We love the Pet Clinic in Omaha, NE. They have cared for 2 of our dogs and not our 3rd. The staff are totally caring and very helpful in providing great quality service and care. Our puppy had a test done and they were quick to respond and give us a call telling us the results. I love it that our puppy is loved and treated with kind loving animal lovers. Cheers to them.

Highly recommend The Pet Clinic! I've taken 2 of my dogs here and everyone I've interacted with has been fabulous. Particularly, Dr. Hanna is the best vet I've ever had. She's kind, very well researched, honest, and thorough. The clinic is consistently clean, runs on time, and the staff are great. Though I've made it clear that money isn't an object when it comes to my pets, they are always transparent up front about the prices of various services. I genuinely feel the staff has my beloved pup's best interest in mind at all times.

The pet Clinic is wonderful Doctors and Staff. I have been going there for years. My baby has recently been diagnosed with cardiac issues and I have Been a high maintenance Client since . Friday my baby acted like she couldn’t breath and I was unsure if she was choking or this was her heart issue. I called late on a Friday and I was historically trying to explain what was going on Ross had me come straight in and Hunter took Winnie straight back the kindness and compassion they showed was so incredible. Dr Kluver was busy with her surgery patient but found time to come talk with me. And was so kind even though she was very busy. My Dog is my best friend and my family. This clinc would get 10000 stars if I could.

I strongly recommend the Pet Clinic! Both Dr. Kluver and Dr. Buete have been amazing! We recently switched because I have a very anxious and fearful dog. They were recommended by others with anxious pets as a vet office that really pay attention to dogs body language and respect their limits to have a positive visit each time! They are very pro "happy visits" as well and encourage them. If you don't know "happy visits" are just quick stops into the vet office to get on the scale maybe or just get a treat at the office and go home to build the positive association with the vets office. They gave me lots of great recommendations and had lots of "tools" to make our visit a fearfree and happy one!

Highly recommend!! My regular vet couldn’t get my dog in the same day for an ear infection. After calling 4 different places who also said they couldn’t fit us in, I was able to get an appointment with The Pet Clinic. They were extremely caring and did a thorough exam and was able to get my pup the meds he needed. Will definitely be using them again in the future! The front desk staff was extremely nice as well. Great overall experience! Update - my dog ended up with pancreatitis and was extremely sick. They immediately got him in and IVs started for fluid and meds. He is doing so much better now! The nurses there are SO nice and caring and I am grateful for everything they did to take care of my dog. They will literally sit on the floor with your pup and snuggle them. Amazing care.

Great place to bring my pets. Have been coming here for two years now, and would recommend this place to those who are looking for quality pet care. Staff is always friendly, professional, and understanding. Doctors never push unnecessary treatments and listen to your thoughts on treatment plans. We did have one experience that was less than ideal, but we voiced our concern and the owner called us to understand the situation and provided a plan to fix the experience for the future so that no one else will have a similar experience.

I don't know everyone's name, but I have had appointments with most the doctors and all of them were very nice and extremely knowledgeable. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I went here for the first time being worried about the health of one of my precious dogs. He stopped walking and I didn’t want him to be in pain. I called all of my typical go-to places and they couldn’t get us in until next week. I called The Pet Clinic, they listened with care and got us in on the same day I called. Unfortunately, it was my baby’s time to go. All of the staff were incredibly compassionate the entire time. Since all he could do was lay, they put him in a bed, pet him and comforted us both. They even let me pay in the patient room and go out the side exit so I didn’t have to see others. The costs were reasonable, the care was extraordinary. They earned a new pet family in us.

My dog stopped eating and drinking and my regular vet couldn’t see me, but they recommended The Pet Clinic. I’m so glad they did!! My one year old Boxer has seizures. I lived out of state and we could not control the seizures. I moved to Omaha and Dr. Hanna with her team helped my pup and devised a plan for ongoing care. I showed up as soon as the clinic opened on a Saturday morning with an emergency as my dog could barely walk, and they met me at my car, carried my baby in, got us a blanket for her to lay on on the floor, and was able to see the doctor quickly. This clinic was willing to take my bulldog in when her normal vet was out of town. They took great care of her and I am so appreciative of how well it all went. Dr. Opdahl stayed after hours on a Friday along with some staff to be able to give my dog a small procedure. I can never thank them all enough.

