Very positive experience! We have a very anxious dog who the team handled extremely well. They were thorough and walked us through everything. The facility itself is clean, they even have toys for dogs to play with while they wit as well as bowls of water. It was easy to get a same-day appointment and the wait time was minimal.

Excellent Incredible Service from the initial exam though the post surgical follow ups. Our Boston Terrier Lucy had an very infected/swollen mammary glad and was not doing well. It went from a tiny bump to a huge lump in 2 days :( They opened up their schedule in an hour and immediately saw her on Tuesday afternoon. The Surgical planning team was very up front with the estimated charges and what care she needed and we agreed to Thursday Morning for the Surgery. We brought her at 8:30 am and the surgical nurse was reassuring and able to prepare her for surgery even though she was in EXTREME discomfort by now. They stayed in touch throughout the day and called me the moment she was out of surgery. The staff sent her home with all the medications in very carefully thought out bottles and envelopes so we would not get confused what antibiotics and medicines she needed and when to give them. We could not be more impressed with Dr. Kantor and her follow up through the weekend and into the next week. The team there is A+++ and Bond Vet is TRULY a 21st century driven vet practice with all the systems and apps you would expect to stay on top of critical situations like this. Bravo! All our dogs will be going here from now on! Lucy made a full recovery and she has more energy and appetite than she's had a long time.

I love that you can always get an appointment here. It’s a little pricey but you are really treated very well. The doctors have always been incredible thorough and the staff go above and beyond for you. It was a little tricky during the pandemic and you had to wait outside in the winter under a tent but once that was over, it’s been a breeze at BondVet. Definitely recommend!

As a first time customer there is always a little apprehension when taking our dog Maggie to a new vet. However the welcome desk was excellent, the staff courteous and efficient. The medical staff was very thorough and Dr Eugene Lee particularly reassuring. The fee structure seemed very reasonable and the recommendations for treatment comprehensive but not over promoted. Highly recommended.

I LOVE Bond Vet. This whole experience made me switch from a previous vet. Very clean place, no wait. Everyone nice and attending. And you can CHAT with them via phone texts about suggested medications after your visit. And chat with actually real person on the othe side. My dog ate some chocolate and late in the evening had to take him to the emergency room (not Bond). First thing next morning i got a text from Bond Vet asking me how my dog was doing and what happened to him. That was really sweet! Would recommend to everyone!

The aesthetic of the place is extremely peaceful! Everyone is so nice and friendly, Bruno was thrilled and the amazing treats of course didn’t hurt. I’ve seen a different vet every time but they’ve all been caring and good at explaining what my older Persian may need done now and then in the future. They gave me choices from doing all the recommendations to the minimum and the cost for each one. I’ve never been to a vet clinic where they have been so upfront about this and I really like that I feel like I’m making the choice about my cat’s well-being. Plus, they’re very good at listening and responding to my concerns & questions in a respectful manner.

I have been taking my kitten Oliver to Bond vet for 5 months now and the services and attention to detail are always incredible. Last week I had my cat spayed and the services and the attention to Oliver exceeded my expectations. I have been to the Upper west and east Bond vet the staff is always so nice. I wholeheartedly recommend bringing your pet to Bond Vet. I brought my six year old mini American Eskimo, Telluride for a teeth cleaning last week. He had not had a cleaning in more than four years. The team at Bond Vet took amazing care of him, kept me informed throughout the procedure, and have checked up on him multiple times, since he returned home with me. They are skilled, kind, and have an obvious genuine love for animals.

The office was very clean and spacious. They even had healthy dog treats, which helped my dog relax and feel more comfortable being at the vet. Dr. Koning was great. She was gentle with our dog and thorough with the examination. The vet tech went over all of the charges in detail with us before proceeding. At other clinics I have had vets just do random tests and I would end up with a large bill I was not anticipating, so I appreciate Bond Vet going over the estimated costs with us beforehand.

This Vet facility is clean, friendly with beautiful up to date equipment. Staff is friendly knowledgeable and compassionate. Dr Lee , the medical director, is a thorough doctor and great diagnostician. The treatment to my pet was performed on the visit, as it was an urgent matter. I will definitely be coming back! We all have those days where things just seem to go wrong. After showing up at the wrong location the Bond team was able to call the location I was supposed to be at and they were still able to squeeze me. Not only were they gracious enough to squeeze me in, the facility was clean, they had toys for pets to play with in the waiting area and the staff was overall very warm and kind! My pup usually is very aware and scared of vets but she didn’t even seem to notice! Overall a very positive experience, the price for the visit was cheaper than our old (out of state vet) and the staff was informative and kind.

My dog was sick for 10 days and I went to Bond vet after hearing great things from other pet owners in my building. They were able to see my pet for a same day appointment. The lady on the phone set me up with an account and an app within 15 minutes. The exam room at Bond Vet was spacious and allowed for my dog to move around and decompress at his own rate. The the vet tech was patient and gentle with my dog offering him treats, petting him, and allowing him to sniff all her tools before she even began her routine exam. By the time Dr. Halle Thomasch came in my dog had began to calm down. She again took her time offering him treats, petting him, and allowing him to sniff all her tools. It was clear Dr. Thomasch reviewed all my dog’s medical records and notes before our visit (even though it was so last minute) because she was able to answer all my questions and pinpoint exactly where things went wrong at the last vet and how she plans to correct them. She was extremely thorough and patient with both me and my dog which was much appreciated. All the costs and procedures were explained to me upfront. Nothing was done to my dog without me knowing. Nothing was charged to my card without my authorization. I was given an itemized receipt that was emailed to me and will show in my app as well. I was also emailed detailed notes of the visit. I was explained exactly what the follow up procedure is, how I should administer medication, etc. Our visit lasted over an hour which shows how meticulous and thorough my dog’s exam was as well as the explanation of payment and debriefing on medications and follow up procedures. Even though we were there well past closing on a holiday, the ladies at the front desk stayed to play fetch with my dog and give him pets and treats for being such a brave boy. We even left with a goodie bag! I cannot say enough good things about Bond Vet. If I could give it 10 stars I would. If I could give Dr. Thomasch 10 stars I would. If I could give everyone I interacted with 10 stars I would.

