My bunny wasn't feeling great, and I quickly learned how difficult it is do find vets who do anything more than nail trims on small animals. I was referred to Brook-Falls, and they were thankfully able to squeeze him in that day to check him out. The few staff members I spoke to throughout the day were kind and caring, and very thorough about his treatment and medications for the next few weeks. Dr. Wittenburg was great, and I would certainly recommend her to any small animal parent! Veterinary care is rarely cheap and this was no exception, but I felt that their rates were both reasonable and comparable to others. I'm so grateful for Brook-Falls and the care they gave my boy. He is feeling much better already :)

Everyone here is beyond nice and really knows what they’re doing. I was incredibly nervous for my rabbit’s neuter surgery, and they made me feel so much better. They did pre-op blood work and chest x-rays to make sure he was healthy enough for the surgery. The extra steps taken were really reassuring, none of which my previous vet offered. Dr. Krisp and tech Sheila did his surgery and it went great. They answered all my phone calls after his surgery and got him in asap for a onesie fitting when he was licking his wounds. I couldn’t be happier with the care we get here!

Their customer service is fantastic. Every single worker in the Vet hospital side are caring, so kind, patient, and so informative. I never felt rushed talking to them on the phone or even being in the vet as most vet clinics tend to overpack their schedule. They are on time with what they scheduled you for. This is the best customer service I've ever gotten from any Vet hospital/clinic and I've been to quite a few great ones because of moving. Although their customer service is amazing, their pricing is the most I've paid for. They aren't the most affordable clinic but they for sure got me to be their forever pet owner customer as they did such a fantastic job handling my two babies, Wanda and Parker. Wanda is a puppy and they have a great Wellness Plan for puppies that will cover her vaccinations, exams, etc, for a year. Parker is my sensitive/protective boy. He was my way of choosing the best vet as he's more complicated to work with. So if a Vet tech/Veterinarian was able to handle him, they will for sure be having us back. Great vets with great care are worth every dime.

The first time I’ve ever taken them to a vet (sense kittens) They were so kind and answered all of my questions. They definitely calmed my anxiety about taking my cats on a 15 hour car ride. The docs were so kind and respectful to my animals. 11/10 if I was still living in Wisconsin we would go back!

Awesome bird vet took special care euthanizing my 21 yr old beloved emden goose in a private room. They imprinted his feet in resin with a purple ribbon, put him in nice sturdy box to bury him. The next week, I brought in my young pet starling who broke his leg. Vet xray'd, fixed with splint, gave pain meds, high potency food & instructions for home care. Today Birdie is almost fully healed & enjoying life.🤗

They did amazing with my parakeet I called them because he’s been a bit fluffed up and acting a bit off and they got me in same day just to make sure he was alright. They were very thorough and good with him (and took his constant screaming with good humor). Sara was my Vet Tech and she made me feel super comfortable and was good with him being sassy! Dr. Wittenburg was my veterinarian and she was extremely knowledgeable and made me feel at ease knowing my feathered friend was in good hands. Overall the only veterinarian I will be taking my birds to ever again. You guys are awesome and thank you so much! 😊

Since moving back to the Milwaukee area we take our parrot and our cat here. It was recommended to us by a friend who has birds, and I was also directed here by my previous vet, in Florida, because it's one of the only offices in the area where the providers are credentialed by the Association of Avian Veterinarians (AAV). They're knowledgeable and have done a great job helping me care for our fur and feather babies.

We have been very pleased with this clinic. Dr. Wittenburg is fantastic; she always seems genuinely excited to see our hedgehog. She does a thorough exam and even let us listen to his heartbeat. Prices seem reasonable and I like that they specialize in exotic animals. They offer online scheduling which I really appreciate.

The staff is outstanding. So friendly and caring. Dr. Wittenberg called me every hour until 10pm to check on our rabbit's recovery from surgery. They even allowed me to drop Spooky off at the clinic while I was at work, so they could monitor her eating& drinking post-op. The staff called to check on the rabbit a couple times within the month after surgery to make sure Spooky was doing ok. I'd recommend this place to anyone who has a pet. I live an hour away, yet it was totally worth the drive. It's difficult to find exotic animal veterinarians. I'm so grateful that Brook-Falls Veterinary Clinic exists.

