Our sweet girl had a foreign object in her GI system. Monday during the day we saw our regular vet but they couldn’t get her in for surgery until Tuesday morning. Monday night she started to decline so we decided to take her to Mayfair emergency at 11:30pm. Even though it was late at night the staff was so friendly and helpful. I was so nervous but they put me at ease and I knew I could trust them with her. They kept her for monitoring after surgery which helped my anxiety knowing she was in good hands for the first 24 hours. During that time I was able to call whenever to get updates and they were more than happy to tell me about her and weren’t annoyed no matter how often I called. She’s healing up nicely and even when I have questions now that she’s home they answer them happily and help me feel better. I will never go to another emergency vet after my experience with them. Thank you so much for helping my Mimi girl!

Mayfair Animal Hospital took care of our Pepper during a very scary digestive episode early yesterday morning. Their staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly quick to get our little lady back on the mend within an hour of us arriving at the clinic. Less than 24 hours later she’s back to being her sassy, spunky self (and taking plenty of naps to get back to begging for table scraps) Thank you for being such a wonderful emergency center!

We brought in our 12 year old corgi needing emergency care. We were from out of town and really worried. Everyone at the clinic from reception through techs and Dr Timmons were outstanding. They took top notch care of our boy. He is back with us doing super well. We are so grateful.

They were very friendly, professional, and no complaints thank you for seeing my kitty 🐈‍⬛ Would support this business again. Price is a little high, but that seems to be the norm these days ever since pet insurance became a thing. Would give 5 stars if a 10min stop to give fluids wasn’t a whopping $220.

Dr. Johnson was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive with my pup and very thorough with explanations. My dog struggles with anxiety and takes a while to warm up to strangers, but he was so comfortable with her! Fingers crossed we do not have any more emergency visits- but I will definitely return here if we do!

Quick even though every room was taken. Nice staff. Gentle with our Janey who has never needed anything but check-ups until today. She is 12 and was shaking like a leaf. Took x-rays and examined her leg and determined there was no structural damage. Prescribed pain medicine. Janey was actually running on our 10/10/22 walk compared to walking on 3 legs the 2 days before.

We ran our cat Luna here last night after she got a fishing lure stuck in her paw. I was a stressed out mess because we called 2 other emergency vets and they wouldn't take her. They did a great job on the phone of trying to calm me down. We wrapped her up and drove 50 min. To get to this clinic. They helped us right away. They have a great caring and compasionate team.

Initially I had to bring my dog in for a check up on a lump, unfortunately it turned out to be cancer... they provided great service, very responsive and willing to work with you. They also are good at answering any questions you may have. When I had to put my dog down I went with them and within such a short notice they fit me in their schedule. It was the most difficult thing I had to do in my life and they were super supportive; giving you plenty of time with your loved one in these times plus their attention to detail and care is superior. They even gave me a set of beautiful paw prints that were available for purchase for free. Such a thoughtful and heartfelt little gift. I had to give them recognition. God bless them

I have taken a one of my fur babies here a few times over the years. Each time, they have been extremely friendly, informative, helpful and reasonably priced. I feel they took great care of my cat and have treated me and my pet better then the previous animal er I had used in the past. I have have special needs animals and this is now my go to place as they provide all options available and dont try to pressure you.

My senior dog had started with a pretty bad cough- after checking with other emergency vets their wait times were 6-10 hours! Mayfair Animal Hospital was just a little over an hour wait- everyone was patient and kind, despite being short staffed as everyone is. Thank you Dr Conlin and everyone!!

We has been using Mayfair Animal Hospital all of our vet needs since we moved Wisconsin 10 years ago. They were compassionate and kind when we found out our 12 year old beagle had cancer and she had to be put down. After the diagnosis of cancer they told me to take her home over a long weekend and spoil her rotten and spend as much time with her as possible as a family. When it was time for her to go they let me hold her until she gone and told me to take as much time as I needed to say goodbye. When we adopted a new dog a few years later that was a barker, they put in her chart not to give us the room with the big window that looked out over North Ave. We then adopted the spawn of Satan in the form of a black cat that hates people and they just took it in stride when I make appointments for her only to have to cancel because I couldn't find the damn cat. Just last weekend we had to carry our 5 months old kitten in, because she had the front door slammed on her. She was having a hard time walking and it turned out she has a back injury from the impact of the door closing on the back half. After a week of rest she is improving every day and will hopefully be off "bed" rest in a few weeks. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a Vet in the area.

After my dog Remy experienced her first seizure, I was directed by my vet to take her in to Mayfair Animal Hospital. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never been to this location or experienced curbside drop-off appointments. However, I was undoubtedly satisfied with their commitment and dedication to helping diagnose her and caring for her. After another visit here two days later, Remy declined quickly. She was in too much pain and I knew that if we didn't put her down, she would continue to be in pain. Olivia Thaw was by far the best vet that I have seen with Remy throughout her life. She made both Remy and I feel very comfortable, and answered all my questions which put me at ease. I may have lost my best friend but I will never regret taking her to Mayfair Animal Hospital. Thank you Mayfair Animal Hospital and to all the hardworking, dedicated, and caring staff who took care of Remy in her last days of life. I would recommend this location to anyone I know as they took such great care of her.

My boy Jojo (4 year old cat) ate electrical tape over a weekend about a month ago and we never noticed. It was a weekend and ended up taking him to the ER, he did have a full blockage. We found out that Monday that he needed surgery that day but with covid every single place was booked. Finally after hours of calling places I got in touch with Mayfair through a recommendation from another vet. They were the only place willing to do his surgery on short notice. Not only did they save my boys life but the surgery cost ended up being less than their original low estimate. Not only have they earned my trust, but I'll be forever thankful. My boy was well cared for, had zero post surgery complications and I couldn't be happier. Absolutely recommend

We were on vacation, traveling from Houston, TX to Sturgeon Bay, WI. While stopping for lunch with a friend in Chicago, we noticed a lump on our standard poodle's cheek that wasn't there when she was groomed four days prior. We figured she had been bitten by something but decided to check it out. Mayfair was the only 24 hour clinic along the way that did not require an appointment. Boy are we glad we stopped. Our poodle had an oral melanoma. The doctor said we caught it early. When Dr. Conlin learned we were on vacation from Houston, she stayed late (her shift was to end at 7:00) to remove the tumor. She said that she got it all and the margins were good. So after 7-8 hours, we were on our way with our poodle in the cone of shame. She is doing great two months later, still no signs of a recurrence which we understand is likely. But if Dr. Conlin had not stayed and operated, or we had waited til we returned to Houston 2 weeks later, the outcome might not have been as good. We really appreciate the kindness and care we received.

