Reviews of Seattle Animal Shelter
We found our forever pal and buddy for our other doggo here! Staff are amazing and do everything in their power to find the right fit for these poor souls.
*Edit: We discovered after a couple months, that he in fact was not vaccinated like they claimed he was. While they are nice enough to pay for the vaccines and vet trip like they initially offered in the first place, we were not able to go on our yearly vacation together because of it, and now have to take time out of our week to get him a vacine that should have been taken care of by the sheer in the first place. Dropped the rating from 5 to 3 stars due to this.*
I feel horrible surrendering my baby America. I had her since 2 weeks old and she is now 3.5 years. However, it is now no longer best/safe for her to live in my home with my other dog. She has had high anxiety and symptoms of aggressive behavior ever since she was a puppy. She deserves someone who can give her an only-pet home and the time and energy to continue the training Seattle Animal Shelter will provide. But, if it wasn’t for Tina, Behavior Specialist at the shelter, I wouldn’t feel that she is in good hands and will receive the support she needs. Thank you Tina and Seattle Animal Shelter for doing what you do!!!! Picture Tina sent me after surrendering America.
If you want to be the adoptive parents to my baby, please let the shelter determine if you are a good-fit. She loves anyone who shows her love.
Good people doing amazing things for animals. Kind and loving humans who love animals. Thank you for looking after my Bones and Little One in an emergency situation. The staff was unbelievably kind and considerate of our special circumstances. We are forever grateful to the Seattle Humane Society for doing what was best for our foster pets.
Had to rehome a beloved cat. It was a fine and good experience. As good as it could be anyway considering the situation.. We'd have loved for it to be a bit more personal but it is what it is. Friendly with animals best interests at heart.
Went looking for my lost black siberian forest cat. The staff are very friendly. & willing to help. Thanks Mr. Kenneth.
The staff here treat the animals amazingly, we took Orlando home a week ago and he is still very attached to the fuzzy sloth doll he received from them. He has acclimated well and is learning boundaries with our small feisty dog. We have renamed him Red and he is a big cuddle bug! He has his own crate, we have an open-door policy so we removed the the door so he can come and go as he pleases, it's how our small dog lives too. Red has sensitive skin and seems allergic to wheat and possibly dairy, he breaks out in hives after cheese so we are cutting dairy out of his diet too, even if he really really thinks he can have just a little bit. We will be taking him to the vet in a few weeks and have found a dog trainer to help us teach Red how to socialize with other dogs. Could not be happier or more honored to give this big pup a furever home!
When this lady called the animal 🚓 on my kitten Lowkey they human society aka animal shelter definitely took care of my baby!!! Thank goodness that we have this development to care for our animals when they become lost or need time to find there homes again. …
Kindness on earth has a face and it is the one made by all the volunteers of the shelter. They are awesome and make all the difference to support all animals and humans.
They were very helpful as we met with a potential dog. They allowed us to take our time and didn't feel pressured. We did adopt her. The process was smooth.
Great experience! The staffs were so nice and super helpful. We called in a couple days earlier to schedule meet and greets with several dogs. We came home with an extra member that day. I can tell it's a great shelter because my dog went around to say goodbye to each staff/volunteer before leaving with us.
Helped my mother pick out an amazing doggie! Wonderful place with very helpful staff, we were able to take the doggy out on a walk and see if he got along with her current dog. A short time later he was headed home!
Save a life, adopt a dog.
My boyfriend and I adopted Daisy from Seattle Animal shelter in July. She has been a joy and blossomed outside of the shelter. They helped us out with all of the paperwork and dog licensing for her even when they were busy. We also appreciated that they had leashes and collars for sale there.
They were having their 50th Anniversary and an open house, so we were able to visit the shelter without making an appointment. Staff was wonderful and it was so fun to play with the kittens in the kitten room. We ended up with a loveable kitten and are so grateful to the shelter for saving these animals lives and connecting people to them. Here's to another 50 years!
Brought home a new baby! Very kind and knowledgeable staff
Such a blessing to our community. I adopted the the greatest dog. His name is Rex. I am happy they are here for us and the animals. Thank you.
Today marks 3 weeks since we brought the AMAZING Dodge home and we couldn't be HAPPIER!!! THANK YOU Seattle Animal Shelter!! 🥰🥰🥰 …
Got our good boi here. Attendants fed him a lot of cheese while we were there, he was so gassy on the way home XD
Around 1yr update: Raffa has been the best of all the good boys! I can't imagine our family without him and feel like the luckiest owners.
