Our foster pup had a great experience here. She even got to see one of her litter mates. And when I showed up to pick up the pup, the employee behind the counter had our pup in a baby Bjorne so she could be cuddled!! The best! And the pup healed very quickly.

The staff here were so kind and efficient! They even trimmed my pup's nails while she was getting spayed which was amazing since when I've tried to do it she fights like I'm trying to chop off her whole foot. Overall a very good experience.

Amazing place if you need your pet altered at an affordable price. A spay and shots were $115 today instead of $600. It's based on income. They also help rescues and people taking care of feral cats. The check-in was quick and easy, as was the pick up. Thank you for taking great care of my baby!

Thanks to MN SNAP I was able to neuter my dog Negro for just 100$. Everywhere else charges 400$-600$+ The entire process was so smooth! I got my rabbit neutered here for a very cheap price for a exotic pet , appointment openings are available just keep check everyday for openings , my rabbit Nelly was back to himself the same day eating within hours , they did a really good job and showed me how to check incisions and gave me meds already in syringe for 3 days. Check in time only took 25 mins . Very clean and nice people that will care for your pet . Thank you very much for making the process easy !

They took such good care of our cat, Olive. She is recovering nicely. The staff was also very compassionate with me, as I'm kind of a softy and started crying when I had to leave my cat. So I highly recommend bringing your pets here and if you don't have pets please make a donation, they do great things and have high demand and I'm sure donations are gladly excepted and put to good use!

My cat Silver was your patient last week for neuter surgery. It was a great experience for both myself and our dog and cat, they both came home just as i left them, all except for our doggie, he totally had a complex for a couple days, even tears, but quickly returned back to his happy self and they both are back to rough housing around like their typical selves before their surgeries. Thank so much SNAP TEAM, this program is such an amazing thing, we could not have provided both our pets at this time, with their vet needs, thank you thank you, thank you, you are such angels for doing this for us and providing these services affordable to the community😻

Minnesota SNAP did a great job spaying my female cat (tortoise tabby pictured below) She recovered quickly, and two weeks later you can’t even see a scar. My younger female kitty (black kitty pictured below) has an appointment on Sunday to get spayed. I can’t thank SNAP for providing this service. My vet wanted $500-700 for each cat. I’m a legal aid lawyer, so I know well the value of these low cost/pro bono programs. I really appreciate everything they do for pets and their owners!

I love this place! They take such good care of your pets, whether they are feral cats or ones part of your family. The environment is clean and the staff always inviting and caring. I have had several pets go there and when I leave them them for the procedure I'm never concerned about their well being. They are also economical with pricing.

Years ago, I found out the hard way, there is no such thing as a "FREE" kitten. Thank God for SNAP. They make being a responsible pet owner so much easier for low income households. My kitty was microchipped, vaccinated & Spayed, all for $110! The day after surgery, my cat was back to her playful self. She didn't even need the 2nd dose of pain medication that they sent her home with.

I have used MN Snap twice and have had good experiences. It's always a little nerve-wracking dropping off your fur babies and hoping for the best, but have been pleased with the results so far and how quickly they bounced back and are ready to be their normal selves. Great program and grateful for the Vets and Techs that make it happen.

*edit* I only have 1 complaint about MN SNAP and it's not even their services but their website. It used to be set up where there was an actual calendar to look at and see what's full, which days are cat only days, ect. Now that is gone and you just put your pets information in and it says whether or not there is an open date for that type of pet. It's absolutely worthless. I realize they don't do the schedule out very far, but at least you can get an idea of when to check back. With this stupid thing you basically have to check every day. I absolutely hate this new feature and I can see people just giving up and not bothering. And then boom, more cats. Very frustrating!! With that said... MN SNAP is a great organization! I'm a vet tech and have taken my own pets there over the years, so I feel very comfortable recommending them and do occasionally to clients. When you give the owners the quote for the surgery you can usually tell by their face if that is going to be an issue. Finances are a sensitive subject so I just say "if that doesn't sound realistic for you right now you can look into MN SNAP" and give them the website address and tell them that all of my pets have gone there, so I know from experience it's a good place.

