It is walk-in only. I like to go early. I spend a little more time than if I had a scheduled appointment elsewhere, but for the money I save, it's worth it. They truly care for animals here. Most of my visits were during the height of covid, so the process was to wait in line outside until they opened, check-in, and go back and wait in your car until they called your phone to come back inside when they had a room ready. This actually works better for me since my dog is reactive to other animals. Anyway, the vet suggested some supplements for my senior dog during our checkup that helped her with her joint pain.

I took Jessica Simpson aka Jessie in for her 1st shots. We were seen by Dr. Haney. She was awesome. From now on I will request her. It's really hard trusting someone to take care of your furry family members. I will definitely take my other dogs to this place. I also have to include all the other staff members. Everyone seemed happy to be there vs just being there for a job. Plus the prices were crazy cheap! They have a client for life!

I came here a couple weeks ago because I was having issues getting in for a vet appointment anywhere else and my dog had injured her eye. The vets kept recommending that I go to an emergency clinic and there was no way I would be able to afford that. It was great to be able to come on a day I was able to and just wait in line. Walk in only, no appointments. It does take a while waiting in line, but it is worth it. I made friends and had great conversation with the people in front of me and behind me in the line. My dog had an eye injury and I found out that my senior dogs' heart murmur had gotten much worse and she needed x-rays and to be put on heart medication. I'm very thankful Dr. Johnson caught her heart issue even though I didn't come in for that. I didn't feel like he was trying to get more money out of me or recommending things that my dog didn't need. Not to mention, the cost was very very generous. My bill was less than $500 and I got x-rays, eye medication, senior bloodwork, an exam, a radiologist consult and heart medication. This is absolutely unheard of and I am so thankful the staff and doctor there care enough about the animals and people in the community to provide vet services at such a low cost. I work at an animal shelter and I don't make a ton of money or have the means to pay extremely high vet bills for my pets. I would have never been able to afford this quality of care anywhere else. I don't care how long I have to wait or if I have to take a day off work to wait in this line to come here. I will come to this vet clinic from now on where I don't feel like I am being taken advantage of. I am so so so thankful for this clinic. ❤

Get there early and be prepared to wait in your car for hours. Since moving to Indy, I haven't yet found a regular vet. So, when my baby girl was sick, West Michigan was the best choice for us. The staff was professional.

Walk in only. Long lines, but within t 2.5-3 hours we had checked in, got shots and on our way for our 4 dogs. Staff handled the crowd quite well and they see a lot of pets. Quite happy with the experience.

It's a first come first served place ... People lined up outside by 730 am ... It was cold , but worth the wait... Once inside the docs moved quickly and efficiently ! I will never go anywhere else! They are the best vets in town!!

It was very clean and they did really well with social distancing. Be prepared to wait a while since they don’t do appointments. It does look a little rough on the outside but inside it’s nice. I brought work with me to do in my car and my cat and I were ok with the wait. FYI the public bathroom is closed but you may be able to use the gas station restroom. The vet was very nice and worked well with my cat. She explained everything and when I followed up with more questions via email I got a timely response. It was also very affordable. They went above and beyond with the care for my cat.

I love Doc Johnson, he’s wonderful with cats. There is one big drawback to this business-THEY ARE JAMMED ALL THE TIME. I will tell you it’s bc they are affordable, don’t play games, they move as fast as they can to do the job right and they don’t screw pet owners into a lot of stuff they don’t need and/or can’t afford. That’s why I give ‘em a five. They are first come first served. So you best be first if you can’t wait. Usually I wait at least 2 hours every time I go bcz I am never first in line.But that is on me, not WMVC.I am glad they are here. They never misdiagnosed any of my cases.

I love Dr Johnson. He's no nonsense, honest and he's kind. He just seems like an all around good person! All of his staff is great. The techs are awesome. The front desk is polite and helpful. They do an amazing job with dentals, x-rays, everything! Plus they're a fraction of the price of other vets. My old vet was bought out and prices went up but the care my dogs received went downhill. Show up early to sign in, as they're always busy. Bring a book and be patient. They've taken fantastic care of my pups of various sizes/breeds/mutts and ages. I have a few dogs and this establishment makes it so easy to afford any and all care they might need. I've sent several of my friends and clients to them and have never gotten anything but positive feedback. I'm very thankful for this business. They help so many people and animals.

Dr Johnson and the staff at WMSVC always took good care of my mothers poodle for years, so when I got a dog, I decided to use them also. My dog Gryffin went in on May 5th to be neutered. There is a pre-surgery consultation, then a date/time were set up for the surgery. The surgery went well, he is doing good, and he is pretty much healed from the surgery. Thank you all for being so friendly and professional to your customers/patients, and for being compassionate and caring about our furbabies. 🐕🐩🐈

All the Doctors are super caring. Dr. Johnson reminds me of Popeye but the sweetest, nicest, most thorough guy. He has been taking care of our Franco since he was 8 weeks old. We had a puppy that passed earlier this year his name was Laika and the clinic sent us a letter expressing their condolences. When later this year the breeder informed us of a new littler, so we decided to try again. We brought home giant puppy Schnauzer BRUNO. We brought him back to West Michigan Vet for his first check up. First think Doc said was "He is two months you said? Wooh. He is big. Yeah. Wooh. His is going to be real big." LOL!!! Pleased and happy to have this place. Thank you to all the team.

This clinic is amazing. They are low cost and always friendly. I have never had a bad experience here. When I go in I expect a wait due to the super low cost. I am always friendly to the staff as I appreciate what they do for the community and they always reciprocate. I wish there were less predatory vets in Indy and more establishments like this! Be prepared to be there for at least 2 hours. You can't beat the vaccine prices. $10 for shots and dewormer is free if getting shots too. They also carry Revolution which is safe to give to puppies at least 6 weeks old. It stays very busy most of the time so expect long waits.

Ive noticed there are quite a few reviews that are bashing the vet for simply being busy. When, in reality, it should be appreciated on how busy they are. The place is great, and i drive half an hour and past at least 3 vets because i trust his place more than others. And ive looked around; their pricing really cant be beat. I cant imagine how they stay afloat being half the price of just about any other option. Truly a vet worthy of praise and respect!

