Let me start off by saying this office is one of the cleanest. I’ve been to a lot of offices and hospitals and this was by far one of the neatest establishments . Not only are they clean, but the staff truly care about all their patients. Dr Yasin was amazing , and provided such wonderful care. To the point, fair prices, and best of all looking out for your pets health first. My first visit made me feel like I had already been visiting for years. Highly recommend! Do not hesitate, your animal will be in great hands.

I will definitely be coming here from now on for my senior dog. The staff was lovely, patient and most importantly respectful of my Oreos boundaries. They answered all my questions and are very straightforward with prices which I appreciate. I feel safe, I know my Oreo is safe and I can tell they care for their animal patients.

AMAZING vets. Truly ones that care. Amber and Dr. Herron are awesome. Helped us with our cat Mittens through so much during her fight with cancer. They really cared about her and you could tell. They tell you everything you need to know and break everything down for you. Will be bringing my other cat Georgie in soon for a checkup:) appreciate you guys.

Max out beautiful Yorkie had to be put down he would have been 17 October 13. We had him since he was 2 years old. His last few months with us were hard for him and we were devastated to let him go. I called many places explaining what the situation was, I was given an appointment at another place in our area. The day of they cx on me even though I was quoted an extremely high amount of $. Desperate to end his suffering I called a few places. One was in Nutley and was willing to put my baby down for a mere $958! My next call was to the Clifton Ave Animal Hospital. Let me tell you! I spoke to a receptionist who was kind and informative and once I explained my situation, gave me an appointment for the next day. She quoted me what it would cost me for everything which I was floored! All in all under $250! Only because my dog was not a patient and had to have an initial evaluation. My daughter and I got to be with Max for every second of his departure which was beyond heartbreaking for us! But from techs to doc, they were nothing but wonderful. I now have 2 cats and would not think of going anywhere else but there! Thank you to whole staff.

I’ve been taking my dog Peligro here for years and everytime every part of the staff has been so kind and caring from the receptionists, the vet techs, to the doctors. Everything is so clean and every visit is a great experience. I highly recommend this office to everyone I know who has a pet!

I wish I could give this place 5 stars but the reason I won't is because they tend to push and sell things that aren't needed right away or are crucial for treatment. I went here with my grandparents senior dog and they did unnecessary tests. I know this because I spoke to another vet and they were confused as to why they charged me for it. I even told them I don't have a lot of money and had to pay with care credit. I suggest other vets first such as Parkview or Dr Cataldi. Response to owner: Thank you for responding, but by you saying your doctors are never pushy, specifically Monica, you are making me seem like a liar and that my experience is not valid. Please strive to do better so that clients can feel comfortable coming here.

I don’t know where to start with this office, I have been bringing my Chow Chow (Prince) for over a year now. I can’t thank the Dr. Yasin and his staff enough. From the front desk staff (Monica) to the gentleman that does the X-rays, to his assistant. I bough my Prince in very sick with excessive anal bleeding and diarrhea. They treated him as if he was their own. I will forever be thankful to the whole entire staff, and will continue to bring my dog here. Since the visit they have been on top of Prince well being and answering any questions I have had about his diet. I recommend the Vet office to anyone that is lookin for not only a great place but also affordable. :)

I love the staff here at Clifton Ave Animal Hospital, they’re always very welcoming and friendly. The vets here are also very friendly, kind, dedicated and informative. I appreciate that they take the time to listen to my concerns, perform a thorough exam of my pets, as well as they make sure I understand all the information provided to me. I bring all my pets here, recently my dog required surgery and Dr Yasin was great! He went through the procedure step by step with me and gave me all the information I needed to know, I felt more than comfortable with the decision and knew my fur baby was in good hands! Right after the surgery, Dr Yasin made sure to call me to update me on the status of my fur baby which I greatly appreciated. Him and the staff followed up with me to make sure my fur baby was holding up good his first post op days. They made me feel comfortable to call them with any concerns I had. I am happy to say my fur baby is doing amazing and he’ll be going in for his post op visit this week. If you’re looking for great vets with great staff who genuinely love animals, Clifton Ave Animal Hospital is the place to go!