Brought my 9 month old female dog in to be spayed. Upon arriving they gave me one of those pager things like you get when waiting to be seated at a restaurant, you know the ones that vibrate when ready. Once they were ready, about 15-20 mins later I brought her in, gave our info, paid then I went home & took a nap. They text me an hour before I could pick her up and the total time from drop off to pick up was only about 3.5 hours. They even cut her nails! Aside from a very strong urine smell the place was nice enough & the ladies that's helped me were nice too. And for $80 I couldn't be happier because my vet wanted to charge me over $600!! 😲😳 Thank you MN SNAP!

I rescued 2 kittens, (wanted only 1 but couldn’t leave the other behind), I was worried about being able to get them fixed as far as cost was concerned and did my home work. I found Snap and was truly amazed at how kind and caring they were. At the time I was able to use their mobile service and they came to my area. This is my second time taking a new cat there. It's nice, cheaper then anywhere else. Lots of animals go there at once so it might take the whole day till your animal is done. But worth it. 80$ for a neuter and vacinations. My last cat recovered fast and is in good condition. Will be taking my puppy in the near future.

The process is well informational, took three Kitties there, due to the pandemic, you had to drop off your pet and pick them up at a later time. They keep you well informed, gave you enough time to get back to the vet office . We kind of ran into a issue with the stitches they use on our three, but with a text message and some medication, they all are well again. It's been 16 days since they were taken in and all are healed up.

We had 2 barn cats fixed here. They are very professional and organized. I also appreciate their commitment to keeping people distanced and separate during covid. We checked in outside and we given a paging device which alerted is to the outlet time to bring the felines inside. They kept the cats approximately 5 hours. Pickup was also orderly. If you need to spay your barn cats, this is a fairly priced option. I'm glad we did it!

I HIGHLY recommend utilizing the EXCEPTIONAL services that this program has to offer!!!🏆 I brought my cat in not knowing what age she really was and what condition she was in from previous owners. I found out she was under 12 months old and had given birth to a litter of four! I brought her in so that she could be neutered and to have all necessary shots and vaccines; I also wanted to have a microchip placed. The services they provided and the manner of care they gave to my daughter's cat was BEYOND what I expected!!!😊 She was cared for by a staff of people I felt REALLY cared for her needs.🥰 They also were very accommodating when it came to being able to make arrangements on pick up time as to not interrupt my daughter's pick up time from school! My experience at MN SNAP was a good one, bringing two female barn cats there. We had to schedule six weeks in advance, signing a release of liability online. We were checked in right on time with the help of their friendly staff standing outside (where there is street parking) and inside. They found ear mites on my cats and I received a call asking for permission to treat them at $15 a piece, and I agreed to that. They called again two hours after I dropped them off saying my cats would be ready to go in an hour. We picked them up, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that pain meds (for post-surgery) were also included in the price. My cats recovered nicely, and they now have tattoos on their bellies and a one snipped ear. At $75 each for spay, rabies vaccine, and treatment of ear mites, this service was less than one fourth of the price the local vet charges. A win-win for our family! Highly recommended.

I only dropped my daughter's cat off for her. This was not an appointment for my own animal. I love what this vet does for those that cannot afford a full priced vet. The check-in process was fairly clear, but the people working the desk seemed very cold and business-like without compassion for the people or animals coming in for the procedure. I understand the fear of Covid, but it felt like I was being pushed in and out as quickly as possible.

First let me say they took very good care of my baby. You should go in knowing this is an all day thing. They make you aware when you get there. It wasn't a big deal to me. I spent some time exploring. They give you everything you need for after care. All you have to do is follow instructions. After surgery their vet is on call so you can call and leave voicemails if you are worried about your pet or are having any problems. So far my cat is healing just fine and it is not easy to stop an active cat from being active lol.

