PetVet is the only vet I trust my babies with! I’ve had so many bad experiences with other vets, and when I finally found PetVet I was SO thankful. Their compassion is unmatched. They love my babies like I do, and I trust them with their lives. My puppy got into gum, they saved her life and hospitalized her for a few days. I took my senior cat to 3 different vets before I found PetVet, and no one could figure out what was wrong. I thought he was about to pass away until Dr. Yusuda took the time to diagnose him with diabetes. He’s now thriving and back to his old self! All in all, I tell all my friends that PetVet is the best!

I came in for a second opinion on my dogs limp/lameness. The doctor listened to all of my concerns and answered all of my questions. She even referred me to a dog physical therapist which is exactly what I thought he needed. I am so happy with the care that my dog and I received. I believe that a big part of a vets job is to address any and all concerns that the pet parent has and they definitely did that here. Plus, I didn't feel like I was over charged for anything with was extremely nice to see!

Dr. Yasuda is amazing! She is very kind, honest, and knowledgeable. If an emergency or medical issue arises with one of our fur babies, she will always discuss options of treatment or testing, and lays out the possibilities and costs so we can make an educated decision on what to proceed with. She never pressures us or scare tactics us into costly procedures or tests, and so far, she has always been right about what is worth it and what is not. My husband and I know of others that drive from Mililani and Hawaii Kai to go to this clinic in Salt Lake!

Dr. Yoshioka is so knowledgeable and she gave the most attentive care to our 15 year old basset hound. We thought we had to say goodbye to him, but with the extremely affordable tumor fighting medicine she prescribed for the last 6 months (stasis breaker $60) our pup is still here happy as can be, and almost good as new! PetVet has very convenient extended hours and prompt appointment availability, extremely helpful and friendly staff, and a very efficient online medication refill/pick up system. Above all, PetVet is the most honest and affordable veterinary clinic I have used. They will run every charge by you for your approval and they suggest the more logical and convenient course of action first. Petvet is about the animals, not the money, even if the state of the art facility would make you think otherwise.

The Dr. and staff were very kind and friendly. When we got there they took Boba in right away for a medical emergency. The Dr. Called me in a timely manner regarding her observation and findings. And then talked about the plan of action for Boba. She was very supportive in what I decided for Boba and sent us home with meds for him. Miraculously Boba was back to almost normal the next day!!!

I’m completely blown away by this clinic. We live on the other side of the island and were running 20 mins late but everyone was so kind and still saw us promptly. Dr. Yoshioka spent over an hour with us discussing care options and doing a wellness check. We’re really looking forward to continued care and physical therapy with the clinic and Dr. Yoshioka.

Fancy, fancy! Swanky vibe & so many staff members in matching uniforms that I half expected to be offered an espresso when I entered. Walk-ins allowed. Senior & military discounts. App to schedule, med records, etc. Canine Snack Bar of random, dried body parts. Fancy freaky! Will def come back for Halloween to use dried bovine trachea, duck neck, lamb ears, etc. to scare/TRICK the heck out of my friends & then the dog can have a TREAT. Only reason not 4 star is because PetVet is pricier than my normal vet but referred to PetVet for an x-ray.

This is a wonderful facility and the staff is amazing. I have brought two of my dogs here several times for urgent and emergency medical issues. They are incredibly understanding and helpful. When one of my dogs passed away I brought her to Pet Vet for cremation. The staff was very comforting and understanding for our situation and really gave my old girl a dignified send off. They are absolutely wonderful here! Absolutely recommend them for any veterinarian needs.

This place is heaven-sent!!! Their communication with me as a concerned dog mom was nothing short of amazing (and that's such an understatement!), and for this I appreciate them so very much. They helped my 9 month old pup with her health problems by sending her with medications and food to take home; explaining to me every single detail of what needed to be done on a daily. They were able to answer all of my questions with great patience and knowledge. The next few days, my pup was eating well, got her appetite back, gained a few pounds...and I'm just so extremely grateful. They also followed up to see how my pup was doing. ♥️ I'm from Waianae, but driving to PetVet is so worth it knowing they'll provide my pets great quality care, and the medical team share the same concern as me. PetVet is amazing and always goes above and beyond for my dog. Dr. Yasuda caught and diagnosed my miniature dachshund's IVDD (spinal disc rupture) before full paralysis set in and was able to get us referred to a specialist and in surgery the same day for the repair. Due to her quick diagnosis my dachshund has full function again and you can not tell he ever even had an episode. The whole team is amazing and never makes you spend money unnecessarily, they are open and honest about their prices and you truly feel like they care about the animals and not about making a profit off of your situation. Thank you to Dr Yasuda, Dr Tarr, Dr Onaga and everyone who has taken care of Scooter!

