I cannot say enough good things about this place! The staff is kind and professional. I have a senior cat that needs frequent care and tests and they're always so sweet to her and so helpful to me. They've taught me how to give my cat fluids at home and have done everything they can for us even when they're booked and understaffed! Above and beyond is an understatement. My 5year old Bernese Mountain dog tore her ACL and needed surgery. I immediately thought of a friend who had a dog she had taken to the Ingersoll Animal Hospital - Pawsitive Strides when her dog was older and becoming weaker in her hind legs. I called and asked if they could help with my dogs rehab after her surgery. It has been a huge part of her success. There have been so many questions and concerns during this journey and having the surgeons office and ingersoll animal hospital aware of her situation and progress has been totally reassuring and gives me confidence in my part of her exercise and recovery. Worth every penny. Worth every appointment (they’re so flexible with scheduling and changes) Olive actually hops right out of the car and goes in wagging her tail!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Always a good experience. The vet I saw was very helpful and talked openly to me about costs and necessity of things. She spent time to explain everything to me. Was also nice that they were able to accommodate me wanting to bring my dog inside and not having to wait in the car.

There are not many options for rabbit care needs. I usually have a 20-minute drive to get my rabbits nails trimmed. One of my rabbits has black nails so it's difficult and doesn't sit still. They hate being in the car. I was delighted to find a closer location. The staff were so nice and efficient. As any owner, I was apprehensive that I couldn't go with them. The pictures eased my fears. I will continue to use their services.

Took my new beagle to his 1st visit with Ingersoll yesterday and everything was AMAZING. From Dani getting him from my car and making him feel safe to Dr. Kendall calling to advise me how his check up was and offering 2 shots that he didnt HAVE to have but were optional. The suggested shots were explained in detail and the Vet even suggested making a 2nd visit for those if I chose them, to make his 1st visit a friendly happy one which was great. I wasnt pushed into buying anything or doing anything more than what i went there for. I will be back and I will suggest Ingersoll to all my friend and family.

My sweet Kona was turned away from another Vet because they had tried everything for her allergies. She is only two so the thought of her being miserable for the next 10 years broke my heart. This photo doesn't quite show how severe her allergies were. She had sores all over from itching and didn't have hair on most of her body. I decided to make an appointment with Ingersoll Animal Hospital to get another opinion. In just two months, our dog finally has hair and isn't miserable itching all day. All the redness and sores are completely gone. I really want to thank everyone at Ingersoll Animal Hospital for taking on this challenge and sticking with us to find a solution.

The grooming was above & beyond what I expected. They did a very thorough intake to make sure we were both on the same page with what we wanted his grooming to entail. I was nervous b/c our dog has severe anxiety but the staff was WONDERFUL to him. (Of course I'm not surprised since they are affiliated with Pawsitive Strides where our dog is a patient.) Bear looked so handsome and was very happy with his experience- so were his humans!

Very good first experience. People were professional but warm and friendly. Our dog wasn’t stressed afterwards which is a huge indicator and relieves stress for me. Doctor Austin was knowledgeable and kind. We will be regular clients. We just moved to Des Moines so it’s nice to have a good vet down the road.

I feel the staff went above and beyond. I've never had a vet send me pictures daily of my pet with an update on their progress. When I came in to visit the Dr even popped in the room to make sure I didn't have any questions. The staff is always responsive and so pleasant to talk to. I'll never go anywhere else!!

I have been taking both of my dogs to Ingersoll Animal Hospital for the past year and I have really been blown away by the service and care they have given my pets each time we have gone! My golden retriever had a small ear infection, the vet talked over everything on the phone and then came out and showed me how to administer the ear cleaner on her dog! Truly a professional! I have also called several time with minor concerns and they are very honest about whether or not I need an appointment. Finally, I just wanted to say that Ingersoll Animal Hospital is great at giving you all the options and really letting you decide. I had a pricey visit and really couldn’t fathom spending the amount of money needed for all the medicine for my sweet angel. I expressed this directly to the vet and he walked me through a slightly less aggressive treatment plan and that gave me a bit more financial flexibility. I really could not have been any happier with my experience there! I know that they will always take good care of my pets and give honest, reliable advice!

Ingersoll Animal Hospital has the best bedside manner I have ever seen with pets. We have 3 cats, and they take the time care for each one and adjust to each of their vey unique personalities. The appointment times are flexible with my work schedule, and the vets make sure to take plenty of time to talk with us about any medical concerns we are seeing in our babies. Dr Miller is wonderful. Cobalt was very sick for a few days and he was going to have to have surgery but after monitoring him 2 of the other Drs determined surgery was not needed and that he was getting better and he’s been great ever since!