DR BlOSS is the best. And I took my baby mojo in I was so worried about the implant they were going to put in him . But she had put any worries I had a side by informing me in detail about the procedure. Not only is she a great Doctot you can tell she cares and loves animals. I came from Appleton with my swollen-faced leopard gecko. They didn't have time to figure out what was wrong with him during my appointment time (I was late), so they offered to, knowing I had come a distance, squeeze in a surgery and testing for him between other appointments. My baby was put under and had his face lanced. They were surprised to find no pus and no cancerous cells. He got an Xray. Doctor Wittenburg called me and explained everything, including how I can better give the oral antibiotics and oral anti-inflammatories he was perscribed, as well as recommending two soft food substitutes for the required force feeding. Dr Wittenburg really went above and beyond in getting him looked at and in accomodating me. I'm so glad I found this clinic!

Brook-Falls is a state-of-the-art Veterinary Facility with highly qualified Vets, thechnitians and administrative supporting staff. Our dog Mr Dean, a Miniature Schnauzer, is “spoiled” by Dr Wittenberg every time he goes for a visit. The waiting time is minimal as you come in with a previous appointment and though it is somewhat pricey; you get your money’s worth by the high quality of their professional healthcare services. We travel all the way from our home in Wauwatosa just to have our dog get the best care it can have and the place for that is Brook-Falls.

This is my second time coming here. They are very knowledgeable about birds. They got me in the next day because of a cancelation. I had a different doctor this time, but both were experienced with birds. This is my new veterinarian place to take my pets where I feel they are very caring and concerned and don't do unnecessary tests...just what is needed. I highly recommend them.

I have only good things to say about this veterinary, sadly my experience was a heart breaking one, we did have to bring my boy to the rainbow bridge with heavy hearts. But I am leaving this review because here at Brook Falls they really do everything in their power to get you the help your pet deserves. They went above and beyond my expectations and definitely helped in our grieving period, we were worried about how to get our boy back home and Kara and the team went behind our backs and got him delivered home. We are very grateful I know I gave a phone call but I wanted to also leave a review. I appreciate everything you guys did for us, and will always recommend you moving forward.

Great experience so far. I took my 7yr old bunny there to establish care for possible regular dental work, and was impressed with the staff, atmosphere, and products they offer for rabbits. Loved the coffee bar and comfy waiting room. The Dr and the tech I saw were both really personable, understanding, honest, and knowledgeable. I'm very hopeful that this will be a good place for my bunny boy to receive care. Just wish it wasn't almost a two hour drive for me!

I’ve had trouble finding a decent groomer with the experience and patience for our 14 year old dog who is sadly experiencing a lot of cognitive confusion and arthritis. Today, Dana groomed her and did an excellent job! She was highly skilled, understanding and calm, even as our dog squirmed and startled. Great groomer, very kind person. I have been taking my pets here for a bit now and have had nothing but great experiences. My 3 dogs and 2 rabbits have received top notch care. There have been a few times where I have needed a quick appointment and they always are able to get me in. Everyone has always been kind and loving to my animals from the front desk, to the techs, to the doctors. Dr. Harris is great with all of them and always gives options/ explains things clearly. It is not cheap, but as with anything, you get what you pay for. I know my pets are always in good hands with them.

I have a leopard gecko who had some issues with an infection. I live in a small town with no exotic vets. I initially brought him to a vet that was 1 hour and 45 minute drive. They referred me to Brooke falls because they were unable to meet his needs. I was a little hesitant to drive the almost 4 hours but am so glad I did. Dr Barajas has been amazing! I am a new reptile owner and was very anxious about everything my gecko had going on. Dr Barajas was very patient with me and all my questions. He took the time to explain everything that was going on. All the staff have been friendly, helpful and caring! Well worth the drive! Thank you all at Brooke Falls!

There are not many Aviary veterinarians to choose from and this place was reccomended to me. Dr. W. was very knowledgeable and all the staff was friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about doing their jobs. Location was easy to find, atmosphere was clean and lovely. Prices are reasonable too!

Everything was outstanding. Came in for an emergency hamster visit from an hour away due to my normal vet that Ive been having issues with being fully booked. They were able to get me a same day appointment, and were so kind over the phone. Honestly everything was done right and they were so willing to work with us. They allowed us in the room, were very informative and supportive. We ended up having to get our boy cremated and they went above and beyond in care. I would like to leave a personal thank you for all the staff here. I don't mind driving the hour for great service and will now prefer this vet over the one in my town.

