The wonderful staff here there for us on one of the very worse days of our lives and helped our family send Josie Marie off with dignity. They gave us all the time we needed with her and helped every step of the way. They even sent flowers. The professionalism and love they put into their fur patients is beyond incredible. We miss Josie dearly, but thanks to Binford Pet Wellness, our last memories or her were sad, but also very sweet. We will never forget this kindness.

Dr. Enk is absolutely fabulous- along with the very kind and caring vet tech I had. I recently moved to the area, so I searched on the internet for vets within the area. The Binford location seemed to have amazing reviews so I gave it a try! First off, the welcome sign outside was super adorable with all of the clients names on it- love it! The vet tech we had was so caring and attentive. Asking tons of questions and showing much concern! This was the first time I’ve been here, and Dr.Enk was very friendly and professional. She seemed very knowledgeable about cats, and gave me a couple different options to chose from as far as tests ran and prices. I got a call the next day, she went over all the results with me on the phone in detail. Turns out I have a healthy cat with an attitude problem lol.. She was able to give me sources to check out to enhance and evaluate my cats environment. All in all- VERY pleasant visit and I just wanted to recognize and thank the staff for being so kind, caring and attentive!

Pet Wellness Clinic is now our dog's primary vet. Our previous primary vet couldn't see our 10 year old dog for an emergency. Our dog couldn't stand up one morning. I called our previous primary vet on Friday and they said they couldn't see her until Monday and that would be a drop off. Our dog, Ellie was a patient at the other vet clinic (Daisy Lane) for 10+ years. The previous vet also saw our other pets. We've used them for 30 years. The other vet said they couldn't work Ellie her in. I called Pet Wellness Clinic (which is the vet for my daughter's dog) and they asked if I could be there in 30 minutes. Pet Wellness Clinic took a lot of time with us. We did not feel like we were rushed even though they worked us in at the last minute. They were was very compassionate. Ellie is doing better for now.

My cat had a bladder stone that was causing her a great deal of discomfort. Everywhere I called told me it would be weeks to months before they could operate. Binford had me in the next day and Piper was back in my care by the end of the day. She's recovering now but she's already back to her old sassy but lovable self. I can't overstate the relief and appreciation I feel that this was able to be scheduled and resolved so quickly.

Amazing! Decided it was time for a new vet and found this one close to work. I have a very large dog and a lot of times he overwhelms people, but it seemed like everyone was happy to see him and put up with his drama. Looking forward to working with them again!

I was impressed with my first experience with Binford Pet Wellness clinic ! I have a 105 pound pit bull ,he is a rescue dog and is ver nervous around new environments. He’s very difficult to deal with but the staff & Veteran were very friendly and patient with him. I recently just rescued another dog and we noticed she had worms ,we didn’t know her age and with her being a puppy we found roaming we figured she had no shots. I called and made an appointment she was seen the next day. We were greeted with a smile and all the staff showing puppy love. Our nurse was awesome he gave us so much information- Pet Prime is the way to go , paying for an exam plus medication can be costly so after being informed I’d actually save money ,my pet would have unlimited exams and rechecks including telemedicine I chose plan B -it was a no brainer!!!! Our Veterinarian was Awesome! We left with a peace of mind and a plethora of information! Highly recommended for your Fur Baby!!!

By far, this is the absolute #1 veterinarian. I have never experienced such care, quality, and organization from the boatloads of vets I've been to. I have been holding off on getting our 2.5lb chihuahua spayed because of her size. After not being pleased by our regular vets approach, I called Pet Wellness to see if they have any vets or confidence doing a spay and dental on our tiny creature. Not only did they sympathize with my concerns, but were happy to provide me info on the best vet for our pup. The new patient appointment was free and the vet handled my pup even better than me! Dr. Dechand is a miracle, an animal whisper, and a blessing. He obviously cares for not only me as a customer but absolutely looking into the best interests for my pup as the patient. They set me up with him because he does smaller animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, and more. I am so lucky and cannot stop raving about this clinic and Dr. Dechand. Their approach to patient care is the best quality without having to pay an insane amount. They are amazing on communication and information (I got a brochure for post-op care! My other pup who got spayed at our now old vet didn't even get that). I can't stop saying great things- they truly are phenomenal. They are not doing the bare minimum but also not pushing you to do too much. Their approach truly is in the best interest of the patient. Thank you!!! *Just recieved a Get Well card from them today (couple days after her surgery). They personally signed it....they are the best💕