The vet techs took in my pup within the first five minutes after we arrived/checked in. Staff is very friendly & more than happy to answer questions. Making appointments at the front desk with the receptionist afterwards was very easy. The office is well kept and the service is wonderful all around. I continued taking my pup here as per my cousin’s advice and opinion about the location; I would recommend it to anyone looking for or switching to a new vet for their pet

I really like this vet. It’s not too hard to get an appointment when you need one and they have a vaccine clinic on Mondays so if you need only vaccine(s) you don’t have to pay for a visit—You just pay for what you got. Plus they’re open on weekends.

I started coming here when my cat got really sick and the male doctor was really helpful and explained everything clearly and with confidence. The receptionists and veterinary assistants are so caring and lovely to work with. I worked with Dr. Herron the last time my cat was sick and she couldn’t give me any answers or tell me what was wrong. The next day I brought my cat to the Animal hospital on route 3 and they told me exactly what was wrong and what my next steps were. It’s really nice to have answers when it comes to my fur babies.

It's a pretty good place. I know there was a lot of confusion and misunderstanding in the beginning. I first made my review but I was upset because there was a communication problem and I came from New York without easy transportation. I liked that they realized it and then this female (so sweet) Ashley explained things to me clearly. With that I'm bringing my other lil dog to get her teeth cleaned soon. I'm very satisfied with there service and how they took care of my baby. I'm on a very low budget and on disability so they helped me very well. I really like Dr Herren. She's very understanding and I felt calm after knowing my baby was perfect and clean. I'm making this my future Vet place. It's worthed even if I have to take public transportation here. I came here not really knowing how much money I was going to pay for the services I needed for my dog, no pricing info available on their website and front desk couldn’t give me a quote when I called them; which is understandable. I have had experience with Dr Yasin and Monica in the past at their previous workplaces and they were always professional and reliable. When my current vet who has a “wellness plan” just never had time for me or my pets, couldn’t take us for any type of immediate reason, and would let my pets sit in cages all day until they finally did take the time to see them, I just had it. I knew we I had to go to people I trusted and that would take time to care for my animals properly. No more fast-food type care for us. Clifton Animal hospital is everything you want and more. The staff there are so kind and welcoming, they take time with you to explain things, and they are totally up front about your pets care. I won’t ever let anyone care for my dogs again except for the staff at Clifton. Thank you so much for getting me seen so quickly when I called and for all the extra things you do to go out of your way to make us fur-parents comfortable. This was not the vet for me. Felt like a Vavoline for animals. I’ve been here 2 times for shots. Will not go back. Front desk was cold, vets kept calling my girl puppy “Kyle” when her name was “Kylie” .. they gave her the shots and said nothing else. It was my first time with her and with this vet. Didn’t feel like they really cared about us, only the money. 3 stars because it was easy to get the appointment, the wait wasn’t that long, and they asked to make sure I didn’t want a 1k bill of things she already had listed in her file.

I visited today with my 3 week old puppy Chance. The staff was super nice the front desk receptionist was friendly and made conversation and made me feel welcomed. The doctor was running a bit late but they were super friendly put me in a room gave my puppy a blanket played with him. The doctor came in and gave the dog an edema he was constipated he pooped all over her coat but she didn’t make a big fuzz. The price wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I would highly recommend. We have decided to stay with them as our primary vet for Chance.

Can't say I've had a negative experience with anyone at this practice. Everyone is very friendly and they obviously care about the animals they treat. My cat is older and especially cranky and they did everything possible to not stress her out. The vet is upfront with costs and seeing the itemized list helps me understand what the plan is for my pet. I've been to other vets where work is done and at the end the bill is enormous and I don't even know what it was for until I've paid and then received a breakdown. I will continue to keep bringing my cat and future pets to this office for sure.