This clinic has always been very helpful when I’ve had an emergency with my cat. They are very informative and compassionate on the phone as well. One time I took my cat there and they kept calling me to follow up to see how he was doing, a lot of places don’t do that!

Mostly very positive and transparent experiences here for multiple emergency scenarios! The vets have been compassionate and helpful. What's tricky is getting a receptionist who knows what they're talking about--it's been a mix of some not knowing an answer and not asking a vet for the answer, and some very knowledgeable prior to making an appointment. My tip is to advocate for yourself as much as possible by asking questions, though this can be hard when in a vulnerable situation.

Grateful to the staff at Mayfair Animal Hospital who helped me in a “pinch.” There was a misunderstanding with Vetco, which was stressful since I had a personal urgent situation and needed to get my dog his booster in order for him to attend daycare an board. Without Mayfair Animal Hospital’s kindness and willingness to help me (and my dog), I don’t know what I would have done. I was fully prepared to wait for however long was needed and asked the staff to not feel pressured because it was not an emergency. Emergencies ALWAYS come first! However, can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and willingness to go above and beyond what they were required on a weekend. Special shout out to the staff who worked on Sunday 6/26/22. I had to recently bring my cat for an urgent visit. It is unfortunate that I had to wait in the car due to COVID restrictions, but I understand. My cat was seen and treated very promptly. The veterinarian answered all my questions. He was night and day when brought home, so I was very pleased. I was called the next day to follow-up on his progress and to relay lab results (approx 24 hr turnaround for the off site tests). I was called again 2 days later to check in again. The total cost was probably what I would have expected to be. Would definitely return if needed in the future (hopefully not!).

Had to take my Lab in on a Sunday morning for a sever allergic reaction. They all took such great care of her and got her feeling back to normal within a few days. You could hear the compassion in their voices and totally tell they all LOVE what they do. It was a great experience! The prices were extremely fair. And I really liked the extra little note the Dr. put on the discharge papers for my dog to get well soon.

We had an emergency situation with our dog and had a hard time even finding a place that would treat her. At that point, you worry about the quality of the treatment of course because you’re “desperate”. But every step of care at Mayfair Animal Hospital was top notch. The people receiving and returning our dog were kind and good at handling her. The doctor we had communicated with us throughout the process and gave us good advice and did a great job! Everyone was really kind and though I’m not a big fan of remaining in the park I lot, it was it was about as close to a perfect visit as I could have asked for other than that. Super grateful to have found them.

I took my senior (14- year old) dog to this hospital one early Friday morning in February 2022. My girl was clearly in distress and not well. The team quickly diagnosed her issue and were able to get her on the road to recovery with the right medicine. They also called to follow-up on her a few days later. This is a wonderful clinic! Like the rest of the world, they are overwhelmed, understaffed and burned out. We've brought our dogs her for both minor and a few major health issues and have always received good care. I say this as someone with years working in pet care at WHS. It's tough work. You are expected to be at your best helping people and their pets who are often at their very worst. I felt it was important to say that this clinic works with what they call their sister clinic, (or used to anyways)Hales Corners Veterinary Clinic where our pets are care for, if this clinic is too busy, try calling Hales Corners. They are a well run office, that make your pets their priority where I've never had a problem getting an appt immediately.

We brought our elderly Newfoundland Dog here last night because she was limping and was having trouble getting up to stand. Dr. Robin Johnson did a good exam and determined the problem. She prescribed a medication that has helped greatly. Our dog went from not being able to stand to wanting to play ball this morning! Dr. Robin also suggested things to do to prevent more problems in the future. The staff was very friendly too. We are very pleased with our experience.

I am a new dog owner and recently adopted a 6 year old Golden Retriever, who got into some chocolate when I stepped out of the room. I called Mayfair Animal Hospital extremely upset. They were sensitive to me and remained calm while I provided them with details. They quickly sprang into action and provided my pet with the care that he needed. We called 7 vets today because our baby girl Onyx was screaming in pain and from the second I was on the phone with them they listened and told us to come right away, when everyone else told us Don't bother because of many reasons but they were absolutely awesome from the phone call to arriving. The folks at Mayfair Animal Hospital are awesome! Not only did they take great care on very short notice of my cat and her 7 newborn kittens when there was a minor complication after she gave birth, but they were so kind and patient with me (I was very scared, this being my first cat pregnancy) and have generously answered all my follow-up questions since. A 24-hour animal hospital is an invaluable service to provide in the first place, and I wouldn't even hold it against them if they were crabby and impatient as I'm sure it can be a stressful work environment, but the fact that they're so extremely helpful and willing to answer my panicky questions thoughtfully and thoroughly seems above and beyond. Our dog was horribly hurt in an incident with another much bigger dog. They were calm and professional and compassionate throughout the entire process. Unfortunately our dog could not be saved due to severe internal injuries and they handled the situation with so much care and kindness that it made it as good as a terrible experience can get. Friendly, open late. My dog was having an episode late at night and I was fearfull that he was choking. I brought him in at this clinic at midnight and they diagnosed him with Kennel cough , prescribed a cough medicine. I was able to return home within the hour and had piece of mind and doggie mess. I was thankful for the convenience which allowed me to sleep that night knowing my best friend was taken care of.

Mayfair Animal Hospital provides excellent emergency veterinary care at a reasonable rate. The vets and assistants are helpful and friendly and don't try to persuade you to do expensive tests and procedures that are not necessarily required. The vets and staff are friendly in a real way. Our dog was perfectly comfortable going inside -- twice -- while we waited in the car. Overall, I am really happy our vet recommended that we bring our dog here when there was an emergency.

They are more then amazing. My cat was sick, throwing up all food. I tried to make one appointment with my regular vet they said it's booked next 2 weeks. Mayfair hospital accepted us in 2 AM . They did exam, blood work and get back to us really quick. We left in less then two hours. Very professional stuff, they informed us about everything and also gave us everything written . Communication was clearly, easy to understand even for those who are not familiar with any medical terminology. Also they are very affordable for urgent veterinary hospital and besides 24 hours service they provide regular exams,vaccinations and other wellness services. Five starts service and my recommends !

I had to take my dog in for emergency care at 4:30 in the morning for what I thought was a seizure; the hospital got us in right away to be seen, and Dr. Thaw was able to identify the problem quickly. My dog had ingested some sort of drug on our walk earlier that day. Dr. Thaw was reassuring and knew exactly how to treat my dog. She presented my options without pressure and let me choose how to proceed with care. This was a very scary time for me, and I'm grateful for the care and expertise at this animal hospital. I would highly recommend Dr. Thaw, and am really impressed with how Mayfair Animal Hospital handled the whole situation.

