We have been going to Animal House Veterinary Center since 2009 when Emo, my papillon/chih dog was just 2 months old weighing in at 2.3 pounds! Now Emo is 13 years old and going strong! WIth the kindness and total care shown to Emo from Dr. Mead and her team, I can tell we are being given top quality care because Emo wears a smile on his face. That says it all, really! I'm attaching photos of Emo through the years, take a look for yourself and you'll see a very content boy!! Thank you Animal House!

All the staff is very excellent. Koa loves attention to a fault, Lol, but they always take time to stop what they’re doing and say hi to Koa. That small gesture alone proves they care and they appreciate you. Koa always seems to be happy every time we go to the Vet. If Koa is happy, we’re happy. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They were able to answer all my questions and provide good recommendations. The facility was a little dirt I could see dirt and grim on the floor so I was hesitant to let my cat walk around in the room. Location is attached to a mechanic shop, which I know isn’t there fault but rather inconvenient due to the noise. I will continue service but I hope to see more cleanliness in the future.

Abit pricey and sadly it's the only close veterinary clinic I can go for my pets due to time problem because of work. However, they're very friendly and willing to arrange things on appointments with my difficult work schedule. They tried to a closer date for appointment to help me when I first got my puppy and he had worms for a week. He got better quick after visiting them. They're also helping me with my fleas and thick problems on my puppy and cats.

Friendly staff, kind to the animals, conveniently located near other pet services, and good prices. Appointment availability are usually between a week or two based on service, which is pretty good for being in hawaii. Had my pet in within 7 days or so of calling. Will continue to use this location.

Animal House staff was very accommodating, patient, and understanding of our rescue dog and her needs. She is a fearful dog who has high anxiety in unfamiliar environments, but staff at Animal House made sure she was comfortable and took their time with her.

I was on time for my appointment at 10:30. Initial check-in was completed within 3 minutes of arrival. The next 45 minutes was spent sitting in the examination room waiting for my dog's annual health examination to start. Unsat!

New to Ewa Beach we needed a veterinarian office so our dog could be seen. Local search found this business. Our experience was amazing. The staff was very professional and seemed to take an active interest in getting to know our pet. The doctor did a thorough exam and explained everything to us as he went along. Even our dig Willow seemed to love them even after getting shots. Costs seemed reasonable. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vet in Ewa.

The experience here was wonderful especially being we've never gone to a vet before. The staff was kind during our visit and took care in listening to us explain our pets situation, and even more care in explaining to us what their thoughts were on the issue and giving us options on how to go about treatment. They also handled our dog with care, she's always terrified meeting new people but they handled her gently and were swift in what they needed to do for checkup so she wouldn't be uncomfortable. What was especially nice was the opportunity of choice for a lower cost visit that covered basic needs for our dog at that moment and then a higher cost for the visit to cover her entire health. It was definitely pricey either way but that feels expected when it comes to taking care of our furry pets, and having the option of saving some money here and there definitely helps. They also broke down the different charges so we wouldn't be left confused as to what exactly we were being charged for on our bill, and even gave us articles to help explain some of the medications they wanted us to give to our pup. It feels like a lot of care and consideration goes into taking care of pets here and listening to the owners so it means a lot! We're going to be doing a check up visit in a couple of weeks to see how my pups improved in her health and we are looking forward to visiting here again.

When my pet chachabella passed they treated us like family. Sent a condolence card signed by staff made me feel good, brought tears to my eyes. Took care of her cremation quickly so she could be returned to me. Very loving staff just like family.

These gals are awesome. They really care for our 4 legged son and took extra steps to provide the care he needed. He has an extended family there. I recommend them if u need the special care and urgent. It was our 1st time there and that's saying alot for a first visit and surgery to follow. Thank u for you awesome work on Kai!!!!

