Everyone at this office is super helpful and caring. I moved so I wanted to find a closer vet and I’m so glad I picked this place. In bringing my cat Lolo in they welcomed her so warmly. This is a vet clinic that actually cares. In discussing details prior to her tooth extraction surgery they took the time to explain to me what care she needs and why. They even called days after her surgery to see how she was healing. Great place and would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Sara Dupre had always treated my pack when I was local, and has outdone her self consulting on a case for our 'pack leader' (with a complicated auto immune disease) while we are far away. When anyone asks me who I use for my pets vet I am proud to share Manchester Veterinary! Ive brought all my children here for all thier needs. Both my cats who are no longer on this plane, but now my dogs. From kitten/puppy to adult and into thier senior. I trust all of the staff with their advice and wisdom. They sell their trusted flea and tick and heartworm treatments, which are at the best price and product you can trust only through a professional. I even have my family members like my Grammy bringing her kitty to them too.

We've been bringing our pets (totaling 5) to MVC for over 20 years. The doctors and staff are consistently professional, courteous and caring. It can be a challenge dealing with people who are concerned about their pets but everyone at MVC excels at supporting worried pet owners. I don't think there has ever been a time that they haven't called back on the same day I left a message and their advice is always honest. We couldn't be happier with them - we highly recommend MVC.

From day 1 the staff has been absolutely wonderful. Few yrs back my kitty Poombah broke her hip and my fiance and I had no idea where to go. We chose this place only because it was close in the beginning and now our vets called us with info about suggestions and what they would do. We could bend her hip back or take her home, let it heal naturally with meds and care. We decided to take her home and in a few months she was healed. They also introduced us to Care pet insurance which helped us tremendously with our bills. From the moment you walk in you have 2 separate entrances for cats and dogs and some very relaxing soothing music in the background to ease your mind. We just went there recently and now Poombah kitty is 20 yrs of age and she is close to that rainbow bridge but as usual the staff was so kind and sweet. The vet showed me how to administer an iv treatment, gave us high protein food so she maybe could start eating a bit since she hadn't eaten in 7 days, and held Poombah very lovingly which showed me they love animals for sure. We will forever be grateful for the yrs of kind loving service they have provided!!!

Easy and convenient to set up appointments. Staff was very kind and patient throughout the visit! Took great care to ensure my cat was safe and as relaxed as possible, checking the hallways to make sure no dogs were out. Covid policies were well maintained: everyone was wearing a mask in the lobby and they limit guests to one person per pet so safe distances can be maintained the entire visit. They do promote supplements and other items pretty heavily, but are clear about what your pet needs so you are free to make the choice for yourself what to give your pet. Will definitely keep bringing my pets here!

**UPDATE** I decided to contact the practice manager - Erika- after she replied to my review. She was very helpful and understood my concerns. Erika even offered to get me in contact with a vet that she thought would be a good fit for me and she did. I was able to speak with Dr. Soutter who provided the guidance and information I was looking for. I am glad that the office manager was able to turn my bad experience around and made me feel safe and confident enough to go back to the practice for my dog's care. *************** I wish my opinion was different from what I'm ready write about this clinic but unfortunately, my first visit was not pleasant at all. I waited three months for this appointment and because the clinic had good online reviews, I didn't mind. I was looking for a more compassionate and understanding veterinary doctor for my 16.5 dog but what I found was a "very direct" -as she put it in her own words- vet who kept comparing my dog's health deficiencies to her 96 y/o father's, not providing enough information nor recommendations about my dog's needs. We ended up seeing Dr. Babuska or Dr. "B" as she referred to herself. Not only she had an unfriendly demeanor but was quick to judge my preferred choice of food for my dog (homecooked). When I asked for specifics about her dislike of homecooked meals, all she said was: "that's not a balanced diet" and kept referring me to a website to research about it. I was hoping for guidance on ingredients and/or suggested portions so that I can make these meals more balanced but no luck. At one point during the visit, she made the remark: "You look like a competent person that can do the research about balanced diet." At that moment, I didn't know how to react to her comment as I was there for her professional opinion about my dog's needs, not for her to judge my character. As she heard the concerns I had for my senior dog, all she could say was that we will all get old and will most likely have to deal with health issues that we can't do much about like was the case of her 96 y/o father. Her comment made me feeling very uneasy, as I expected a more professional and informative response to my concerns. I could go on and on about how the visit went but it will probably be a waste of time and not a single thing will be done about it. I just wish I had read the vet's biographies and chosen a specific doctor prior to the appointment. Unfortunately, I went by online reviews and I didn't expect an experience like the one I had. I'm not sure if I'd be going back to this clinic.