I brought my dog, Puffy, in for an eye check up and the Dr. noticed a tiny mammary tumor. They immediately walked me through the whole process of removing the tumor and spaying her (my bad for waiting so long!) and gave me a full price breakdown that accounted for the surgery, pre- and post-op, and all necessary tests to ensure she can successfully undergo surgery. Two days prior, I received instructions on how to prepare her and my questions were fully answered over the phone. On the day of surgery, they promptly took Puffy in at the drop off time and kept me updated via texts. In less than a couple of hours, Puffy was tumor (and uterus) free, and already awake! Dr. Jessica DeAcetis called me to let me know how her surgery went. When I picked her up, someone patiently walked me over how to care for her and I was given a goodies bag that included the cutest certificate of bravery overall! Having your dog go through surgery is terrifying but being kept in the loop, offered kindness and patience, and the best vet care possible makes the process so much smoother for me and my pup. I am beyond grateful to everyone involved in Puffy's surgery - thank you, Bond Vet!

Extraordinary care at this practice, East Village (and every other Bond vet we recently visited) for our cat, who eventually passed after his struggle with co-morbidities. Dr. Kantor and her crew are top notch. Thorough, patient, exceptionally communicative and available every step of the way. Dr. Kantor especially has been very kind and attentive, exceeding expectation throughout and has made the difficult situation of caring for an ailing pet as stress free and manageable as possible. This place is really beautiful. The minute I walked in I was so nervous, but the staff was really nice and made me feel welcomed. I came in without an appointment and was seen in a few minutes. The waiting room is beautifully made and gives you the space that you and your pet needs. Dr. Buchalter was really nice and gave me some really great resources to help with my cats necrotizing mastitis. She was able to get surgery thanks to the information she gave me. I am so happy with BondVet! Dr. Buchalter has been following up and asking how my cat is doing. I recommend this place! Will be coming back for sure 🙌🏼

Our first appointment was on time and the facility was clean, comfortable and pretty. Everyone we worked with at Bond Vet was terrific, friendly and knowledgeable, from Sabrina at the front desk, to Dr. Tomash and the PA during our puppy’s first visit, and the helpful assistants who answered the phones and got us the information we needed when we called with follow up questions. I would recommend Bond Vet to anyone with a pet in Manhattan. They were attentive, explanatory, and made sure my cat felt comfortable and loved by everyone there. I went for a yearly checkup and vaccine update. There was zero wait time, every question was answered, every service and price was explained, and it was all complimented by the warm & clean environment. I could tell the staff knew just how much I loved my cat - and they treated him with accordingly! Great experience all around. Edit: I just took him for surgery at this location. From the surgery concierge, to the nurse, to every person I interacted with - I could tell they wanted to care for my pet in every way possible. They are thorough, warm, and loving. My cat will be leading a better life now thanks to the surgical team at bond vet.

Could not possibly be in better hands with this team. From the moment you walk in, everyone treats owners and their pets with the love and care they deserve. It's unlike any other vet clinic I've been to before, and I highly recommend checking them out. The space is also such a plus. I've never seen a cleaner and more inviting clinic anywhere. It looks like the lounge of a tech start-up if all the employees were animals. Truly, you won't be disappointed!

UPDATE 03/12/2020 - The staff reached out to me so I will go back for a second visit. I will update my review based on that, seems like I may have just had rotten luck that first visit. Sat 02/29/2020 Visit We went to Bond Vet UES, which I remain neutral about. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and the pricing is fair ($15 first time, $75 for regular visits , lab work and treatments extra). One particular staff person irritated the life out of me and as a result I will probably never go back. She is wonderful with animals, but not so much which their humans. (She seemed new, defensive and just plain off-putting). Even Val got annoyed with her and she likes everyone. Overall the hours are great and the UES location is clean and attractive. The doctors are very personable and I trust my pet to their care. I do NOT however trust some (namely one) nurse with my pet who is more concerned with their pride than bedside manner, and can't answer basic questions about fecal samples.

I’ve brought my kitten Louie to Bond Vet at their Upper East Side location since I moved to NYC in the end of 2021. To be honest they are more expensive than other vets but you are really getting every dollars worth. They are so thoughtful to each and every one of the animals that comes and their owners. They go above and beyond to make sure your pet is extremely well taken care of and make sure they’re doing well after each visit. They have a lot of safety precautions which I highly appreciate because I assume we all have a connection to our animals and would never want anything bad to happen to them. The moral of the story is, if you can afford to go to Bond Vet, I highly recommend it.

