I just want to say a public thank you to Dr. Knickerbocker for the special care and attention she has shown our kitty. After our kitty was diagnosed with diabetes, and a growth was found on her tummy, Dr. Knickerbocker has provided us with all the tools and information needed to give our kitty the best possible care. She has followed up with us daily since our last appointment - even when we were working and couldn’t find the time to call, she called us before closing time to make sure our kitty was doing okay. This kind of care and attention to detail is truly rare. Having a doctor who gives honest and accurate information, and who shows genuine care towards our kitty has been such a relief. Thank you for the effort in helping us take care of our girl!! Aloha in general is a wonderful facility with a friendly and organized staff. They helped us last year when our other kitty had a urinary obstruction. He stayed with them for a few days until he was better and he hasn't had any issues since. Can’t thank you guys enough.

I am so incredibly grateful to Aloha Animal Hospital! You are the absolute best and truly care for the pets that come in! Thanks to the staff, my little girl Precious is no longer terrified of the vet. They are very patient with her and make sure they don't stress her out. She had a very bad experience at Rainbow Animal Hospital in 2021 when I wasn't allowed to go in with her. She hated me for several days and was petrified the first time I took her to Aloha which broke my heart. The staff knows how to approach and help animals that have had bad vet experiences. They also give you as much information as they can when your fur baby has an issue. They make sure to tell you all of the possible options for treatment and don't force a specific one. They let you choose and tell you what each step after will be if the option you chose doesn't work (as every pet is different so certain things won't work for every pet). Aloha is the place to bring your fur babies. They truly care and will do their best to help find out whats wrong with your pet and help them get well! Thank you again for helping my girl realize not all vets are bad and for helping her get better!

We love Dr. Nieves at Aloha Animal Hospital! He is so caring with my pup Chloe Bowie. She had to have an emergency operation & it was a success! He even called a couple of times after her surgery just to check in on her. The entire office staff & nurses are great too! Even Dr. Beckes was real caring over the phone to go over my pup’s biopsy results while Dr. Nieves was out of the office. I will bring in both my pups here from now on. I used to take Chloe here before till we moved in 2019. And Dr. Jaime was excellent (who is the owner). But it’s worth the little drive. I highly recommend this veterinarian office! Dr. Nieves is truly outstanding and passionate about his patients ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Came to this Vet because our old vet got rid of weekends. My 2 corgis ( 1 year old male and 4 month old female at the time) were well received, both vets took the time on their initial visits to really examine them and listen to my questions. When it was time for my little girl's spay they kept me informed. The staff is friendly, the building clean. I was impressed by their "intake" at check in. ✔️ Very organized. I think we've found our vet. We also found out another Corgi friend comes too, they said nothing but good things also. ❤️

Absolutely amazing hospital. Took my little Guinea Pig Larry there on an emergency due to him going into shock from a possible infection and they saw him right away. I was on the verge of losing Larry but the wonderful doctors there nursed him back to life. I was called with updates throughout the day and even late evenings. Thank you to Dr. Jason, Dr, Jaime and Dr. Knickerbocker! You guys are the best!

I found Aloha after having a terrible experience at another office. All of the staff at Aloha is so kind and helpful...and Dr Beckes is great! My tortoises were bitten by my dog while we were on vacation. The other vet told me they would both die, but i could try to revive them at home. Well, we have nursed them back to life and they are healthy little tortoises! I just left them at the office and she will be sedating them and doing a shell repair over the next couple days so we can get them back out in their habitat. Definitely recommend Dr Beckes and her awesome staff!

Outstanding vet! Brought my baby Butters here for the first time after having less than great experiences at his previous vet. All of the staff was lovely and gentle with my boy, the office is clean, and Dr. Suh took excellent care to explain things well and provide a low stress visit for him. I had a Vet refused to care of my Rottie anymore so I took her to Aloha. Dr Jamie was so kind and gentle with my dog so I instantly decided she was my new. Vet. After my Rottie passed I brought my new rescued Pittie to Dr Jamie. She sat on the floor to meet him and he fell in love instantly. She has been my Vet for 7 years and always will be. Best vet ever.

