Dr.A is the best and his staff was very helpful. I am writing this review a year later after loosing my BF onyx. They have so much compassion and we great to work with. They made sure onyx was comfortable and gave him the best care possible. So blessed to have found them and are great with senior dogs. Onyx lived till 14 and i believe it was in part to the care Sandy Hill. They were also helpful in setting up a payment plan as I was out of work at the time. I highly recommend seeing Dr.A and his team and Barb in the front.

Dr. Anast is the BEST vet in town. I trust him so much, he is very knowledgeable and kind. His staff is always very friendly too. I truly cannot recommend a better vet. He is so gentle with my dog and patient with me when I’m being a crazy dog mom, he’s super understanding. I absolutely recommend Sandy Hill animal clinic! They’re the best!

This place absolutely lives up to the good reviews. I'm lucky enough to live near this place, but I understand why people drive across town to go here. The staff is very friendly. The doctors are so nice. It's usually not a long wait for anything. I never have a problem getting my dog's prescription refilled when he needs it. I've been going here for several years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. 6 stars! 👏

Dr Anast is not only a great vet but a amazing human being, he has helped me with both my dogs, he actual loves helping our dogs and also puts us pet parents at ease. He is the most reasonable vet around Vegas just amazing person and doesn’t over charge people for things they don’t need. A real vet. Top quality animal care and expert staff. They may still offer health care plans for your pet. My friend has been taking all his fur babies there for decades. I was there because he was not up to driving. They were friendly and gave his dog immediate attention upon arrival.

I was referred to Dr Anast by a friend that raved about him. After the craptastic care we got from a different money hungry vet, I called and begged for them to take my puppy. Got in a few days later, and I was stunned at how great the office staff was. When Dr Anast came in, my puppy went right up to him, and to the back with zero reservations. The staff here is fantastic. While my visits here have not been "good," the staff is patient, kind, and responsive. I've been to vets that have been slow to talk to you, don't pay attention, and don't respond when you ask them questions. I can't recommend this vet enough, both Veterinarians are helpful and straightforward.

I was happy with the service but not the price. Twice there have been fees that were unexpected or were explained wrong. I thought the first time was a fluke, then it happened again. I asked to get a copy of the bill before the last proceedure was done so I could decide if it was something I could afford. I didn't see the bill until after the proceedure and the price was $100 more than expected. My question is, are they honest about what is being charged or was this miscommunication, twice?

I moved out here from WA and had a wellness plan at Banfield for my dogs but I had bad service at all Banfield locations out here so I no longer use Banfield. Sandy Hill Animal Clinic is by far the friendliest and had extremely affordable prices. My visit was and emergency visit. Other place wanted $271 and up for xrays. New patient + xray (free cd copy) + 2 medications for my dog under $300 Thank you Dr. Benette

I could cry with happiness while I state that finally my kitties have a doctor that is not only knowledgeable but truly wants them to get better above money. I've been robbed for years for HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars from vet clinics who dont even find a solution to the problem. He helped my disabled kitten be able to have a better quality of life. Banfield robbed me, LA vets robbed me, Pebble Animal Hospital robbed me! This wonderful clinic restored my faith in animal clinics. I'll never take them anywhere else! Literally I could live in New York and would fly back once a year if need be to remain at this clinic. Thank you guys for caring for my little girls. For someone who cant have children, they are my babies. Keep rocking on!

