We had an emergency injury situation with our dog. I spoke with a staff member (Whitney) to see if he could be seen on short notice. She was so sweet and offered recommendations on how to remedy the situation until he could be seen. Thankfully they were able to get him in for an appointment within 20 minutes of our call even though he had not been seen there before. Our dog received great care from the team at Freeland Animal Hospital. Dr. Francis and the rest of the team were thorough and transparent when explaining procedure, price, and after care. They were so kind, tender, and loving with our boy. They answered all of our questions - even the ones that were not related to his injury. Whitney followed up the next day to see how our dog was doing and answered all of my follow up questions. The staff expressed such concern and provided comfort for our family during a high stress situation. The facility is organized and clean and the prices for services are fair. I highly recommend FAH!

Both our lab mix (50 lbs) and pitty (70lbs) love FAH! We love the staff and every Dr. we’ve seen. They are so helpful with our scaredy-cat-pup and they’ve helped her to be a little less nervous. Our big boy LOVES them all and is glad to be there. Usually, we see Dr. Arnold and she’s amazing. She has a lovely manner and communicates well. All of the staff, vets included, seem to really love what they’re doing, it shows, and I like that a lot. We have recommended FAH to any friends and family and will continue to do so! ♥️🐾🌞

Could not be more pleased with our experience at Freeland! We are first time puppy parents, so we didn't know what to expect and definitely had lots of questions. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. You can see their true love of animals in all the interactions. Whitney checked us in and made us feel right at home. Corey was fantastic! She was a wealth of knowledge and advice. She also made Izzy feel so safe and comfortable during her visit. Dr. Freeland was wonderful as well, he answered all our questions and customized the vaccine spacing for what would be best for our pup's size and age. I cannot recommend Freeland Animal Hospital highly enough! Izzy was as happy and smiling on the way out as she was when we walked in!

My daughter and I started out at Post Pet Hospital, and we LOVED Dr. Grosser and staff. They gave our Jasper the BEST care EVER. I dont typically write reviews, but I love Freeland Animal Hospital, my pup buddy french bulldog & i always have a peace of mind; feel more confident leaving that my baby boy is going to be ok. My experience has been phenominal i really like how friendly and caring there staff is starting from the front staff to the back staff. Clean facilities. My little guy has specific diet needs and they had everything he needed.The veterinarian is very professional follows up with me and really listen's to my puppys situation i have been coming here going on 2yrs. Starting with my first doggy chunky. I wouldnt have it any other way. They try to be reasonably priced as well, but they can be expensive at times they understand how expensive animals can be. I always try to ask for estimates before the exam, which is a huge relief for me as well that they could give me that peace of mind. I did pay over $250 for my puppies #1 pup plan visit, where at Noahs is $119 i believe. Granted i could go anywhere i want but i do believe the quality of care is really good i look at it as the value of quality of life. I do wish they could work with there clients on payment plans or credit or discounts on expensive situation no one has $300+ to pay just like that. I enjoy the app and using the features. Especially reward store. Overall, i am so happy and i wouldnt have it any other way. Thank you Dr. Freeland , & Dr. Towner.

However, the prices have gone up. I had 2 cats I took one here and one to Giest. Same problem, same tests. Freeland was over $500 (I actually cried when I got the bill) and Giest was just over $250. I wrote Freeland and told them how much of a hardship it that is for average ppl. They never wrote back...BTW both cats diagnosed with food allergies.

On the negative side, it's always a $300 + bill per visit. I find myself spending more $s on my pets than myself. Love my dog and cat as everyone does, but I don't think I'll replace them when they go to doggy and kitty heaven..too expensive.

Went to Dr Freeland's office for the first time, I wish I would have found them sooner! decided to go there due to the positive reviews, I saw why there were so many positive reviews! even though we went during this pandemic, pick up of my kitten was quick and simple, Dr Freeland contacted us himself about the care needed for our kitten, staff was very polite, I did see where someone had said they were too expensive, from my experience I would have to say that is not true! very reasonable! I would give them a rating higher than 5 star if I could, this is the ONLY vet I will be using from now on, I highly recommend them!

