This is the only vet I will ever take my babies to! Sunburst has been our family vet for over a decade now. I would not entrust the lives of my fur babies to anyone else, and I mean that. I greatly value their opinion, their knowledge, their education, their help, and their kindness & care above all else. Not only that, but this is the only office I have ever found that doesn’t have absolutely outrageous prices!!! The head vet personally put our kitten onto his schedule to see her in follow up because he knew we were so worried about her. You can truly see the passion and genuine care that he has for our animals- in fact ALL the staff has that passion for all the pets they see. We have never had a bad experience in the 10+ years we have been part of Sunburst’s family! They are very busy, but it’s because they are providing amazing care to all animals that come through their doors. They are well worth the wait. I’m so thankful and grateful for the phenomenal staff for always taking amazing care of our family members! Thank you thank you thank you to each and every one of you!!!

I don't know how partial I would be with this review but my wife works there and she loves the place. The doctors, techs and receptions are great. Every time I go into the office the clients seem to be so happy with what's going on. I see, no, I know animals taken here are being treated very well. They are in good, tender and Loving hands.

We have been going to Sunburst for 18 years. This is the best animal hospital. We travel from north surprise, but it is worth the trip. They return phone messages and give the very best care to our pets. We lost our bulldog today and we feel that they went way beyond to fit us in and take care of our girl.

Very busy and vets and staff are great I've been going there for years. Our beagle had surgery and sat we took her in to have the stiches removed. There was an obnoxious dog that wouldn't stop barking. They should have those dogs wait outside. It puts so much stress on the animals in the waiting room. They took our dog back and within minutes she had passed away. The vet was trying everything and was also in shock. So I spent 700 dollar 10 days prior for surgery and now have to pay to have are dog cremated. They have know idea why she passed. If we didn't go sat would she still be alive??

We had to make the tough decision to put Koko, our 11 year old lab, to sleep after she became unable to walk due to a progressive neurological disease. They were able to take us in that same day and were very supportive during that very difficult time. We had Koko cremated and they gave her remains back to us in a beautiful wooden box with her name engraved on a heart.

If I could give this hospital 10 stars I would. As I write this review I am at a loss for words. This is simply because I don't believe the words exist to truly show the amount of respect and appreciation that I have for Sunburst Animal Hospital. My first pup, Kiko, was scheduled to have his toe amputated today. I love my dog more than anything in the world. I was really struggling with the entire process. It was hard for me to even drop him off and walk away. Dr. Steven's and his team literally did everything they could to make this experience as comforting and convenient for me. If you are unsure if this is the right animal hospital for you, please, I beg you to reach out to me. I will gladly take the time to explain why this is the best Vet in the world. Thank you to Dr. Stevens, Dr. Todd, and the entire front office for treating Kiko and I like family. We will forever be grateful and proud to be part of Sunburst.

Been taking my sweet pup there for over 10 years. The BEST Animal hospital in the valley. Dr Reynolds is amazing!! She has always diagnosed all of my sweet pups-conditions correctly. My pup Hannah recently had a bad bout of Dermatitis and with the correct antibiotics it cleared up completely!! The staff is also amazing , very kind and patient.

Great veterinarian office that has treated our dogs and families dogs well. Never had any issues with unneeded services, forced to do something not in the pets best interest, or grossly over charged like other places. It’s a popular and fairly busy place so making appointments is key. Love the quick and quality dog nail trims. The main veterinarian knows his stuff, is personable, and doesn’t rush time w your pet. Office staff are helpful both on phone and in person.

If you call a hospital you're pretty much SOL on receiving any medical advice over the phone... That's what telehealth and your insurance company's nurse line is for... But if you call this place abt problems w ur doggos, puppers, woofinzz, or kerters...? Not only are they friendly, they are well spoken on the phone. That counts in healthcare. Regardless of pt type. The nicer and more patient YOU ARE on the phone, the more good info you stand to gain. The girls here are squared away and will talk to you abt your plan even BEFORE you bring in your loved ones.

