Awesome. No other vets around would see my sick cat if I wasn't a client. They never asked. Got me in an hour later. Staff is awesome. Dr. Perry and company got my buddy back on his feet. Dr Perry called the next day to check on him. They even gave me a carrier to take him home in. Also very reasonable prices. Top notch care!

Absolutely a fantastic Veterinary facility ! I take all of my 5 dogs there and have for years. You can easily get emergency visits, well care and Dr Wirth is extremely knowledgeable with reproductive care for healthy, successful breeding. Dr Pasierb researched and proceeded to do a rare surgery on one of my males and her confidence and knowledge as a Vet is outstanding. I’m fortunate to have these two particular Vets caring for my dogs.

We are out-of-towners with a dog with a permanent feeding tube and were going to be in Newport for my brother's wedding and related festivities. Kind of a shot in the dark -- I reached out to NAH to see if a vet tech from here would be able to dog-sit for us since we are not comfortable with the idea of having a regular dog sitter. Not only did they answer, they exceeded all of our expectations. When we first got to town, we met at the hospital for an appointment with Dr. Perry and Lindsay Mcdonald (who would be sitting for us) and another tech (sorry I do not remember his name!). They were very thorough with our dog's history and questions to be prepared in case of emergency while Lindsay watched Clover for two half-days and administered her water for us. We felt very comfortable leaving the appointment that they all had Clover's best interest at heart. We especially want to thank Lindsay for taking excellent care of our fur baby (even sending us pictures, one included below, and updates). Apart from being a very kind and warm person from the first day we spoke to Lindsay, an important thing I would note is that she said she would not hesitate to contact us with questions/concerns. Over our many years of dealing with our dog's complicated medical case we have learned that good communication from your vet and those who work at your vet is one of the most important things. Lynn, their hospital manager was instrumental in helping us establish Clover in their patient system and make the initial arrangements with Lindsay. I also believe that Dr. Walker assisted in reviewing Clover's history with Dr. Perry and Lindsay prior to our arrival. For a vet hospital to be so kind and thorough for a patient who will be seen there one-time (and in the end they could have turned down if they wished) says a lot to us. If we lived in the area, we would not hesitate to have NAH as Clover's primary care vet. We are sad that we cannot bring Lindsay back to SC for future instances that we may need someone we can trust to watch our furbaby.

Dr. Perry and her technician were wonderful and kind to our crazy lab. The hospital was able to fit us in the same day and everyone we encountered was compassionate and kind. Dr. Perry understood why we had come in and we never felt pressured to do any diagnostics and she was even happy to run a test that was requested. We are so thankful that they were able to help our puppy get back to acting like her normal self!

Whether it’s an emergency or a routine visit, this office is accommodating and effective at finding/fixing any issues. You can tell they all love animals. I truly cannot say enough good things about this place. I switched vets after a number of years hoping to find somewhere that cared not only about my pet, but was able to communicate effectively and compassionately with myself as an owner. Newport Animal Hospital did not disappoint. From the moment I walked in for my first appointment, not only did I feel welcomed, but was impressed with the cleanliness and style. During my appointment and most recent surgery with my cat, Earl, I have never felt more cared for by a staff. From the front desk, to vet techs, to our vet, Dr. Pasierb, I felt 100% comfortable with my pet being in the best hands and being fully explained what and why everything was happening (which wasn’t the case at our last place.) The fact that our vet called during the surgery and then 24 hours afterwards to check in, meant a lot. NAH won’t BS you with prices and are more than reasonable compared to other places I’ve been to or looked at. Basically to summarize: this place is a no brainer to bring your furry family member and I wish I’d been a client sooner!

Easy drop off of fecal test, but somewhat pricey for a poop survey! Understand that this is a good sized practice, and they have to pay folks fairly for the quality services they provide. All-in-all, generally very satisfied with the services provided.

I recently moved to Boston and will not take my pets anywhere else. They were amazing to my cat for her six years of life and treated every eye infection, ear infection and upper respiratory infection with the utmost care. They answered questions over the phone and they worked with me financially when my cat needed multiple appointments. They were so compassionate when it came time to put the family dog down and stayed late on a Saturday so I could sit on the floor and cry. They treated my concerns about my new cat's (13 months) lack of appetite with professionalism and did not run unnecessary tests and she's home, happy and eating. They also gave her medication for travel without an appointment. Bananas and I will travel the 60 miles when she needs to be seen because I will go nowhere else. Newport Animal Hospital is family medicine for pets through and through!

I usually go to the Middletown office, however this time they only had an opening at the Newport office so I took it and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Perry (I hope I have the right name) was so great! She was friendly, she knew all about my dogs breed and was very helpful. We were in Newport on a boat and my dog fell and it couldn’t move her legs. We taught she was going to be paralyzed. In tears we called them on Friday afternoon and they took us in right away. They were so helpful, knowledgeable and caring. At the end nothing was broken and they sent us home with pain meds. So lucky to have found them.

I had a wonderful positive first experience with Newport Animal Hospital in Middletown. My newly inherited dog has been a client for almost 10 years, but yesterday was my first visit there. Charlie was scheduled for surgery with Dr Fain. She took the time during surgery to update me and ask for consent to change the surgical plan. I appreciated the kind and knowledgeable staff from the initial pre-estimate, check in for surgery, the updates from Dr Fain and the great vet tech upon discharge. She took her time with post-op instructions and even called the vet to have additional meds ordered when poor Charlie was distressed when leaving. Dr Fain called the next morning to check in his progress, which I appreciated. All in all, it was an extremely positive experience.