If i could leave 10 stars i would. Dr Austin amd her staff were amazing when I brought my dog in after a brutal attack by another dog. They were so caring and understanding and continued to call just to check up on my Lucy. Thanfully Lucy has almost fully recovered and I am forever grateful.

This was my first time with this vet. I was with my prior vet for 26 years. I was so afraid I made a mistake by leaving a vet I loved.. But, this first time was just to groom the animals, so, I figured I had time to switch back if need be. Before the grooming could even begin they discovered my dogs lacked key vaccinations. They had to have an exam before they could be vaccinated. Upon exam, they found my poor babies had ear infections. So, in one visit, presumably just for a groom, they caught the need for a vaccine, they caught two nasty ear infections, and they made my dogs so happy and relaxed that they both came in my door as though nothing happened to them. In 26 years with the other vet, my animals never returned to me so happy, so relaxed, and in such really good shape. Had I waited until it was time for their annual exam, they would have needlessly suffered. Everyone at the vet was so sweet to me that it was as if THEY had known me for 26 years. But, in truth, they had never met me, never known my animals, yet, they treated me like a long lost best friend and my animals as their own. I am no longer fearful. I am grateful. I am so happy I made the switch. Oh, and the grooming was well done too. They look SO good.

This is the most professional, courteous Vet I and any of my pets have ever experienced. My Siberian Husky not only loves her doggy doctor, she loves the grooming services as a well. My dog Masha always seems to come back happy after staying here. I am so thankful to Dr. Alexander for reaching out to me letting me know how everything was going and spotting an ear infection in my dog during her stay. Kryssa also always does an amazing job grooming Masha! I'm not sure how she gets her to stay still long enough but she always comes back looking amazing!

I cannot say enough great things about this clinic. I’m so happy I chose this place after moving from Colorado recently. I grew up in a vet clinic my whole life and always received animal care through them, so to find a new clinic always made me extremely nervous and something I kind of avoided for a few months. I have a very anxious dog so taking her to the vet is always a bit of a challenge. At Ingersoll, they made me feel so at ease and were equipped to handle my dog without increasing her (or my) anxiety. All of the staff is so extremely friendly and knowledgeable about what your pet needs. They even made a suggestion on a diet switch based on studies that are currently being done! I’d recommend Ingersoll to anyone looking for a new vet.

I cannot think of how to make my experience(s) with Ingersoll Animal Hospital any better. All employees from the front desk to the vets showcase a love for animals, and show genuine care/concerns for their animal-patients (and their pet-parents!). They are always clear when explaining procedures/costs/post-treatment protocols etc.They have also adapted well to COVID procedures, allowing that high level of care and interaction with pets/pet-parents-- albeit in a different setting. While I can't be in the room with my pet during their exams, Ingersoll Animal Hospital still was able to communicate with me, calm my nerves, and further assure me that my pets are in good care-- even if I can't be there.

We recently switched from another vet who was consistently rude at every visit as well as his staff. Many of my friends had recommended IAH so we decided to give it a try. It can be very difficult switching vets when they have always cared for your pets but the staff and vets at Ingersoll Animal Hospital made the switch very easy. I was overly impressed with the friendliness of the staff from my first visit. We loved Dr. Frye and I felt totally comfortable with my dog in her care. She did a very through exam on my senior dog and he was very happy to be there. I am so happy I made the switch. Customer service really goes a long way! The quality of service we received was phenomenal!

Shadow was really sick. He was incredibly dehydrated and also has a severe UTI. They provided me with options since he is really hard to get a pill into. I felt that the staff cared about his well-being and that's what matters to me. He is quite a difficult kitty at the vet, but they remained professional and understanding. They always give an estimate for what everything is going to cost before running any tests or treatment. They don't offer any payment plans and payment is due at discharge though which is sometimes frustrating. Charges are reasonable.

The most recent visit, he required a steroid injection shot. Wonderful service, even during pandemic when owners aren't allowed in the building. My concerns and questions were all accurately relayed to the vet. When finished, the actual vet who saw my cats called to go over things and ask if I had any other questions. I didn't feel pressured to hurry up and move along. I can not say enough how great the people are who work there. They truly care about you and your pet. The service is ALWAYS great. From the joy of bringing in new puppies or kittens to sorry and pain of having to put one down they have always been there to help. My family have been bringing in our pets from back in the 80's and have always been treated with the quality and professionalism that one would only hope to receive. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a good vet to look at these guys first because you will not be disappointed.