Dr. Johnson, as always is first class! Knowledge, friendly & efficient. My only issue is I arrived at 9:22am & didn't get in the building till 10:55am. I, along with the long line of people waited outside in 37ﾟweather the whole time. I simply don't know why the check in process takes that long. You'd think, especially when it's cold outside they would have any & all persons do check ins so at least people can sit in their car.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem. This is a low cost clinic (extremely low cost) so where you save on money, you will likely need to pay in time. The front desk staff is SO kind and clearly works so unbelievably hard! Each time I have gone, Dr. Johnson has been the vet. He is very straight forward, however he is also extremely knowledgeable and compassionate. I usually expect to spend 3 hours here - from the time I walk in to the time I have paid and can leave. The pricing here is about 1/3 of a regular by-appointment vet. They are very open about their pricing and you can see majority of their pricing on their website. I am disappointed to see the reviews complaining about the time it takes to be seen here. They are very clearly a high volume, low cost vet. If you are wanting to be seen in a specific amount of time, you should go to a by-appointment vet. Or for the reviews stating they had an emergency and didn't want to wait - by all means please go to a emergency vet clinic! This is not meant to be an emergency vet clinic. The people who work here work extremely hard and see a crazy amount of patients each day. Hats off to all the employees!

In the past I've had great experiences here however, today I got there at 7:10 and then learned we were very early lol because they didn't open until 9. After they had taken the first round of vaccination patients they came out for regular patients.my dog has a broken leg and I was told I had to have all the emergency vets notes sent to them so I did that. Then the receptionist sent me home without having my dog seen. She said it could take up to 24 hours before a vet will see us, so now I have to take my dog out again in the hopes that they will see her tomorrow. It breaks my heart to see her like this but in the past it's always been exceptional vet care so I'm hoping I get the same outstanding care tomorrow. We will see

I like the walk-in at any time but it has its limit til 3pm. Masks are required but overall it has good service for a affordable and public pet clinic. Everyone shows up here so cut em some slack but if you want faster attendance show up early.

I tried calling cause I have a dog that has been throwing up even water. They never answered. My husband took her to Noah's they never found anything wrong. They charged my husband over one thousand dollars to find nothing. I wish michigan vet would have answered their phone.

Excellent care and reasonable prices. Be prepared for a 2-3 hour wait in your car. I visited for an urgent issue that my regular vet couldn't see quickly. I would definitely come back if I can't get in to our regular vet, as well as for preventative meds.

Everyone here was very nice. The doctor was great! She was kind and honest. Their prices were very reasonable. My puppy is 13 years old and they treated him perfectly! The only "draw back" was the wait. I stood in line for @ 2.5 hours then waited to be seen, the waited for results..I spent 4-4.5 hours there. But? When Noone else could get him in...they did. Very grateful for this clinic.

This was our first time visiting here the ladies at the front desk were nice and friendly even though it was super busy we unfortunately had to put our baby down and they allowed me and my daughter to be in the room and let us stay and love on her for as long as we wanted to the vet was very nice our honey dog will be missed greatly but we felt ok because they made us feel comfortable there I’m thankful for that

I took my 2 kittens to be vaccinated/dewormed and everyone was so kind and helpful. As a young adult, sometimes navigating these types of experiences can be daunting, but the team of receptionists, vet techs, and veterinarians were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without rushing me. Expect a wait upon arrival, especially in the morning, BUT I absolutely do not mind waiting if I know that my babies are getting the care that they deserve. This clinic is not like many others in the area that seem money hungry. They truly care and are passionate about making sure all animals (and their owners) leave happy and healthy. Thank you West Michigan Street Vet Clinic for a wonderful experience. Definitely take your babies here!!

Yes, you will wait awhile until your furbaby can be seen that day. But, when it's walk in appointments only, it's understandable. They truly do care, and they move as quickly as possible. They are very upfront with the cost of treatment, and very reasonable as well. Thank them and tell them they are all doing great, and that you appreciate them being there for your furbaby.

I take my dog and cats to this clinic. They do a great job with my pets. Their prices are very reasonable. Just make sure you read all medications they give you. They accidentally gave me dog flea medicine for my cats. They corrected the problem the next day, but it could have been fatal for the cat if l hadn't paid attention.

I absolutely love West Michigan Street Vet Clinic and everyone who works there. The first time I went there was with a stray I had found and was trying to get healthy, initially at another vet clinic. The other vet clinic had done bare minimum at the checkups and not given me a lot of details. It wasn't until I took him here that I got a really clear picture of his health, learning things I had no idea were an issue since the other vet clinic didn't really do any in depth look at him. They were really upfront with me about his health and were really clear where the other vet had not been. Unfortunately, he needed to be put down but they were SUPER nice about the whole process. They gave me as much time as I needed, despite being busy, they were really caring and understanding and made the entire process as easy as they could. And later even sent me a condolences card in the mail. Since then I've taken my dog there for spaying and again, they were really professional and nice, despite my dog being sort of difficult. The wait can be long (I think typically we wait around half an hour in line before doors open and then about ten minutes in line after doors open and maybe forty-five minutes to be seen) and I would recommend getting there at minimum half an hour before the doors open to get a good spot in line, but the wait is 100% worth it for the affordable price and outstanding care you get.

This is a low cost vet clinic that is first come first serve. The do not do appointments. The staff is friendly and caring. I have not had a bad experience here and we have been coming here for over 10 years. They also have great prices on flea and tick meds for cats and dogs. They are really good about keeping their website update with any restrictions and they also posts updates on sign outside. Don't be surprised if they tell you to go get a mask even if you just want to pick up meds.

While they were unable to see my dog they were able to provide the necessary steps, numbers and addresses to get my dog the fastest specialty care. I appreciate the fact that they were honest upfront that the issue was out of their abilities and we're able to direct me to the appropriate place. In doing so they helped save my dog. Thank you!

The pricing is phenomenal! Great care, loved how they handled my dogs and were so interactive with them. Very thorough without lots of extra fluff or pressure to get additional products or services. It is walk-in only so plan to wait as they do handle a large number of cases. This is really the only downside at all but it is much nicer and the staff is so much more friendly than at similar I've been to. It is well worth your time for the savings. They will allow you the option to wait in your car with your pet and bring them in around the back if they don't do well around other animals or in that type of situation. Nice clean facility. There is also a little side play room for kids and a "quiet area" for maybe cats and older/more subdued dogs.

Yes, you WILL have a long wait. This is given. BUT for the price and dedication to the animals, you can't go wrong. Just know if you aren't there as soon as the doors open it will probably be 2-4 hour wait, if they say it will be 3 hours it will be 3 hours. But they will call you when it's your turn so you can definitely stay outside with your pet in your car and even leave for a couple of hours and come back. I wouldn't stay out past an hour window though because sometimes people don't wait for their appointment and they may be able to get you in sooner. Long story short.... long wait, great and cheap care. 👍

They were amazing. I will never go to another vet ever again. They are sweet and I had never been before and they were very patient and helped me understand everything. They area walk in clinic only so u will be there for a couple hours but that's expected. They take great care of the animals

Everyone was helpful and patient even though it was super busy. It's also helpful that it's a walk in clinic if you need anything done same day. They check you in at the desk inside and then have you wait in your car and call you when it's your turn. Wait times vary depending on how busy they are. Great place to go though, everyone was kind and knowledgeable!

