very sorry they were for our loss. A week later we received a card from them with her paw print painted in it and their condolences. The ladies there go above and beyond and we love them. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

It was my first time at the clinic. I took my pug for a dental cleaning, I was a little worried because the previous experience with dental in another clinic wasn't good, but Jammie listened to my concerns and explained all the process making me feel confident that my baby was in good hands. After the procedure I got a text with a pic of my baby in the recovery room, and when it was time to pick him up Dr Moore explaned to me all the details and even showed me pics of before and after the cleaning. I honestly can't say enough nice things about this clinic. We can to them at a time our previous vet was unavailable and our little dog was in bad shape. She had blown discs in her back and needed emergency surgery at k-state. Dr. Horn and her staff were helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They made arrangements for us to head to Manhattan to get our Izzy the help she needed. We decided to stay with Herndon and now they are stuck with us!!! They were also there for us when we had to make the hard decision to put down our other baby and the compassion they showed us was so appreciated. I was visiting my family in Wichita when my 13 year old Cocker Spaniel had what I believe was a stroke. He already had underlying health conditions and I knew time was precious with him. I've been taking my pets to Sisters(Herndon)Vet for almost ten years now and they have yet to misdiagnose my pets illnesses. The best decision I made was switching to Sisters Vet. After spending hundreds of dollars and giving my dog several antibiotic pills a day that my previous Vet at Maple and West st had hastily prescribed for a so called "Allergy Infection", I decided to take him to Sisters(Herndon)Vet at the referral of a friend. Dr. Monica Moore within an hour of walking in the door diagnosed that he infact had Demodex mange. 30 days later when I brought him back for his check up, all of his hair had started growing back and he was a happy Puppy again. Since then my whole family and several friends switched to Sisters and they too have never been happier. Ten years later my dogs tail still goes wild everytime we pull in lol. Dr. Horn, Dr. Moore and their entire staff really do make you feel like family. I'll never take my pets anywhere else.

I switched vets because my daughter began working for the Wellspring Animal Hospital. One year ago Dr. Jason performed a check up on our Shiba Inu and found a heart murmur, but wasnt concerned about the murmur and didn't want to check it any further. When I switched our animals to a new vet, Sisters Veterinary Clinic, they were concerned with the murmur and gave us the option of checking it out more thoroughly, but they weren't pushy at all. They performed an xray and found she had an enlarged heart, a collapsing trachea because of her enlarged heart along with some other conditions. We are now taking our fur baby to K-State to see what, if anything, can be done! Wellspring Animal Hospital should have given us options, and they didn't! Additionally Sister's Veterinary Clinic is much more reasonably priced and the friendliest you will find! The employee turnover rate at Wellspring/Helten is astronomical!

This clinic has done a wonderful job taking care of the medical needs of my cat (Katie) for many years, but we were also needing her belly shaved for the summer. The hair on her underside was matted, tangled, and (I'm pretty sure) just plain uncomfortable for her as well as very hot when she was outside. Although I had a difficult time giving Katie the prescribed gabapentin to keep her calm prior to the appointment, Jeralin knew how to handle my feisty baby, anyway, and did a beautiful job trimming her hair! After I picked Katie up and held her when we got home, she purred VERY loudly. I could tell she felt so much better and cooler with her hair all smooth and trimmed! 😊

My dog needed to be put down. She was almost 18 years old. I am pretty sure she had cancer. If you are reading this review, that tells me you are an animal lover. I do not need to go in to deep what my baby means to me, you already understand. I did not want to take my dog to her normal vet because she knows the place. She had a skin condition that caused her to produce a lot of yeast on her skin. We spent a lot of money for years giving her a quality of life that we felt she deserved. She was required to visit the vet office so much, I that knew she would be upset when she saw the place. We were looking for some place to take her that she did not know. I selected Herndon Vet because of the reviews and the place looks like a home. I just didnt want my dog to be scared. When I called to make an appointment, the girl that answered the phone was very nice and understanding. I was doing good at first, but then lost it on the phone. She didnt make me feel bad for being upset. She was very kind. I dont know what the experience was like with the office visit because I couldnt go, my husband took her. I can say when he returned he was obviously just as upset as i was but had a sense that he felt good about what happened. He tried to tell me what happened, but I wasnt ready to hear it..I couldnt stop crying. We agreed to talk about it another day. Here is the cherry on top. When we were about to go to bed, my husband said, "I know we agreed to not talk about it but I do have to tell you one thing." He wanted to tell me that the vet office offered to do something with her paw (free of charge) and send it to us at a later date. He wanted to preapre me so I didnt get it in the mail and was sideswipped. I about went to the ground sobbing because that touched my heart so much. I could not even tell my husband why I was crying. He kept aplogizing thinking he made the wrong decision by having it done. I texted him at work today to tell him that he will never know the gift he gave me with that paw print and that he made the perfect decision. He said that he was reflecting on everything and thought the clinic really gets it..he said, " I mean they really really get it". They helped us get through a very rough time in our lives. We did not want to say good-bye to our baby, but we knew it was the right thing to do. If you are looking for a place that ovusouly loves animals like we all do....dont look any further...this is your place. I just wished we would have found them sooner. Thank you to all the staff that helped us. Yes..I am crying writing this review :) You guys made us feel a little better in the process of having to say good-bye. I look forward to her paw print and will cherish it. That is such a classy touch to an awful service that you guys have to provide. Thank you again!

My dog is scared of most humans so vet visits have always been a bit of a pain. However, while she was skiddish at first, by the end of the visit to Sisters Herndon vet clinic, she loved the staff and even jumped on the tech and gave her a big hug. My dog doesn't warm up to people that fast usually, so this was a big deal for both of us. Not only were the staff there extremely friendly and knowledgeable, they were transparent about everything up front, including the prices of things my dog needs done. We will be returning to their office.

I really love Sisters Veterinary Clinic! They are always so friendly when I call or bring my dog in for his visits. They are very knowledgeable, and never try to swindle more money out of me by only offering high-end products or meds; they are very respectful of my budget. They also helped my husband and I receive reimbursement for our dog’s hospital visit when he got Parvo as a puppy, because they have a close relationship with the vaccine company who made the Parvo vaccine that our dog received before getting sick. They did all of the communicating with the vaccine company, and we were paid back in full for his urgent care visit and hospital stay! I really can’t say enough good things about Sisters. So glad I found them!