Dr. Reynolds has always been so gentle with our 17 year old terrier. She has a good heart and understands pets are part of the family and treats them that way.

cant say enough good things about Sunburst. I took my little dog to another Vet prior to Sunburst. He had something wrong with his eye and his teeth were really really in bad shape. The first vet barely touched him and ran test after test supposedly on his eye and gave me some ointment, and told me he just needed a cleaning on the teeth and maybe a few pulled. The ointment didn't work and eye got way worse and even i new he needed more than a cleaning with the teeth. I went to Sunburst, i loved the way they treated not only me but my dog They were gentle with him and went over everything. They gave us some drops, eye is all better and they ended up pulling 21 teeth, cleaned the rest. Two days later he is like a new dog. Never bleed, wasn't sick and recovered nice and quick. Top it off it cost me less then half of what the other place quoted me. I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Thank you Sunburst for everything. We love you.

They are a busy office so don't expect to be able to drop in any time. Their new office is nice except for the acoustics in the front lobby. The tall ceilings make everything echo.

I brought my dog here because she was limping and had a popping noise coming from her leg. The vet examined her, did an x-ray, and explained everything to me in detail. She was super friendly and very informative. I also really appreciated that she did care for my dog and treated her like family. I also had my dogs shots done and her nails trimmed. The price was very reasonable and not outrageous like most vets. We have been coming here for years and we will continue to do so! We highly recommend!

They are always busy so be prepared to wait in the lobby. But the staff is very friendly and you can tell they love animals. The vet was thorough and seemed very knowledgeable. My dog was actively in the process of dying. Rather than make her suffer all night I decided to have her put down. Everyone at the clinic was super understanding and compassionate and even offered to stay open a little later than usual to accommodate us. The price of the euthanasia and cremation is incredibly reasonable and they give you a beautiful box with your loved ones ashes back. I will be going back to help maintain my other dog's health.

The doctors here are great and will always work with you on pricing! The techs are also very knowledgeable and will work you in of your pet is sick that day even when they are all booked up! My pup had kennel cough and they worked her in the day of we discovered it and got her the antibiotics she needed. I could not possibly say enough nice things about this place. Our dog tore her ACL it was completely unexpected and honestly devastating. Our loved one was in a ton of pain and all we heard were horror stories about how expensive it would be and what a horrible process it would be. We were lucky enough to get a next-day appointment here. I met with Dr. Todd first and he was so reassuring and straightforward he took a ton of weight off my shoulders. There was a two-week waiting for orthopedic surgery. Obviously I was concerned about our dog being in pain for that long. When I was called back up front I was told I could come in the next day for the surgery. I had assumed that they checked the schedule and had a cancellation. When I mentioned how lucky we felt to Dr. Stevens who was performing the surgery I found out he came in on his day off to perform her surgery. My family and I are amazed and grateful for the level of caring and service we received. You can tell when people truly love and care for animals. I keep thinking what a great gesture that was considering we are not long time patients there. I will recommend them to anyone who will listen! On top of everything else the prices we're completely reasonable and they did not nickel and dime us. Loyal customers for life. Thank you Sunburst!!!!

All of the Vet Doc's here are absolutely top notch. Any issue I have had with my Saint Bernard "Beethoven" they have resolved. Staff is super professional, very organized, and super friendly when calling in. This is the best Vet practice I have ever been too. We have been coming since we moved into the neighborhood and they were recommended from Arizona Saint Bernard Rescue. Also have found that most of my neighbors are using their services and super happy. Looking forward to the expansion coming up since this is such a busy and popular practice.

Sunburst is the best Vet Clinic we’ve ever gone to. They went above and beyond helping our aging dog Bear. March 2019 we took him in expecting to have to put him down but Bear came out that day with a steroid injection and prescription that had him up and around in a matter of hours. Ultimately, Sunburst helped Bear have 8 more happy months with our family. It’s so nice to have a Vet we have total confidence in!!

I have been taking my two Lhasa Apso to Dr. Stevens since 2004. He is kind, caring, answers your questions and gives you the best advice as if it were his own pet. He is a wonderful veterinarian. Most of the staff has been with him since I started going there. They are very nice, helpful and efficient, especially in a time of need as they go out of their way! The office is extremely clean! Yes, the parking is not the best but in the 12 1/2 years that I have been going there I have never had a problem getting into a parking spot! The office is about 20 minutes from where I live and worth every mile to go there!