I am very satisfied coming to this practice with my girl. She is a very nervous rescue dog and can get worked up very easily. The Vet and Vet tech we see are always so kind and patient with her and knows how to work with her and keep her calm unlike the last clinic we used to take her to whose advice for us was to surrender her. With a few tips and tricks from MVC her appointment was over in no time. Our girl has come a long way!

Just started bringing my cats here recently and they are so kind and reasonably priced. Don't charge for extra services you don't need and do a very thorough basic checkup. Cats behave much better here than they did at my old vet. Will definitely continue to come here.

I truly appreciated the way Dr. Dupre and her techs treated my pups as though they were their own and truly felt as though they had the best interest of my four-legged kids in mind through out the entire appointment. We just took our pup here after rescuing her about 2-3 weeks ago. In spite of the Covid-19 precautions they were great. Would have loved to gone in and spoke face to face with the doctor, but they spent a good amount of time on the phone with us to answer questions and give us all the details about our pup's health. I felt very comfortable handing the pup over to the nurse who met us at the door, and the pup had no complaints after, aside from sleeping for 4 hours because of a vaccine given. Update: Now that we can go in, I feel even better about this place. The staff was awesome, even when dealing with my 50lb big baby that I had to carry in. They were very welcoming and so sweet with my dog.

The Doctors and staff here are just outstanding. From the first time I brought in my new puppy Doctor Dupre and Kailah were fantastic. Made me feel I made the right choice to bring my pup there. Then my little guy got sick and found out he had an obstruction. Well being a new puppy mom this was alittle scary as he couldn’t keep anything down. Doctor Babuska was so calm and reassuring. She did not make me feel rushed and did all she could for Oakley. He was there for a couple days during the day and she made the time to reach out and give me updates. We thought things were going well and then was back in. Doctor Babuska was able to narrow it down that the blockage was gone but needed meds to help with the rest. This was just two days ago and with the meds he was almost immediately back to himself. Doctor Babuska is just calm, doesn’t rush you out and just willing to listen and help. Even when I asked the same thing several time lol as I was trying to digest it all myself. Also Cassie, Marissa, Toni, Heather and Shannon are just outstanding!!! There are also others who had a hand in helping Oakley and while I didn’t say your name as I am sorry I didn’t get them all, know that you are awesome too! This entire Team is just awesome!!!! We have been going here since the year 2001 with our golden retriever and now with our two German Shepherds. We have been taking our fur babies to this clinic for the past 20 years. We love the office staff, the Vet technicians and all the wonderful veterinarians. My fur babies are treated so well at Manchester Veterinary Clinic especially today when we could not draw blood from Tina. Dr. Soutter, Heather and another Vet. Technician helped draw her blood and they were absolutely fantastic with Tina. They are professional, knowledgeable, informative and compassionate. We are so grateful 🙏 for this clinic. Next month, Quint will be here to get fixed and he will be so well taken care of.

