I brought my elder golden in as an emergency visit, they made time for us! The staff were all very kind and compassionate. They gave my girl a cozy comforter to lay on during her exam, they made her feel comfortable and safe. Dr George was gentle and thorough, he has amazing bedside manner. Her took blood with ease, she didn't even flinch. They are by far the best clinic I have ever been to. If I could give 10 stars, I would!

I have sadly moved away from the New England area but cannot say enough lovely things about this clinic. I have a rescue dog that is terrified of the vets and we were consistently met with understanding, welcoming, and lovely people here. Their prices were always fair and always listened to any concerns we have had. Since I have moved away from the area I am really understanding just how outstanding this practice is. Even when I lived farther away I would drive nearly two hours just to bring my pups here.

This vet doesn't give you the shake down for extra money, like some other places do. They are there for your animal consistently. This makes for great communication with you and everyone there. Worth the drive out there and every penny.

I am convinced this is the best vet in the world. The veterinarians (I've worked with Dr. Robin, Dr. George, and Dr. Brittany) are truly the kindest, most caring vets I've ever met in my/ my dog's life. The rest of the staff is always lovely as well. I have brought my GSD here for years and now bring my lab as well, travelling an hour to do so. The service and care is unmatched. I have called (on many occasions) on off hours and the doctors are ALWAYS understanding, helpful, and willing to see my dog right away. My GSD has been kept for fluids and I would never trust anyone except these vets to keep him overnight. Cannot recommend this practice enough!!

Dr. George saved our 13 year old Lab and charged less than #X what the emergency clinic quoted. I get emergency practices need to charge more, but 3.5 times seems a bit extreme. Thank you Deerfield for being an amazing and CARING practice, where animals come first.

Highly recommend! DVC was recommended to me for a pre-purchase exam, and I can see why. Such wonderful, kind, caring individuals. Dr. George, the vet tech, and office personnel all amazing! Even little Thor the truck dog comforted me when I felt like I was going to pass out (ah, nerves). They found a misdiagnosis from my prior vet, had all the equipment to evaluate him onsite, and were super empathetic and resourceful throughout his final months. I've only been going to DVC for about 3 months, as our main home is now in Deerfield. Due to my cats skin condition we have been to 5+ vets over the last 7 years and I can definitely say that Dr. Worobey and all of the other staff at DVC are AMAZING. I was a bit frustrated at my appointment today, but on the way home I realized that it was not them, it was that I should have planned better for my product launch. If you want to make sure your pet gets the best care possible from people that actually care, give DVC a try. You won't be disappointed! Deerfield Vet is the best option for pets and owners alike. The staff are professional, friendly knowledgeable and caring. Dr Brittany and Dr George have been wonderful with our dogs and our special needs child. Dr George helped our dog with intestinal issues find a balance of treatment to help him heal and now thrive and finally get to a normal weight! He helped keep us calm about the situation as well. Dr George also did a knee surgery on our other puppy who healed beautifully and now runs around happily. He is an exceptional and always answers any questions we have thoroughly. The office staff is very organized and helpful. We are thankful to be a client of this unparalleled facility.

The staff were amazing and receptive during a sudden illness with our pet pig. The on call was calm and gave us enough information to get her through the night. The next day I had to bring Semper in and the Vet, techs and reception were warm and Semper was left in good hands. They returned calls and checked in during and after discharge.

Deerfield Vet Clinic checks all the boxes, and I am openly a tough critic. I heard of them through a colleague and decided to start bringing my faithful companion here as she approached her elder years. In her final days, she was treated with such great care from everyone there. On what is arguably the hardest thing to do, the professionals at Deerfield clinic made it easy. They saved our dogs life when everywhere else was saying there's nothing they can do but put him down. Deerfield vet wasted no time and got right to work, they found out he had a neurlogical disorder. I don't know if he would still be alive if it wasn't for them. They are also are vets for our horses, goats, cats, and other dog.