I've brought my pets here for several years. The vets and staff are very knowledgeable, caring and kind! This is the only vet clinic I will bring my fur kids to. Sometimes, you may have a wait but, it's well worth it. They have very reasonable prices. I would recommend this place to anyone, you can't go wrong in choosing them for your pets needs. 💜💜💜

I couldn't have been happier with my experience at West Michigan St Vet Clinic. My dog had some nasty interdigital cysts and my partner and I raced all over Indianapolis for several hours trying to get him some immediate & affordable help. Lots of other affordable clinics we visited didn't have the resources to address the issue, while more expensive options didn't allow walk-ins and didn't have availability for appointments for weeks. We finally stumbled upon this clinic and left feeling much better about our pup! Treatment was way more inexpensive than I even imagined it to be and all the employees were so professional and kind. I will definitely be returning to West Michigan for all of my pet needs. Thank you so much!!

Great care for the price. Wait times aren't the best but expected since it's a walk - in clinic. Staff is usually nice and informative. A few doctor's have been a lil short or seemed annoyed. But who wouldn't be after seeing so many animals as quickly as they do. Recommend for sure. Advice= be patient and understand that your animal isn't the only one being treated and they are all doing the best they can to help low income families with their their fur babies. 😊

Very friendly staff! You can't beat the price for the services offered here. My cat behaves better for them than for me! During Covid, you show up, leave your pet in the vehicle while you go inside to register. Head back out to wait. They call you when it's your turn to come in. Be prepared for a wait. I have taken my pets to them for at least ten years, I’ve got in and out quickly at times and other times I’ve had the wait that I feel is expected, with the nature of the business and them being a low cost facility. I appreciate them and what they do for the community, as I feel my animals are my emotional support at times and I love them. I will continue to take my pets to them. Thanks for all you do. I feel that the vets may not be as personal with each animal as some people and may expect but in order to help as many people and animals as they have coming thru, they have to be more efficient and quick, but In my time of need I felt they where personal and efficient.

Always super friendly even though they see over a hundred patients a day. They also don't try to push products or services on you unless required. The only negative isn't really a fixable thing...super long wait due to the amount of patients seen. Overall a great place to take care of your furry friends.

I would definitely recommend this facility for your fur babies. Unfortunately, I had to put my baby girl down and as a walk in patient we were taking care of from the time we entered the building. My babygirl went peacefully, fast and with care. The rates were reasonable and the options were well suited. Thanks to all the staff, Michelle, the aid and the administer of the meds. I needed a vet that had walk-in appointments as my regular vet could not see me for over 2 weeks. The front end staff was friendly and great to work with. The office was clean nothing fancy, who wants to pay for fancy. That’s why the fee is half the price of my vet. The vet was great to my poor puppy and very knowledgeable and hands-on. A little farther than what I wanted but I will be back with all 3 of my dogs. Thanks for making MoJo better. So if you are looking for a great vet look no farther.... this is the place.

Very very busy!!! I went on a Thursday at 9am and was seen at 1120, but they did all of my pups vaccinations in one visit. You do have to wait in your car, so keep that in mind if it’s a hot day or you have multiple pets. Very organized crew, they call you and you’re seen very quickly once you’re in the building. I did like that you walk thru an empty waiting room with pet, you don’t need to deal with barking, jumping, or sneak attacks. But on that note, you must take your pet out and come back to pay and you must be aware of the dogs walking thru! Very large dog there that was stronger than the human, could have easily been injured if I wasn’t paying attention. Overall, I’d def go back!

they gave my cat dental surgery for around $500, which is an amazingly good deal. they used anesthesia and then removed 6 teeth for that price. it also included the antibiotics and pain medication afterwards. it costs thousands other places. they really helped me to get my cat's health back on track and were friendly and supportive the whole time. 100% recommend.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about West Michigan vet. Our dog had gone to 2 other animal hospitals before we found this gem. Our dog needed surgery. They saw us the same day and got our pup into surgery the next day. Cost was very reasonable and they were super knowledgeable. I am so glad another animal hospital sent us here after giving us an estimate that was 7 times higher than West Michigan Vet!!

Very caring place I took my 3 yrs. old Shih Tzu in for a dental cleaning/possible extractions. With the pandemic in place you're required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing. For a normal visit, your pet stays in the vehicle and you enter to give info and phone number and they will call you when they're ready for you. I was thankful my dog only needed a cleaning and they did an excellent job! His teeth looked much better, all of the tartar build up was removed. He required sedation and he wasn't too out of it when I picked him up. The staff are friendly, helpful, caring, patient and professional. I haven't met anyone at the hospital who didn't genuinely care for the pets. By this facility being a low cost hospital, you may encounter long wait times. It's best to plan your day accordingly to accommodate any delays. I've been at the hospital when unruly people came in and were disrespectful towards the staff. They kept their peace and remained professional throughout the encounter. I will continue to bring my Chewy to receive all of his medical needs. Thank you ladies!

Privately owned veterinay. No corporate bs, no government funding. Dr Johnson and his staff are doing such a wonderful service for our community that they have no reason for doing other than a personal high care level for pets and people. You do have to wait on a first-come-first-serve basis, which has sometimes taken me 1 hour sometimes 4, and sometimes they quit taking new check-ins due to high volume (get there early!), but in exchange you receive care for your pets at a fraction of the price. Bring a book or a smart phone to pass the time. Treat the staff courteously, they are doing a great job. I am able to afford to take my animals on a regular checkup due to this business, and also take them for additional services when necessary, which I could not do prior due to finding them due to financial restrictions. They do accept cash, credit cards, and even CareCredit as long as you also bring your ID, this makes it even more affordable for me with 6 months to pay no interest (you have to apply for your own CareCredit account independently, as you would have to for any line of credit).

I have twin beautiful cats 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ that I and my twin daughter's and youngest son have and they are wonderful. We love them sooooo much and when COVID-19 came this was the only "pet hospital" 🏨 that would accept us at such short notice. The long wait in my opinion is extremely necessary for everyone's health and safety, including our pets. You can't beat $10-20 shots. Neighborhood is not the best. It's very crowded and you may be waiting two hours if you go on a saturday between 10-1 but they see everyone staff is friendly and you can ask them to call your cell phone when your turns up and sit in your car to avoid the crowded waiting area. They also have a quiet room with 3 cubicles and two chairs each for some quiet and privacy if you choose. The doctor is very informative friendly with your pet and we thought it was neat she smeared dog food on the table so our puppy would be distracted and before we realized what she was doing she was done ! Won't go anywhere else for our 🐕 pup, worth the wait !