Wonderfully staff. Being new it's sometimes hard to find quality places to help that are also affordable. I initially seen PetVet when my dog injured his foot/toe nail when flying to the island. The staff was helpful and was able to get a appointment that day. After that we used them as our go to Vet. My dog being older started to develop health issues and PetVet was persistent and caring trying to take care of him and make him as comfortable as possible. Everytime we came in the staff was always so energetic and greeted my pet by name. Unfortunately not every story is a success my dog developed a serious, what we believe may be a heart/lung issue resulting in us needing to be referred to a Specialist in the island. While at the Specialist we decided it was time for him to be put to rest. It turns out PetVet followed up with the Specialist and found out the news. A few days after we received a card in the mail which was personalized and meaningful and really hit home. I would recommend PetVet to ANYONE who loves there for leg companion.

These people truly care about your animal. They are wonderful. Had so much compassion and handled the situation very professionally when my baby of 10 years passed. I highly recommend PetVet. KEEPING IT REAL- Koa' my m.Bully had suffered a bad case of heat stress / over heated from running around the park too long / and playing too hard with my Grandkids. He started breathing very hard, also his 👅 was hanging very low & started turning blueish in color. I rushed him to PetVet hospital, there're took him inside and manage to stabilize Koa'- he just got saved thanks to the Lady Dr. and Nurses working that night. They are my hero's.. My bill shot up real fast and I was not able to pay the whole thing, well thank thier blessed hearts - lady Doctor let Koa come home after observation and she said I could pay the balance later- well I've been working my butt off every day and taking extra jobs nobody likes to do, so I can pay my bills, I dont get paid for one more week, I will pay them back for thier help with Koa boy, but I just want to tell all staff that night Mahalo & GOD bless y'all and thanks for saving Koa boy.

This vet is absolutely phenomenal. After having issues with another vet trying to get health certs and acclimation letters to pcs, PetVet was able to fit me into their schedule. This was a huge help with making sure both me and my pets made our flights to pcs off the island. They were extremely helpful and made sure everything was perfect! Our greyhound became severely dehydrated on her flight from the mainland, we called PetVet as soon as we picked her up from quarantine and explained the situation and they were able to get her in to be seen right away. Everyone was amazing, communication was excellent, they explained costs and provided an accurate estimate. Our girl ended up staying overnight for IV fluids and her care was wonderful. This was not what we were expecting on our first day in Hawaii but the staff at PetVet put us at ease made everything as seamless as possible!

Great medical care & affordable pricing. Very clean facility and friendly staff! Make sure you turn into the parking lot by the McDonald's and not at the light. Always remember to get flea and tick treatment for your critters big and small! Had a small oversight when getting our pup checked out for seizures and he picked up some fleas, shucks. Tried home remedies to little avail and came back for expert care and recieved only the best! If my previous review influenced your view of this vet please disregard its ill-informed words. Regarding the seizures, overnight stay for the pup was great and the tests came back with little concern. Anxiety most likely due to business trips and leaving suddenly. Took the advice of the professionals here and changed the environment for thr pup (left the suitcase out in our room for him to see) and no more seizures! Thanks PetVet and thanks Dr. Pearson!

The website and App are so easy and effective. It is so helpful to me that the have late hours It is always a wonderful experience! PetVet has been a great vet for my cat in Hawaii. The best part about PetVet is that they are affordable!! They were actually cheaper than my vet on the mainland. I always knew my cat would be in good hands here. As of 2022, they still do not let owners to come into the exam rooms. We have to wait outside in the car.

Our cat was seen by Dr. Pearson who advised us to see a surgeon. Rather than sedating our cat to pinpoint the exact problem, she knew that his problem was beyond the scope of her practice and referred us to a surgeon. This saved us money, because the surgeon would just have to sedate him again. Our cat also didn't seem to mind the visit and was so untraumatized he did not run and hide the moment we got home. All the staff and techs were great, from the scheduling receptionist who answered quickly and gave us an appointment, to the vet techs who greeted us and helped offload and load him in the car. Definitely the place to bring your pet family members!

