I can’t say enough good things about this vet. Every time my dogs had an issue we’d always be able to be seen that day. Since I was a NOLA transplant they coordinated with my dog’s prior vet’s office to ensure he was getting the best care possible. I never second guessed the treatment my pets received. Unfortunately, I had to relocate for work and I miss them! Don’t take your pets anywhere else! Best vet in Nola!!

I only did boarding for my dog so I can't speak on the veterinarian side, yet. They took really good care of my dog, sent pics of his stay and I was able to chat with them through their app, which was cool. He even received a bath before I picked him up. I'll definitely board with them again.

Five stars aren't even enough. I was visiting NOLA and my puppy became sick. ARK saw me immediately and took amazing care of her. The office was extremely clean and the staff was absolutely amazing friendly and professional. The Vet explained everything in detail and went over the costs BEFORE administering tests. Plus, they had a groomer on site to bathe her before taking her home (she was sick and it was all in her doodle coat). Then, they called to check on her. I am extremely pleased with ARK.

We recently moved back to New Orleans and have been looking to establish a relationship with a great vet. We tried another before we were referred to Ark. I absolutely love them! Dr. Carroll immediately greeted our dog Rupert on the floor and made sure he was super comfortable and loved! I could see how much all the staff cares for the animals. The lobby and exam room was super clean, which was a big plus. And I love their coupons and opportunities for discounts to help cut costs for their clients. So glad we found Ark!

I love this hospital and staff so much. Two of my fur babies have had medical emergencies close within one another and Ark Animal Hospital took great care of them, right away. One of my babies needed an emergency procedure that every other hospital denied due to the timing and personal resources of their facility, but I called Ark and they had her in surgery the very next morning and done by that afternoon. They kept me updated on her progress and communicated everything with me in a way I would understand. They also answered all of my questions and provided excellent post surgery assistance regarding rx. Both babies are doing better than ever. I always look forward to visits with Ark. Always greeted with a smile, always timely, and professional. They also told me about their app and I love it! Establish your pet with Ark ASAP

Getting a puppy has been a learning process for me, and the staff at this clinic has made it as easy and enjoyable as can be. They really truly care for every creature (including you) who walks through their door. I've seen both vets, and can't say enough good things about both of them. Recently, my puppy, who apparently does not have a very discerning palate, decided to eat a ton of pebbles. They quickly navigated the situation, and 2 days later he was good to go.

Such efficient, compassionate and knowledgeable staff here! Peyton and the team really helped me out recently with a diagnosis for our cats and the results were immediately emailed, RX documentation so I knew what to alert the parents and other vet for, constant updates and professionalism. They made me aware the vet I use periodically dropped the ball on a few things I had zero awareness of! Highly recommend!!!

I love Ark Animal. When my dog Tank was diagnosed with lymphoma Dr. Carrol was there every step of the way to help with whatever he could. When Tank passed away a month after finding out the office reached out. I recommend him to anyone and everyone that is looking for a good vet. I will not go anywhere else even if I move out of state. My first time there this morning. Staff were excellent extremely kind and helpful. Dr Landry and her nurse was absolutely wonderful. I finally found a veterinarian that took time with me and had patients with my yapping dog. Very clean. Was really happy with my visit.

I originally went to this vet for a 2nd opinion on a diabetic cat, and I made a REALLY good decision! I've gone to them regularly ever since. Dr. Zach taught me to give an insulin injection and encouraged me to be confident. I became a pro at it in no time. The staff (every single one) is knowledgeable, compassionate, gentle, kind, respectful, accommodating, and professional. They always follow up with you throughout your pet's issue. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I depend on them like they are a utility company. They have helped me and SO many of my pets. 🐱🐶❤

ArK was so sweet. The helped us when our dog was sick. Sadly, she had to be put to sleep. It was a terrible outcome, but our vet at Ark was amazing. He was so empathetic and caring. Both him and the vet tech explained the procedure and and the vet even stayed and laid on the floor and held our dog as she passed. They were lovely and I can’t recommend them enough.

Experienced and caring staff. Online meds are convenient as well as their operating hours. They have so much to offer your pets but are never pushy with treatments, very helpful in guiding your decisions. The decisions I make for my pets have a great deal of thought and information obtained from their input. They have been caring for my 12 year old lab since he was a puppy and now giving him senior care. His current good health is due to the staff at Ark.