Nikko enjoyed her visit to the vet with Dr. Anne Beckes! Dr. Beckes was so kind towards Nikko, she went into depth with how to care for Nikko. We confirmed Nikko is a healthy little bird. Nikko had a beak, nail and wing trim. We are pending DNA results to know if Nikko is a girl or boy! I'm overall happy with the visit, Nikko was not very stressed after being handled by Dr. Beckes. When we got home she continued to eat and chirp away. Thank you Dr. Beckes for caring for my little baby Nikko.

Aloha is great! We always schedule with Dr. Knickerbocker, but all of the employees we’ve worked with are super friendly Our dogs don’t like vet trips, of course, but Aloha is very accommodating for them and works to make the visit less stressful We appreciate the reasonable prices, too. Other vets certainly charge more, so we feel we get a great value. Definitely recommend this clinic for all pet parents!

Aloha has taken care of my dog from the time he was a puppy to the moment he passed. This place has top notch vets. There are times that the support staff can be a little shaky, but the new batch they have is solid. I have been going to this place for over 12 years. I had to euthanize my dog that I mentioned earlier that has been going here for his whole existence—and as always they have treated him with the utmost respect to the last moment of his life. We were given the time—all the time—to spend with our dog and pay our respect. There were no inclinations whatsoever that a grieving family had to be rushed out so that they can turn another buck. I appreciate this place for allowing us to have a good last memory of our dog in such a torturous time for my family.

I've been taking my pup to this place for a couple years now and I would recommend it to anyone. I rarely wait more than a couple minutes to get into a room, and the doctors are fast after getting in as well. The staff is friendly and the prices charged are more reasonable than some larger "franchise" vet places. Parking can be busy as the lot is not huge, but it just makes a slightly further walk.

My first time here, usually I go to Durango Animal hospital (dumb never again). From the minute I walked in I was treated very kindly. Unfortunately, my dog ended up with a tumor and we had to let him go. I wouldn't of wanted to go through this anywhere else but Aloha Animal hospital. I took both of my dogs here the other day to get up to date with there shots an all of the staff were really nice. They all really seemed to enjoy there jobs an just love animals. It was my first time going to this vet an I really enjoyed the visit. Plus I love getting to see the other customers animals while I was there. Both of my dogs are healthy an now all up to date with there shots. I really love my dogs so it's my top priority to keep them both as healthy as possible so they can both live a long happy life!! Another thing I really enjoyed was the welcome letter I received in the mail after our visit. It was really nice of them to send.

When I first moved to Las Vegas, I asked the daycare I used for my dog what vet they would recommend. Without hesitation, they told me they recommend Aloha Animal Hospital to all their clients. After doing some research into the clinic, I saw enough good things about Aloha Animal Hospital to choose them over veterinary clinics closer to me. I have been going to Aloha for over 7 years as of the writing of this review, and I can honestly say I'm not only happy with my decision to use them as my beloved dog's vet, but they are also the best veterinary clinic I've ever dealt with. Aloha caters to all types of pets - cats and dogs, of course, but I've also seen birds and reptiles there. The clinic is ALWAYS very clean and well kept, something I cannot say of all veterinary clinics I've used in the past. There are no messes on the floors, no piles of animal hair, and best of all, no overpowering pet odors. I'm allergic to cats and have never had an issue going into or after leaving Aloha because they keep everything so clean. This is greatly appreciated. There is always a full staff of assistants on hand at Aloha and they make checking in, checking out, scheduling, and ordering refills on prescriptions a breeze. They're also quite knowledgeable themselves, as often times they're able to answer questions I have without needing to consult the vets. They're always very helpful and operate extremely professionally. Wait times at Aloha are never very long (unless you're doing a walk-in). I'm always seen within 10 minutes of my scheduled appointment, which is very impressive. There is free wi-fi at the clinic so I can surf my phone while I wait, though the wi-fi can be spotty sometimes (and for some reason I never get a cell signal inside the clinic). I've used all the different veterinary doctors who work at Aloha at one time or another and each one of them has been top notch. They're not only extremely knowledgeable, but they also have a great demeanor with my dogs, and you can tell they really care about the animals they see. They have always done great with exams, bloodwork, diagnosis, and medications. Bottom line is that I trust these people with the well-being of my beloved dogs, and they haven't let me down. Beyond my personal experience, Aloha has received awards and recognition from local Vegas publications for their high standard of pet care. They also offer a wide variety of pet-related foods and products that you can pick up while there. Prescriptions are always filled promptly, and they have great dental specials from January-March that save a ton of money on keeping your pet's mouth clean and healthy. If you're looking for a fantastic vet to entrust the health of your pet to, I can't recommend Aloha Animal Hospital enough. I've always been happy with their service, and I will continue to use them for years to come. It's an excellent clinic with an excellent staff.

