We have 2 English Bulldogs and as most know they require special care from their Vets because of being high risk breed. I can say without reservation this is an AMAZING place to take your animals. They are not only knowledgeable but also caring, and understand when your are crazy because you baby sick. They have operated on BOTH my dogs, (they like to swallow things), and they treated them like they were their own. No appointments needed and if emergency they see you when walk in door. If love your babies like I do then these are the doctors you want caring for them

The only small animal doctor in town, my rat Thena had an accident and her tail was cut basically almost off, I got her in and her tail was amputated and brought her home the same day. It doesn't bother her at all, healed perfect and she loves a normal happy life

This is an amazing Veterinary Clinic. Since moving to Iowa we have used them. They allowed us to morn our dogs as long as we needed when it was their day to cross the rainbow bridge. They take very good care of our animals. They are friendly and caring. The office is clean and dose not smell bad.

If you're looking for a discount vet, this is not the place for you. But if you want first rate pet care, I have never seen better. The entire staff is friendly and they clearly love animals.

I won't take my pets anywhere else. I've had visits here as simple as a puppy checkup, and as extreme as surgery and crossing the rainbow bridge. No matter the situation, the staff has always gone above and beyond to make both my cat and dog babies feel safe and comfortable. They never yell at or push an animal to make them comply, and it's also always very clean here.

I found a cat that was in bad shape and my family decided to take him in no matter the cost, I had to go alone since my parents had work and they were the nicest people ever. Love these people! Driving a truck its hard to get in to some places. Yet they took us right in an the vet just oeewwwed an awwwed all over my little buddy!

They tend to push things on you saying you have to give this to your pet, such as the triple protection. One vet said it was a sample if we choose and another said it was necessary. A bit pricy also, went to get a vaccine, but must see the vet and charge $65. Otherwise they're ok.

Great Staff, Great Facility, as well as Vets That Do Really Care. My adult Labrador was hit by a car, dislocating his leg from hip, scraps, cuts, as well as a bit a hole in his tongue, and had a lotta pain, got him in right away, and within 24hrs, had no real pain, and getting around very well in his sling he has to wear for a minimum 2wks to heal. Would recommend this place to anyone. DVM Michael D Steven is a Great Doctor, and a real Animal Lover, went over every detail with me as well. Thank You Doc.

My cat had been previously spayed at another vet clinic in my home town, she ended up getting an infection and i needed a vet close and fast considering it had then been 4 days since she had food or water. the vet instantly knew what was wrong with her, gave her an antibiotic shot along with some pain meds and as soon as she got home she was eating, drinking, and using her litter box! highly recommend!!!

She does not like men that well and absolutely hates being put in her carrier but Dr Sitzmann is so kind and compassionate with her and answers all my questions no matter what they are. While it's admirable to accept the fact that everyone has good days and sometimes more challenging times when dealing with other humans, it's Bad for business to expect customers to appreciate and continue patronizing tactless behaviors and/or word choices that indicate limited levels of developed business civility and unethical standards of operations. Accusatory sounding statement choices spoken by a business representative, regarding the print on a business label printed by that business, to a paying customer is an outdated business practice that appears to continue as a common business practice. I regret having encountered this unfortunate experience.

Went in with no appointment. They got to me in a good time. The doc was very nice and understanding that my cat would be skittish. Very nice staff who knows what they're doing I couldn't get in before they closed to get some meds, so one of the vet techs dropped it off at my house because I had (stupidly) run out. The Veterinary clinic was a better experience than expected. The doctor took special care with my dog. She helped keep him calm and was ready with a treat to give him. I am intending on returning to ensure of my dog's health. I highly recommend for anyone who loves their pets to bring them to this clinic.

I got there to take my cat for a watery eye and sneeze.. There was nobody in the waiting room so i thought it would be quick. It took a half hour to get called back. Thats my only issue with this vet clinic... You have to wait too long! I could only imagine how long it would have taken if there were people in line ahead of me.? Other than that and the fact you cant make an appointment.. I have no comaints. My cat is better 2 days later with the medicine they prescribed. Although The veterinarian we got was very quiet and seemed to just agree with everything i said.. That was kinda weird. But thank you cbvc. After all.. We went there to get the cat diagnosed and treated.. That they did!

The doctors and staff here are so helpful, caring and passionate. I took my cats in for shots during all the covid mess and they did wonderfully with maintaining distancing. They also had us all wait in our cars until our doctors were ready. I highly recommend this place if you need a good vet.

I've been going here many, many years. They have always been friendly and helpful. I wish they took appointments. I think you wouldn't have to wait as long then. But my dogs have gone through a variety of things, including a long illness and euthanasia. I would recommend.

It's very good place I had taken lots of my baby's there. An there was two times that turned out not to be very good day.because I had to but to of my baby down.and hurt so bad but there was nothing they could do. And that happens but there always helpfully and very caring.and very nice matter a fact my baby buster going there this week to get nail cut so he's going to berry mad because he hates them getting down. I brought my 19 year old cat in after she experienced what was determined to be a neurological episode. I called her vet that she had been seeing since she was a kitten and they were so cold and uncompassionate and said they were booked for the day. I called CBVC and they told me to come right away. They were wonderful. I ended up having to euthanize my sweet girl and everyone was so kind, compassionate and talked me through everything. Going forward, I will never take my animals anywhere else. I will forever be grateful for what they did for me.

I took my Shih Tzu here a few weeks ago to get her shots. The staff was so friendly and handled my pup very well. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and were very straightforward and informational. In these times of covid-19 they also made me feel comfortable walking into the vet with her. I have two senior dogs with more than their share of issues. One with separation anxiety who just completed chemo, and another that just battled meningitis. Always caring, best service,&switched over years back when strobaens refused to treat our sick puppy after they said they would make room for her,(parvo)then changed their mind like she wasn't a member of our family but ONLY a dog😢&we should just put her down? After a night in the doggy ER &a fluid pouch under her skin she made a ful recovery.

CBVC must have overhauled their staff since I last needed them. Lisa, the gal that assisted me at the front desk went out of her way to get my cat the attention that he needed, and in a timely manner. All of the techs that assisted were very helpful as well. The memories I had when I visited last were of lazy, entitled and rude workers. I wont call them techs. I am glad to see dr hobbs turn this place around. I will be using CBVC in the future

Our 10 yr old Maine Coon,Angel, was really sick and she wouldn't eat or go potty. Dr Pettis took blood work and figured out what was wrong and gave her meds and in less than a week we saw improvement and she saved our furry daughter.I don't know what I would do without Dr Pettis at the CB Vet! There is a young short guy that is a vet there and called Angel overweight at the time.She weight 12 lbs. For a large breed cat, that is petite. She growled at him after that. We always ask for someone else. Dr Pettis is new but amazing and very nice.

My family has been bringing out pets to this vet clinic all of my life (I am 39 now), and it has consistently been an excellent experience. All levels of the staff there are kind and courteous even during very busy rushes in the morning at towards the end of the day. We have brought new born pets, adult pets, and pets whose lives are at an end, and they show compassion and care each time. The doctors there trust the pet owners, and we appreciate that immensely.
