The two vet technicians helping me and Poppy at her first appointment were absolutely wonderful! They were caring with my scared puppy and cleaned up after her accident with grace. They were knowledgeable and helped me and Poppy out to the car when all was said and done. Highly recommend this veterinarian office. Clean and put together office with bill payment in the exam room, very convenient. Veterinarian was helpful and kind.

Excellence all round - would highly recommend. My dog had been having diarrhea for five days, and we called several vets closer to us first but none could get us in for weeks. Lynn Animal Hospital got us in the very next day, a Friday. Even on the phone they were polite and cheerful. When we arrived, we were seen within ten minutes by kind and attentive staff. The vet went over her treatment plan and its prices before anything was done. Tests had to be sent out, but we got fecal results the next day via text and the vet called with the lab work results and to check up on our fuzzy patient the following Monday. I would absolutely go back.

The staff was very helpful when I called to make an appointment for my 2 cats, and an online profile gets created where you can access all the information. The veterinarian who gave my cats their exam was very knowledgeable and was great at explaining things to first- time pet owners such as my husband and I. The front staff, vet tech, and Dr. G are beyond what I would hope for in care! My kitty is not doing well after getting fleas and scratching herself raw. They were so gentle and answered a million questions I had with sooo much patience. They created a plan to get her better and made sure that I understood every part of it. I've been taking my two dogs to Lynn Hospital since September 2021. The staff is professional, friendly, and compassionate. Dr. Carman is very personable, knowledgeable, and being a new client, made me feel at ease answering all of my questions with genuine care and understanding. The care my pets have received thus far has been OUTSTANDING and the prices are reasonable! My pet’s regular vet retired. My pet had an emergency and I needed to find a vet quickly. I had no prior experience with this facility, and chose Lynn Animal Hospital based solely on the mostly good reviews I saw online. The vet that saw my pet was friendly and knowledgeable. This vet sent my pet home with medications explaining it would be for the lifetime of my pet. Due to the nature of my pet’s illness, I was looking forward to hopefully a long and friendly relationship with this facility and made another appointment. Shortly after that, I received a call from them to reschedule the appointment, which wasn’t a problem. I soon realized that my pet was initially given enough meds to last until the original appointment date, but would not have enough of the needed meds to last until that appointment (which had been rescheduled by them.) I called to ask if they would provide the necessary medication to cover until the next appointment which any prescription should do. And was told there would be a charge. Needless to say I am quite disappointed that this decision was based on $12.00 or less for the 7 pills it would have cost them to compensate for their change. Clearly this decision was not based on the compassionate care they claim to have. However, as the vet that saw my pet was kind and familiar with my pet in making the diagnosis. And as I tend to be a loyal committed patron for my pet’s health I will return. But as far as satisfied with their decision to fore-go positive customer relations, I’ll share this story. And for this, not so people friendly reason, I would not recommend Lynn Animal Hospital. The vet was good, but good customer service matters too. (Giving 3 stars is me being compassionate)

Dr Frugees has been thoughtful and thorough in his care of my cat. He always gets back to me quickly. He discusses everything thoroughly and makes sure all my questions are answer. He covers all the possibilities and options.

My dog was able to warm up to the doctors really fast in her first visit. The service is very good! The nurses and doctors are very nice with my dog and me. And the prices are pretty reasonably good.

Our family has been using Lynn Animal Hospital for three generations. Many of my neighbors now take their pets here from my recommendations. The vets are the best. My neighbors say more affordable than their previous vets also. I have brought dogs,cats, birds, turtles, Guinea pigs,and hamsters here. Everyone is so patient and caring. Highly recommend.

The staff and vets are always wonderful and kind to our pup, but somehow I always end up waiting 30+ minutes for my appointments, which gives me less incentive to arrive 5-10 minutes early the way they request. My dog also starts to panic a little when we are sitting in the car for that long. Last year for our wellness checkup, it was that they were running behind. This year the issue was that their system was down. If the check in process were more efficient I’d be happy to give 5 stars.