My husband and I have been going to Aloha since the year they opened. Dr. Jamie and Dr. Jason are wonderful people. They truly care. I always ask for Dr. Jamie because my dogs know her. She treats them with care and after a visit Dr. Jamie Sulliban calls us to check on our baby Dosha. I recommend Aloha to anyone. The other day I went in to get my dogs meds. and a couple brought in a bird. The gentlemen asked what they owed and they said nothing It's not your bird and thanked them for being a good samaritan. I also thanked them. It really made my day caring so much for a bird that they found injured on their front lawn. And they were willing to pay. It has been a while since I have really enjoyed bringing my pet to the vet but Aloha has been truly amazing. I love the staff, the are so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Jaimie treated my dog for some teeth removal and another small procedure and she was so great, called me the very next day just to follow up which was great. Also during these difficult times I expressed my need to keep the costs to a certain range and they really were sympathetic and worked with my budget which is very often unheard of at the vet. I like that they treat their customers and pets with care and understanding. They have a lifetime client with me! Best animal hospital I’ve ever been to 😃

This was MY first visit to the vet. I brought in my rescue dog for a basic check up and to address my concerns for the dog's health. I'm a first time dog owner so I was learning. Dr. Knickerbocker and her nurse were patient with my scared dog, answered all my questions, and explained the procedures and treatment options. The other staff members were very friendly and understanding of all the animals waiting to be seen. I was comfortable and the staff made every effort to help my pet feel comfortable. I took my dog of 14 years to Banfield and they didn't think to provide medication for his heart murmur. Aloha was there to help with oxygen and everything we needed in his last week. Had the other vet provided meds he might have been around longer, but who knows. My husband had been taking his dog to Aloha since he was a puppy and they are more expensive, but they do provide the right kind of care for our dogs. They were suprised my little old man wasn't on meds for his murmur. This was right in the heat of covid in 2020 so we had to pass him off and wait in the car, but they were updating us at all times. Fast forward a year later our friend was constantly having issues getting into the vet right by his house and he knew about our experience so he switched all 3 of his dogs to Aloha. His oldest dog was having issues breathing one day and he brought her in right away. He had to make a tough decision bc they discovered really bad cancer that was only going to be a world of hurt for his baby which was causing the breathing problem. Aloha was so helpful to my friend. I actually came and sat with him and he occupied the room for at least 1-2 hrs.. no one was trying to rush him out or anything like that. They gave him all the time he needed. They explained the process when it was time. They were amazing. Fast forward to now, we have another dog so both of our dogs go there and Aloha is still great. They have an online appointment system which helps them with the call load. Also, it helps us to quickly schedule an appointment. While yes they are more expensive then the Banfield vets of the world their care is tremendous and truly makes a difference. If you can afford it definitely bring your pets here!