Dr. Wittenberg did an awesome job with my bearded dragon Smaug. We came from 200 miles away, and she was able to fit him in for surgery. The rates where reasonable for the amputation of a very swollen toe. He is now on his way back to good health. I definitely recommend Brook Falls! Everything about our vet visit was heart warming, sensitive, just a relief knowing your pet was in good hands decreased my anxiety tremendously. I highly recommend Brook-falls<3 my sweet boy Fondue needed to be seen, hes a hamster and it was difficult to find a (very) small animal clinic. He was able to be seen later that day even. They sent us home with some medicine and peace of mind. Dr. Harris is very well educated and so kind. thank you guys for everything.

Brook-Falls Veterinarian Hospital is the best possible place to take your pet. They are professional, safe, reliable, and easy to work with. I searched and searched for the right place to take my bird and no where was good enough and I felt unsafe with other places until I found Brook-Falls. They took the best care of my bird who is not easy to care for. He seemed to only have days to live and thanks to their diagnosis and medication he has continued to live 2 months later and is a very happy bird. I brought my sick hamster to Brook-Falls for the first time. I was so impressed with the receptionist that took my call. She was kind and patient and got me in next day to see a vet. This was my first time going to this vet. I am very happy with the service. They were able to get me in fairly quick. The appointments went relatively quick as well. The doctor was very attentive and did a great job addressing all the issues I mentioned. And the vet techs were very friendly and took great care with my two rabbits. While they are kind of pricey, after the care I received it's worth it. Plus, after reading the pamphlets they gave me, I learned they donate a certain amount to a charity, and I love that. Makes it even better. I definitely recommend taking your pets here.

I was nervous taking my Hedgehog to the vet for the first time, as I've never had experience with an exotic vet before and never been to this facility. All of the staff were amazing and so nice! Dr. Wittenburg made sure I knew what she was doing at all times and had the best trick for getting Basil to open up; something that isn't easy to do with a grumpy hedgehog! Brook Falls has been a great Vet for our family to use. We bring our labradoodle there for daycare and any medical needs. She is always met with smiles from the resort staff and has been taken care of by the hospital staff. The management and doctor staff have always been up front about cost, treatments, and diagnosis. I would highly recommend any pet owners to Brook Falls for their daycare or medical needs; it is worth every penny. I would also like to compliment the staff and management team for their COVID practices. As a pet owner, I understand the difficulty of allowing someone to treat your pet without you being there. I fully trust the staff at Brook Falls to take care of my dog even without me being there. The drop off features are a nice change and preventative measure for the staff and clients.

I cannot reccomend Dr. Bloss and Brook-falls Veterinary Hospital enough!! They are amazing! I recently had 2 mice neutered there, it is VERY difficult to find a vet willing to neuter mice, but Dr Bloss does and at half of the price of the other vets (all over the state) that I called. I was so impressed with the Brook-falls vet staff and Dr. Bloss that I had my pets' records transferred there to make them the vet for all of my pets. Originally we were only planning to go there for the mice to be neutered, but we were so impressed we will be using them for all of our pets' care needs. We have exotic birds and 2 dogs with a rare illness and Dr. Bloss is willing and able to care for them (it is difficult to find one vet who can work with all of these needs). Dr. Bloss and her staff are kind, considerate, empathetic, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Brook-falls vet is a 1.5 hour drive (one way) for us, but it is completely worth it. Dr. Bloss and the team at Brook-falls vet will treat you and your pets like family. I highly recommend them!

This place is incredible. Being a rabbit owner can make it really hard to find a qualified vet, taking my rabbit Pebbles anywhere gives me a lot of anxiety. Brook-Falls got rid of all of those anxieties instantly. They were kind and welcoming upon arrival, so caring with Pebbles, communicated with me great (even with the COVID restrictions). Dr. Harris and her team did an outstanding job making me comfortable; they took multiple out of their way extra steps to do this: providing me with water upon arrival, folders of resources about rabbits, following Pebbles surgery I got an adorable sheet with a picture of him after surgery and Pebbles explaining his day, and I also got a follow up call the next day to see how Pebbles was doing. Reading some other reviews, there are a lot of concerns with price. I feel that the price correlates well with the quality of care you receive here. Thank you so much Brook-Falls.