I was so nervous when my dog had to have surgery to get a couple of masses removed. Dr. Freeland, Dr. Premo, and staff took great care of her. Immediately after finishing surgery, Dr. Freeland gave me a call and let me know she was doing well and that the surgery went even better than expected. Riley seemed fine after surgery, happy and not in any noticable pain. She was also not very groggy like she has been after getting teeth cleaned at another vet. I highly recommend this animal hospital, and trust the doctors and staff who take care of our fur babies.

We've been going there for years, and we love it. Dr. Freeland and his staff are always friendly, caring and professional. Our pets have received excellent care and grooming, and the facilities are clean and first rate. There have been a couple of times (when we needed last minute grooming or kennel) we took our dogs elsewhere, and we noticed how much better Freeland's was. This is a wonderful place to bring your pet. The veterinarians are knowledgeable, answer all my questions, and very reassuring when I need it. The staff is amazing! We have taken our dog there since we adopted him 5 years ago. They have done a great job taking care of him since the first visit. He doesn’t exactly love the exam, but is always excited before/after the visit. Our dog has developed some allergies over the past few years and Dr. Freeland has given advice without breaking the bank on treatment. Sam at the front desk is fantastic, it’s nice to walk in to such a welcoming person each time we visit.

My 14 year old cat has only known one vet and he recently retired from Post Pet Hospital. Luckily the best of his staff are now at Freeland so I knew Sasha would be well cared for. Dr. Premo exceeded my expectations during this time when face-to-face visits are not allowed. She called within 10 minutes to discuss Sasha's background and tests she'd like to run. Within 30 minutes she called back with test results and her suggestion for treatment moving forward. She was patient with questions and explained things thoroughly. Thanks to Dr. Premo, Debby and Mandy for making Sasha's first visit a positive experience.

Twice this office has squeezed me in on an emergency when my regular vet was out of town. Most recently, I called my vet for a refill of my geriatric dog‘s medicine. My vet’s office set up an appointment for me at Freeland first thing Saturday morning, so the prescription could be refilled! Within a few minutes, he’d been seen by the doctor and we were on our way. So pleased for the positive relationship between the two veterinary offices and the willingness to help the other’s clients!

We recently switched to Freeland Animal Hospital and we could not be happier! The vet we used to go to would be in the room for a minute and we would never see him again. I thought this was the norm until we came here. We initially brought the pups in for their annual exam and shots and Dr. Premo spent over 30 minutes with us. The most amazing vet in the business. He took care of my Buddy from 4 years till his last day at 14. The advice and choices of treatments he gave made everything simple. He even went as far as sending reminders when it was time for shot up updates, teeth cleaning, and medication tests. Dr. Freeland even came out to our home when it was time to let Buddy go, so he could be in a comfortable place. The staff is just as wonderful as he is. You can tell these people love what they do. Freeland Animal Hospital has been helping me take care of my cats since 2004. One was an insulin dependent diabetic. Willie lived to be 19 and did not die as a result of his diabetes. Dr. Freeland helped me to get him there. I am a critical care/cardiac nurse and recognize good care when it is there, and I have gotten excellent care here. I referred my son and daughter-in- law there with their pets as well. Loving care and good solid medicine is what I have seen there. The vet assistants are very good as well.

We have seen Dr Premo and Dr Freeland for our cat and dog, and every visit has been great! Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to swap anecdotes. The office visit prices are good (and they let you know ahead of time if they want to do something more expensive, like detailed blood labs). The cost of regular prescriptions through the office is a bit higher than some other nearby veterinarians, but they've partnered with a prescription-by-mail company that offers lower prices, so it's not a problem.

Nice people, but expensive, at my old veterinarian a "well" dog visit was expensive at $200+ for some yearly shots. At Freeland with some added blood work at was over $527. Ouch not going back.