A good place to go if you don't mind waiting & waiting & waiting & not being allowed to go in. They sold me an expensive vaccine & told me all I had to do was show up at my appointment time for the booster & they would come out & give booster. I show up, 15 minutes later they call & say it's a wait; not able to give estimate just ER dogs ahead of me. They took in one non ER dog while I was waiting and released one non ER dog. Phone person got on my nerves almost instantly. Went for an ER visit recently, they said 45 minutes, 2 hours later they bring him in. I call an hour later and they still haven't seen him. Good with big dogs.

My vet tech Ashley was amazing! So polite and professional. Very relaxed and knowledgeable in everything she said. She kept myself calm along with the two small children I had with me. Doctor Elliot was very smiley and quick with the right solution to my problem with my dog. Our visit went very quick. We were seen immediately and my dog was treated within minutes. I took my 9 month old puppy in due to an emergency GI issue. The check in process was pretty painless and when my dog was in with the doctor, the doctor called me and went over every detail of his health and presented me with three different treatment options. She thoroughly discussed each treatment option with me and together we decided on the best care plan for my pup. It has been one day since our visit, and my dog is almost completely healed. Highly recommend Mayfair Animal Hospital!!!

I wish you could make appointments here. It’s convenient having the option to bring my dogs for any service at any time. However, having to wait in the car for hours before my dog(s) can be seen, sometimes I do I wish I could make appointments with the technicians for general non emergency needs. You do have to be mindful of what care you’re agreeing to in regards to the care & the cost. Ask questions & Get the cost upfront. Not all recommendations are needed. The anti nausea injection costs $40 & has my dog vomiting in the car on the ride home. Both dogs seem better without it. Paid $250 for an X-ray of the abdomen for a small dog. No service is guaranteed to resolve the issue your pets.

I've only ever been to Mayfair Animal Hospital and I've continued to return year after year. We have now taken a total of four cats and one dog and for various services, including cancer treatment/surgery, and the staff are always professional, friendly, and have great communication. I also really love that they are open 24/7 and that they offer any service we have needed. It's rare to have availability to take your animals in during the day so to be able to go in at any time is a huge plus. I've worked with many of their physicians and have never had a bad experience. Recently we had to put one of our animals down and that was a first for me. The staff were incredibly accommodating, supportive, and mailed us a handwritten sympathy card from all of the staff members which was so thoughtful. For as hard as that experience can be, they did the best they could to make it as comfortable for us as possible. I'm thankful for their hard work ❤️

It feels weird to give 5 stars for euthanasia, but here we are. My parents dog -very- suddenly took a turn for the worse.... we called and they were able to help him peacefully go on to his forever sleep right away. My boy is not very people friendly and I've known that. When I asked if they worked with more anxiety aggressive dogs they did not hesitate. They have not pushed him into a corner or try to make me think he is "dangerous" because they understand he is the bestest boy when he is home or out on walks with me. And that not everything he went thru before I got him was good. That alone means everything to me and is why I will go to them for my vet needs in the future.

We were told there would be a 2-3 hour wait Sunday night so we prepared to sit in the car for a while but we ended up leaving after just over an hour which was great! We feel that our dog got great care here and the staff was wonderful and answered all of our questions. We will be back here if we ever need emergency veterinary services.

We took our 2 yr old shih tsu pup to Mayfair animal hospital on Friday after being told at another emergency clinic it would be a 4 hour wait. She was taken in to the clinic and seen within 15 minutes of our arrival. The staff called to let us know exact pricing, hiw she was doing, and the test results within 30 minutes after she was taken in. Mayfair was $50 cheaper for the office visit and only ran the necessary tests. We had our pup back within an hour and were given directions for care and medication with instructions. I would recommend this animal hospital for any and all veterinary needs.

They did an amazing job taking care of our injured dog in a short notice. The caring professionalism was genuine. Great respect for our dog and us. We will move our business over to them after this great experience.

My dog Vanessa caught a bad virus from my daughter's dog. She couldn't stop coughing, she wasn't eating. I just knew they were going to put her down,. She's old and haven't had her shots. My uncle abandoned her last year. Although it was a wait in the parking lot, the vet saw me crying & rushed Vanessa in, she threw up blood. They gave me antibiotics and pills for her cough. They also called me to check up on her. The bill wasn't high. She's eating again, and the coughing stopped. Thank you guys so much. (Oh, they wanted to do xray but i declined.)

We are fairly new to the Milwaukee area and hadn’t established a vet service for our dog yet. When she wasn’t acting herself it was suggested that we take her to Mayfair. I have to say they were absolutely wonderful. With the Covid things are done quite differently but went rather smoothly. Once they had some answers the vet herself called on my phone to update me and make recommendations. Two days later the vet called with blood test results and to check on our dog. Again, the following day, one of the techs called to see how she was doing. To me they went above and beyond, were very friendly, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Mayfield.

Visited twice in 72 hours for my 12-year-old cat. One vet seemed very thorough and personable, the other vet not so much. Recommended a lot of tests which I declined because when I asked what they were for they just said to rule out 'things'. I never got any diagnosis for the cat, did get some medicines like anti-nausea and stomach coating medicines. Cat recovered on her own; I'm not sure the vet provided much value.

We had to take our dog there because he had a gash on his side. The technician we spoke to on the phone and came out to get our dog was very nice. Dr. Thaw was very nice I felt completely comfortable having to leave Scout there for stitches. The receptionist staff is not very personable on the phone. They are very short and no personality on the phone. The one receptionist hung up as I was trying to say good bye have a good night. My boyfriend and I had to take our dog here late at night for an emergency. She appeared to start having seizures out of no where and we had no idea what she was wrong with her. I recently had to take my 5 month old to Mayfair Animal Hospital after she threw up multiple times and was becoming fatigued. Being outside of normal business hours, I contacted my vet to find a recommendation for an animal hospital. From the moment I called Mayfair Animal Hospital to discuss the situation until after my puppy was discharged home, I felt very comfortable with the care that she was receiving. My dog required emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction and had to stay overnight. Vet staff called often to give me updates. They thoroughly explained follow up needed. Lastly, they even called a few days afterwards to check on my puupy’s progress. I am most thankful for the thoughtful, caring, competent staff and would highly recommend this clinic.

The vets here have done a great job caring for out pets on the several occasions over the years that we have had cause to bring them in. They seem to provide better care than other emergency vets we have seen, provide good information with multiple options on how to proceed with treatment, and do all of this at a lower price point than many emergency vets. These days, this is the only place that I will go if my pets need urgent after hours care.