Highly recommend! My dog needed to see a vet on New Years day for an eye problem. I called a number of locations. Bond Vet set me up with an appointment at a convenient time. The technicians and the vet were helpful, friendly and professional. They answered my questions and were very good with the dog. The facility was clean and neat. They were very efficient with time - within 10 minutes of entering the building my guy was seen by the vet. They were able to do a quick test to diagnose the problem, dispensed the eye ointment on site, and I was done quickly. I felt the prices were reasonable - we've had dogs for over 20 years and lived in NJ as a price comparison. Given that it was a holiday I felt for sure I would be charged a huge fee - but that was not the case. I will definitely use Bond Vet moving forward.

(in the warm lobby) and due to the “inconvenience” they covered the requested nail trim. Every part of the visit was professional, caring, and amazing! This is our new vet for the long term! I felt a little overwhelmed on where to take my new puppy with so many options in the city. Honestly, I just chose Bond because it was very easy to schedule an appointment online but I’m so glad I did! My first visit (with several puppy vaccines) wasn’t anywhere near as expensive as I thought it might be, the faculty is very clean and calming (vet visits are stressful for humans too!), and most of all the bedside manner of the vet was incredible! Bond Vet has been incredible! I got my puppy about a month ago and have brought her in for two rounds of vaccinations. The staff at the 62nd and 3rd are so, so nice! They are sweet, seem to love the animals that come in, and have communicated ALL costs to me ahead of time so there aren’t any surprises. Puppies are expensive and it’s really reassuring to know the costs beforehand. I also can’t rave enough about the added support Bond Vet gives. I’m a new dog mom and wasn’t sure if my puppy was reacting normally to her vaccines and called their 24/7 call line 3 times one week and they have answered all my questions, gave me great advice, and always encouraged me to call back with any questions or concerns. I would recommend this vet to anyone and everyone with a pet!

My experience at Bond Vet UES was wonderfully comforting and pleasant. I was able to book a same day appt for my pug who had her first eye infection. The reception area is well decorated, spacious and bright. I was warmly greeted and the check-in was easy. I didn’t have much wait to see the doctor and she as well as the nurse was very friendly and thoroughly explained everything to me and I didn’t feel rushed. What I appreciated most was them not trying to to convince me I need to run a million tests and/or try to sell me lots of additional medicines like some other vet offices in NYC I’ve gone to in the past. Bond Vet as been the best and most stress free experience ever. Before I was going to a vet in BX that made me feel so uncertain, didn’t answer most of my questions, left me with a bill I didn’t understand and most procedures I didn’t even ask for. I felt like things were being missed and my dog wasn’t getting the utmost medical care. I was anxious switching to bond vet- but they were consistent with communication, price break downs and the perfect amount of comforting. I had to bring two of my older cats into the vet, I was very nervous because I never brought these two to the vet and was very hesitant. Had a GREAT experience at Bond. Our dog Sophie's regular vet was closed so we took her in to be seen for an injury. The waiting area was bright and clean, with plenty of toys and treats to entertain Sophie. The vet was compassionate, friendly, and helpful, and made us feel like she was really listening to us. She took the time to answer our (many!) questions and address our concerns. We left with a diagnosis, medication, and goodie bag, and we received visit documentation, including an itemized receipt and thorough visit summary, via email. Overall a smooth experience that made us feel like our pup was in good hands!

I know the appearance of a Vet Clinic shouldn't matter, but it was so clean, welcoming and trendy immediately when you walk in. The staff are so kind and I really appreciated how during the first appointment for our puppy they made sure to explain everything regarding vaccines and different viruses and diseases that were possible. They provided videos and tools on how to take care of our puppy's teeth and ears. And if you are new puppy owner they give you a welcome puppy bag filled with goodies for your pup! Which myself and my puppy LOVED! I highly recommend Bond Vet! It is so easy to schedule an appointment too which I love especially since I am working from home it is just so easy to go to the website or app and schedule an appointment.

My dog daisy tore her acl/ccl canine cruciate ligament and Dr. Kantor performed the surgery. The CCL repair was successful (as one would hope and expect) but what really stood out was Dr. Kantor’s responsiveness to questions and post operative care. Every time i go to Bond Vet i come home and tell my husband how happy i am to have found this place. Not only are they always available for emergencies but they are super nice as well as very professional and their prices are quite reasonable . At my old place, i used to always have to make an appointment long in advance to see the doctor and had to wait endless hours for the doc to see my dog. Here i walk in and immediately i get called into the room. I think the doctors who are working at BOND VET really love our animals. What more do we need ?

The staff is very friendly and we really like our vet Dr Thomasch. They go over the charges in detail with you and try to accommodate you with a nurse appointment if an actual Dr appointment is not necessary, in the case of vaccines (other than rabies). They are fairly prompt in replying to any online inquiry. Our Maggie really goes crazy for their treats as well. So far we are very pleased with our visits to Bond Vet.