I had a bird emergency and NO ONE, I MEAN NOT ONE VET in Las Vegas would take the time or care to help me like Aloha. Last week and again today. Even my own traditional aviatory vet was completely unaccommodating. We live SO FAR AWAY from this clinic and could care less because the service was so caring and stellar. It truly brings me to tears to think about what Dr. Beckes and Dr. Sulliban did for my cat, Sydney. When I say they went above and beyond, I mean it! These individuals are the epitome of what it means to be a veterinarian because their goal is to improve the lives of animals, not obtain a big paycheck. They worked with me for months to help improve my baby's ability to pass stool, and continue to personally call and check in on her. Sydney's treatment would've been financially impossible for me anywhere else, but Aloha's values are far more than a monetary gain and they found a treatment that I could afford. I am eternally grateful for the Aloha team, especially Dr. Beckes!

I used to go to another veterinary hospital, but they have always had constant turnover of doctors and many of them were young so my guess is that new doctors use that place as a stepping stone to gain experience then move on to a better paying vet hospital so I decided that I wanted to take my dog to a place that has a low or no turnover rate for their doctors and one that had great reviews and one that is not too far from where I live just in case of emergency. After much homework, I chose Aloha Animal Hospital and it's not just because I'm from Hawaii. I am glad that I chose Aloha Animal Hospital for my dogs medical needs. I like seeing the same people whenever I go there and I have confidence in their vets as they have many years of experience. They have taken great care of my dog on the few times that he needed help from a professional. Lately I have noticed that getting an appointment is much longer than pre-covid days which is the only negative thing I can think of.

Had to find my dog a new veterinarian office and am thankful that I found Aloha Animal Hospital. They have an excellent new client exam deal, encompassing a head to tail assessment for $1. The staff were very patient, courteous, and provided me with all the important updates from the exam, including taking the time to answer all my questions. During COVID19, they did ask the owners to wait in the car, but the nurses came out to retrieve and return my dog and made the experience quite efficient. Definitely will continue coming back for my dog's health care needs!

The staff is incredible sweet and the vets are so knowledgeable, friendly and truly compassionate of pets! Only place I've been that actually follows up with you and sees how your pet is doing! I absolutely love this place. Recently, my dog needed some attention. He ended up having a pretty bad ear infection, and was on garbage food so he also had a yeast infection. Dr. Nieves and the entire staff were amazing with him. Within 2 weeks, a few medications, and a change of food, it's like I have a completely different dog. He's never been more energetic or happy. Still have a week of antifungals to finish, but the difference is night and day. If you want a veterinarian's office that truly cares, look no further. This is the place.

My ferret needed emergency surgery my vet said they had no time for him and told me to wait 2 to 3 days! Thank Gawd for Aloha Animal Hospital they took him in right away! Did his surgery and have reasonable prices! Dr. Jamie said he would of not made it another 24 hrs!Thank you for being so caring and compassionate and saving my fur baby I am forever grateful!!!

I have been bringing my dogs here since I was in my 20’s. The staff is always friendly & David has always been my favorite! Dr. Jason treated my dog Bowser a Bichon Poodle Mix and he lived until 19. All the vets here are to the point and I really trust their anesthesia as I was nervous about my last doggie going under at 14 and they really have never failed me.If you’re looking for a reliable vet go here! This was my first visit here and I really appreciated the customer service & patient care that was given. I made a mistake with my appointment time and everyone on staff did their best to accommodate me and my furry baby even though I was clearly in the wrong, with no more then a 5 minute wait. Facility was very clean and kept up. Everyone on the faculty were very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions. We also both received a treat at the visit that was the extra thought and care that I feel separate businesses from each other. I will be enrolling in their wellness program that they offer. Great staff that attends to all types of animals even exotics. Loki my ferret has been well taken care of both times I have taken him in. The vets understand that with ferrets when they have their shots they have to be held there for at least 30 min because they don't make shots specific for ferret and there can be complications. Although that's basic knowledge it's impressive that they follow the advice. They will also answer any questions you have in regards to food or any other products for your pet.

