I just recently went here with all 3 of my pups. I have an older one about 1 and a half and they were amazing with him and very understanding about him being excited. The vets were super nice and thoughtful as well as the techs. They did super good with my older pup and younger pups! They were very quick to get me in the day off and were very informative and gave out packets for puppies and all the info we would need and a list of what shots were needed and when. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you guys!

My kitten was very sick. My vet is way out town. I had too my other cat to get fixed and they were awesome. When I called they cared and got her in the same day. Even tho they was really busy. If it wasn't for them seeing her that day I don't think she would have been with us today. Awesome small vet that don't rush or hurry you. They want to help your pet and you! Awesome vet!

If you need an affordable vet, I love them. I’ve been seeing them for 2 years & they’re always so kind. Their treatments are sooo much more affordable than most & you can trust them to be comforting to your babies if you need an overnight stay. We had to find another veterinary, when Dr. White had to retire last December 23 of 2022. They were able to see my 16 years old cat and get her better in only 5 days. I'm grateful that they love animals as much as their owners

I purchased a puppy from Petland on Maize Rd in October 2022. My puppy was in need of his rabies shot. I was asked to bring in his shot records. The veterinarian here would not honor his shot records 😤 . Nevertheless, my puppy did receive his rabies shot. Service was good just a little disappointed that they would not honor his shot records which are covered by Companion animal hospital by S. Byers.

I've only visited here once yet I've thought of bringing a pet here often over the years but have been misled by others into thinking this vet clinic is not a good place to bring your pet. Those people are very wrong! I'm here to say that Pet Haven is as good a vet clinic as any other. They are friendly and the wait time is minimal as it seemed like there were lots of employees working. People were checking out and checking in with ease. Reasonable prices for typical things like vaccinations and checkups. Brought a cat here for a rabies shot. I usually go to The Cat Hospital because it's much quieter there (no barking dogs) but it is also much further to drive and Pet Haven is so much more closer. Pet Haven was quiet too actually, no barking dogs even though there were dogs there. I have two other cats overdue for check ups. I'm thinking about bringing them here too. I've also purchased flea control online through them and it was so easy. I never left the house and the medicine arrived three days later in my mailbox. I don't know, I'm just very satisfied and wish I had visited here much more sooner. Give Pet Haven Veterinary Clinic a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Poor customer service. Signage posted tells customers to wait outside, but As a black man, I was upset that I wasn’t greeted the same way I saw a middle aged white customer greeted. Moments after my arrival. Instead I waited outside in the cold for 15 minutes before just walking in so my pet could receive shots. Front desk workers made zero to no effort to accommodate. Other than the poor initial contact, and mediocre customer service from front desk workers, service was quick and the doctor did great with my pet.

We love, love, love Pet Haven! They are very professional and most important, very caring. I cannot begin to explain how wonderful they were when the time came to let go of my 13 yr old Lab. They were so caring and compassionate. They even had a tree planted in Hershey's memory. That shows the above and beyond of a group of people. My dogs are calm and actually enjoy going there! Addendum- Was just reading prior reviews...Did you guys get a new receptionist? Several reviews over last couple months are not favorable and not typical for you. Might want to review what is going on....

Very helpful with my fur puppy I got from Petland. Please don’t ever purchase from Pet land, they sell sick puppies with Warrenty of a Vet they partnered with and never contacts you back. However Pet Haven was able to get me in and took care of the puppy. Amazing services !

I have always loved their service. I feel they always put your animal first when taking care of them, which they should. Friendly and easy to work with staff is amazing! I didn't give a 5 due to it not super exceeding my expectations of a vet clinic. It's like all the others. Their pricing is fairly cheap, but you can find some things cheaper else where. Give them a try I have brought my pets here and will continue to.

Pet Haven Veterinary Clinic is the best! We have been taking our dogs to them for years and have never been dissatisfied with any service from any staff member. We are always able to get an appointment whether it is for routine care like a nail trim or something more serious. The doctor's are very loving with our dogs, yet they spend time explaining treatment or answering any of our questions. Their fees are very reasonable when compared with family or friends for similar services!

we took our puppy ( a golden retriever) to be neutered. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The veterinarian did an excellent job and our dog recovered very quickly from surgery. There was very little hair removed so it is almost unnoticeable. My dog came back very happy and was not stressed at all. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic. There prices are very reasonable as well.