I just adopted my kitten here. The staff and foster parents are super nice and helpful. They gave the most objective opinion on each pet you are interested in. They won't let their feeling about the pet to influence their judgement and you can see they want to match the best pet with you!
But I do know they are understaffed so I hope more people could help by donating or become a foster parent. Avoid breeders and start adopting!
A little disorganized, as when we adopted we sometimes got conflicting info on what to do or about the animal. But overall they care for the animals and we were able to get a loving dog. He is the best boy. We adopted last summer.
They have amazing animals to adopt. They have rabbits that need homes. But please if you are not ready to take on an animal, don't. Lot's of animals including rabbits are abandoned on the side of the road.
If you're looking for a lost dog you're only going to find it when they're open and sometimes you feel like who knows what's going on so just keep checking
I've read through multiple recent reviews and was skeptical when seeing many comments about rude employees. But I'll say right off the bat that every single person I interacted with (employees & volunteers) while at the SAS was super friendly, knowledgeable and helpful through the adoption process. With COVID, it was new to me to have to set up an appointment opposed to being able to walk around and see the animals, but the whole process was stress free and simple. They provided background on the animal and answered any other questions I had. It was really clean throughout the shelter and the "stalls" where the animals are kept. Free parking was a plus (especially in Seattle)! It was nice to see the SAS represented on Amazon Smile as well for anyone who would be interested in donating.
When adopting, the pet I was interested in was NOT in foster care, so I understand that process may be a lot different. But from what I experienced in the shelter, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a furry friend!
People were very cooperative and very helpful even though I showed up without an appointment my cat was unlawfully detained and abducted and I had to pay fees that I was not expecting because I am there was no reason for them to have impounded my cat however furthermore I appreciate them very much they gave me my cat back and they gave me some free food to boot I recommend adopting animals from the animal shelter as opposed to buying them from puppy mills and kitty mills
I have been satisfied with all of my experiences concerning medical pet care in Seattle, however, SAS has won my heart and complete admiration over all. The lovely people who work/voulenteer at SAS are the most compassionate professionals, and I could not have been more comfortable leaving my beloved Loki in the care of this outstanding facility. Smiles on everybody's faces, soothing/relaxing spaces for hold until pickup, and their 100% financial assistance program has been the biggest blessing of my entire year! 😺🧡
I had to surrender my cat at the vet because I couldn't afford the operation. The vet gave him to the Seattle animal shelter. I'm not exactly sure who did the operation, but the Seattle animal shelter called me up and asked if I wanted Oliver back. He was really glad to see me when I picked him up and now he's happy to be home and hopping around making the best of his new norm.
Super friendly staff and great facility. They were super patient with us as we met and adopted our new pet. I highly recommend this location and the staff.
They took great care of my dog! Nice people helpful also do wave fee if u are low income
One of the nicest and cleanest shelters I've been to. I visited this shelter yesterday, and would wholeheartedly recommend to adopt and support this shelter!
Staffs were professional (special thanks to this tall lady in blue scrubs who patiently answered all my questions), they provided me with sufficient information to make the best decision for a dog I had intended to adopt. I believe they want what's best for the dog, -best fit, best forever home.
Volunteers were awesome. Dogs appeared to be well cared for. Kennels were kept cleaned, and each has toy(s) with cozy blankets and bed. Unfortunately, we didn't adopt this sweet dog as our living situation might not be best for him.
Hopefully will be able to adopt from them in a near future 🐶
This is a wonderful shelter with wonderful people. The facility is very well kept by staff and lots of volunteers. I highly recommend this shelter if youre looking to adopt your new best friend.
Super helpful staff. The gentleman that helped me save a tagged carrier Pigeon was amazing. I so glad I found this place and I hope the Pigeon is doing great.
I have donated to All Aninals Pet Shelters. I feed Cats that been Abandoned, Abused by the corrupt animal pathetic haters. These pet haters Souls are all going strait to the demons hole. It's so sad how people can be so cruel to our most Loving Wonderful Souls of our God Creations. Lord have mercy to our many neglected abused Living Animals. I wish I could take every pet to my home & just Live them & take care of them 100%.
Great facility, it feels like they really care about the welfare of their animals. Visited the cat and small critters areas on a Saturday afternoon and there were lots of volunteers available working with the animals, maybe too many. Some of the visiting spaces were a bit cramped and the majority of folks there were volunteers. This was not a huge issue, but there was also a shortage of folks working the front desk so there was a small crowd of people waiting to have their visitation and adoption applications reviewed/approved. Staffing the front desk and visitation areas more appropriately would really make this a 5 star shelter.