I have to say that for a first time visit and then a follow up I have really been impressed with the Mayfair Animal Hospital. The staff had great attitudes and really seemed to care about my animals. They recommended treatment and found some things that my regular vet must have missed not even a month ago. I am seriously considering making this my primary vet at this point. After our visit they called just to ask how everything was going and to check on progress with our cat! That was only a couple days after we went in, in an emergency situation none the less. I cant say enough about the staff and the atmosphere. It has been just amazing to stumble upon this place in an emergency at 9pm and have to consider my primary veterinary care. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I have brought 3 dogs here and seen a different vet every time, but they're always great with them. I always just walk in with no appointment and their prices are great. I recently had to put down my 20 year old beagle that I was still questioning if I was making the right decision. The vet, Dr. Green, took time to talk me through it and comfort me. The vet tech was wonderful and sensitive as well. It was one of the hardest days of my life, but even knowing I didn't have to call to make an appointment to put my dog down was a comfort. Thank you all for your wonderful care.

When I noticed my cat Doug showing strange symptoms, I took him to Mayfair Animal Hospital. Turns out, he had a urinary blockage! While I might have been a little hysterical, the staff and doctors were SO informative, helpful, and kind. I called so many times with so many questions and every time they reassured me that it was okay, and answered everything I wanted to know. They also were so quick to diagnose and fix the problem, took INCREDIBLE care of Doug, and I was so relieved to know he was in good hands. I love the staff at Mayfair Animal Hospital. My dog was hit by a car and needed to stay overnight. Although they wanted to keep an eye on him to ensure the outside of his lungs didn't fill back up with air, they encouraged us to come and visit him and even sent us pictures. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure you know your pet is in good hands. I knew my dog was happy as well - waging his tail and licking the staff when they entered. I felt better knowing he was in good hands and they genuinely care for the animals as if they were their own.

Although I wasn't able to go inside because of covid, I felt that my pet was safe with them. I know how other pet parents feel; it's incredibly difficult to be apart from your pet/member of you're family. However, Mayfair Animal Hospital put me at ease. The vet techs were knowledgeable, empathetic, and treated my cat the same way I would. And the vet herself was fantastic and passionate about caring for animals. I would definitely recommend. And if need be, this is where I will go if my cat is unwell.

I'm so glad to have found this vet Clinic. They're open 24/7 with no appointment necessary. The best part is they charge standard visit fees not crazy emergency fees. I brought my cat in about 6pm on a Tuesday night due to straining to urinate and blood in urine. They did a wellness exam and determined he wasn't blocked, but couldn't do an analysis because poor kitty relieved himself in transit. However, they decided to treat for two most likely issues and sent us home with 3 medications and helpful information for what to keep my eye on. I expected the bill would be over $250 for sure given it was typical "after hours" visit at other clinics. I was happily surprised to find out it was $149. I've paid as much as $450 in the middle of a weekday at an area emergency vet clinic with my last cat and they were useless and unpleasant. Anyway, the staff is friendly and vets are knowledgeable and helpful at Mayfair Animal Hospital. Their pricing for walk-in 24/7 services is the best deal around. I'm switching to their clinic for regular care as well.

I am normally not someone to post a review, but I was so impressed with my experience with Mayfair Animal Hospital this week. My new puppy had what appeared to be a strangulated hernia discovered after my regular vet’s business hours. The team at Mayfair Animal Hospital was not only immediately responsive to us when we walked through the door, but they also provided comfort and confidence in how to meet my puppy’s needs. At no time did I feel pressured to accept their services. And, the entire time, I thought they had my dog’s needs as their primary focus. The Veterinarian there on Tuesday night was clearly very experienced and understanding of my lack of familiarity with him. Super impressed. I left my puppy in their hands, they took extraordinary care of him and will highly recommend them to any friends or family.

I drove up to the hospital and parked in the one of the numbered spots. I called the hospital main line and told them what I needed. Today I needed dog licenses. Since I was here last year doing this, all I had to do was provide updated rabies vaccinations. You stay in the car while the veterinarian assistants come to you. They came to get the paperwork and the receptionist took care of the payment via phone, I had a charge card. The receptionist came back out with the receipt, paperwork, and licenses. This was all done rather quickly. I drove home.

My dog has intervertebral disc disease and had a flare up on a Saturday night. There were a couple emergency cases before my dog could be seen, but the wait was worth it. The staff was incredibly friendly (even though it was midnight!) and quick once they brought him in. The vet answered all of my many questions patiently so I felt very comfortable with the treatment plan and being able to keep him comfortable at home. Soooo thankful to have the option to come here rather than a typical emergency room. My dogs are my babies and it’s nice to have people who understand that. 🙂

My dog was having some issues breathing, with coughing, sneezing, some diarrhea, lack of appetite, and lack of energy. My regular vet was not able to bring him in for a same day appointment, so I looked online and found out about Mayfair Animal Hospital. I called in the morning and asked for a same day appointment. I told them about my dog's symptoms and was told to simply bring him in when I could, they were open 24/7 for walk-ins and had an emergency doctor on site. They took some of my basic information on the phone to make registration faster when I got there. About two hours later, I arrived to the clinic and checked in at the front desk. I had to complete one page of paperwork. Less than ten minutes after turning the paperwork in, we were taken to a room in back after getting my dog's weight. The facility was clean. Sara, a vet tech on duty, then came into the room about 5 minutes later. She asked me about my dog's symptoms, health history, etc. and asked follow up questions. She was very friendly with both myself and my dog. After taking my information, she told me the doctor would be in shortly. 20 minutes later, Dr. Elliot arrived in the room. She was incredibly friendly and you can tell she loves animals. She thoroughly examined my dog and was able to diagnose my dog as having kennel cough, a skin infection, and gastric upset. She explained my dog's conditions in great detail, answered all of my questions, and was incredibly knowledgeable. She went over treatment options with me, recommending antibiotics and a bland diet. She wrote out a full treatment plan explaining everything that I needed to do at home, when to call my regular vet for a follow up, and conditions where I would need to bring him back to an ER. They were also able to fit him and send him home with an Elizabethan collar right at the clinic. When I checked out, I was a bit anxious to see what the bill would be. I was shocked to learn the exam fee is only $75, plus around $65 for two weeks of medications. Not bad for a visit on such short notice. Overall, I will continue to drive out here for my vet ER needs. Everyone was friendly and concerned about my dog and I, the staff are knowledgeable, and the facility is wonderful. The extra distance for me is worth it.

