Oh my gosh!!! Such a great staff!!! I took my sweet bunny here for the first time as he had something wrong with his eye. It’s like I took him to a family member to take care of him. Such a great place. Very well organized, and they do boarding!! I will be back and have other pets as well. Was glad they were able to fit me in. Yah!! Great vet as well and the assistant had some great hair. :). Thank you!!

Best group of veterinarians in the St. Louis area! We have been taking our pets to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital for 14 years; yearly checkups, illnesses, allergies, and everything in between. We don't have a preference about which doctor we see when we set up an appointment because they are all incredible! The technicians and front desk staff are also amazing, and always a pleasure to work with! Thanks so much to the team at Creve Coeur Animal Hospital for always taking care of our loved ones!!!

They are always amazing. Dr. Dillon was extremely helpful in walking me through the process of a kidney failure diagnosis and prognosis for my senior cat last year and the clinic sent a very sweet card after my cat's passing. I recently got kittens and they were very understanding of the absolute mess one of the kittens made on the way in to the clinic. The vet tech and vet cleaned her up and gave us some good information that has made my kitten feel much better.

We’ve been taking our dogs to Dr. Kronk for over 10 years. He’s got the best bed side manors and leaves us feeling confident treatment and checkups for our dogs. Louis needed his pinched nose fixed, a hernia and neutering to ensure he had a good quality of life. Thanks again and I highly recommend cc animal hospital if you’re looking for the best care. It isn’t cheap but cheap isn’t good and good isn’t cheap.

Dr. Tony Kronk is an incredible vet. He exhausted all possible options for my Bearded Dragon's care, and against all odds has helped save her life. The love and care he demonstrates for exotics is par none. Dr. Kronk is my third vet since moving to St. Louis 3 years ago. My second vet was at Webster Groves Animal Hospital. That vet did not pick up my Beardie in the proper way (supporting all of the legs), and did not think her teeth discoloration was of any concern. Not satisfied, I drove 10.5 hours back to New Orleans to see our first vet. It was there at the Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital of Louisiana that Dr. Pence suggested Dr. Kronk for his outstanding work with exotics ultrasound. I have never met Dr. Kronk in person due to Covid, but never has my Beardie come out of a vet's office without blackbearding. He has somehow earned my Beardie's trust, and in doing so has easily earned mine. When my fiancé and I chose to adopt a puppy, there was no question as to who her vet would be. All of this to say that Dr. Kronk is an amazing vet with an incredible team of techs and assistants. I would absolutely encourage any exotics parents to see Dr. Kronk. Creve Coeur Animal Hospital has gained a customer for life!

We had been taking our cockapoo to the same vet for over 10 years - from the time we first got him as a puppy. But Kirby got into a crisis situation with an ulcerated tumor, and our original vet thought he could wait two weeks for surgery! Dr. Moritz saw Kirby the day I called for an appointment, and by 6:30 that night was surgically removing that tumor as well as a second one that he found. There is no doubt in my mind that Kirby would have died had the surgery not been done immediately. Needless to say, we transferred care of our dog over to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. All of the staff members are courteous and caring, and patient in answering questions. We are fans!

Dr. Kemp has been our family vet for 18 years. She is the most competent, thorough, and, most importantly, compassionate DVM we could’ve hoped for to care for our animals over the years. Yesterday (a Saturday), we had to say goodbye to our sweet dog. Dr. Kemp came to our home to help her pass peacefully and to give much-needed comfort to my family. Our pets and our family are better for having her as our vet. Cannot recommend this clinic enough.

They are amazing and we're super accommodating. We had an emergency and worked very hard to fit us in which I appreciate so much since they had worked with my pet in the past so they knew her medical history. They were calm, helpful and explained everything clearly and overall it was a scary time but they helped me understand what was going on and were always super kind and upfront with everything going on.

I have two super senior beagles and this is the best veterinarian staff we have ever worked with. One of my fur babies has chronic allergies and is a cancer survivor and the other has a heart murmur and extreme anxiety. Every visit we have high level care provided by a wonderful staff and brilliant doctors. I will never go anywhere else.