I cannot say enough how much we now LOVE this clinic. They got our dog in as a new client the day after we called, they were AMAZING with him. Heidi was so patient with him during it all, along with the vet that saw him for his eye. We will definitely be signing up as long term clients to bring all our pets to them. Then, after his appointment they sent us a message to check in on him a few days later, which showed how much they care and how amazing they are.

Very nice staff but a bit on the pricey side. Shop around you may find a much lower price for what your pet needs ...at another local vet. I have 3 cats and 2 dogs, so price as well as quality care is a must for me. Still taking my animals to this vet. Staff is still attentive and friendly. They have several locations in the Indy area. Something to be aware of, that they do not disclose over the phone - they have Sunday hrs, but there is an additional $35 charge to come in on Sunday's.

I love this vet. I have a senior dog who’s a bully breed, and the whole staff is so sweet and understanding with him. He’s a tough patient for nail appointments and they always get it done with no complaints. I want to also say they have a pet plan where you get yearly heart worm and flea/tick, plus a discount on blood work and some other things. This also includes UNLIMITED exams. This is great for my senior dog who has a lot of tiny problems. I love that I never have to think “do I have money for an exam right now?” and I can take him in as soon as I see an issue. This is also great if he has an issue he has to come in repeatedly for - I’ve saved over $200 on exam fees in a few months because he had a persistent issue and needed to visit often. You can also use the plan at any of their many locations. The office is always clean and welcoming! We also had a nose infection issue last year and the vets were quick to recognize I could save time and money by going straight to a specialist and had wonderful recommendations. My family treats our dogs like family members and we all go to this office. Can’t say enough great things!

My 11 year old kitty Jessie had a horrible skin/ear infection. First time here and she quickly began to feel better (Within hours) after treatment in the office. She has been to other vets for the same condition and NONE were on top of it like Binford! Definitely recommend as staff and doc were very knowledgeable, comforting and called to check in on her. We found our vet!

We've gone to both the Binford clinic and the College Park clinic and they are both amazing. They got us in right away and responded by text and email when I made a request. We took our dog Murphy to the Binford clinic on Sunday, 6/19 because he had a limp. Based on past experiences at other same-day appt vets, I assumed we'd be there all afternoon. We were in and out in less than 1/2 hour. No x-ray needed, just some carprofen for the next few days. I can't express what a relief it was to have a good experience at the vet! I highly recommend the Wellness Clinics.

My little shihtzu hurt her hip very late Saturday night and I stayed up all night keeping her occupied. She was having massive leg ticks (like karate kicks) and seemed to be in pain. I called Sunday morning and they were able to get me in within 3 hours. After showing the video of her ticks the doctor knew what it was but still went above and beyond inspecting my baby to make sure it wasn’t anything more serious. They could have very easily upsold me into blood tests, X-rays and cat scans but didn’t. They gave instructions on her medicine schedule and when she should be feeling better and she’s already back to normal! I have my baby back and no more leg ticks! I’m extremely thankful

I searched all over the net for a good vet to take new new puppy to. Binford Pet Wellness Clinic had great reviews so I decided to give them a try. We walked up to the office where a sign with my puppy’s name (as well as others coming in that day) was there to greet us. Upon entering the receptionist was super friendly and welcomed my puppy and I and asked if we like anything (soda, etc). Going back into a room the wait wasn’t long at all before our appointment began. They loved my little girl and was so wonderful with her. My baby wasn’t nervous at all. They were super informative and made sure I had knowledge of everything pertaining to my new pup. They sent us home with goodies and a pretty pink bandana along with the comfort of knowing we found our new clinic to help us keep our pets in good health. Absolutely highly recommend!!