I love this place. The staff is super nice and friendly and they really care about the pets they treat. Dr. K is great and very informative. Whenever our ferrets get treated they always call us to check in and make sure they are doing good and getting better. You have to get an appointment in advance but whenever we have an emergency they always accommodate us. The place is also very welcoming and clean, and they always have free chocolates in each exam room for customers which is a sweet touch (literally XD).

Dr. Jamie Sulliban is the BEST!!!! My dog loves her. She is patient and compassionate. The staff is wonderful kind and more that a lot understanding. I get postcards with my pups picture reminding me when her shots are due. I had to board her for a emergency weekend. I was very surprised when the boarding staff came out to meet me and my dog. They ask questions like how does she play. It is one thing to know she is well taken care of but another to know that they played with her too. Dr. Jason takes the time to listen to your concerns and tries to figure out what’s going on with your animal. My little Goose (My dog) hates the vet and get scared as soon as we park the car, but he’s treated so well. Dr. Jason understands Goose’s fears and usually sit on the floor to examine him. He tries to do whatever is most comfortable for my little fur baby and I’m beyond grateful! Thank you Aloha hospital for being understanding and always helpful in stressful times we’re people are most emotional. I discovered a small bump on my dog before Christmas, and they were able to fit Goose in without an appointment to ease my mind before the holiday travel. I’m just always impressed with how professional they are. Not to mention, they’re mindful of their customers. We returned today for a follow up appointment since Goose’s bump got larger... but i noticed a lady in the corner crying. Being a animal lover I knew exactly what it meant and chocked down the tears as I empathized for her and her furry friend. As I checked in, I saw a fake candle at the front desk on. It said, when the candle is on, that a customer has lost their companion and please be mindful in respect for them. (Not sure the exact words). But thought it was a nice touch for other customers to be mindful when that difficult time comes. It’s something small, but means a lot. Thank Aloha Hospital for caring for our babies!!!

Today I had an emergency with 3 newborns and was turned down at every vet (even here) and while they were fully booked and in surgeries They allowed me to bring them in and someone would see them... A few hours later Dr Jason called and explained everything he did and why.. He also gave me advice on ways I could improve and said he would call to check in On me and the babies! I was very nervous to go and pick them up but my bill was beyond resaonable and I felt very confident that he did everything right! My only issue is the receptionists on the phone and in person can be very rude and condensing (this has happened more then once) This doesn't apply to Erin (lover her) or the male (love him) they are both very kind and always make me smile and offer to help me with my load of buns! The veterinarians and staff here are great. We started coming here in 2018 after adopting 3 cats. Although the drive is about an hr from our home we've made the right decision to use them vs our local veterinarians. Two of the cats have had serious medical issues. Had we used the local veterinarians one would have lost his eye. That's not ok in our book. Not when with proper care the eye could be saved. If your looking for veterinarians that treat your pet as part of your family this is the place to come.

I can't imagine why anyone would have any thing negative to say about the reception at this facility. I found them to be very warm and friendly. I can't even begin to say how touched I was by their care and compassion. Our bird was sick and as happens with them, by the time I saw the symptoms it was too late. She died a couple of days later. I received a follow up call from the vet about 5 days later and had to let her know that my bird hadn't pullled through. My last experience with a sick bird occurred at another animal hospital. I was given the options, and told the vet that I was in a bad financial spot so I wanted to know if she thought I should go ahead and try the injections and she advised "I would". I should have considered our salary differences maybe because after paying over $100, we walk out of the office and before we had left the parking lot my bird was gone. I called the vet when I got home and I had questions, the receptionist said that she would have the vet call me back, but I never got that call. It broke my heart that the vet hadn't just told me that the odds of my bird surviving were so low that going ahead with the injections would most likely be ineffective. I felt with her experience and exam of my beloved pet, that she probably knew that. BY CONTRAST...at Aloha, not only did the vet follow up with me, but a few days ago I received a card offering condolences, which had been signed by quite a few staff members at Aloha, each with their own message. The envelope included a small red heart engraved with the message "In loving memory of Skye". I almost cried when I read the card and realized how compassionate and understanding these people were of my loss.

