I was so happy with the start to finish process of having my dog spayed. The entire staff was well-organized, prepared, friendly, and very helpful. I couldn't believe they even took the time to clip her nails as a courtesy. I was so impressed how they managed so many pets that day.

What an amazing place! I’ve had two dogs spayed here and also four stray cats so far on their Spay Day every second Monday of every month. (Only $10 for stray cats on those days) what an amazing thing they do! They are so affordable and really show care and passion. They really know what they are doing when it comes to spaying. I trust them. The facility is clean and the employees are always so kind. I try to recommend this place to everyone when it comes to your pets and affordable care. The new building is located in the Carollwood area I believe, tucked back behind some other buildings. It’s spacious and I love the office cat!

I loved coming here, the office kitties are adorable and the people working the front desk were wonderful and really nice. Check in went quick and easy, pick up was a little delayed but I really didn't mind, they had a lot of patients so it was understandable. The kitties kept us all company which was nice and the ladies were quick to inform everyone what was happening and get everyone out quickly. I'll be coming back in the future if my cats end up needing anything. :)

I was skeptical at first of all brain games My Husky into a clinic, but a neighbor gave me a paper and told me that the people at the Animal Coalition of Tampa sincerely love dogs and animals. It was the first check-up I've had in years and I was low on money but they were able to or work a deal so that my Siberian Husky, kilo, can get the proper shots he needs along with bravecto to rid him of his fleas. I will be going to them from now on with any animal I ever decide to own!

I took my kitten here to get spayed back in April they were awesome and I wish they were the first vet I had chosen super friendly and helpful and they give back to the community by helping with the low cost spay and neuter on spays. I just recently found a 3 week old kitten running across 8 lanes of traffic and will be taking her here for all of her visits as well wish I could give more stars this place is great (and their office kitty's are super cute)

We took a stray kitten with a bad infection. You wait outside until your number is called, so hot days can be hard, but typically it's nice to be in the fresh air. Their prices are affordable and the care was good! I think we managed to save her eye too! Thanks,ACT

We brought our Shiba Inu here to be neutered. We got there around 730am, waited about half an hour for them to call him back, but he was ready to come home at about 4pm the same. The price was excellent and we were able to get him pain killers.

The wait times are long but this is the only place im willing to bring my dog. they do not overcharge first and foremost. the medicine they sell you is cheaper that anywhere else you can get it including retail stores and they actually care about your pet not your payment. i waited a couple hours for my appointment but id gladly wait more for people that care that much

Such a caring people. God bless their ❤ hearts. My little doggy got spayed there a week ago. Very cheap price. Only hundred something. We left her leash and her tag there accidentally, and the lady called me and offered me that she can mail me the leash since we live so far away. I kindly declined her suggestion and told her I will get her new ones. She was one of those sweet and genuine person with big heart. VERY KIND LADY! ACT is my go-to clinic for all my pet's needs. I've been taking my Yorkie🐾🐾since he was 6 mos old. He'll soon be 8 on June 6th.. so we definitely hv history there. I was surprised that they no longer offer Trifexus, but was offered a medication that saved me abt 40 bucks! In additionon: Staff is great, friendly, and very knowledgeable. -No regrets.

I read a lot of bad reviews lately, but I think people don't have patience or something You can now make appointments online once again, anything you need to communicate must be done thru text, if you call its likely they wont answer. When I got there I was there 15min before my appointment time. There were 2 people waiting ahead of me, and I had to wait in the outdoors waiting area. It was a chill day so it wasn't hot nor cold if you're worried about waiting outdoors. I was given a chart about 10min into my appointment. After about 5min they came to take my two cats. After 5 more minutes one cat was given back to me, and 5 min later, the other was given to me once my payment went thru. It was super fast. I couldn't go in with my cats but it's fine. I didn't notice anything weird about them and they weren't acting unusual either, so I trust they were treated very well. I will be coming back. Thank you for the great service ! :)

This place has always been amazing to us, we have had all of our cats and recently our dog spayed/neutered here. They have always been the best to us and our furry friends. The drive here from Ruskin can be a little difficult in the new location, but it’s worth it for the care, quality and prices.