I moved in November of last year, and as a result I've had to switch vets. I've come to this location a few times, not for anything too serious and always had a pleasant experience. September 20th, my dog wasn't feeling well and she had been vomiting for a few days so I brought her in. Cue meeting Dr. Amy Kantor. Dr. Kantor took care of Zelda's nausea, but also suggested blood tests that revealed she suffers from hypothyroidism. No one has ever suggested this before, and it turns out it's the cause of many of Zelda's skin afflictions!! Thankfully that's being treated. Dr. Kantor also noticed that Zelda had a bump on her inner leg that I thought was an ingrown hair. Turns out it was a mast cell tumor. Luckily Dr. Kantor noticed this and we were able to remove it. Currently they're still doing tests, we don't know if it was skin cancer but I am so grateful that she was our vet the day I took Zelda in. Dr. Kantor is always in touch if I have any questions and throughout Zelda's surgery and recovery she has been an amazing resource! Thank you to Dr. Kantor and Bond, for hiring veterinarians that care so much!!

beautiful and clean! i took my puppy here for his 1st exam which was $25, and i love that they’re open after 5 .. my appointment was 7:30 and i was seen on time and everything was perfect they gave me a goodie tote and all the info i needed. Visiting from out of state with my 5month old Scottish Terrier….he had some sort of eye infection that looked concerning so I was happy to find their last same-day appointment. First off, this place is the most aesthetically pleasing vet I’ve ever seen! Everyone was friendly and there are jerky dispensers in case your pup needs a little treat to distract him. The doctors were great, told me prices of everything before doing tests and prescribing things. They did an eye exam with dye to rule out damage to his eye. He got some antibiotic drops, a cone of shame, and we were on our way. They even give a little goodie bag as a first time visit thank you. Wish we had Bond Vet in Colorado!

I highly recommend taking your cat or dog here for care. My dog tore her acl and her previous vet was unavailable for emergency situations. They would not provide me with a consultation over the phone and the receptionist who responded lacked empathy. I was fortunate enough to be referred to Bond Vet who provided my dog with care every step of the way. The front desk team was welcoming and friendly, the veterinarian and vet technicians were patient and kind, and Dr. Kantor and the veterinary nurses surpassed my expectations with their empathy and understanding during a difficult time. This professional team guided me through the process every step of the way and helped my dog when we needed them the most. They truly dedicate their lives to making sure our fuzzy babies are healthy and well. 10 out of 10 I would recommend.

What an amazing experience! I am a first time pet owner and was a little nervous about trying to find the “right” vet. However, BondVet completely blew my mind! Such a warm and welcoming staff, with knowledgeable veterinarians—open to address all of your questions and concerns. My puppy was spayed at the UES location and had a great experience. The pre-surgery consultation was very thorough and helped me understand what to expect before/during/after the surgery. The staff at UES was very friendly and surgery went smoothly and my puppy is recovering well over the last 2 weeks. I'd highly recommend BondVet :)

Bond vet has always done a great job being thorough in explanations with me, and I have seen at least 3-4 of their vets in UPW and UES locations. My latest visit my dog was distressed with labored breathing and lots of throwing up. They did a quick exam and suggested the ER... even had one of their own go with me (in the cold) to help ensure I felt okay with transferring her there. Never thought such a thing would happen, wow! 100/10

We’ve brought our beagle puppy to Bond Vet for two wellness/vaccines visits and also attended their free puppy socialization class (which was amazing, and so helpful for learning puppy training tricks!). This is a great place! I was ready to make this our new vet. However, they charge a $50 nurse visit and vaccines cost 30% more than any other vet in the UES, which will force us to find another place. I don't mind paying a little more for the vaccines but the additional nurse fee makes it too expensive. I need to give my dog a Lepto vaccine and cannot see myself pay over $100 for it.

While visiting from Europe, something upset my dog's stomach and I needed to find a vet in NY. I was really nervous because I had heard horror stories about vets in the US overcharging you for everything and taking advantage of your attachment to your pet, especially when it is sick and you are desperate for a solution ( in the past I was charged 200 dollars at a vet in Manhattan for a piece of paper saying my dog is healthy enough to get on a plane, something which I get in Europe for max 30 euros...). However at Bond Vet, they are very straightforward with the amount you will pay, no mysterious fees pop up anywhere and all the staff were incredibly nice to both me and my dog. I relieved now that I know that next time I am in NY, I have somewhere where I can go in case or emergency and it won't cost me an arm and a leg for no reason.

I absolutely love Bond Vet, my fiancé has been using the one located in Chelsea and I admired their services so when I finally got my own pet I decided to use Bond Vet closer to me in Upper East Side. Really love this vet for how they care for your pet, the ease of booking an appointment and the cleanliness and comfortable vibes of their facility. We did the $15 puppy exam, which is really inexpensive and great. They sold us on some other things, of course. Vaccines are quite expensive compared to other vets and there are no puppy wellness plans for the first year like some other vets have. Would have given 5 stars if that was the case. But; we had a great experience going there. Just need to do some cost analysis and crunch the numbers before we decide to go back.

Brought my new rescue dog in for a wellness visit. He was nervous (especially since it was a drop-off visit given COVID) but the folks at Bond seemed super nice and to truly care about the animals. So far I’ve had a great experience at bond vet with my first puppy, who has come for her first shots all the way to her spaying surgery. Bond has always been able to squeeze me in for an appointment at short notice, and they’ve always taken my dog right on time or even early for an appointment. The staff are so friendly and helpful — My dog even tries to walk into Bond whenever we walk by! While they aren’t the cheapest vet around, they’re extremely transparent with pricing and is non-judgmental if you decline or postpone a service. And when it’s time for neutering or spaying your animal, they set you up with a fantastic surgery concierge to walk you through the process. We love Bond vet!

Truly a great vet, the vet techs and doctor are so nice and friendly and treat pets so well. I've taken two of my cats here. I just wish they were more transparent about check-up pricing. It was a different price when i brought my first cat than my second one and reading reviews almost everyone gives a different price as to what they paid for a general check-up. Maybe I missed something but nowhere on their site or updates do they note increasing or fluctuating check-up pricing. Overall, if you are on a tight budget there are other good vets that are more affordable. But if thats no problem then this is the place to go! The office is insanely clean and staff is knowledgable and it shows that they care about the animals.