I do not ever write reviews but the care and love that my ferret, husband, and I received from this office on Tuesday was beyond exceptional. We had to help our ferret cross the rainbow bridge after her health declined rapidly over the past month and a half. This was not just a ferret to us, she was our baby and also our first pet. We never even took her to this vet previously, but when I gave the call on Tuesday at nearly 3:30 pm (and hour and a half before they close) they made arrangements to make sure we didn't have to let our baby suffer another moment. Our vet was Jennifer and as hard as a process it is to have to put your pet to sleep- she made us so comfortable and made the process much easier on the heart. I can't say thank you enough for treating us like family that day and for the amazing compassion and care that we received. You've definitely gained our trust and respect and we look forward to using your establishment in the future for any and all care that our pets need.

After a few weeks of searching for an exotic pet veterinarian in the midst of COVID, we finally were able to get an appointment for my son's Chinese Water Dragon. Unfortunately, he was not in good health and the doctors shared the options with my son in the most careful, compassionate, and informative way. My 12 year old was able to easily process the information and understand that the best option was to put him down. The staff was the kindest, most caring group and helped him through the process as if this was a dog we had in our family for 12 years. They offered to make a foot print, which we picked up the next day as a lovely ornament we can hang on our tree, and they also sent a sympathy card. I really was so touched. We also brought our Bearded Dragon for a check up and they were very thorough and caring with her too (she is alive and well). I highly recommend them for any of your pet needs.

I take my buns (rabbits) here as there are not many veterinary clinics that see rabbits, especially on an emergency basis. I drive 50 minutes to see them, but the standard of care is worth it. They are knowledgeable and are great at communicating with you, your pet's condition. They even give a follow-up call to make sure things are improving with your pet. My recent visit I had Dr. Karklus and veterinary assistant, Cozzi, both were professional, caring, and clear in communicating what was going on with my bun and he is back to his loving, mischeivous self! We recently had to put one of our ferrets to sleep and Dr. Bloss went above and beyond to comfort us. We were blown away by her help and compassion during this difficult time. They didn't have any available appointments but allowed for us to come in and were immediately seen. We used the cremation service and received a beautifully packaged urn with several clay paw prints and tiny glass jars with her fur inside. We appreciate the professional service we received during this difficult time.

I brought my very sick ferret here upon recommendation from our regular vet because it was an emergency. I trust them, and called right away. I’m very glad I did. (You’ll understand why in a minute) Our Slinky was at death’s door, and I was mentally preparing myself to say goodbye. They took him in immediately (COVID restrictions and all). Dr. Barajas did everything he could, but the prognosis still wasn’t great. He explained everything thoroughly and compassionately. We were advised to monitor his quality of life, and even let him come home snuggled in one of their warm towels. Long story short, turns out he had a liver infection. Just like Dr. Barajas suspected. He showed improvement in a couple of days. I’m happy to report that as of today, about a month after treatment, he’s back to whipping around the room as ferrets love to do. Often he will even stand up and beg for treats again. It’s not easy for us exotic pet owners to find a vet for them, not to mention we can be helicopter parents for sure. But I recommend this place to anyone. They say they are just vets, but are actually angels in human form.😉

My daughter discovered Brook-Falls Vets when she adopted a gecko. When I took her for her first appointment I was impressed then reading about their wellness program - even more impressed! I now bring my pup, Teddy. Teddy just had his teeth cleaned. Although he would disagree with the experience, I knew he was in GREAT hands! All the Vets at Brook-Falls are wonderful however we are lucky enough to have Dr Wittenburg as Teddy's main Vet. She's caring, friendly, super knowledgeable and not judgmental (I'm not the best at brushing Teddy's teeth!). I'm sure I'm missing many adjectives to describe how wonderful she is! I must also mention that as soon as we enter, we're immediately greeted by a friendly assistant/receptionist/go-to person. I had an incredible experience from the Brook Falls Vet today. I recently(last week) brought my cat “Face”, one of my A-Team, to Brook Falls because he was having some issues with swallowing or choking or injury to his mouth in some way and I was in a panic because he was in a drooling , lethargic state when getting to their office. Not only did they take him without an appointment late in the day, but they treated him and had him back home with me the same night and stayed open an extra 45+ minutes past closing to do so. Face had to be brought in again last night with the same issues as last week and they agreed to keep him overnight because I wasn’t able to get there in time after work before they closed. They did this free of charge due to my current budget issues, I might add. Fast forward to today when I had a question about the billing and called to figure it out. Not only did they meet me half way, they actually went above and beyond and met me all the way which was surprising because they already went further than they had to up to this point. This in addition to their expert and caring staff has made me a customer for life!! I more than highly recommend them, I think you’re doing your loved pet a disservice if you don’t give Brook Falls a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Dr. Lien is so awesome. She's very gentle with my cat and is patient when answering all my dumb questions. Their vet tech Betsy was really nice too. I feel like I can trust them. I took my cat in for a dental cleaning today and I was very impressed with the level of care she recieved. They called me several times during and after the procedure to let me know what was going on. And at pickup they gave me before and after pictures of her teeth as well as a cute recovery photo of her snuggled up with a stuffed animal while waking up from the anesthesia. I just felt like they took really good care of her and that's the most important thing. On top of that, the cost of the treatment was reasonable, so I'm very happy. I should also mention that I've seen Dr. Wittenberg multiple times with my rabbits and she's great too. I think this is the best veterinary practice I've been to.

