This team is extremely responsive to your pets needs and the support is next to none. My cat was faced with bone cancer and the diagnosis hit me hard but the team not only did an awesome helping me get through the initial shock but sat with me and went into great depth on options for Simba’s path to recovery. Simba at 13 years old had surgery on his leg and has fully recovered and enjoying life again.

Did our research before picking a vet for our cat. Best decision ever. They're a little pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for. Both the vet and her assistant were kind and patient with my rescue boy. We found really early kidney disease, which she explained was early enough that she said if we swap his food, his lifespan may not even be effected. It's in the "high normal" so not quite elevated yet. During his follow up exam she noticed his bladder seemed really large. The next day the office actually called back to follow up to make sure he peed and that it was just a full bladder and not something more serious. He did indeed have a long pee when we had returned home that day lol.

Great veterinary center! We were visiting a friend in the area with our dog who had been neutered that morning when it looked like he may have opened up one of his stitches at 1am. We called then headed down and the vet confirmed he was in fact alright but gave us an Elizabethan collar for him and sent us on our way. All they charged us for was the collar - no visit fees or anything and they were very helpful and kind, especially given it was the middle of the night.

Dr. Morales, in addition to having expert skills to diagnose your pet’s issue, is the kindest and most compassionate veterinarian I have ever met in a lifetime of having pets. Everyone on staff at the facility is just terrific, they are extremely helpful, friendly, and patient, and their love of animals and commitment to service comes through in everything they do. No one ever wants to have to come here, but if you do just know the staff and vets were incredible. Each visit we were treated with tremendous care, my family and I felt very well taken care of throughout a time of sadness. Highly recommend coming here if necessary.

I took my cat here on 2/22 as she injured her back paw. She was treated and cared for in 3hrs. I was told i couldnt leave and had to wait there, on top of the fee for being seeni I wasted 1/4 tank of gas. The vet called 2hrs later and was so impersonal, more like she was a thing and not my fur baby. While I appreciate what she did its time to ooen your doors! Every other facility is now open how can vets continue with this practice???? The one thing I don't understand is how they still do not let you in with your pet. ,How is it that a vetinarian hospital does not allow the owners in the facility, there were 5 us waiting outside while the waiting room was empty. Hospitals let you in the facility, let's get beyond the Covid-19, we wouldn't drop our children off and wait in the car. It's time you open your doors to the public and actually have conversations with the pet owners, again I appreciate you taking care of my fur baby, but not keeping me outside!!!

I have taken my puppies here more than once now. At this point, we have agreed we will never bring our animals anywhere else in an emergency. They have always done their best to take in for observation if even they can't see my dog immediately. There is nothing like being forced to wait with your dog in an emergency situation in the parking lot for hours, and New England Veterinary Center does everything they can to ensure that doesn't happen. For that reason alone they stand above most (if not all) other emergency vets in the area. Beyond that the staff are incredibly friendly, explain everything in full, take the time to answer any questions and put the care and well-being of our animals first with consent. Living just outside of Hartford I have options locally in Canton and West Hartford, although, I will now always make the extra drive to Windsor.

We had to bring our dog here for eating a lot of something that she should not have. As I was waiting for the vet to call I went through the reviews and was getting extremely nervous about the cost. Do not go by other reviews. I have been to many vets as we also own livestock the total for this emergency visit was extremely reasonable and the staff was beyond amazing. If you ever have an emergency this is the best place to go

Absolutely recommend to any and all of my friends and family members. They took care of our yorkshire terrier like he was their own, seriously he didn't want to leave. I was hesitant to go based on reviews, but their prices ARE fair for the best care. Thank you lovely ladies that made sure my puppy came home happy and most importantly healthy.

The staff here are incredibly kind. Had gone to have our family pet put peacefully to rest to avoid their suffering any longer. They were understanding, walked us through everything bit by bit and gave us plenty of privacy when needed. She was very professional, thurough with his care and very knowledgeable. To the staff- Thank you all for caring for our Quincey Bear, you gave us one last birthday and one last Christmas with him. ❤️

Great care, not always a long wait. This is the view while waiting outside. There are 2 picnic tables. You have to stay in the parking lot while your animal friend is being seen. They take the time to talk patiently with you about care, outcomes, needs, options. Highly recommend.