We lived in Kapolei seven years and had several indoor cats and cared for a feral colony as well. We tried two other local veterinary places before we came to Animal House. Animal house's veterinary doctors and staff far surpassed any care we have had in the past, hands down. The doctors and staff cared for our animals as if they were their own! They also helped us with our special needs cat on a regular basis. They took time to explain and educate us concerning our animals needs. When we needed to return to the Mainland they were instrumental in preparing our cats for safe and legal transport, helping us with all the required exams, immunizations and paperwork. Animal houses prices are very reasonable and they also have discounts for multiple pets. They also have an excellent dental service at a very reasonable price. Animal House's staff are friendly, caring, and interested in doing the absolute best for your animal. If you want the best possible care for your pet you have definitely found the right place!

Our fur baby, Senshi, is now 12 yrs old. And with age come health issues. We've had to take him to 24hr ER clinic several times. They encouraged us to get Senshi a family doctor and we choose Animal House Vet. They had great reviews but I was still nervous. Our first visit, the staff was so helpful and friendly. The vet tech was so loving and our Senshi loves attention! Animal House Vet also provides boarding and we decided to take advantage of their service during our recent family staycation. They did such a good job with Senshi. When I went to pick him up, he looked like he had a vacation himself. Senshi looked happy and refreshed. We got a report from the vet tech telling us he was such a good boy for them. I highly recommend this vet for your fur baby.

My wife and my own choice for doggy care. Have 2 dogs, and one had been bitten by a neighborhood dog. Animal house took care of him very well, my wife wants to give a shout out to Dr mullen's for the amazing care, and the prices are great.

When we got there all of the staff were very friendly. Our Dog kea is fairly new in our family and she is afraid of everything, Kea settled down with the young lady and the Veterinarian They were able to befriend Kea by getting down on the floor with her and speaking in a calm matter. Of course the treats they share Kea loved them, this always tend to win her over.

These folks did a surgery on our baby cat and she had a bad reaction to anesthesia. They did everything they could to help our little fur ball and waived almost all the fees, gave us everything possible to help her and were tremendously kind to my family through the whole experience. We have taken our three dogs to Animal House several times, for treatments as well as boarding. We are extremely pleased with the friendliness of the staff and their obvious love for the animals under their care. One time when we came to retrieve our pets, one staff member said, jokingly, that we could not take one home with us because she had to stay there because all the staff loved her so much.The doctor there is wonderful, and even called us after we had blood work done to report that all the labs were normal. No Vet had ever done this for us before. Prices seem very reasonable to us, and the overall good feeling that we get from our visits is priceless. We are lucky to have a place like Animal House only a few miles away.

My cat's technician was Deidra and I thought it was so sweet how she mentioned she had him for his last appointment (vaccine boosters). I LOVE this place. From surgery and vaccines to something as simple as nail trimming, Animal House gives my dog their very best. The staff is always wonderful to me and my pet and the veterinarians there are gentle and kind. The doctors, nurses and entire staff at Animal House Veterinary Center are exceptional. Their customer service is excellent, from scheduling appointments, sending reminder notices and treating our puppy with love and care that she thrives for. She just loves the treats and attention that she receives from the staff. Our puppy was recently neutured and she healed up fine. You wouldn't even know that she was spade because the scar is very minimal to none at sight. Thank you for the outstanding service. See you soon.

This vet clinic is the best on the island! I drive 45 mins to get to them. The staff is friendly and welcoming! I have 4 dogs and a cat and one of my pups had a ruff past, and is not very excited to visit the vet. They are very accommodating!!! And even though she can get grumpy, they give her the best care and treatment!!!! I can't praise the staff enough love this vet clinic and how much they care for your furry family members!!!!!!!

I have been going here for my 2 cats for years. I love the service that they provide for my cats. I just wish they were more open to customers. I just recently went to get my cats vaccinated. And was told it was a cheap price, but then got slapped with a bunch of hidden fees that were not discussed before hand. I paid for it but it felt really fishy and bad since I have been going here for years. This is the only reason I do not give them the 5 star.

I love Animal House Vet Clinic. I've been to several vet clinics on island, but they are by far the best. We've been taking our pets there since 2010 and we've never had a bad experience with them. The staff is always so friendly, helpful and actually care for the well being of your pets. If your pet has serious issues, like one of our kitties did, they will do whatever they can to help either solve the problem or make them as comfortable as possible treating symptoms and such. When it came time to say goodbye to our fur kiddo, everyone treated her and us with such respect and compassion. Whether it's for just a wellness checkup or for an emergency visit, you will get wonderful and affordable care from exceptional staff. I couldn't recommend them more!