Caring and very friendly vets and staff. All of my animals have a doctor here and they love them! They also provide care for exotic pets! They give you the opportunity to watch your pet's checkup on your phone. The vet can hear you and is also able to talk back with you. A code is sent to your email. You use this code to join the appointment through Google Meet. They recommend using their wifi because the service works better that way. Good thing because you don't even need a phone with service, but it does need to have wifi connection available on it. I think being able to see what's going on with your pet is extremely important and I'm thankful they offer this service. I would definitely recommend this place to take your pets to. I'm pleased to have my pets be a part of this family. 🥰🥰

Dr. Follett was amazing with my guinea pig. She was able to do a thorough checking of his teeth, when other vets told me he'd have to be under anesthesia to do so! She really was knowledgeable about small animals and CVT Mandy was very good with handling Barnabas and keeping him happy with chin rubs! My only feedback would be for the office to provide more information on fees for services before doing them. A corneal stain, although helpful during the exam, was an unexpected $45 fee added to my bill, which I was not made aware of at the time of exam. In addition to the exam fee, and the fees of 3 medications... it was quite the bill for a guinea pig! All around, great service and knowledgeable staff!

I took my guinea pig Bogey to see Dr. April Wittenburg and her and her staff were so amazing!! Bogey's previous vet I had was not the greatest and treated her like a number. So I did some research and my friend told me about Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital. I loved that I could be in the exam room via zoom during the appointment which is so comforting. Dr. Wittenburg was so thourough, and took her time with us. She was so gentle with Bogey and treated her like her own! She listened to my questions and concerns and addressed everything. She was also reassuring and took my anxiety away. I've read some reviews about the prices being too expensive. The thing that I loved is that before they do anything they tell you the charges. I can see both sides but I highly recommend getting pet insurance for your pet. They have a plan where they reimburse you up to 90% of your expenses, there are a couple of exclusions but those are minor. I just lost her sister Marlowe at Christmas due to an ileus. It happened so quickly and I'm devastated. So with Bogey I'm not taking any chances. So if you want top quality care for your pet babies then this is the place to come! Thank you Dr. Wittenburg and staff!!

I will not go to another vet. I love the way everything is handled here. Everyone is friendly and professional on the phone and at the office. Unlike other veterinarian clinics that claim they see exotics, Brook-Falls can hold up to that promise. I have taken my birds and my reptile to another clinic that said they were able to see exotics and I left with not much information on their situations and a minimal understanding. I took each animal to the vets at Brook-Falls were they preformed tests and came up with an actual cause which then they could communicate in detail with me. I rescued a dog who was initially very fearful of pretty much everything. The staff at Brook-Falls have taken many extra hours to allow Kenya to become comfortable with the staff, and getting exams. The best exotic animal care that I have received in Wisconsin. I have two guinea pigs and the staff here is very knowledgable and caring. When one of my pigs stopped eating, I took him to a supposedly well known vet in Madison who did not do much except take expensive X-rays. I decided to take him to Brook-Falls for a second opinion and they were able to diagnose dental disease that was the source of his anorexia. 10/10 would recommend for small animal care!