The shots are cheaper here. Very very smelly place seems it could be better. Haven't been here in a few years but took my newest cat after adopting her from lady who used Pet Haven. No problems except for the smell.

I've brought my cat to Pet Have since he was seven weeks old and he's nine years old now. They've been there for him from kittenhood and now into senior status. I've always been satisfied with their care and their prices are reasonable. I've sent friends to them before and heard good things back, so they're consistent. We took our cat in on a Saturday morning when our usual vet didn't have office hours and the problem might have been too serious to wait for a Monday. The staff graciously worked us in, even though we weren't established clients there, and were able to diagnose and treat our cat quickly. Dr. Menze was great, loved her bedside manner. Prices were reasonable, too. Would recommend this clinic to other "pet parents."

I have always been treated very well and so have my pets. They are very compassionate about the animals they serve. The wait time is usually minimal and the costs are fair. I will use them as long as I own pets. On 8-1-17 I had to have my 12 year old feline euthanized. All the staff was so kind and they were very compassionate. I was able to take my girl's remains home with me so I could bury her. Pet Haven has cared for my animals for 20 years.

First time visitor. Was very happy they were able to get my cat in with 24 hrs of me calling. Dr. Campbell was very personable and professional. Only giving 3 stars because front desk staff was not exactly pleasant, failed to explain their COVID protocol, which apparently required I stay in my car and wait while they examine her. As such, I went home until they called saying she was ready and immediately returned. They proceeded to scold me for leaving and, after I explained that I was never instructed to stay in the parking lot, they offered no apology and continued lecturing me about leaving. Their front desk could use a few lessons in humility and customer service.

A fantastic vet clinic with great staff. Drs took great care of my pets. Covid measures have been terrible to deal in general but this place does it's best to keep everyone up to date with how things work. Will definitely be taking my pets back.

They were all very thorough in explaining every procedure. The office was very clean. Fair prices. Will take all of my animals there! It's hard to find a vet that will care for your animal as if they were their own.

The staff and vet treated my fur baby with warmth love and kindness. She was a rescue dog from the Humane Society and had been abused by previous owners, they listened to my concerns and treated her like a queen. I have brought my other fur baby to them before he passed away they also treated with love and warmth. I will continue to use this clinic for my fur baby's needs.

The staff and the vets are great. However, they have to do something about the wait time. We had an appointment for 10:50, we arrived at 10:40 and it was 11:20 and we were not called yet. We ended up leaving due to having another appt we had to keep. We actually reside in Texas (formerly from Wichita) and we still travel back to go to this clinic because we absolutely love them so much but the wait times are getting to be too long for us.

Very friendly staff, and the vets are very easy to talk to. My puppy has no problem going to the vet, and theres no doubt its because she gets lots of treats from very nice people. And their services are affordable. And those cookie-treats that my dog loves so much, are homemade, and they sell them in the retail shop next door for cheap. They've made training so much easier. Pet Haven is great. Couldn't thank them enough.

I've used them as my primary vet for almost 5 years now and recently moved down to Haysville. I'll gladly drive the 15-20 mins to keep my pets in good hands. When my pup passed away they even planted a tree in her name on Arbor Day!!

My 2 cats were super sick and I took them into pet haven as soon as they had an open spot. Sky was so nice and helpful and in very glad she was there. All vets are expensive but this one was not bad. Definitely give them a ring for all your pet needs!

Pet Haven has been taking care of our fur babies for over 10 years and we wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else. They are friendly and caring. When our baby Cinnamon (10 yrs old) got sick with Cancer, they went above and beyond to try to save her and did everything they could to make her comfortable when it became clear she was going to lose her battle. When we adopted Ziggy, the first place I called was Pet Haven for her well pet check. The staff there is awesome and I appreciate everything they have done for us.

I was really worried because I have never been through any kind of surgery on one my pets. They did such an amazing job. She is really close to being back to normal. I used to take my animals here years ago. I decided to bring my cat for a spay, and seems like this clinic has gone downhill. I was put on hold 3 different times. They were very disorganized and couldn't find my cats paperwork both when we brought her in, and picked her up. I noticed my address was still incorrect after I told it to the receptionist about 5 times lol. Other than that, the staff was very nice, but needs to get have a better system of organization.

