I've taken 2 cats to this facility, and while I'm not a huge fan of the "drop off in the morning and pick up when we're done" thing, I understand that is the sacrifice to make when it's not a standard vet appointment. They were so very good to my little girl Phoebe and she's doing amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind, I felt very comfortable leaving my heart and soul with them.

Everyone I have dealt with here has been very nice. When we brought Jenny (black cat) in to be spayed there was no wait and she was ready around 3, but there was a pretty nasty ice storm so there were probably cancellations. But everything went off without a hitch, she recovered beautifully. When I brought Chalupa in to be spayed we did have to wait (not a big deal). I was worried I wouldn't hear the pager go off, but it was can't miss it loud. I had to pick her up later than Jenny and the receptionist wasn't at her desk. There was a sweet as pie cat there though, who continued to demand scitches while I was paying a very reasonable amount for a spay/testing/vaccinations/registration. Every one I have dealt with face to face or on the phone has been great, even if I'd understand them being grumpy after hours of surgery check-ins. I'd say you get what you pay for, but honestly they don't charge enough for kindness. It isn't their fault the parking lot is small, their surgery check in works that way, or they can't answer your call right away.

Smooth operation. The people there are so nice and caring. And it is such a helpful place. The procedure was so affordable. I know I put my kitty in good hands. The whole process was flawless. I am very satisfied. I will definitely take my animals there again. And I definitely recommend them.

Wow. This center went above and beyond! My kitten had started spraying last week, so I called to schedule a neutering appointment earlier this week. The next availability they had would have been in January 2023, but I needed is ASAP . . . so the staff went out of their way to fit me into the soonest availability they had - Friday of the same week I was calling! They even allowed me to drop him off the night before because I wouldn't be able to drop him off the day of. The neutering procedure (WITH pain meds) was terrific and only cost about $70 for my kitten; I also got the microchip implant they offer for $25! Excellent service AND great deals! I will definitely be bringing my second kitten here to get neutered soon! Thank you, Animal Spay-Neuter Clinic!

Cheap but sketchy. My cat went home without a cone after neuter and was vomiting. They blamed it on something he ate. I took him in and they gave him a nausea medication and antibiotics. He got better.

We took our baby, Valentine here for his neutering. I saw some low reviews and wanted to share my experience. We dropped him off in the morning with no hassle, they offered to microchip him at a discount. We got the call to pick him up a few hours later. They went over everything with us. The surgery went perfectly and his wound was hardly noticeable. They were very kind and patient with all our questions. Would recommend

Overall they're great, it's just... I thought they were supposed to put a cone on your pet after the neutering. Now my cat's scar is infected and he's now sick. Please do ask for a cone if you can!

I was able to get an appointment with only a few days notice. So helpful since my husband travel for our job and can never schedule too far in advance. Another well known NE humane spay and neuter place in Omaha was atleast a week or more to place an appointment. I went to Animal Spay-Neuter about 20 minutes early to ensure a parking spot in their tiny lot before they opened. I was able to get my pup in there early with no wait. There was a small wait in the afternoon when I went to pick him up. Staff seemed very caring. The front receptionist could use some help as she was so busy helping clients coming in, answering phone calls, and checking out patients. It's been right at week now since my pup was neutered and he hasn't had any issues healing.

They took exemplary care above and beyond for him and his nerves and loved on him as if he was a brand new puppy!! 10 outta 10 recommended for anyone who worries about breed biased places and who wanna give there pets the best care possible! They where also very clear with instructions and after care.