Unlike other places I have been, the facility is sparkling new, very clean. The staff is extremely knowledgeable, and the service is highly individualized. All aspects of the care delivered to your pet are explained in detail, and in the instances of serious issues with your pet, a detailed outline of care is delivered, inc. costs. Very pleased to date, and anticipate a long relationship with the folks at this facility.

I've been using Ark Animal Hospital for my dogs ever since they opened. Their service is consistently excellent and caring. I strongly recommend them. Frequently when I bring my pets in, there is some interaction going on between the staff and animal rescue folks, which somewhat mitigates the cost and makes me feel good about going to Ark. I know some folks have expressed reservations about costs. Quality vet care is not cheap, and I doubt that providers have control over most of their expenses.

My dog was misdiagnosed. Anyone can make a mistake but.... When i called back 2 days later as the eye had gotten worse, i explained to the receptionist how the dog was doing. We were disconnected the first time i called and she seemed annoyed that i called back. Said she would have the Dr. Call me. I'm still waiting. I called another vet and she practically diagnosed over the phone from my description. She had Glaucoma and was treated for an infection. She already had one eye removed for the same disease at this office by another Dr. That should have been hint that a bulging eye wasnt and infection. It's the non caring and no call back that made this mistake even more horrific. Dr Carroll was the vet that did the first eye surgery on her and i do still highly recommend him. He's a great Dr. I would like to update my review. After speaking with Dr Carroll and others on the staff I brought Jamie back to see him. He did a very thorough exam on her and gave her medicine for her eye. I was very pleased with how they handled this. They monitor reviews and take them seriously. I received a call Monday morning and they were very gracious and apologetic.They are going to make changes to be sure this won't happen again. So to make a long story short they did everything to make this right. I'm glad we got this straightened out because i really like Ark and didn't want to not go there anymore. Like i said in the other review Dr Carroll is a skilled vet and he also knows eyeballs inside and out. That's a plus. I was told they were getting updated equipment to diagnose Glaucoma and that can save your pets eyesight. I will recommend Dr. Carroll, his staff and Ark Animal Hospital. I believe they are sincere and really care about the pets we bring to them for treatment.

I was referred here by a friend. The staff is great and Dr. Carroll is excellent in communicating everything in a language I can understand and in a way that doesn't stress me out or make me worry. I feel like my cat is safe and in good hands here. When the appointment is complete, they send you home with a summary of the visit. I also really appreciate that appointments can be made online. I live deep in St. Bernard Parish and find this vet clinic worth the trip. I'm very happy to have been referred here.

Very detailed. Doc explained every thing to me. Then explained it to me like im 5 when i didnt get it. Even drew a diagram of my cats internals on the fly. They printed instructions on how to take care of my cats feeding tube, medication schedule, and feeding schedule. Bonus they had youtube search details for instructional videos. They ain't cheap but their service is definetly premium. All my animals are going here from now on.

They work with you as best as they can, and offer you credit methods should you qualify. They will always quote you BEFORE anything is done to give you as much time to work out anything you can for your fur baby. They will also offer you any other affordable alternatives to help you if they are available. The vets, and staff alone are worth every penny you'll spend with them. Having worked for another pet clinic in the area, I still CHOSE them bc of their compassion, patience, and genuine care and concern for my Bambi girl. They saved her life in a time when I honestly COULD NOT afford to pay for the services, and yet, they still managed to help me find a solution. I'll NEVER bring my pets anywhere else. I strongly urge you to give them a chance, and let them show you why they are the BEST!