Been coming here for years; like the fact that it is also an emergency hospital and close to me. One downside is making appointments: last appointment was made weeks ago for morning (wellness/annual for 2 cats), the reminder voicemail had a different time. I called to correct, but could not. This is not the first time that this has happened. Office staff needs to be better at this and/or an email needs to go out as soon as appointment is made to make sure all is correct. Please remember that we, the humans, are the ones paying the bills; we are not all retired, WFH or independently wealthy. Some of us have to take time off work to bring in our pets; things need to be scheduled correctly.

Overall a very good experience here. We brought our dog here on a Saturday, we were looking to get a wound stitched. We were told that it'd be at least a 4-6 hour wait since other animals were schedule. They helped us out with more info and places to call. We spent 4 hours on the phone trying to contact other facilities on the list we were provided, but these other places were no help at all. We were desperate just to get our dog in and to be seen and have the wound taken care of. So, I called and they told us to bring him in and they'd try their best to see him ASAP. We were there for only 90 mins and were provided excellent care, the price of everything wasn't bad either especially for a emergency visit. Thank you to all !

I brought my cat here a year ago. The nurse and vet were great and compassionate called multiple times to check in. I brought my dog today. And aside from the lady at intake everyone could've been a little nicer. Nobody wants to spend all that money and have hurt animals. A little kindness goes a long way. But my puppy was treated and okay. I just recently came again and Dr Murry completely redeamed my faith in them. They were great last night even though they were perfect to my baby

My significant other and I had made a visit to this vet for our beloved dog. We made the decision that it was best for our baby boy to go to doggy heaven so he would no longer suffer. From the time we arrived until the time we departed, the staff was AMAZING! They made the worse of our situation feel at ease a bit. They were so sympathetic and understanding to our feelings and wishes and took care of our baby boy at the last moments of his life. We could not be more pleased with our experience! We took our elderly cat for an emergency visit and we were greeted with professionalism, understanding and informative care each step of the way. A doctor came to meet us at the door to triage the situation and gave us realistic estimates on what to expect. Every step of the way we received updates from the vet caring for our pet with detailed explanations in terms we could understand. In no way did they try to rush us off the phone or steer our decision in one way vs another and were very compassionate and understanding. The entire staff were excellent. One of the techs bringing other owners their pets was an obvious animal lover, even brushing snow off the seat of the car and off the pet after they climbed in and always had a smile on. The discharge instructions were very concise and easy to read and they were very thorough in reviewing them. They made sure to give our pet some pain medication so he was comfortable on the way home. We did have to wait for about 3 hours but it was not even an issue because with all of the updates time flew by and our anxiety from not being in the building was relieved right away. I wish we could give them more than 5 stars! There is literally nothing bad to say. <3 <3 <3

Our cats have been regular patients here and when one of our senior cats developed Bladder Stones and cancer--the service and treatment could not have been better. A great team of doctors and they help you make the decisions that are right for your family and your pet. My cat is responding to well to treatment and we could not be more pleased!

From the time I dropped my girl Zoey off at the front door to the girls in billing they were great. Took Zoey right in and checked her right away. Dr. Ana Simpson Evans was a wonderful Doctor explained everything to me. She had a treatment plan in five six hours and it worked. Blake Zoey’s nurse in the ICU was was also another caring, professional, they made me feel safe leaving Zoey in the hospital when I told him I didn’t want Zoey to think I just left her there. The way he told me not to worry about it that she would be fine that he was spending time with her during the plasma and transfusions I felt a lot better. Every time I called to ask how Zoey was doing the Doctor or Blake would give me the time to explain how she was doing and didn’t rush me on the phone. They are very busy being a 24 hour hospital and they always took the time to explain things and I did not feel rushed on the phone at all. If anyone needs emergency care for their fur baby’s you can feel safe bringing them here. THANK YOU ALL I APPRECIATE ALL YOU HAVE DO E FOR MY GIRL and would recommend the hospital to anyone that needs great help.