My sweet, people-loving calico kitty named Pearl was in recent need of a rabies vaccination to keep her updated. I chose to take her to Binford Pet Wellness Clinic and I'm so happy I did. Pearl and I couldn't have had a better experience. Veterinarian Jim Dechand and Veterinary nurse Amy were very caring and compassionate to Pearl. Anyone with eyes and ears could tell they love and enjoy what they do for a living. It's clear to me that they're both in the right occupation! My dog Etta had her first appointment this past Friday. The vet spent about 20 minutes all told with her, walked through her treatment plan with me (she's heartworm +), and gave me advice on joint supplements to help with her mobility. The only thing that I did not like is that the blood panel I needed to order to check on her liver and kidney function was more expensive to get it that day than to wait for her "annual exam." I did not want to wait since I adopted her as a senior pup and wanted to know if there was any disease with her liver and kidneys. So I paid more to have peace of mind. Great customer service, but odd way of billing.

My daughter and I absolutely love this place. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a vet for their fur babies. The staff is extremely friendly and professional always. There is a chalkboard sign out front that has the names of every patient for the day hand written on it which is a super cute way of welcoming you and your pet. Every staff member we have met is very attentive and gentle with our babies ( we have 3 kittens and 1 dog). They never leave us waiting in the waiting room or the exam room for more than a few minutes, and they offer water or soda while you wait. They move quickly to treat your pet, and really spend the time to make sure you understand everything they are doing. It always feels like our babies are the only ones being seen that day because they never rush us or make us feel like we are taking up too much of their time, yet as I said we are never kept waiting long either. They space the appointments out to ensure they have the time to spend with each patient, I absolutely love this about the place. Lastly, they are very honest about what needs to be done for each pet. They don't just say your pet needs something so that they can get more money out of you, in fact, a few times we have gone in thinking one of our babies needed something and they went through all of the symptoms with us and assured us that we didn't need to spend money on unnecessary testing. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Ive been here as a back up to vet cliser to my home fir years...theyve heloed several pets... consistently gentle staff AND your pet stays with you which seems to be something many do not offer. Bumping them to primary providers and making a longer trek bcz of overall service and overall availability.

My dog had a non-life threatening emergency. There was a 5 hour wait at Med Vet in Carmel. I started calling other vets and was able to get in here the very next day on a Sunday. I went to the appointment and got excellent care. My dog had tapeworm and some other kind of infection. We got medicine immediately and he is on his way to feeling much better thanks to the care he received at Binford. I'm very happy with his care and do recommend this clinic.

We had a fantastic experience at the Binford location for Pet Wellness Clinics. This location was very tidy and well organized, and the crew had a pleasant hustle about them, with smiles all around. Our older pup was a first time visitor and they made him feel extremely comfortable during the greeting, check up and cleaning. I also very much respect the attention to detail that the team showed to each person that came in. I noticed with 2 people ahead of me that the ladies working took extra care to explain and outline any billing/charges. And when I was presented with recommendations, cost, and details, they were extremely thorough. A very, very appreciative shout out to Emma and Dr. Angela for their experience and kindness with our pup. They treated him like a king and adapted their approach very well based on their observation and questions to learn more. Highly recommend this team and we look forward to working with them year round for our animal(s).

My three dogs and I have been to Binford Pet Wellness a handful of times, and each time has been great. I have had a few emergency/needs to be seen day of-type of situations, and they’ve always gotten me in quickly that same day. They are honest and gentle with my pets. It’s a little pricey, but you get what you pay for, and you get great customer service and quality vet care here. PS - Ben has been our tech a few times and he is wonderful!