As a first time dog owner, I highly recommend this vet clinic and their staff. The front desk staff is friendly,knowledgeable and took the time to speak with me and help me understand the different types of care options for my new dog, Ginger. I have sent questions and pictures via email and have received responses from the vets and vet techs that have allowed me to avoid physically coming to the office. The office has done a great job establishing safe practices such as "dog valet" and checking in by text. Since moving to Manchester, I have brought all three of my cats here multiple times. I used to take them to the VCA in Vernon and the Feline Hospital mear the mall. This clinic is the best! The prices are lower than other places I have been, and the care is great. The vet here always makes time to talk to me about my cats and answer all my questions. She really cares. The office is very clean, has no odor, and is bright & cheerful! The exam room was bigger then I expected, and gave room for 4 people plus a medium dog. The Vet. They're awesome. They're not like other vets we've been to. Each doctor is kind and caring and very well trained. I find their clinical skills to be excellent, and the front office staff is delightful. Vet care is, as we all know, very expensive. I started searching for a different kind of vet 2 years ago when I was tired of not receiving adequate options for situations we couldn't afford - I understand that many treatments are "best", but at these medical prices we can't always do the ideal. I wanted the information I needed to pick and choose which interventions and treatments were critical and which I could responsibly skip and monitor conditions instead. I LOVE MANCHESTER VET! I would do anything my animals need, but I can't run out of money either. They give me the information I need to make responsible, healthy, educated decisions about my pets' healthcare.

I can't say enough about the quality of service we have received! The office staff was warm and welcoming, and actually went out of their way to get us in early by following up on their cancellation list. Our new rescue dog felt right at home--lots of TLC in this establishment, for both the animal and the human parent! We have seen Dr. Allen twice now, and she is incredible. She takes the time to educate the pet-owner (in fact, she is quite passionate about it!), and she is wonderful with the animals, as is the rest of her team that I've met so far. I fully trust her professional decisions regarding vaccinations, long-term maintenance and care, etc. Additionally, she genuinely cares about our experience at home and pointed us in the right direction with dog training, day care programs, etc. She is even open to discussing healthcare / maintenance routines further via phone so we don't feel rushed in the office. I have seen my share of veterinarians, and (especially being new to the area) I was worried about finding someone we can trust. How grateful we are to have found this wonderful veterinary clinic! In brief: in sickness and in health, MVC is a top notch vet clinic providing outstanding care to both healthy and sick pets. The whole story: My cat has been a patient at Manchester Veterinary Clinic since before I adopted her five years ago. For years, I was a once-a-year checkup kind of person. Dr. Soutter, my primary veterinarian, was always kind and caring, happy to answer any questions I had. Then, two years ago, my cat became quite sick. To make a long story short, we became "call the vet about poop weekly" people, my cat and I. Over the last two years of receiving a difficult diagnosis of a rare and incurable illness, I have realized how lucky I have been to have the entire staff of MVC supporting me. I have met nearly every doctor on their staff, and they are every one knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Every course of treatment is explained patiently to me in detail so I understand what is happening, and why. I have never felt misled or misunderstood by anyone at MVC. Their commitment to kind and evidence based care is evident in every interaction I have with the staff. And even when I feel I MUST have exhausted their unlimited patience (seriously, how many questions about poop can one person have?!?) they answer every last question in as much detail as the first.

Manchester Veterinary Clinic is one of a very few places (in my experience) that consistently maintains a level of professionalism and excellence for my pets. Dr. Babuska is our primary care person, and I trust her input completely. We are alway given suggestions and options for each aspect of our animals preventative health care, as well as when problems arise. In addition (and almost as important) the front desk staff never lets us down. They always follows through with our requests: whether it be a question, a requested return phone call, a refill, an appointment or the concierge aspect of COVID related vet visits- they've got it. The support aspect of a medical office's front desk is vital- and so many fall short (human and animal practices alike). The teamwork displayed at MVC is top notch and consistent. When I call for anything- I know there will be follow through on their end, and a result. I travel 50 minutes to get to this office. Dr. B and her entire practice (front to back) are the reason.

