We love Dr. Tamura, Erin, and the entire staff at Waipio Pet Clinic. They have treated our mini poodle with the most awesome care and are always so kind and respond quickly whenever I contact them. Our dog was a rescue and has chronic kidney disease, as well as dental and stomach issues. They have helped to bring her readings to better levels and she is doing well! I can tell that they truly care about their patients and families.

This was my 2nd serious visit for one of my cats in 6 months and Dr. Nanbu provided excellent care both times. She's very knowledgeable--identifying the what, how, and why very quickly--and is gentle and patient with my pets. My cat recovered quickly in both cases. Waipio Pet Clinic has a stable and competent staff and vets. It's comforting to see the same faces. They are all knowledgeable and patient and kind. What more could you ask for? I had tried 3 other clinics prior but Waipio Pet Clinic is definitely the best. I've been with them for years and trust them.

We went here for the first time to see Dr. Nanbu. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The vet tech was very patient and even cleaned up Ella's nervous poop without complaint. Ella hates when people look at her ears, eyes, skin, etc. She tried her best to wiggle her way out, but the tech and Dr. Nanbu were both very patient and calm. Dr. Nanbu was very informative and took the time to not only listen to my concerns, but explain all of her answers in detail. She was very patient and kind. I appreciate her taking the time to make sure my questions were answered and for helping me understand.

I recently took my current little dog in for an issue and Dr. Nanbu was able to diagnose the problem and give assistance right away. He is doing much better after the first treatment. Even though I could understand that because of Covid things have changed, I did not like having a conversation with the doctor and the assistant outside on the side walk and later on by the car. It made it more difficult to concentrate on the conversation and insure that I asked all the correct questions regarding my pet. All employees went through great length to make it easier for the patient and the caretaker. I hope this 'new normal' will not last too long. I prefer to sit inside the exam room instead of being outside, watching dogs urinate against the wall where the benches are. So much for sitting there while waiting for the doctor and/or assistant to come outside with my pet. Hopefully, later this year, everybody will be vaccinated and we can return to the old normal!

If you’re unsure about where to take your fur baby for good care look no further. My mom and I took her little girl for an injury and she was giving amazing care. Dr took the time to look over her completely, prices were terrific and the staff made us feel very comfortable and cared for. We will continue going to Waipio pet clinic because they surpassed our expectations and are helping us get our little girl better.

I just brought my 8-week-old puppy in for a checkup with Dr. Nanbu. The whole staff was so warm and welcoming, I've missed them for the past year and a half since my previous dog, Rory, died at 14 1/2 years old. Rory would always wag and smile on the way into the office, she just loved the affection and attention she received, as did my dog, Maxie, who was older than Rory. I think my new puppy is on her way to be the same. The care my dogs have received here has been exceptional every moment from puppy, throughout their lives and also helping to pass over the rainbow bridge. I cannot imagine a better team to entrust the heath of my dogs with. They treat them as if they were their own.

Dr. Nambu and staff are the greatest people who love animals and care for them with TLC. My dog, Mia, has been having scabs on her back and kept on scratching. She was getting bald from scratching too much. Dr. Nambu took her time to search for why Mia was scratching. Ahhhh, she found one flea... she suggested Bravecto and I must say it answered Mia's cry for help. I haven't see her scratch once since she got back from the vet. Thank you Waipio Pet Clinic... Dr. Nambu is a gem.

Waipio Pet Clinic followed safe Covid guidelines and for my dog's recent check-up. They took great care of her and communicated everything that was being done for her in the doctor's office. The vet technician explained everything to me and even brought out samples of items that I wanted to purchase. Staff are wonderful and always help me with an appointment that fits my schedule. Even a rush appointment. They went above and beyond just today. My dog hurt his paws and I could not carry him out of my car. The staff came out to assist and made sure they walked with us. They whisked us straight into a room to attend to his needs knowing he may be in pain. They wanted to be sure he was taken care of as soon as possible. Awesome care with great staff and doctor. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE using this pet clinic for my puppy aka my son Tank. His first visit was about 3 weeks ago and the lady who came out to grab him thought he was so cuuute and gave us the run down on his appointment, and also wanted a picture of him. We told her thats fine, he's cute and good, he just do some funny things thou lol. The staff here are really friendly and loving. Their customer service and profession is sooo on point. Today I rescheduled tank's appointment for the second time due to truck issues and if they missed your call you are more than welcome to send them a text and they get back to you right away. The staff here are very understanding and they always meet my expectations plus try their best to go out their way for you and meet your availability too (which I love). I plan to keep them for a very long time