I brought my dog in to get a large mass removed. The doctors and staff here could not be better. Honestly the first time I have ever been to a vet where they did not try and upsell me. Gave a quote that was 50% of another vet and ended up being $58 less when I got the final bill. I can not say enough about how great it is to find a animal hospital that cares and does exceptional work! Doggy made a full recovery and is also thankful!

This is the best vet. I have a lab who gets super rambunctious around other animals. I called and expressed my concerns about disturbing other guests. They offered to have me check in from the car and they came and got me when it was time to come in. Did not encounter any other animals. They are super friendly and knowledgeable every time. The staff are amazing and the drs are caring and gentle. We moved away from this area and tried a different vet, big mistake, the care we received at Sunburst couldn't be replicated. We now make the drive here for all 3 of our fur babies

I’ve been taking my pets here for 12years. With 5 dogs this can be expensive and Sunburst is reasonable and honest with what you actually need to do and what can wait till you have money. Dr. Stevens is wonderful, he is kind, knowledgeable and quick. Now that my guys are seniors, l have to see them more than l would like and each time they make me feel comfortable and my dogs are not the best either. Although the lobby is small, if you have dogs like mine... not friendly with dogs. You can wait in your car, they come out to get you and then you walk in avoiding all dogs and it’s stress free. Oliver is just crazy and loud, so to avoid the dirty looks from clients, it’s just nice to sit in the car while we wait. Thanks Sunburst!

My pup had a limp and needed her shots up to date so I brought her here for the first time yesterday and had a great experience. The exams are $50 plus $12 for all her shots. Cheapest deal in the area and excellent service. They didn't try to take extra money by getting unneeded X-rays. If I was writing this review on only Dr. Steven's than I would give it a 5+ star!! He is an awesome vet and doesn't try to get you to do unnecessary surgeries or extra medications. He is so caring and really knows about animals!! Unfortunately, the rest of the staff is awful. When you check in for your appointment, they act like you are bothering them. They are rude and really seem like they hate their job! Even with an appointment, you usually wait about 30mins to an hour, which isn't really a big deal to see such an amazing Veterinary but it does give you plenty of time to watch the front desk and their demeanor towards all guests and animals. The parking lot and waiting room is very small (and dirty) but the prices at this place are very reasonable.

I would give this hospital 10 stars if I could. I was referred to Sunburst Animal Hospital by a friend. At first I wasn't thrilled because the parking is so difficult. But upon meeting the staff who are absolutely warm and caring, then receiving my bill which was reasonable, the parking became a non-issue. We recently lost our beloved Keen, a miniature husky that we had for over 16 years. When Keen's health started failing, they never pushed expensive procedures to extend life, they help us keep him as comfortable as possible. When it came time for Keen to leave us, I didn't want to have to do that horrible trip to the vet, so I called Sunburst and they told me about another wonderful place "Happy Endings" who would come to our home for Keen's final moments. Within a week of Keen's passing we received a wonderful, hand written and signed card from Sunburst giving their condolences. That was such a wonderful gesture! Then a week after that we received a card from Sunburst stating that a donation had been made in remembrance of Keen to the Pet Memorial program at the Phoenix Zoo! This hospital goes above and beyond while your pets are with you and even after they have gone. Such a fabulous place. I can't say enough!!! Thank you for your caring and compassion Sunburst Animal Hospital.

This is a great vet office ! I have come to this office to see Dr. Stevens for the past 20 years for dogs that I have owned. I have also seen Dr. Porter the past year or so when Dr. Stevens was not available. She is very good also. This is a vet office with veterinarians that are very caring when it comes to pets. They do not push services or shots on your animals that they do not need. I like to do natural solutions for my dogs when I can (is not alwyas possible) and they are respectful of of those decsions. They are also a vet office that does not do surgery unless it is really necessary, something that is hard to find. Many places want to do what will make them money. I have moved far enough away from this vet office that I have to find another vet, which will be very hard. Just know that you will recieve loving care here for your animal at reasonable prices.

My dog needed a few stitches, I called and they told me to come right in and was out of there in 1 hr. By 3.00 pm the same day my dog eat them out, I called they told me to come on in now, this time they put in 8 staples and sent me on my way and at no charge. Well need less to say by 11.00 pm that same day my dog had now removed them again, this is all my fault because they told me to leave the cone on at all times, unfortunately I didn't follow there recommendations. My poor dog ended up having 4 procedures for 1 simple cut.