These ladies are great. Everyone that I have had an encounter with has been wonderful. My wife and I adopted a Boston Terrier in September 2020. We initially brought our puppy there for a wellness check when we first adopted. We have brought here there all her shots since then. We had a scare back in December when she had an allergic reaction to something and they took good care of her right away Everyone that works there seem to love their job and truly care about the animals. They call or email to check up after visits. They explain everything in detail and tell you prices upfront with no hidden costs. Everything is itemized. I wish I could remember everyone's name except I'm horrible at that. Dr. Austin, Leia are two that stick out. I hope the service remains the same because we plan on staying with them for awhile. I wish that human nurses and physicians were as professional and with the same bedside manner.

- Transparency in billing & ease of payments - Accessibility. A refreshing change of pace when there is an actual person picking up the phone when you call v. going through various prompts and being routed to a labyrinth of departments. The person who picks up is actually able to address the issue - Ease in scheduling appointments. They have availability that fits my schedule, one time was day of whereas with my prior vet it was weeks to get an appointment for shots. - Cost. The price was significantly cheaper than my previous vet, like a third of the price. Since it was just shots, we were able to work with a nurse v. vet. This helped reduce the bill and something that would never have been an option at our old vet. - Overall demeanor of the staff! Genuinely nice people who care about the animals. Have been to Bond Vet UES several times the last few months, before the pandemic and during. Nothing but positive experiences. My only regret is not switching to them as my full time vet sooner. However, the way they handled our cats was with such a loving touch, there wasn’t much of a fuss from our cats. This was my first time taking my kitten to the vet and I was nervous about how he would react. I checked in prior to our appt which saved me some time. I’ve been to other vet offices and the vibe of this one felt different. Everyone seemed happy to be there - the office is clean, modern and allowed enough space for folks/pets to socially distance. Complimentary treats and water for pets in the reception area and there are a couple of items for purchase (treats, toys, collars etc) . Check in was easy, front desk attendant was nice. I appreciated that the Vet & her tech took the time to read the information that I uploaded before we spoke & they were both very kind, attentive and thorough They were very transparent about the cost of everything - medication, vaccines etc. I got all of questions answered and didn’t try to upsell me on anything . The person on the phone was very kind and was looking for a location nearby me and scheduled me right away at 63rd and 3rd. The place is very beautiful and the whole staff was amazing and attentive. We realized our dog needed to be checked out last night after work and were able to secure a 9:30pm appointment for the same night. We switched to Bond vet after having 2 not so great visits at a different office. Our puppy is 17 weeks old and just had his final round of shots at Bond, and we got lots of really useful info about how to brush his teeth, clean his ears, when the ideal time to neuter him will be, etc. The drop-off appointments are super easy - the vet tech came out to take our pup in and then called and to talk through the visit, and then at the end the vet came out and had a 10 minute (masked and distant) conversation with us and answered all of our questions. 10/10 would recommend! And his first puppy visit was just $15!!

I have taken my senior dog to Bond Vet several times now for everything from routine vaccines to dental surgery. Every time I’ve been blown away by the incredible care and the thoughtful approach they take (little things like disguising an oral vaccine in a treat so my dog didn’t even notice he’d taken a vaccine). Any time we pass by the vet, my dog excitedly tries to go in even when that’s not our destination — and the fact that he seems to get excited about going says a lot. Recently, he had surgery and had almost all of his teeth removed. He has a mild heart murmur and I was extremely nervous, but the team at Bond Vet was patient and thorough in answering and addressing all my questions and concerns. They were so kind and calming with my dog. And I never felt out of the loop despite not being able to go in during our most recent visits due to the pandemic. We’ve had several negative experiences at other vets in the area, and some very mediocre experiences at others. And the care here has been outstanding regardless of which staff member we’ve seen. I literally couldn’t recommend them more.

The vets at Bond Vet were so accommodating and answered all my questions about my dog’s skin irritations that he has been having. She recommended a medicated shampoo and prescribed a three week treatment of antibiotics. She explained why my dog has had these irritations and what was needed to properly care for them. I felt at ease with her explanation and she even came out to meet me after her exam wrapped up. She asked me to check in with her in a week and to bring my dog back after the treatment has been completed. I left having a better understanding as to what was needed to make these infections go away so my dog doesn’t have these irritations again. Grateful for this location. Was looking for a new vet and have found a place for our fur babies. Pets are drop off only for Covid safety. Brought my newly adopted 2.5 month old pup into Bond for his first visit and vaccine boosters. They were really kind and thorough, I dropped him off right now time per their no-contact drop off policy, and got a call from Dr Anderson less than 10 min later to talk through what they were doing with Mousse (what vaccines they recommend, etc). They sent me the bill electronically, then called to pick him up 30 min later! Super easy and the Dr sounded great and helpful, not pushy at all and willing so explain things to me. Today I took London for her annual check up. She was greeted and had a great check up with the staff from Bond Vet UES. Dr Ruby Ng was great with London and thorough. Unfortunately later in the day London got off her leash and was hit by a car. We ran her back to Bond Vet. They took her in right away. They were great- knew what to do and kept us informed. Luckily she was not badly injured. We could not be happier with the way the staff handled her her and took care of her. Despite the other pets with appointments and other emergencies that they had to deal with, they never gave less than 100 percent great care to London. Doctors and nurses are absolutely amazing. Front office staff fall way way short of expectations. Made initial appointment very specifically to see a certain doctor, showed up to find out we were seeing a different one. No notification, nothing beforehand. Subsequently brought one of my dogs in because she was ill, and on the day after called to talk to the doctor to update her on her condition and figure out how to proceed since she wasn’t doing well. Took three calls just to get to talk to ANY doctor to figure out how to proceed. Basically had to get very upset to get a response. Flat out unacceptable. Fix your front office! All the branding and marketing stuff is worthless if it’s this frustrating. Love the veterinarian I see here, but seriously considering going elsewhere.

