Very friendly and kind people work here. I have been taking my girls here for the past 3 or 4 years. They always have a smile on their face and are always excited to see my girls. Unfortunately my older dog had to have surgery and ended up not making it due to an aggressive tumor. But the staff here did everything they could in an impossible situation with constant updates through out the process. I could not recommend them more. Thank you so much for taking such good care of River. :)

Georgetown Animal Hospital is fantastic all around. I’ve seen probably 4 different vets for various reasons here and each visit they’ve provided great service. Every phone call, every conversation at check in or out, every vet tech, every veterinarian, I’m always so grateful for how kind and patient every person is. I never feel rushed. Everyone always answers my questions. I learn how to be a better dog & cat mom every visit. I’ve never had such a wonderful experience over and over with the full staff with vet offices in the past. They go above and beyond every time. I also feel like prices are extremely fair on top of it all. I hope the staff continues to be this top notch forever. It just makes the stressful/scary pet moments feel easier to handle and manage. They were there for me to say goodbye to my soul dog, we’ve come for puppy visits, annual appointments, kitty urine blockage, diabetes, and every single time I leave I’m so grateful to have found this place. Keep up the amazing service. You all make more of a difference than you’ll ever know. Thank you for being so kind, patient, helpful, and knowledgeable in every situation.

The doctor’s knowledge and capabilities with diagnosing and treating the different elements you run into with dogs like ours has been a godsend. Their pricing for their services is also very fair. I cannot recommend Georgetown Animal Hospital enough. As someone who never posts reviews, the fact that I am taking the time to post this means I wish I could give them even more than 5 stars. They were able to schedule my dog promptly, treated her with the highest quality of care, and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. I am pickier about my vet for my dog than I am my own personal physician and my experience at Georgetown Animal Hospital was a 12/10.

We have seen multiple vets at this hospital over the past 2 years of living in the Grand Rapids area and they have all been amazing. It is worth the 20 minute drive we take to go to this vet due to their outstanding care. The facility itself is in great condition too and always impeccably clean. Georgtown is completely amazing. Our grand dog Ziggy had so many medical problems. He was in our care for a while while his dad switched jobs. Georgtown never ever turned us down to bring him in when he was sick....ON THE SAME DAY!!!! We were so scare so many times. They were a God send. They saved Ziggy's life many times and when it was time to say goodbye...they were so understanding and awesome. Their care is top notch. Did I mention we drove 1.5 hours to get there. Totally worth it. They are a class act. So grateful for them. You can't get any better than Georgetown. I'm so grateful to them.

Update: our dog Odin had to have surgery this week to repair a wound found on his leg. Georgetown Animal Hospital was quick to get him in, gave me updates along the way while they had him , and took such good care of our sweet boy. I'm very thankful and appreciative of the care given by this office! My family brought home a rescue puppy a few weeks ago, our first puppy as a family. Georgetown Animal Hospital was very helpful to me when I called and set up our first check up, as this is all new to us. At our first visit the staff was very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Good took the time to answer my questions and give some tips to us as new dog owners. The staff was all very friendly to our puppy, and he seemed to love every minute!

The staff and doctors are great! We used them for our dog and still use them for our cat. When either animal had an emergency they were able to get them in very fast, usually within a couple hours. The doctors went above and beyond expectations helping us when our cat had behavioral issues and when our dog got sick. Very compassionate when helping us diagnose and eventually making the hard decision to put our dog down. I would definitely recommend this vet to anyone who recently adopted a pet or moving to the area.

Everything about this animal facility is outstanding, they established my trust from the get-go because of their caring and compassion for my little dog. Dr. Good is an excellent vet, she is professional in her attention to detail in the care of my dog, especially diagnosing and treatment when there has been problems or issues, and answering all my questions and concerns. I’ve been to other veterinary clinics, Georgetown Animal Hospital stands far above any of the others when it comes to getting the best care for my dog. Georgetown Animal Hospital is top notch. They have been caring for our bichon for over thirteen years. He’s had two surgeries at Georgetown and is still doing great. Now they are taking care of our golden doodle puppy. He had a mishap today and cut his paw. He needed stitches and Dr. Chudy had him patched up in no time. He gives one star for the cone but I give Georgetown five stars. I’m thrilled with Georgetown.

Noelle was well cared for from the moment we stepped into the office. The ladies at the receptionist desk said hello to her and we were ushered right back into the room. Once there, we were told exactly what they were going to do for her spay surgery and when we should expect a call from the veterinarian. Noelle just wanted to go back and see all of her friends, which put us at ease. Dr. Schrebe called us well before when we were expecting and told us all she did and how Noelle was doing. We called and got a progress report that night from the staff and they didn’t kind checking back in on Noelle for us. When we picked Noelle up the next morning she was extremely excited to see us and the staff knew she might need something to help calm her down. Without hesitation, they got us some calming meds right away. We cannot say enough good things about the whole staff and the care they gave to Noelle at GAH. Thank you!