Taking a pet to the Vet is always seemingly traumatic to pet, parents, and wallet; however, the staff smiles and generosity are always welcoming and help to take the sting out. Additionally, I witnessed a dog wanting to play with our dog, and continued barking...loudly. The mom holding was dealing with her daughter and the staff jumped in and asked if they would like to wait in the car while things were getting prepared. I thought that was an excellent intervention and supported that family wonderfully...and me/Hoku (the barking was really loud). Well Done!!

I am so thankful that Pet Vet opened at Salt Lake Shopping Center! My little 2 year old Shih Tzu "Cookie Dough" got too close to our big dog "Lady's" food when she was eating and she snapped at Cookie dislodging her left eye from her socket! I was in a panic! It was a Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. and it was my son that found her whimpering. We got her to Pet Vet within 10 minutes and Dr. Renee Nagata immediately did surgery and stitched her eye lid. Praying that she will not lose her eye. I also had a trip planned in 6 days! I was able to have her boarded there very reasonably while I was gone and they took such good care of her! They even emailed pictures and little notes how she is doing there. On my return, she had no stitches and her eye looks great! We are just waiting and praying she will be able to see clearly again. Everyone of the staff knows Cookie Dough and our family. They are so kind and you can tell they genuinely love our pets! Thank you Pet Vet!

The staff here are really amazing. Everyone we've interacted with have been really helpful and friendly. Our 14 year old iggy had to have almost all of his teeth removed and the Vet kept me well informed the entire process. The estimate provided beforehand was spot on, and nothing superfluous was added to inflate the price. We chose this practice based on reviews from other military families, and gladly make the drive from Kapolei to ensure our senior dog receives the best care we can find for him.

I love bringing my two dogs here. They also have no problem going with the staff for their appointments. Always get an appointment within the week or two. They are open late, so when i get out of work at 4pm, it gives me plenty of time to go home and get them to their apartment. Its really affordable, and the staff and doctors are absolutely amazing.

Excellent staff and service. App is user-friendly to make appointments, purchase food, or refill monthly medications. They've adapted incredibly to the pandemic and make pet care super easy and safe. Have already recommended my family and friends make the switch from our former pet hospital that was expanding and becoming WAY OVERPRICED.

I like the convenience of you opening 7 days a week. Also having late hours is a big plus for me. I have 2 jobs to juggle along with my 2 dogs and sometimes it's hard to schedule. But you having extended hours and days, I will definitely consider you my go-to vet. I have been to 3 other clinics in Honolulu and although you charged me an "emergency" rate, I was grateful. I just hope I don't have to pay that rate every time I visit you.

My dog Rascal was having a really bad rash that was concerning me. I can’t drive and my boyfriend doesn’t get off work till 5-6pm, by that time the vet that i usually take my dog to , would’ve been closed. PetVet is only vet clinics i called that was more than welcoming to take him in, and it was also very convenient that they were open late. Found a stray cat at my door on Christmas Eve in bad shape. Never been to this vet clinic before but seen it as it’s not far from I live. Was able to get in and out in about an hour. Staff was very compassionate and friendly. Amazing customer service and if they were willing to help a feral cat, I definitely will bring my pets here for emergencies. They also offer military discount. Highly recommend if your pet has an emergency, bring them here!

I knocked off a star because I am still waiting on info for what is the recommended amount of the new can food that I should be feeding him daily. PetVet is amazing! The doctors take their time to speak with you prior to seeing my pup. It was my first time bringing my year old pup for her routine as her previous vet retired so we decided to give PetVet a chance, since we heard so many great things. The doctor called me to talk during their examination, to address any concern I had. It’s unfortunate the owners can’t go in due to Covid but they make every attempt to keep owners aware of what is going on. They took the time to really know my pup. They open 7 days a week, As a new patient, I also had to bring in my 14 yr old kidney failure dog which no longer could stand. Dr Anbe took the time to know her history before putting her down. I’m so thankful that PerVet allowed us in the room as my baby(dog) took her last breath. The staff put us in a private room and gave us space to grief. I’m so thankful ❤️

Great vets, but far too busy now. For an emergency you can't rely on them anymore. I could only get an appointment at 6pm - one of the most absurdly busiest times of the day there. Parking is horrible because about a quarter of stalls in front are taken from people in McDonalds and no one is policing the stalls. We need to reschedule but they're booked solid for the next two weeks.