The staff was wonderful during such a difficult time. The veterinarian was incredibly compassionate and supportive, even sitting on the floor with us and our girl. I also appreciated that the veterinarian did not try to push any expensive treatments. The staff was totally honest with us right from triage, giving us the option of going to a different business that offered another form of diagnostics so as to save time and money. That told me that they care about the animals and the owners.

I started bringing my cat Cutie I'm here immediately after I had to put his brother down. They are professional here and they listen to me when I tell them what's going on with my cat. Cutie really likes his Doctor Dr Chameroy. She's a first because he doesn't trust too many people. The quality of care is what's important to me and not the rush of getting your pet in to be seen and you're out in 5-10 minutes. I like it here and I like his doctor.

I had a very pleasant experience with NEVC after my dog punctured her chest on a stick while on vacation. The staff was very professional and caring, the vet was informative about the procedures completed and the nurse made sure to answer any questions and review the medication instructions. My husband and I unfortunately had to euthanize our dog at an emergency visit to the hospital. The staff there could not have been kinder to us. Dr Morales explained everything and gave us all the time we needed to decide how to handle the terrible situation. We will always to grateful to them for the comfort they gave us.

We had to bring our dog today to be put to sleep. They were wonderful. They immediately brought us in, gave us time with our dog, explained everything that was going to happen and gave us the financial breakdown. They also are handling the cremation process. A difficult situation was handled professionally and empathetically! I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Vet was very nice and so was all the staff we encountered in person and on the phone. Visit was about 2 hours in total which was much quicker than the 6 to 8 hour wait at all other places we called. At the present time you still have to wait in your car. Total bill was about what we expected for our cat (who is feeling much better).

I love these guys. I drove 80 to and back twice this week. My little guy has an aggressive mast cell tumor that needed immediate attention CUVS was terrific and attentive telling me they could get me in sometime in July—WTf!!?? Why even present your services in cancer treatment if you are effectively not taking “new” patients…Angell Animal in Boston area at least alerts you that they will no the t try air on new patients. Back to NEVCC—they are caring and understand the urgency of each individual case…the surgeon, doctors and attendants are awesome…if I had one issue it might be on the front desk—maybe they could drop the attitude and understand it costs nothing to be nice to the patient owners going through immense stress. Thank you NEVCC!

We took our poor puppy here after she got quilled by a porcupine. Was the only place at all close to us with any availability in the evening, and they were still very busy. They were kind, professional, and did an excellent job helping our puppy. They seem like really good people here, and it felt like our puppy was in good hands.

After my local vet could not see my failing elderly kitty for another week and she was declining quickly I decided to bring her here. Like any other ER you are going to wait and patients are triaged based on the severity of their emergencies. I knew going there that I could be waiting many hours and was prepared for it. Due to covid protocols we were met in the vestibule by a staff member who documented why we were there and explained the process to me and approximate base cost which would include the visit itself, x-ray, ultrasound, blood work etc. I personally feel that this price was very reasonable for what was included as my local vet is very expensive to begin with. I was also told that wait times were between 3 and 4 hours. They took my baby in and I went to my car to finish paperwork, I brought the paperwork to the window and went back to my car to wait. All and all my wait time was about 3.5 hours before speaking with the vet. The vet very sweetly explained the findings of her ultrasound and blood work and gave me what my options were and what the outcomes could be for the treatments; unfortunately due to her age and medical condition anything we did for her would’ve been for my benefit not hers so we decided that humane euthanasia was the best decision for my sweet girl. They were amazing with her and gave me all the time I needed to be with her to say goodbye and I was able to be present and held her until she had passed. Their compassion and sympathy was wonderful and although I hope I do not need to return there with my other kitty I will certainly bring him here if the need arises.

It's never fun to have to take your baby to the emergency vet. However, NE Veterinary Center was absolutely AMAZING. They were kind, compassionate, caring, etc. I was so scared for my puppy, and I was very obviously upset. They eased by mind, and I was blown away by the level of care that my Alfie received. I will always refer others to this practice. I feel very fortunate to have them only 30 minutes away.