My dogs have been going to W Michigan St Vet for years and will always come here. They do not have appointments and the earlier you come the better. You have to know that going in, you’re going to wait if you come mid day, and mid day on a weekend? You’ll be waiting for hours. However it has always allowed us to keep our dogs vet bills down. My dog was acting sick last year and we took him in, they gave him xrays, and sure enough, he had eaten something that was now stuck inside him. We were able to get this surgery done for a fraction of what it would cost anywhere else. They definitely saved my dogs life. I know they aren’t always an option. Had my dog needed to see someone in the middle of the night we would have had to go to a 24 hour vet. But as long as they are open, they are your best bet. No surprise fees or outrageous invoices when you are done. Also, they have always been so kind to me and my family, despite the stressful environment they work in.

I love this vet! I took both my cats here on multiple occasions, and have had no issues whatsoever. The employees are always super nice and the price is unbeatable. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the doctor is always in a hurry and sometimes doesn’t stay around for you to ask questions. That can be a little frustrating, but not make or break! Overall a great experience. Sometimes the wait is long, but for the price, it’s worth it!

But they are surely worth every penny if you want a Proper Diagnosis and Treatment. After your diagnosis at Westside vet clinic If you can’t wait long for surgery You could Choose to have a surgical procedure with (Vetcheck Pet Urgent Care Center -14069 Mindy Dr Fishers -Open Everyday), they offer Affordable urgent surgical Procedure and use all the lab work that has already been done on your pet to help on the cost. Between both clinics your canine baby will be well looked after, and you will save on unnecessary expenses.

This clinic is able to save you money by not making appointments but rather taking walk-ins only and helping as many animals as they can each day. So plan to take a seat and wait a bit, then the friendly staff will provide your pet with great care for an affordable cost. The vet and techs helped my very sick cat multiple times and then fit him in for an exploratory surgery when they were already booked. They found and removed a toy from his intestines and saved his life. I am beyond grateful!

Great place and staff! The staff here made a huge impact on me last year. I had to put my friend for 14 years down and you could tell that they were there for the animals and the owner. God bless this place! the staff may seem a little decensitized to your situation, but really they're not they're just overworked and they see a lot of animals and deal with a lot of people daily. they are there because they love helping and caring and saving animals. so instead of getting upset with them try to put yourself in their shoes and understand where they're coming from and be nice and understanding. I myself took my little kitten at the time he's now eight months old and looks like a grown Tom cat he's an orange tabby, but at the time he had actually had a high impact fall and I saved him because his chin soft tissue from his mandible which means basically his bottom jaw, the soft tissue from his bottom jaw his chin area have been ripped off and the bone and the inner meat was exposed and the poor baby was just hungry and I just like a regular kitten but as soon as I put my eyes on him I immediately rushed him to the ER and they charged me $99 just to see him and then $50 for an antibiotic shot that only at last two weeks to save him from infection because once his bone got infected he would die. luckily I had just gotten some money so I was able to pay for it. because as long as I have the money I was doing everything I could to save the cat! can you tell him a cat lover yet! anyway I mean he was like baby kitten like I could hold it in my hand he was 7 weeks old and in big trouble at this time. so I found out about this low cost clinic thank God, and took him to be seen it was $30 for him to be seen and then it was a week later before you get surgery. so it was a scary week of trying to take you tips and clean his in in her mouth where his bone and tissue were that were exposed and he would cry because I knew it her and the doctor said he could only eat soft food so I tried my hardest to not bawl my eyes out while trying to clean it and keep it dry and just not damage it any further. finally when the surgery day came I couldn't be more happy and when he came out of surgery his mouth and Chin area looked impeccable! the surgeon is the most wonderful, smart, compassionate, and considerate educated woman and I could tell all this just from her work on my lovely sunny. we got him neutered while he was under as well. when I initially came to get him seen on the very first visit the vet that screened him did break my heart and did anger me because he took one look at him and said I don't think there's much we can do for him sorry and walked out the door. before he could close the door I stopped him and was angrily saying so that's it, he is just left to die, no I think there is something you can do. he stopped and then said I'll talk to the surgeon and we'll see go back and sit in the waiting room until we call your name. I had Sunny wrapped up in a blanket holding him like a newborn baby bawling my eyes out looking at him while he slept, a heartbreaking more and more as I rocked him due to him being doomed to die just because one vet had a bad day or was having a bad day. I knew better I knew that they could stitch that up or somehow fix that it wasn't that much of a damning injury.. plus the ER vet told me they could fix it but for $1,500 and I didn't have that $1,500 so I know it could be done. so luckily they ended up calling my name and the surgeon said she would do her best to fix this soft tissue rip and indeed she did! thank the Lord for her because it wasn't for her I wouldn't have my baby today! he is a healthy vibrant energetic cat that loves to play and loves to lay on your lap and loves chasing fake mice and brings a smile to my face everyday and brings my stress down ever since I rescued him. this other stuff of course deserve praise because it takes all of them doing their job to keep the place going and they also love animals and that's why they are doing what they do as an occupation. so to all of you at the Michigan Street low-cost veterinary clinic I, along with the thousands and thousands of others of animals you've saved ours, we thank you and can never repay you for the joy uve given us.

This appears to be a good set up. I don't mind waiting for lower cost care, however, be warned that they will not set up an account in your name if the dog was seen there and had a previous owner. When I checked in, the receptionist asked if I had been there before. I foolishly said I had not, but my dog had. I showed the invoice from when the previous owner had taken my dog in for her shots a year ago (we bought the dog off Craig's List 9 months ago) . The receptionist informed me that they could not open a new account in my name for an "established patient" unless they had verbal confirmation from the previous owner. The previous owner had written on the bottom of the paper that she had sold me the dog and the date, but the receptionist said for all she knew, I could have written that. So the rabies certificate and the shot record would be in the previous owners name and, as I am going to board my dog next month for a vacation, I did not want any issues and decided to leave and go somewhere else. I wish I had just said no when asked if we had been there before!

This place has really helped us in the past. If you go in knowing its gonna be a long wait, it isn't too bad. And not having to pay a whole paycheck just to give my pets basic care has been a godsend. If you have a while to wait, then it's worth it. But even for the wait they are efficient. The vet we always see is very direct and to the point, which might rub some people the wrong way, but I've never found him rude. We'll keep going to this place for the foreseeable.