Although I did not technically use their services by choice I have to give them a shout out for their incredible act of kindness they did for me during a very chaotic experience. While on vacation, my dog was staying with a friend and escaped from their house and ran away. The next day one of the vet technicians from Ark found her roaming around her neighborhood and took it upon herself to see if it was anyone's dog. When she realized it was a stray, she brought it to work with her where they read her chip and called me immediately to inform me they found her. Needless to say I was frantic (I didn't know at this point that my dog was even lost) and they were SO sweet and kind on the phone and explained the situation. They told me they would board her until I got back and take care of her (food and everything). Five days later when I returned I picked her up and the whole staff came to say goodbye to her and it melted my heart. I asked them what I owed for all of this (I was 100% set on paying for the everything) and they told me it was on them! Who does that?!? They were so compassionate and I could tell my dog had a great time with them. I will definitely be going back to them for any vet needs.. thank you Ark Animal Hospital, you all are amazing! :-)

They are beyond busy and still manage to be upbeat, friendly& compassionate. As low cost services are diminishing, this establishment is not giving up on care for animals in need. They gave me the time and attention I needed and even offered tips on how to trap the other 2 cats that got away. I'm impressed and very greatful for finding the Ark!

The pricing is very reasonable, they give you estimates on anything they think your pet needs before they do it and they do very thorough exams. If you cannot afford what your pet needs, they work with you on what needs to be prioritized and everyone in the staff was very friendly. Definitely the lowest prices I've seen at a vet in this area.

Great vet. We've been using them since 2009. Very happy with our service. There was been some changes in the actually vet we've seen the past 8 years but some of the support staff has remained the same and they are excellent. We have a 100+ pound rottweiler who can be a handful. They handle him like professionals and treat him and us with respect. We also board there, and even though we've moved to the northshore we still drive to old jefferson to use Ark b/c we like them that much.

We are currently displaced due to the floods of August 2016 in Tickfaw LA. now staying back in JP and our kitten Pepper needed to be neutered and this facility did an amazing job for FREE due to him being an inside and outside baby they tipped his ear and it cost nothing and he was given his rabies shot (part of being a responsible owner) Now I am able to bring my other kitty who's 6 year's old and getting his Comfortis (he's not easy to administer meds it takes 2-3 techs he's also an inside outside baby we don't just leave them )tommow then the other half of the pill can be given to Pepper at home. They were awesome when we needed Pepper fixed. I would highly recommend them and I am not the easy person when it comes to my family and pets that are our family so I just don't say good unless someone or something is worth recommending unless they are.

I had to make the hardest decision that any pet owner is faced with when their pet has a terminal illness. We were dealing with a very aggressive cancer that explosively grew within a 3 week period. The final visit was so respectful and peaceful for Zydeco that I left heartbroken, but knowing that he had the best care and that I made the best loving decision. I wish that if I were ever terminal that I could make the same decision for myself and have such a caring and respectful exit from this world. Dr. Rollie and the entire staff were amazing to my "Big Boy" and me. Dr. Rollie also performed a neuter/ Perineal Hernia Repair Surgery on my "Little Boy," a Red Heeler mix. AWESOME results! Anyone who has or has ever had a "Red" can tell you "no jumping and keep calm" are NOT in the Heeler vocabulary. Except for the still filling-in shave line, you would not know that he had surgery.

I have used ARK for over 5 years. After getting a quote for surgery on my dog at a Magazine Street clinic, I got a second opinion and quote from ARK. They were LESS THAN HALF of the quote for the exact same procedure. The MAGAZINE street quote was $1,700 and the ARK quote was $650 We used them for the surgery, and were so impressed with their care, that we switched vets permanently. I prefer Dr. Rollie or Dr. Zach. Both wonderful.

This is one of those places that is small , close nit with friendly careing staff , that take alot of time and attention out to give to you and your pet. Very reasonable pricing, safe anesthesia for your pet and very well trained staff. my experiences here have always been good, 3 years now ive been bringing my persian cat for reg shots and grooming.Dont let the older style building or the old town area it is in fool you. This is a good spot definitly

My animals love it. Their bedside manner is wonderful . I travel all the way from New Orleans East, just wish they were closer. Everyone is friendly and they know your name. Isn't that where we all wanna go a place " WHERE EVERYBODY KNOWS YOUR NAME".

Superb service that I have seen with one of my animals in my lifetime. My Rigby has had chronic diarrhea for over 5-weeks. My Vet for over 25-years disappointed me with his care for Rigby. Prayers to GOD lead me to the ARC Animal Hospital on Monday. Immediately when you entered the facility you felt a warmth of love. The staff and Dr. Vinnett were Angels to my Rigby. Since my visit there has been no sign of Rigby’s diarrhea. The medications and intestinal food worked immediately.