Dr. Spiller is really good with my 2 dogs. My Westie had a patella surgery done and also a ruptured ccl surgery done. Dr. Spiller did both surgeries. She has a great bedside manner with both of my dogs. She always explains everything to me. She is very caring. The office staff is very nice also

So Pet Haven was our vet clinic of choice only because its where my husband and his family always took their pets. And it was close to our old place of residence. They are fine for basic shots and exams, although I will say last time I checked they did not offer the three year shots. Which we would prefer because its better for the animals. Our oldest cat who is now 10 has anxiety issues. She started having accidents when I got pregnant (2018) and has since. We also have two younger male cats, one being her son. They got along fine before the third cat came along, and they like to antagonize her. So I took her in to be looked at to try to figure out why she was having accidents. Her stools were also loose sometimes with blood. The only thing they wanted to do was test her feces, so we did. They found bacteria, but didn't say what kind. So we gave her two rounds of antibiotics, which didn't help the problem. Then we did another fecal sample to check for an overgrowth of bacteria. They said there was but again, couldn't tell me what kind. At this time I had also been giving her probiotics, and they couldn't even tell me if it was good or bad bacteria they found. In order to figure that out it would be another $80 dollars. So I just said forget it and lived with the poop accidents and have tried several other things which didn't work. I finally got fed up and took her back asking for an anxiety medication. They gave her Xanax and told me to give it to her every 12 hours. So I gave her the first pill and she could barely walk.....they didn't say start with half a pill because your cat is under ten pounds or anything. *rolls eyes* I talked to my cousin who is a vet tech and she said that Xanax is a sedative and more for like car rides and stuff. But when I asked the Vet about if there was anything else she could take she said no, thats what they start out with, so that was my only option. So my cat is high on Xanax now, she still has accidents but at least she seems more chill? Except when the pill wears off then she gets super cranky. Not at all what I wanted. I was looking for something more like Prozac, something that would help her behavior and stress. My cousin gives her cats Prozac because they have anxiety driven IBS. Which is what I suspect my cat has. I had to insist it was that on the phone too because they would've run me through the gamut of tests testing for infections and I don't have that kind of money!!!! I don't like this vet clinic because they don't seem very comprehensive. I will say that if my cat is on the Xanax consistently she will use the litter box, but if I miss her dose by even thirty minutes she has an accident....Like just help a girl out please and give my cat the pills she needs! I am tired of the poop! UPDATE 1/15/21 - I had called back several times trying to get them to change her medication. The original vet was never available, after talking on the phone with a vet tech for about 30 minutes she consulted with the vet that was there (who was not our vet) and they said we had to come in. So when I get there they said I couldn't go in because I said on the phone I had covid. (I did not say that, I said I was isolating between families just to be safe and I needed my mother in law to watch my son because the vet did not allow kids inside). I got a little bit frustrated and said I would be finding a new vet. OH and she did not mention over the phone that the appt with the other vet would cost another exam fee, on top of the one we just had. So I left, then called back and asked if they could at least refill my cats prescription because we were almost out of pills, they said no because we were leaving. Then they said we couldn't schedule with Dr. Campbell anymore because of "behavior issues" which would be me getting frustrated with the vet asst. I am not normally an impolite person, in fact I am very kind, I have been dealing with new PMDD symptoms and I just happened to be having a very bad day that day. Just because I got a little mad they refuse to see us now. We have found a better vet.

We have been very happy with the care of our dogs for many years by Pet Haven. The Vets are caring, are extremely competent and make our dogs and us feel comfortable. Pet Haven has made that final goodbye easier for us by caring how the pet feels and how we are ready to release our pets for their final journey. It is never easy but they make it less traumatic. We have had them do everything for our dogs from trimming nails to pain relief. Highly recommended.

I've been taking my dogs here for over a dozen years. I would trust Dr Spiller with any animal I have in my care. They are quick to get your pet in especially for an emergency and work hard to help if there is a problem. They have spayed a couple dogs of mine as well as sadly having to put one of my gals down a few years ago. It was tough and they all rallied around me and my family. Highly recommend.