This is a decent place for low income folks to care for their animals. However, be very prepared to spend hours, even all day waiting, even for just shots. If you hear from the staff that your pet needs an additional booster in a certin amount of time, and they say you just let the desk know its just the booster and you won't need to wait all day DON'T BELIEVE IT! Not only will you still wait, you will have an additional charge as well. This happened to me, so please be careful and ALWAYS be prepared to wait an extended period of time and pay more.

I took a un-neutered stray in, I call Romeo, wanted to get him shots and an eye infection cleaned up. Long wait in line, but I knew this cause I went in on a Friday, when they took took him in, they asked about neuter, I told them I was unable to set up an appointment as he roams the neighborhood and did not get along with my kittys, they were able to squeeze him in that day, great job, really care about the community. He will be one less contributing to over population. He is healing nicely, and staying in a closed off room, once 4th of July over, back ouyside where he wants to be.

Clean facilities with prices that are more than half the price you pay at a regular vet, just for vaccines it's 10.00, and the staff are friendly enough, where as other places I've been to it's almost as if the staff were forced to be there or they talk down to you. All the Veterinary's there are great. The staff is nice, the better you get to know them the better. Plus if your nice , they are nice! I have 4 dogs and 7 cats i take there, sure you can sit there and wait for up to a few hours but it is worth it in the end. There is no reason anyone should not have their pets vaccinated, $10. A shot plus they have scratch pay! I followed Dr. Johnston over from the Hawthorne building. He knows what he is doing!

I understand that dealing with the public you often must assume everyone is ignorant of good pet care at home. But they should learn how to recognize those who have much experience with animals. I worked at a wild animal rescue center in Florida for many years, and taken a plethora of courses on pet care, even educating pet owners in my community for free. I've worked as a dog trainer. Unfortunately the staff here has been embittered by the average low income clientele who frequent the clinic. One front desk worker, in my estimation, should be let go, which would save them much trouble. She was extremely rude, condescending and picks fights with many clients. She decided she did not like me as soon as I walked in the door. I'm also a Christian minister. I thought it was just me, so I poured on the sweetness and kindness, but to no avail. Then I witnessed her with several others doing the same thing. Doctor Johnson seems to have a lot of experience and loves animals. The prices are low which is a help to many people.

I brought my pup here for the first time and was pretty impressed. I am all about the quality of care my furry child gets and how the staff treats eachother, as well as the customers/pets. My big guy went in to get his vaccines and does not at all do good at any vets office. The vet and the vet tech were VERY kind and patient with him as he was so afraid and trying to get away. I feel like visiting the vet is disliked by both animals and owners alike lol. This one is definitely one of the better ones. The prices are the lowest available and affordable for almost anyone. The staff is nice and loving to my pup, they're just not very lively. The only recommendation is to ALWAYS call for doctors hours then show up as soon as it opens or you'll be spending the entire day there.

I bring my 3 dogs there and they always have good care. the only con is the long waiting time to be seeing by vets, mainly on Saturdays that is the only free day I have to go. As well as kindness&compassion for the owners as well. Everyone is treated the same. My dog has cancer& as the dr said it's the quality of her life now.and he made sure that she's going to get that. He gave me the paperwork that made me cry,just knowing my babies going to pass.But he made sure that she's not in pain& she's so happy to be alive. I cant tell you the difference this vet & the staff there made for our last days with our dog. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. And I will be firevergrateful. I had to write a review because of all the bad reviews this great vet is getting. I take all my animals here, and it is not a close drive either. Their prices are VERY reasonable compared to other places and they truly care about the animals, not the money! They now have several vets that work at the clinic. I have had experience with 3 (all of them had great bed side manners). I recently took my two adult dogs in for their annual wellness checks and vaccines. We had no real medical concerns, except for one thing with my Golden. The vet took her time to explain the possible condition he may have, gave her recommendations, and even sent me a very informational article the day after our visit. Furthermore, I realized that they overcharged me for the two visits (not waiving the exam fee since we got just vaccines). They cleared it up right away, and issued a refund to my credit card, and they were very helpful and apologetic the whole time! One of my dogs also had to have stitches about 6 months ago. All other places quoted upwards to $900 for his wound to be stitched. Mich Street charged me only $199 for the whole procedure, and they even called to check on him the day after! The ONLY complaint I have about this clinic is the long waits for check ups (which is completely understandable and NOT as long as FACE), and the fact there is no public bathroom (long waits make for a full bladder! LOL!).

You might have to wait a little bit but they are very efficient for the amount of pets they help in a days time. I highly recommend them to everyone! As for having your animal spayed or neutered I'm not sure really I guess I feel I could have been explained to what all her shave spots were and what to possibly expect. I also feel I could have been told of any negative scenarios that could happen, where her micro chip is at and how she may act the first week.

I took my 8 year old kitty to this place today. The wait time is worth the amazing care. 2 hours in and one Netflix movie later I'm walking out with a medicated cat, antibiotics and a follow up in a few weeks to fix his issues. This place is cheap. I do mean cheap. 50 bucks for all the services provided today was way less than I could ever expect. The vet doctor was quick, right to the point and respectful. We have been going here for years. Last year just before Christmas eve I had to put my Belgian melanois down due to cancer. She could barley walk and after she made it from the car into the back she could no longer walk. The staff was very compassionate as I held my baby and gave me time to say goodbye. Fast forward to June and our family adopted a rescue pup named Toad. He is extremely timid but they are patient and gentle with him as well. Yes there is a lot of waiting involved but that cuts down on costs. We are headed back there this week to finish up a treatment. No the neighborhood or the building are gonna win any beauty awards but it's the care and service that counts! Besides have Jed some great conversations in the waiting room!

Excellent care at an unbeatable price! All staff were pleasant to me and treated my dog well. I did however witness a man being rude to one of the front office employees. I saw the whole interaction start to finish and she was never mean to him. I was very impressed by how one of the vets handled it. She said in a calm voice "Sir there is no reason to be rude to the staff." After that he calmed down and was nicer when he left. I personally am impressed by a doctor who will defend the staff. People who work with the public often get berated by someone who is taking their bad day out on them, but very few employers stand up for their staff.