We brought our cat in to get follow-up tests done for his diabetes and hypothyroidism. The staff was very professional and pleasant to interact with. The vet who saw my cat was very kind and gave a lot of valuable information, and he also assured me and my fiancee that we were doing an excellent job with how we've administered medicine to our cat. My dog had a foot and nail problem. I called the office and was told to come right over. I was taken in quickly once I arrived and saw our regular vet. My cat is a very skittish cat. She normally doesn't like strangers, but she is gentle and responds to your energy. If you are gentle, she responds well. If you are aggressive (or even too assertive), she gets scared and wants to run away. Vets in the past have thought she was an aggressive cat, because they would go in it with large padded arm guards coming straight at her face and she would be terrified trying to run. But recently I had to take her in and we met with someone knew to us, Dr. Nhianh Pasierb. She was amazing!! She and her tech took things slow with our cat, had a calming voice, a gentle touch, and my cat did sooo much better! she was able to complete the examination without a fight! Dr. Pasierb was able to read my cat's body language and know how to adjust accordingly. I wish I wasn't moving as I wish I could keep her as our vet. If you have a cat that doesn't do well with vets, I highly recommend her!

I want to start off by saying how much I appreciate Newport Animal Hospital. This week I had a emergency with my dog, she started taking seizure after seizure and wouldn't stop. I called everywhere in the area and not one person cared as I was hysterically crying, begging them to let my dog see a Vet. I was turned away at Bay State, Mass-RI, and every other animal hospital around. Finally, as I was going down the list, I called here. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so sweet, even though I'm sure she could barely understand what I was saying (hysterical). She put me on a brief hold and came back to tell me they would see my dog and to bring her asap, they'd have a room ready and waiting. Unfortunately, my dog passed away in my mom's lap on the way there. My mom took her in, they checked for a heart beat and confirmed, she infact did pass away. They took her body to be cremated (as requested). They were all so nice. Today I received a sympathy card and it meant so much to us. Thank you, thank you so much! This was my first experience here. They showed me they do care about their animals and clients, even if you've never been there before! Thank you all! -Daisy's family

My dogs have been patients of Newport Animal Hospital (NAH) since 2014. Most recently early in December, Dr. Nhianh Pasierb performed an inpatient surgery (vulvoplasty) on my French Bulldog, and I couldn't be any happier with the entire experience (pre op-care, operative, and post op-care). Dr. Pasierb was very communicative throughout the procedure, and she informed me that the surgery bill will be on the high side - I told her thank you for the notification, and to please proceed with providing the best care that she could - and to charge me whatever it comes out to because I wanted the best for my dog. My partner and I were very nervous about the vulvoplasty surgery for my Frenchie, but Dr. Pasierb assured us that she would take wonderful care of her. And she did just that... My Frenchie healed beautifully, and her anatomy looks stunning. I wish I could post a before and after picture here. Through all my visits at NAH, and especially most recently, I can say that Dr. Pasierb is a perfectionist. She provides care that is second-to-none for my babies, and my partner and I are extremely grateful to her and her healthcare team. I took my new senior cat, Lillie there on 6/16/21. The staff/vet techs were very understanding of my cats anxiousness and back issues which made me feel good. The only experience I wasn't happy with was vet herself, I forget her name. I just found her to be a bit off-putting when explaining my concerns. I feel she really didn't understand these needs and concerns of my senior girl. After my initial visit, I didn't feel happy about my experience with her. It just left me feeling a bit upset. Next time I come in, I wish to see a new vet whom is more caring and understanding.

Got a same day appointment because over the weekend my cat started showing signs of losing weight and not being herself. I was very happy to have Dr. Phan see her. They were complete and thorough with their examination and had to wait for blood work results. The next morning I received a prompt phone call with the doctor with a diagnosis. Our first experience with boarding was phenomenal for my pets (2 dogs and a cat)!! The staff was very friendly and responsive, calling us when anything came up with the pets. We've used countless boarding facilities across different states and this is a good one. My only dislike is the expensive price. I know I can't put a price on the well being of my pets, but this will deter me from boarding unless I absolutely have to. Overall, the experience was a good one and I do recommend this as an option for sure!!

My pup hates going to the vet, I couldn’t even get him through the door so I switched to these guys. He has never been so well behaved before at a vet. My pup seems to really like and trust them. They are so patient with him even though he talks the whole time (German shepherd). I had to bring him back outside for a pee and he walked right back in on his own. They’re just really good with dogs. At the last place it took 2 people to help get him through the door.

Dr Chris Fain fitted us in with same day service (thanks to a cancellation) to check out our Black Lab, Beauregard, who had been crying, restless, and favoring his left front leg. Chris ran a battery of tests and gave Beau an anti-inflammatory injection plus a prescription for more of the same. Beau was significantly improved when we got home. He settled down, slept well, and did not display any discomfort thru the night. He seems much better today. Dr. Fain has been taking good care of Beau since he was a puppy, that’s why we followed her from Vet Services of Wickford to Newport Animal Hospital.

My one year old kitten had been very sick. She is also my emotional support animal. I called up Newport Animal Hospital last week bc I knew something was wrong with her. Having no money & her reg vet (@ the time) refused to do a payment plan of any kind to even see her. After speaking with them and them referring me to the Potter's League, I was given an appt immediately. Sadly, it was determined, after an xray that one of her kidneys is enlarged. She was given medication at the vet's office as well as medicine for home. I'd also like to say thank you to those who donate & continue to donate medications, know it means a lot. Threw office said they would call me this Monday to check on her and they did. They even took care of talking to Potter's League for today's visit for me. Otherwise, I would not have been able to have her seen. This is a serious situation. The vet and staff have been very compassionate about this situation. I wouldn't trust my Baby's care to any other vet offic . I highly recommend if you're looking for a place with kind hearted, caring staff... go here before going anywhere else♥️♥️♥️