Found my new love! Mo (now Jo Jo) is happy as can be. The foster home that cared for him before my adoption was finalized was great, she was very accessible and easy to contact. Staff was quick to get back to me when I inquired about him. The adoption process was clear and understandable, and went exactly as it was relayed to me. Great staff and volunteers
I came to this shelter two weeks ago to adopt a cat. The shelter seemed very clean and the cages were double-sized for the cats, which was great to see. One of the ladies that was helping us seemed distracted and rude. My main reason for writing a review is the animal engagement process.
This shelter does not have a separate room to interact with a potential pet. With their current process, they take the cat out of the cage and have you sit on a stepping stool and hold it right there . . . amidst all that chaos and stress. I was sitting on a dirty stepping stool, not a real seat, and there was no room for my boyfriend to also sit and get a feel for the cat.
I don't think this is fair to the pets or the people looking to adopt. Give these cats a chance to show their personality by having a separate, closed off room. There's so much more you can assess in a situation like that and it's not as scary for the cat. We liked one of the adult cats, but we couldn't really tell how the cat felt toward both of us. We also didn't feel like we had enough time with the cat to make that big decision to adopt. People were trying to squeeze by while I sat with a cat in my lap, in the middle of the walkway. It was rushed and uncomfortable.
Seattle Animal Shelter, figure out a better system.
Had a horrible experience here 11 years ago. I had to surrender my 2 kittens. I had just lost my job, was facing eviction, and was pregnant. I was in a horrible place and had to make a very difficult decision, but I knew I had to be responsible pet owner and I knew that I could not take care of those kittens. The man shamed me until I was sobbing at the desk filling out paperwork. However, he was one person. I've gone there since to potentially adopt and the animals are so loved by those who work there. The dogs get walks and the cats get lots of love and so do the bunnies and all the other critters. Good people work here.
I highly suggest calling before you go visit the pet you’d like to adopt. The staff were helpful but had a very recognizable agenda for the animals they had available for adoption. Bringing up reasons why we don’t want the animal we specifically made the trip to visit and suggesting other pets. It would be nice to see them be upfront with their description of what the desirable family should look like.
The place is good and people at the shelter is really nice and helpful. We are interested in a cat specifically which is shown to be adoptable at the website. However, the cat was not there when we arrived. They told me that the cat was transferred to a foster home and I could call to arrange a time with the foster parents. They actually responded very soon after I leave a message but told me that this cat was not evaluated and the foster parent also want to adopt him too -- the cat should not be shown in the website but they don't know why.
I was really frustrated since I had to take a time off my work to meet the regular hours but didn't get the correct information. Not to mention that they just added more description about the cat on the website, which doesn't make sense if that cat is not adoptable. I understand that it is hard for a no-kill shelter to operate and really appreciate the work they do to save those animals, but we have to reconsider another shelter for adoption just to save some time for us.
Everyone there was amazing and wonderful. I've adopted from them before and they've always been amazing, I got my first dog there! She was a little chubby chow chow, Her name was Tiana! She was the best dog, gentle and funny. She even was amazing with a crazy ear pulling toddler. She passed away 3 months ago from cancer and I haven't stopped thinking about her! 7 years of a good life! If you ever are looking into a shelter to foster or adopt from you have to go and look at them, They are hands down one of the most helpful and amazing shelters I've been at :)
I went there to just see the cats we saw online. They were so adorable that I ended up adopting on the spot 2 cats. The place is clean and very friendly / helpful staff.
I had to give my dogs over to their care while I was in the hospital. The staff went above and beyond for my fur babies. Not only did they board them, they updated their shots, microchipped them and offered to neuter my boy!
This facility really knows how to take care of business. They are friendly and helpful when viewing dogs. Unfortunately I have not gone beyond that step in the process. The dogs look well cared for and there are always volunteers loving on them and taking them on walks. Facilities are also very clean and well cared for.
Friendly, helpful staff and volunteers directed us to information boards and clear instructions regarding available pets. Dogs are on one side, and cats plus small/odd critters are on the other. On the dog side, each space is clearly labeled with name and other details. They had 6-8 absolute pups (variety of age/breed) when we visited. Sorry they lost their little doggy park outside; it's all parking lot & road now. We also got to view (though not pet 😟) a few cats, and some hamsters and bunnies. A small parking lot n includes a handicap space out front.