The people there Are as professional as it gets. we love our Bulldog (Tonka) She had to suffer a while until monies were gathered up to get her the required treatment needed. To correct her ailment. But they were there for us, "Indeed," they were ready for us. And promptly treated her kindly. We was then was on our way! With one sleepy Bulldog, that then immediately started feeling better the whole time! Also' noticed a sharp increase in appetite, to wit She was becoming her good old self Again! I've been taking my pets here for several years after I was referred by a friend. Many of my friends with pets use Pet Haven - the longest would be about a decade and I've been using them since 2006. The quality of care and cost have both been consistently excellent. I typically don't see a particular vet and I've never been concerned about it since I've had a good experience with each one I've seen - even the one that was just filling in while one was out of the office. The vet techs have been excellent too. You can tell they enjoy their jobs and care about animals too. One of the things that keeps me coming back is the level of trust I have with them. They never upsell or quilt. My experiences with two other vet clinics in town was lots of upselling through quilt and overcharging for services. The fact that when I walk in I know they are going to give me advice, information and then allow me to make my own choice is a huge deal. That makes me trust them when they say - I recommend that you do this. I recommend Pet Haven to anyone looking for a vet in Wichita. Consistently excellent, caring, affordable.

Our spoiled 15-year-old kitty has been to Pet Haven for most of the time we've had him. The office is clean and well staffed. Dr. Spiller takes loving care of him and has helped us to manage his hyperthyroidism. Pet Haven carries the prescription food he needs and sells it at a very competitive price. Usually Pet Haven does considerably well with handling appointment scheduling but as of today this marks the second time in a month where we have called to schedule an appointment, been given a time and date, only to arrive or double check and be told we weren't scheduled and had no appointment. Because we were unable to get a name we don't know who was SUPPOSED to schedule us so it's our word against theirs. While I understand things are tough due to the current pandemic it's incredibly frustrating that we've somehow slipped through the cracks twice in one month.

Today I called to see about getting my dog in since he has been not feeling well for a few days. I typically go to another vet, but they are closed on Monday’s. I called around 830 and I initially got put on a waiting list for first appointment if someone couldn’t make it. I get a call around 930 to come in at 1050. I get there and was check in right away and put in a room within minutes of walking through the front door. Dr. Menze (I hope I spelled that right! Lol) is WONDERFUL! She took it slow with my dog and he responded so well to her. She gave me several options and what she thought would be best for my dog and my wallet. She is very personable and very knowledgeable! Thank you so much for squeezing us in before we left out of State for our trip!

We recently moved to Wichita. Our first week in town, our older dog was limping and we took her in for shots and to have her check. Since our kids weren't enrolled in school yet, I also had all my children with me. The vet, Dr. Menze was super nice with all the chaos and explained all our options and the associated costs with each option. Unfortunately, when x-raying our dog's leg the vet discovered she had lung cancer. Dr. Menze was great with explaining everything to us including spending over 20 minutes answering every question my 8 year old asked. Her bedside manner was awesome. She recommended not doing the vaccinations and taking Molly home and loving her until it was time. Dr. Menze also did a great job explaining how we would know when our beloved dog was ready to die. Molly died at home this past week. The staff was amazing when i called them freaking out and not knowing what to do. They explained my options and very tactfully explained the associated costs. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic, the staff and Dr. Menze. I was pleasantly surprised when we received a sympathy from Dr. Menze today along with a beautiful hand written note.

Dr. Smith gets invited to exclusive veterinary conferences all expenses paid to learn the latest and greatest techniques and practices that know one else in kansas is even capable of, although he definitely arms the other veterinarians at pet haven with the knowledge and skills to ensure that their abilities to diagnose and problem solve to help various animals in the most effective way possible. vet clinics are never cheap but Dr Smith makes sure that common routine care as well as spaying/neutering is affordable so more animals can get the care that they truly need and I know he periodically checks with competition to make sure his clinic always has fair prices (excluding unprofessional vets or clinics) most of the money goes to investing in infrastructure and technology at pet haven as well as investing in his employees so they can take care of themselves and their families without worry. this place truly cares about their patients lives and well being and offers the best care in dare I say all of the Midwest that I know of.

I have a husky that literally is strong enough to fight God. They put a muzzle on him took him to the back for like 3 seconds and it was over.i think they are brilliant and want everyone to know