My 5 year old golden suddenly had issues walking. It was 11PM and no vets near me open. So I took her here and hoped for the best. I was worried about cost, and heard from some that they focus on money. That was not what I experienced. The staff were very kind, and the Dr I spoke to gave us some medication and told me his opinion, and wanted me to not spend any more than I absolutely had to. The price wasn’t super cheap, but it was way less than I expected for an ER vet, given past experiences elsewhere. So far my girl is doing well a little over a week after the visit. I am grateful for this team, and would recommend them to anyone.

Recently my Yorkie, Lila was attacked by a large dog in the neighborhood. She required emergency care. The staff took her from me after a quick briefing on what happened and ran with her to the treatment area. I then finished up her intake process. She needed emergency surgery, overnight care etc. I was kept informed throughout the entire time of her care and well being. I felt her care, their professionalism, and the hospital were equivalent to something anyone of us would be seen at! The cost, I felt was far under what I expected, especially after dealing with some previous animal hospitals in Massachusetts. I continue to receive phone calls a month out asking for updates on how she is doing. My pup is mending, she will never be as good as new, but I credit Dr Oyola and the team for saving her life. I will definitely be using them as her primary care facility from here forward.

When I went both time, they were kind and respectful. The first time I went, there was a long line almost wrapped around the building. The clients were getting antsy and starting to become rude. I was horrified at the clients behavior. Still, the team at NEVC remained kind and courteous. The second time I went, they were still very nice and respectful. I got an apology multiple times explaining how they're crazy busy and how it will be more than a few hours. Being someone that works with the average consumer, I completely understood. They were frantic to help everyone but they just didn't have the manpower on staff to service everybody at once. While they are a little more on the expensive side, they make up for it with fantastic customer service. I will 100% recommend this vet (emergency or no) to everyone. Thank you, NEVC staff, for making a very painful experience bearable.

I'm very mixed about this review. I have had nothing but exceptional care from this clinic and used them for emergency needs for the past 6 years. However a few months ago, I had an emergent situation with my dog and was told that they were at capacity and couldn't accept her. I get that, but they were unable to give me a referral to anyone that could take her and I was in a scramble trying to find another location, then drive halfway across the state with critically I'll animal. Very stressful.

My sweet boy was suffering and failing to thrive. He unfortunately had to be euthanized. The staff was kind and compassionate. They brought us right in and set us up in a room. They allowed us to stay as long as we needed to spend our final moments with our sweet, beautiful boy. This vet is awesome!!! They were not intimidated by the breed of my dog and actually seemed to enjoy his visit. I brought my 16 yr old Maltese in last night. He was circling and bobbing his head. He had been through a very stressful event earlier. I was sure this was it. I walked in and the receptionist was on the phone, she acknowledged me and finished her call. Very professional. While we were waiting in the exam room, I got down on the floor with my dog. Both the vet tech and the vet examined him on the floor where he was calm. Fortunately, my dog is okay. He has issues related to age. The vet discussed treatment options and answered all my questions. I did not feel like she was rushing me at all. There was a bit of waiting, however, considering it was a Friday night with 5 emergencies, I did not mind. Everyone was friendly and professional. I was surprised how reasonable the bill was. It's a wonderful facility, very clean, in a great location.

I cannot say enough about everyone who my dog and my family came in contact with at New England Veterinary Center! Personal contact, compassion, honesty in diagnosis and sincere caring! My dog had his leg amputated with some complications and the communication, care and cost was OUTSTANDING! We also needed the ER and the care and service was excellent. If you need a surgeon or emergency services you don't need to worry, go there for the best care possible for your pet!

We were referred by our vet from East Hartford Animal Clinic. Dr. Nettles was compassionate, explained her diagnosis is easy-to-understand English. Yesterday (Saturday) I had an emergency with my beloved cat, who was vomiting, not eating, and very subdued - something very wrong. I had a long wait, but she was seen and thoroughly evaluated. Dr.Meenan and staff did a good job. It was expensive because multiple tests needed. How else to help a distressed animal you haven't seen before and have no records on? My pet was stabilized and treated well. I am grateful this clinic is available. I hope this team continues to provide effective and compassionate care. They are an important service in this area.