I have another vet but came here because my vet had no appointments for nearly a month! The team at Clifton Ave. Animal Hospital gave me an appointment within two days due to the holiday weekend. They were professional, friendly and courteous. The show charges before doing procedures and offer informative education to help care for your pet. The establishment was clean and they had many repeat customers in the office. I will come back and would recommend them to everyone!

Great place. My dog Koda has been sick for two weeks and our previous vet could not see him at any one of their many locations even though they were telling me that he needed to be seen ASAP. I was calling them every day and they kept telling me that they were vet understaffed. I called Clifton Animal Hosp and they gave me an appointment for the very next day. I left their With three medication‘s and a new diet with a follow up appointment in two weeks and a vaccine that my previous vet said my dog didn’t need. It’s only been 24 hours and my dog is significantly getting better. Everyone there was caring and knowledgeable. The vet took her time going over the many issues he was having. This is a wonderful place.

Last year I took my new cat into a vet. Since it was during COVID I was not able to go in. My cat fought them to let them examine him. After spending a lot of money I was told that all his teeth had to go. But I said no, so they gave him an antibiotic shot which worked. A year later I needed to have my cat treated again. That vet wasn't allowing people in but Clifton Ave Animal Hospital was. And when I met the doc and the tech, Mick Jagger Kitty was calm, allowed them to pick him up. Nuzzled them, and they examined him. He does need one tooth pulled but they also said he had an infection and we had another option until the tooth could be pulled. They listened to me as a pet parent and listened to the cat. I am so happy I chose them. There is no need for pet parents to be outside while their animals are inside. This Vet understands that. They know that we are an important part of our animals well being. We were fully masked, and I felt safe.

I am thoroughly impressed with Dr. Yasin and the incredible receptionist! They treat my kitten, Daisy, with so much love and care, and it’s such a nice feeling to know your pets is in good hands. The doctor takes his time to go through everything, including pricing before proceeding. The front desk receptionist could not be nicer - give that girl a raise, her customer service is phenomenal! For all the new comers, the outside looks super sketchy and the pavement/parking is rough, but do not let it deter you. By far the best service in town!

We went to this facility looking for a new vet as our previous vet had retired.Lo and behold we found many members of the staff where we used to go are now working here. What a pleasant surprise.His vet tech immediately recognized our dog. Dr Yasin examined our Maggie and we were so pleased how through he was and how he shows a genuine love of animals. He spent a lot of time and didn't rush us at all. What we paid for the treatment seemed very reasonable to me. If you looking for a quality vet at reasonable rates come here. They are very good with appointments and getting sooner appointments rather than waiting weeks. I went to get my cats claws clipped (say that 5 times fast lol) and on the way home she was acting weird so I called back and they told me to turn around and come back and they saw her right away. I have a very sweet 17 year old cat who is an absolute nightmare at vet offices. The doctors and staff are amazing with him!! They're so patient and loving even when he's hissing and swatting at them. They really care about their patients. The office is clean and they have the cutest little resident kitties.

Very highly recommend!! I brought my beagle here to be fixed and was extremely impressed start to finish. Any worries I had about my pet going in for surgery were gone after the first visit. It is easy to tell that that everyone working here loves animals and will care for your pet like it is their own. I also truly appreciated how well they operated during the COVID-19 distance restrictions. We never waited more than a few minutes for a vet technician to visit our car, to give paperwork or pickup our pet. We will definitely be returning to Clifton Ave Animal in the future!

