Dr. Catladi is the best!! My dog Reggie runs through the door, even after his neutering! I'm not sure what Jason was referring to but I get an itemized bill every time I am there, for insurance, which has been A LOT! I do wish they had later hours, at least once a week, but they are very accommodating and diagnose over the phone if needed. Dr. C and staff are very helpful for new puppy owners and talking us off a ledge. Dr. C has even responded to my emails over the weekend. So glad I found them!

I have a 11 year old shih tzu and had two tumors on her stomach due to not being spayed , after speaking to one of my co-workers about the situation she referred me to Dr.Cataldi , and it was the best decision I made . Dr Cataldi is amazing… Over 20 years ago he was referred to me by a friend to help diagnose my cat… No vet could figure out what was going on. I brought Bingo to dr Cataldi and he immediately pinpointed the issue… He did run tests in order to confirm and his assumption was correct. Dr Cataldi has been the vet for each cat I’ve had since… not only is he spot on with diagnostics, it’s obvious that he truly cares about pets and their owners. Our Miss Scarlet was under the weather and brought her to a place just down the road that we once went to. She needed care right away and was told they had no openings... I stressed because the place I went to says "Hospital" so you would think no matter what they would take you in. They gave me an opening 5 days after. I walked out! I called Veterinary Heathcare and they said bring her down right away. Service was outstanding, Dr John the owner is great and so was his staff. Plus it didn't break the bank. Thank you for seeing us right away. Miss Scarlet now has a steady new place and you have a new customer.

Dr. Cataldi and his staff are very down to earth, compassionate and professional. His true love for animals shines through during each visit and he has a great rapport with pet owners as well. Pricing at the Veterinary Healthcare Center of Clifton is always reasonable and fair and you can be sure that Dr. Cataldi will never bill you for any tests unless they are absolutely necessary. The staff here is extraordinary as well! Dr. Cataldi's Veterinary Technicians Linda and Lisa have been there for years, know all our pets by name and have treated our four legged family with the utmost compassion and care! As far as Dr. Cataldi, I have personally seen him handle pets that would make many veterinarians cringe. If he can handle my 30 lb, four foot long Savannah cat I promise you that he can handle your kitty or puppy! He has always handled my dogs, cats, birds and reptiles with extraordinary care and skill! If it walks, crawls, swims or flies, Dr. Cataldi has got you covered!!!

Dr cataldi and the girls are very nice. He is the type of vet that you want to have around . Very knowledgeable, funny, and modest person. I don’t mind driving 45 to go to him whenever I need something for my precious puppy mikell . I actually found him originally for a little hamster I got from from someone had an inverted cheek pouche he would of die within hours no vet around knew anything about these little creatures I felt so bad for him. He actually lived 1.5 he after the episode that’s how I found him then I got a little puppy he was in bad condition too he had a skin issues he had an umbilical hernia now he is healthy happy , with beautiful skin / fur. He is very nice you can tell he does his profession with passion and caring for the animals instead of your money like other vets . I hope to have him for many more years I would never put mikell in any other hands

The staff at Veterinary Healthcare Center in Clifton are an amazing and caring group of people. I started seeing them when I was looking for a new vet for my cat; when I mentioned this to a friend, I learned that she had friends who had been taking their pets there for the last 20 years, despite moving miles away, because of the excellent care they receive. The doctors are knowledgeable, well-informed, compassionate, and able to help pet parents understand every aspect of a pet's health, from nutrition/diet, to medication, to environment, and age. When my senior cat was diagnosed with renal failure, the staff (especially Lynda and Lisa) were exceptionally kind and patient with me as I learned his new care routine, and went out of their way, above and beyond what is required of anyone, to help me and my cat for the last 2 years of his life. I've adopted a new cat, and will continue to bring him to the team at Veterinary Healthcare because I know we'll get the support and care we need.

Dr. Cataldi and his staff are professional, caring, and always have my dog's best interest in mind. I have been taking my dog here for over 5 years and whether it's a wellness visit or an emergency I have received timely service. Dr. Cataldi also operated on Thaddeus's ACL (it's called something else for dogs, but you get the idea) and everything went well. My bichon is now a happy and healthy 11 year old. We've known and trusted Dr. Cataldi for about 30 years. He has treated our 3 cats and 2 dogs over the years with the knowledge and compassion a pet lover would want and expect for their family pets. He and his staff truly care about their patients, whether the visit is for routine care or something more serious. About 12 years ago we lost our dog to hemangiosarcoma, a serious blood cancer. His condition required an emergency splenectomy which diagnosed his illness, and Dr. Cataldi was personally involved with his care and consulted, advised, and consoled us through our decision to relieve him of his pain. They've always treated our family with respect and understanding, and we will continue to bring our pets to them with confidence and appreciation. Dr. Cataldi also encouraged us to adopt another pet to love, and that was the best advice to ease our sorrow. Our now 12-yr. old "pup" is still a happy patient, and we take every opportunity to refer friends to the Veterinary Healthcare Center of Clifton.