We have taken our dogs to Binford Pet Wellness Clinics for a few years now and I can't thank them enough for always being reliable and trustworthy. Whether is has been one of our dogs or a foster dog, we have always received great service. Our most recent trip was for a very sick pup. I had to leave him at the vet two days and while it was hard on me, I knew he was in good hands. I received regular updates on his care and any changes in cost. The transparency was remarkable and appreciated. Most importantly, my guy is on the road to recovery after a couple rough days with pneumonia. I had to put my baby of 13 years down. They made the experience the best it could be with the situation given. They are professional and care about your pet. I never felt rushed and I felt they truly understood how hard it was. They were there every step of the way. They don't over charge you to make money. Or spend 5 seconds with you so they can see more dogs in a day and make money. They truly care and give you the time you pay for and want for your loved ones. This was our first time here but waiting to go back they knew every dogs name that came in that had been there before..they offered us drinks or anything while we waited. Once they knew our babies name they used his name to talk to him and comfort him throughout the process when we couldn't go back for catherization. They treated him like one of their own dogs. I will never take my fur babies anywhere else. Thank you so much for being there for our little family during a difficult time. ❤

This vet clinic exceeded my expectations! I normally don’t ever write reviews, but I have to show appreciation for how awesome they were to us. First of all, my dog keep crying and we couldn’t figure out the reason, and after calling 9 different clinics in the area I called Pet wellness and they offered an appointment same day, within hours. I took my dog in and everyone was amazing. They didn’t try to up sell anything or do unnecessary work. They also discussed all cost prior to doing anything. I made an appointment for my other dog to also be looked at by the vet. After coming home I noticed my other dog not doing well. I immediately called Pet wellness and they offered a same day appointment AGAIN! Our other dog was taken care of and they discussed everything. I was nervous to take them in because I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg for the services, but I found their prices to be very reasonable. Thank you so much for treating us soo well and taking care of our dogs. We have found our new home vet.

I have been visiting the Binford branch location since 2019. The vets and technicians are very kind, welcoming and makes the visit enjoyable. You get reasonably quick response when I call them or via email for any reports. The clinic is clean and pleasant to visit. They offer water or coffee to drink. I recommend this place.

Very easy to make an appointment and make changes to delays in arrival. It is a very busy office though, which does stress out my pets a little bit to much. The big down side is that the vet you see is never the one see again. So it's harder to gain trust and just feels like you are being passed around. But all staff is very welcoming and professional!

My prior vet was OOO when my dog got hurt, so I called around. I was able to get an appt the same day I called, the lady who answered the phone was wonderful. The receptionist when I arrived was wonderful. The Vet, the Tech, and Tech in training all examined my dog. They gave in depth explanation of what happened, and went through options for treatment. They then showed me the bill to approve before any actions were taken, which I very much liked. My dog is home safe and healthy, and my stress level was relieved due to their professionalism and response times. 5 out of 5 for me!

Took my puppy in for his first exam and can't stress how great of an experience it was. From reception to the vet, everyone was super friendly, understanding, and helpful, and my pup had a great time. Amanda and Dr. Muskat were truly exceptional. I'm a new pet owner and the staff was great about answering my questions and making suggestions and never made me feel like they were silly or stupid, although I'm sure they've heard them all before. They are great with my dogs. And they don't push every procedure and expensive medication they can think of, like other vets do. They explain your care options, without pressuring you. I would like to add to this review that they are incredibly gentle and understanding with older dogs and end-of-life care.Even after moving across town, I continue to make the drive to this clinic with my pets.

I usually take my cat to their Fishers office since it is closer to my home. However, on a few occasions that I have used Binford clinic, I have found their service to be excellent. The staff is always friendly and professional and the facility is always clean. I never had to wait for my appointments the few occasions that I have been there. I recommend this vet to everyone!! My dog was extremely ill and needed emergency surgery. They got her in right away and took great care of her. I can’t tell you how impressed I am ,even when I called they took the time to talk to me and showed compassion for both me and my pet! They even have a welcome board with all the pets name on it that have an appointment that day! Very clean and professional!