Great staff and very skilled care. I won't take my dog anywhere else. However, I am surprised that we are still not allowed to go with our pets to see the doctor and talk in person. I realize they are trying their best to keep everyone safe but other veterinary groups allow both pets and people to come into the clinic. Safety protocols are used such as social distancing and using hand sanitizer and face masks. If you go expect to wait in your car while your pet is taken into the clinic to see doctor. The doctor will then call you to talk to you about your pet.

They aren’t my dogs primary vet but they are right by my house. I have a senior dog and I’ve called them a couple times and they really seemed like they cared versus some vets I feel like are rushing you off the phone. They took my dog at short notice because my dog was super dizzy, kept losing her balance, and blinking like crazy. She wouldn't eat or anything. They saw her and showed empathy even though they seemed super super busy. I was really worried about her and they took care of her. Turns out my dog got vertigo, thank goodness nothing serious. Very happy with how they handled everything especially me because I was very scared and they were comforting and took the time to explain everything although they were busy.

My dog had an immediate emergency. Prior to this visit a couple of weeks ago, a different vet wasnt being as transparent, and we werent financially ready to "guess" what was wrong. This post is long overdue but I wanted to share my sincere thanks and appreciation for the wonderful care we received at Petvet. When we moved to Hawaii, we were looking for a vet to take care of our Lab and we’re lucky enough to find the team here. All services we utilized from veterinary care to boarding were wonderful. However, the shining light in this establishment has to be Dr. Greenstein. Last July, our older but otherwise healthy Lab suddenly started experiencing seizures. We rushed him to Petvet and were met with nothing but care and kindness. Dr. Greenstein took time to explain our options and offer her personal opinion. We weren’t able to go in for initial treatments due to Covid but she kept us looped in. We came to the decision that it would be best to end his suffering and had him put down the next day. We were understandably distraught and Dr. Greenstein offered such compassion and allowed us to take our time with our boy. She was also incredibly wonderful with our six year old who wanted to be there to say goodbye. We are forever grateful for the care we received from Dr. Greenstein and the Petvet staff.

These doctors know exactly what they are doing.. the staff knows exactly how to handle animals gently, kindly and professionally. I used to take my dog to a vet in a different location since she was a puppy and they never discovered the golf ball sized bladder stone that was making her terribly uncomfortable and making her pee blood for several months. I took her to PetVet to find a second opinion, and Dr. Anbe discovered the bladder stone right away and they took care of it. Prices are just as any other place yet the doctors will discuss with you much cheaper alternatives if you ask for it, they explain to you exactly what you're paying for and if anything can be eliminated to help with costs; alongside they also give you information on long term solutions and not just immediate solutions that will only cost you more in the long run and only hurt your pet. Its very apparent that they care about your pet. Conveniently located in Salt Lake. The facility is clean. The staff members are very kind and professional to both pets and pet parents. I have been taking both my cat and dog here for over two years and I will continue to take my business here knowing my babies will be taken care of!

My fur baby was at VCA needing to go through surgery for an intestinal blockage. I went there because my usual vet’s surgeon was booked up and wouldn’t be able to see him if he needed surgery. The estimate I received at VCA left me with an impossible choice of going deep into debt or saving my Max’s life. Luckily, my vet recommended me to Pet Vet, where I met an amazing team that treated Max like he was their own pet. I merry called to ask for an estimate for the surgery to see if i was being estimated too much at VCA, and they went above and beyond to help. They contacted VCA to get records and speak to the technicians there to ensure they could do the surgery. Then; they quickly got me an estimate which was nearly half what VCA said. If I stayed with VCA, it might’ve been nearly $8000. Even further, as I called them around 7pm that night, they did all this work for Max by 9pm and stayed behind for me to get him from the VCA and bring him to them. It wasn’t until 930pm that I was able to get him there (I had no car and had to get someone to watch my baby). They were so kind and concerned for Max. It made me feel so much better that he had his best chances of pulling through because he was in good hands. Dr. Yasuda was the best. She kept me updated with details and sent pictures. I could tell she was treating Max with great care and going above to deal with him. He is a picky eater and she was doing so much to help him eat - even putting dog food in his mouth. I was amazing at her patience and care with him. When we picked him, I was astounded to see the bill. It was much less than she quoted. I appreciate that they were mindful of expenses and really helped me. Another thing that I really appreciated was their bedside manner, but especially Dr. Yasuda. I’ve never had the actual doctor come out to talk to me. When we picked up Max, she came out to explain everything herself. I could tell that she was sweet with my baby because of his reaction to her. He even turned around and looked at her lovingly as she spoke. I wish I knew of them before. If you want the best for your little furbabies, Pet Vet is the place.