When I couldn't get my normal vet for my bunny's emergency, I called Brook-falls. They managed to get me an appointment in an hour. Dr. Lien and everyone there was amazing, made sure my bunny was stabilized, that his pain was under control, and that he had enough fluids. Because BF unfortunately doesn't have some of their own equipment, they sent us to UW Veterinary Clinic and sent the information along and worked with UW so that my bunny was seen immediately. It saved his life. I am SO thankful to Brook-falls and the wonderful Dr. Lien. Can we please try to raise money for them to get some of their own equipment? I cannot say enough positive, kind things about Brook-falls. We felt cared for and we know our bunny was cared for. They really lifted my spirits, because I was a complete wreck. During this Covid 19 there are rules as to not walking into the offices with your pet. Been the first time going here and bringing my bunnie who is a new pet, I was worried as to how everything was going to go on. The girl that came out to pick him up was super sweet. Our son's new uromastyx had become covered in expanding foam that had not completely set in her environment. We got her free cleaned her best we could without feeling we could do no more than then rushed her to Brook-Falls Vet Hospital on a recommendation. Upon arrival we were greeted, explained the situation and quickly taken to an exam room. The staff quickly took her to begin assessing her situation and immediately took action to remove the foam. They diligently contacted us about an hour later to explain in detail what they had done, progress and recommended we pick her up later that day but offered for her to stay overnight at no additional cost. The Dr and tech were incredibly nice, patient, thorough. Just super people who you can tell genuinely care for the animal patients and the concerns of the owner of the animals. In the end their work was nothing short of incredible. When we picked her up she had almost no sign of the foam on her, no injuries and was incredibly anxious to get about her business of being a uromastyx. We cannot thank Brook-Falls staff from receptionists to tech to Dr. You have earned a patient for life and we plan to bring our Leopard Gecko and Uromastyx on a regular basis for their on going care. She was hand-raised, my best buddy & almost 18 yrs old. She had a few health problems through the years but with Dr Bloss' advice and aid, I got her over them all. She never minded her vet visits since Dr Bloss was so empathetic and gentle with her.-but in the end Princesse had a tumor.. I have been bringing my rats to Dr. Barajas for a few months now, basically since I got them on a whim but they very quickly worked their way into my heart and I can't imagine life without them now. I was recommended from my sister who found BFV after getting a pet rabbit. I cannot recommend them enough, it is so hard to find GOOD QUALITY care for small animals, and my rats are my children, and I'll be the first to admit that I may be a little neurotic with them, but the staff at BFV never makes me feel anything but like my pets matter. They battled some upper respiratory issues this summer into fall and are all doing WONDERFUL now. Dr.Barajas is always so knowledgeable and explains everything in detail so I know I am making the best decision for my girls. They are staying in the Pet Resort in January when we go out of town, and I feel super confident that they will be in the best hands vs me having someone feed them at home. The prices are definitely higher than other vets I have gone to for my cats and dog, but I feel it is completely worth it for small animals to get this fantastic care, given their shorter lifespans to make them the best they can possibly have (:

It is hard for me to describe my appreciation of Brook-falls Veterinary Hospital. The saying "When the going gets tough, the tough get going " describes my interaction with Brook-falls. They are remarkable in providing care, not just to prolong life but to give them the best quality of life. They are open and educated on the care they give, especially with the small animals (rabbits/guinea pigs in my case) as they come with a completely different biology. Small animal care is growing and changing as more is learned about these creatures. They are moving from short-lived, often ignored beginner pets to family pets and members. She ruptured a ligament in her knee so now we're off to an orthopedic but she couldn't have received better care for our initial visit. Giving this place 5 stars because I’m not trying to mess with their ratings, but was so disappointed that they would not provide me even with a range of costs- not even a wide window that I wouldn’t hold them to!- of what a rat neuter might cost. I was told I would only get an estimate if I paid $72 for the initial visit. Hard to determine if that visit would be wasted depending on what their range is. Even if it’s a hugely varied one! Any sense would be helpful. I guess they’re used to working with people in the Menomonee Falls area who don’t have income limits perhaps?