The staff were helpful, it's a good place to go First when considering a pet. So many cute n Not so cute kinds of Fur balls needing Permanent and Foster homes. 👀 🤝 🐶 🐱 🥰 👍
They can get Super busy, so make sure to check first and/or be prepared just incase.
Friendly competent staff very affordable prices probably the most affordable place to get your pets vaccinations up to date. The cages are large they have a local subsidy to help people afford nuetering who cannot otherwise do so. This place clearly cares!!
So glad to get my dog back after she out ran me. These people whom work there were really cool! They gave my dog all her shots, flea meds, other med I had bought her, and a microchip (RFID) for $95! Cheaper than the Vet. I should have lost my dog sooner! ;)
Staff are kind to the animals and knowledgeable. All parties involved must do meet & greet before pets enter forever homes. Donations can be left off for low income pet lovers. With Gold card seniors and disabled individuals can get pet fees reduced on some pets. Website can be viewed the possible selections and is updated and accurate. Some pets maybe in foster homes and not in the shelter. 💜💜💜💜💜
Very pleased how they neutered my cat a d explained everything in detail. Will go back again. Just let everyone know, I don't work for the Humane Society. I just took my cats there for neutering and spaying. Thank you
Wonderful place, kinda spendy but understandable..."by appointment only" is a bit of an inconvenience. I don't like that part.
It is a great site, HOWEVER, why do all the adoption sites charge such high prices? Alot of people can't afford $100+ for an animal. That's just signing a death warrant for the animal!
They have wonderful facilities for the animals, however it seemed like they were bursting at the brim with animals. Even in the waiting room they had cages with cats in them. Not to mention by being close to downtown there was a certain quality of average person looking to adopt or just at the animals in the shelter that was off putting. The staff was amazing and very patient. Props to them!
If you need a dog, cat or even rodents in your life ( and you KNOW that you do!) Come here, ask your questions, answer their questions and give them the tiny amount that they ask for to meet your new best friend. They care and they do the hard work to match us to our animal siblings.
I call to report a dead raccoon in the road so the could come pick it up the automated system addressed the different types of service they offered like spay/neuter clinic adoptions licenses etc in person call was answered in a timely manner person talked was courteous
I found an injured bird and took it in to them. They will hold him til a volunteer can drive him to Lynnwood to a rescue site. Thank you for your kindness.
We adopted our rabbit, Bruce Wayne, from here. The staff was wonderful and so patient.
Got 2 of my kitty cats neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated here. They even have a very helpful spay/neuter program that allows qualified King County residents to pay a discount for the surgery. It allows you to pay as much of it as you can of the total cost. It truly helped me so much!! The clinic is easy to locate. The office secretaries are helpful and friendly. It's a great place to adopt animals in need!!! I highly suggest going here for your anima's needs, or to get a cute animal that needs a furever home. 🖤 the neutering program was so simple. You drop your animal off by a certain time & pick up at a certain time. They do vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter, nail trim if needed, all at once!!! ADOPT DONT SHOP!!!🐾😻🐩🐆 🐭🐓💜🐺😻🐷🐰😺💙🐄🐿🐇🐐❤🐈🐀🐍👌🐁❤🐦😸🐣😽
Best place around. I got my 2 cats neutered here & also got their shots at the same time. Affordable, great customer service and friendly staff. I highly recommend this place. Adopt, don't shop!!!
Such a friendly and caring no-kill shelter that serves the people and animals of King County.
It is a beautiful well managed place. Only 2 dogs were available though and one of them was on more anxiety meds than me.
Amber the behaviorist specialist & the staff of the Seattle Animal Shelter; all are wonderful. I just adopted "Rolly", and he his a great warmful Chihuahua mix. I like the education that came with him when I visited the shelter to adopt "Rolly", and so much came with him like a free veterinary voucher to establish cto establish primary care for "Rolly", as well as coupons for Mud Bay. The whole process at Seattle Animal Shelter was a smooth process, and I highly recommend "Seattle Animal Shelter" for those looking to adopt an animal. I also like the fact they update their website each day to show what animal(s) are available. Thank you so much "Seattle Animal Shelter"... -MARCUS-
Very nice staff with a large selection of pets to choose from, not just cats and dogs. Parking here is free. And very close to the animal shelter. Only down side if most animals you can't be around unless you've decided to adopt them.