From checking in to checking out, the process was very smooth. The staff made sure all my concerns were addressed and they made sure I understood everything that was discussed. The entire staff were very professional and friendly. Our dog was comfortable and at ease with them. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a great vet.

Our dog was not cared for the best or treated the best at his previous vet. Our dog hated the vet. Since coming here, he walked in gracefully, they analyzed his breed, they listened to us, they took our dog with respect and they get to know him at EVERY visit. He's a sniffer and howler, but he means the best. Thank you for letting him sniff you and howl a bit before his visit. We can tell the difference in him coming to Georgetown. It has been less than a year, but I hope his anxiety gets better with time. It has been a relief for us as dog parents. I was super impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the building. The receptionist was very kind and check in was easy. I was in a room pretty quickly. The tech handled my cat very well and explained everything they would be doing. They were very patient with my scared kitty. Dr. Meyer was great. She has a special ability to connect with animals while giving helpful info to the caregiver. She gave me cost estimates for treatments we may need in the future and examined everything thoroughly. My 9 1/2 dog Kona needed CCL surgery badly on her right knee. At the beginning of this week she barely could walk past my next door neighbor's house. Dr Chudy repaired her knee on Wednesday and today on Saturday we walked down the street and back!! This is rare from what I've read and been told however I'm feeling Dr Chudy did a terrific job fixing her knee apparently! I recommend GAH to anyone looking for a fantastic place for your pet. The staff is friendly and courteous and I'm very impressed with Dr Chudy. 🙂

We have been bringing our cats here since 2015. We have gone to all the other practices in the area, and have found this one to be the best! They are professional, caring, and personable. From the veterinarians, the vet techs, and the office staff. Very helpful, answer all my questons and spend the time I need to feel comfortable about my pets care.The Vets are very thorough and do a lot of follow up. We have seen Dr. Meyer, Dr. Good, Dr. Chudy, and Dr. Kwaziniewski. All the doctors are excellent! The hours are longer here and allow for flexible appointments with juggling our careers. I highly recommend this practice, we've moved from Hudsonville to West Olive, and drive 18 miles because it's worth it!

I had to turn down the first available appointment as it was in a half hour and I simply couldn't make it to the office in time, (I got in for the slot an hour and a half away so I had time) but any other vet had at least a two day wait to see my dog for an ear infection. I love Georgetown Animal Hospital, and am glad I finally transferred all my pets over to them as any other vet I've worked with has been abysmal

Another awesome visit today with one of my rats, Tom, who has an upper respiratory infection. GAH has never treated my rats but saw us same day. Thanks to Dr Good, He’s on medication now & the rest have appointments. I didn’t get her name, but whoever checked us out & helped reserve the next appointment for the remaining 6 of my rats deserves some kudos! They all have to be in your computer system as patients-very time consuming to do when you have other patients to take care of - and you did it with a smile. Thank you, thank you! See you next time! I love how much love they give my Sophie. She's a timid cat around people and places she doesn't go to often and they understand this. They are compassionate and honest and the customer service is phenomenal. I wouldn't trust my kitty to anyone else.

I like Georgetown Animal hospital. So far staff have been extremely professional and kind. My dog has had minor issues come up so my BUT to this facility is the outrageous cost involved with medications. Do you your research and ask what they plan to prescribe prior to pick up so you can price compare. My most recent antibiotic I found for almost half the price or less after I already picked up my prescription through the hospital. As someone shared with me typically if they have hospital in their name the prices will be higher.

Georgetown Animal Hospital has been caring for our pets for over 14 years. Their love for animals is evident in the way they care for our animals as is. We had to put down our Lab Tank 4 years ago and while it was heartbreaking they help us through the process with care. We recommended you to our neighbor when they were not happy with there current vet when their dog Dottie became ill. You guys were great to helping them through a very difficult time putting her down as well.

The staff at Georgetown is amazing! We couldn’t ask for kinder staff, wiser vets, or a friendlier atmosphere. They really care for your pets as much as you do. Our fur baby required emergency surgery to remove an obstruction - everyone was extremely friendly, they stayed late to perform the surgery, and kept us up to date on his progress. He’s in the process of making a full recovery and there is no doubt in my mind it’s because of the care that he received at Georgetown.