Dr. Carman was incredibly patient and kind in navigating us through unexpectedly having to put down our beloved cat who was only about 6 years old. He didn't rush me off the phone and took time to answer all of my questions and offer options that clearly were focused on the well-being of our pet and not the clinic's bottom line. I appreciated his guidance in making such a difficult decision. Staff at Lynn have always been kind and gentle in dealing with our cats. The front desk can be a little hectic but they're dealing with a lot and we've never had an issue.

A friend of ours recommended Lynn and we were not disappointed. In fact, we were being pleased with our service. They got us in for both of our fur babies immediately and the intake staff greeted us warmly in their parking lot. Dr. Stancliff was effusive about our pets which is always nice to hear someone thinks your babies are as cute as you think they are. She was also informative and took her time explaining about my senior dog’s heart and made me feel good about his care moving forward. My dog Lexi is my first ever puppy! Upon getting her, I was pretty overwhelmed with the fact that most of the vets near me couldn’t take her in as a new patient due to COVID concerns. But not Lynn Animal Hospital! Despite the fact that they can be busy due to the pandemic and new changes, they always manage to fit her in their schedule when it comes to appointments and emergencies. They’re very receptive to all of my questions and very patient with my nervous pup. I will always be forever grateful to Dr. Fruges (also special shout out to Gayle! 2/11/22 Visit for my cats, both patients of record for their annual exam and vaccinations. The doctor was running late with an emergency patient, so staff called me well before the appointment time to give me an option to arrive later or see a different vet. It was well handled. The operation is smooth, arrive in the parking lot, call the office to let them know you arrived. Tech calls back to get details on pets, then they come to the car to pick up the pets for the exam. When the doctor is finished, they call you to discuss. A separate phone hand-off is made for credit card payment and a tech returns the pets to your car.

Lynn Animal hospital is reliable and responsive. I’m a newish patient and I was impressed with how quick they were able to get us in when we needed an urgent appointment. I always appreciate the quick email responses too. We recently switched to Lynn from another one not too far away, that I had been going to for over 10 years. If in doubt, give Lynn a try. I highly recommend Lynn Animal Hospital! Their front desk/admin staff are amazing. We also did not feel pressured to buy things, and I thought the cost was very reasonable.

These people are so knowledgeable and compassionate, I'm so grateful for their care for my animals. I have taken my dog and cat to them for routine care, and a fairly serious injury for my dog, and each time the vets gave me reasonable advice and medical care. I don't take for granted that vet visits are expensive, so I do have Embrace Pet insurance (for injuries), Wagmo (wellness plan), and care credit--something for all pet owners to consider, the best way to manage vet bills. The staff here were very up front about what everything was going to cost too.

Excellent care for your pet. I've been taking my dog to Lynn Animal Hospital for five years. Dr. Carman always provides honest and sound advice. The facility is clean. They also have a good traffic flow to minimize pet to pet contact, if you pet is overeager/afraid of other pets. Update: the prices have risen dramatically! The care is wonderful but the fees have become nearly prohibitive.

It's immediately clear that the staff at Lynn Animal Hospital care deeply for the animals. My kitty had an urgent issue, and the receptionist went above and beyond to squeeze in an appointment for my cat the same day that I called, despite being booked until Thanksgiving. The vet techs and vet himself have also been not only professional, but empathetic. The hospital has a warm vibe to it, which, urgent care aside, was something that I was hoping for when considering finding a vet when I moved to this area. I normally don't write reviews for businesses but this was deserving because I have been looking for a new vet for over a year. The reviews I read for LAH led me to choose this vet over 6 others in the area. Although there was some confusion with my initial appointment, possibly a misunderstanding on my part, I contacted the vet the following day and they were extremely helpful. We were able to resolve the misunderstanding and they were able to squeeze me in the next day for a quick visit. I took my cat in for a visit today and I was EXTREMELY pleased. The customer service was great and the staff was very friendly. The doctor was AMAZING! She was very gentle with my cat and especially when she did the physical exam. My cat did not hiss or bite or try to run away. I couldn't believe how comfortable my cat especially after being traumatized by her last visit at another vet to the point where she was handled roughly, meowed loudly and visibly in distress. Today's visit was short and sweet. It went smoothly and we were able to get the medication my cat needed. I highly recommend LAH.