Very great experience as a first time patient . Pebbles walked in and she felt like she was at a pet store shopping around. Goodies in the corner, fancy water dispenser with cups and bowls available , lovely modern interior design, and a basket full of toys; not to mention the coordinating receptionist came up to me and filled out the patient forms which was a lovely approach. Pebbles definitely made her mark walking around and was comfortable. The nurse whom assisted us was great. No complaints, he was down to earth, very outgoing, straight forward and direct which I respect greatly, and was overall great with Pebbles. The Veterinarian came shortly after and she was a delight. Very friendly, super calm and collective, and explained herself, the concerns she had, and the solutions very efficiently . My Pomeranian is 10 years old; all her life she has been to only one Veterinary, Animal General. (Which by the way is an amazing place as well) I decided to take her to Bond Vet to get a second opinion on some concerns and truth be told this won’t be the last time she will be seen here . They are very thorough and talk you through every aspect of the examination without rushing you. They tell you if they find any abnormalities, and they seem to really care about your pets. More importantly, they tell you what they’re charging you for before they charge you - this is RARE for vets that often want to squeeze every cent out of you. They also don’t seem to recommend anything unnecessary in terms of tests/shots. Other vets encourage shots and tests that inflate your bill just to make an extra buck. Highly recommend this place!

Great service. We were concerned because our corso wasn't feeling well. We wanted to get him seen as soon as possible. Bond Vet gave us an appointment to go within 2 hrs. When we got there, he was taken inside and was seen by Dr. Thomasch. She was very kind and helped us understand what was wrong with our dog. She was thorough and informative. My dog had diarrhea for more than one day(I tired natural remedies before considering the vet) My normal vet could not take me until the next day. I could not wait until the next day. I was able to get a 4:20pm appointment the same day, at the Upper East side location. Bond-vet took away my worries, I was able to walk away with medication for my dog. The next day I was able to get rest due to my dog waking up needing to pass his stool. My dog was also able to get a great night rest instead of waiting for the next following day. That’s if I had waited on my normal vet. FYI:Keep in mind that you will have to give your dog to the nurse, you will have to sit outside, and wait for the doctor to contact you via phone due to covid. I was nervous at first about the whole set up but I felt that my dog was in good hands.

The vet was more then able to diagnose what was wrong with my cat and explained everything and answered all my questions. The price is reasonable can’t argue with the care they provide your pet with. They were also gentle with him when it came to starting his treatment, which involved cold ear drops in his ears, his medication has to be kept cold and with him being a cat that isn’t a easy task but they were really good with him. I first came to Bond Vet on the east side in December 2020 , my mothers' dog Taylor was gravely ill . I knew at the time that the situation was not going to get better . The staff at Bond Vet let me in to a room . They examined Taylor and told me that the end was near , I could tell that she was in pain . I was up all night with her . I bought her for my mother years ago . Due to unforeseen circumstances my mother and Taylor have been staying with me . So this was such a hard decision for me to make . The staff let me stay for a long time while I decided what to do , they came in and checked on me and Taylor . Finally I looked at Taylor and she asked me to do the right thing for her , I called in the vet and they took Taylor out to prepare her . The doctor came in and started the end of life procedure . When Taylor passed they allowed me to stay in the room for what seemed like hours . They came in and asked if I was ok . When the time came for me to leave they couldn't have been more understanding and kind . I then had to decide if I wanted her ashes to be sent back to me . This took me about3 weeks to decide , they called a few times to ask if how I was doing and if I had any questions . No one rushed me to do anything I didn't want to do . They did not even ask for payment until I decided to have the ashes sent back to me . The place they sent Taylor to ( Abbey Glen ) was another great company . I received Taylor back to me in such a beautiful package, I have been to the best and well known vets in NYC over some time and none of them compare to the people that work at Bond Vet . Today I brought my dog Madison there for the 1st time for her shots . Again they are so fabulous ! I left Madison there and was on line at Whole Foods when I received a call asking me questions about Madison. They spoke to me for about 20 minutes . No rushing ! She did what she could but decided Toby should see an eye doctor right away. We visited Bond Vet UES with our 11 year old cat tonight at 8:40pm (booked online only 30 mins beforehand!). The clinic is very clean, both pet and human friendly. We saw Dr. Davis and she's the nicest and most patient vet doctor we've ever met. She made sure to address all of our questions and concerns - she even helped to calculate how much calories our cat needs per day based on her current weight and food brand! We often felt rushed at our previous vets, but here at Bond Vet we had plenty of time to discuss our cat's health to details with both Dr. Davis and her nurse. Our cat was treated in an extremely gentle and caring manner from the beginning to the end, with lots of treats and complements of course. They are very transparent with their fees, they tell you how much each service/item costs before you can make your decision. Highly recommend!

