Annual checkup and prescription was earlier visit in spring 2022 and today end of July walk-in Saturday morning urgent care visit. Both experiences were awesome and both required some patience for natural wait time due to the popular and busy here all the time. Doctor and staff all 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Very much appreciate minimal talking, just the facts easier to remember and yet very caring about the pet and the person. Really good appropriate prices not influenced by investors or other vets at extremely high prices. I love how fair they price their services and care provided. Been a customer for over 22 years.

My elderly dog had a massive lipoma removed from his side for the second time. The doctor and staff all took great care of him and he is recovering great. They made sure I had everything and understood his aftercare. My dog felt very safe with them.

Great work. Having mitigation problems scheduling problems. I think its worth it to hire a business consultant to help increase volume and items per sale. Also I don't like giving them my dog. Maybe they could think of a way to get a better flow. There's a reason why this is happening ; I think its cuz they r so gud! .

Very affordable for pricing both vaccines and for fixing your animals. I have used to fix both my male and female dogs here. Would give it a 5 but reaching out to the clinic can be kind of a struggle. Unless you go in, you'll probably have to call 2-3 times to set anything up. Just a heads up, no problems with it at all but you'll have to pay for a $35 visit prior to getting your dog fixed just for a over all check up to make sure they are healthy enough for surgery.

I thought the tech who came out to get Rosie was great! Super friendly and Rosie loved her. She answered questions and was knowledgeable. Super fast service and Rosie came out happy and prancing all the way to the car. She had a great time even with getting a shot and blood drawn. Will come back again!

They don't return phone calls, but I've had great experiences with the services they offer. My dog is always calm and never nervous after being seen for his shots or other care. The veterinarian was very nice and made sure that I was fully involved and understood everything even though I had to wait outside while my dog was being taken care of.

We got a rescue pup the end of October last year, and all the vets near us were sooo expensive! I found the Low Cost Spay Clinic, read lots of reviews and decided to give them a try... I'm so glad we found them! They have been great with our pup, helpful, very affordable, and we've not had any issues getting in when we need. I think we'll definitely be continuing to use them for our boy.

Best to make an appointment these days, but I have been taking my dogs to this clinic for years. I first came for the much lower cost, but I stayed because of the efficiency and competency of the staff. My dogs have always been treated well, and I have absolutely no complaints in regard to outcomes or service. Have had neutering, check-ups, shots and nail trimming done here.

She was very knowledgeable and compassionate with my questions and concerns about my aging dog. She was very aware of financial implications regarding various treatment options. Together a treatment plan was developed that best served our situation. So very greatful.

It would be nice that when you have a 7am apt the the employees are at work and ready to go, you tell us to be their by a certain time and I was their but did not get in until 7:20 due to employees showing up just at 7 and not ready to go. I have a cat who cannot do his business on his own and I have to help him with his natural calls. I was visiting the des moines just for a day when my cat started having peeing blood. Luckily I found this walk in clinic and they checked him and provided him the required medicines and medical help. They provided to the point treatment and did an excellent job. We I have two cats that needed their rabies vaccinations up-to-date. They did not make us spend more money by bringing them in for a checkup. We knew the cats were healthy and they trusted us to know that our cats were healthy. We only had to pay for the vaccinations. Staff was very friendly and very quick and efficient.

I've been going here and their sister clinic (Afford-A-Care) for a little over 20 years. This clinic has provided pretty much everything we've needed taken care of. Very compassionate when we had no choice but to put two of our beloved fur babies to sleep. They also fixed two of our cats, that we aquired from family. The most recent one was just two weeks ago. Short of it was they were very kind and informative, when it came to taking care of fixing Stormy. She was doing great by the next day. I'm appreciative of everything they do for us.

The best kept pet care clinic secret. I love the no frills, pay for what you want instead of the pressure and guilt trip other clinics put on to buy health packages. Vets and staff are so very nice. You can see they love animals. Low Cost Spay Clinic is extremely reasonable for quality care; much less expensive than other clinics where I have taken my pets. Sometimes you have to wait a bit. Because they are a walk-in clinic and take appointments, you may not get in to see the vet immediately, but the clients always strike up a conversation about their and your pet. I'd encourage others to seek out this clinic for top-notch health care for your pet!

I have been taking my pets here for years and they used to be a good place to go. They have gone way down hill in the last few years though. I took my dog and cat out there on the Dec 30th, only to see a sign on the door that they are closed from Dec 24-Jan 2. So I go back the following weekend, the website says the doctor is there until 11:30 and they are open until noon. I get there about 10:45 and the door says they are open until 11:30 and there is a sign that says the doctor isn't taking any more patients today. Are you kidding me? I've now drove out there twice and waisted time and gas. This place is ridiculous now! If the doctor quits taking patients so early, maybe actually put that on the website instead. There was only one family waiting too, so it wasn't like they had a ton of people before me. They have lost my pets as patients after this. This place is going down hill fast. Too bad since it's one of the few affordable vets around.

Follows the safety guidelines for Covid 19, MANDATORY MASK to enter, but no one can stay inside, they come get your pet and bring it back to your vehicle. They are caring people and take the time to answer questions ,and they listen to you. Love this place even tho I've only been there once.

I've called them all week and at least 6 times today trying to get an appointment set up to neutered my cat but cant seem to get a response. I did however get thru on one phone call but ended up having them end the call before i could even say anything. I brought two kittens in (4months male, 8 months female) to get rabies vaccinations and to be neutered/spayed. I dropped them off at 6:00am and picked them up at 3:00. It is great to be able to walk in and tell THEM how things are going to go...no "office fee" just for stepping in the door and no appointments neccesary. Everything is good about this clinic except the front desk staff they're never personable and when i called for my dogs rabies records they was very short and snippy towards me and even cut me off. If they were to fix the front desks attitudes it would be a perfect place otherwise all is amazing the vet care and prices were easy to work with!

This veterinary office is useful if you're low on cash and need vaccinations, your pet spayed or neutered, and for minor injuries. For anything major I'd find a higher quality vet and get a second opinion. At least in my experience, every time they encounter more than a very minor injury they recommend that you euthanize your pet. Three different times this clinic has told me that euthanasia was the only option over the years and every time I took my pet to a different vet and successfully treated them. That said, for rabies shots, 5-way vaccinations, and cheap spays and neuters this is still a vital clinic.

Mostly like this place, hard to get ahold as I work during day and struggle to get through phone line, but once through, can ask questions to any staff and they are knowledgeable, can look on computer to figure out what I need, and sometimes suggest add to items i need...knowledgable about products sold, and the price us right, although those are going through the roof also ..supply and demand i guess..i would highly suggest this place or their sister clinic, afford-a-care on se 14th.

I didn't know what to do when I first got there so I sat there for a while till I seen someone come out . I finally got the info on how to get in, I was there from 8:30 in the morning till 11: 00. Go inside door, fill out paperwork, lay it on the counter. They will come outside.