I took my 4 month old kitten to be neutered and vaccinated. The process of checking in/drop off was done using pagers which kept people in their own vehicles until it was their turn. The waiting room is very small without seating, so the process was best for social distancing. The lady checking us in was very nice. I opted to get the rabies shot somewhere else that provided the PureVax rabies vaccine to minimize the risk of injection-site sarcoma. The doctor knew this, so when I picked my cat up, she came out to see if I found a place that offered it, gave me the name of a vet that did, and shared her personal experience with me about her cat getting sarcoma. I appreciated the time that she took and the information she shared. My cat is back to his old ornery self. My personal experience was that everyone was just as friendly in person as they were on the phone, it was very affordable, and my cat was well taken care of. The only suggestion I have is that we are given a computerized printout of the procedures that were done because it can be hard to read the handwritten receipt.

The Good. Place is the most affordable in town for spay and neutering. I never had a problem with them. This is my 2nd kitten I took to them. The Bad: I took my kitten in about 730am and asked for a timeframe which they would not give me. I called them around 5 and they said because my kitten was a female they go last. So my kitten stayed in the cat carrier from 7:30am to approximately 3ish. That is a long time. Why didn't they just have the females come around noon or so since they would be going last??? She was finally ready for pickup about 615pm The Ugly. Place is small and like a dump. Parking lot is very small and you will have to find a place on they street.

I would give a higher rating because their animal service is good. However, their people skills could use some work. I have called no less than 40 times today to get through and only get a recording and it doesn't allow you to leave a message. Their website has no way to get in touch using another method. Their website should have prices if they aren't going to answer their phone or allow people to leave messages.

We had two puppies spayed here, and it went really well. We wanted to go to our regular vet but it was going to be crazy expensive for both. This clinic was affordable. Their spay went so well, staples are in and they are healing well (5 days into healing). They provided great aftercare instructions, medication, and sedatives. They took great care of our puppies. Definitely recommend getting there right at 7:30am for drop off because a line forms outside quickly during the 7:30-8:30am drop off time. We received a call and picked the puppies up at 3:30pm. It was easy, the puppies are healing really well, and it was affordable.

This is kind of a hole in the wall place. Very small and cramped wating room. They do good work though, I was very satisfied with the job they did for me and my pet's. The most awesome thing about this place is that they are 35 to 65 percent cheaper for spay and neutering than your regular vet I promise you. All things considered I am glad they're are there. As you can imagine they keep busy at those prices, I just wish they would invest in a larger place that's easier to get into and out of.

My older female chihuahua had an issue with a "growth" or something worse. An amazing receptionist has me hold so she could talk to the vet. I was told the soonest appointment was 3 weeks out & my dog needed to be seen right away. Spent the rest of the Day getting turned down down by all vets I called. Called back next morning almost crying & thinking my beloved dog of 12 years was gonna die waiting for help. I was asked to hold on..she came from talking to Vet - they had a cancelation, could I be there the next morning. My dog showed no anxiety going in, leaving or returning for stitches out. An animal's reaction means a lot! All of my animals, those of my kids" etc will go there! Old fashioned record keeping, being full; busy, maybe even a bit rude at times doesn't even make me think twice against amazing care, very reasonable prices, an obviously caring & compassionate staff. Sorry so long, but I recommend this clinic to everyone!! 5 stars for sure!

The waiting room and parking lot are small, but they have been in the same place for many years to keep their overhead expenses low.I had a great experience with them and would recommend them to anyone. Don't go if you can't be patient or need fancy things to make you happy. They are low tech, but have a good system down.

Animal Spay-Neuter Clinic were able to trim Cylus’ nails in less than 10 minutes and treat all dogs will bite. When I took Cylus to Heartland Animal Hospital, they only attempted. When Cylus tried to bite, they advised sedation at a cost of $150.

There's nobody with a better price. They have a great staff who care for animals with all their hearts. They wonderfully navigate owners through the care process. I am consistently impressed by their operation. Drop off happens early and they call when pets are ready for pickup. I am thankful a high quality low cost option exists for pets.

Had a great experience having my dog spayed. Due to COVID they ask that you wait outside for drop off as they are only allowing one customer in the lobby. It wasn't an issue though - check in wait time was reasonable and pick up later in the day was even faster. Excellent care and value. I would highly recommend them.