This was my first time coming to this vet clinic. I really loved how convenient it was to do curb side drop off since I was afraid to bring my daughter in with me because of the pandemic. I also love how Sandy's doctor called to check up on Sandy, how her new flea med was doing for her, and how fast her test results came back. Very convenient and efficient. Pet vet animal hospital saved my dogs life. We switched to them after having bad experiences at the military base vet and we've never went back. They help us provide the best care possible for my dogs and are always very friendly. In moments of fear and uncertainty they have proven to be understanding and level headed. They also are fully aware of there capabilites they quickly sent us to a diffrent animal hospital when my dog needed his surgery because they weren't equipped. Granted it was mostly due to a hurricane coming but they were and always are amazing.

Our pup Katana cracked her tooth and I noticed it on Friday. The staff at Petvet got me a first morning appointment on Saturday and after seeing the doctor they helped me schedule surgery for that week. The staff was very helpful when scheduling these appointments and tried their best to get me in as soon as they could. The doctor who took care of our pup was amazing! She was very nice and answered all my questions. After surgery she even wrote me an email with a photo attached of Katana after surgery. I couldn’t be happier with my overall experience with Petvet and would definitely recommend them if your pet ever needs veterinary care!

As far as Dr’s they’re definitely 5stars. They take care of our pets and take our phone calls even in their busy schedule. However, front desk customer service needs a little work. They’re all very nice once they give you their attention. Sometimes there’s 4 of them on the desk but not one will greet you as soon as you walk in, because their engaged in their conversation. You’ll definitely be waiting till they finished their conversation, EVEN when they see you, till you’re greeted or when there’s two of them, and they’re busy doing something else. So, customer service really need some work. Otherwise, they’re caring.

The parking situation is awful because the people in line at the McDonalds drive in lack common sense and block the parking access. The VET herself was amazing. Love this place, and the price was far less than the other vet we left. Great job guys. But you should tell people to come 30 minutes early to get around the people who cant figure out how to cue up for a drive thru. 5 stars for PetVet, but 0 stars for that McDonalds and the people who go through the drive thru there and line up the wrong way.

Really busy so we had to wait in the car for about 45. We came 10 min for our 8:00 pm appointment. We called them again at 8:15 that we were here for an 8pm appointment. All the stalls were full. After they finally took foster kitty to see the vet yet again to see what was taking so long. Apparently they got the name mixed up because we heard them calling out Smokey……and he doesn’t have a name….so we didn’t reply. No complementary frontline plus to give us as it was his first time seeing the vet nor someone that could price match. I really wanted to purchase from there, but I just called and the person who could do the price matching is preoccupied……so I’m left to order online. AND I can get 20% off my order…… Over all good service and Dr Onaga spoke to me over the phone to say that foster kitty looked healthy.

The receptionists are friendly and our doctor (Dr. Onaga) was the best (I am honestly so jealous of my dog...I wish my human physician was this good). I called the receptionist the next morning since our dog wasn't feeling so well still and he actually called me back that afternoon before his shift started so we could briefly discuss my dog's condition and suggested options for another possible check-up and methods in which I can care for my dog at home.

This place just opened and it awesome! My dog loves it and he hates the vet. The staff is really nice and the doctor was very knowledgeable. I've been to all kinds of vets and this one is by far the best her name was Dr. Pearson. She spends a lot of time with the patients and explains everything she possibly can and the best part is she doesn't overcharge. I recommend this vet to anyone and everyone I can't wait to the doggie daycare opens my dogs are going to have so much fun. So happy that this place opened up because it's so close to my house and it's cheap.