Brought my Luna girl here to get her puppy shots and I was very impressed. We opted to go with the prime membership. The vets were very thorough with Luna and also very friendly. They also gave good tips for when I am working with her. When we arrived, there was a sign out front with all of the dogs' names who had appointments that day. They showed a lot of kindness, caring and compassion before, during and after the procedure. I had just moved to the area and wasn't familiar with the pet resources in town. After the move, my cat came down with an upper respiratory infection and I was scrambling to find a new place to go to. I called multiple veterinarian offices that shooed me away for not being a registered/returning client. Many gave me the short end and told me I'd have to wait two weeks to a month before they had availability. Binford Pet Wellness was the first and ONLY vet clinic that answered my call with friendliness and compassion. The receptionist expressed sincere concern for my cat and scheduled me day of for an appointment because, according to her, "that's my baby!" I had a great, quick, and easy experience while there, and I would recommend them if you are new to the area and looking for a place to kickstart your pet's vet care in Indy. Thank you!

The staff was able to see us very quickly for an emergency situation requiring an ultrasound -- which not all vets office have surprisingly enough. The tech, Hope, was so good with our dog and with us. Dr. Darden diagnosed the situation quickly and professionally and had a good manner: kind but frank. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Awesome vet services. My 5 month old American Bully Athena had a freak accident and something was dropped on her toe. Binford Pet Wellness Clinic was open on a Sunday and took us in for a appointment when we really needed it. Best thing about it, they didn't charge us a ridiculous amount of money for a emergency visit. They will now be our go to vet for our furbaby. I don't even care about the 30+ min drive from Greenwood Indiana. Thanks guys!

My girlfriend and I were picky about who we wanted to take our newly adopted German Shepherd into for a check up. We called around to a few different places and Binford Pet Wellness asked a few questions and got him in the same day. They set up a patient profile and recorded his chip ID. The place and very new and clean and the vet techs and doctor were very helpful and sweet to him. They are also very affordable. 10/10 we will be back!

Binford Pet Clinic has been a HUGE help to me and my Teacup Shih-tzus! They've done everything for my dogs, from deliver puppies by C-section to simple checkups to ensure my dogs are are always well cared for. There are cheaper places, but I doubt you'll find a cheaper place with as nice of facilities as Binford or cares as much for your pets.

We’ve had an excellent experience with Binford Pet Wellness Clinic. We have 2 dogs who we have recently started taking here after we moved to the area. The last month has been busier for our dogs as we’ve had to bring them in multiple times for different reasons. We are always able to get an appointment within a day or two, and same day if it’s a more urgent issue. We never wait long at the clinic and all of the staff are friendly and professional. One of our dogs has some trauma from before we rescued him and has been completely comfortable around all of the vets here which is a big feat. We look forward to getting care for our dogs here for a long time.

I brought my dog in today and couldn't be happier with the service. The staff is very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. My dog is extremely shy but everyone did great with him and I could tell he started feeling comfortable right away. They found out what was going on with him pretty quickly, got him on meds, gave him a free bag of treats, and the pricing is very reasonable. We will definitely be using this vet for any future visits!

This is a long review but I really love & appreciate Binford and I thought I'd share why. I've been bringing my two dogs & two cats here for a little over a year. They've got a great system and it's clear a lot of thought goes into it. I've noticed this from the beginning. They see a lot of patients in a day and yet I've never felt rushed, even on a few occasions when I've had to come in same-day. That in my opinion is a sign of a strong system. As a personal touch I love how they have an easel outside with all the pets names coming in that day all written in different color markers. Really awesome. I love seeing my pet's name on there each time : ) Because they're so organized & operate so efficiently they've been able to fit us in, as I said, on a few occasions when we needed a same-day visit. All but once they could do it which amazes me bc they see a lot of pets in a day. That easel is often filled with 30-40 names. The time they couldn't fit us in around the holidays they were able to get us into the Geist location. We rcvd great care there and it was a very positive experience. They had all our records & everything and treated us as if we were their regular patients. It made me realize the value of being plugged into a network of clinics rather than just one clinic. One clinic may be great but if/when there's a need sometimes that clinic can't fit you in. Being a part of Pet Wellness Clinics that's never a concern and is a huge stress-reliever for me. That experience also gave me insight into another great quality they have which is great record-keeping protocols. They've got it down. When I went to that other clinic they had my pet's medical history with all details right there at their fingertips as if that was our primary clinic. Made the whole thing so easy and reassuring. And on other occasions at Binford I've referenced something covered in a previous visit sometimes with another doctor and everything was right in the notes & they knew exactly what I was talking about. So great and again makes everything so easy. All the vets I've dealt with here have been very professional & reliable in getting to the bottom of any problems my pets may be having and explaining things clearly. Once an issue is diagnosed they compile an itemized quote detailing everything needing to be done so everyone is on the same page before moving forward. I really appreciate this. Overall as you can tell I'm very happy with Binford and the larger Pet Wellness Clinics network as well. I'm grateful we have a vet I feel good about and who I trust so much.