This is the best veterinarian's office that I have ever taken a dog to have them spayed or neutered. Staff greet you when you walk in the door. Veterinarian was just absolutely the greatest. Took very good care of my baby jelly beans. Had her taken care of and no time. I would recommend this place to anybody have another animal that needed to be taken care of.

Amazing care, but very frustrating.See Below): The Pros: - Very Affordable - Vets are extremely nice and take really good care of the animals. - Friendly, my dog doesn't get anxiety when we bring her here, and the techs remember you. - I can not stress enough how much they care for your animals and give exceptional care. The Cons: -Outdated system - They still use a giant calendar on the desk meaning only one person can actually schedule appointments. If they lose the book you're screwed. The phone system is ancient and often jams up preventing you from calling in. Also pick and drop off for any surgery is a nightmare. Be prepared to wait at least 40-60 minutes for both check in and pick up. - The main reception area is tiny, meaning you are literally on top of other humans and animals so you end up standing outside and praying they remember to check that you're there. - They always seem to run behind. If my pup has an appointment I time block out at least four hours to be seen. No I'm not joking. It normally takes that long for a standard appointment. -Tiny parking lot that is a pain to get to and can get very dangerous.

Very nice over the phone when getting info on what my 2 newly adopted cats needed for initial visits. Parking was difficult but overall visit went well. We're even nice about the fact I didn't have a 'proper' cat carrier at first. Im sure theyve seen a lot thru the years but they were very respectful about it.

It's a tiny office, circa 1970, but the staff is amazingly thorough and friendly. I have taken many animals there and never had a single problem. I would go there for all my pet needs if it was a more convenient location. But I have nothing to say badly about them...they will get you right in for an appointment, and it's busy at check in and check out time, so plan to go a little early or a little later than the suggested times.

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Walter for 25 years...she's seen all of my four-legged family members and always takes a personal interest. She provides basic well-care as well as spay & neuter services. Her prices are the best; she definitely tries to make veterinary care as affordable as possible so people can take care of their pets. Her office is small and gets busy; if this is a turn-off then you'll be happier going elsewhere. (But you'll pay a lot more too). If you just need to pick up food or meds, going in the middle of the day is the best way to avoid the rush of the crowd. (Drop-offs & pick-ups for surgeries are in the mornings & afternoons, respectively). Also, January thru March are busy because of Omaha pet licensing and the requirement for rabies vaccinations. I try to take my pets outside of these months.

My local vet in Gretna wanted $290 per cat for neutering and microchipping. These guys did it for $60 per cat. It's not the most convenient location but for $460 in total savings you're crazy if you don't bring your animals here for spay, neuter, microchipping, and vaccines. They're nice, professional and inexpensive. What else do you need to know?

I've waited to be seen before for the longest time, and the shots and pills for the dogs are charged individually which can sometimes cost more than a one time fee. Also the vet doesn't let you go back with your pet and that makes me uncomfortable. And when my dog got spayed her recovery time was 3 times longer than it should have been because the staples kept tearing and she had a cone on and was in pain for a long time.

Everything was good until I went to pick up my Kitty and then there was a lady who worked there O yanked the dog under anestesia to the owner's car and I mean Yanked Leash from the owner's hand To get the dog to go to the car.... And I was very upset for that otherwise as far as I can tell doctor Walters is a good doctor and she took very good care of my Kitty

Dr. Walter is a truly compassionate veterinarian. We loved our cat, Nobi, and had taken him to see the vet multiple times for teeth cleaning and for fluid treatments when he became sick. Dr. Walter and the staff always loved on Nobi and were very respectful and considerate. When Nobi passed away, the staff was kind and allowed us time to grieve at the office and even sent us a sweet sympathy card. I highly recommend this vet and clinic to any animal owners/lovers. We will continue to take our other cat, Tegan, to this location. I have heard of others saying that the clinic is dirty, but to me it just smells of animals.