One time they forgot to add the rabies form to my checkout packet, and I received a copy by email, but then they also mailed me a signed copy without me asking! Wonderful place. Let me add that it's easier to communicate via text with them at the number they have listed here. Which is fine and I think it's better! Just a friendly heads up for anyone reading the reviews!

They allow people of modest income to own a dog or cat and provide excellent health care. Most people of modest means can't afford to pay for Vet care at today's prices. Bless these wonderful people for the work they perform. Today, I took my dog for her check up and vaccines. They charge modest prices and give quality care. I also medication for her there. The Vet and all other people working there are caring wonderful professionals. They also have appointments and walk ins are accepted.

They did good on the suturing.my dog healed well. HOWEVER, we had made an appointment for 8 am, then got called the day before to switch it to 11:30. When we got there at 11:20 they were all in a meeting upstairs and ignored my husband standing outside for 20 minutes. Finally someone came down and rudely told him they were in a meeting and to come back at one. We were not the only people waiting, there were about a dozen cars outside waiting to be let in at 11:30. Very annoying. just be ready for scheduling issues.

Animal Coalition of Tampa is great! The vets and every other person working here really seems to care about your animals. I've taken quite a few community cats here for their "spa day" for TNVR. Every single cat I've picked up from them is nicely eartipped, cleaned off, vaccinated, and neutered or spayed. Every cat is living their lives without making babies and fighting. They're all happy cats. I've taken my pets here as well and they all have came back to me happy, healthy, and clean.

Very helpful and friendly. Did exactly what we needed for our doggies. Edit: A year later, arrived before 10, which was my appointment time, waited till 11 to be called, vet seen the dog for about 5 minutes, and then waited another hour for the paperwork to leave. Do not plan anything after the appointment and maybe bring snacks or eat before you go.

We have been bringing our little girl here and really like Dr. Wagner. She is very sweet and cares a lot for our Ruby. She had surgery today and even though we didn’t get to meet the surgeon whom I think is Dr. Cox we think he did a fantastic job and showed he cared for our little girl. The girl who checked her in this morning was very sweet and professional. Karina who checked us out was very nice and professional as well. I want to also compliment Michelle who was the nurse in Ruby’s surgery. She was very nice and helpful. She really went out of her way for Ruby and she definitely loves animals. It is obvious that all of the people I mentioned love animals. They showed a lot of care and concern for our girl. To top it off they are priced very competitive. I just want to commend the staff that helped me get my two girls vaccinated today. My cat gets kicked out of local vet offices for her bad attitude so I always have to bring her here to get her yearly vaccines. The staff had great personalities and were hilarious, even though she tried to kill them. Great experience and great prices. I definitely recommend.

We first discovered this place for Giving Tuesday in the holiday season. We read about all the good they do and services they provide (at an affordable rate) and we decided to donate to a good cause. Then, when the time came to take our dog for her annual shots, we decided to visit. We showed up right when they opened and were probably third in line. The wait wasn't too long. When they took us back, the team was really professional and obviously cared about the well-being of our dog. They were efficient and ended with a treat for our pup! The only downside was the location and the reception area. The receptionists didn't have the greatest system of checking people in and out, but they were doing their best.

Brought my dog in to have her leg checked out and to have her shots up to date. I understand that it is a first come first serve but they are really slow with getting you into a room. I sat there for about an hour and a half before getting into a room. The people are really nice and for the price you can't beat it.

Very organized place because of covid of covid I have not been able to go inside with my dog you stay outside in the parking lot until you are cold last time I was there they gave you a restaurant buzzer and it buzzed when you were up. Love the new location. It is way more spacious than the previous area. The staff was super friendly to me and my two dogs (one of which is super crazy and the other lost her leash so kind of walked around to meet everyone). We only waited a little while before getting into a room and getting my dog's vaccines. I was in and out in under an hour and was even able to purchase all the preventatives for my pumps. The veterinarian was in surgery so he was unable to sign the rabies paper and I have to go back but I have to take my cat in soon so ilk just do it then.