I bring my 13 week old German Shepard as well as my mom’s 9 year old Golden Retriever! They are amazing there Dr Chameroy as well as her assistant Christina are awesome Dr Chameroy answers all questions and concerns you may have about your pet she doesn’t rush you away. Christina is very gentle and loving with the animals and shows she truly cares! I wouldn’t bring my animals anywhere else!

We had to take our 7month old Shepard when she inhaled a treat, ended up with pneumonia. The staff were great and they took excellent care of our Roxy. Dont like not being able to go in but, due to the times we live in. I understand. Only downside was the "COST" Definitely not cheap.

We have been bringing our Tyson here since he rescued us over 10 yrs ago. This is the BEST Veterinary Hospital around!! The team here is very professional, patient and caring. Tyson has recently had to have two surgeries and the team there was absolutely outstanding with his care as usual and the cost was very reasonably priced to my surprise. Dr. Nelson was the surgeon who took care of my baby Tyson. NEVCC is awesome. I wouldn’t take any of my family members (pets) anywhere else. ❤️❤️

My cat had urinary blockage over the weekend and I had to bring him in since this was the only 24 hr care in my area. As a pet owner, you have to go into this knowing that it's a possibility to be a lot of money. Especially emergency services and life threatening. They are really just doing their job and I base my review on how it was presented to me and customer service etc. And having been through a situation like this with past pets ... it was easier as I knew what to expect. With that said, the staff were very friendly with me with initial greeting and meeting with doctor and going over what exactly was wrong with my cat and all of my options. We ended up going with the procedure to unblock him and they were there every step of the way as he had to stay 3 days. They called me with updates and I visited and overall was a pleasant experience. I really did feel like they cared for my pet and to me that's all that matters in the end. Thank you!

While all the staff is friendly here, I love the way Dr Rachael Currao presents herself and the way she takes care of my Yellow Lab. She is very professional, very knowledgeable, listens to my concerns, and addresses every question with very specific details. My Lab had surgery there to repair a knee cap and tore ACL and I know I made the right decision. She's not 100% yet, but the surgery has given her the chance to lead a normal, physical life. Thank you for all you do! I appreciate all of you!

5-21 call about 9 pm speak to a person about our cat issue. Didn't seem to know much even though she stated was Vet Tech and knows slot about cats. Asked for someone above her. Now next person get on phone and states she is a Vet Tech. Asked about the previous person and told a assistant tech. First person lied. Now asked for appointment for tomorrow and we are told gonna be emergency rate. Told them we are a client and was last in around Sept for routine check up.. Oh we don't have any appointments on Wednesday so you will have to pay emergency rate. Are you kidding me? I see other people say expensive. Now I see why. Need better supervision. Dennis Murray

To all those who will state that New England Veterinary Center is "just after your money" realistically cannot comprehend the cost of operating an Emergency hospital. I have never once felt that the staff recommended a single unnecessary procedure or have ever charged me an unreasonable price for their services. I presented my kitten on emergency to the hospital and it was immediately clear that he could not wait another month and a half to his originally schedule appointment with Dr. Greenberg, the hospitals opthamolgist. The very next morning I was allowed to drop my kitten off to be seen amongst her already fully booked schedule. Not only did she still see him in a timely manner, she personally contacted me every step of the way, making everything completely clear to me as to what needed to be done and why, and readily took the time to answer any and all questions I had. Every single staff member I interacted with throughout his care was polite, knowledgeable and passionate about their work. I will never look elsewhere in terms of emergency care for my animals. Catzablanca in Rocky Hill is my vet. They are associated with New England Veterinary Center so early on Sun., Aug. 4 I brought my beloved 8-year-old-kitty, Charlie, to the center due to breathing difficulties. Dr. Simpson, the case doctor, was professional, informative and compassionate throughout the three-day process, as were all professionals I had contact with. Only one receptionist had a cool demeanor. This is a busy facility so I asked about best times to visit my kitty and to talk with the doctor rather than showing up and waiting. Dr. Simpson made sure that I had all the information I needed and answered all my questions thoroughly so that I could make the best decisions for my kitty. The technicians were incredibly caring, treated Charlie compassionately and made him as comfortable as possible. Sadly, I lost my beautiful boy on Aug. 6. I would not hesitate to bring another pet there for care.