Dr.Moritz is amazing. I have been taking my pets to him for over 18 years. He takes the time to explain treatment plans in detail and listens to all of your questions in a way that never makes you feel rushed. As long as I am in St.Louis this is the only clinic that I will take my pets to.The front desk and vet techs are super friendly and very kind when interacting with the fur babies..you can tell that everyone at the clinic loves what they do and really cares about animals. Can't say enough about how wonderful CCAH is. We truly appreciate all that they have done to care for our furry kids over the years.😊

I recently transferred care from another hospital down the street on Olive because this is the second time in a year and a half they have gone to curbside pick up ( covid protocol 🤷🏻‍♂️) and they won’t allow me to be in the examination room with my dog. Unfortunately my dog has separation anxiety and gets extremely scared and nervous when alone. The staff from the counter all the way to the doctor was extremely professional, helpful and kind with my dog. They all exhibited a true passion to help and care for animals.

I don’t even know where to start with Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. My husband and I needed a new vet when we moved to St. Louis, and read wonderful reviews about CCAH. We started bringing our Lexi cat to them when she was healthy, and they were amazing. I’d like to especially recognize Dr. Glaeser, who was Lexi’s primary vet, and Lexi (the human!) vet tech, who loved her namesake like she was her own. Lexi was 14 when we started taking her to CCAH and she developed diabetes a few months after our move to STL. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout her diagnosis. They were always prompt at scheduling appointments, they would call us to check in on her, they would explain our options thoroughly, and took excellent care of our girl. Her health continued to decline, but Dr. Glaeser made sure we were able to keep her around as long as she was feeling good. When it came time to discuss end of life care, they made excellent recommendations for at home euthanasia. They also sent us a beautiful card with handwritten notes from Dr. Glaeser and Vet tech Lexi. This staff loved our girl so much, and they cared about us as clients. We have moved to O’Fallon, MO, now, but will probably still bring any future pets the 20+ miles to CCAH to continue the excellent care they started a few years ago.

I just started using the Pet Site they have set up for my animals and it's wonderful. I love Dr Sanburg even if my cats don't really. Her assistant is always so bubbly too, so I know my animals are in good hands if I have to hand them off and they are behind a closed door without me. It's tricky to get into the parking lot, and it's a tight squeeze, but the care IMO is worth it. Also, read into this as you wish, they have tvs in the exam room so before the vet comes in you can watch TV. That's a nice plus.

I learned about this place from my sister, and Dr. Kemp is the only vet I want to go to from now on. I've had terrible experiences with vets in the past to the point where I didn't want to take my cat anywhere. Dr. Kemp and the team are so amazing, and not only calm my cat down, but me, too. I fully believe she saved my pet and added years on to his life. ❤️ Updated to say: when it came time recently to let my cat Toasty go, the staff were so compassionate, kind and helpful. They truly loved him like he was their own, and made a horrible moment a bit more bearable. ❤️

This is a wonderful office. They were always amazing with my pet including when he passed unexpectedly. Every time we went in they were pleased to see him. When he passed, our main doctor was out of town but another one stepped in, helped me with my grief and answered all my questions about what happened. Later, our doctor called to express her condolences, again answered more questions, wrote a note and made a donation in his name. During his life, they were attentive to his needs, gave him great care.

I have been bringing my rabbit here for almost 11 years. There are not a lot of rabbit savvy vets in St. Louis so that is how I found them as they were the vet on record when I adopted her. As I adopted my 2 dogs I kept them all at the same place. I have seen most of the vets in the practice and they are all really great towards my pets and me. I may be able to find a less expensive place that is closer, but like finding the right doctor for yourself, finding the right vet for my pets is important. In cases of emergency since I am an established patient, they will get you in as soon as they can. I have had a few times that I called and they could take them as soon as I got there. The office staff is just as friendly and helpful. As my rabbit is getting older, she is feeling the ails of old age. The group is really good on making follow-up calls to check in on her. Not to make me come in, but just to check her health as she is declining. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I have been going to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital for 5 years now. I take both my cats there and have never had a bad experience. I get in quickly for appointments & if I ever have an emergency, they never hesitate to say come on over. The office is clean & the staff is friendly and helpful. One of my cats has had an ongoing stomach condition & they have worked with me to come up with the best & least invasive solutions for her health. They are a little pricey , but my pets are worth it! I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone!

