I brought my toy poodle to Rockford Road and Dr. Morrow when she was 13 and her vet at another place had retired. I had an extremely difficult time finding a place as she had IBd and no one could accommodate her fluctuations or had the patience to deal with us/her. Both Dr. Morrow and the staff, vet techs were amazing with us. When the time came to put her to sleep at 14 years, 9 months, they helped me so much with the process. I am so grateful for the extra time they gave me with my girl, and for all the love and compassion they showed us.

We've recently discovered Rockford Animal Hospital as we were in search of a new vet for our dogs. We recently saw Dr. Mesa and she was phenomenal with our two dogs. She spent so much time individually with each dog and the visit was very informative. Having previous experiences with vets, this is by far the best treatment and the most attention we've received. We will be taking all three of our dogs there. Always on time, great communication, very transparent and caring!

Rockford Road is miles above our previous vet with fitting in appointments, minimal wait times, the friendliest staff, and excellent vets. One of our dogs had surgery, and it was handled so well. I absolutely LOVE RRAH! I have been taking my dogs (3) to this clinic for around 5 years and every visit has been a positive experience. Over the years my dogs have been treated by Dr. Morrow, Dr. Mesa, Dr. Arend, Dr. Warming and Dr. Cronick who have all provided compassionate, quality, and honest care. The customer service is presidential, to say the least! The gals at the front desk are always welcoming and friendly and their team of techs treat my dogs like celebrities (seriously, my dogs actually enjoy coming here)! Having a reliable and bully breed friendly clinic to take my dogs to has really made all the difference.

My pet was having diarrhea for a few days, so i decided to take him to the vet to get checked out. Most vet clinics were booked or only offered “pet drop offs” which i didn’t want to do because my pet gets separation anxiety and freaks out at the vet. Rockford animal hospital were the only ones allowing 1 person in with their pet which is why i decided to go with them. Their appointment fee was about $80 while the other one i had called before them was $50. So their visit fee is a bit more pricy but i considered it worth it if i got to go inside with my pet. The staff was very friendly and the place was neat and clean. The veterinarian examined my pup thoroughly to see what was wrong with him. They all seem like they cared about their job, and i liked that the vet technician was upfront about the cost and prices of their test/examinations. I had a good experience and hopefully my pet gets better after finishing his antibiotics! I would definitely recommend visiting them. :)

Best Veterinarian Clinic in town. I’ve had pets all my life and this is by far the best clinic I’ve ever been to. The staff and the doctors are great. They love on each animal and spend quality time with the owners. I moved 20 miles away, but I still drive back to Rockford Road Animal Hospital because of their excellent care. Rockford Road Animal Hospital also offers incredible support of service dogs and service dogs in training. Check them out, you will be glad you did.

I've been going to RRAH for roughly 24 years and I can't imagine taking my furry kids anywhere else! Everyone there, from the ladies at the desks to the techs to the doctors are amazing. I don't have to drag them in, they go in with tails wagging! We've been through it all from puppies to Crossing the Rainbow Bridge and I feel like I have family there. You will too! Great bunch of people!

After having a not so great experience with another vet, RRAH came very highly recommended by friends who spoke very high of the Doctors and Vet Techs. Each and every person on staff is always welcoming, pleasant, and the Doctors are very thorough in their exams and explanations to the pet owners on treatment plans. Watching the interaction and the "bedside manner" between multiple vet techs and the Doctor that have seen my dog has really reassured me that the folks at Rockford Road Animal Hospital are very invested in the care they give to these animals, and it shows. Hi! Anyone thinking of trying Rockford Road Animal Hospital would be doing their pet a great service! All of their vets are top notch! They will treat you and your pet with great respect. Like part of their family! I personally see Dr Cronick, she is great with my therapy animal and friend, Lilly. Lilly is a beautiful feline fur-baby, whom I treat like my kid. When I have a question about Lilly’s care I can always reach her doc. I can always leave a message and she gets back very quickly. When it comes to Lilly’s care, she also listen to how I feel about everything. Lilly has complex allergies and hearing issues. Lilly also has a dermatologist, so Dr Cronick has to work with what the other vet is doing. When her other doctor was unreasonable, she stepped up and helped me care for Lilly and answer questions. We now have a new dermatologist. Dr. Cronick always treats Lilly so kindly. Lilly is bit-of a scaredy-cat! Dr Cronick is always so patient. Always thinking of Lilly’s feelings. I have also brought other rescue kitties to see Dr Arend at the clinic as well. She is very kind and gentle. Must be a job requirement there, LOL! Their staff is they same. So, if you really need a place to take your pet in their time of need or well checks, this place is top notch. You will never feel uncomfortable, or unheard. Your pet will get the best care possible. And if you need a specialist, they can help you find one. Give you fur-baby some TLC and take them in for a checkup. I do so every year. It’s important!