We take both our dogs to Binford wellness clinic! We all love it there! The staff and vets are very friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell they really care for the animals the way they treat them. Numerous times they got on the floor to play with my dogs and to love on them. They know them by name and treat them like one of their own. We will continue to take our pets there as they offer the best care. They always call the day after services to check on them to make sure they are OK and haven't had any reactions. They send reminders in the mail and have an accommodating schedule. We wouldn't trust our pets with anyone else!

Just recently one of my cats developed a UTI, they were very good at getting my cat in right away and super great about checking in with me and answering all my questions at any time especially since this was my first urinary problem and I was quite nervous. Walking in was really surprising- Our dogs names were written on a welcome board out front! They are usually anxiety riddled for vet visits, but the staff at Binford Pet Wellness really kept them at ease. Our dogs don't normally take treats from strangers, but were glad to from this office's staff. Everyone was kind, patient, and understanding. They were glad to answer any questions, and I didn't feel like the worst dog owner, because our dog is a few pounds overweight. The vet tech offered additional services that were appropriate for the age of our dogs, and the prices were affordable. Very pleased with our visit! :)

I was able to get an appointment set up for my cat (16yo-AmSH) the same day of requesting an appointment for the next day and the service, both patient (& caregiver) oriented as well as direct and informative, are the top two reasons that I will being going back. The pricing of the diagnostic testing was not outrageous by any means, and they really care about the welfare of the pet as well as the "owner's" feelings AND wallet. The Vet Tech (Maddie J.) & Vet (Kerry Peterson) made sure that my cat and I were spent adequate time with and we did not feel rushed by any means, nor did we leave with any questions unanswered. Everything in the lab results ($$,) urinalysis ($,) and treatment plan ($) was explained in detail and they ensured that I knew what all could possibly be going on with my buddy and really helped provide comfort for me and my anxieties about the entire situation. We were concerned about our 12 year old dog, but Dr. Darden assured us she would be fine because they monitor the vitals and medicine during surgery. I took my dog Bear, a very anxiety filled Labrador Retriever, to Binford Pet Wellness Clinic and have personally never had better customer service at any other clinic. From the beginning the receptionists were kind and greeted Bear with affection, even offering him a treat (which immediately calmed him down). The technician answered all of my questions and throughout the process of the appointment updated me on the cost of each item. We saw Dr. Darden, who was gentle with Bear, and expressed genuine affection towards him. Everyone was so kind, including the other customers! I even received a phone call checking up on Bear the next day. Making my next appointment was easy and taken care of quickly, as well as payment. And the price was extremely reasonable for the area. If I could grant this place 10 stars I would! Excellent care!