This is a great place to go if you trap spay and neuter like me. The 2nd Monday of every month they run specials. I love a vet that helps out the community like that. Not many care enough to give up profits for the sake of the animals. They also have a very nice staff, which is also getting more rare these days.

Appointment is a must and well in advance. Make sure you are charged correctly for whatever package or individual shots you get. Good luck getting money back if they charge you wrong. It is an assembly line of animals in the morning at drop off and at pick up. I appreciate what they do and the prices are good but it's not a very personable experience.

They are amazing with my 3 yr old Bassett hound Daisy -we love the way they have cared for her, we had her spayed there and the Dr. was on point with her allergies, she wasted no time getting her allergy relief from the itching and the flare up in her skin. Great Experience! I have used ACT for both my dog and my new kitty and both visits were great. Considering the staff has to deal with several dogs and cats and their owners I say Job well done. They offer affordable options and most of the owners I talked to could not have afforded to treat (or spay /neuter) their pet without ACT. It is worth waiting your turn when you consider a Veterinary Practice is 4 times the money. Be patient and consider the money you save and that this group of people really seem to care about making a difference.

I couldn’t be more appreciative and pleased with this facility. Extremely well priced.... gets busy, but that should be expected with great prices and pleasant staff. Well worth it. Will never go to another vet. My kitty was experiencing dental complications and has his whole life. He had a tooth extracted and is back to his old self! We just had our 2 Male kittens neutered from here yesterday. The office staff were great, they were very organized even with many animals being dropped off and picked up. Everything was smooth. Our kittens are doing great and to our surprise they even have their toe nails trimmed! That was so nice of them to do. We have 2 more female kittens and a mommy we will be bringing back. No additional charges, only $10 for pain medication. This organization is wonderful for animal owners who can't afford $300 at a normal vet for neutering.

You know, for a "low cost" clinic, I've never felt like they treated me like someone poor. They spend time actually looking over and diagnosing my dog, give recommendations versus requirements, and help me cut costs where possible. I've been to so many vets where they keep adding on things we didn't need (he does not have fleas and we have a preventive and yet...) or tossing shampoos and things at me and ACT doesn't do that. They didn't even suggest a costlier treatment until I requested it. And considering the drop off going on now for COVID-19 prevention, they handled it really well. The only thing I'd suggest is making the check out process more clear, as that was a little confusing and led to a few people piling up which is what they don't want right now. Overall, a good experience and we'll definitely keep using them.

And the person that took care of us I don't believe was a real vet and was just a volunteer or vet student... He was very young and wasn't able to answer all my questions because he kept referring to his medical team... But he was very friendly and did his best and got the shots for my dog that I needed...

Good customer service, very reasonably priced, and they are very sweet with all the animals. I am about 45 minutes away from here, and and it was well worth the drive as opposed to the Paws clinic in Hudson which is only about 15 mins. Away from me. ACT actually has a website, and they even answer their phones! Things that Paws doesn't seem to do.

This is a very busy place. Great for discounted rates on vaccines, spade and nuetering. They are not a full service place. They diagnose but refer out for most everything else. They do require a credit card over the phone to hold your appointment. You cannot walk in and make an appointment and prepay with cash. It doesn't work that way. The people working at the desk don't make appointments. They hire a call service for that. So don't walk in there and give the receptionist a hard time because they have figured out a way to offer great service at a discounted rate. I'm so grateful this place exists.