I originally went to Rockford Road Animal Hospital because they participate with the Animal Humane Society and provide a free vet visit for newly adopted animals and was close to my apartment. I have since moved further away and still go to them. They discovered my cat had two torn ACLs in her back legs from her previous home that was causing her pain. We scheduled surgery and the doctor and vet techs updated me from start to finish and followed up frequently after. They also set me up with CareCredit to finance the surgery. Excellent experience with each visit.

Rockford road animal hospital is amazing! From the staff, to the environment and just overall care. We met so many caring & kind staff who genuinely love the animals they care for. We went in for a first checkup for my 8 week old puppy and she was met with so much love and care (she definitely won’t be scared of vets). Doctor Eileen Mesa is amazing! And so is her tech Jason! Dr Warming was able to book my German shepherd in right away. She discovered a lifelong condition during that first appointment. I am very grateful for her attention to detail and professionalism but she still made us feel as if she had always been our Doc. The ambience is warm and inviting thanks to such a welcoming staff. Rockford Road, is the best non emergency vet I have ever been too and it is not even close. I'm not a vet connoisseur but I have been in and out of many in many states and Rockford Road is still the best by far. We have been going to Rockford Road Animal Hospital for 13 years. The staff is very kind and they are always able to accommodate us, even when we had an emergency with our dog. About 7 years ago we adopted a dog from a shelter and we found out the next day that she needed major surgery. The staff was great and took the time to explain the surgery to us and took into account that she was a rescue! All the staff from the receptionists, to the techs and doctors are awesome and I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends!

Phenomenal customer service! We are new to the area and were trying to establish a primary vet for our fur baby. I requested an appointment online. They called me back and scheduled something on a weekday midday. I asked if there was anything on a Saturday by chance and that we really want to get our dog tick preventative sooner rather than later because we are avid campers and hikers so they're something we encounter a lot. I don't know how they did it, but they said they would move some stuff around and they were able to squeeze us in! Such fantastic, caring staff.

If you want your pet to be well cared for and treated by people like they were their own, this is the place. From the moment you walk in the door the up front staff treat you like family and help you feel as comfortable as possible. Then you meet the vet techs in a clean room where they are the pet whispers and are extremely good with people as well. The veterinarians are amazing skilled. We recently moved to the Plymouth area back in December 2017 which meant we needed to find a new vet for our fur babies (our old vet was now 40-minutes away). We read many Google reviews on Rockford before scheduling an appointment and the good reviews don't even give this place justice! You are always greeted with a smile and genuine care for you and your pet. They want to get to know you as the owner as well as the pet. Each worker knows my puppy by name and loves to give her attention! The prices are extremely fair and they always give you the estimated cost our front and explain where the charges are coming from! That is so refreshing as our old place would never explain the charges and half of the time we didn't understand them. They are all extremely knowledgeable and love to take care of you pets. I would HIGHLY recommend them for anyone and I can't imagine taking our fur babies anywhere else!

We have since moved, but continue to bring our dog to Rockford Road (despite there being closer options), mainly due to great staff and service. Each tech we've spoken with has been very knowledgeable with their answers and suggestions (and even saved us a few trips to the vet because they felt it wasn't needed). We have taken our dog, standard poodle, to RRAH since he was less than a year old. He is now 12.5yo. We saw Dr Brewer until he retired, then were introduced to Dr Duff and most recently Dr Morrow. We can't recommend RRAH highly enough!! The staff, vet techs, and vets are top notch, caring, and compassionate! As our dog has aged we have continual felt the care and attention to his changing chapters in life. We mostly see Dr Morrow these days. She listens to our questions and concerns, provides options for Boden's care plan, and we feel gives her honest "if this were my pet" opinion. (We have the same feelings about Dr Duff, he is genuinely concerned about and interested in Bo care!) If you love your pet - go to Rockford Road AH!!