Everyone on staff is super nice and helpful. I just got a new 7 month old puppy and so far I have taken him in for a wellness exam, a first round of shots and getting stitches taken out, and I will be taking him back in a few weeks for a second round of shots. They have kept me informed about what shots he needs and why, and how long the appointments will take. I called to ask about a dewormer tablet that came with his adoption paperwork and they let me know about any possible side effects and what to watch for. I feel comfortable taking my dog here because they really care about the animals that come in. You can tell that they are animal people! They also keep a sign out front that welcomes all of the pets (it has their name on it if they have an appointment that day) and I just think that's a really nice touch. You also get an ID card for your pet that has a photo, their vaccine history, and a place for their microchip number if they have one. All of the important info I need is in one place instead of searching through my stack of paperwork. Overall, I'm very happy that I've chosen Binford Pet Wellness Clinic for my furbaby!

Actually, I worried about the care my Oliver would receive if I did go to another clinic. We've been coming to Binford Pet Wellness for 2 1/2 years. Within that time, we've had one dog have anal gland removal surgery. Everyone is friendly here and they have always seemed very genuine and truthful. I have a German Shepherd who gets anxious with strangers - she is completely fine here. My cat (only pet I've dropped off and picked up later) always comes back very calm and it's clear everyone gave him lots of lovin. The only remark I WOULD have been able to make is that a pill supplement was prescribed for my cat at one point because of bladder infections but it was really hard to implement at home (huge pill + cat = lots of scratches). Went back, the vet realized my cat wouldn't be able to take the pills, realized it was a lack of attention to specifics when it was recommended, and quickly gave me something else for him, free of charge product and free of charge visit. They realized the mistake and quickly fixed it - that's why I said "would have". I judge new vets by "would they do what's best for my pet if I weren't here to make decisions" and the answer for them is a resounding YES.

This week I had to take both of my indoor cats to a vet because they somehow contracted fleas. After calling many offices no one could see them until next week until I found the binford clinic. They offered an appointment the next day and were so nice and easy to work with. They offered to help with my carriers and held doors open for me and even offered to help to my car afterwards. One of my cats is extremely temperamental and the vets who took care of him never pushed his boundaries and tried their best to make sure he felt safe and not stressed while there (which is the reason I left my previous vet who showed no sympathy for him) they let my other cat roam around by the computer and pet them and gave them treats to try and win over their affection. I wont be going to another veterinary office after what a good experience I had here.

Amy was so great with Gus, and Dr. Graves was very informative about the treatment. This is a good place to take pets for routine care. The staff is friendly and helpful, and if you have an appointment, your pet's name will be on the welcome board you see when you walk in. When I first started going there, their pricing was below average to get new customers coming back. Now it's on par with the market, so I have migrated back to the Iconic Dr. Doyle. Sorry about that, but I'll be back after he retires. It's a convenient location, but beware of the crossing stoplights on Binford, both at Graham and 71st street. I say this because the red lights constantly get ran by fast moving N-S traffic on Binford, so check both ways before you cross Binford. Having your beloved pet in the car would be the worst time to get T-boned.