I didn't actually get to go to this appointment. However, my partner brought my dog here as a last resort. All week he had been experiencing eye discharge, lethargy, on and off fevers, and it got to a point where he wasn't eating or drinking. Over time I had brought my dog to 2 other vet services, 1 regular vet appointment and 1 emergency vet appointment. None of them were able to recognize what was wrong. We chose this place since they offered a reasonable and affordable initial payment. Finally a week and 1/2 later after showing his first symptoms he started to grow a giant abscess right by his left shoulder. It was only recognized by us because it broke the skin and had started bleeding. The reception staff were able to quickly provide a suggested diagnosis, and they were seen by the vet shortly after. In the end my dog had to have an abscess drained, and was finally prescribed some antibiotics. I had to call the next day since my fiance couldn't remember if there were any wound care instruction. I was able to talk to the vet tech to was there for the draining. I am just super happy my dog is back to normal, and is as happy as can be. Thank you!

Had to make the unfortunate decision to let my elderly kitty go after a tough couple days. I was unable to get into my regular vet and was apprehensive to go elsewhere but the staff at Mayfair Animal hospital was very comforting and helpful through this painful time. They were honest about their diagnosis and didn’t try to do any unnecessary tests, blood work etc as I’ve experienced with other emergency animal clinics. They did inform me of alternatives if I chose to go that route and what it would entail and look like. They offered a calm guiding hand and were respectful and patient during the whole process.

Lakeshore vet was a little busy at the time (where we usually take our pup) so we went to Mayfair Animal Hospital to get my puppy's infection checked out on a weekend. The prices were super reasonable, and the staff was attentive and extremely helpful. I loved how the vet gave options instead of only suggesting the most expensive option, and sent us home feeling very secure and confident in our puppy's care and recovery. My new cat, Bowie busted an eardrum on a Saturday night and I was looking for a weekend place near me to take her to. I know that some places charge more on weekends, but she needed to be seen sooner.. then later. I was in tears thinking this is going to cost a lot, but she needed to be seen. I was in shock by the final cost, because it was so low!! This place TRULY loves to help pets and thier parents too!!! The bill had every thing they did and how much it was. They called me 2 days later to see how Bowie was and if I had any more questions for them. I can't THANK the staff enough for what they did. I am now taking all of my Fur Babies here. Everyone knows how hard it is to find a vet that they can trust..and I found one that fits our needs and a bill we can afford!!

We visited on 2 different occasions and both times were after hours or on a Sunday. We were seen in a very reasonable amount of time. They were very up front about cost of treatment and I really liked that the doctor wanted to start with a more conservative approach since the exam showed my cat was not critically ill. The first time we were in, kitty had not improved and we had to come back the next day. They waived the exam fee since we had returned within 24 hours of the initial appointment. I really appreciated the follow up phone calls a few days later, too. I would hesitate to go back.

I took my dog, Bella, to Mayfair Advanced Animal Hospital on a Saturday evening. I called ahead, as it is curbside pick up/dropoff due to Covid. They were able to take Bella with very little wait and were fantastic! They are very caring, compassionate, and professional. Although I was waiting in my car, the vet techs called and gave me updates regarding what needed to be done (Bella had 2 lacerations that needed to be stitched). When the vet was able to see Bella, she also called me and advised me of what was going to be done. Afterward the vet tech called me to let me know that all had gone well and gave me medication instructions. Everyone was very thorough, which I appreciated! Although middle of the night emergency visits can be costly, I felt that the prices were reasonable, all things considered. Also.... many years ago, my high school aged son found an injured baby bunny. Not having the heart to watch it suffer, he took the bunny in to Mayfair Animal Hospital to be euthanized. When he tried to pay them, the wouldn't accept any $ from him. That was unexpected and very kind of them! I was so impressed by that moment years ago, that when I needed care for Bella, they came to mind as my first pick, rather than another place that was actually closer to my home. I feel that the team that works here truly care about animals!!

Very happy with the customer service here rather then at the VAC animal er in Greenfield. Our dog was puking blood so we took her in immediately. They checked our dog in with the doctor which only took 30min, and she stayed overnight on medications. We picked her up later that day, with our puppy looking happy as can be. We bring in our rescues to this clinic pretty frequently. The doctors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and are always there to help, 24 hours a day. The technicians are always helpful and go above and beyond. The receptionists are patient and friendly. We can’t say enough good things about them. We recently brought in an emergency for an intestinal blockage. Dr. Johnson took excellent care of our dog, found the obstruction, and 2 days later, our he is recovering in a foster home. I would absolutely recommend this clinic.

Our sweet rescue pup has high anxiety during appointments and also does not care to cross paths with other furry friends in the waiting room. Even though there is often some turnover in staff between visits, the overall culture and values of the clinic are clear in supporting pets who may not be the easiest to work with. They are always respectful and kind with us and our pup. They also room us right away if I call ahead so that she doesn’t need to cross paths with other pets while waiting. We moved 20 minutes away and have tried 2 other clinics...neither of which provided the understanding and care during appointments that we have received at Mayfair Animal Hospital. We also appreciate the 24 hour support if we need to call after hours. Last, the reminder emails and letters make it easy to stay on top of her routine care, even if going to the vet isn’t anyone’s favorite in this house :).

I have had to utilize the after hours services for our old dog a number of times in the past year. Every visit we were treated with compassion and given options and always informed of what was going on every step of the way. We said goodbye to our old dog there last week and the staff was kind and caring during a very hard goodbye. Today, I took my sweet old cat in (whom admittedly took a back seat to our dogs needs in recent past) and appreciated that I was not spoken down to or made to feel guilty for not being right on top of kitties needs. I felt like the vet heard my concern, asked me my goals, and worked with me to make a plan for getting kitty back in tip top shape.

Love this place! We had lost a dog due to a misdiagnosis at a different 24 hour hospital not too far away from this one so we were hesitant to take our dog to another 24 hour vet. I'm so glad we did. Great staff, accurate diagnosis and meds provided to keep her comfortable until we could see our vet. Staff kept us posted on how long we would be waiting and apologized for the delay even though we were in and out fairly quickly. Hoping we don't have to visit on an emergency basis again but feel confident taking her back there if needed.

Had to bring my 5yr old pitbull terrier in for emergency stitches on his ear. I called ahead and let them know I was coming. We got checked in and taken care right away. My dog gets really nervous but they took great care of him. Very pleasant, very personable staff. I highly recommend.

We chose to start coming to Mayfair based on recommendations from some people and I have been extremely happy with our experience thus far. Today I took our puppy in for his last round of vaccinations. I was told he met everyone back there becuse he was so friendly. Shortly after we got home he started to have an allergic reaction to something. I quickly took him back to Mayfair where she instantly took him back and they got him taken care of immediately. Once they brought him to the exam room they put me in, they explained to me what was going on and what they did when they took him back. They even made sure the doctor came out to check on him before we were discharged. I’m a new “dog mom” and was pretty freaked out by everything going on. The staff were so patient and kind and just further solidified we made the right choice taking our pup to them. THANK YOU to the staff for everything! I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a vet for your animal.