I recently got my first dog on my own and looked at veterinary hospitals in the area. Lynn Animal Hospital had great reviews and was located right in Riverdale which is very convenient for me personally. They were able to fit my puppy in for a same day appointment to evaluate a possible ear infection which was super helpful as a new dog mom! We’ve been there three times total and couldn’t be happier, the staff is very friendly and gentle with animals and very receptive to any questions or concerns you have. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality and professional vet!

I would like to thank Dr. Stancliff. She figured out that our dog had Addison's disease when he wasn't presenting the classic symptoms of the disease. Instead he had a lot of vague, seemingly unrelated symptoms . We are really thankful she figured it out and has put him on some medications to help him be more healthy!

It was a long wait to get a new patient appointment, but it's obviously because it's so worth the wait! I can't remember everyone's names, but from start to finish our appointment was seamless and Moose was so comfortable with their entire team. A very good experience. My little cat, Peggy Sue, is very skittish, and I told the Vet Technician, Sam, that she probably would run as soon as we got her out of her carrier. I was wrong. The entire team that I spoke with before and during my kitten's (Maguire) first exam was awesome. The doctor and techs made sure I was thoroughly informed of what was occurring, care package plan and next steps. COVID has made things so impersonal. We are so grateful for the care we receive.(Ace is now 2 years old) Post when Ace was a year old: I have to truly say that I am BEYOND impressed with the care and love my dog receives at Lynn Animal Hospital. I have had my puppy since he was 8 weeks old. The doctors, techs and staff have been incredible in providing him optimal care. He is now a year old and was neutered by Dr. Frost. She is diligent, highly skilled and extremely kind. My puppy is recovering very well. Prior to the surgery, I was called by one of the staff members to remind me of his appointment. She helped ease my anxiety about the procedure and answered my questions. Ace has been seen by every doctor there, and they're all wonderful. The prices are excellent! The staff at Lynn Animal Hospital are a blessing to my sweet pup and family!

I just want to leave the HIGHEST review for this clinic. I am currently traveling in Ghana,Africa and the bed and breakfast I am staying at host’s family dog collapsed in the night and she was having extreme convulsions and was unresponsive- they were very afraid and everyone was crying because the vet was closed and they thought the dog was dying. I called Lynn Hospital, explained I was in Africa and I needed help-they showed immediate concern, even had me send over a video. They explained it was a seizure, which brought so much calmness to the family. The dog pulled through the seizure and we have it comfortable like you said and will take it in the morning to get it seen. Thank you so much for caring for a dog (sammie) in another country.

Good enough care but seems very unorganized. They have had me take a $40 round trip ride share because they couldn’t find my dog’s tumor, and on a separate occasion had me return because they didn’t take enough blood for all the needed blood work. They are generally pleasant and responsive but the lack of efficiency does impact us and is not acknowledged.

I have been very satisfied with this practice for 25 years, so haven’t comparison shopped. Appointment times for routine care may need to be requested about a month ahead, but they reserve some time for urgent care.

I have two older cats who have been going to Lynn Animal Hospital since I moved here in 2012. Between Dr. Carman and Dr. Christina Stancliff-Lubow, there could not be a better team taking care of your pet's needs. Like Dr. Carman, Dr. Stancliff-Lubow talks with you, not at you, and explains things in terms that can be understood. During my most recent visit, Dr. Stancliff-Lubow discussed options with me regarding my oldest cat who is now over 15 years old. She did an outstanding job presenting options while at the same time understanding my view and thoughts on those options. I highly recommend either Dr. Carman or Dr. Stancliff-Lubow. Both love their job, they love our furry friends, and they are also very good with the furless beings that bring their furry friends in for care.

Our dog was brought in to Lynn for a follow up check after being seen for an accident. Without checking with us, They performed a test for intestinal parasites that was completely unnecessary and irrelevant to his follow up. We were charged nearly 50 bucks for an unnecessary procedure that was not mentioned to us beforehand. We are very irritated 😠 Please note that very shortly after communicating to Lynn regarding our complaint, a manager called to explain what had happened and why, and to set things right for us going forward with future care visits for our pooch. We are quite pleased by Lynn’s responsiveness and professionalism.