I take my Netherlands dwarf rabbit to see doctor Kemp. We love her. She's so sweet to him and its always nice to see her because she's so friendly. She always remarks about how handsome my rabbit is and keeps us from getting too worried. He's a healthy 6 year old rabbit now but when he was new we took him to see her and she told us we needed to do a test because he came from a pet store. It turned out to be what she thought and gave us antibiotics to keep him from developing an illness. Now he's a healthy and happy member of our family. Its been 5 years ago. So my advice is if there's a test Dr. Kemp wants you to do do it because she's a calm person and won't stress you out if your pet seems healthy. But if she ever feels that something is important I would listen to her and follow her advice. Other than that we've seen some of the other vets there when Dr. Kemp was pregnant and they've all been so nice and caring for my rabbit. Its a really good clinic. Especially if you have a rabbit.

I brought my pets (a dog and a cat) there for several years when we moved to the Creve Coeur area. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and veterinarians at CCAH - they really get to know your pet, understand their personalities and health history, and treat you with the utmost courtesy and respect. Like the other reviewers, I appreciated their availability for emergencies, and their ability to "work us in" for appointments with short notice. My dog also boarded there very frequently, and they cared for him exceptionally well. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Both of our boys go here. They're kind and quick. Our babies don't have about stress going in our coming out. The pricing can get high, but I like having a vet that can address almost any medical issue we might have with all the records they need right there. They're always quick to get us in and quick with results as well.

My family takes our 2 cats here and love it. They typically only go once or twice a year for shots and check ups but the staff is always friendly, the wait times are low, and the docs are very kind and gentle with our cats (even though the the cats themselves are a bit skiddish). I'd recommend the Creve Coeur Animal Hospital to anyone wanting a good, healthy experience for their pets.

Dr. Moritz and his staff are wonderful. They're especially good with small animals like guinea pigs and rabbits. I had a guinea pig with a lot of health problems- they were great vets, but also very compassionate people. I now bring my new puppy to them, too. I can't imagine a better vet.

I have been going to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital since it was Everything Pets, and I can't say enough about them. The doctors are wonderful and so caring, as are the staff. When I had to put my first dog "down", at age 18, they were so gentle and sympathetic. I am now on dog #2 (she's 13 yrs. old now) and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else. We recently went through a horrible time with our baby's ear but Dr. Chris did not give up. He was so kind, thoughtful and caring to both our dog AND us. We had a wonderful, happy ending to this dilemma, thanks to Dr. & staff. I can't imagine going to anyone else, we are blessed to have Dr. Chris and his entire staff - they are filled with loving care.

My favorite thing is how great they are about fitting you when you have an animal emergency. I have been a client at CCAH for at least 15 years. At one time or another, we've had appointments with every one of the doctors on staff and they are all wonderful! They give true personal care to each and every patient. With my current four pets, we have been through illnesses, surgeries, etc. and with each new situation, I gain more faith in their knowledge and abilities. The staff is warm and welcoming and always very helpful. I would not trust my fur-babies to any other animal hospital.

I was so nervous after adopting our first puppy, especially after visiting a few vets with little success; but as soon as I walked in to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital I knew I wouldn't have to look any further. The veterinarians there have been more than helpful, spending as much time as I needed answering all of my first time puppy owner questions and being extra sweet and careful with our skiddish/shy puppy. I would highly recommend them to any dog owner, old or new!