When we received mail today from the Aloha Animal Hospital today it was a surprise, but even more so when we opened it to find a card with handwritten notes from the staff and vets about our Dexter who sadly passed recently. It was accompanied by an engraved heart which we will add to his memorial frame on our mantle. We have had a number of pets and some are gone, but never have we seen something so caring from a vet before! Beyond reading the notes we now know even though he was by himself at the clinic over night before he passed he was not alone and that matters a lot. They call and leave mixed messages on my voicemail and they actually gave me another dogs prescriptions after going back and forth with me about what was left on my voicemail. I met Dr. Jamie about two weeks ago when my guinea pig fell sick. She diagnosed him and after about a week he seemed to becoming hisself again. But today 11/2 /2020 he took a turn for the worst. They got us in immediately where more meds were given. Upon returning home he started to gasp for air. again they said return right away. I did and Dr. Jamie did everything she could. But it just wasn't helping. we decided it was better he go to Heaven. She was the most sweet, compassionate woman while given the final paperwork. I have been going to the same vet for 10 years, but after a BIG mistake they made due to lack of communication I decided to try someone new. A friend recommended Aloha so I decided to try it. I guess I didn't realize just how out of date my old vet's office was! I mean, they weigh the dog right away? A vet assistant comes in to debrief you about your animal and types it into a COMPUTER? The entire animal is examined instead of just the thing you think is wrong? Shocking! On top of that, Dr. Beckes solved my dog's allergy problems, which had never been solved before, and she even texted me a week later to make sure he was doing well. My cat suddenly began to act strange, and after a few phone calls to other vets rejecting a walk-in, Aloha Animal Hospital said "We usually are appointment only, but that sounds serious so bring him right away." I'm glad I did, they discovered an abscess under his tail, and moved to treat him immediately. They wanted to keep him overnight to be sure, but we were confident we could look after him at home. (He's made a full recovery! Yay!) The best thing was, I got the sense they were cautious purely out of looking out for my animal companion, and not their own coffers. They have a rough job, but I'm so glad they're there in case we need treatment again. The entire staff is caring and pleasant to be around. Respect them and they'll give you the very best. We have been going here since 2007 and they always surpass our expectations. Our latest visit involved surgery to remove 9 of our dog's teeth, and their estimate ranged. Although I was prepared to pay over $1,100, to have all the teeth removed, they were able to save most of them and only remove the really bad ones. And ended up costing me under 700. Which was lower than the low end of their estimate. I was pleasantly surprised and as always Dr. Jamie the whole staff treated Bailey our dog like their own. We will never go anywhere else.

Very friendly nurses and doctors that won't stop until they find the root of a problem and give the best options to fix it. Our corgi was experiencing a skin problem and I thought it was bacterial, bug, or fungus. Turns out it was severe climate and area allergies and dry skin causing pink sores and crusty scabs. But they fixed her right up in a couple weeks time with an allergy shot and recommending a moisturizing shampoo.

I love it, they make me feel like 'family' but the family member that you like of course. My older dog has heart disease and Dr. Cheryl was very caring and through with him, my younger dog well, she's spoiled and Dr Cheryl always 'accommodates' her. My older dog had an ulcer that became infected and Dr. Jamie made a recommendation but that Dr was 'too busy' so Dr. Cheryl made me realize that the problem needed to be taken care of right away and turned me on to a much better doctor. Even though the outcome was a lot more serious than I thought I am grateful that my older dog is healthy and still with us today. The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I am a first time parakeet owner and the staff and Dr. Anne Beckes educated us a lot as well as provide a folder of info for caring for her. One of the few bird vets in town. Made a wellness appointment within the week and was a short 10 minute wait. The first time patient special is $1 for the visit. We love Dr.Jason Sulliban. We found him because we needed a veterinarian that could treat fish. He made a house call to help us with our koi pond and to help us figure out why mysteriously we were having a fish die maybe once every other month. He had us bring a living fish over to his office and ran test and found that the fishes had 2 infections that came from birds!!!!!! With his expertise we treated the pond with his prescription and we haven't had a fish die since.Also Dr.Jason Sulliban also treats the animals at the Springs Preserve . So if you have a pet that is not just a cat or dog he's the doctor who can help you. We think he's the best he also takes care of her cats too.