My dog was behaving abnormally this morning into the afternoon, not eating or drinking and overall lethargic. I decided to take him to a vet just to make sure there wasn’t anything serious going on. I remembered Bond Vet has late hours and are open everyday so I was able to find an available appointment the same day. The staff was very friendly; the doctor, who I only spoke with over the phone due to COVID, explained everything including options for treatment to me. Turns out my dog was dehydrated. Perhaps he had an upset stomach but he’s fine now. I’m grateful Bond exists because I don’t know what else I would have done as we don’t have a regular vet. We do now, with Bond Vet.

I give them a 5 star. Everyone there was so helpful in determining the status of my puppy. I got all the information I needed, every question answered, and they are so nice to me and my fur baby. I would definitely recommend. The place is cozy with a modern feel to it, and they saw us even late, with no appointment, with the emergency we had it was so convenient. We recently had our 2 puppies spayed and neutered there. I was in contact with the Surgery Concierge Debbie weeks before they were even ready for surgery. She answered all my questions, made me feel comfortable with their surgery details. Leading up to their surgery, the team followed up with me again and reassured me my babies would be OK. The drop off at 9am was seamless (I cried). They called and texted me throughout the day and when it was finally ready to pick them up, they came out with a goodie bag and certificate of bravery! What a lovely touch! I would recommend BondVet to anyone that's not 110% in love with their vet and/or want a better/different experience. They are true to their mission. I had previously taken my dog to a vet that cost $100 and a migraine to get in the door. During the COVID-19 lockdown my dog became ill and it was next to impossible to get into my “normal” vet. I decided to give Bond a try and I will never look back. Not only did they quickly devise a safe and responsible system for great vet care during the challenging restrictions from the lockdown, they were so wonderful to my dog. They explain everything before they perform tests/exams and give you the costs upfront, without the owner having to awkwardly and sheepishly ask for costs. They’re very understanding and respectful if you decline a service. My dog is an anxious pet goer and he does so well in their care, even when I’m unable to be with him because of COVID restrictions. You get a printed and emailed copy of the invoice and detailed medical record after every visit, without having to ask and call and follow up a million times like at other facilities. I would highly recommend Bond Vet to any pet owner— they are more affordable than other practices in the area, more professional and friendly, efficient, and exude energy of caring for the animals. I can’t say I can’t wait to take my dog back (no one likes a sick dog...!), but I know that when I do have to take him back he’s in the best hands.

Great conversation with Dr. Austin about my kitten’s first visit. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because when I got there, I was told the doctor would call me very shortly; I didn’t get a call until 45 mins later. I didn’t mind waiting, I understand it’s a busy location and I’m a medical professional myself so I get that there can be delays, but I would’ve appreciated a call telling me what was going on. We traveled almost an hour from the Bronx because someone recommended this place for our scared rescue pittie. We were not disappointed. In all my years of having dogs, this is the best vet we’ve been to. The whole staff truly cares about the animals in their care and are able to customize their approach to different dogs. Ours has usually been shaking and whimpering and trying to run away at any vet we’ve seen, resulting in them being forceful and holding her down, making things worse. At Bond Vet, Dr. McLaughlin and the nurse, Rafael, and another assistant I unfortunately can’t remember the name of, all approached our dog like a child. They got to know her before starting to prod her, weigh her and feel her, gave her tons of treats and got her super happy and excited. I’ve never seen our dog so relaxed and happy at the vet - for the most part, she thought it was fun. She loved the vet so much that as soon as she left the room, she was trying to run after her. They were able to do her blood tests and testing of a swollen lymph node on the floor, which further relaxed her a lot. It was really touching to see how our dog transformed in their care, and this demonstrated to us how it is often human behavior that brings out the fearful behavior in our dog - it’s not just her. In addition to all this, the medical care they provided was excellent and thorough, and they were also being sensitive to the costs with us and walked us through everything. We are feeling really at ease that we have this place to go now no matter what happens to our fur baby. Even though it’s far away, we will make the trip. Thanks to everyone for being so kind to her, and us. P.s the premises are also really clean and tastefully decorated AND she got a ball for her good behavior just like at a pediatrician :-D

We brought Charlie, our 17 year old cat to Bond Pet because he wasn't eating. They gave him excellent diagonsic care. The vet was very kind and explained very clearly what the best treatment was for him. We did need to take him over to AMC for additional overnight IV treatment for his symptoms. After three days he is home and so much better. I highly recommend Bond Vet we were also able to make an appointment to see doctor that same day. Our regular vet office doesn't have emergency appointments, I am done with them.

It was very convenient to book an appointment since they have availability and they are open late . The doctor listened to all my questions and concerns . My cat has been coughing / hacking and she gave me an option of either putting him on antibotics for 14 days or getting a chest X-ray to see if there was an underlying condition. I went the route of the 2 week antibotic treatment to see how he will do and if it doesn’t help then will get the chest X-ray . They were upfront about the costs of the exam and medicine . Everyone was very professional.

Our Zoey had a ruptured cyst on her abdomen. I came across ads for Bond Vet and had a gut feeling that this was the place to bring her for an exam and among reading all the great reviews and staff bio, I am truly happy that we made that decision! As soon as we walked in, the staff greeted us with a warm smile, it's really clean and very neat. They have treats for your pet (which helped out Zoey through her exam) she can be a little feisty and have some anxiety, but they made her feel comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable and explain accessment and fees thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this location of Bond Vet. It took us an hour bus ride to get there from home, but absolutely worth it! This is our go to vet for our Zoey from now on. Thank you!