We have been taking our two dogs to the Creve Coeur Animal Hospital since 2004, and although we love Dr. Chris Moritz as our regular vet, I can also attest that when he is not available, the other vets on duty have also been thoroughly knowledgeable, competent and professional. They all have a great rapport with both their human and animal clients, a good "bedside manner." The vet techs are very well-trained and provide useful follow-up demonstrations and/or general information. The front desk employees are as pleasant and helpful as can be. This is definitely a well-run veterinary clinic that I would happily recommend to people!

I absolutely adore the services this clinic provides. My fiance and I have been hard-pressed to find a vet in St. Louis that is qualified to work with pet rats. Every vet in the clinic sees rats, along with other small mammals. Dr. Kemp has taken excellent care of ours - she offers great advice, looks them over thoroughly, and has successfully performed a mass removal on our two-year-old. The service is great all-around. The staff goes out of their way to stay informed about your pet, keep their records up to date, and make themselves available for questions. Every time we bring an animal in, they provide us with a full-body exam and health report. Dr. Kemp has also been known to call us during times when she's not working, to answer questions or check in on a pet. As long as I live in St. Louis and have animals, I'll be going to CCAH.

My rabbit needed surgery for some dental problems and two abscesses. They got her in with Dr. Ehrlich right away, and we were able to schedule her surgery the morning after her first appointment. Dr. Ehrlich explained everything to me in great detail, answered absolutely all of my questions, and took great care of my little girl. The staff is very warm and helpful, especially the one that showed me how to give my rabbit her medication (I don't remember her name, but if you're her employer, she has chin-length dark hair with blonde highlights and straight-cut bangs).

Creve Coeur Animal Hospital is a warm, professional, and reliable place to bring a dog. In particular, Dr. Christopher Moritz has been a wonderful and responsive vet for my westie, Cameron, throughout the years. Dr. Moritz was so helpful when Cameron became ill and remained in touch with me even after I had to take him to other vets for specialized treatment. I so appreciated his personal and loving approach to Cameron and his support to me. I would strongly recommend anyone to take their dog to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. Though I dealt mostly with Dr. Moritz, I had other vets from time to time across the years and all were wonderful.

What a wonderful place! I have taken my guinea pigs to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital for years and I'm always glad for the excellent care they receive. Dr. Kemp was especially helpful through the illnesses and eventual passing of my beloved pet. Every step of the way she explained all the options and just had a very positive spirit. She even came in early when he had to be put to sleep at the end of his six years and her support on that day was exactly what me and my family needed. These vets know their stuff, but not just that, they are dedicated to making sure the pet owners know what's going on, too. Highly recommended!

I moved to the area 3 years ago and had had the same vet for 7 years. I found Creve Coeur Animal Hospital through a mailer and decided to try them. My dog has had stomach issues since possibly before I moved. Dr. Moritz has been the vet I have regularly seen and he has been extremely helpful on finding ways to help my dogs stomach issues. He has also put my mind to rest with those strange lumps that have popped up on my dog. More recently he found a slight heart murmur and alerted me that it was nothing to worry about just yet but something to keep an eye on. They also send you home with reading material on your dogs ailments so you can be a more informed owner. On top of all this there services are very affordable. They never try and push something on you, always address the cost and again their services are very reasonable. I have not tried any place else but I have not need to. The service and care and price are far better than even my previous vet!

I have been taking my cats here since it was operated by Dr. Rogers, so at least 35 years. When he left, the practice expanded and the facility updated, though I was very pleased with Dr. Rogers when he was the sole doctor. The current staff is friendly and helpful and concerned about my cats. I do think the prices charged are on the high side, but the location is very close to my home, so that is very beneficial. When on a senior's fixed income, the fees charged can be difficult to add to my expenses, hence the reason for 4 stars.