The only thing that keeps me from giving them a 5th star is they are a bit sloppy when it comes to admin. Multiple occasions had issues with payment and mistakes with paperwork. If they get that resolved, they will be top notch

We used this Vet because they were the closest to the airport once we arrived to Hawaii and the only ones who would see my sick cat IMMEDIATELY after landing. We have used them for over two years and sad we are moving and can't use them anymore. They have always been gentle with our fur babies and truly care for every pet that walks in there doors. There on the pricer side BUT totally worth the price and they always found ways to help us save money, every single time. Both of our dogs are anxious and scared and all the vet techs, office associates, and Vets have been beyond patient with them. They've offered them treats, cheese, and kisses. Both my dogs and cat have had to be hospitalized here and they let me call as many times as I wanted, bring there favorite toys, and called to give me updated every few hours. This place is amazing and will be greatly missed!

Walk-ins are welcome, but I would recommend scheduling an appointment before-hand if possible (especially for routine, non-emergency visits) because they do charge a bit extra for walk-ins. They've taken care of my dog for almost 2 years now and I never once doubted them. The first time I brought my Okana in was when I rescued her from a terrible owner. The doctor never judged me for the condition she was in, instead, he got her started on her vaccinations, spaying, deworming, and everything to bring her back to peak health! Last year, while deworming, Okana was throwing up blood. I rushed her over there and they had her in a room within less than 2 minutes. They even worked with me on a hectic military schedule, even during the pandemic. Often times when I needed to get her in for something, they found a good time, which is incredibly hard since I often work nights. They are absolutely kind, and I as long as I am on this island I will always bring my baby girl to visit them whenever she needs anything. Highly recommended!

My dog is a patient at Kaneohe VCA. She was very sick, throwing up and constantly pooping with a lot of blood. VCA told me that we could stand by but would most likely not be able to see a vet that day. Called PetVet, they told me to bring her in. Within a couple minutes of getting there, someone came out and got my dog, a few minutes after that the doctor called me and answered all of my questions and a few minutes after that my dog was brought back to the car and payment was made at the same time. I was VERY impressed, very efficient. Price seemed a lot cheaper than VCA and they didn’t push a lot of costly testing like VCA does. That evening my dog was feeling a lot better after a shot to calm her stomach and a special prescribed diet. Although far from our house, once our VCA Care Club expires, we will be changing her over to Pet Vet.

PetVet Animal Hospital was able to see our fur baby that day (out of several clinics that were booked) at their normal appointment fee of $49.00 = $51.31 incl tax. We were referred to them by a friendly staff member of Waipi'o Pet Clinic. Due to C19 the staff PetVet will bring your pet from your vehicle into their clinic, you can't go inside. Parking is ample and you need to call/text to let them know you're on sight for your appt. They will call when the DMV has enough information to explain what is going on with your fur baby. In our case the DMV Dr Jenny Tarr came out to our vehicle to explain the situation at which point you decide the next course of action. Payment is collected on sight at your vehicle. Dr Jenny Tarr is awesome! I very highly recommend PetVet Animal Hospital

Everything is going really well for the care and service we receive from PetVet Animal Hospital!!! Kenji's visit with Dr. Onaga went very well from the very beginning. In a matter of days we got to bring Kenji in to have lumps on his body and his hind legs; which was not working properly looked at. The diagnoses we received was very comforting and it reassured us that it was not anything critical. We went away with meds for Kenji which we administered the very next day; 2 days after taking his meds he is back to normal for a 14 year old dachshund ! Thank you all for the service!!!

We LOVE PetVet! Everyone is always so nice to us and our dogs. We are greeted as soon as we walk in. Most of all we love Dr. Yasuda!!!! She is very honest and up front with us. You can truly tell how much she loves animals. Our dog was obese and she recommended a Hill's Doggy Diet food. She explained to us that we needed to feed him this food and not give treats (it was harder for us not to give treats than him eating this new food). He loves his food and our other dog wants to eat his food, too:) He has since lost weight and looks much healthier, not to mention his coat looks so shiny! I'm so happy that she recommended Hill's and explained to us very thoroughly what we need do to in order to accomplish his weigh loss. Dr. Yasuda is the BESTEST!!!! We left our dogs with them while we were on vacation (18 days), when we went to get them.....they looked very happy and they actually walked around and didn't notice us until we called them. To me, it was comforting to know that they weren't "looking" for us the entire time we were away and they felt comfortable with the staff there. I would recommend this place for sure!