They were quick and efficient in taking care of my cat. They diagnosed him quickly with a URI and sent us on our way with some medication. The Vet was kind and I was very happy with the way he interacted with my cat. The wait time was okay because they weren't busy but honestly they act as an animal ER and you need to expect a wait time especially if you don't have an emergency. Will definitely return with my other animals.

I had an emergency with my kitten. Due to covid we could not enter the clinic. But they kept us updated via phone while we sat in the lot. Gave us very detailed info on what they were going to do and worst case scenario. Called in middle of night to update me and then again in the morning. I called again with questions and they responded immediately. They seemed to truly care how my kitten and my family was doing. They also followed up a few days after we had been home. Great care.

This place was wonderful. We have been to a few emergency vet establishments and this one is the best. I would recommend calling ahead of time to make sure the doctor is not in a Emergency surgery. They care for your animal just as much as you do. Even if you have questions after your visit they will do their best to help you. Unfortunately we did have to put our cat down but his was the right place to do so. For a $35 they will give you imprints of your animals paws. They were very patient and accommodating for me and my boyfriend during this difficult time. We have 3 more animals and if some kind of emergency were to happen to them this would be the 1st place I would choose to take them.

I came in with my dog the day before Thanksgiving, wait time was very reasonable. He had a really bad what I later learned was called a "hot spot." They seemed very organized, they called me to inform me what they recommended for him and were not pushy at all. The price was wayyy lower than I was planning on paying for an emergency service so that was an added bonus. Definitely recommend!

Appreciated the short wait times but they didn't give my dog anti inflammatory meds or antibiotics after removing a torn dew claw and she ended up with an infection and a paw swollen to 2x it's normal size. My regular vet said Mayfair tries to give new vets some practice, which is great, but I would've hoped for better oversight from a resident type vet to catch stuff, so I don't know that'll I return.

This is a really great facility. They always fit you in, and even when all hell is breaking loose (since they’re 24 hours and get a lot of emergency visits) you never seem to wait that long. The vets always spend a very good deal of time with my animals when examining them (I have both dogs and cats) answering all my questions and referring me to specialists as needed. I’ve been taking my animals there on an as-needed basis for three years but am going to make them my full-time vet. Their pricing is upfront and more than fair – I’ve expected to pay quite a bit more than I’ve been charged on several occasions. Mayfair Animal Hospital is just an all-around, high-quality care veterinary facility.

I had a slight emergency with my fur baby, and our vet wasn’t open, so I needed an emergency vet. I called and asked about the wait, and they told me an hour. We got there, and the wait was less then an hour. Due to Covid we couldn’t go in so they called to communicate every little detail and even came outside to do one of the test. The vet called with her findings and gave us options before she did anything. Mayfair vet was very professional, attentive, and caring. Thank you for taking good care of my fur baby.

Every time we go here we are seen quickly and receive exceptional service. Our problems are always addressed and taken care of in the best way. And not to mention they do not “over treat” or charge for unnecessary things. My beloved pup has had a couple of emergency health issues over the years. I would like to send my sincere thanks to the folks working the evening shifts at Mayfair Animal Hospital & Emergency, especially Dr. Thaw. We had to take our dog in around 3:00 AM Sunday morning after she had 2 seizure-like events; it was one of the scariest nights of my life and we had to do a curb side drop off at the hospital to boot (thank you COVID-19). Dr. Thaw called us multiple times throughout our wait to make sure we were well informed as to what was going on and she was such a comfort, even over the phone. Knowing that we have a place to go in emergencies where our dogs are well cared for is such a relief. Thank you!

I always get exceptional care at Mayfair Animal Hospital. Everyone is so nice and everything is always explained carefully. The veterinarian's there always are thorough in everything they do. I like that I can walk in without an appointment even though it means I might have to wait awhile. I never have to wait very long actually at all unless there's an emergency. I like the fact that they are a sister clinic to the Hales Corners Veterinary Hospital which is where I usually go. This way they can look up anything that I have had done when I don't remember all the details.

After taking my Yorkshire Terrier to her regular vet three times in a week without any answers to her diarrhea, she developed fluid retention in her chest and abdominal cavities. I rushed to the Mayfair Animal Hospital because it was the closest emergency vet to my home. Drs. Reed, Ryan, and Johnson were attentive to her condition and compassionate with me as the owner. Unfortunately her condition, protein loosing enteropathy, is very common in yorkies and her prognosis wasn’t great to begin with. The vets offered counsel and kindness when I made the decision to put her to sleep. I know she was in good hands while they cared for her, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my other dog to them to care for as well.

Mayfair Animal Hospital is the place that I have taken my dog for the last 4 years since we moved to Wauwatosa. It is convenient, open 24 hours in case of an emergency, and has great staff. Not only that but they can usually quickly get you an appointment if you need one. They have been great with my dog and I will continue to go there.

My "niece" dog was staying with me and was experiencing some issues with itching and biting at a spot on her back end. The front staff was wonderful; efficient and caring. My 13 year old cocker spaniel dislocated his hip. With the Covid restrictions the staff came to my car and crried my dog in. She was attentive and caring. As we discussed his injury and possible treatments and outcomes, the doctor and technitions listened to and answered my questions thoroughly. I brought my 11 year old Chihuahua in and she was quickly diagnosed with pyometra whis is a very serious infection of the uterus. I was told that it was an emergency and she needed emergency surgery. I asked if we could try antibiotics first because the cost of the surgery. The doctor was very understanding and nonjudgemental. He sent me home with antibiotics and strict instructions that if she got any worse I would need to bring her in immediately. I went home and researched her condition only to learn that most dogs do not survive with treatment of antibiotics only. I called other animal hospitals and their fees were much higher than Mayfair Animal Hospital. I took her back the same day to have the surgery. The cost was reasonable and the care was outstanding. It was clear to me that the staff loved animals and cared for the owners. I think the doctor could have tried to make it more clear to me that the surgery was the more successful option and that antibiotics almost never work, but I think he was trying to he sensitive to my feelings and the financial aspect of the surgery.