I have been bringing my fur child here for about 3 years and I have always felt like my boy was being taken care of by compassionate professionals who honestly care about his health and my pockets. I took my 5 month old Lab, Nala here this morning for the first time. The staff at the front were professional and responsive. I believe it was a tech who I spoke to first, and she was great! Dr. Yasin is a great doctor... you can tell he cares about you and your pets. He definitely has knowledge!! I feel that I can trust him. He has great bedside manner. And I think Dr. Yasin is kind and fair. I had a bad experience with another Doctor in this facility. She was not rude but she came across as incompetent, she didn’t help my dog and she offered absolutely zero, no solutions. We went back home with no medicine and no recommendations. (My dog had allergies was itching all over) Again, this lady Doctor was not rude. Perhaps she is an amazing Doctor and maybe she was just having a bad day, or was tired. (We were the last appointment of the day) . Doctor Yasin is a real blessing and end up giving us a solution on another day.( We had to make another appointment and so we paid twice). Another special aspect about this place is that they do follow up calls, If your dog had a visit regarding an illness or special procedure, expect to receive a call from them just to inquire about the status of the patient (I truly appreciate that). But here comes the only CONSTANT negative aspect about this place. Some of the ladies that answer the phone. Again, SOME, bc there are also helpful, professional and respectful ladies behind that front desk.(There are two ladies that are very professional). But the MAJORITY of the times when you call this place... there is an unjustified attitude of rudeness and disregard towards the client from some of the ladies that answer the phone.I know that we all have frustrations and challenges in our lives... but you can’t bring your frustrations, deceptions or disappointments to the workplace. It is not fair to us The clients. Specially if we are respectful and courteous. I noticed that it is very hard for some of the ladies on the phone to be courteous. Just know that we are not the enemy calling on the phone...Clients are an essential part of any business. Plus ... we are not dealing with objects here, we are caring for and treating sentient beings, family members, fur children, best friends and only companions.

I have never seen a more caring team, i can call anytime, and always been helped with any question,or concern i had with my dogs. I recently took Lilycharm for surgery, with the best Dr., Dr.Yasin, and i knew my dog would be in the best care. He always takes the best care of my dogs needs,and goes above and beyond, because he truly cares. I can name 3 offices my other 2 dogs i had in the past, that in those other doctors hands, my 2 previous dogs passed away from misdiagnoses. So i am very protective of my 2 dogs i have now. I also understand in these times it can get a little crazy specially with the hours being limited. This is not Dr Yasin fault at all. He is great. Prices are great and the people that work there are so friendly and caring. I was freaking out about my dog going under for two procedures. Immediately after the procedure, DR Yasin called me to let me know he was just fine. I was so releaved, they give him antibiotics and even called to see how he was doing the following day and scheduled a two week followup. I honestly dont know many vets that do that. Most are money hungry, I truly feel that they care about your pet.

Don't let the location throw you off. The lot looks run down and there are no painted lines for parking. Walking in, I instantly feel calm and relaxed with the friendly receptionist and an in-house cat who greets you at the front desk. I came in, during their emergency weekend hours, for my cats problems with frequent urination and they saw me almost immediately. She was tested and the Dr. explained (in detail) his concerns, and prescribed medications. The vet also suggested alternate food options to help without selling me in their in-house veterinarian product. And the follow-up after the medications was just that, a follow-up. No extra frills on unnecessary tests and labs. Just checked my little one out and sent her home. Definitely coming back if I need help.

Edit: for those wondering about their policies, I posted a pic taken from the white board they have in the office. It's always hard to find a new vet, especially when you have ones that you already love. Since Oradell was too far from our home, my fiance found this vet to take our kitties to. It's a small office, but clean and very friendly. It's decently priced, and they dispense medication on site. The staff has always been prompt and courteous, and they love animals. (Seems like it goes with the territory, but not everyone who works at a vet's office likes pets.) The vet diagnosed my kitty with a heart murmur, as well as damaged alveoli in his lungs which was a complication from the pneumonia he'd had prior to me rescuing him. Prior to this, the vets I had seen always diagnosed him with asthma. It was good to finally have a definitive answer. I'm glad we found this vet. Just be aware that costs are a little pricier if you walk in or are an emergency visit (to be expected). Make sure you call ahead for an appointment, and check their website for first time discounts and information on their services. They're really great!