Lynn Animal Hospital is doing a great job. It is difficult during covid not to be able to go in with your pet. They have set up a good system though, of calling when you arrive. Numbering parking space. All the workers were very loving and kind. They also sent a picture of the dog in the examining room. I thought that was a nice little detail. Dr. Carmen called after the exam to explain how the exam had gone and to see if I had any questions. We have been using Lynn for 30 years and have always trusted the good care we receive.

Dr Carman is excellent! We've been taking our cats to him for a couple of decades. He explains things to us thoroughly, outlines our options from the least expensive / aggressive to the most, and makes his recommendation about which he would advise but leaves the decisions up to us. He's not only knowledgeable and up-to-date on current research, but his decades in the field allow him to draw from a large archive of first-hand experience. He has treated several of our cats through terminal illnesses and has helped us make the right choices every step of the way, including performing euthanasia in a compassionate and caring way when that time arrives. The staff is also great!

I took my cat to them for about 3 years. My honest review is not as glowing as the rest. As someone else mentioned, the reception person can be rude at times and seems annoyed for simply asking a question. I pay them nice money whenever I take my pet in, so having my questions answered with a bit of respect seems like a reasonable expectation. It was also a pain to have them effectively communicate with Chewy regarding prescription food they recommended (I say this based on past experience with a different clinic that sent the prescription to Chewy immediately and I had my order in without issues). When my cat had diarrhea that medication had no effect on, they were only able to see her for an ultrasound over 3 weeks out (despite the ongoing diarrhea and lack of medication effect on it); that to me seemed off because they had been treating her for the diarrhea, so the need for an ultrasound didn't come out of nowhere. When you get to talk to the vet, indeed, she is nice and very thorough, however, everything else beyond that had me decide to switch clinics.

Lynn Animal Hospital took us in right before they closed on the Saturday, and Dr. Frost and the assistants were very helpful and kind. A new antibiotic shot was given that works for ten days to clear the infection. No more trying to give pills or liquids to a cat that won’t have any of it. The very next day I was very concerned that he could be gravely ill so I called Lynn Animal Hospital to see if they had availability to see him. Thankfully there was an opening that very afternoon and the friendly and patient staff examined and checked Rocky out. Dr. R presented us with several options for treatment/plans, gave her opinion, and then allowed us to make our own decision on what to do. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had in any kind of medical setting. Lynn animal hospital has been our vet since we moved here 13 years ago. Dr. Carman takes the time to explain what's going on, and go through options, costs, etc. He extended and improved the quality of our 17 year old cat's life (hyperthyroid, heart problems, and a painful blood clot) through attentive fine-tuning of meds, even finding a source for topical thyroid meds when the pills wouldn't go down anymore. And while it was expensive, upon his recommendation we had him remove 9 broken teeth (!) from our younger ex-feral when he first adopted us, with great results (eliminated bad breath and pain, much happier and more social cat). highly recommend.

I can't speak more highly of the staff at Lynn Animal Hospital. On June 8th, my wife and I adopted an 8 week old kitten named Jade. From the first visit, we were thrilled with the level of communication from the staff. Everyone was friendly, and Dr. Carman walked us through the necessary schedule of vaccinations for kittens. He prescribed an antibiotic and some eye ointment to clear up an upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis that Jade had contracted prior to us adopting her. I wish I could say that thing turned out in the long run, but on June 18th, we woke up to find Jade very ill. We rushed her to Lynn Animal Hospital and into the care of Dr. Stancliff-Lubow. Jade was quickly diagnosed with FIP, and we ended up putting her to sleep shortly thereafter. Despite how it turned out, I am incredibly impressed by the experience we had with Lynn Animal Hospital. The compassion and patience from the staff the morning we put Jade down was, in a word, incredible. I should note, that morning the staff arrived to find a burst pipe in their bathroom which had flooded a portion of the building. You wouldn't know it from the experience we had.