The vet Dr Johnson is very nice to you and VERY GOOD WITH MY ANIMALS. I have been taking my animals to him for many years now, even before he had his own office. The office staff is also very nice (especially Carrie Ann) she is very nice and help to me because I have a hearing problem, she speaks louder to me so I can hear. We Michigan Street veterinary clinic is THE most affordable clinic I have ever experienced! How’s the mom tube for dogs, I have to make sure I use my resources wisely. A few weeks ago after an emergency situation that landed me and my dog Tucker at an emergency veterinary clinic, I was astounded at the cost and the way treatment was decided according to what I could afford. In this emergency situation all I could think about was helping my dog to feel better, their plan for my dog and bought a price list of services that they wanted to provide from x-rays to ultrasounds to medications to IV fluids. Their cost estimate was $735! I left with Tucker in my hands, and I was in tears, after having spent $200 on the exam and two pain medications.I was referred to Michigan Street veterinary clinic the next day. It’s not a fancy clinic, and it takes a lot of patience since they do not except appointments, but I learned that my tucker had no broken bones, no internal bleeding and simply needed an anti-inflammatory medication and lots of rest! I left there feeling reassured that Tucker would recover fully, and I spent $153 on multiple x-rays, the medication, and the exam! The ER Vet had me thinking that I would need to put my dog down because I couldn’t afford to care for him, however that was not the case! Michigan Street veterinary clinic made this emergency situation completely affordable and my dog is now home resting and recovering ! I would visit them again in a heart beat and will share my experience with everyone! I plan to bring all four dogs in for vaccinations and will consider them my veterinary of choice! My husband and I have a regular vet we use for our 3 dogs. However, because of the Pandemic, he is the only vet working at Crestview animal hospital. Also they are having to schedule sometimes 2 to 3 weeks out. But no matter how closely you 👀 watch them, fur babies will find a way to make a mess or get hurt. My friend and neighbor Carol Begley told me about the West Michigan Vet 🏥 clinic. So I had to take my Chihuahua to be seen because he fell off of a footstool. The lady tech and the lady vet were so gentle to him, Frankie never growled at either of them!! That's miracle of it's own. I told both of them of the life he had to endure before I adopted him. He had been physically abused, and trusted no one even me( it took a year) for him to even trust me, so when he didn't show his teeth I knew he was in the right hands. The vet discussed what happened and what I wanted done. Lady Vet( sorry Im horrible with names)lady vet told me what she thought he should be done then she said I could pick what I wanted done or pick none, pay the 30 dollar exam fee and take him home. West Michigan is up front with their prices for services they do. With the Pandemic though right now you want to get there VERY EARLY because they open at 9am but you have to stand in line to sign in. People will start to line up to sign in about 7:30am NO IT'S NO JOKE!!! The vet gave me a list of what both of us thought Frankie needed. Lady vet even went so far as to print out the treatment plan like what we decided on. Each of the treatments were priced individually so I could decide if I could afford it or not. I told her I needed to call my husband and let him know what was happening and discuss this with my husband, the lady vet left the room so I could have privacy. I called, we discussed, lady vet came back and I told her from the list what I had decided on. Lady Vet also had discussed what would be done for that price. Fast forward Frankie had sprained paw and had aggravated the Nerve Damage the been done in the abusive situation he had been in. But lady explained what he could and couldn't do at home, also 2 meds, and she would call with the results of blood work. I couldn't believe just 30 dollars for exam, they have very good prices, they are up front with everything, there are NO SCHEDULED Appointments, they're very knowledgeable, they let you decide what treatment you want and afford. I would recommend the West Michigan Veteran Clinic they also have a Facebook Page. Believe me I took Frankie to Noah's Emergency Hospital on Crawfordsviles road. I am not Saying They were bad, however when you are placed in a exam room and it takes so long like 2 hours with NOBODY coming to the room. But they were having more people coming in. Plus I explained frankie's previous abusive situation, and the injuries this poor dog had suffered already and I wanted X-Rays due to his ribs having been broken before and not taken care of properly. Noah's did no X-rays like I asked. If you decide to use the West Michigan Vet Clinic. I don't think you will regret it.( GET THERE EARLY!!)

I have taken my pets here for years. It is inexpensive, the staff is friendly and kind, and if you arrive early when walk-in hours begin, you'll get in quickly. I've had a cat undergo surgery here ($80 total), gotten a heartworm test and a year of heartworm meds ($80 total), and brought my dog in for her teeth to be cleaned (~$250 total for the whole procedure). It's great for people on a budget and I've had the vet call me after an appointment to follow up with more information so I could care for my kitty. I recommend this place to anyone who is shocked by really pricey vet bills at other places.

This clinic is very helpful. My feline friends have been getting their vaccinations and flea/tick treatment from this facility for at least the last three years. The facility has a spacious waiting area so that the animals are never too close to each other if they begin to get a bit anxious or feisty. The service is very quick after the initial waiting time. Sometimes I can be in and out in less than thirty minutes, other times it takes a couple hours; but this is to be expected during designated walk-in hours when it's "first come first serve". I will continue to use West Michigan Street Veterinary Clinic for my pets, and if there is an issue they can't resolve, I trust that they will point me in the right direction of another facility that can.

As patients are seen on a board they are marked off. I saw a lot of people asking where were they on the list. It slowed the girl taking payments and putting names down.

Due to finances, we were unable to euthanize our large boxer at his regular office. After making several phone calls, we chose to come here. The staff was absolutely amazing with both us and our dog. We were able to skip the waiting room, they had a room set up for us with a blanket on the floor, treats for him, and tissues for us. We were able to be right next to him during the process, and the vet was very supportive and kind. I can't say enough good things about this vet. Awesome experience, awesome staff, thank you all!

My 16 year old dog needed surgery for a large mass on her leg. I don’t live in the Indianapolis area and the vets in my area wanted an outrageous amount of money to have this done. They also wanted well over 100 dollars just to examine her. I was worried I was going to have to put my girl to sleep simply because I did not have the kind of money needed for the surgery. Someone I know referred me to West Michigan. I called them and was very pleased to find out the price for the exam. Even with the gas money it would take to drive there, it was still a lot less than what they were asking at my home vet’s office. After our first visit, I was given the estimate for surgery and it was only half the cost of surgery here. In fact it was less than half the cost!! I was able to get her surgery and she is doing great! The staff was very friendly, and explained everything I needed to know during this process. Her leg looks great, even with the stitches and she is already feeling better. She is back to walking around on her own, other than a slight limp which will go away once she’s fully recovered. She seems happier than she has in several months since the growth first showed up on her leg. Thanks to West Michigan’s affordability and expert staff, I was able to keep from making a decision I didn’t want to make.