I called around a lot when we first got our puppy, and determined that their prices were very competitive, so we picked CCAH as our vet. I am so glad we did! We usually see Dr. Kemp, who is sweet and kind and loves our dog like he is her own, but we have also seen a few of the other vets when we've had an emergency. We've never been disappointed with the service we've received or the options we've been given. Their nursing staff and front office people are all very kind, and most of the time my dog is greeted by his first name when we walk in the door. They are willing to work with us on some pricing issues, and always match prescription prices. I feel like they are really interested in giving you the best care possible within a reasonable pricing structure. Highly recommend.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly, including over the phone when I booked my appointment. The office is clean and the staff were well-informed, offering descriptions of several different types of treatments and letting me make the final decision as to which course we would take. One of my cats has had stomach issues and I liked that Dr. Moritz didn't just want me to give him drugs to fix the issue. Excellent staff! They knew I only had a certain amount of money to spend and kept my bill within my budget. They even gave me scripts to fill at schnucks since it was much cheaper than theirs. Now, that's service! Update: I appreciate the doctor very much. He was informative and caring as always. My only issue is that the Nexgard is not working AT ALL! We've used this product before without a hitch, but my dog is still itching profusely from day one of ingesting the medicine... this is the end of only the second week of the month since he to took it! I've found three live fleas so far...all at different times. I know the vet office can't control the manufacturing of certain products. That's why why rating isn't lower. Thank you.

Our animals have been patients of Dr. Chris Moritz for 20 years or so, starting when Creve Coeur Animal Hospital was Everything Pets and there were only two vets, Drs. Chris and Christy Moritz. Dr. Moritz has been amazing all these years, first caring for our cat and now for our dog. Muriel was generally healthy, but had a torn ACL repaired by Dr. Glaeser. When we had to put him down at age 19, Dr. Moritz and the staff were exceedingly caring and seemed to mourn with us. Our mastiff, Lily, has been a frequent flyer since she was eight weeks old (she's now three). She's had multiple minor problems and two TLPOs. Both animals were treated competently, with care and compassion. We've only rarely seen vets other than Dr. Moritz, but the care was always the same -- GREAT! The staff is also remarkable. They take messages for the vet and we always get a call back, either from the tech or the doctor. I highly recommend this group to anyone looking for an excellent experience in vet care.

We moved our veterinary care to CCAH about a year and a half ago. The doctors at CCAH were wonderful with our poodle, Jasper, as he developed age-related conditions. They always treated him with the utmost of tender care, and at the point when we decided it was time to end his suffering, a team from CCAH came to our home. They've been wonderful with our other dog, Chaucer, who is a rambunctious westie. Unless you have access to a Veterinary Teaching College, you won't find more knowledgeable and professional veterinarians anywhere in St. Louis County. We have owned Persian Cats and mixed breed cats, a Basset Hound, 4 Chows Chows and now 2 American Akitas and 2 Chinchillas, gerbils, hamsters and a guinea pig. All of these animals have always received excellent care from CCAH. Other clinics may be closer and more convenient or have longer hours but the difference in terms of clinical knowledge and skill is very discernable. The Vets at CCAH are very thorough and their use of an electronic medical record means that they never confuse one of my pets with another one, which often happens when I have on occasion used a local 24-7-365 hour veterinary clinic as necessary when CCAH was closed on a Sunday or very late in the evening. Because of the EMR, the difference between CCAH and other veterinary clinics is the consistently excellent continuity of quality care. More often than not, there has been a very noticeable drop-off in veterinary knowledge and skill when I have used other clinics. When you question the vets at other clinics about their diagnosis, it too often is painfully apparent that they are not in the same academic league with the CCAH Vets. In 20 years with CCAH, I have never once found their diagnoses and prognoses to be inaccurate. For this reason I can highly recommend CCAH without reservations. In regard to their high touch personal service, CCAH is also second to none. When I have had to euthanize my pets over the last 20 years (a Basset Hound and 2 Chows Chows and 1 very ancient and beloved Persian Cat), the CCAH vets have always been more than willing with very little advance notice, to make a house call and make what was a very sad and difficult day that much less stressful for the animal and my family. The fact that they will take time away from the their practice to come out to my house 20 minutes from their clinic in Ladue speaks volumes about their commitment to their patients. CCAH always make a donation to the U Of MO Veterinary College in my pet's honor and they send me a condolence card. These gestures are always welcome as it shows they remember your departed pet when perhaps the entire rest of the world is just too busy and preoccupied to formally acknowledge your pet's passing. Such simple acts of kindness and consideration have over the decades created a very strong bond of loyalty between CCAH and my family. While nothing but a pet replacement can really take the sting our of losing a pet to age, illness or a crippling disability, at least with CCAH, you won't regret your choice of vets and you will never wonder whether you could have done better by your pet. Over the years with 3 to 4 dogs and 3 to 5 cats, I have seen almost all of the vets and staff and what is striking is that the quality of care has been uniformly excellent. All of the vets are very good about calling you and giving you a detailed prognosis and diagnosis and I have never in 20 years found their diagnoses to be incorrect. CCAH continues to be my first choice in veterinary care for my 1 remaining Chow Chow and my 2 American Akitas, my 2 Chinchillas and my 5 cats and my 2 gerbils and my 1 guinea pig. About the only pets they do not see are my birds, which is a shame, since I have 2 parakeets.