Amazing experience! After going around in circles and circles with several other Vets for the past 2 years, Dr. Anast almost immediately spotted the issue with our pug and confirmed it through some quick blood work. I have taken three dogs and one cat to Dr. George Anast at Sandy Hill Animal Hospital. Two of the dogs and the cat were elderly. His treatment of the older dogs and cat combined with the treatment by his staff of our pets, we were walking at times, was outstanding. Dr. Anast also helped my wife and me through the issue of putting our older pets down when it was time. He and his staff showed much compassion and sensitivity. Dr. Anast also takes in strays, treats them, and then attempts to place them. Having seen some of those animals at his office, I can attest to his love for all animals. BEST VET IN TOWN!!! Dr. Anast and his staff are the absolute best! My family has brought there dogs here for many years, I recently got a new puppy of my own and brought her here. We drive from the North West to come here and are HAPPY to do it. They take such great care of your fur babies. Dr. Anast saw my puppy for a new puppy check, noticed that the breeder did give her the first set of shots but informed me that they were shots that could be bought at a feed store and administered themselves, he said I would like to give her the good stuff so that we make sure she's protected, there won't be any charge for that, I just want to do it. On a Saturday morning we thought she may have an infection, so we called and even though they were busy told us to head down and they would see us. They are beyond amazing, and I cannot imagine taking my baby to anyone else! If you are looking for a vet, look no further, you won't regret coming to Sandy Hill. Thank you Dr. Anast and staff, we appreciate you guys!!!!

TL;DR: very happy pitbull owner who will always bring my dogs, current and future, to see Dr. Anast and Dr. Henault. I've had my dogs for 12 years. They're "putbulls" and don't like other dogs (they love other people, but are suspicious of people who are afraid of them). Because of stereotypes of "breeds" and vet's fears, it's been hard to find a vet who stays at one location AND doesn't treat my dogs as vicious. My pups have seen both Dr. Anast and Dr. Henault and I hold the highest regard for both doctors. The front office staff always have our room ready so we don't cause any commotion in the waiting area, and they're always friendly and fast. Even when they're busy, they've offered to call us when they're ready and there's no judgment in their voices when I tell them my dogs dont like other dogs. Dr. Anast has seen my boy and accurately diagnosed his lipoma without bloody and invasive biopsies (as other vets had) and clearly and concisely explained what it was and what the plan of action was (leave it alone because it will just grow back and the ony reason to remove it is because he'll look better). He also removed a foxtail from his paw. He is gentle and patient with my 90-lber, even when my boy doesn't want to go with him. After seeing other vets too-aggressively handle my dog, I am absolutely at ease leaving my dogs there. Dr. Henault did surgery on my girl's leg to remove as much of a tumor as he could and had it biopsied after (the tumor was inhibiting her mobility). Our most recent visit was due to the tumor coming back (we knew it would), but as always, Dr. Henault explained all options and made his suggestion on the best course of action for her. He gave her a quick check-up to ensure everything was good and didn't even charge us for the visit and consultation. He has never rushed us and has always answered all of our questions. Prices have always been fair, their expertise is invaluable. I wish I had found this vet office sooner!

His sense of humor, his kindness, caring and love of animals is unmatched. When we left we had 7 Yorkies he took care of, 3 of which he delivered, and we are down to 3. This is the best vet I've found in the 20 years I've been here.Dr Annis cares about the animals. He loves animals,it's not all about the money. I took my bulldog to a vet since she was 10 mo old till she was a little more than a year. It was an emergency and my friend said take her to my vet because mine was closed so I did. Dr Annis came in and the first words out of his mouth was Nahla has hip displaysia and has had it since she was born. My vet in over a year didn't tell me. They were waiting for her legs to give out and tell me oh she needs a 4-5 thousand dollar surgery to fix it.(which by the way Dr Annis said wouldn't work).He has been treating her ever since. He's is great . I'll never take any of my animals any where else. I love him.

Dr George is the absolute best vet around. He is compassionate, professional and while this has been a pet peeve with us with other vets, he is always punctual for appointments. My cat who was only 5 y/o had to be rushed to the Dr where we found he had an embolism. The Dr and staff were very sweet and compassionate about the fact he needed to be put down. They handled all the cremation process and the price was extremely fair. The Dr also does special rates for service animals