There aren’t enough positive words to describe The Pet Clinic! From the first visit with both of my pets, the doctors and staff have been attentive, communicative, and accommodating. Not to mention my fur babies are in the best health they’ve ever been in and my wallet isn’t screaming. During the appointments, Dr. Kluver provides me with detailed explanations and treatment plans. I never feel rushed nor are my concerns ever dismissed. Plus I love that I don’t feel like I’m constantly being pushed towards an expensive unnecessary procedure or lab diagnostic test every appointment. The vet techs are knowledgable and sweet. After the appointments, they are available over email or phone. If I send a message over the weekend they call me back promptly on Monday to touch base. I could go on forever. I am beyond happy!!!!

My cat woke up this morning very uncomfortable & showing me that his ears were bothering him. We’ve struggled to find a vet that we like but I knew I didn’t have much time to wait & he needed to be seen. So, i decided to google and find a vet near me that had high reviews & that’s how i ended up here! I gave them a call and we were in the office within an hour. I could not be more impressed with The Pet Clinic. as traumatic as a trip to the vet can be with a cat, you could just tell how comfortable he was the entire time. everyone was so kind & informative! within 30 minutes we were in and out, with a diagnosis and treatment! i feel so lucky to have stumbled upon them, and i’m positive i found our forever vet. thank you thank you thank you!!!!

We had never been here before. When we had an emergency with our guinea pig, Puinea Gig, they jumped right in to try to save him. He didn't make it, but not because they didn't try. They were kind, caring, understanding and so comforting on a very heartbreaking and emotional day for us. Puinea Gigs ashes came back today. The Pet Clinic sends out to Paws & Remember of Omaha for cremation, then it's sent back to The Pet Clinic when complete. His ashes were in a beautiful wooden box with his name on it. They saved a tuff of his hair just like we asked. They also made a little clay impression of his pawprint that my son wants tattooed (he's almost 18, and Puinea Gig was his furbaby). I will come back here for any future animal care if we ever decide to get another furbaby. Right now, we need to heal... and it'll be easier thanks to The Pet Clinic and the awesome staff and veterinarians. RIP Puinea Gig ❤️

I have 3 dogs and I will definitely be switching over to this veterinary clinic for any and all of their medical needs. I was at a loss trying to figure out what was wrong with my Blue Heeler. She is only 3 years old and would not go up the steps, run, or play with the other dogs. Something wasn’t right. My wife and I had gone to our old vet clinic 3 separate times to get an idea of what the problem could be. I’ll say this...it wasn’t an easy thing to diagnose. My dog had no tenderness and nothing hurt her to the touch. She also wasn’t limping or showing any other signs of pain. Every now and again, she would let out a yelp and we finally narrowed it down to an issue with her hips. Our old vet was constantly telling us that they couldn’t see anything wrong. My wife and I finally agreed that it would be best to get a second opinion so we tried The Pet Clinic. I was very impressed with the patience they showed my dog. She was abused as a puppy so in situations where she is not around us, she can be a little bit difficult to work with. I thought the appointment was taking a long time but as it turns out, they actually took the time to bring her in and calm her down before they even did the exam. I could definitely tell how compassionate they were with her because when they brought my dog back out, she did not run to me and she did not seem like she was in distress. After a couple months of going through the motions, the doctor at the clinic figured out that she had some arthritis that was inflamed in her hips. We had finally gotten a diagnosis after she had been through three different appointments and two different doctors at the old clinic. I was so happy to figure out what was actually going on but I was sad that my young dog had arthritis in her hips. The doctor instructed us on a few things that we could do and also gave her a strong anti-inflammatory to hopefully bring down the swelling. Dr. Harris at the Pet Clinic recently performed surgery on my ferret. Everything went perfectly. Always friendly and fast service. Always try to fit you in the schedule. They always give my dog treats and are very gentle with him. My dog is kind of a wuss and is always terrified of coming into this place, but he's treated so well, he eventually relaxes a bit, althou he would still run away if the opportunity presented itself.

These guys have been there for me multiple times. Just today I came home from work to find out my rat had injured himself. I was able to drop him off immediately, putting him in a dirty kennel from his last visit in a panic. Not only did they treat him well, giving him some meds to get better - they also cleaned out his cage and washed the blanket I had with him. Will most definitely go back and have already recommended them to others. They’ll take care of your kiddos!