The staff and care at Aloha are great. They take excellent care of our two Border Terriers, Guinness and Hamish. Guinness suffers from high anxiety when visiting the vet or being boarded. My first time going there and I find out my little 8yr old dachshund had cancer. The staff was absolutely kind, sensitive, and supportive through the entire thing. Dr. Beckes explained my options and though saving my girl was very unlikely and would put her through so much, we made the tough decision to say goodbye. The dr asked if we wanted to be with her and asked if we were familiar with the procedure. We weren't so she gently explained everything that would happen and how it worked. My Snickers passed away peacefully in our arms. We were able to take care of everything right before it happened so that once we had gathered ourselves from our grief we could just leave right away, rather than stand in the lobby sobbing while trying to pay. I can't thank the staff enough for their support and kindness. I will definitely return with my other dog anytime though hopefully for reasons not as sad as my first visit.

I have senior dogs, and when two of them needed surgery, I spent over three weeks searching for the very best vet hospital I could find. I read many excellent reviews online for Aloha Animal Hospital, so off we went for a road trip! I must say that Aloha Animal Hospital is the BEST hospital we have ever been to -- and that covers five different states over the years, and many wonderful vets. From making the appointment, to arriving for preliminary exams, to the surgery itself, everyone was amazing: compassionate, caring, thorough, intuitive, attentive, knowledgeable and experienced! I was so impressed by the staff and their state-of-the-art facility, I was able to leave the loves of my life in their care without a worry. Normally I fret the entire time my dogs are away from me; but at Aloha I felt comfortable knowing they were in excellent hands. (**Special thanks to Melisa and Dr. K for the extra time they spent with us going over x-rays and discharge directions.) The hospital is clean and the staff is professional, and yet they also bring a sense of fun to what can often be an emotionally draining experience. They took adorable pictures of my dogs all dressed up for St. Patrick's Day -- pictures so precious, I will treasure them always! When I went to pick up the fur kids, they were dressed up in green bows and scarves, and I just found myself grinning from ear to ear. So although they were in for surgery, we left with smiles and the gratification of knowing we got the very best care possible. UPDATE: Holy f'ing moly are we so gracious for Aloha Animal Hospital being our vet for both of our toy yorkies!!! Apparently our oldest one had heart worms that had been festering in her small body for years without no signs from her at all. Our previous vet, for about 4 years for her, neglected to spot them. Mind you we do every check up and shots and tests as recommended by the vets throughout the year, never ever skipping anything. How did Durango Animal Hospital miss out on the worms we have no idea. Mind you Durango was an AMAZING vet and we only changed vets because of our move. Either way when Aloha did a full test on her they found an irregularity in her heart beat and ran couple more tests and found out her entire little body was festered with them. They said the level of infestation she's at means she had them for years. Our strong little girl never showed any signs what so ever. Aloha said the reason Durango probably never saw them was heart worm tests are RARELY done in Vegas because they are very very rare cases. They get transmitted via mosquitoes and usually only last in the mosquitoes system within the neighborhood from dog to dog. When was the last time a mosquito bit you in Vegas? Answer: I don't recall. Absolutely the BEST! I drive 45 mins from extreme NW/ Centennial Hills to have safest, most attentive care for my 5 rabbits. Fact: Dewey No-kill Animal Shelter trusts ONLY Aloha to spade/ neuter their small mammals. They have highest survival rate in LV for surgeries and, unlike other places, use human grade (not crappy) anesthesia. They treat about 90% of LV rabbits so easily have the most experience. My last visit, waiting room full of dog, bird, lizard, guinea pig and rabbit (me) parents talking how much we LOVE Aloha. Btw, wait was under 10 mins.
