We have been taking our dog Jasper here since we got him last August and have had nothing but wonderful experiences here! All of the staff are excellent and really make you and your pet feel cared for, and I really appreciate their considerate and patient care approach. Our dog gets pretty anxious for vet visits, but Dr. DeWoskin and Dr. Dwuznik (and vet techs!) have always been so kind and gracious with him. I think I call once a month for innocuous questions and recommendations, and always get super helpful information and quick response from the vet if needed! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful vet practice close to home!

I've been going here for twelve or so years, I only chose it because they were close by. I really lucked out because the staff is super friendly, and the Drs are informative, kind, and compassionate. They have separate entrances for dogs & cats, and when we had Guinea Pigs (and a dog emergency) they knew where to refer us right away. Really a great place.

Mika (rescue part German Shephard, Pit Bull, American Bully) loves going to Keller Lake Animal Hospital. I've never had a pet that loves to go to the vet. Mika loves the treats (cheese) but most of all she loves all the love and attention the staff gives her. She never wants to leave the lab when they take her weight because there are so many loving staff members in there and Mika basks in all the attention and would stay there for hours soaking it all in. I also received needed and helpful advice on training on a locomotive puller on a leash when I walk Mika. For all this, I highly recommend Keller Lake Animal Hospital.

Our dogs LOVE Keller Lake Animal Hospital! They’ve been seeing Dr. Mead since they were puppies and have wagging tails and zero fear every time we drive up to KLAH’s door. (You read that right, our dogs are EXCITED to go to the vet.) At our old vet, our previous dog would tuck tail and throw on the brakes so we would have to literally carry a 90 pound dog into the place. Not at KLAH. Our pups have had years of shots and even a surgery there and still they are excited to trot right in. It’s like magic, but it’s not. It is very apparent that everyone at Keller Lake Animal Hospital loves what they do. They always go out of their way to make sure our animals (and their humans) feel safe, happy, and cared for, and it works. The dogs and I trust everyone at KLAH completely. I highly recommend them. (Also I just realized that their acronym is basically “claw”, which is adorable.)

***EDIT*** The last 6 months have held a lot of issues as our animals have gotten older. I can not thank Dr. Melissa enough for her time and patience answering my questions and treating my animals like each one is special and matters. Still so thankful to have found this place!! We have 2 cats and 2 dogs and I go here because they treat them as individuals. If you have a reactive/fearful animal, you know how much that means. I have a large dog that does not do well with other dogs. They are always aware and make extra efforts to schedule when other dogs won't be in the waiting room or bring us in/out a side door. This means EVERYTHING. Our other dog is fearful of "stuff", but doesn't fear dogs. So when he goes in they are really supportive of him taking his time to get comfortable. One cat is deaf and a bit skittish and once again they are really good at going slow and working at making her comfortable. Cat #2 is just perfect, so no issues there!! They take the time to listen. They explain so I understand. They don't try to sell me stuff. We fully believe in annual visits and preventatives so we have been there enough to get to know the staff and they are just really good people. We adore them. Our animals adore them. Really. Our dogs love them. Cats, meh. Cats be cats.

Dr. Melissa, as well as the technicians, was very thoughtful, thorough, and caring with our old boy Louie. He is 21 years old and was suffering from a really bad infection from an abscessed tooth. His face was swollen, he wasn't eating, and he was hardly able to stand on his own. We went to the emergency vet on saturday night, but the treatment turned out to be wrong for him. Dr. Melissa knew exactly how to treat him but warned us that he is old and this infection could possibly be too much for him. Well, 2 days after Dr. Melissa administered the right antibiotics, old Lou was on the upswing. He is back to himself (although still a crunchy old fella) and seeking cuddles and treats. His paws curl everytime someone talks to him again. We are so grateful for the treatment and for him to be feeling better. We know we don't have too much longer due to his advanced age, but for now he is back to his shenanigans and living out his golden years feeling good.