In fact Dr. Cataldi & Dr.Miller have taken care of 5 of our pets, 3 from puppyhood until passing & always was right on the money with every problem we had with each. Their treatment & recommendations were always exactly what was needed at that time & never suggested tests or treatments that were overly expensive unless absolutely necessary & then cost was always reasonable. If your problem arises at a time when the vets cannot be there or feel you need a specialist they tell you exactly where to go for extra help. Everyone in this office and the doctor and his associates are very professional and the doc calls you back when you have a question and will see you that same day if you need to come in. He explains any problems your dog has and never rushes you. This is the better than best vet I’ve ever been to. I also believe if we didn’t go to them our dog would have died 6 months earlier and she was also not suffering . My other dog he diagnosed her over the phone and put her on a medication rite away. Upon calling Veterinary Health Care Center the staff was friendly and professional. I arrived to the immaculately clean office with my extremely nervous rescue dog, was quickly escorted to the exam room and greeted by Dr. Cataldi, his experience and kind nature immediately shown through, he was compassionate and understanding of her fears and, where several other vet's had not, he knew just what to do for my suffering dog's recurring ear infections. We are so grateful for Dr. Cataldi - he has a vast amount of experience and has helped us with our Yorkie, Bella, on a couple of emergency situations these last two years. He and his staff are highly professional. They listen attentively to all our concerns and the office is kept very clean at all times. I’ve been taking my dog and guinea pigs to VHC for over a year. I even moved farther and still take my pets to VHC because I trust them so much! My dog never liked going to the vet and now she’s so excited once we park outside their office. All of the staff treats her so well and they all give her so much love. I could not be happier with Dr. Cataldi and his staff.i had adopted a very young kitten that presented with white gums, lethargy, diarrhea, teary eyes and a general failure to thrive. She was 1 lb.within 7 days my healthy cat at home shared exactly the same symptoms. Although I was not yet a client I had an appointment for the kitten within a day and a half. The large animal hospital I had been going to for 40 years had "nothing available". I brought both cats although I had an appointment only for one and was welcomed. Dr cataldi diagnosed the problem immediately through his decades of experiences, dispensed the drugs on the spot and within 3 days they both were tremendously better . The charges were more than reasonable..MORE than reasonable. I could not be happier.

Dr. Cataldi gave me his personal cell number to call him if/when I ever a problem when she was a puppy, and, that day did eventually come and when it did, Dr. Cataldi answered his cell and gave me the guidance needed. ....and it was on a Sunday night! Fluffy is now almost 14 years old and she is still in great health. His practice provides the absolute best Veterinary care you could ever hope to find for your pet. The costs are very reasonable for anyone wondering about costs. If you love your pet, go there for your pet care. I love this practice and give them the highest recommendation possible. It is a no frill practice but that's why we love them: no flat screen TV or pet toys for sale or other gimmicks just great care for us the clients and our beloved pets. I have not enough words to thank this clinic. They are very cordials and friendly. when I came to this clinic my puppy was 4 months old and very sick from internal infection. I had a doctor from other place treated my dog but after a month noticed that puppy got worst to the point of badly chest congestion. so decided to try this clinic . Doctor were very professional offering a x-ray to find the problem and the right treatment. they were very helpful giving tips and medications how to help my puppy feel better. they saved my puppy life. This first visit was a quick post op check after spay surgery. We were called quickly after arrival. Tech was very good with my dog. Doc was quick but thorough. He too, was good with the dog who is sometimes skittish. The whole visit was less than 30 minutes. Overall a great experience. Hope things are as good if we ever have to go in for something other than a well visit. We were told to come back in a year for next rabies vaccine, however according to her immunization record one vaccine is needed in Aug so we'll return in a few months.