I took my 17 year old cat here at midnight on the night before New Years Eve. I called ahead to make sure they would be open and not have weird holiday hours--the receptionist was very nice and asked me some basic information so I wouldn't have to retell it when I got there (cut down on some of the work so the vet could get started right away.) It was pretty empty, but they still had a good amount of staff there (probably about 4 people that I saw around.) The vet was very personable and kind. Both he and the tech remarked at how pretty my cat is (which all cat owners love) and was very empathetic towards her (which is reassuring to see a vet do.) He explained the biology behind what was probably the matter (dehydration leading to constipation, which makes cats throw up, and she was in a lot of pain from it.) He also explained what might be causing it and suggested I follow up with my regular vet to do further testing of her kidneys. He said that he could do it, or we could just fix the problem at hand tonight and make sure she was comfortable. When we went in the back so he could show me the scans they did and explain what the issue is and what he was going to do to fix the situation, I saw her in her cage next to a lot of sleeping animals. She shook her back foot (a thing she does when she feels it's wet or cold) and he asked if that's something she does often, so I told him she doesn't like the floor in the cage and he immediately found a soft, fuzzy blanket and fixed up her cage to make sure she was more comfortable. They explained the pricing for what they expected to have to do and how long it would take ($375 and 2 hours), and about an hour later, they were finished and my bill was only $180. I told the receptionist that it didn't seem right--the vet had told me around $375. She said that they like to give the worst case scenario that they're expecting so if it changes, it'll likely be in the client's favor. They gave me a summary of everything they thought might be something my regular vet would want to take a look at, meds for my kitty, and some serious peace of mind knowing that I found a 24hr emergency vet that I would recommend to any fellow pet owners.

They are open 24 hours, and very affordable. However, the vet never gave my cat a definitive diagnosis, and they did not discuss any costs with us prior to treating my pet. They also listed the name of my male cat as DIANE in all his records, thought his name is DAN (this was provided to them in a written form as well as verbally.) They treated my cat in a timely and effective way, but the whole interaction felt impersonal and too business like.

Today we took her to a different vet because symptoms had worsened; she had respiratory and wound infections. I'm not sure that they missed anything, but here we are... The entire staff here is FABULOUS! My dog needed surgery and all of the staff was fantastic when I was very emotional dropping him off. Dr. Mallo personally called me twice on his day of surgery to give me updates. As a new dog owner, I will try to write a review that is as objective as possible (facts only), and hopefully my review will help another pet owner that needs to make a decision on where to take their pet. Good luck! Here goes: 1. The place was very clean and they even immediately mopped the floor when my puppy peed in one of the examination rooms. 2. The staff that we dealt with on the first day (my puppy had an overnight stay and remained there for 24hrs) was very professional and respectful. 3. On day 2, the girl who was at the reception desk made a technical error when she was explaining my total costs. I had paid a deposit the previous night and she erred when explaining the breakdown and the remaining costs, leading me to think I had spent less than I actually did. It wasn't a big deal and I figured it out quickly; however, one should be competent enough to be able to explain to their customer the breakdown of their bill with 100% accuracy. I’m anal about stuff like this but I think it’s justified if you’re about to pay a bill that is over $800. 4. The vet that attended to us on the first night seemed knowledgeable though overly cautious in his communication. He almost felt like a “doom and gloom” kind of guy because he seemed to pivot more to the worst case scenarios on almost all the questions/potential issues that were affecting our puppy. He also seemed a little impatient which bothered me because if it's my turn to be attended to then I expect to be attended to because I am paying you to do so! We weren’t being unreasonable and a great deal of a doctor’s job is to answer their patient's questions. Therefore, he was being rude in that regard – it could be his personality and that I perceived it differently. 5. On the second day, after our puppy had an overnight stay, my wife told me that the vet she dealt with during the day when she went to visit our puppy was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. 6. As far as affordability, the place is very expensive. Granted some medical procedures are quite costly, I think part of their high pricing is attributed to the fact that they serve as an ER, and we all know anytime you go to the ER you’ll pay BIG bucks. This may be a deterrent to potential customers; however, sometimes one may not have a choice. The fact is that they wouldn’t be operational if they weren’t profitable and from the look of things, business was good on their end. 6. Would I go back there in an emergency situation? Probably not especially if I have other more affordable choices which I will be investigating so that next time I have more options to pick from. 7. Would I recommend the place to another customer? I would suggest that you investigate and find out if there are any other clinics before you go to this place. They are open 24/7 AFAIK and, unfortunately, it may be your only choice depending on your situation/emergency. They will do a good job though. 8. The overall quality of service was good but not exceptional. Moreover, there wasn't anything extraordinary about neither the place nor the services that we received that would warrant me to rate the place 5 stars. 9. Some customers mention that there was no fee to walk in; however, that may be way back when. Now, there's a $52 consultation fee.

These folks truly care about animals. I was hand-raising an orphaned kitten who was doing very well, until just around 3 weeks old. I brought him in, and it was professionallyd but quickly communicated to others waiting that kitty's situation was most emergent. The care he received waa astounding. They were quick but very thorough, and were very personable. Sadly, I ended up putting my little mighty kitten down later that day, and the Dr and staff were PERFECT. They went over ALL the options with me, were straight-forward with prognosis, and supportive of my questions and decisions. They went above and beyond to allow me to hold my little guy as he crossed the rainbow bridge, which meant everything. I miss him, but I couldn't have asked for a smoother ans more empathetic experience, should I have to repeat it.

We brought our dog here thinking she was constipated, after trying every home remedy we could think of. It turned out she had a large mass that was preventing her from urinating, which was causing a great deal of pain and discomfort for her. They were wonderful about explaining every option and procedure ahead of time, as well as the costs so we knew exactly what was happening at all times. In the end everyone agreed that her chances of making it through a risky operation at her age was unlikely and would put her through more anguish than she deserved. Because of the kindness of Mayfair Animal Hospital our baby girl was able to pass away in a room with her family around her. It was an incredibly difficult day for us, but the staff here were so kind and thoughtful. They even sent a card not long after that all the staff members had signed wishing us their sympathies.

I used this vet many years ago and just returned after recently returning to the area. Everyone is very friendly. The vets have always given me a sense of confidence in their abilities. They seem to have average prices on some things and other things seem somewhat higher than other places. However, they give you an estimate before any expenses occur. You don't need an appointment and they are open 24 hours. If you have an emergency it is only $58 to be seen by a doctor.

Best place i had the honor to take my Big Baby Boy Duke on those unexpected moments in the middle of the night. The staff is amazing, polite and always keep you updated on your pets progress. The staff and the care is amazing. We adopted a puppy from Madacc, who ended up having some severe medical issues. MAH is the only vet we took him to that was able to find out the real cause of the problem, and we went several places. Dr. Kayla is AMAZING! I owe my dogs life to her and her diligence. Throughout his treatment, we have also taken him here for his nail trims and vaccines. This is now my primary vet, as I just don't trust anyone else with the care of my baby!