I brought my Pomeranian here for the last five years of his life and I wish I would have found them sooner. They have welcoming receptionists with consistantly great service even though they are required to juggle so much. I always felt the techs were knowledge and caring which is so important because when you leave a pet at a clinic it is the techs that are the most hands on with an animal. Our primary veterinarian was Dr. Duff and recommend him to anyone . He presented the best care option with each medical issue and could always answer my questions. Plus he never pushed any unwanted products or services and was very respectful of my decisions. Such a great place where you see the same faces over and over, meaning they are treated well and stay for years. Completely comparable in price to most clinics in the area and worth every penny. To the entire staff, I am eternally grateful for your care and hospitality for my overprotective, noisy, nervous dog. Please continue doing an outstanding job so I can come back with my next pet.

I just started taking my dog here after a friend from work referred me. I was at my wits end at the former clinic I was going to. Could never seem to get the help or answers i needed at the former animal clinic. And then I came to Rockford Road! I cannot say enough good things about them. Dr. Duff is absolutely amazing with my Shelby. She is always stressed out when we go to see the vet, but not anymore. I have never seen her so relaxed and responsive. I'm a relatively new client (I started going to this clinic in June of this year after one of my dogs' condition was mismanaged by my previous vet and he ended up in ER care), and my experience so far has been positive, so a tentative 4 stars. The staff is courteous and efficient. My dogs are treated with kindness, and that's what counts. Scheduling seems to be done well, and I haven't had to wait over 5 minutes over my scheduled time for my appointments. Veterinary care is not inexpensive, but I think the price schedule for services is relatively reasonable (I have paid much more elsewhere). My dogs are both seniors and have special needs. My primary concern for their care is to find a practitioner who can address their needs, or can refer me to a specialist if the issues are outside their expertise. So far, this has been my experience with Rockford Road Animal Hospital. One of my dogs is under the care of Dr. Duff for multiple internal medicine issues. I have found him to be knowledgeable and willing to take the time to discuss my concerns about my dog's medications and maintenance. It's great that there in an in-house lab so I can get the results of routine blood work right away. My other dog has spinal problems and is under the care of Dr. Bull. Even though orthopedic issues are not her area of expertise, my dog was examined and prescribed medication. Different options for ongoing care were discussed with me, including a specialized orthopedic clinic and chiropractic. Nobody is an expert in every area of veterinary medicine. Referrals to good specialists are just as important as other services. So, a tentative thumbs up. So far so good. :)

Dr Hanson was so sensitive and caring when I had to euthanize my 20 1/2 yr old cat. She made time in her completely booked day and actually held my hand through this very tough event. Everyone from receptionists, to techs, to Dr.'s...love them all. We brought our newest fur baby (a Holland Lop bunny!) to be neutered. They explained the risks to us of anesthesia on a smaller animal but also explained the consequences of he wasn't neutered. He came through surgery just fine and is cruising around the house like nothing happened. Our dog broke her front leg a few years ago - they got her through that beautifully. There is just no reason to go anywhere else!

I don't write reviews, but this facility is spectacular! They are so friendly and caring here and seem to really understand my concerns. They make sure all my questions are answered and really go the extra mile to make sure their pets receive the best care. This pertains to staying an extra minute if I need to pick up a prescription, bringing a blanket to cover my pet's kennel so they have a more comfortable space, trying to get my cat a room quickly since he is anxious with all the noises in the waiting room, as well as giving them love and affection (sometimes in the form of treats). They always want to make sure he is feeling his best, and I can't describe how much this means for my senior kitty who I love like a child. They understand pets are part of the family and deserve to be treated as such. I couldn't say enough positive things about this vet and I'm thankful that it was the first I tried out when I moved here. I 100% recommend trying out this place before heading to another facility.

