We had our boy neutered and a nail trim on Wednesday Feb 23rd, 2022. This place is amazing!!!! Great communication from beginning to end! Easy and convenient drop off and pick up! He is healing great! Highly recommended!

This place is the Best!!! They were very throw. They noticed what was wrong with my Dog Marcos eyes and took care of it. He got Neutered,micro chipped, complementary nails clipped. They checked in with me and let me know how Marco was doing. The Vet that performed his neutering surgery was awesome the incision was small and nicely done they sent him home with very specific instructions an pain meds. I definitely recommended this place!!!

Had our dog neutered here. The experience was very smooth, from the beginning the communication was excellent on what to expect of the procedure and process. The drop off went well, and the pick up took a bit longer than expected. But there were no complications and the healing process went as expected. Took my first dog here, they let me make an appointment a few months out, everything was great, she was spayed, microchipped and had her vaccines for a fair price. I’ve been trying to take our new dog here and I can’t get an appointment, I’ve been trying for months.

We came here for spaying our cats. During the pandemic this clinic only open for spay and neutered only. All appointments and payments were made online. We only met the staff during drop off and pick up.

The staff was very friendly and on time. They made sure if i had concerns dropping my dog off they were resolved before I left. They were on time for pick up as well. Also they made sure everything was explained and i had no questions before we left. I have had other animals go here as well and its always a great experience. I actually like the new way of doing things from your car a lot better than being able to go inside. I feel that their procedure works great.

Kelly has been nothing but responsive and courteous to my inquires. I had my dog neutered here on Wednesday, and had a couple of questions. Kelly has been informative, caring, and timely in her response. Between the drop off and pick up, which was great, to the aftercare of our pup, I would highly recommend them. PLEASE PLEASE donate, help, use their services, tip well. great place, awesome lovely people. they help so many doggies and families on a tight budget. you can tell that their employees truly care for our loved ones. we have taken both our mini schnauzers. Our puppies are pretty nervous and suffer anxiety when separated, they staff have been so patient and helpful with us. I fully recommend trust their services and prices.

We put an application on Saturday for a beautiful young doggy name Louanne and Julie called me on Monday with some information and to schedule our day to meet on Saturday morning, I am so excited that I will get my baby on that day. I saved so much money by taking my dog here. I was able to get her microchipped, vaccinated and checked over. The staff were quick and efficient. Please note, that the address that pops up here is not the correct address for the vaccine clinic. The vaccine clinic is on Michigan Avenue. Just wanted to throw that out there to try and help someone else. I drove to the wrong place at first.

This place was clean, inexpensive and they took good care of my dog. They made sure she had plenty of pain meds after her surgery and that we knew what to look for if she had any post-op issues. They did her surgery, gave her all the shots she needed, gave her a check up and trimmed up her nails all for $90. It was well worth the money spent.

This place is amazing. You can tell that the people here really care about the animals and that they do this out of love. I took my dog here to get spayed a year ago and was so impressed with their care that I bring her back for vaccinations and other services. You can also get heartworm and other medications for cheaper than stores. Highly recommend.

I took both of my dogs there to be spayed and neutered. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cost for both procedures was a relief from the normal vet bills. My dogs had to problems and their stitches healed without a problem. I will definitely use them again if my husband lets me get another dog :)

Came it to adopt a dog for my family, including our previously adopted dog Milo. The staff were all very helpful in the process; which was not complicated at all. Received our pet which was spayed and vaccinated along with a free month of insurance and good advice as well. Would advise anyone considering giving a pet a a better life to do the same. Kudos, IHS.

Surgery went well and the staff were great with the exception of the front desk lady on April 24th who was borderline rude to people. Wasn't overly friendly but the way she talked to people was somewhat rude. Otherwise it was a great experience and our dog is doing well

Super low prices for vaccines and spay/neuter (even on dog leashes, toys, beds, etc too!) and very friendly staff. I will warn you, it is CRAZY at spay/neuter drop off..I recommend getting there plenty early in the morning, I got there at 7:20 and was still there for an hour, I'd say the first person there got out within 20min though. Pick up is also busy but everyone lines up coming in so it's a bit more organized, got there 10min early again and still about 10 ppl in front of me. Go early if you want quicker drop offs/ pick ups! And PLEASE leave your dog in the car initially, they only have dogs brought in as they're getting ready to take them back, otherwise there'd be like 30 dogs in the tiny waiting area and the barking..oy ;) But like I said, the friendliness of everyone there made me feel really comfortable leaving my dog there. The front desk guy was so swamped keeping things organized and rolling by himself, and was still friendly enough to smile/ answer my questions. I would go insane working in such a chaotic environment every day, so major props and bless this place for making vaccines and spay/neuter affordable!