His Vet assistants in the exam rooms are also great people. You know that they care about the pets and they also care about the owners who are so concerned about their pets. They assisit the Dr. but they also make you aware of what is taking place and at times will ask for your assistance by speaking to the pet or holding them in a certain way. The staff and MD's are compassionate to your needs for your pets. The environment is clean. Love Dr. Cataldi; he has been a great help. My one dog is epileptic and constantly has to receive medication refills which are a breeze to obtain from the office. My other dog suffered from corneal ulcers and had to get two surgery's on both eyelids to prevent further corneal damage. The surgeries were a success. Prices are decent but the service isn't that great. I've been there with both of my pets and from the moment I walk in, it is almost like I'm disturbing the receptionist. I've seen the same vet every time and he doesn't seem very forthcoming with information. Unless I ask questions, nothing was said to me. I'm a new pet owner, so I was unsure of what to ask. A little bit of information on proper care would have been nice, instead of feeling like I'm bothering them with so many questions.

I am a very satisfied and happy customer of the services of the Veterinary Healthcare Center of Clifton. Dr Cataldi is knowledgeable and caring. My two cats felt his respect and did not meow as he examined them. Dr Cataldi explained his diagnoses clearly and looked for the least invasive treatments. Dr Cataldi and his staff saw me through my sorrow of having to put my first cat down. The fees at the Center are reasonable and the rooms clean and cheery.

I've had Milo (Chihuahua Terrier mix) for 7 years now. Getting vaccines & nails clipped is usually chaotic. He won't allow you to put a muzzle on & gets crazy (biting, growling, crying...almost sounds like he's screaming) if you attempt to clip his nails. So I scheduled the appointment with sedation. Appointment was @8am, in the room by 8:05am, and was out before 8:40am. The quickest & calmest visit ever. The vet & assistant were ao calm & patient. NO SEDATION needed because they were so good. My cat Clare had kidney failure. She needed daily fluid injections, but would always fight it when I tried to give them to her at home. Dr. Cataldi took the time to help me out with that by giving her the fluids at his office. Most of those visits were free of charge. Clare was not a very cooperative patient, but Dr. Cataldi and his assistant always handled her in a most professional and gentle manner. Dr. Cataldi never tried to make me spend more than necessary on Clare's treatments or on her final expenses, when I eventually had to put her to sleep. I have had wonderful experiences with the staff and Dr. Cataldi at VHCC. I was looking for an avian vet on google and they came up. I called, spoke with a very helpful lady who fit my cockatiel, Larry, in right away. The next day when I visited the office, the first thing I noticed was that it was very clean. Because my appointment was squeezed in due to urgency, I did have a little bit of a wait but not long at all. Dr. Cataldi was very gentle with my bird, attentive to our story and straightforward with his directions for care. He asked to see the us in a week to check progress. I was able to make a follow up appointment quickly and the charges for services were very affordable. About four days after our visit, I noticed a few behaviors that Dr. Cataldi told me to watch out for and called to be seen earlier than our scheduled appointment. Once again, the lady I spoke with was so pleasant and fit us in right away. We were seen almost immediately. Dr. Cataldi was friendly, attentive and pleased with Larry's progress despite his feather picking. He was fitted carefully with an e-collar, given some medicine and we were on our way. The follow ups appointments continue to be easily made and the charges were absolutely reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this office for feathered friends!

Dr. Cataldi and his staff are excellent. We started seeing them about 18 months ago after we purchased our first parrotlet. Only a few weeks we notice our bird seemed sick and took him to Dr Cataldi. Turns out he was born with with clamida. For two weeks Dr Cataldi treated him daily then weekly for two months and his rates were very reasonably. Saved my birds life and he has been doing great since.

They took awesome care of our pup. Removed a wart that we were quoted would cost 1,200 to remove for under 200 dollars. Other vet's told us they would need to put our pup under anesthesia in order for removal. This was removed same day with just a few stitches and some pain killers.

Great, no nonsense place, quick in and out. They don't overcharge like most other places do, and even talk you out of unnecessary shots/procedures that other vets 'guilt-trip' you into. Do wish they were a bit more thorough in their checkups. Still, can't really complain, and my dog loves going there :).

I had lost a pet to heart disease years ago so when Willow, my 7 yr old mix started coughing more and more I was afraid to bring her in. The dr did confirm that she did have heart disease. I was devistated. But the dr educated my husband and myself about the different stages of the disease and assured us that Willow can live many more years with the stage that she is at. I would definitely would recommend this vet.

I picked up a lost little Yorkie running loose towards Van Houten right outside the Heath care center. He had a obviously gotten out and was wandering towards a very busy street. On my way to work on foot my only option was to bring him inside. The receptionist was able to find the owner with information on his tags and he was returned. A wonderful staff work here. I can only hope that if my pooch is ever in that same situation he will run in to such caring individuals.