Today was my first visit with my new dog Maddy to the Rockford Road Animal Hospital. I was greeted by Tucker and Chrissy who were so kind and welcoming to Maddy and I, offering us treats and coffee and walking me through the paperwork. My technician was Bri who was extremely kind to my dog, professional and funny with me, and spent a lot of time wrestling poor Maddy down so we could get some eye drops in her eye. She was so wonderful with Maddy, working with her right on the floor and answering all my questions quickly and professionally. Dr. Morrow is a fantastic and wonderful vet. I can tell her heart is here with the animals as she spoke to Maddy with a soothing and reassuring voice. She handled all our issues and answered my questions quickly and honestly and was overall just so kind to myself and my dog. I have no reservations about this hospital and although I hope Maddy stays perfectly healthy for her whole life, I will not make a second thought to book an appointment at this hospital, and neither should you!

We have been bringing our pets to RRAH for 25 years. Our adult children are now bringing their family pets there too. Throughout the years the service has been awesome. In recent years it has been outstanding. The front desk folks, techs and vets are all pleasant, caring and very competent. We see Dr. Duff and he takes all the time in the world to complete an annual check up or any issue. He and others make calls quickly regarding test results so you aren't worrying long. I love how clean, welcoming the space is. They have added a running string of pet selfies sent from their clients and they are hilarious. We had an emergency with our dog and our normal vet couldn’t accommodate us and told us to try here. Thankfully Dr. Arend was able to see my sick dog right away. My first impression of this pet clinic was amazing. I brought my little dog who has been sick for about a year with cancer in for a followup. Not only was she treated with kindness and love but I also was made to feel comforted by the the Dr. as she revealed more disappointing news about my pet. Overview: As newer resident to the area, I had my first visit here yesterday based on the Google reviews here. I just got a puppy last week and wanted to set up a local vet for her. For new pets, RRAH gives you a packet of information, ranging from health concerns & preventative measures, training options, things to watch out for in the home, to a list of good books and online resources to help with training or other questions created by staff and clients based on experiences, not money. A technician went over all this information and answered any questions or concerns and then we can set up our future visits for boosters and next vaccinations. Cleanliness: You wouldn't imagine a vet office to be clean and decorative but it was! They have plug-in air fresheners in each room, rugs, and (during the holiday season) various holiday decorations to make it feel warm and cozy. There are also treats available to make everyone feel comfortable while here! Cost: My basic vet visit, seeing a doctor but no shots, just checking in and ensuring a persistent itch wasn't severe, was around $60. Like many vet offices, they go over preventative actions you can do to help reduce the number of visits you need to make, and which visits will be cheaper because they won't require a doctor, just a tech. You pay at the time of your visit. They accept credit, debit, checks, & cash. (will update this as future visits give more insight to various costs) Friendliness: Nothing lacking here. Everyone was as friendly as could be and all seemed excited and happy to be helping our puppy. Location: Google Maps doesn't completely get you to the parking lot on their directions - it doesn't tell you to turn into the driveway by turning off of Vinewood (take the first left if coming from the lights). It's attached to several other businesses that all share a parking lot so there's almost always parking available somewhere.

I have been going to Rockford Road for many, many years. I started with my first cat who lived to be almost 20 with their help, even after developing kidney disease. They were very compassionate when the time came to let her go....I have now been bringing my two cats there since they were 6 mo old (now 13) and the staff continue to be very caring and knowledgeable. One cat recently became ill with vomiting and diarrhea and Dr. Bull helped find a solution with meds and a special diet. Luckily, both cats can eat this new food and they both love it! Dr. Duff at Rockford Road animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! We have a guinea pig who had a tumor. Dr. Duff was so thorough in examining him. He sat on the floor and was so kind and gentle. He did a biopsy and it turns out the tumor was benign. Dr. Duff did surgery to remove the tumor and our guinea pig is doing extremely well. Good care and the clinic does look very nice. They do care about the animals they see and the staff has always been very pleasant. Unfortunately they nickel and dime you every chance they get. They wanted repeat visits to look at a simple stye that can be treated with OTC antibiotics, and refused to refill Heartgard before a visit. At $60-$70 for a simple level 1 or 2 visit, I switched vets to someone that is considerably more economical.