Best veterinarian, he his extremely honest and even at time will not even charge you for his service. We have a Doberman that we took to him at 8 weeks old and still go there. We wanted to have her hears cropped and he said that he could do it but that he could refer us to a colleague that could do a better work and for that I give him a 10 for honesty and always great service. It isn't hard to find good animal care in Las Vegas. It's hard to throw a stick and hit a vet's office. A couple things make Sandy Hill different. Even though it's always busy when you walk in the front office staff is immediately attentive to you and gets to almost before your in the door. They're always pleasant and respectful. The second reason is Dr. George. He's just a plain nice guy who treats the owners with the same care and respect he treats the animals. Not to be flippant but Dr. George has so many years of experience he knows what he's dealing because he's seen it so many times before. That comforting in my book. Second he doesn't play the same games a lot of big corporate vet practices play which is upsell anything and everything you possibly can. Dr. George will never tell you your pet needs something it doesn't. There are many choices in Vegas for pet care and we continue to choose Dr. George and his staff for good reason.

I was recommended to see George by my in-laws who have been seeing him for quite some time.. We had rescued an older cat that had quite a few complications and George did his very best to help our old man have a happy life. They are fantastic! Place is clean and well run, Dr. Bennett is kind and knowledgeable. I took my older dog George in because he was 'off his feed' and Dr. Bennett ran tests and gave my big red dog a clean bill of health. I mentioned I think he is lonely and they had a stray that needed a home. George and Mabel hit it off. Took Mabel home and she immediately fit in. Came in with one sad dog, came out with two happy dogs and a full heart.

My dog was attacked by a vicious pitbull and they took care of him for nearly 2 weeks and nurtured him back to health. I was referred to this place by a friend. I didn’t have an appt. and walked in within 30 minutes of closing (my bad), but the vet and the receptionist were accommodating and got me into see the Vet I requested. There is more than one veterinarian at this office. The vet I went to was honest about a cyst on my dog’s paw and couldn’t advised me to go forward with extraction at a high cost, but he recommended not to spend the money since it was benign and didn’t seem to hurt my dog. I appreciate the honest treatment and to know they were not trying to just recommend services for the sake of making a sale.

Wonderful and caring Vet! Not 5 stars because they took care of at least 1 walk in that showed up 10 minutes after us and we were worried about our dog whereas the other one was just there for vaccine. I did hear the guy say he's a walk-in & just lives down the street. Waited 30+ minutes in the waiting room, not counting wait at lobby. We had 5 minutes of conversation with the vet after waiting and was charged 100. Still he was very nice, the positive in our visit.

Dr. George is amazing. We took our Frenchie to Sandy Hill because of their affordable x-ray cost compared to every other place we called. Our dog needed xrays to find out why she was in pain and yelping. Dr. George was very nice and caring and didn't just care about making money and running unnecessary tests. He quickly informed us of possibilities for our particular breed, and did the xray. I spent the same amount of money at Sandy Hill for xrays, an injection that helped our dog's arthritis, and an exam that I paid the day before at another vet who told me I needed xrays, blood work, ekg, and a list of meds but couldn't find out what was wrong with her upon exam and gave her a shot that didn't help and meds for something totally different (and only did an exam). I was amazed with his compassion and overall how nice and caring he was. Although this place is far for me I will definitely be returning. Amazing care and super affordable cost.

About 6 months ago one of my dogs got attacked by another dog..it was late so i took her to the emergency vet..they wanted almost $2000 to fix her..as most people i dont have that kind of money. so i told them that and they said "well in order for us to keep her and fix her it has to be paid in full." then after me crying for 10-15 mins the lady says we will take $500 now..well i didnt have that either at the time. so they give her a pain shot and tell me to take her home and in the morning just take her to my reg vet. at the time i didnt have one. so i took her home and PRAYED that she would make it thru the night. she did!! i take her to Dr. Anst 1st thing the next morning..after looking at her for 1 sec he takes her to the back...i explain to him that i really dont have that much $ right now and he says " dont worry about it we'll figure something out." i am so VERY grateful for him and his whole staff for saving my babies life. After about a week and half their at the vets she came home alive and well. Dr Anst is letting me make payments and gave me a discount. They definitely care about your pets as their own.