Was looking for my lost Chiyuaua so the visit was somewhat quick when they didn't have my dog. For adoption of cats or dogs it's the place to go. Customer Support is great and they'll get you answers to your questions as quick as possible.
It is overall a very nice facility, clean but unfortunatelly not too much space inside. The stuff and volunteers are always friendly and helpful. Adoption process was easy and straightforward.
I adopted a small Chihuahua about 10 years ago she was 2 yo when i adopted her, she was best companion for me. She just passed last week, I really miss her. Looking to adopt another chihuahua!
I have been fostering cats for SAS for about four years now and if you knew how other city shelters operate you'd appreciate how progressive this shelter is. Many other shelters kill the animals brought in on schedule and for space - even lost pets. SAS officers, employees and volunteers care about animal welfare and want to make sure that their homeless animals find good homes. As a foster parent, I know firsthand how supportive they've been for vet care and for providing lots of avenues to get my fosters adopted. Because there are never enough foster homes, some animals get stuck at the shelter and the staff/volunteers tend to them as best as they can. The animals are not sent to a vet as a matter of course and there is no vet on staff except at their spay/neuter clinic. But if an animal shows symptoms of serious illness, shelter volunteers will take them to a vet. If you are looking for a new furry family member, I encourage you to check the SAS Petfinder listings for animals at the shelter and also the huge number in foster care. Don't shop - adopt!
They were very helpful in reuniting me with my dog China ! I was able to get her out thanks to the program they have for financial assistance. They also were able to donate some items, anything I needed for the dog.
This a wonderful, compassionate shelter. I recommend their website for foster dogs, in addition the those in the kennels. They also have a few cats, and a rabbit and rodent selection.
Nice, clean facility. The staff/volunteers are very helpful. Have only adopted guinea pigs from here and it was a very pleasant and easy process.
This place is great. I just adopted a dog and this may be the way I get dogs from now on. The hours are weird, but considering what you're there to do, I can't complain at all
They had my dog, Velcro, who ran away. Special thanks to the Seattle Police Department for finding her initially, to the Seattle Animal Shelter for housing her, and to Courtney at the Seattle Animal Shelter for processing her release...with an ever so slight degree of deserved admonishment! Thanks!
Overall it was a good experience at the Seattle Animal Shelter unfortunately on the day that I came there were only two dogs that were available for adoption beyond the dogs that were in foster care and I wasn't able to see them in person but Seattle Animal Shelter really seems to care about animals and I am currently looking for a dog and I think if I find one at Seattle Animal Shelter I will feel that at least I got the best start with my dog from where it came from we'll see how it goes
I wish that I could adopt all of these sweet animals. There is a section for dogs, cats and other creatures. I you have room in your home, consider this prior to a puppy mill. My thoughts.
Staff was super helpful and I was able to spend plenty of bonding time with my new feline companion before taking her home.
great staff who care about the animals
Great place for people looking to adopt a dog or cat. The animals are well kept and make wonderful pets.
The Seattle Animal Control Sevices are an AMAZING group of people. They went above and beyond for me and my two doggies.
Popped in to pay our dogs license. If you want a dog, this is the place to come. Very well kept and the staff obviously LOVE animals.
Great place to rehome those family members you are unable to take care of, as well as picking up your foster/new family member. Very courteous and respectful.
I'd go back.
A great place to adopt a pet! The facilities are clean and you can view the animals. To meet them you have to fill out an adoption interest form first
Newly renovated cat and critter areas greatly improve the experience for animals in the shelter. Come find your forever friend today. Great volunteers!
Employees were very kind and helpful, there was a bit of an end of day rush, so try to arrive well before 5 on a weekday. Loving our new companion 🤗 …
This is an incredible organization. I cannot overstate how happy I am with every aspect of the interaction. I trust my dogs health and safety with them and would recommend them to anyone.
This bundle of joy came from that shelter :) they are really professional and have some of the most adorable furry animals to send to your loving caring homes
I found a fledgling Robin that was very noisy and had an insatiable appetite. SAS accepted the bird and held it until PAWS could take it to their facility in Lynnwood. I thought that was pretty cool.
My little 5.2lb Yorkie "Chewbella" ran out of my place yesterday while I was building a shelf and got picked up on the curb in front of my place. They called twice (showed on called on caller ID as potential spam.) And called a 3ed time. Gokd service!
Wonderful facility. Staff is helpful. They really try their best to give every animal individual attention.
This shelter is amazingly clean and bright, the animals have a reasonable amount of room, and the staff are friendly and seem quite caring.