They are all the very best and really love and care for all the animals. When my Sugar was so ill they not only took care of her but me as well. My brother for months told me to take him to see Dr Sandberg and I finally listened 6 months later when same brother told my wife and I that our dog's wellbeing rest solely on us and we been neglecting our duty, Killing our dog slowly. When we got these two they both had their teeth removed before we got them. Dr. Glaeser looked them over really good. He only noticed that the male had a bad eye. He said he would put him on eye cream but in time he thought the eye should be removed. After a few months we had the eye removed. This dog was so much happier and ran all over the place. So Dr. Glaeser knew that the removal of the eye was the best thing to do. Thank you for not pushing us to have it done, and letting us decide when to do it. I would not take my pets to anyone else.

I would recommend them. They saved my cats life and gave him an extra year. I just wish there was a way for people who are poor to get care at better rates but there simply isn't such a thing. This being tbr case, I think they are about as good as you csn get.

We recently took our sick ferret Felix to Creve Coeur Animal Hospital. There he was diagnosed with adrenal disease. They quickly got him into surgery where they discovered insulinomas and a hair ball IN ADDITION to the adrenal tumors. They cleaned all of that out of him, provided superior after care, and Felix is better than new now. What really stood out to me about our experience with CCAH, is how much the whole staff cares. They are always following up and ensuring Felix is continuing to thrive. I also appreciate the email reminders and communications. This vet is keeping up to date with technology!

When we first moved to the Creve Coeur area, we took our cat Eddie to this vet. They were always terrific with him and actually thought he was a "pretty good cat." They were there for us when we had to put him down and couldn't have had a more caring place. Then we got a Westie. We had to take him to a vet within 24 hours after purchasing him and this is the place we chose. We later got another Westie and did the same thing with her. They showed that they had a genuine interest and cared about our two pups. Two years ago we moved over on the Illinois side and decided we would take the two Westies to a vet on this side of the river. We only did that once with each dog and then decided that it was better on the Missouri side, so we took our two Westies back over the river to see this vet and we couldn't be happier. They are the best!!!

This is the place to go. There is no question. They will you get in the day of your call if theres an emergency, they will give the best care possible, and they are incredibly knowledgeable. The only downside is that they are expensive. In all honesty, if you care that much about getting a good deal, you probably shouldnt have a pet to begin with. I have two guinea pigs and have taken them to CCAH for a few years now. I finally decided to write this review because of a heart-felt card I received after my last check-up. One of my piggies died from an URI during that cursed snowstorm a few weeks ago. I took my remainig piggie in for a check-up, and not only did the vet and staff make sure I had full information to keep my remaining piggie healthy, I received a handwritten card expressing condolences on the loss of one of my pets. The card is just the icing on the cake for excellent care. No matter what pets I have in the future, I will always take them to CCAH.