I can not say enough about this office! I called close to closing time to schedule an appointment for our Great Dane. I instantly started crying because I knew our dog would not be coming home from this appointment. The receptionist was beyond compassionate to me even though I'm sure she wanted to get home. The day of the appointment was the same experience. EVERY employee was amazing. Dont get me wrong I wish I was not at the vet that day but Dr. Meyer could not have been more compassionate, understanding or relatable. They never once rushed us or pressured us into anything. I have a pet snake, and especially with Covid, it's extremely hard to get appointments anywhere for reptiles. Everywhere I called either weren't accepting new clients, didn't do reptiles, or next appointment was 2 months out. I was able to get an appointment for 14 days in future, quite good for covid being around and having a pet snake. Plus they were a third cheaper than other vets in area where I'd have to wait longer. They confirmed my suspicion that my pet has a respiratory infection and immediately got a shot, with a second one scheduled same week, at about 30 dollars for both shots (~15/1). Really affordable, clean facility, and well organized.

I've used Georgetown Animal Hospital for 10+ years. They have always been very nice and informative. They tell you what is going on with your pet and then give you options to treat the situation. Today I had to put my 17 year old Chihuahua down. I went in thinking he was not eating because of a major infection in his mouth. After the vet Lindsey Schrebe looked Chi over, listened to his heart, she asked if she could do a blood draw. She did and had the results in 15 minutes. Basically his organs (kidney, liver) where not functioning properly. She gave me 2 options. Medicine and food diet or put him down. Because he was 17 I chose the 2nd choice. They did not rush me. They asked if I wanted to leave while he was still alive or be with him as they administered the medicine to put him to sleep. They had me pay my bill in the same room so I wasn't out in their lobby crying like a fool. Everyone said they were sorry that I had to make that decision. If and when we get a new pet we will definitely use Georgetown Animal Hospital again.

We've used 3 different vets in this area with our dogs over the years, and the other 2 are good, but we settled on GAH and are very happy with their staff and vets. Dr. Chudy usually sees our 9-yr-old rescue chihuahua; takes time with us, answers questions, and explains things--and so does the staff. Reasonable fees; when possible, they'll do their best to get us in for more urgent visits, but for those who are upset that they weren't given immediate appointments, I do believe they try their best but are sometimes more than full up. (Just like my own doctors' office--so busy that sometimes they just don't have room.) Recommend!

I am not even a client here, but witnessed the exceptional customer service they have when one of the male front desk staff talked with me for over 12 minutes when I called due to a concern about a severe reaction my dog had had to a vaccine. My own vet office has not even been as helpful and courteous towards me as this office was. My current vet office had denied she could have reacted to a vaccine, so was not offering me much help. Georgetown's knowledgable staff talked me through the options I would have the next time the vaccine is due, and I truely felt my concerns were heard. Our dear black lab, Rocco, recently had surgery at Georgetown Animal Hospital to remove a slow growing cancerous tumor from his lower back. Rocco is a senior dog and even though he has cancer we wanted as much time with him as we could, and we did not want the tumor to grow so large to invade organs and cause pressure and pain. Dr. Chuddy was so very kind and caring to both Rocco and my husband and I. He was empathetic and understood our desire to have him with us as long as possible. He did such a wonderful job of a difficult task. The staff took such good care of him after surgery and he was able to return home the same day. He is recovering well. I cannot express how very thankful I am for Georgetown Animal Hospital’s role in Rocco’s life over the years. We rest assured they know what is best for him and we trust them with our precious friend. A special thank you to Dr. Chuddy for removing that large tumor from Rocco.

Last year my boyfriend's dog was diagnosed with cancer at this vet and got treatment which unfortunately didn't work. They went above and beyond to save our little kitten. She was unable to stand on her own, and she appeared to be having a seizure. The doctor gave her a steroid to reduce the swelling in her brain. A nurse took her home, and helped feed her, and keep an eye on her overnight. The doctors prepared me for the worst. But the next day I receive a call. The kitten made a FULL recovery. I need to keep her in a quiet space to herself so she wouldn't get over stimulated for a few days, but my kids and I were so shocked and overjoyed...I don't think things could have gone any better.

Nala has seen Dr. Chudy & staff since her birth and we've had purely exceptional visits with them for both routine & urgent care. Staff is always super nice. Dr. Chudy always explains things throughly and provided care options during her urgent care episodes. We chose to see their office because we have a Great Dane and not all vets are familiar with large breed dogs. We will keep bringing her to him for years to come.

This was our first visit with our new puppy. I am very impressed with all the staff we met or dealt with today . Dr Meyers is fantastic , truly understands how to work with animals and owners . She answered all our questions ( we had plenty ) and never made us feel rushed . She is very complete in answering questions or giving explanations and really listens to what the owner of the pets is saying or asking . She is very gentle with the animals and makes the visit as comforting for them as possible. I very highly recommend Dr Meyers and the Georgetown Animal Hospital. UPDATE on 1-29-23 We had an urgent medical situation with our 14 month old pup . Called as soon as clinic opened and we had an appointment within 2 hours . We got to meet Dr. Ashley and she was very nice and caring . Explained what tests she felt were needed and why they would help her evaluate our situation. It's nice knowing that there are 2 vets in the office we are comfortable with caring for our pets .