They are the best vet in New Hampshire, hands down. They care so much about the wellbeing of your pet and will do anything that they can to make sure your animal is happy and healthy! I live in Manchester, and am more than happy to take the 20 minute drive, to Deerfield Veterinary. The staff are all very nice, kind caring and compassionate. My dogs have seen both Dr George and Dr Brittany. They are both extremely knowledgeable and I feel very comfortable with all of their assessments for my dogs. The don't make you feel stressed or like a number, which a lot of other vets have made me feel. The pricing, for the quality of care that your pets receive, is outstanding. They don't have you waste money on rediculous and unnecessary testing, as I've experienced in the past at a ton of vets as well. The office itself is modern, clean and cutting edge. It doesn't even have that pet smell, that usually hits you in the face, when you walk through the vet office door. It feels very homey. I am the owner of 6 dogs. I am so HAPPY I found this place. It's been nothing but a fantastic experience, from the day I walked through the Door! Highly recommend!

I am a fairly new client to Deerfield Veterinary Clinic. My nearly 17 year old cat was very, very ill and I was in need of an appointment immediately. They fit me in right away. After some testing we decided to try a treatment plan and reevaluate in a few days. It was clear after that time that she was not going to improve and I was faced with the decision of whether or not to euthanize. Dr. George and his staff were incredibly compassionate as I hemmed and hawed over the decision. Ultimately I came to the decision that it was time to let her go. I was given privacy in a beautiful and comfortable room so that myself and my daughters could say our goodbyes. I really appreciated that I didn't have to wait in the waiting room before the procedure, as I was understandably quite emotional. My daughters opted to go wait in their beautiful children's area of the waiting room during the procedure. Again, Dr George and his assistant were wonderful and caring and gentle. I was again given privacy to say final goodbyes. They gave my children a book about pet loss. I cannot stress enough how beautiful our experience was there, during the most horrible time. I will be a loyal client to Deerfield Vet from now on for my other animals, without a doubt.

The best! I've always said, my own doc doesn't even treat me as good lol. They genuinely love animals and that shows in the level of care they give your pet. They really take the time to listen to all of your concerns and thoroughly examine everything. The online pet portal is a nice feature as well as email communications about office closures, safety tips etc. I believe their prices are fair and have never felt rushed or pressured to purchase anything. They are truly everything you'd want in a vet and more.

Deerfield Vet is a long drive....BUT, I wouldn't go anywhere else! Everyone there is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They don't pressure you to buy anything, or have extra tests done. The prices are much better than any other place. I highly recommend them. They are worth the drive...complimentary nail clipping too!

My 6 month old puppy had a baby tooth that was stubbornly refusing to vacate the premises. Dr. George was patient and like magic the tooth came out (unfortunately the Doc had to endure being scratched and peed on). Dr. Kim called me to explain the normal development of a husky puppy. They care so much about our pet's. To them it's not just about the money. It's about so much more they just want to make sure that your animals are happy and healthy. On Tuesday of this week I brought in a stray cat that I have been feeding for about 7 month's they are my vet for my other cat's they did all the tests they could they gave him a complete and I mean complete physical. What I especially appreciate about this veterinary practice is they are available 24/7 & when I've called with an emergency the on call doctor actually answers the phone. The office staff is attentive & understanding. I find them to be compassionate & caring. When my horse is sick or injured, they always follow up in a few days after the visit. Good, honest care for my four legged friend. Very happy with the doctors, techs & office staff.

I find it hard to believe anyone would have a poor experience at Deerfield Vet. Although I know not everyone can be pleased, I have been overly! I already had an equine vet that only does livestock before I met the veterinarians at Deerfield or I would use them for my horses as well. I am fortunate to have found them for the care of my dog, Buddy. I live in Manchester & there's tons of vets much closer to my home but my dog needed something more than we were getting. We had gone to another vet nearby to begin treating Buddy for heartworm. He was going though painful immeticide treatments & we were left clueless as to how he would be or how to make him feel better or at least more comfortable... I couldn't call this other vet because they didn't have an after hours doctor on call. A friend told me to call Deerfield and that they would help advise me even if my dog wasn't their patient. I called and Dr. Kim was kind and helpful. She helped me get my dog more relaxed and able to sleep. The following morning I switched everything over to Deerfield and haven't looked back! I'm very grateful for them and they are amazing at updating me on my dog throughout the day if he stays. Highly recommend the whole facility!

I've been going here ever sense I had dogs. Granted seems to be when bad things happen to one of them. Saturday I brought my dog Bo in cause he wasn't feeling well and Dr. George and his team kept him there trying to help with surgery and blood transfusion but his little heart became to weak and he passed away... But we did everything in our power to try and save him but that didn't work for us... We drive an hour just to bring my dogs here and when I have to leave them I know they are in the best of hands! Thanks for trying to save my boy!!

