We have been bringing our fur babies here for the last 15 years. Dr. Williams and his staff are amazing, friendly, and very caring. They have always been there for us whenever we needed them. We were able to get an extra 1-1/2 years with one of our babies due to the care and treatment that was given to her when she was diagnosed with bone cancer. Thanks to everyone there for being so caring and loving to our fur babies!

Have an 11yr old dachshund mix that got really sick so I took him to the only vet I knew was open on Saturday’s. (This place is but I didn’t know). The treatment he received wasn’t good at all and our Wookie got worse. I called Handsboro first thing Monday morning. They said to bring him in then.. I have never been treated so kindly and professional. They were so attentive and caring for my sweet boy. They figured out what was really wrong with him and I am so happy I found them. When I came back to get him they took the time to explain everything to me. Now, 6 hours later, our baby is so much better!!! He hadn’t eaten in almost 4 days but this evening ate and loved it(new and healthy food from them). I really can’t say thank you enough! Yes, it wasn’t cheap but it was 💯 worth every cent.

We had a great experience with our cat, Abby. Our family recently took in an elderly cat that had been "straying" in our previous neighborhood for years. (She was abandon by her family when they moved.) Today was our first trip to the Vet, and what I thought was going to be a very traumatic event for Abby, was not at all. The staff was very gentle and accommodating. I don't have much health history on Abby considering how we got her, and they took the time to listen to her story. I feel like the price was very fair. For a same day exam, a steroid shot, and 2 medications we were charged less than $150. 6 hours later and our Abby girl is already starting to act like herself again.

The best vet on the coast! Everyone was sooo nice and the vet gave my scared little puppy lots of snuggles and kisses! And we even got to meet a sweet little kitty! 10/10 recommend!! ❤️❤️

I've been using this animal hospital since Summer of 2020 when I was fostering a rescue. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful with last minute visits and answering all the odd questions that any 1st time pet owner would have. The receptionists do a great job running the clinic as it can get extremely business. They really do make you feel at home as they are all very welcoming and loving toward the pets/pet owners.

Recently had to put our 15+ year old lab down. Dr Williams and staff were very supportive. It was not a easy decision but we know it was best for our pup. I’ve been going to Handsboro Animal Hospital for about 40 years (1982 or 1983). They are kind, attentive animal lovers, whom I trust, with my precious fur babies. They are also innovative when it comes to medicine, having gotten dogs thru heart worms without the invasive measures taken by other vets. Dr Williams and his staff always go above and beyond to make you and your pet comfortable. I’ve been using this clinic for close to 20 years. They are very professional and some great services like laser therapy that was a huge help in my beagle recovering from knee surgery. I would highly recommend them for your pets.

1rst time here was able to get in same day in an emergency situation. Had a great experience and my dog is doing good. Update: 2nd time. Had an emergency situation my dog got bit in the face and had a gaping wound that had to be stitched up they were able to see me the same day and got it done.

So today was me and my baby Rumi’s first visit to handsboro animal hospital and everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. Rumi was very anxious and scared at first because today was her first time riding in the car or going somewhere other than our home. But the staff was amazing they were to calm her do exam with no problem. I was a little skeptical about the price after reading other reviews but they were very transparent about the price and only did what was necessary to treat our current concerns. We will definitely be coming back ❤️

I’ve been taking our babies to Handsboro Animal Hospital for a few years & our babies love to visit! They have been going for “Spa” day for a bath & nail trim about every three weeks for about 8 months. Rosco has never been a fan of snuggling or liked to play with toys. Since he’s been going to Spa day, he’s slowly changed. He started snuggling with us on the couch a few months ago & started playing with toys. Last night was the first night he snuggled up in the bed, under the covers, and fell asleep. He’s always just slept by our feet. Rosco always never cared for car rides. Now, when we take Pennie for a standard visit, Rosco insists on going. He wants to get in the car all of the time now. Sometimes it takes a special person to encourage your baby & the staff at Handsboro does that. We are so grateful for all of them!

Dr. Williams is knowledgable and caring. I truly with I had taken a photo of my cat's face before he removed a suspected mast cell tumor from her face just on the right side of her nose. In the photo it is on the left. It was getting so large I wasn't sure it would close well but Dr. Williams did a beautiful job removing it and closing the wound. This type of removal and wound closure can only be done this well by a skilled doctor. I highly recommend Hansboro Animal Hospital.

I called Handsboro Animal Hospital and they worked me in on an early appointment and surgery was performed immediately. I absolutely love everyone that works here! I will Never use another vet ever again. This will be my vet for now on. We didn't know these people from Adam and they didn't know us. A couple weeks ago we had an emergency with my boxer and my ex husband brought her in without an appointment and they took her right on in without hesitation and went in emergency mode. She ended up passing away before they were able to put her down but they did everything possible to keep her alive but her organs were shutting down. I appreciate these people more then they will ever know. We highly recommend them and we found a new vet. Thank you so much.