Affordable animal care. I was hesitant to take my male kitten anywhere other than a "vet" to be neutered, however I was quoted $300+ elsewhere. Cost: I got my kitty neutered (43), rabies vaccine (25?), microchip (25) and painkillers (10) (optional post-surgery) for a total of $93.00. I believe low income families can request a voucher for a cheaper neuter. Make sure your vouchers are not expired as they had to turn some people away. Process: You need to call ahead to reserve a spot for your animal and put a down payment of $25. (This is taken off the total when you pay). It is not in the best area, and I was a bit "sketched out" of the building itself. However, I was entirely too quick to judge. The staff was really friendly, transparent, and helpful as it was my first time as a pet owner. I was entirely confident in the vets skills. I filled out a form, sat under a tent with a bunch of other people and their animals (cats in cages, small dogs in cages, big dogs on leashes) and waited for my name to be called. They gave him a makeshift collar, took me inside, took my kitty away and I paid. I had some questions for the vet, which he answered thoroughly, and they gave me a post-treatment paperwork. Drop off @ 8:30 (allow 45 minutes for check in process - timing is pretty flexible.. they don't call you up until you submit your sheet) Dog pick up at 4 Cat pick up at 4:30 THEY CLOSE AT 5 (there's a late fee) No food or water from 8:30pm the night before Cones only for dogs Optional painkillers for the animal are $10.

Great place! I just recently moved to Florida and I had to get my 9 year old Chihuahua registered and vaccinated. Thy did great with him! He's not much of a people person but they handled him really well. I even had them do his dental cleaning and they did great! Overall its a great place to take your pet! And the best part is its affordable! We do everything we can for our "babies" and they make taking good care of them possible!!

Back again in 2018, and once again ACT is the best and only vet I’ll ever take my animals to! Brought my cat in as an emergency walk-in with an ingrown claw that was badly bleeding. We got the same tech that treated his eye the last time and both Loki and I absolutely love her. Quick, professional, loving, and again- SUPER affordable. I moved to Clearwater and I still make the drive because I’ll never take my babies anywhere else. I've taken both my cat and dog here. I can't remember the doctors name, but she was a petite blonde and she was super helpful. My cat had a gastrointestinal infection and we didn't have an appointment but they still took us. The only thing I'd warn people of is the extremely long wait times. The first time I came I waited over 2 hours and the second time was over an hour even though I had an appointment. They're a not for profit, so it's very affordable, hence the overflow of people. I do think they try and do the best they can with what they have, I just wish scheduling was better managed.

If you are looking for reasonable, quality pet care this is a great option. I've had all four of my pets spayed/neutered here. They do full shot packages, dental care, and well/sick visits. The techs, vets, and office staff are extremely professional and care about the animals under their care.

I'm very disappointed in the new facility. When this place was on Lemon street I had the best service and the wait was not long at all. The staff at the front desk particularly one was very rude from the start. Then I asked for a buzzer so I could take my dog outside and she slammed the clipboard down like she was so bothered. The prices are good but I really miss the staff that cared on Lemon street. Definitely not the same experience. Then the ladys at the front desk was going back and forth with each other about who was going to lunch very loudly in front of customers. Unprofessional

This is a wonderful place. They saved my 8 year old baby girl Belle. The only thing I wish they would do is to let people know if you have Food stamps or Disability it's a $10.00 to $15.00 price to fix them. I payed over $500.00 to save her. She had pyromethi and the infection almost went into her pancreas. I truly understand they are a nonprofit organization. There are some people out there that really needs help. After my husband passed away my life fell apart, but life goes on. But the bottom line is they saved my sweet baby girl Belle, and for that I will always be grateful. After rescuing our dog from the shelter, we were left with a lot of tough financial choices for her as to where her care would be established. Because we didn’t know the history of our pet, we were referred to Animal Coalition of Tampa as a place to start. Since they run through volunteership and donations, they offer an excellent alternative for folks on a budget. Because so many people do go there, it’s a very fast paced experience and at times you don’t receive all the time and attention you need from a typical vet who would get to know your pet. It’s a trade off but overall they provide all the help they can and as quickly as they can. The staff there is super positive and very helpful. I would certainly recommend for anyone to start here if you haven’t yet committed to a vet practice.

I arrived right at 8:30 am and they neutered a male outside feral cat I had captured for re-release. I was extremely pleased with their caring and efficient staff and was able to pick up this cat at 4:30 pm same day. He's much happier and gentler now and that's what matters!