Our German Shepherd (Mac) was recently attacked by a coyote while we were walking through the woods near our home. He was bitten on the back leg and nose and because it was the weekend our usual vets office was closed so we were referred to NEVC. Mac weighs 115 lbs. and like many dogs, does not like to be handled by strangers. I was so worried about how the staff would be able to treat him and give him the rabies booster he needed. Well, let me tell you those folks know their stuff!! They clearly know how to handle large, uncooperative dogs! They were able to get Mac sedated and treated in a timely manner and the cost was not outrageous. Would highly recommend!

I took my dog there last eve, for the second time in a year. The place was not and is not dirty. I was very surprised to read that review since I'm very critical and would have noticed a dirty facility. The vet appeared to be very knowledgeable and realistic. He gave me options for treating. He was right. After one dose of medication, my dog slept through the night. No all night potty walks. The cost was high, but problem solved. Both times I went, the wait was long, 3 to 4 hrs, but there was no one ahead of me. That was hard to take and just added to the exhaustion both my dog and I already had.

The entire staff at NEVCC are some of the hardest working, most dedicated, caring, sympathetic staff I've ever encountered at a vet hospital. Covid has turned the world of veterinary care on its head. As a result, the vast majority of vet clinics and hospitals near me here in western, MA aren't currently accepting ER patients forcing hundreds of desperate and scared pet parents and their loved ones to drive further than is convenient in a time of crisis but there's honestly nothing any of us can do about it. While I sympathize with the frustration of not getting one's pet more immediate conveniently located care, we would all do well to be beyond thankful for the expertise, knowledgable, and patient staff at NEVCC. If I seem annoyed in my 5 star review it's because as I stood waiting for my pet to be returned to me all a number of other pet parents could do was to complain about the wait. Whether it was the wait for their pet to be seen, the wait to be evaluated/treated once inside, the wait to pay, or the wait to have their pet returned. Please remember, social distance guidelines apply to every job, especially in healthcare, even animal healthcare. There are only so many staff working at a given time with a massive increase of patients due to other vet facilities not currently accepting ER patients as I previously stated. As an employee in the pet industry myself, I implore people to be kinder, more patient, and understanding and trust that your loved one is honestly getting the absolute BEST care possible at a state of the art facility with a fantastic team.

I took my dog here for an ultrasound yesterday. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. I was very upset when I went in because I was told by another vet my dog had a large mass in her body. The girls came out and took my dog. A short while later they came out with her and told me there was no mass. They even took a pic of her with her silly grin on the ultrasound table so I knew she was fine. My experience here was wonderful.

Brought my 14 yr old cat in as an Emergency. She was in extreme pain & we didn't know why. Lauren the receptionist couldn't get my furr baby in to see the Dr fast enough- despite us saying we could not financially afford a large vet bill. That didn't matter, my cat needed to be seen asap. While the Dr took a look at her we applied for care credit. A " credit card " for pet care. Within 5 min thr vet tech Judith ( she is amazing ) came out & told us what the problem was. It was not good news. We had to make an EXTREMELY hard decision. My baby was made as comfortable as possible while we spent some quality time together. The doctor & all the staff treated my cat & myself with such compassion & understanding. It was a very emotional time & they gave us their deepest condolences & sympathy which made a tough day a little easier. I have nothing but great things to say about New England Vet & would highly recommend them to anyone. All the thank you in the world are not enuff for this AMAZING GROUP OF PEOPLE. From my limited experience they saved our cat so far. We had to get him a feeding tube for Pancreatitis and Fatty Liver because he wasn't eating. They were very informative, and patient with our questions. No pun intended, and helped save our beloved pet kitty.They demonstrated everything we needed to know, and took time to find out where we needed to have his medication liquefied. I do recommend them from my experience if you love your pet. Edit(October 2020) Just recently our family cat lived his 9 lives then some. We did all we could. We had to help our beloved pet stop suffering. The wonderful staff here helped put our fur buddy to rest even with all the Covid pandemic going on. I have been a customer of NEVCC for a couple of years now, and I am very pleased with the service and care my pets have received. Both of my cats have Dr. deSagun as their primary veterinarian, and Dr. deSagun has always been awesome to work with -- friendly, upbeat, and most importantly compassionate and caring. The overall staff at NEVCC has always been great -- they are a busy place, so it might take a few minutes to speak to someone at the front desk. I've found the pricing to be typical for a vet visit -- remember this is a 24 hour facility, so it isn't inexpensive to staff a facility 24 hours a day. The facility itself is beautiful and very well organized. The facility itself is easy to get to -- right off I-91 in Windsor.