The front desk person had a tech called us and was able to decide if we needed to bring him to the hospital or just be seen the next day will be OK. While waiting for our appointment, an employee of another veterinarian (very close by, attached to a large pet store) came in requesting an opinion about her dog's problem. I think that itself speaks volumes about this practice! They send reminder cards when our dog is due for his check-up. It's a postcard with a photo of our dog, super adorable. The vets are matter-of-fact, and don't request unnecessary tests or treatment. When I've called to ask questions or get records, the receptionist is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Everyone is very knowledgeable. I recently used the online store to order flea/tick and heartworm meds. It's very easy to order online and they ship to your home for free. Plus the prices were better than what I found on 1-800-Petmeds.

Dr. Brewer literally saved my dog's life after he had swallowed a sizable rock that had blocked his stomach. An infection ensued, and my dog almost died. Dr. Brewer not only paid special attention to him, but actually took him home so that he could watch him during the night and give him antibiotics. I'm forever grateful. Job done well enough, I suppose. First time there, but the place is nice, the people seem knowledgeable (like I'd know if they weren't =P ). I got there 30 minutes early because I'm just neurotic about being late to things. I sat around in my car, but they called me inside right on time for my appointment and I was out in 30 minutes. Because of the plague, they make you sit outside or in your car until they're ready for you, which isn't that unusual. It's too bad, though, because the lobby was very nice.

I have taken my Cairns to Doc Brewer for the past 10 years. We have never received anything but quality care of our pets. The RRAH staff is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and compassionate. If they don't have the answer, they will get one for you. I had an unusual question in which the tech was not 100% certain. She called back with an answer within half an hour (non-life threatening.) The location is a little bit of a drive, but it is well worth the extra time out of the way. I had checked into animal care clinics in our area and found RRAH vetting fees to be comparable; often less than the clinics near us. I completely trust and Highly Recommend RRAH!

We have been going to RRAH for nearly 20 years. The vets and the techs are awesome. Most of the staff has been there for all 20 years and they seem like a family. We had an emergency situation with our dog. He slipped a disk in his back (we thought he broke his back) and lost use of his back legs. I called RRAH from the car and they were waiting curbside for us to transport him in. We were seen immediately. Luckily between their care and acupuncture at another clinic RRAH referred us to, our dog is walking again. I love this clinic.

Generally good service, goog people. I think it depends on who you get . The vet we have needs to be more social with the animal especially when you have a nervous dog. I just hate the WHITE coats, and the vet stands back at a distance and not very social. We switched to the vet clinic in Rockford MN. They came highly recommend. The vet is NOT dressed in a white coat, he comes prepared with lots of treats, he IMMEDIATELY greets our dogs (3 great danes), gets on his knees and says high and lets them smell him and get to know them. I expect the vet to be a dog person first . So my main reason to move is they diagnosed my great dane with a possible heart problem, wanted to send him to u of M st. Paul. which I called to see the pricing. The tests would be from 600.00 to 1000.00. Well wait a minute I have a nervous dog when at the vet. So we tested him at home multiple times and is heart rate was normal. So NEW vet at Rockford MN.. looked at the whole problem. No issues, No U of M st. Paul needed. It just comes down to how to who your comfortable with and more importantly who your animal is comfortable with.

The receptionists cheerfully greet us every time, waiting time for appointments is nil, and the vet techs and doctors are all knowledgeable, efficient, and supportive. You can tell that everyone who works at RRAH loves animals and enjoys their job. Even when I've called with questions, the vet techs have been able to answer them to my complete satisfaction...all with patience and solid knowledge. When a former dog had to be put down, both the receptionist and vet went out of their way to make it less stressful for all concerned (partly by ushering me in a separate entrance into a non-medical looking suite so I could have privacy and a calming environment during this difficult time). This was followed by RRAH sending me flowers and a heartfelt card. Any medical condition has been expertly fixed the FIRST time, and, typically, the staff calls me several days later to see how my pet is doing. Fun touches like sending my dog e-cards for birthdays are appreciated yearly. I highly recommend RRAH to anyone looking for a vet. Each vet is wonderful (and I have probably had them all), so it's impossible to pick a favorite!

Action was taken to hydrate her, an x-ray was taken to check for an obstruction, and directions given for care. She was seen again a week later when she feeling better.