My experience here was great! I didn't bring the right tax form and they said don't sweat it and let me text it to the vet tech checking people in. The procedure was uneventful, and my cat it great! I got a cat spay, 2 sets of shots and a microchip with registration and it only cost me $110! I was quoted around $500-$600 at most vet clinics I checked with.

Very kind staff. My puppy had a mild ear infection that I wasn’t aware of, and they treated it at her appointment. They took great care of my dog, Bella! Her spay incision is barely noticeable, they have experienced veterinarians that know what they are doing. Bella is acting as if the surgery never happened and is as happy as can be. I took my 6 month old kitten Ravioli to get neutered here. I am struggling financially and I was looking into places to help me get him neutered at low cost. I scheduled an appointment online for September 7th but he ended up showing behavioral signs of being super hormonal. I called them and asked if they had any sooner appointments and I was able to get him in the next morning due to a cancelation. I was so happy with my experience. He got microchipped and got his core shots and neutered for only $100. I am so thankful for the help that they give to people and animals in need.

So happy I found this place! I have a few wild barn cats that needed to be fixed and I really didn't want to spend $200+ each on a cat that isn't a "beloved pet." MNSNAP is very affordable at only $50/neuter and $60/spay-- including a rabies shot and take home meds for the female. I got two cats fixed for half of what a normal vet would cost. They were very kind and informative, it was all a very simple process really. I will definitely use them again. Highly recommend!

My wife and I brought our 9 month old female kitten to be spayed there. The surgery went well. The incision was accurate, clean and healed without conplications. For the price, we are vrry thankful to MN Snap for doing the work they do. Thank you! As for things that could be improved; 1. Our cat was still under anesthesia when we picked her up at around 6:30pm on Sunday. We had to check her breathing on the way back and I can't say that it's a very good practice. 2. We were told in the morning that we'd be getting a call around 3pm. So when I haven't heard anything by 5pm I started to worry. Meanwhile the phone went straight to voicemail and the location showed "closed " on google. It was pretty nerve-wracking until I finally got a hold of someone. 3. Our kitten displayed "fear of the hand" when she came to. I can only assume here but that suggests to me that she was perhaps handled rough...or who knows...all we know that for a week after that she would flinch when I reached to pet her... my wife and I don't belive in hitting or rough hsndling animals..And why would you? How much force would you need to handle a 9 mo kitten? Anyway...i guess I didnt like that sign at all. We don't know if she associated a hand with surgery, or if there was some roughness. Its something that we wanted to mention though. Otger than that the operation went well and our baby seems to be mostly recovered! We're very happy that this whole ordeal is behind us! Thank you.

I came here in February to get my cat spayed. The staff were very helpful before and after the procedure. I was given clear instructions on how to administer my cat's pain medication and who to contact if I had any questions or concerns. The prices were also quite reasonable. I paid $60 for the spaying surgery and $20 to get her microchipped. I'm sure little Milk Dud was a complete monster when they were getting her prepped for surgery but they said she was just fine, so I guess you can say they're good at humoring folks 😂

Three cats spayed on Thursday, a little slow to get in (thanks covid), but they got done fast and they came home happy. Mama cat's sutures opened a little on Friday night (it can happen, especially after having multiple litters). Called SNAP, brought her in Saturday morning and took her in right away. I didn't know about this place until recently, but with the care, compassion, and empathy they show towards the pets, and their owners, in very glad they exist.

I love that Minnesota has a program that is geared towards lower-income people. Whenever I'm able to donate any extra money I try to donate it to here because I was recently informed that most of the cost of the surgeries are actually covered through donations and allows them to continue the work that they do within the community with a wide array of house animals from rabbit to large dog. I have a rabbit and the cat that I have both taken here for a neuter and spay respectively both animals had a wonderful recovery and did not seem traumatised At All by the experience. Rabbits are extremely hard to do any work on as they are predisposed to heart attacks so it speaks volumes when the vet is able to do this work.

Took my pitty there for castration. I got a call from the vet Informing me, that my dog had a heart murmur. I asked what the risks were and she educated me without hesitation. After she explained she was confident in doing the procedure I trusted her and her staff to do the best they could.