Vet seemed very good, but reception was apathetic and booked us the wrong appointment. We were told our appointment was for a specific test and we would be able to consult with a specialist. I called again later to confirm. After arriving at the appointment, we were told by vet (internal med) that the appointment was only to see her which wasn't very helpful to us at the time. This vet was very nice, understanding, and helpful as much as she could be. I worry about the scheduling issues though. I don't have the time or money to keep making appointments that aren't gor what I need.

From the very beginning, my experience with Dr. O’Keefe was comforting. During a stressful and worrisome time, Dr. O’Keefe did an amazing job explaining our options and what those options meant for Bella. That care continued before, during and after surgery. The team at NEVCC called me the night Bella stayed over after the surgery to let me know she was doing okay and continued to take great care of Bella at each checkup visit in the following months/years. Over 2 years later, Bella is doing great; happy, healthy and cancer free. Thank you NEVCC!!

Sister in law took in their Yorkie Brodie for an emergency visit Friday evening. We suspected that he ingested something bad. They were able to get him to throw up and it contained something plastic. After blood tests, they treated him for ingesting a toxin and tremors that he started to have. They gave him an anticonvulsant and sedative and put him on IV fluids. Also treated him with carbon/charcoal to remove toxins from his stomach. We were able to see him Sunday and he was doing better but not able to walk - very groggy likely due to residual sedative. However, he did eat some canned food that we fed him which was a great sign. Went to see him Monday morning and he was nearly fully recovered. Able to walk and very alert. Also, has a good appetite. We were able to take him home today, Monday. The bill was around $2200, however, it was emergency treatment over the weekend and he stayed there 3 nights. Dr. Porter and nurse Nicole did a great job and we really appreciate their treatment and care of Brodie and the outcome.

I took her into New England Vet Hospital and within 3 minutes, they correctly diagnosed a massive infection and had her on IV fluids and antibiotics within minutes and saved her life! We took our dog, Jack, to the New England Veterinary Center for 14 years, until his recent death at the age of 16. During that time he was a patient of Dr. Sachdev and Dr. Maslosky and always received excellent care. We boarded Jack there during holidays when we traveled, and Jack was always happy to go where they were happy to see him and care for him. Dr. Maslosky was incredible during the final months, weeks and days of Jack's life - caring and compassionate, patient and kind. In the end, she took us outside with a blanket while we sat on the grass and lovingly said our farewells to our wonderful canine companion of 16 years. Dr. Maslosky and her assistant, Annie, laughed and cried right along with us as we shared our memories of Jack and bid him goodbye. It was perfect! If you are looking for a vet who truly cares for your pets, look no further!

My poor White Cat had an emergency after hours and this is the only vet clinic open 24 hours in the area. He had to stay overnight for surgery which was successful. The price was a lot less than I was expecting.

Have a sweet little dog with bladder cancer. Dr O'Keefe is working with us to keep her comfy and if possible extend her life while maintaining high quality to her life. There is no cure for this disease but we're making the most of the time we have left. So far we're doing fairly well. Staff is very professional and kind. I feel Dr O'Keefe is helping prolong Ruthie's life. Glad we were referred to NEVCCC.

Can be expensive 200 dollars for the eye doctor and 45 dollars for a 10 dollar prescription. Ask if you can get it at a pharmacy first.(ex CVS). You love your pet and they know that.