I can’t say enough how much I love this office and appreciate their staff! After a horrible experience at VERC I was extremely apprehensive and stressed about finding quality care for my dog. This office treated her like she was their own. They explained everything to me before doing anything to my baby. They were so nice and extremely professional, as well as honest! If you are in the Ewa area or are willing to travel, I definitely recommend this vet! Also, if your dog is dealing with cancer, this office has a relationship with VCA family and animal. Every time that I have been to Animal House Vet the staff has been extremely helpful and treated both myself and my dog as ohana. I have recommended Animal House to my friends because they take care of you and your pet during the appointment, but the attention doesn't end there they contacted me after to check in and make sure that all the follow-up care that was needed was satisfactory and to make sure that my dog was doing okay after his treatment at another facility since it was not a service that could be provided at Animal House. I am thankful that I made the trip out to Animal House and will continue taking my pets there in the future!

Dr.Mead is my veterinarian by choice! She and I worked side by side trying to keep my Anela out of trouble. Brook is my favorite technician cause she really cares and spoils me and my dog(s). My dogs and I love Animal House! I live in town but I drive 30-60 minutes each way (depending on traffic) to bring my dogs to Animal House because they get wonderful care for their somewhat complex issues (both dogs were adopted as seniors with significant health problems resulting from their previous living environments). Also, we board the dogs at Animal House when we travel and one of my dogs basically hates everyone - but he actually likes the kennel attendants there! So that is pretty amazing. I recommend Animal House to everyone I know with pets!

The Nexgaurd is a tad bit expensive and so is some other services but it’s pretty worth it (kinda, not all of them) for the quality they provide to your pets! They have specials every month to make up for it though. They’re friendly and will help you out when you call them. 9/10 will refer and bring Marcy back again! (Lucky to have them be the first veterinarian experience we have for our doggo too!) Big thanks to Dr. Rachel Caballero for helping Marcy along with the vet techs too!

Our cat required surgery, which, they acknowledged was unexpected, expensive and stressful. They performed a challenging procedure and brought it in at the most reasonable price. We have lived in Ewa Beach for 10 years, and had four cats and a dog. We have bounce between two vet clinics--Animal House and VCA in Pearl City. We only started going to VCA since it is open at funny hours. Animal House is only a five minute drive, so it is the most logical one for us, and we have been there a hundred times for our pets. In all of those visits I can say that we only had one were I walked away feeling like we did not get great service, and it was almost 5 years ago. And, to be honest, I think it was mostly because I was a worried owner dealing with a doctor who did not see anything worth getting to spun up over. The staff at the front desk it always busy, and I know that sometimes you have to wait a couple minutes for help--but you can see that they are working hard and juggling a lot of things. They are very attentive, and care. The extra wait is worth it. Right now they have at least three doctors on staff that I would trust my dog or cat with in a heartbeat. And while I have not seen the other doctors, I assume that they are just as good. Please ignore the bad reviews. I have been going to them now for a long time, and can confidently say that they are excellent vets who really do care about your pets.

When I moved from Ewa to on post, I tried taking one of my pets to a vet nearby. I did NOT like my experience as well as the lack of explaining anything to me about current or future care of my pet. Additionally, we experienced a loss of our beloved cat and everyone at Animal House treated my situation better than I ever thought. We even got a card in the mail. I will make the drive out to Ewa and never see anyone else no matter how much I save. My pets seem to love going there as well.

Each time we brought our kittens in for vaccinations and checkups, the front staff was friendly and the vets and vet assistants were very attentive to our kittens, always swooning over them and loving on them. Our little Aisu & Akamai are definitely in good hands here! Update: 1 1/2 years later & we adopted a feral that had been hanging out at our home for nearly a year. They were great when we brought him in and very gentle, as he was quite scared. Marmalade is in great hands, along with his "brothers". All are just over 1 1/2 years old.