I took my one year old cat, Gus, here to get him neutered. I called the day before to see if I could get him in the next day and they scheduled me right in. You have to be there early (8:00) and pick them up around 5-5:30 so you can come before and after work. I had a low income spay/neuter voucher for $10 from Animal Services of Hillsborough and it worked perfectly! The staff was very nice and answered all of my questions when I went to go pick him up. After reading a few reviews of other places that take the voucher I realized this was the best place to go. I'm having my dog neutered here later this week.

They are moving to hopefully a nicer location but the service was excellent. I waited 3 hours at humane society and ended up walking out. ACT saw me within 15 minutes and did a nice job vaccinating my cat.

Nice people but I walked in at 3:12 to get my dog shots and I was told to leave because they stopped at 3 but on the Animal Coalition website it says they’re open for walk-ins till 3:30. Unfortunate that I have to drive 20 miles, there and back, again when I’m next available. 3 stars because at least they were nice and It’s clearly not the employees fault. It’s also in a very shady area and looks like a run down jail and seems to have no AC because I was sweating just standing inside.

Reasonable prices, caring staff, they really helped with my dog who resisted the vet examining him. He backed himself into the corner of the room and instead of stressing him out more, the vet left the room for awhile so we could try to lessen his anxiety.

The staff are great, very helpful and they took necessary precautions in the setting of a pandemic. All the staff wore facemasks, they frequently provided hand sanitizer, and everyone was outside. They also provided water bottles which was very kind given it was so hot. Affordable prices. You do have to set aside at least 2.5 hours (we were there for 3) because it is popular and first come, first serve basis.

Animal coalition has been great with my pets. Most affordable place around. They do a lot of charity work for animals ( very low cost spay) in order to cut down on all the homeless animals, or animals that keep reproducing and their young ends up in shelters. They are not like some of these big money veterinarians that only care about money. DO NOT LISTEN TO IDIOTS LEAVING 1 STAR, due to their own negligence for not researching the services offered at this establishment. The services they do offer, they are incredible at.

I love this place. No appointments necessary I can just stop in during clinic hours and get my dogs shots for very cheap. This is very convient and no exam fee. You can stop in whenever and pick up meds or they will send them to you. Very reasonable prices if you need to make an appointment for something else. They can get very busy but do a great job and keeping things flowing quickly. Everyone there really cares about the animals and are very friendly.

This is an inexpensive place to go when it's time to get your pet vaccinated. It's not the nicest looking place but the staff is friendly and they accept walk-ins. Their services are limited though to vaccinations only from what they told me so if your pet needs an exam or to be checked out, this isn't the place for that, which is fine just so long as you know that.

I was happy ..at first. Then I spoke with another facility about heartworm treatment and costs. Yes, it is cheaper with ACT..But.then I said I was shocked at how much I was charged for Doxycycline $111.00 for 180 100mg tabs. They immediately said that has to be a mistake. It only costs between $30-$40.00 for that many. I checked online, and yes... They were right. If this is a non profit, why are they charging so much for the medication? I understand if it was a mistake... But Wow... That's $70 I really couldn't afford, but my dog is like my child. I'm just very surprised that they are over charging people ...

Great staff and care for my kitty. Vet bill was going to be almost $500, but it only amounted to $130 here. This includes what I paid extra for with a microchip, pain meds, and an added fee for a testicle they found on his stomach. After calling many vets within a 20 mile radius to try to get my little sick dog seen, Not One vet (including the Humane Society) would see her without full payment. I was not asking for free services just to be billed until i received my Disability check on the 3rd. A Friend gave me the number to A.C.T. and even though they were very busy, they fit her in and the news was better then i expected and hopefully she is on her way to a quick recovery. I had a male and female puppy that needed to be fixed. My regular vet was going to be over $600. I heard about this place and had it done. The bill was$ 206 total. That included the 2 cones and pain meds. My pups are doing great! No problems at all.

I took my kitty here to get spayed. I called them on a Friday and was able to get her in that next Monday. There was only a short wait to get her checked in. I was able to pick her up later on that same day. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions! I'd recommend ACT to everyone!!!