We recommend the Pet Clinic to anybody in the Omaha area. We have had our Shih Tzus and Guinea Pigs treated there. They have a very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable staff. Guinea pigs are the most difficult to treat, and they have done well with our piggies.

She explained everything thoroughly, and gave me various options to choose from - complete with pricing estimates - which allowed me to customize my pets' care. What an awesome clinic. My chihuahua, Gucci, was having intense back pain. Im not from Omaha just here for college and so I didn't have a usual vet to go to. However, I called this clinic and they saw me within 1 hour and the Doctor was so compassionate and kind towards Gucci. The staff was excellent. The clinic was clean and neat. The office staff have always been so kind and helpful. They greet the pets and are genuinely concerned with their care. Dr. Osterholm listens to my concerns and description of what is going on with my dogs or cats. Her gentle caring approach, willingness to first try non-aggressive approaches to current illnesses, and then support with end-of-life decisions goes above and beyond what I ever expected. If she is not available, there are other staff members who understand the needs of our pets also. The vet techs are kind and responsive. Carl is amazing at coaxing and teaching animals not to be afraid of routine procedures such as cutting the nails. I highly recommend this clinic!

I've been going to this Clinic since the early 90's. Everyone here is top notch an friendly. I have never had a problem. I love how the Drs ban together and come up with a solution to save our pets. Once they fought with the humane society and saved a cat. Dr. Curry is the best and goes above the call of her job making sure everything is fine an informing the parent of the pet what's going on every step of the way...

My first time visiting this office. We are healthy and just having OFA X-rays done this visit. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the office and the friendly staff. However, while signing in and getting all my initial paperwork out of the way another customer came in and allowed their dog to walk right up and nose and sniff my dog. Not usually a problem until i hear the staff ask them if they would move to another area since their dog is the one that has been coughing right.... and the staff had not directed them prior to their arrival of the need for their dog to be in the separate "quarantine" waiting area, just in case.

We left a clinic that we've been going to for almost 2 years (Mobile Animal Clinic) because they showed us the worst customer service today, and we called The Pet Clinic and explained our situation and what's going on with our fur baby and they got us right in! When we arrived the Receptionists were nice , polite, and Profesional, and Dr. Harris and the Technicians are Amazing! Love this place! We have a small zoo in our home and somebody is always coming due for shots or something. They make scheduling easy with extended hours and I’ve never had to wait more than a day or two. New review on The Pet Clinic after last visit during COVID*** They have the best drive up and drop off system of any business in Omaha right now due to COVID. Easy on the owners and stress free for the pets. Its fast and a well oiled machine for how they coordinate it. I think they have a system in place that might be the new standard for social distancing and connivence. They have numbered parking spots the phone number is on all the parking spots which you can call or text when you arrive. Techs are moving back and forth from the clinic and the very short distance from the parking space. Before the visit you get emailed a form to answer questions and ask questions or concerns which is easy to fill out. After the pet has seen the doctor they call you and go over everything and answer your questions. You aren't rushed talking to them. When the tech brings out your pet they go over it again and make sure no questions aren't answered before you leave. As much as we don't like leaving our pets in the hands of strangers they made feel really comfortable and my pet was more relaxed waiting in my car before they took her in for her appointment. I am very confident when I say I think The Pet Clinic has set the new standard for curb side pet care during COVID. Which doesn't surprise me since I have been a customer for years now. The ability to adopt and still have the same caring and compassion for our pets during COVID was a breath of fresh air.****** 7/22/20 I have grown up around animals my entire life. I thank my mother for that. If you believe family pets are members of the family you need to go to The Pet Clinic. They treat your pet like it should be as a member of your family. The care and compassion is amazing. Plus The Pet Clinic was designed to be a veterinary from the ground up. Private sides for cats and dogs. Private doors to each exam room. So your pet won’t have any extra stress seeing other animals on the way to exam room. If you are looking for top level care and a loving staff and fair prices go to The Pet Clinic.

My dog is very afraid of humans and can get fear aggression. Other vets we would see would act afraid and stand offish of my dog because she is 85 pounds until we saw Dr. Osterholm. She treated her like the big scared dog she was and she has been able to warm up to her better than anybody else. She showed that going the extra step can really help. Won't go anywhere else!