The vet tech that assisted me at my appointment on Wednesday December 2, 2020 was very helpful! I was having issues with my phone and he kindly came out to my vehicle to retrieve my dog, Brick, for his appointment. He also brought him back out when the appointment was finished. The only thing I wasn't satisfied with was that I had pointed out a couple of spots on Brick that I wanted checked out and they were not checked out because that requires a doctor appointment and not just a vet tech appointment. So I would have to call to make another appointment in order to have the spots looked at. I was laid off in October of this year and don't have the funds to keep making appointments for every separate thing. Another thing is that Brick does not like riding in the car. He gets very anxious, shakes, cries, drools and is extremely stressed. The fewer times I have to load him up in the car the better it is for him. Other than that the visit was good.

I first went there for a second opinion on a potential life-ending diagnosis for my dog and, without going into details, she was around for another 5 years. I especially appreciated Dr. Freeland's willingness to "talk shop" spending the time to get into technical details, entertain other ideas, and discuss pros & cons of various options where other vets were often condescending, or didn't have time to really talk. The staff is friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and they offer good prices, modern web-services, reminders (that aren't pushy), and an overall great experience. Highest recommendation!

My rat terrier has to have all but 4 of her teeth pulled. They were pretty cheap considering how much work was done and they made everything very easy. I just had to drop the dog off in the morning and come back after she had recovered. The staff definitely show they care about your animals:)

I had a wonderful experience with Freeland. Everybody was very friendly and really seemed to care about my cat's wellbeing. The only problem I had was I was given a different price when I dropped off my cat. But when I picked her up they charged me the price they originally quoted. I think they were just confused. I have a long hair cat and they gave her a wonderful haircut. They will continue to be my vet.

My dad has taken all of our animals to Freeland for as long as I can remember. I recently had to say goodbye to my Akita, Moxie. When we arrived for our appt, we were immediately greeted and put in an exam room. I appreciated the privacy for such an emotional day. The procedure was fully explained and went seamlessly. I had time to say my goodbyes and the staff was very caring and respectful. The other benefit is the reasonable price. And it included her paw print, around $200 or so. Not too expensive or incredibly low, but right where it should be. I definitely recommend and when we have another fur baby, we'll definitely go back!

I had my 2 cats teeth cleaned. Dr. Freeland called me during the cleanings to inform me that my male cat had some decay occurring on 4 of his teeth. He was informative and suggested it was a good idea to go ahead and extract them, but left the decision to me. He was not pushy at all. We have rescued a number of stray cats over the years, or more likely they have rescued us! Each have had some issue: a bad wound, skinny or simply afraid. Freeland Animal Hospital has been wonderful treating our dear cats, gentle and caring. They cleaned up Conan and his carrier, and both the tech and the vet took time to get to know Conan and me. There was also no upselling, which I always appreciate. We had been seeing Noah's off 56th St, but since we moved a little north (and I was never that impressed with Noah's), we thought we would try a different vet. This is definitely our new vet.

We rate Dr. Leon Freeland and the Freeland Animal with the highest rating. Our long-haired dachsund, Buddy, is 8 years old. He has significant health problems within the last year. Over a year ago he developed Cushings Disease. Developed a slipped disc in his neck just before Christmas 2015, and developed diabetes. Dr. Freeland and the hospital staff have went above and beyond trying to regulate his diabetes and cushings disease. Dr. Freeland sought the advice of specialists when he needed to regarding his care and began with a cautious dose of insulin until he found the right dose to give him for his diabetes. Today, Buddy is very energetic and happy. Although he still has the Cushings and diabetes, the Freeland Animal Hospital has given him the right medication to give him a good quality of life. At the first of the year, Buddy was lethargic and just wanted to lay. Now he his happy, and ready to play. We appreciate Dr. Freeland's tenacity to not give up on our little Buddy and the courteous caring attitude of his staff. My husband and I recommend them to anyone needing a good vet.