We just got 2 puppies and took them both for check up and get them up to date on vaccines. Now here is my review: Place: the office is located in a run down looking lot. But the office itself is very nice and very clean. Staff: I first spoke to Leen on the phone for info and appt. She was very pleasant and informative. Gave me a great idea of what to expect and explained their prices. The staff at the place seem very welcoming and friendly. I really liked the tech Mohammed. Seems to really know his stuff and answered all our questions. The doc was not very talkative but did what he had to do. Thorough evaluation and answered our questions. Price: we are extremely grateful for their free first exam. That was a money saver. Price of poop evaluation on the other hand was quite pricey. Vaccine prices are a wee bit on the higher end. But I feel it all balanced out. Their office visit fee is fair. On Mondays they do vaccines with no office visit fee which is pretty cool. So again, it makes their prices overall reasonable. Wait Time: really awesome! We waited about 30 minutes. Overall: we are a family of 6 not including pups. So cost is really important, as is good service. The clinic is about 35 minutes from home. But we all enjoyed our visit and I hope we found our doc for the rest of their lives. This is a fair and thorough review. Hopefully it helps make up your decision when choosing a vet. Thumbs up from us.

My Snickers went in for teeth cleaning on 11/16/18. It was alarming for me because next month he will be 13 years old although my pumpkin still looks like a puppy. Dr Yasin was comfortable in doing the procedure, he checked everything he needed to check prior to using the anesthesia. I prayed that God would help him and the staff to give him good care. Thank God everything went well! My Snickers had 4 teeth pulled, because they were bad and loose. Animal Parents please take care of your dogs teeth. I wasn't aware in how much I needed to be on top of it, until now. Either way Snickers is pretty healthy for being almost 13 yrs. thanks to a loving family and quality food like Blue Buffalo. Listen I'm not a fan of doing reviews, this is probably my 2nd and it's because they were really good with Snickers who usually doesn't like to be touch by strangers but he did so well with the Dr. and Destiny who is so sweet. Kathy(sorry if your name is not spelled correctly) you were also awesome and informative. Thank you Elizabeth for the information on how to take care of my dog at home after procedure. Feel comfortable coming here if you haven't yet. I looked them up read their reviews and felt comfortable in going and felt that way when leaving. Any problems I have with my dogs, Snickers and Miazelia in the future, they will be seeing Dr. Yasin and his staff. Don't change but improve with every experience and your office will continue to be successful. I will always recommend Clifton Ave Animal Hospital to Family and Friends. This animal hospital really stands out for their high professionalism and they put animal's health first which is outstanding. When my 9 year old dog got seriously sick (pyometra) I brought her here and I'm so glad I found them! Dr. Yasin performed the surgery which was 100% successful. Another doctor (can't remember her name unfortunately) conducted check-ups and was very helpful as well. The rest of the staff (Jessica) were very professional as well. To top it all, the price for a complicated surgery was much more affordable compared to other animal hospitals! Thank you for bringing my dog back to health !

Kind and compassionate. I'm editing to add more specifics. They saw my rescue dog after we'd been told by another vet that he had several bad illnesses with little hope. Dr. Yasin didn't sugar coat his issues, but he did come up with a treatment plan. Now, more than a month later, my dog is on the road to recovery. We are so thankful for everyone at this office. Everyone seems to truly care about their patients (and are very patient with their anxious owners!). We are very, very thankful for this practice!