Dr. H is one of the few vets in Omaha who knows how to treat reptiles and has vast experience in doing so. I took my two chameleons there today to get fecal tests done on them. It was an experience good enough that I can say that I'll be going back when I get my female Malagasy giant in to be tested for parasites as well.

I am long overdue in writing this review. The Pet Clinic saved my dog's life. She had an impossible-to-diagnose ailment a few years ago that turned out to be an auto-immune disease in her bones. She was only 7 years old. Dr. Teeter and Dr. Harris, Anna, Carl, and Teresa (and others) could not have possibly been more attentive or stubbornly dogged in searching out a way to save my best friend. They spent countless hours talking to vet schools all over the country to find the best way to solve this issue. I can't describe the after-hours they spent going the extra distance and taking the time to do anything... and everything humanly possible. Their brilliant and comprehensive approach to testing, diagnosing and finally treating my Emma was nothing short of a Hurculean effort. Four years later, I live almost 1,000 miles away and come back to visit my old home town annually AND for my dogs to see their primary care vets at The Pet Clinic. To all you pissants who get your undies tied in a knot over perceived rude treatment (they have a lot of expectations on them at this clinic and they go the extra mile for everyone... that might... just might be pretty consuming for these dedicated professionals.) These people are miracle workers, and, as far as I'm concerned, they are the consumate professionals. Their efforts have gifted me with a long, health life for my two little ones- one that probably would have died in 2009 had it not been for their over-the-top performance in the face of a nearly impossible-to-diagnose, rare threat to my Emma. God bless you, Pet Clinic. You gave me the greatest gift I have ever had in my life: you saved my dog.

Reptile owners, please take notice! I was unfortunate to have a couple snakes come down with a respiratory infection, as some may know this usually isn't that big of an issue, provided you seek veterinary assistance. Typical cost to tackle this problem is ~$200. The first vet I went to was the same one I take my pup to, he has reptile experience, but not the same as the staff at The Pet Clinic. He prescribed a subpar med for a duration that was too short, so the infections returned. I then went to All Creatures, costly mistake this was. With cultures that are a flat $130 rate and a $50 exam fee, you're out in and out in 10 minutes and have $180 less in your bank account. Before I shelled out my $180 here I went into All creatures wanting a culture, but was told ceftazidime (Fortaz) would likely cure the infection, meds were ~$40 (+ $50 for exam). Meds weren't working, so I went in adamant about a culture. Results showed that the bacteria causing this infection were susceptible to the previous meds... It is worth noting reptiles respond slowly to meds, so results may take more than 2 or 3 weeks. So I stuck it out, per the advice of the vet, buying more Fortaz ($70 for 2 snakes), went a full 4 weeks with little to show except a ~$400 bill. I did ask the vet for advice, their thought - do another culture (+ $180? I don't think so)... Side note (will hold relevance later) - I was told to keep meds in the refrigerator. This is when I jumped ship and went to The Pet Clinic. Things work differently here. Firstly, a culture - a $30 initiation fee, where you can be charged additionally for positive culture result (mine was + ~$60). At All Creatures the bill is the flat rate... Another key difference was the cytology examination, here a saliva sample is taken from your animal and studied under a microscope; the aim is to see an infectious population to confirm a causative source. So what were my results? Turns out the primary cause wasn't bacterial, but a bacterial population did arise as a secondary infection. Fortaz was given again for bacterial treatment and the appropriate med was given for the primary infection. Referencing back to the note made above, contrary to All Creatures, The Pet Clinic told me to put Fortaz in the freezer as the efficacy of this medication deteriorates more quickly in warmer environments (the fridge). Another small, but BIG thing I appreciate about The Pet Clinic is communication from the veterinarians. All Creatures has their secretaries give and take information from customers. At The Pet Clinic, I received calls from the veterinarian that saw my animal, they listened to my concerns and observations, and gave me direct advice. Bottom line, The Pet Clinic is not only a cost-effective option, but very thorough! My ball pythons are finally beginning to come out of their illness. I'll certainly be returning for any issues down the road, I recommend you do the same if you have an animal (especially a reptile), in need of veterinary help.