My dog is very scared of pretty much everything and hadn't allowed anyone to pet him. He was finally convinced to be okay with pets after 25 minutes of patience and a plate of chicken nuggets. We were able to complete his physical exam, shots, and blood draw due to their patience (and chicken nuggets). If you're dog is very scared just ask for a quiet time and they'll give you options.

The staff here are phenomenal. From the first visit when they give you a personalized family bins to keep all your pets records they are very pleasant to deal with. They have taken very good care of our animals. Their attention to detail with pets that have anxiety issues is second to none. It’s awesome to be able to schedule appointments through their app and to know what is due for each pet. We recently had to let one of our pets go. The staff at Keller Lake Animal Hospital was so helpful, accommodating and understanding. Even a week after the loss of our families friend and companion we received a card of condolences and everyone on staff at the hospital took time to write a short note. I can not recommend any other veterinarian other than Keller Lake Animal Hospital.

It is as been two years since I wrote my first review. The staff at Keller Lake feel more like family. They are extremely caring and helpful. After many surgeries, my dog, Harry, still loves going to see them. He gets so excited. They always get down to his level and give him possitive attention and heathy treats. It is so sweet. What's more, they treat every fur child, that walks through the door, that way. When my sweet baby Pepper passed away unexpectedly, at a different emergency room, Keller Lake Animal Hospital Staff sent us a card and a beautiful bouquet of flowers before we even had a chance to tell them, they called to check in on us to see how we were doing. They told us if we had any questions to call anytime. It was one of the hardest things I've gone through and they really helped me along the way and were very supportive. I did have questions and Dr. Melissa D. provided helpful answers and comfort in a time of sorrow. That is priceless and shows how much they care. We appreciate all the hard work they put into caring for others. They are truly amazing! Plus, I've never seen a clinic run as well, and operate as smoothly, as they run the clinic. I would highly recommend them to others. They are the best! Review from 2020: The staff and doctors here are amazing. They love what they do and they love animals and it shows! Can not recomend them enough.

Since 1993 I have taken 4 dogs & 4 cats to this clinic. The staff has always been pleasant & courteous. Two vets even went above the call of duty to come to my home, in 2007 & 2013, & help me transport 2 of my beloved dogs to the clinic when it was time for me to say the final goodbye. TL;DR we love this place, and recommend it to anyone! We took our new puppy here during the pandemic and they did everything they could to make it a good experience with curbside service. All the techs LOVED our puppy and it was awesome to hear them gush about how good he was and how they can't wait to see him again. The vets that we talked to were all knowledgeable, professional, and always answered any questions we had about our puppy. They always let us know exactly what they are going to do that day. The price for all services was reasonable as well. Definitely going to make this our regular vet!

I cannot even put into words how great the folks at Keller Lake are. My dog Odin has had a series of unfortunate circumstances in his young life and the staff at Keller have helped us through every hurdle. They are so compassionate about what they do, they are super responsive and I truly believe they care about every animal they see. My pup is actually excited to go to the vet, he loves them all. They have helped us navigate a serious eye injury that required surgery, helped with minor colds, kept us on track for vaccinations and are now helping us navigate an upcoming surgery for a medial luxating patella repair. They actually called just to check in to see how Odin was doing. They are great with humans as well. They listen and respond to every question you have whether it be on the phone, email or via their app. You can hear how much they care when you talk to them. I will refer every animal owner I know to Keller. If you love your animal(s), you cannot go wrong bringing them here.

