Throughout the whole ordeal , they shared their knowledge and wisdom, but always made us feel like family. Bogue is an old fashion animal care center.I Have nothing but praise for the whole bunch that work their butts off to provide top of the line service, anytime or occasion.The original work force has completely retired and now we have a great young Doc. and plenty of workers that as a unit take your Pet as part of their family. They are professional, well trained, happy and work well as a unit in caring for your pet. They are still on south Maize road and worth the ride to get there. My dog loves it and they have never disappointed me. Of all the Pet Care centers in this area Bogue has my vote. My dog even likes it. MY pet Patton gives BOUGE a 4 paws yes vote for services from grooming to surgical care as well as playing with the staff.

We have always gotten --and continue to get-- first-rate care for our animals at Bogue. In the past, with Dr. Bogue and staff, and now, with Dr. Parsons and staff. Dr. Parsons and her staff are like extended family to us, genuinely concerned and affectionate with our animals and very personable and cooperative/collaborative to work with. They are our medical team. Over the years and TODAY, whether it's been surgery, infectious disease control, chronic medical conditions, general health maintenance and monitoring, or geriatric and end-of-life care, we know where to go to get the best care for our whole pack: Bogue Animal Hospital.

I am very thankful for Bogue taking us a clients when many others turned us away (our vet AND back up vet were gone). Unfortunately, our precious Millie girl was a tough case and tough to diagnose. Even though they did not figure out the Canine Dysautonomia she was eventually diagnosed with, I DO believe their care and doctoring gave us an extra week with her. I appreciate the extra calls from the staff and Dr. Paolucci. When our vet returned and suspected CD, Dr. Paolucci called K-state vet on our behalf to ask questions. We did end up and lose Millie, and the pain is sometimes unbearable. But I am thankful for the care they gave her the fours days she was with them and the follow up calls.

It took awhile to diagnose the dog's itchy skin issue that had reached an extreme discomfort for the dog and the owners. The doctor was good at trying to educate all the different scenarios that could possibly be going on with the dog. Dr. Bogue worked with Dr. Swanson the Dermatologist specialist at K-State Animal Hospital to complete a thorough diagnosis and identify the issues. Now our 9 year old Silky is comfortable and enjoying life again!

Dr. Bogue and his staff are so kind and great to work with. They are professional and answer any questions I have regarding our pets. Dr. Bogue has been wonderful to work with, as he patiently works every week on our puppy's ears. Due to the pandemic they have it set up for you to drop off your pet at their entrance and after one of the Vets has treated your pet, the vet assistant will bring your pet out to your car. After several trips to the ER, & my (not anymore) primary care vet giving up....Dr. Bogue got me on the right track by suggesting K-State. He also called personally to check on Grimm, that’s hard to find nowadays. He’s thorough in explaining his process & is VERY good at taking the “big scary” words and breaking them down into understandable terms. 10/10 recommend , he will become Grimms primary care vet now .

Bogue animal hospital has had the expertise and love toward our animals for many years. From late night emergency calls to regular appointments they helped hold our hands as we held our animals paws through many doggies, many doggie years, old age and torn ACL chasing bunnies in the yard. I am only a little over a 1yr client so far but have been in numerous times and absolutely love the staff. I have been going to another vet for 18yrs for my cat (still do as I didn't want to change and deal with records etc since our cat rarely goes now) anyway, we purchased a boxer puppy in August 2013 and decided to keep him where the breeders went. Our first visit dr Bogue had Kstate on. I said yep! This is meant to be! (Our puppy has Kstate collar and leash. Haha) but seriously, every time I go in or call I get exactly what I need. I also do not get surprised by vet bills. When we got our pup neutered I was given an estimate without asking. We ended up with a 2nd boxer, Zoe, and so we have been in their quite a few times with having two dogs. I've never felt rushed or unwanted. I will say though, one thing I do like about my previous vet is she acted like my cat was the best cat ever! I know that's not true but I do know we as animal lovers want our vet to make us feel like our animals are the best (-: I want to say thank you to the ladies at the front desk. You guys are the heart of the clinic. Without you you would not make the clinic what it is. Dr. Bogue is super knowledgeable and I love his at ease personality.

Dr. Paolucci is the best and my tabby Leo loves her! She's so gentle and caring, she's been super successful in getting him off of steroids and we monitor him closely to make sure he stays healthy. She listens to what's been going on, not forcing a diagnosis without a thorough history and exam. She's not afraid to say she isn't certain, that makes her easy to trust. Leo isn't frightened or intimidated by her, he really seems relaxed once she comes in the exam room. It's been hard to find a vet like Dr. P and we're not going anywhere else as long as she's there! Oh, and no offense to Dr. Bogue, I've just never met the man.

They offered to refer us to specialists but her problems were too severe for us to continue seeking help. Earlier this week a beautiful, older Bassett Hound wound up on my door step. I learned he was not from our neighborhood and took him to Bogue Animal Hospital to be scanned for a chip. They were helpful I scanning him and I appreciated their time. Unfortunately, "Lucky", as I later learned he was named, had no chip and no collar. It turned out that Lucky was well named, however. My neighbor got busy and posted info on social media as well as our HOA website. She was contacted by the owner and provided my info. She then called me as I was headed across town to the Humane Society. He is one lucky dog!

If you are feeling if-fy about finding a reliable, caring vet, I can tell you with 100% confidence that you can trust Bogue Animal Hospital. I got my first puppy in March of this year. This has been my experience: 1) The front desk always answers the first time you call and is friendly/knowledgable. 2) They have always been able to get me in the same week I call. When he had a little emergency this week, they got me in 30 minutes after I called. 3) My first visit was so much more than I expected. They not only got Rocko his shots, but sat with me for an hour, not only answering my questions, but answering questions I wouldn't have known to ask. It was refreshing to have someone not only care about my pet's health, but our success as a team during his puppy phase. 4) When Rocko needed surgery on his fractured baby tooth, they went ahead and moved his neutering up and combined it with the tooth surgery to save me money. They were able to schedule him for surgery 1 week from our initial "something's wrong-help" visit. I called his original vet (where his neutering was already paid for) and they were booked out for a month and a half. I feel so fortunate that I chose Bogue Animal Hospital. They are genuine partners that I can rely on. You will not be making a mistake by choosing them.