July 2019-- I took my 9wk puppy for a wellness and vaccine visit. I had an appointment at 8. I was not seen until 845 by a vet tech and then finally saw a DVM at 915. Rediculously long wait for having an appointment and no information given during the wait to keep me informed. After reading other reviews and seeing the trend... I'll be looking for a new vet. Will only use this place in after hour times of need. 3 yrs ago--. Prompt when you have an appt. Great follow up from the Vet the next day to check on condition of my dog. SAME COST as my other vet.....but I can go when it is convenient for me w/o an appointment on occasions when I am otherwise to busy to set a time.

Extremely wonderful, we took our nursing dog with her first litter of 7 puppies and they were very caring and understanding (specially when she got very protective in the waiting room) they made sure to get us away from everyone else ASAP as well. Idk why people are saying they only care about money when they in fact do the complete opposite. We had suspicions the puppies had fading puppy syndrome, the test for that was about $300. They could have easily ripped us off but they didn’t. They gave us what they thought was best which turned out to be bloodwork, glucose test and x rays. Puppies were healthy and mom had signs of an infection. (Which we went with an antibiotic) I’m so happy and we will definitely be returning here. They really do care. Thank you so much to the doctor we saw today and the staff too ofc.

I took my “furbaby”, Leflair, in for an unknown pain source @ 5am. last week. They picked up my dog from the car as I waited in the car. They contacted me via phone and then they proceeded to treat him as I explained the symptoms he had been experiencing. After an examination, they called and gave me a diagnosis and the costs for treatment that would be reasonable for me to take him home. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We took our cat in after hours on a weeknight because he was not eating and was just not acting like himself- very vague symptoms. The staff was able to diagnose him with pancreatitis and dehydration right away, and got him started on meds and fluids immediately. Before they did anything, they always typed up a printed estimate for us to see and okay, and they always presented us with our treatment options. The vets were amazing at explaining everything that was going on with him, and they called twice a day for the two days he was hospitalized (and encouraged us to call if we wanted to check in). They were extremely empathetic and did not make us to feel pressured or guilty for anything. When we left him there our only comfort was knowing that he was in the absolute best place and best hands with 24 hour care and suppport. The staff are all very friendly and kind, and we are so happy they were able to heal our cat! I would highly recommend this place to any friend or family member!

Came in at 10 P.M after my old lab snapped at my rat terrier. She had a scratched sclera (white of the eye) and a small cut on her ear. With three different meds, an exam, and dye to assess her eye situation, it was only $195! I've taken other dogs to vets for my job and I know it's very easy to rack up a large bill some places, especially E.R vets. We were seen promptly, everyone was courteous and friendly! (Even saw to her nails which she is SUCH a terror for.) I recommend!

I have 2 Samoyeds and 3 cats. One Sammy had cancer surgery that went very well. About $1200.00 which I found reasonable. My other older Sammy had a ruptured anal gland, that cost around $700.00. No biggy. However, when it came to treating my cat for chronic sinus issues, every doctor had different approaches with different prices ranging from $80.00 to $1800.00!!! Too many inconsistencies with there "medical" opinions/treatments. They all need to get on the same page, that is my only complaint.I don't think they are out of line with there walk-in pricing at all. $50.00 is a standard office visit cost for many vets. Some of the doctors have recommended unnecessary treatments, however, in my opinion. (Driving the prices up.) In general, I think they are a good clinic, but not as "personal" as what I am use to. (My vet retired, and I haven't found another since.) Mayfair is affiliated with Companion Animal Hospital in New Berlin, almost like a fast-food chain, only a Vet Clinic. Not real crazy about that because you get a different doctor every time you walk in or make an appointment. I miss my Vet that knew my animals personally and treated me like they were a family doctor.

The pertinent information was carefully explained in order to give us the tools necessary to make the correct choice for our beloved pet. It was an awful time, but the support helped a ton. Bought my chi peanut here on 11-23-19 in the evening my dog was itching real bad she previously had a cone around the neck after being nuetured but she also had a skin condition that other vets states there was no problem there but we felt the sores , dog scratching when we took the collar off he began to scratched himself to bleeding when we took him here they gave him a flea chewable for every 90 days some shampoo for secondary bacterial infe tion and allergy pills waalah we saw great improvement by the 3rd day he was so long much better it has been 2wks my dog don't stink, sores disappeared, eyes are no longer red. Itching has stopped I'm so glad we took him here this will be our dogs vet thank you for your concern for our dog.

I was a long-time customer at Spirit of 76th but the level of attentiveness and care Mayfair provided my dog over the course of his surgery/recovery blows Spirit out of the proverbial water. This is a great place with 24/7 access, including walk-in availability on the weekends. Very convenient location with street parking right in front or in the lot off to the side. Fees seem very reasonable. Staff are very caring and calming. Good place to establish routine care and then you know they’re there 24/7 if an emergency comes up. I would highly recommend!

On Sunday Feb. 10th I took my dog Dusty in because he was acting really weird. Very lethargic and just wasn’t himself at all. Dr. Kayla came in and voiced her concerns and we presented us with the tests that needed to be ran and the cost ahead of time. She was very clear and upfront about everything. When the results were in we came to find out Dusty had IMHD. Dr. Kayla laid out the options, again very clearly, and we knew it was best that we help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. The technicians as well as Dr. Kayla were extremely companionate and allowed me to take all the time needed to say my goodbyes. I was not rushed at all. I cannot stress enough how companionate everyone was. I went back a few days later to pick up his remains and bring them home with me where they belong. Today, a little over a week after, I received a card in the mail, signed by all of the staff, offering their condolences for my loss. I am sorry for the people that have had a negative experience with this hospital but I have to say that I truly feel as though the staff cared. Through an extremely difficult time everyone made sure that I was not only taken care of but my dog was too. Thank you to Dr. Kayla and the rest of the staff at the Mayfair Animal Clinic, for your compassion and understanding.

The staff is friendly and caring. I had to take my cat in for urgent care. I couldn't ask for more compassionate care for my kitty.

Our cat (Felix) King of the neighborhood for over 12 years apparently was hit by a car. His head was gashed open fron the top of his head, through an ear and down his neck. My wife and the rest of the family thought it was over for him. Mayfair Animal Hospital fixed him up in a matter of hours. I have a special dog, Nina - if not for her, I wouldn't be here and able to write this review - if not for Mayfair Animal Hospital, I wouldn't have her... I took her to Mayfair Animal Hospital to be checked out after she hurt herself playing outside. It turns out she dislocated her kneecap and ruptured her CCL. When the Dr. told me this, I was overwhelmed and so incredibly sad and scared that I couldn't think. The patience, kindness and calmness I experienced from the team then, through the days prior to surgery, through her TPLO surgery, and ever since, were so needed while worrying about my little friend hurting or having to leave me. The MAH team has been so good to me - explaining things, more than once sometimes, and comforting me while I've worried. Words cannot express my appreciation. Thank you so much MAH!!