UPDATE: so i recently recieved a call from Dr yasin very apologetic on the situation with my cat & i appreciate that with all my heart, he gave us the chance of bringing my cat back in for another examination and WE FINALLY GOT AN ANSWER!! my muffins is getting better day by day now with her cone & the correct medication needed i thank god we finally have a diagnosis thank you so much DR.yasin see you soon! :) I am extremely upset with this place and there services I brought my cat in for a visit due to extreme itching & loss of hair , The young lady at the front desk is friendly but the lady to the left of her with glasses is extremely rude ! I arrived early for my appointment so she had a attitude to begin with anywhoo I met the dr wich was a female and she was very nice they checked my cat muffins and told us they had to do a fungal culture which was fine at the time, I brought her back for a second visit where they did the fungal culture but 1 red flag I did not like was I couldn’t even be with my cat while she got that testing done they made us wait in the waiting room while they did ( whatever it is they did ) now my cat comes out with a tiny pink mark no skin showing , we were told we had to wait two weeks for the results , we leave with no answers after paying 175 okay no problem I’ll wait two weeks to see what the results are, while the two weeks are passing my cat is getting worst day by day and kept itching so bad that now she has flesh skin showing , my mom goes in to pick up her medicine because now I’m told she has to be put on steroids STILL NOT KNOWING WHY SHES ITCHING SO MUCH and she shows them the picture of how her skin is looking now after there “culture” and everyone wants to give her the run around and not speak to her tell her the dr is coming out to speak to her , and two minutes later he supposedly in surgery so OFCOURSE we still leave with no answers. I’m so so so upset my poor cat is going through this and now I have to spend more money on another vet so they can actually do the testing that is needed !!! 😩😞😡

My Dog has a Hemorrhagic Bulge and grew and infection. The pain was PUS filled and Red in a few days. I immediately took him to Dr.Yasin where he explained in detail what these “Doctors or Surgeons” did. Although he explained that kind of surgery is common, the manner in which their procedure was performed was inadequate. Dr.Yasin Kept him overnight. And Corrected the Surgery. The Wound Looked amazing. He dressed it so well and in 3 weeks my dog was Happy and New Again. The Best Place to take your Dog is here. The Place is Always Clean and Smells Great. Amazing Staff and are always at our Disposal to help us. My Only wish is I wish this Place was Hospital Big. So all these dogs can experience Dr.Yasins level of Care and Love.

I don’t even know where to begin!.....on 6/6/18 my baby the love of my life my cat Luña 🌙started with seizures I did not know what to do it’s 4:30 am and I’m in total shock and heart broken in tears holding her convulsions in my arms😭 and praying so hard, I could not bare to watch her in pain.! I picked up my phone and googled best pet in Passaic County NJ “mind you I’m praying 🙏🏽 to God for help” and the first name that popped up was Clifton Ave Hospital🤩 as soon as 9am hit the clock I called and I could barely speak I was crying and I heard Monica say “thank you for calling how can I make your pet better” as soon as I mumbled the words I need help my cat is have seizures she said come in as soon as you can! I rushed over holding my baby Luña and 👩🏽‍💻 Monica knew exactly who I was I’ve never met her she took Luña straight to the back and came back out to get me I met 👩🏽‍⚕️Dr.Tamara Herron and her tech 👩‍💼 I wish I knew her name” they started medical treatment ASAP gave Luña a shot for seizures started blood work I was so surprised because all they cared about was my poor baby Luña they didn’t even ask “ do you have money before we begin” my baby was their top priority! I was left in a room while they worked on Luña and I was greeted by the clinic pet cat Jordan 🐱 💕he was so warm and basically put a smile on my face trying to tell me don’t worry she is in the best hands!! Monica kept coming in the room asking me if I needed water and gave me a box of tissue it felt like I was in a different world usually every other vet I went to were very cold and not caring I felt Luña was in the best hands!! Today is the next day and Luña has no seizures thank God she is still weak but the medication they sent me home with is working. I just can’t find the perfect words to say how thankful we are how amazing they were and they are truly a God sent to us!!! I love love them they saved my baby Luña this is the best Vet place EVER! I recommend this place the whole staff were so caring and everyone knew who we were they are so warm loving and caring I can’t wait to call them tomorrow because they are closed on Thursday just to say thank you so much and if I can pay it forward just to volunteer my time to help their clinic I’m willing I just can’t thank them enough if you care about your special fur friend this is the place to go. 💕💕💕🐶🐱 thank you Sincerely, Luña and family 🐱👩🏻🙋🏻‍♂️