I found Hope on a side road at 9:30 pm. She's black and it was pitch dark, but our paths were meant to cross. Next morning I showed up at Manchester Vet Clinic with her upon their opening, didn't have an appointment (but have been taking my pets there for 30+ years) and they immediately took us into an exam room and helped this less than 1 pound, flea covered, ball of fluff. Tears still come to my eyes recounting this beautiful, selfless act of love. On another occassion, when I had to say a final goodbye to my 21 year old kitty , Sammy, Dr Smeedley was right there with me crying over the loss. I couldn't be more grateful to have such loving people, caring for my beloved 4 legged babies. I could go on, believe me. We were very fortunate to have found Dr. Alexis Soutter through a friend of ours and we have stuck with MVC ever since. Dr Soutter has provide countless hours of care to our animal companions and consultation with us on various issues pertaining to our furry family. We have also seen many of the other vets; all were exceptional and caring in their efforts to address any issue at hand. We bring all 3 of our rescue dogs to MVC and all our rescue cats, as well as any fosters we may have. The vets are not the only great ones at MVC, the vet techs and office staff are helpful,compassionate, and are giving of their time. Thank you MVC staff for all you do for our animal friends. The staff is SO friendly. My first visit became a big deal after I discovered that the carrier I had ordered for her was way too small. So, I did the unthinkable: I “carried” my cat in. I do NOT suggest anyone carry their cat into a vet! I’ve never seen so much of her fluffy fur clumps off of her little body. She scratched me up REAL good. Luckily, the staff was able to calm her down very quickly. They showered her with compliments (what parent of a fur baby doesn’t love that??). They even let us borrow a real cat carrier to bring her home in! Since COVID began, this clinic is now offering “valet” appointments. Just drive up, call to let them know you’ve arrived, someone comes out to get your pet, they bring the pet inside for the appointment and instruct parents to find a parking spot and wait for their call. I was told the appt would take around 30 minutes. I was surprised when I was informed that they’d finished the check up in under 20 minutes. Of course, patients get a chance to talk to the vet too. At the end, I received a text message containing a link through which I was to pay the vet bill. Once complete, they brought Kitty right out to my car. I didn’t even have to unbuckle.

MVC is a top notch veterinary clinic! I have taken all three of my dogs there for over ten years. I wanted a vet who practices homeopathy and have found that in Dr.Soutter, who is knowledgeable, friendly and kind. She even gets down on the floor with the dogs. We have also seen some of the other vets and vet techs. They all have been great and seem to know my dogs whether they have cared for them or not.

My family and I have been using Manchester Veterinary Clinic for nearly 20 years. During that time they have treated our 6 (not at the same time!) dogs and 2 cats. Dr. Soutter is dedicated professional Veterinary. She is with you and your pet for the entire exam. She takes the time to read any prior medical records you bring. To take the time and familiarize herself with your pets health history takes time and dedication.Other practices I have been to rely on vet techs for pre and post exams. The vet just diagnoses the problem and you don't see them again. The vet tech gives discharge plans, diet restrictions and explain how to administer meds. However, Dr. Soutter does all of that, not the vet tech. I would highly recommend Dr. Soutter for all of your pets needs.

Deb Batsie Our first encounter at MVC occurred after we took in a rescue who had been under the care of MVC. Within six months of bringing her into our home, we found out she had cancer and had to put her down. Anyone who has had to make this decision knows how earthshattering it is. Dr. Atz made the situation tolerable. He became a part of the decision making process; not making us feel we had to decide alone. He was there the entire time and you could actually feel his compassion fill the room...that was over eight years ago and now all our fur children go to MVC. Everytime we go there, everyone knows who we are.... And more importantly who are fur babies are without reading a chart. A couple of years ago....after our kitty had emergency surgery... Dr. B came in on a Sunday to discharge her home to us bc she knew how much we missed her. This weekend our other cat became suddenly very sick. Dr. Soutter and Amber stayed late on a Saturday to see us. Some places might have insisted we go to an emergency vet but not here. Dr. Soutter was able to identify what was wrong w him before the test results came back by her keen observation. We know she saved his life this weekend. After following her recommendations, FB looks like a new man again. Dr. Atz, Dr. B. And Dr. Soutter are brilliant, compassionate and highly trustworthy vetinarians. They call when they say they will.... And are always patient when I come in with my list of questions. Our dog is a rescue who does not trust new folks. He has never had a single issue at this vet. No issue is insignificant to them....if I am worried so are they. We are incredibly grateful to all the staff at MVC for their sincerity and care... And would whole heartedly recommend them!