We have been bringing our pets here for years. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Their prices are very fair and the hours are extremely flexible, with evenings, weekends, and home visits available. Throughout the years, we've had various issues come up with our cats and dog. The veterinarians don't hesitate to get on the phone and talk through possible solutions and give advice. Dr. George saved our dog's life when she poisoned herself eating plant fertilizer, and saved our cat when he chewed a cord in the middle of the night and electrocuted himself. They are always willing to squeeze us in for an appointment when an issue pops up out of the blue. Truly the best clinic, with everything you'd want - including a play room for kids to hang out while at appointments!

My suggestion to anyone is good review or bad review you should really go and experience Deerfield Vet Clinic yourself and make your own opinion. You never know you might like what another person doesn't and most if all your pet may love the staff. Keep an open mind.

Good vets pleasant staff but the fees are high and when we asked for an estimate they only told us the cost of a single procedure (neutering) and did not bother to include all the incidental fees for tests. The initial estimate was $200.00 for the neutering but with tests and anesthesia it came to a total of about $300. This does not include the cost of boarding which was an additional$50. In short if you go there make sure you all ask about all fees unless you are made of money in which case fees don't matter.

Dr.George and Jeni have been seening my bulldogs since they were both at Wadleigh Falls. I was really a no brainer when they opened Deerfield i was going to stay with them. Well I'm a disabled war veteran with PTSD & my pets are very important when it comes to my mental & emotional health. Every vet, tech & staff has been friendly, knowledgeable, sensative & caring at Deerfield Vet clinic. Dr G is amazing with great bedside manner! I had to put a dog & cat down recently & the ENTIRE staff was extremely caring & sensitive to me & my kids needs & feelings at those times. We were given a Private, comfortable & clean room to say goodbye to your pet/family member & we were given all the time we needed to do so. They sent me heart warming cards after my loss aswell which was much appreciated. They also offer a very helpful discount to veterans, which most places dont. They take you right in if it's an emergency too. They love funny pet stories too :) so in my opinion this is the best place for you & your pet or pets. I will be a client as long as I have pets & live close.

My 6 month old Am Bully chewed on a electrical cord and got zapped..called the emergency on call doc and she was extremely helpful determining if I needed to bring him in to be seen.. The girls at the desk did the best at squeezing him in the next day to be checked out..(clean bill of health except a burn on his lip) So happy that neighbor recommended Deerfield..

A few years ago my husband and I were in Camden, Maine, when our Yorkie Phoebe became very ill late at night. The closest late-night clinic was in Bangor. When I called the vet we used back home, all I got was a recording saying to go to the nearest emergency clinic. That would have meant a long drive to Bangor, and we were desperate for an immediate professional opinion. Having heard that Deerfield Vet Clinic had someone on call 24/7, I telephoned and received helpful advice and encouragement. We drove home early the next morning, and Dr. George saw her, came up with a diagnosis, and treated her. That was the turning point. We switched to DVC and during the ensuing years continued to be amazed at the dedication and skill of the entire staff. They really care, and they really love animals and their people. When our beloved but elderly Phoebe died a few months ago, once again Dr. George and Practice Manager Jenni George showered her-- and us -- with TLC. I can't recommend DVC highly enough. My husband and I are not yet ready for another Yorkie, but when the time comes for a new puppy, she'll be a cradle-to-grave client of DVC!

My normal vet for my "normal" animals is in Brentwood. But they don't see farm animals. Now I have goats and a mini pig and was looking for a " farm vet". Well boy did I find a great one. They came highly recommended when I asked on Facebook and they were amazing with my baby pig today when he went in to be neutered. He's a bit shy but they were very kind to him and won him over with cheezits (That's ok with me) instead of scaring him and forcing him to comply. He was still happy at pickup. I had heard horror stories of pigs at the vet where they came home with bruises like they were beaten and was almost scared to bring him to a vet at all, but my farm animals and I will be a customer there for years to come.

I love this place, they are a bit out of the way BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT! Friendly staff, wicked clean, they accept pet insurance, and will work with you. My dog also loves going there, he’s relaxed going there, while there, and in the way home, it’s like a treat for him.