With the whole COVID-19 pandemic, I believe the staff responded very well in ensuring the safety and well-being of their staff and their patients. The whole waiting room is blocked off and the staff would come out to pick up your furry friend and examine them inside. My pup came in for a skin condition and they gave me the medication and instructions I needed. The transaction is all contactless using a small tray that they disinfect along with your form of payment. I’ve been coming to this vet for a few years now and have always received the utmost care.

My dog Maya has been going to Waipio Pet Clinic for her 13 years of existence. The staff is unfailingly friendly. The veterinarian are well educated and current on all treatment options. While most of her visits are routine check ups, she has suffered injuries to her hind legs and skin allergies, which served as true testament to the caliber of service Waipio Pet Clinic has to offer. Ten years to present my dogs have been going here. Staff are efficient and friendly. Doctors are great and explain what’s going on in detail. Also provide you with printouts of information and a detailed receipt(s). They cried with us when my dogs went to the rainbow 🌈 bridge. It’s so heartwarming to receive a condolence card signed by all the staff and doctors knowing they understood our loss. I don’t know how long the text messaging has been in place but I really like this feature. Appointments can be confirmed or accepted. Instead of calling you can text them with what you need. Way better than playing telephone tag. I highly recommend to anyone that this clinic is a great place to bring your pets.

They all are very nice and helpful. I went to them because I got a new kitty for the first time and they helped me get him checked out amd vaccinated. Really greatful for the tips that helped me prep for him to live with me so he can be happy and healthy. Even though they are crazy booked sometimes they are worth the wait imo.

Everything at Waipio Pet Clinic is exceptional. The vets, the assistants, the front desk staff, are very friendly, helpful, knowledge, and caring. We have taken our last 3 dogs here. But what the best experience I had was at one of the worst times. My chinchilla had passed away and Waipio Pet Clinic helped me to get him cremated. When I went to pick up the ashes, they had a little card with his name and paw print, and a snip of his fur. It's the little things that sometimes make the biggest impact. They are not only compassionate to pets but their owners as well. Definitely 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everyone here is so kind and their business runs very efficiently. I like the fact that if you call and get no answer you get an immediate text response that you can respond to so you can get answers or plans made more quickly. We have had our three dogs under their care since we moved here, and they have been great. They are very compassionate, and I can't recommend them enough.

Big “Thank You” to Dr.E. Uruu with Waipio Gentry Pet Clinic for an Awesome first visit with our adopted cat, 8 months old . Stray cat from Humane Society. Our cat was timid initially but Dr.Uruu and his staff were very gentle and took the time to allow our cat to settle down, relax. Dr.Uruu was able to have our cat change his behavior from anxious, hyper alert state to relaxed and calm state. Our Finn actually laid flat on the table eyes closed body flaccid as Dr.Uruu gently rubbed under his chin. It was nice to see. Dr.Uruu listened to our concerns and allowed time for questions. Staff were patient with our questions , very friendly. They were also very efficient. Appointment on time. The rooms are clean , not smelly , and actually comfortable. Appreciate the great first experience. Felt very comfortable here and happy our Finn in caring hands. Much Mahalo. !

The vet was very good. But some of the staff are not very efficient. I told them I wanted to order my dogs meds on line. When Petco faxed a verification request to them, they responded saying they didn't do online verification. They did this twice. I finally took my prescription to Costco.

I found little Joey in backyard as a baby kitten that was left behind. When I found him, he was sickly. He has an eye infection, tape worms, and diarrhea. We took him to Waipio Pet Clinic, and they were able to help us. They gave us eye meds for his eyes, and he was too young and light for tape worm treatment so they asked us to come back when he was 2 lbs.