I chose Keller Lake Animal Hospital for my cat's after our move into the area, and after a bad experience elsewhere; this clinic is wonderful! Staff were nice, friendly and truly caring about my pets. The vet was fantastic! She listened to everything I had to say, and really took her time with options, and explanations. I was able to stay with my cats during their blood draw, which says alot about how much they care. I alway's feared for my pets when I could hear them cry when they were out of my sight. I have brought my puppy for routine care and my cat for a urinary tract inflammation and they both have been treated with so much care. My puppy loves going to the vet because he knows he'll be getting a lot of attention and treats. Their no-fear approach is something I truly admire, I was nervous on how my puppy would react with his first vaccines but he barely even noticed as he was so distracted by the treats given. I’ve been bringing my dog to Keller lake animal hospital since we first got our dog two years ago from a rescue. I’m not sure if they still do this or not, but if you adopt a rescue Keller lake will comp your first visit to their office if it’s within a certain time frame from the adoption. We’ve been very happy with Keller lake, they are kind and helpful to both our dog and us. We’ve never had difficulty with setting up an appointment in a timely manner, we’ve also encountered some scary emergency situations and they’ve been able to get us in within minutes. I’d also like to acknowledge their smooth transition into new protocols during the pandemic. So far we’ve brought our dog in for car side pick up for an annual exam and vaccinations and had two prescriptions we’ve needed to fill. It’s been very easy to just give them a call and have them come out to drop off our medications. I would highly recommend using this clinic as your primary vet.

Keller Lake Animal Hospital is an amazing caring place. I have been a loyal mom of a cat and dog. I would bring them no other place then Keller Lake. The Front Desk is always welcoming and super friendly to me and my furry loved one. They know my dog only likes soft treats, so that's what Dr. D has ready for him. Dr. D also knows that my cat is always in the sink when she comes in the room, so she always knows to look there and greet her. Keller Lake is a very special place.

When I first bought my dog. My main concern was finding the right vet clinic. Breeder had gave me some recommendations but they were more than 20 miles away from my house. So I relied on google reviews. I had found this vet clinic( Keller Lake ) not only it was so convenient. But everyone that works there are super nice and friendly. My dog loves all the staff and the staff loves my dog. They’re honestly very professional and they know what they’re doing. The place is always nice and clean. They have two entrances where dogs and cats enter and keeps them safe. They also guided me through some tips and advices on how to treat and maintain my first dog. I would honestly recommend anyone to this vet clinic. There prices are very reasonable and I couldn’t be anymore happier. I’m just glad that I had found a very reailble vet clinic I can count on. Don’t let those bad stars fool you. Give them a try and you’ll be highly happy with their services.

I've been going to Keller Lake Animal Hospital for a little over a year and have had nothing but great experiences. My dog, Kahuna, has seen Dr. Ziche and Dr. DeWoskin and he loves them! Kahuna doesn't like being touched and prodded in certain areas, but they really know how to get him to cooperate. The ladies at the front desk are also super friendly and helpful! As a college student money is a little tight and they have been extremely respectful of this and always tell me the prices of the treatment upfront along with other alternatives and clearly explain to me why it could help and if it's necessary. Kahuna and I are very appreciative of how well they have taken care of us and I would highly recommend Keller Lake Animal Hospital to any pet owner.

Only GREAT experiences here. Neo does not mind "the vet" at all so far and that's pretty telling since he's had to do his entire round of shots as a puppy here. Not sure how competitive the pricing is, my sister says her place in Forest Lake is more affordable but I like the convenience of only living a few miles away.

I have been coming to Keller Lake Animal Hospital for thirty years. Dr. Lillie had been looking after my felines. Now both Dr. Lillie and Dr Amy are giving the best care to my 14 month old Golden Retriever, Charlie. They provided guidance and research to deal with Charlie's resource guarding - which is much better. They were very patient with me as I discussed the latest recommendations from breeders, even if they weren't in total agreement. The technicians and the staff are great. HIghly knowledgeable and I trust them completely. Charlie is doing great thanks to the great care of Keller Lake. I highly recommend bringing your pets to this clinic. I should add that their method of scheduling appointments insures you rarely have to wait to be seen.

The caregivers at Keller Lake are the kindest people around. I've taken pets there since 1998 (2 dogs and a cat) and have had great service and exceptional care for my pets. They treat the animals brought in as if they were their own.They return calls promptly and are very willing to consult on the phone. We are very happy with Keller Lake. We take both our dog and cat to them, and have been very happy with the service for the past three years. The staff are friendly and easy to ask questions. They clearly love animals, and seem to remember our pets each time even though we are only in once or twice a year. They ask good questions about lifestyle choices we're making for our pets (foods, exercise, access to other animals) and I feel like we can have a good discussion about vaccinations given what they know about our pets. I haven't done a lot of price comparison, but we used to go to Banfield and that was much more expensive (after the first year) and we don't feel extra service and shots are pushed on us here. The online portal is also nice and easy to navigate.