I was a walk in emergency. Arrived at 9 am, waited about 1 hour, out the door by 11 am. Very fair wait for a walk in at such a busy place. Dr. Backus saw my aging dog, who has been having anxiety and confusion issues after a recent seizure. Dr. Backus was very caring and very sweet. My dog was absolutely terrified to be there, and she sat on the ground with my dog while she talked to me, and was very soothing. I could tell she genuinely cared. She listened to my concerns, ran some tests, prescribed some meds to help, and was very prompt in calling me and explaining the test results. The whole appointment only cost $118 which is so much less than I thought it would be. Can't thank Dr. Backus and the staff at animal coalition of tampa enough. You do great work and I'm so glad you are in our community.

I wanted to get my kitten fixed and called many places the day before and they were the only place that had availabillity (which I was surprised ANYONE would have availability). The place is sort of hard to find and not in a good area. The waiting area to get called in before surgeries is outside, which I didn't like at all. It was cold and sketchy. Just like most vet clinics, it's not the nicest looking. I was a little turned off, but drove too far to change my mind. Unlike Pet Luv and Planned Pethood, they actually take you into a room with your animal before any procedures or shots, which I LOVED. It made me feel much more comfortable. The vet techs are all really sweet and detailed. Drop off was at 8:30 and pick up was a 4. When we picked her up, they brought us back into a room with her and explained how the procedure went and post op care. They wrote sweet notes all over her paper about how sweet and cute she was, which made me feel comfortable and happy that she was well taken care of. ACT is farther than Planned Pethood for me and a little more pricy, but I really did enjoy my experience with them. My cat is perfectly healthy as well :)

A special thank you to Tim who sat down with each and every person in the lobby individually and explained how surgery went and how to care for the animal afterwards. The whole process was extremely smooth and I really appreciate how they let you bring in ferals six days a week, as you can't exactly plan when you are going to trap an animal. I rescued a 3 mo. old puppy from a bad situation. I named her Asia, and I brought her in to be checked out by the vet, spayed and get her shots. The staff knew from a phone conversation that Asia had a few issues that might make things a bit difficult. She was completely deaf so she was afraid of everything and everyone, very skittish, had never been outside or in a car let alone go for a ride until I got her. She was kept in a crate 24/7, that was 3 sizes too small for her by the previous owners and had some walking issues, never had a collar on or been on a leash, and no type of training whatsoever. The staff there was so patient with Asia, they did things on her terms, didn't rush or force her and not once did I feel worried or it was too much! And yes I stayed the whole time, I was a nervous, new mom. But while Asia was being taken care of, 2 of the staff members took me into another room, gave me a ton of great and very useful information and instructions on raising and training a deaf puppy. Not only that but also took the time to teach me a few hand signals, including her name and how to call her that I could teach to Asia with ease! By the time Asia was ready to go home, they had her walking on a leash and had taught her how to sit by sign language!! It wasn't perfect but it was a great start! I don't think there's another place on Earth but here where staff members would take that kind of time, patience and care not only for the animals but their owners too!! By the way, Asia is now a lovable, healthy and sign languaged trained👌 2 year old dog 🐕 that loves the outdoors and car rides!!! I've been going to regular vets for 17 years across three cities - I've probably taken my dogs to 20 veterinarians. I'm happier with ACT than I've been with most of the others. The facility is clean and pleasant, and most of the staff are friendly and kind. The only downside is you're kept waiting, sometimes up to an hour, even with an appointment. ACT did senior wellness exams and blood tests on both my dogs and a dental cleaning for my Chihuahua, and dispensed heartworm and tapeworm meds, for a total of about $300 over three visits. A regular vet would have charged hundreds of dollars more for the same services, perhaps up to three times as much. And unlike many regular vets, ACT vets don't shove extra services down your throat that in many cases you never even requested (like the time my former vet whipped out a $100 vitamin shot for my dog and injected her before I knew what was happening, and without asking me for permission). The way I look at it, I made a couple hundred bucks per hour to sit in the waiting room each time. Worth it to me.