These office and medical staff are absolutely incredible (and I'm not just saying that because they laugh at my jokes). Even when I've seen other customers being loud and rude to the staff, they always kept a smile on - even when it would have been easier to snap back. There's one in particular (forgot her name) she has a very pleasant, welcoming smile; but she knows how to firmly - yet politely - keep control of her waiting room with over-anxious pet owners. The doctor talks to our dogs (we have two shepherds) like a pediatrician would talk to a child (He doesn't really say much to our three cats, but they probably wouldn't listen anyway). He genuinely cares about the well-being of our fur-children and my wife and I couldn't be happier.

Updated review: this is the most affordable vet clinic for vaccinations, by literally hundreds of dollars. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that they don't do appointments, so there's usually about an hour wait to be seen. Not a big deal, just plan to be there for a while. Dr. Haney is very caring, knowledgeable, and sweet! Both of our dogs loved her. Dr. Haney was very informative and helpful with recommendations for our senior pomeranian. She even won over our pug who is generally anxious at the vet. They were even able to trim her nails, which is a miracle! For yearly checkup, vaccines, heartworm testing, flea/heartworm/tick preventative for two dogs under 20 lbs, and one nail trim we paid $162. Including our time in the exam room, we were there for approximately 1.5 hours.

I took my kitten Joseph here because he was having peeing issues West Michigan street Veterinary did everything they possibly could for my baby. Even though I ended up having to euthanize him due to him getting in worse condition before surgery. The staff was extremely friendly and made me feel more at ease. They did things that they did not have to do like give me prints of his feet and face. Even cut a piece of his hair for me. I know that this vet truely does their job out of their love for the animals and not for the money like some places. My go to recommended clinic in indy. Prices are much lower than the boutique small vets. Its a walk in clinic, with lower prices during a pandemic. Of course the lines and wait are long, But so is the starbucks line, and pretty much any other type of line ive had to wait in since the mask mandate and social distancing requirements. Bring your pets on your day off, get there early and bring something to entertain yourself while you wait. Be patient and kind to the staff and theyll be patient and kind back. Treat them with attitude or disrespect and expect it back. This clinic works hard to take care of your pets and they can get overwhelmed with the pace and people, but they always continue to do a great job for great price being in indianapolis. Be patient be kind.

I have been taking my large breed dog here for a few years when he gets sick or needs shots etc. They are a very busy clinic, but are always very kind to me and my pet. They see injured animals first, which is really nice because if you find yourself in an emergency situation with your pet you know that they will be taken care of right away. We had to go in today because my dog was hit by a car, they took their time and assessed him, took xrays and blood work, and were so gentle with him. The vet tech even took the time out of her day to address my very young daughter's concerns about her stuffed toy cat's paw being scratched, and put a little cast with a heart on it. You cannot beat this type of customer service!! They made a situation that could have been very traumatic for a child, an animal, and an animal owner and turned it into a calm and comfortable experience.They went above and beyond and I am so thankful to have a place that is affordable and high quality. They even have a little play area for small children in the waiting room. My dog turned out to be ok, just very very sore. And my bill was very affordable. 5 stars. If it were possible to give more I would.

So happy with our first visit to Michigan Street Clinic. There is a wait time, but once I went back I understood why! We were taken to a room and seen by the vets assistant. Dr. Johnson and the other vets provide honest and excellent care at a fraction of the cost of other vet clinics. we have also been to the VCA and Michigan Road Animal hospital and felt that they were really taking advantage of us. My wife and I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. Without West Michigan, it would be much more difficult to afford to take good our animal family. Important note is that they do not take appointments, and have walk in hours instead. Get there a little before opening hours to get seen more quickly.

This place is a you get what you pay for. They really low priced on meds. I took our new puppy for a wellness check and get some antibiotics for her upper respiratory infection . Paid twenty dollars. They made her enter through the back door because she came from a shelter and most pets adopted out of shelters are prone to getting upper respiratory infections. She entered through the back so she couldn't get other dogs in the lobby sick as well. The staff are very lacking in customer service and they he doctor seemed like he was over worked and impersonal. He assessed and heard her breathing then looked at her paperwork. Then left the room. The next person came in with her meds and said twenty dollars is what you pay today. For the price I got what I needed for her health. Would have liked to talk with someone about how to assist her behavior at home with our other dog. I will not be bring her back to this clinic. I plan to stay with Noah's animal hospital on millersville road. At least there they are willing to answer any questions that you might have.

I have used this vet several times. Both times they were super helpful and very complete in their examinations. This time my Bo had pale gums and tongue. They ran tests and all were negative. They even ran tests for free. Yes it still cost about $300 in total but we found out my Bo has hypothyroidism which if not found could have been deadly. I think everyone there has always been very helpful. Reading some of these reviews and you know not everyone has good days all the time and sometimes with clinics being the way they are and the amount of people in and out I don't think I would be pleasant all the time but they have always been good to me and I really appreciate everything they do for us!

I have 2 dogs and this place make me very happy that now if they are sick I can take them to a Dr. I can afford. I have always felt bad that I was not able to take them to a vet. I took them to a vet and it cost over 500. Dollars for for their basic needs. The vet couldn't tell me what my dog Tipper knots on his body was. She wanted over a hundred dollars more to do blood work. So I took him to Dr Johnson with one look it was cancer and his skin problem was food allergies. It cost me 25 Dollars. Thank Dr Johnson for taking care of my dogs. Shots and everything and 3 months supply of flea meds was just a little over 300 Dollars for both dogs.

Great affordable clinic but they NEVER answer the phone. Like EVER. The only way to get in contact with anyone is by driving up there. What is the point in having receptionist that don’t answer the phone?? I took my dog in for some poop samples and never received a call back about the results. I also came in for an ear infection and it seemed like the doctor just gave me any type of medicine. She just assumed what type of ear infection it was without actually trying to get an ear sample from my dog (he is difficult) but it’s been 2 weeks and the medicine hasn’t worked.

They told us that it was best to put her down. They were very kind and even said a prayer as they put her down. They sent us a card saying they were very sorry for our loss. I love this place ! I strated bringing my second bully here when he was just a puppy he loves the staff doctors new doggys and everybody between there. He loves this place and knows as soon as we turn on the street to the vet lol he begans to cry and pace and when bringing him in he drags you to the door.. They are so nice understanding and friendly .. They dont look at him like he is this dangerous beast they talk to him like hes their pet .. They make sure everytime everything is okay and answer any question i have .. My 1st pit mix was already use too a different vet so i didnt switch him until they went under new management when i did it was like he had went there forever at 10 he was diagnosed with blood cancer after his spleen was removed everybody involved in his surgery and care treatment him with absolute love they talked to him like he was a human and treated him so kind and gentle they talked us through what the outcome was and helped keep him comfrontable until he was ready to go in march 2019 @ 3am we lost him at home before they opened and when they was told of his passing a few of them hugged us and even cried along with us i will forever be thankful of them and my love for all the people at this place has grown stronger

The front desk staff very rude, ladies not friendly at all, not empathetic to our problems. I believe that the first person you see in an office, should be friendly and with a good attitude, but I don't even feel welcome when I walk in to your clinic. Do you think that someone yelling "people with barking dogs out" is a polite way to ask people to wait in their cars with their dogs until they are called?