Ultimate Care and Friendly environment! Excellent place for Sugar Gliders and other pets! I was having a hard time finding a vet that would neuter Sugar Gliders. I found 3 vets that did, one place had only a 3.5 star review and the other place was in chicago, and Brook Falls was the other choice. Brook-Falls had a much better review and was just as close as the other places were fairly close. I'm so glad I chose Brook-Falls! From the moment I seen the building it looks like it's a professional establishment. I brought my Glider, Mungo in and was greeted with very friendly receptionists, and waiting to get called in by the nurse. I had to first bring Mungo in for a wellness exam to see if he's healthy and fit to even do neutering, and brought my female in as well to get checked out. Everything went great. I had the pleasure of getting Dr. Bloss as my vet. She was very informative and friendly with my gliders as if they were her own and trimmed the nails for both my pets without charging me. She gave me a pamphlet all about sugar gliders and went through everything with me as well. They had 2 other vets that did neutering of sugar gliders, but I picked her to do the surgery, because definitely knew what she was doing. On the day of neutering, I had to bring Mungo in at 7:30 to drop off and I came and picked up Mungo at 3pm. They gave me a number I could text to get updates during the operation at any time which I thought was very awesome to have. I didn't use it, but it was nice to just have an option to do so. I got Mungo back and they have me pain meds for him to take for the next couple days, but Mungo healed up very nicely and I'm so a happy that I had it done at Brook-Falls. Another Great thing was the price wasn't crazy high, and wasn't super cheap but it was definitely reasonable and to get the care and service I got, I'm more than happy to pay. They even gave me a follow up call just to see how Mungo was doing. So if you want some great care for your animals you love, bring them to Brook-Falls! They got him in right away, figured out what was wrong, and made him as comfortable as they could. Then, they were able to fit him in the very next day to remove the bad teeth. My girls will NEVER go anywhere else. Pros: Friendly, **extremely** knowledgeable staff, clean facility, very thorough, information packets are given, always a tech in the room when pets need to be handled for the vet Cons: Cost, and location (for anyone not already in Menomonee Falls >.>) Yesterday was our first time at Brook-Falls. The facility is HUGE, beautiful, and extremely clean. Staff were amazing. There was none of that fake overly kind attitude, they really appear to love their jobs and be great with the animals they work with. As soon as we got into a room, which didn't take more than 5 minutes after we got there, the tech let my girls just run around on the floor. This is the first time this has ever happened. Any other times I have taken any of my pets to the vet, I have been expected to maneuver them in and out and in and out for various testing/exams. What an amazing, different experience! My girls (3 ferrets) saw Dr. Miller. They were given the most thorough exam I've seen them get, and the oldest is 4-5 years old and has had an exam every year for at least the past 4. After the exams, each of my girls got a treat of Ferretlax/Ferretone, which is the first time that's happened, as well, unless I take it with me to other vets. The tech stayed and handled each girl as necessary for exams/testing/etc. The doc brought in a ferret care guide... I rolled my eyes at first, since we've had ferrets for over 6 years, but she told me that the clinic wrote it all and to check it out. While I was waiting for one of the tests, I fingered through it. Some of it was basic, but there was a lot of information about common and uncommon ferret illnesses. Awesome! We were there a total of 2 hours. Each girl got an exam, they did some testing on a fecal sample, a biopsy of a mass, dx'd adrenal disease, gave a shot, gave antibiotics, did nail trims... VERY THOROUGH. Though the cost is much higher than the vet we were going to previously, who would've charged only one office fee instead of 3... well, they probably would have done 1/8 the job that Brook-Falls did. Thank you for taking such good care of my girls!

We live trapped an abandoned kitten and had her first care at another vet. Later that week, Bella took an unexpected turn out of the blue and we came to Brook Falls for emergent care. We were given a fatal diagnosis and the staff and doctor were so kind and apologetic. We opted to make Bella comfortable to pass at home. She was likely already terminal and thus abandoned for that reason, but she was surrounded by love and gentle care in the week that we had her. I will use this vet again in the future if we adopt another rescue down the road.

Had an appointment for my African Grey with Dr. Ford. He was very knowledgeable and gave me great tips on diet, general care and how to have a more social parrot. I would definitely recommend him if you are a bird owner. On top of that his assistants and employees were very friendly as well.