I have an extremely skittish and sometimes difficult Shiba Inu puppy. The people at Bond take excellent care of him. Even for drop-box appointments he never comes back traumatized. They take time to explain the proceedures and costs so you understand exactly what you're agreeing to and the possible outcomes of treatment. I don't think I would trust anyone else with my dog.

Our puppy, Rio, was having a GI problem over the weekend and after monitoring the issue for a day, we decided to see a vet. The vet we'd previously seen after adopting him told us they couldn't see our little guy until *the end of the week*! We immediately called Bond Vet and they were able to squeeze us in WITHIN THE HOUR and put our minds at ease. Everyone we spoke with on the phone, in -person, and over email was incredibly sweet , understanding, professional, and helpful. Moreover, Bond Vet's app made the process so much more efficient and convenient. Once we got there, the office had a tented outdoor seating area that made waiting outside in the heat, a little more bearable. It's safe to say we'll be bringing Rio here for his exams, etc. from now on!

The best vet I’ve ever visited In the city. The facility is super clean, staff is very nice and friendly, but most importantly, the nurse and the doctor treated our dog chewy so well. We took chewy here for his skin problem that persisted for over half year and getting worse and worse, because multiple other vets we visited only gave him some mysterious shots, did multiple bloodwork and none of them helped him get better (and costed a lot of money). At Bond Vet, they asked a bunch of questions about him and examined his skin very thoroughly. Didn’t give me definite answer till they got the result from testing etc. When he gets little nervous on the board he explains what is happening and let him smell the tools, so he is calmed down again. The doctor prescribed the shampoo, antibiotics, ear cleaning and medication, and anti itchy shot so he will not scratch himself. I used the shampoo after I got home and did exactly what he told me to do. This morning, chewy clearly seems so much happier and I cannot explain how much it makes us happier as well. I recommend this vet to anyone who has not so good experience at other vets.

I wanted to check out this vet after seeing so many good things about it online, from it being a modern start up starting in Brooklyn to the super cool opening party they had that my friend went to. It feels like an urgent care for pets but so much more. The aesthetic is so on point that it is essentially an Instagrammable veterinary office. Although my dog was too unwell to eat the free treats provided, I still appreciate it being available to us. We were a bit stumped how to get water for ourselves but I’m sure the friendly staff up front would have gladly helped us if we asked. My dog was really sick and they explained everything they recommended to us. I didn’t feel pressured to get everything and overall we stayed within our price range while feeling like we did what we could to help our dog feel better. Everything was very clean and I didn’t feel ripped off afterwards. I think we finally found our regular vet for our fur baby!

Our dog Charlie was having some sort of allergic reaction late on a Friday night and we rushed him over to Bond to get checked out. The staff was nothing short of incredible. They saw us right away and explained everything as it was happening. They gave Charlie some Benadryl and medication for his eye, which he had inadvertently scratched. It’s about a week later now and he is doing great. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be taking Charlie here again if need be, though we hope we don’t have to!

We came in for an emergency visit and were seen right away (on a weekend in the middle of the day). Between the visit, medications, and bloodwork, everything came out to under $250! I was shocked at how reasonable this vet bill was. The staff was so accommodating and the vet was very informative and so sweet. Even with us waiting in the car during the checkup (covid-19 rules), we were made aware of what was going on via phone every step of the way. This visit makes me wish we lived in Manhattan so we could keep coming to this location!

I typically go to the Cobble Hill location, but I took my kitten here since they had sooner availability for Spay surgery. They told me upfront that the spay would be $750 for my kitten which includes everything - medication (which comes into play later), cone, etc (which is a lot... humane society does it for about $100 +$25 for all medication...). But we did it anyway since we needed the spay done sooner than later. I paid in two payments, one over the phone and then the remaining when I dropped her off. They called to let me know she would be ready around 5pm for pickup but the soonest I could get there was 6 and they said it was fine. I showed up at 6 and they said she would be right out. But over the course of an **hour** they brought me a packet to read and her medication. Waiting for an hour was a bit tedious... but that’s fine. What was REALLY strange was when they brought me the medication they said “Okay and now we will just take your credit card for the remaining balance.” I said “what? I already paid the remaining balance when I dropped her off this morning?” They said “well, one of the medications we gave you wasn’t paid for yet.” But... when I was given the quote they said the $750 included ALL medication.. so I told her that. And she said “well, there is one medication we gave you (pill form) and that’s included. But the opioid (syringe form) is just strongly recommended by the vet. It’s an additional $87.” I found this very odd and as if they were pulling heart strings to get extra money. Of course I want to do what’s best for my pet! $87 might not seem like a lot but it’s more of the principle that bothered me. They handed me the medication before even telling me I had to pay for it. So, that left a sour taste in my mouth. But one of the nurses came out and was very helpful about the situation. I can’t remember her name but I appreciate her being so accommodating. 💕 they brought me my kitty and when I peaked inside her carrier, her right arm was drenched in blood. I almost fainted. My kitten was panicking and I started to panic. I asked the nurse to take a look and she said “oh so sorry, let me take her back and clean her up!” But holy cow... I almost started to cry... seeing my kitty covered in blood is the last thing I want to see 😭 While I was waiting for an hour, I got to watch the lady at the front desk. She was very flustered and it showed with all people she met with/spoke with in the phones. It’s important to remember that patients who walk through your door are probably already stressed about their pets. It’s your job to make them feel more at ease and welcome! Not an inconvenience no matter how busy you are.