Our family has been with Animal House for over 10 years. They are always very cheerful, and obviously care about the animals. They always try to work with you, if you can't quite afford a bill -- it's obvious that the health of pets is more important to them than making money, and I think that they probably don't do much more than break even. My friend referred me to the Animal House Veterinary Ctr and I've been very impressed with the entire staff...they do care for your pet and are very gentle during examinations/shots. I also like the exam sitting room--allows you time to calm your pet. They are very thorough and explain the processes, options, and their fees seem reasonable.

Absolutely amazing staff. They were super friendly and helpful. Being military they suggested I went to a military clinic to help keep costs low and didn't charge me a dime for the consultation. They are not over priced for the island especially if you want a vet you can trust that will work with you and give you the information you need for your pet. Thank you!

If it were possible to give 1 million stars, I would. We were so nervous to find a vet after moving to the island 2 months ago. This is BY FAR the best vet we have ever been too. Our 1 year old Vizsla (Mattis) has vet anxiety after a couple of poor experiences he had at a vet on the mainland before we moved to the island. Dr. Mullins at Animal House listened when we told her he gets nervous, and she took the time to really love on and get to know mattis before even examining him. She took him outside where he was more in his comfort zone and SHE walked him around to build trust with him before taking him into an exam room. Every single vet tech, front office staff, and employee there is so kind, patient, and really wants to make your dog and you as the owner comfortable. I feel such a relief knowing that we have them here whenever Mattis needs a care from here on out. They are reasonably priced, but I would pay triple for them based on their level of care and expertise! Highly recommend them for all pets.

Animal House Veterinary Center is the only place I will take my pets to. My husband and I had a 100 lb pit bull mix rescue. We live in town and decided it would be easier to find a vet in town. Every vet we took him to, were terrified of him. They insisted on muzzling him and having extra techs hold him down when he went for check ups. It was too stressful on our dog that we took a chance and drove out to Ewa Beach to see Dr. Hatt. Not only did he take her immediately, they never had to muzzle him or restrain him. She got down on the floor with him with no fear. She was the only vet that made him comfortable. A few years ago, his health took a serious turn for the worse. And my husband and I had to make the most difficult decision to let him go and not suffer anymore. Unfortunately, Dr. Hatt was not working the day we were going to bring him in. She was on vacation. But when we showed up at Animal House, Dr. Hatt had come down to be with him in his final hour. My husband and I couldn't believe it. Even our dog had enough energy to give her a few more kisses before he left us. We can't say enough great things about Dr. Hatt. Her sacrifice to come in during her vacation to put our dog to rest was truly selfless act. Her sincerity and kindness knows no bounds. It's rare to meet a vet who truly appreciates all animals regardless of how big or small they are. Her hard work and dedication to her patients and the patients owners is immeasurable. In the last few years, Dr. Lau an Dr. Mead have joined the staff. Our other dogs just love them both. They are both just as caring and thoughtful as Dr. Hatt. Both our dogs are always pleased to see them. Even knowing they are at the vet. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile to answer questions and to put our minds at ease if we are anxious about the health of our animal family members. There is truly no better place to take you furry friends to. You will be very happy with the service you receive from this great vet.

We took our chihuahua/terrier (12 yrs old) for his yrly physical and were happy with the tlc that was administered. He has a tumor and they checked it to see if it was cancerous. we r on a limited income (social security) and they suggested we bring him back for teeth cleaning when they have a sale in September. Our dog did not shake until we were almost done and that is unheard of. Our dog is going blind due to retina disease and they went out of their way to see if he had any vision at all. I was impressed at the great bedside manner and also sensitivity to our lack of funds...

We were a walk-in needing help with our feline family member. Dr. Lau and the team welcomed us in and helped us through one of the most difficult decisions for our ur family. We had to say goodbye to Bridgette who was 17 1/2 years old... She became very ill over a few short days and we did not want her to suffer more over days, weeks, and possibly months of uncertainty. Especially when many days would have kept her away from her family... She has been with us since she was 1 years old and only separated for 3 days.