Our first time taking one of our birds in for a check up and for some concerns, they were wonderful with him! Pineapple is a small Green Cheek Conure with tiny nares, and the vet, Dr. Jennifer Bloss, was able to pick out a bunch of gunk that was blocking his breathing. She is up front about costs of tests, x-rays, meds, and rechecks. Birds are expensive, and their health Care is attrociously pricey, but this place is worth it. They were able to reassure me about what Pineapple was going through, did what she could to keep him calm, and she and her assistant were able to clip his scary nails without and blood!! Dr. Bloss knows avian care, and finding a clinic that had this knowledge is very difficult. This place came highly recommended by a vet clinic who lost their avian vet and an avian vet who worked their in the past. With those types of recommendations, we couldn't pass it up. She gave us so much info for helping our birds that I walked out with more ACCURATE knowledge than what I have learned online and from books that should NOT be on the shelves. I am more confident in what I can do for my babies than before I walked in there. The clinic is beautiful with plenty of space to walk your 🐕 and let him/her calm down and relieve themself. The rooms are wonderful and comfortable to allow a small family to be their for their furry, feathery, or scaley friend. Each person there of course has their own pets, some incredibly unique! I used to go to a PetWorld for nail trimmings, but we have had some scary times there. This clinic is WAY BETTER! If something goes wrong, they can care for the issue. At pet stores that do nails and wings, you sign a waiver that they are not responsible for your bird even though you're paying them for a service they claim to be able to do! If you are looking for an avian vet or so done who has worked with birds for 30 years,this is where to go!

We have had numerous experiences with Brookfalls. Our path together started a bit backward with them helping us through illness and death of our cat of 21 years to more recent care of a new kitten. Dr. Follett was compassionate and conservative. Her demeanor and caring were above and beyond during a difficult decision making process. Dr. Wittenberg has been patient and understanding while dealing with our many questions during our new kitten’s post op complications. She and Dr. Bloss consulted together to come up with a conservative and successful treatment plan to avoid further surgery. The teamwork of all the clinicians working together to form the best plan was top notch. The vet techs and front desk staff are very pleasant and go out of their way to help answer any questions. Highly recommend if you want a vet clinic that truely cares about pet outcome and not doing unnecessary things. They are also very forward thinking and offer treatments like laser therapy to aid healing.

New to the area and looking for a new vet. I stopped in today (a crazy busy Saturday) to check them out. I figured they would be busy but this is a test to see if they would turn me away. Not onky did they make time for me, but they went out of their way to show ne around and I never felt like I was bothering them. The place is immaculate. They have the latest tech, an operating suite believe it or not, and a computerized x-ray room, and the staff is super friendly. Despite the full room of patients there was very little wait time. The expert on sugar gliders went out of her way to say hello and my dog, who is an excellent judge of character, was not afraid and loved everyone. More than I had hoped for. Thank you!

I noticed something was wrong with our ferret yesterday and he needed immediate treatment. They didn't hesitate to get him in. Unfortunately he had very few options, so with the help of the Taylor and Dr. Mueller, the transition of peacefully crossing Packer over to the rainbow bridge was heartfelt and appreciated. My family was able to come in and say good bye and they let me hold him until he took his last breath. They got paw prints and even wrapped him up cozy with flowers so we could take him home. This was our families first time losing a fur baby, so it has not been easy for us, but I want to thank Taylor and Dr. Mueller for everything. I couldn't have gone through that without you. I cannot say enough about this practice; they just excel at everything they do. From the minute you walk in the door with your beloved pet, you and your pet are treated like part of the family. My guinea pig recently had surgery. Throughout the surgery, and recovery I was kept informed about my guinea pig's progress and condition. I also was able to call a special phone number to speak with the veterinary technician who was taking care of my guinea pig that day. My guinea pig's surgery was more complex, and the recovery was more difficult due to being under anesthesia for a longer period of time. However Dr. Follett and her team got my guinea pig through surgery, and insured that she was kept comfortable while she was recovering by not only keeping her pain free, but offering a small teddy bear to lean on, and reassurance from the tech, and other staff. One of my worst fears is that my beloved guinea pig would be all alone in a cage without a comforting presence. That doesn't happen at Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital and Exotic Care. Dr. Follett is very knowlagable, and shares her expertise with her clients, often taking time to educate, and address concerns with her clients, in a respectful professional way, without the client feeling rushed. Having exotic pets (Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, etc.) are becoming more popular. Given this the need for a trustworthy, knowlagable exotic veterinary practice is often hard (if not impossible) to find. Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital and Exotic Care is an asset to the community they serve, especially those clients who have exotic pets. I firmly believe that Brook-Falls Veterinary Hospital and Exotic Care, is the top veterinary practices in the state of Wisconsin; they just excel at everything they do!