We recently moved back to Minnesota and spent quite a bit of time researching to find the perfect vet for our dogs needs. After posting asking for recommendations and having three locals recommend Keller Lake Animal Hospital, along with describing their personal experience, we decided to check them out. We were excited to find that they are one of the top vets for brachycephallic breeds in the Twin Cities, as we have a Boston Terrier, a Bugg, and a Pug. From the personal recommendations we were also pleased to hear that they are wonderful with senior and disabled dogs (which both of our girl dogs are). Pulling up to Keller Lake Animal Hospital I liked the cozy feel, it is a smaller building with a nice parking lot, and great large grassy area in front. Going into the building cat guests seating is to the left as dogs are to the right with front desk between the two, I liked this as it helps lessen stress on the pets (vets can be stressful enough, so anything to lower that stress is wonderful). Seating in the waiting room was comfortable and it smelled nice and clean. Front desk staff was amazing! She greeted me immediately, listened to my ramblings, and gave me a great tour of the hospital while describing everything and answering all my questions along the way. I was pleased to hear that they only have about 8 staff members, all that have been there many years...this shows consistency and that is something I value for my dogs and myself. I was also pleased that they do electronic pet records as our old vet was able to email all three of our dogs records and we were immediately in the system (had another vet we were considering want us to fax the records, which just doesn't make any sense in this day of technology). I did my walk through in the morning and was able to schedule an appointment for one of my dogs that same afternoon. When we brought our girl to her appointment we had staff members compliment how cute she is, which of course is always welcome. Kuki (our dog) is afraid of hard floors, they took the time to put a nice rug on the exam room floor for her, along with a mat on the exam table...we both greatly appreciated that. The staff and vet were very friendly and seemed to truly care about my dog and developing a relationship with not only my pets, but me. We also didn't feel like just a rush through number like some vets make you feel. The vet that saw Kuki took her time to examine Kuki, learn about her medical history, and discuss a care plan. We left with a feeling of being in good hands and care. I look forward to having Keller Lake Animal Hospital get to know and care for our other dogs also. I have full faith that they will continue to be amazing and would highly recommend.

If you're deciding on a vet clinic for your pet, in my opinion Keller Lake AH has provided us great vet service for our pets. Dr. Lillie, the other veterinarians, and the staff are incredible. They inform you of all options for treatment and make sure that the pet owner truly understands what ails your buddy so you can make informed decisions to get them bouncing around again. :) I have had them make follow up calls to check on my buddy's well-being to be sure he was doing better. Phenomenal! I adopted a cat from a shelter whose previous owner was a hoarder with over one hundred cats. He seemed scared and was having a hard time adjusting (or so I thought) and wasn't using his litter box. He would go a very long time without going potty, then go on the couch. When I brought him to Keller Lake, the veterinarian walked right up to him and started rubbing his belly! I was so surprised when my kitty was rolling around and purring. I had never seen this side of him before! She told me to get a second litter box, since he was probably used to more than one in his previous home. Sure enough--he was happy as can be! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. I will recommend to everyone!

Our recent addition was a puppy who followed a neighbors daughter home. We took him in and as our latest "stray adoptee" he ended up in isolation at the emergency hospital for 4 days with parvo. There is no doubt that Rufus would have died had he not gotten immediate care at Keller and the Emergency hosp. He is our latest and probably not last adoptee. The staff are always professional, compassionate, caring, educating, honest, real people with feeling, that know what they are doing. Getting down to the ground with my pets and giving treats to be sure my pets are comfortable. (I have a nasty dog) and staff are very kind to her. They love their jobs and they show it.