Exceptional staff, technicians and doctors. They REALLY care and pay close attention to everything you tell them or ask about your fur babies! Unlike some other facilities, PetVet tells you straight-up what the problem(s) could be and your best options for treatment. If you require a specialist (I.e. interest), they'll tell you. Unlike others, they won't just prescribed something and say 'let's see how this works'. They're also sensitive to the financial situations of your loved ones case(s) and will work with you in that area as well. When my little boy contracted Parvo, they whisked him in and immediately started IV and other treatments for him. He had round the clock attention and care with at least one dedicated technician, associates and doctors caring for him. I was allowed to visit him daily, even though he was 'quarantined' and provided him with as much love and comfort as I could and helped to feed him. The staff did the same. Visiting with him often and keeping him calm and loved. He recovered within 2-1/2 days! Almost unheard of with Parvo! When he got home, it was as if he'd never been sick. Back to his old self, causing mischief and mayhem with his siblings, myself and my hubby! We were so terrified at first, but our doctor was confident and the staff extraordinary! Bless them for all they do! The facility is always pristine, cozy and everyone is attentive, cheerful and friendly. Plenty of goodies to get for your babies as well. Such great teamwork and doctors in one place! They even offer boarding and play dates for your pets upon request. I highly recommend PetVet to anyone with little ones they love so dearly.

I had taken him to a couple of other vets before for other reasons and really was not very impressed, so I called them on the recommendation of a friend. I am SO glad I did! AMAZING!!!! Dog breed: chihuahua, papillon, terrier mix Dr: Onaga Super clean, extremely friendly staff, and great doctors. I was worried about my older dog because he had a dislocated hip in the past. The doc at WWPH recommended a surgery but I didn't want to because my older dog is already 12 yrs old at the time (16 now) and i didn't think he could survive a surgery. When i mentioned this to Dr. Onaga, he told me that it was unusual to recommend such a surgery that is usually for larger dogs. I totally felt cheated by WWPH doctors. Dr. O then continued to say that for small dogs like mine, surgery isn't even necessary. I have also told my previous drs about my baby dog who doesn't seem to have visible balls. The doctors at other pet hospitals will say they have not come down yet. But every time I go (over many years and many doctors) they tell me they just haven't come down. Well my baby dog is already 4. I told dr. O my concerns and he felt around and said that he should be able to feel them near my dog's private if they haven't come down, but they were no where to be felt. So he said that they are probably in his abdomen and would require an extensive surgery to get them removed. I'm livid because doctors in the past have not said any of this as a possibility!! There are so many good things to say about this place. I also boarded with them when my husband and i went on vacation. The rate is amazing and makes me wonder why I have boarded elsewhere where they charged the SAME amount for 4 days vs 11 days!!! When we boarded with them it was when Hurricane Lane was coming. I wasn't sure if my flight would take off or if it would be safe to leave my dogs there. The staff were very patient, left me messages and called mr back confirming everything is ok and they didn't even sound annoyed at my constant worry and calling. I aporeciate the staff and doctors there. I will continue to go there and recommend this place to everyone with a furry baby.

We were referred to a specialist and Dr. Yasuda made all the arrangements. Even if the outcome was uncertain, her professional exam and obvious care helped keep us steady. Took my new puppy to Kalihi Pet Clinic because of all the recent positive reviews. KPC is one that provides a free visit within a week of adopting from the Humane Society. I waited for an hour and a half to be seen. Once seen, I asked when Sophie's next round of shots will be, requested her be tested for worms, etc. Nothing crazy; just basic things. They kept coming up with excuses. I told them I'd pay for everything extra, but still no luck. They said until she is showing signs of an illness, there was no reason to do anything. Two days later, I noticed she had worms in her stool. I decided to bring her to Pet Vet. They ran tests, did a full check up, and set me up with exact dates for future vaccines and check ups. Even more, they waived the check up fee. In summary, if you want to pay to have someone tell you your dog is cute, go to Kalihi Pet Clinic. If you want medical attention, guidance, questions answered, and all the information you could possibly need- Come see Dr. Pearson!!

Fast service for walkins at a reasonable rate as well. Regular services are 49-59 and its 20.00 more for walkins. Dr. Tarr was amazing of course if you get xrays its expensive but it's your choice. They don't push services it's always up to you but this place makes you feel good about your decisions if you choose not to go with extra expenses. I opted for the xrays just to be sure.