We had to get in asap after we adopted our shelter dog, Bella. She had what is called kennel cough and had been taking medicine while in the shelter but had not sent any home with her. We also found out she had not had a rabies shot yet. So though the wait was excruciatingly long, and I hope this can be rectified somehow, we are very pleased with the staff and all the kind people we came in contact with while there. Bella is beautiful and happy. No more cough either! I highly recommend this clinic.

If ur willing to wait for hours, it's ok. The prices are fairly cheap compared to other vetenarians. But the wait is brutal! Especially on mondays, fridays and sat. Expect to be there for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours. And that's if u get there first thing in the morning. There's usually a line an hour before they even open up. I got there at 8:30 on Monday and there were 20 people in line at that time. They only open at 9. My advice, go during Tues thru Thursdays. And get there by 8am or earlier. It's walk in only so the sooner u get in, the sooner u get out. My advice... BE THERE BY 7-7:30am or u will be waiting all day long!

This place is amazing. Brought my dog there for a check up, but really just needed his prescription eye drops filled because the ophthalmologist that originally prescribed them wanted to charge me $140 check up fee to refill the prescription. The vet refilled it no questions asked and didn't try to nickel and dime me. He did recommend dental cleaning with possible tooth distractions, which had been suggested by another vet, but I couldn't afford it at the time. Here it was half the cost including meds, distractions, and all. Best yet, they even called the next day to see how he was doing. Would recommend this place to anyone, especially if you're sick of vets trying to sell you unnecessary services.

I have a pit bull who is a big baby but he hates shots.. they are ALWAYS very patient with him and tell me what I need to do to distract him while he is getting his vaccinations. He was a rescue and we went through 4 vets before I found this amazing clinic and the vet is hands down the best. He cured my baby of his heart worms when I first got him.. Man I could not say enough about this place they gave us everything we needed to get a dog through Parvovirus alive and for less than half the price we just had to prove our situation to them and they didnt hesitate to discount the treatment. We had to administer from home but CruZ pulled straight through was better a week later like nothing ever happened. Sometimes it has been a long wait but the prices are reasonable. The doctors seem knowledgable, the back staff and front desk staff have been very nice to me. Just come early so you do not have to wait as long. I have not experienced any problems and have been four times over the past two years.

Those that complain about the prices do not understand the blood, sweat, and tears shed behind the scenes to keep them so low. Part of that is the volume. Yes, you will wait to be seen. You can pay with time or money. But what the staff at west mich sacrifices to ensure that all patients get the care they need will never be fully appreciated or respected. Priceless professional services! Dr. Haney is brilliant, caring and knowledgeable. My cat Peanuts is a former homeless feline that lived on the streets whereas she became very hostile and hard to handle. Peanuts loves Dr. Haney and all of the vet. Techs/assistants. Out of the lower-cost alternatives for pet care in Indianapolis, I prefer the West Michigan Street clinic because the facility is well-maintained and the staff is always courteous and professional, though I will say to make sure that they are administering the vaccinations that you requested (last year, I asked for a 3-year rabies vaccine but only got the 1-year). Also, wait times don't seem to be as bad as some of the other first come, first serve clinics.

My cat Butters became sick with IBD. I took her into West Michigan Street Veterinary Clinic and was seen by Dr Haney. First of all Dr Haney is so nice and was very concerned about Butter, she showed so much compassion and treated Butter like her own. After X-ray ultrasound and meds my Butter is Healthy! Everyone there is so very nice. Prices are good the facilities are clean. I give them 5 stars! I have my compassion pet Butter back and life is good.

This full-service veterinary clinic is a god-send to the Indianapolis community. Prior to this clinic opening, there was nothing available for low-income pet owners wanting to provide decent medical care for their pets. I believe that's exactly why this clinic opened: to fill a huge need in the community. Clearly, this clinic was not opened as a money-making endeavor. Their prices are a fraction of all the other full-service vet clinics. Is the wait a little longer? Sure, but that's the trade-off for very low-cost and high-quality vet care. The owner, Dr Johnson, is a really good, experienced vet. He provides quality care without the frills. I also really like Dr Landau. If people want immediate care and a vet who coddles them, they should go to a higher-cost, higher-frills clinic. This is a high-volume clinic. They are helping as many animals as they can each day. They don't have large amounts of time to devote to each client. That is also the trade-off you make for very low-cost and quality care. My animal welfare group FIDO refers our low-income clients to this clinic all the time. Prior to this clinic opening, there were no options for them. Also, the times that I have brought rescue dogs from FIDO to this clinic, they provided great care and good information, at an extremely low cost. Many of our FIDO dogs were horribly neglected and this clinic provided good, compassionate medical care. I cannot sing their praises highly enough.

We took are chihuahua mix, Trixie and our pomeranian, Simba her when they both were sick. Trixie was vomiting and running a fever after getting into some grapes. They gave her a shot for nausea, sent home nausea medication, an antibiotic for an ear infection, an anti-inflammatory and gave us prescription food (which was no charge) and they even gave us more when we ran out of the first food they gave us. Simba was diagnosed with Callaposing Trachea Syndrome, which is very common in older pomeranians, he was given a prescription for cough medication. The vet we saw was amazing. He even called us the next day, which was a Sunday, to check on Trixie. After all they did for us the bill was around $100. The only drawback at this clinic is that it's a walk-in clinic only and the wait time can be very long. But when our dogs need to go back to the vet we will defi6go to this clinic. I wish I could give them a rating higher than a 5.

the doctor was very nice but the male nurse seemed like he had a real attitude problem when he called me outside to come in and then he almost gave my dog a double dewormer medicine and didn't say sorry my bad or nothing and then the lady told me that I had to give him the liquid medicine and his mouth because she just got done dealing with the dog with parvo and then 5 minutes later she was back in the room and had her hands in his mouth!

What I love about this place they do walk in i tired other clinics but they were all a month of wait for appointments and I wanted my fur baby to have her shots right away after I got her .. this place is super professional all the workers were super Sweet just be ready for that long wait they see more than 100 patients everyday so really busy I waited 2.5 hours but worth everything knowing my fur baby will be ok with her all her shots ❤️