ACT is awesome! I have a min pin and she needed to be spayed. I called on a Saturday, they scheduled my dog the following Monday at 8am. When I walked in, I signed some papers, waited about 20-mins and my dog was taken in to be examined for her spaying, heartworm check, and rabies vaccine. Then, I was asked to pick my dog up by 3:30 the same day. ACT, was clean, VERY knowledgeable staff, excellent prices, and all worth the drive.

I had an appointment at the humane society clinic this morning to get shots for my girl. Well unfortunetly she has been peeing blood and seemed uncomfortable and I thought she had a UTI and so I let them know. They turned me away telling me that she needed to be hospitalized and they couldn’t do anything for and I should come back with a regular appointment or go to a hospital. So they sent me away without so much as looking at my girl to see if they could help. So I called the ACT in tears telling them what happen and they put me on a short hold and then told me that there vet was on the way in and if I came now I would be the first person she saw. It was suppose to be an hour wait and it was only 30 minutes and they got my girl in and examined her. They told me that I had nothing to worry about there weren’t lumps and she was eating drinking and had no fever. It was very unlikely that it was anything more than a UTI they gave antibiotics and told me to monitor her and if she doesn’t get better to bring her back and they would do everything they could. I just want to say that the Animal coalition is amazing. There staff is caring and kind and I felt so relieved that they cared so much about my girl melody and did everything to make me feel better. I won’t ever be going anywhere else if I can help it. Thank you A.C.T you guys are amazing and I will continue to support you and what you do whenever I can!!! They saved my little girl when I was unemployed and had literally no money. She needed an emergency spay because she had Pyometra. Pyometra is defined as an infection in the uterus. My little dog went into heat and then after about two or more weeks she just started gushing blood on a Friday night. Emergency vets wanted $5000 upfront. I was so lucky I was able to keep her alive until Monday when I took her to the animal coalition. They helped me get a voucher from animal control to reduce the costs dramatically and the remaining balance was not collected for whatever reason and they gave me my dog back. They called right as I was getting home with my dog on New Years Eve and I told them I’d have to pay them another time. I ended up setting up a payment arrangement and paid them a very small amount every month until the balance was paid. I’m sure my situation was unusual but they saved us. I feel like the biggest scum bag for having to drag out that debt but I really really was struggling. I’m happy to say my dogs better than before, and I don’t know what I’d do if they hadn’t have saved her. She’s now registered as my emotional support animal. She can also detect seizures before they happen. My dog is my life, and you guys saved her, and me. I can’t thank you enough!

Very crowded coming during intake and during pick up. During intake clients allowed their aggressive animal to face off (unknowingly) with another clients dog and one got hurt badly. They need to upgrade the facility to include a separate waiting room for clients with aggressive dogs or just tell them to come at different times. It was a mad house and I saw people leaving because of the incident that occurred. Staff has poor communication with each other to include incompetent behavior. No how I'd like to see any facility run tbh. You guys could do better. I do like the fact that they are a part of the Hillsborough county voucher program so they do see and help lots and lots of animals. Their staff just needs to learn to work better as a Team.

Ive been bringing my pets here for years, seems like prices keep going higher and higher almost as much as taking to a regular vet.. Wish they could recognize good customers or like me i have multiple dogs and give a little price break if you bring or refer other customers

I found this place after a bad experience with the humane society and went here after and it is the best place to bring your dog too. They actually care about you dog and they are very fast even with walk in. I completely love this place they are also wicked affordable too way cheaper than the humane society and workout payments with you if you can't afford it.

I took 2 of my dogs to get neutered here.they got whatever shots they needed and they even removed 3 baby teeth that were stuck not coming out.. They barely needed pain meds for the surgery..no infection.. No scars..a very good place the staff is amazing..

I like the folks here, but they sometimes get a bit 'shady' with the billing...for example, I took 3 feral cats up to get fixed on the 2nd Monday of the month...'Spay Day'...supposed to be $10 a cat...for a total of $30...was dumbfounded when I was informed that because I arrived at 9 AM...price was $35 a cat...no where on their website was it mentioned that the price more then tripled after 9AM...went ahead with it, but I feel I was 'ripped off' and the counter folks were like 'too bad'...