Since this was my first visit, I wasn't sure what to expect. Somewhat new to the area, I had tried out two other locations and didn't really feel comfortable with either one. Upon entering the Binford Pet wellness center I was greeted by friendly staff. My dog Moe and I were escorted to a room a few minutes before our appointment time. The nurse was in the room in minutes gathering information. She was very friendly and took some photos of Moe. She then conferred with the Doctor Stephanie Barringer. The nurse returned, explained what the Doctor wanted to do, printed out a list of what everything would cost, and let me make some decisions. I knew every step of the way from the minute I walked into the room, what the costs were, so there were no surprises. We have had our two dogs at another well-rated vet for years, but became frustrated when that office couldn't figure out what condition one of our dogs was suffering from... they merely treated the symptoms instead of the root of the problem. So we gave Binford clinic a try, and they nailed it on the head immediately and knew exactly what to do. The staff and doctor were so kind from start to finish and it was clear they really care about us and made efforts to minimize the financial burden as much as they could. I have had experience prior to my Yorkie, Pokey, getting his annual shots when my dog and his brother got their teeth cleaned...That was awhile ago but I am a dental hygienist and I LOVED that they took before and after pictures of their dental cleaning results. They also gave a great explanation of their problem areas and problems to be aware of for certain breeds. More recently, Pokey went in for his annual shots. I think it's so cute they write the clients names on the outside board to personalize each day. I left my previous vet after 'buying into' the vaccines for life program :/ which was unfortunate, financially, but the veterinarians office did not accommodate to working pet owners. I LOVE the hours Binford Pet Wellness Clinic offers for their furry friends. At this visit, Pokey got to see Dr. Angela Darden and her assistant/nurse, Hilary. They were both very compassionate and friendly to my little pup. :) Makes a fur mommy really happy. Binford's prices are also very affordable and they give you many different options for heartworm protection. I really, really like the little I.D. cards they give you with your dogs picture and vaccination records, they are amazing when boarding and convenient reference. We unfortunately had to put down our 12 year old boxer, Lexi, this last month...Prior to our last visit taking Lexi here we were told of the issues with her health and what to expect in the coming months. As Lexi became more sick, we called that day and spoke to staff that were able to fit us in for a last minute appointment at the end of the day. We felt fully supported and cared for as we worked with the doctors and staff to make this difficult decision to put Lexi down. At the time of the appointments some of my expectations were super high, as I was very emotional (I don't typically have my own pets because I get so distraught when they are suffering). I expected the Clinic to predict what I wanted them to tell me without asking them. I was nervous I would cry if I started asking questions. However, asking questions and sharing my confusion after the fact made all the difference. So if you come here and have questions, ask... Or call and ask later if that makes it easier (it made it a lot easier for me) My experience thus far: I went here to help my partners cat. I've been watching the big guy and his sisters (another cat and a dog) for a while, now. He had a bladder infection and crystals in his urine. The first appt was ok... I felt that I should have been given more detailed instructions on how to give him the medicine he was prescribed (I was a wreck the 3 days after trying to force feed him pills - I had a friend help in the end). I had been told that he would probably willingly take on of the meds and I could put the other in his food... They big guy didn't go for either. The weather was freezing rain and snow, that day. It turned a 15 min drive into a 50 minute drive, and they let me push my appointment back without any issues. They also called to check on him the next day, which relieved some stress. The second appointment, 2 weeks later, was better. They prescribed pills again and I had to be really direct about getting someone to show me how to force him to swallow them. She showed me how she did it (though, I couldn't recreate it at home - I think the cat can tell how anxious it makes me, making him on gaurd before I even get near him). The cat was also switched prescription food as a permanent diet change... I was frustrated because I had read about other cats having temporary prescription diets, then going back to OTC urinary tract focused diets. I didn't understand why my cat's diet change had to be permanent, and they didn't explain why. They did show me their prime pet membership thing, at this appointment in an effort to save me money. That was nice. I didn't fully grasp the plan enough to make a decision... Trying to decide between that and pet insurance. Why I'm still giving them Five Stars: I originally rated them at 3 stars. After the second appointment I got a call regarding my experience. I shared my frustrations about not being shown how to get him to take the pills at the first appointment (or that I would even need to force feed him). She apologized and said if I was still having problems I could bring him in and they'd do it for me (such a relief). She also fully explained the suggested permanent diet change, rather than a temporary one. I was pretty satisfied with her explaination, but I wasn't the one paying for prescription food. I asked if she would call my partner, who is away on active duty, and explain it all in a voicemail. She did! My partner called me later, elated that she had been so thorough in her explaination. Ultimately it made me feel a lot better and I'm glad my cat is going here. Other things to note: They had a little welcome sign with all the animals names that had appointments that day. It was cute. The price seemed about par with the other vets near me. They used an app that makes keeping track of the appointments really easy. At the first appointment, hey explained they had sister clinics in the area and gave me their hours. They did this because it was a Friday, and if the cat had an adverse reaction to the medication, I could quickly contact one of the clinics that had longer weekend hours to get help. Everyone was very nice and kept saying how great my cat was... That just makes ya feel good.

In a slight emergency situation, we were referred to B.P.W.C. since our current vet's office could not see us for 3 additional days. (red flag, right?)