The IndyHumane Animal Welfare center does all the surgeries for my cat organization. They have always gone above and beyond for me and for my cats. They are a great team of people providing an amazing service for rescues and animal owners! I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

I took my 2 year old pit bull mix toget fixed. They were having a special for the new year so I got him fixed and all of his shots for under $50, plus they do complimentary nail clipping for all dogs during the procedure, which I thought was a nice gesture especially for the price that I go everything. The staff was nice and thoughtful everytime I talked to any of them. They were professional and I would be happy to go back.

Only place I trust for shots and neutering. Wait reasonable and very clean exam rooms. Veterinarians are so much more experienced and cause pets zero stress and have never picked up viruses like the other "low cost" place . My dog was harshly handled and not cleaned up at the other "low cost" clinic.

The Indy Humane Animal Welfare Center is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! I took our 9 1/2 year old female Cane Corso in for treatment and surgery after finding out she had a open pyometra uterus infection. She needed immediate surgery, but her normal veterinarian wanted to charge us $2000.00!!! My husband's friend referred us to this clinic and we are forever grateful!!! The service, support, expertise and professionalism were all TOP NOTCH!!! I walked in on Saturday January 19th and was lucky they were not extremely busy, due to bad weather! The receptionist was so helpful and understanding. She had the doctor come out and talk with me immediately. The doctor was AWESOME and decided the surgery needed to be done the same day, due to the infection being very harmful to our dog. The doctor answered all of my questions and reassured me that she would take good care of our beloved family member! Even the Assistant who took her back, reassured me our dog was in good hands with a GREAT Veterinarian Doctor! A couple of hours later they called to let me know everything went very well and I could pick up our dog. They even followed up with me via email, after I got home and had a question. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate the AFFORDABLE & EXCEPTIONAL Veterinarian care we received at Indy Humane Animal Welfare Center!!! We were charged $350, which was a fraction of the cost we would have paid at our regular Veterinarian! Needless to say, we have found a new Veterinarian and will be more than willing to make donations to this low cost clinic!!! They are all TRUE pet angels working here!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!! Sophia is resting well and on her way to a full recovery!

Please go to the Indy humane society website for answers to your questions. It's that simple. If you have questions then please ask them. Call them, email them, or go in person, they won't judge. They get types of people and all types of people is what it takes to make this world possible as long as we try to better it. If we can't now then do good by our fellow creatures in the future, humans, cats, dogs, snakes, everything. Don't get false information. They will gladly answer your questions. They love animals, do the right thing. I've seen so many questions asked that are falsely informed but, are answered on their website.

I've used them several times for my personal dog's and fosters. They've always done a good job. You need to make sure your pet's are current on their flea meds or you'll probably be taking some fleas home with you. The clinic cannot help that a lot of people can't grasp using flea preventative.

Affordable vaccinations but the wait can be long. I wish I'd brought ear plugs when seven dogs were barking in a cold, linoleum room! They don't offer veterinarian services so don't take your sick or injured pet there. But you can buy flea, heartworm, etc meds.

Also houses a branch of Indy Feral. Low prices for pet vaccinations. Never a long wait. Odd thing is if you have a nervous pet make sure you muzzle them before stepping inside. They have an odd rule of either showing up with a muzzled pet or coming back later. They won't allow you to muzzle them onsite. Only took once though... Other than that this place is great.

Strange hours but you can go there and get the chewable dog flea medicine one month at a time if you go to the first time to get it you have to take your dog so they can weigh it so it don't get overdosed check online for the hours first because they're not a veterinarian clinic

If you can't afford to get your pet spayed or neutered this is the place to go. However if your pet has a complication from the surgery they are not very responsive. My cat would not leave her stitches alone and I ended up having to take her to my regular vet.

This is the best place for low cost vaccines and spay/neuter. There is not currently a medical clinic here, so if your animal is injured, this is not the place to go. But if you need vaccines or to have your pet fixed, this is the best low cost place to go!