The people there were really friendly and the dogs were gentle with my 10 year old 11 year old and 1 year old I recommend this place if any one wants to adopt a dog or cat☺
Staff was friendly and kind. Took the injured finch we brought in with care and compassion. Great place to go for animals.
We had an emergency involving a stray and they were very fast. Super helpful.
This is where a great group of dedicated and caring animal lovers help the animals that need their help. Adopt a dog, a cat, or many other available animals here; or donate.
there's nothing but love for the Seattle animal shelter however we need a new facility for our animals for our humans and for the city of Seattle we need a new facility for the sake of the animals for the welfare of all let me know what I can do to help I love you all we love you all thank you Ken
I got two kittens and they are clean and well cared for. I am very happy with my new pets.
We didn't know you had to make an appt. before you could see a dog.
This place is awesome! Very friendly and compassionate staff, there are great people that work and volunteer here! Thank you for what you do
This is a very well maintained shelter that clearly loves and respects animals, and whose missing is to get them forever homes.
You can’t drop off your dog for a few hours when he’s bad to sit in jail and play with the other inmates
This place has a high adoption rate! I feel less guilty visiting without taking a animal home knowing that most animals dont spend more than a week there!
They are awesome they housed my 3 animals in safekeeping while I was fleeing dv not once but twice. Thanks to all the volunteer and staff
I'm looking forward to seeing the dogs that are up for adoption. I'm ready to own a dog and this is so exciting!
That is where I got my baby girl 6 yrs. on June 02. Also they help with food, flea treatment, and a new leash.
I looked everywhere to find me a dog this is one of the places I went to they do a good job on taking care of their animals but I was unable to find a pet that I was comfortable enough to take home
This is a very well run shelter staffed with people who love animals and do their very best to help them.
Very dedicated and friendly staff. They accept donations of food and other items for the shelter, and have tons of volunteer opportunities.
This shelter is amazing 😊 the dogs there are usually kind and quiet.and the staffs are really kind. …
A sad day, they were very helpful. :(
Many animals to choose from. Sad animals become happy animals when you save them from the needle.
Go. Save dogs and cats, do it now!
They took real good care of my kitty
Perfect place to donate pet stuff, and you can see the animals, unlike a few other shelters I've visited.
Modern facilities, humane conditions, wonderful volunteers. Seattle can be very proud of its Animal Shelter.
I got a lovely dog there a pit bull this pit bull is so wonderful I can't believe how lucky I am yay for the Seattle Animal Shelter
Good selection of animals in need of a forever home.... sometimes the staff isn't as nice as they could be
They have a weekly pet loss support group. The place is very clean, caring people take care of the animals.
This place is great they donated the money to get my family's cats fixed I'm so greatfull there amazing
Was able to drop off a sick pigeon & they happily took him. Cute kittens in there too :)
Very helpful and there's a place you can donate food ,supplies, ECT. Or get them if you need food and or supplies.
They are doing a great job.just wish there were more resources for the amount of animals in need.
What can Ireally say they are the best in the business because they really do care about the animals they come in contact
Clean sand safe place to look for pets. Animals look well takrn care of till you adopt.
I loved donating all our gently used dog blankets & gate here!
There are plenty of volunteers who can answer your questions about pet adoption. There are always new animals coming in (and also getting adopted).
The people here are friendly, caring and helpful. I came to post a missing cat flyer and they put the info in their database.
people with a decent heart.
I love this place, and how much they respect and care for their animals.
I brought my recently departed pet here for cremation services. They were kind and consoling.
Nice volunteers and staff, but having only one on the front desk made for a long wait.
Wonderful place to find pets but they don't have very many.
All our pets have come from here. A nice facility with a staff that cares.
People there were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! The facility was clean and well organized.
Well managed no-kill shelter with very helpful staff and volunteer
Great staff.
Go here often and visit the animals.
If you can, adopt one.
Clean. Animals are well cared for. Focused on finding permanent homes for pets.
People were so nice in helping us when we lost our cat.
Come see the dogs, and they have a great volunteer program if you want to walk dogs weekly or get involved with any of the other programs.
i love it! they have the best dogs maybe im geting one? i hope i do😄 …
Staff really paid attention to finding a suitable match, not just looking for anyone ready to adopt. Very kind, too.

BEFORE ADOPT:
The blond Lady at the front was quick to assist & informative. It is best to go in, they don't answer phones and make sure to stay on top the emails. I didn't get my forever kitty yet will update after the process as well.