We chose Ingersoll initially because Hank had an infected scratch on her leg that needed to be looked at ASAP. The wonderful staff at Ingersoll got us in the same day and treated my little fur baby like their own! We have made Ingersoll our permanent vet because of that one interaction, and I couldn't be happier! Hank is terrified of new places, but the staff is always very gentle, thorough, and quick so she feels as comfortable as possible while still giving her the best care. I was very impressed with every staff member I've met and their love and genuine compassion for their patients. The office is very clean and welcoming. I couldn't ask for a better vet!

Not only did they keep us updated when Sylvanas had her surgery during the day, they helped us get a second opinion with Sabby who we ended up having to put down. I received a rose from them today. in general, they took very good care of my cat! I really liked the doc and the front desk person. The rest of the staff was a little aggressive in pressuring me to get certain tests which i didn't appreciate and made me feel uncomfortable. I am a med student and love my cat so i will do what needs to be done to make her healthy but felt judged if i didn't agree with their recommendation for certain tests or if i chose to do some tests and not others.

We have been taking our German Shorthair here for 3 1/2 years. And we have received nothing but top-notch care, from Dr. Frye and the other vets we have seen. We especially appreciate Dr. Frye's knowledge of hunting/field dogs. Whether it's a regular check-up or an issue such as an allergy, we always know our dog is well taken care of. We recently started using their online prescription services too, which has made ordering super convenient!

My dog has a chronic ear issue that no other vet has been able to help us manage beyond recommending expensive and very invasive surgery. Dr Miller and his team took the time to properly diagnose her condition and showed us how to clean her ears and treat them in a way that has made a tremendous difference in her comfort and health. They recommended a medication that works better than anything else we have tried, and we are so happy we found Ingersoll Animal Hospital.

The vets and staff here are very friendly and caring. They answered all my questions, including general questions not related to the visit that I just wanted to know about. They also really care about their patients. I even get follow up calls to check in. On one visit my critter had a UTI. They had me try some meds that seemed to work, but not entirely. When I came back in they arranged his treatment so that I wouldn't have to pay as much that time. I really appreciate these people, which is why I keep going back.

The veterinarians at Ingersoll Animal Hospital go above and beyond in the are of our pets. When our Ellie developed a dangerous infection, Dr. Peterson met us early in the mornings over a holiday weekend the make sure Ellie got her treatment for the infection. While this type of care may not always be possible, I could never thank her enough for getting Ellie through that crisis. All of people there seem to genuinely take interest and care for our pets. This caring attitude has kept us as clients for many years.

I have been taking my cats here for years. For the most part I am very happy with their care. But I have one big complaint. Every single time we come in, no matter what it's for, they try to get me to pay for another $300-500 of services on top of what I am there for. A couple years ago I wanted soft paws put on my bigger cat. He was grumpy, so they recommended we do a blood panel and anesthesize him to put them on. Turning a $25 job into another $300 dollars on top of a $200 appointment. I passed on their offer. This year I wanted to get said bigger cat into therapy for weight and pain. The consult appointment I was told would be no less than $150, which is fine, but she kept insisting that it is not an accurate quote and that I would have to wait until their yearly appointment to get a most accurate, but still not firm, quote. As I get paid only once a month from VA disability and I have to do my budget for the entire month before hand and the receptionist just wasn't being sensitive to this no matter how many times I told her this. She also then added that it was likely that I would also have to pay another 175 in x-ray costs, all before they could even do anything positive for him. I could not get follow up appointment information either. It is for this reason that I have chosen other facilities for that care for my pet. And if they ever have larger issues I will be forced to change vets. Because they simply are not sensitive to my budget limitations. And it's pretty crappy when you have limitations, you want to do well for your pets, and you feel like your vets office sees you as an ATM. I'm not blaming the doctors. But it is frustrating. I only took one star off because I am not displeased with the medical received thus far.

My dog, Bruno was having health issues that another vet couldn’t diagnose. Ingersoll Animal Hospital worked diligently to find a resolution. After a short amount of trial and error, Bruno is now a happy and healthy fur baby. He still has some chronic issues but takes medication daily and is on a special diet that has worked to keep him healthy. The doctors and the staff have been wonderful and very caring in every situation. I highly recommend them!

When our adult male needed to stay a few days and he wasn't eating well, they asked for me to bring some of his treats from home to make home more comfortable. I mentioned that he likes hiding in small spaces and the next day when I came in, the staff had created a little cubby/hiding spot for Turbo in his kennel. It warmed my heart to see how they had taken that one comment and worked to make his stay better.

All of the staff is very friendly. When calling it never really takes long for them to answer. If they have to put you on hold, its because they are fairly busy, but it doesn't take long for someone to come back to the phone. The vets are very caring of your animal and help you understand everything. Great place.

When my sweet puppy Chica got stepped on accidentally I took her to Ingersoll Animal Hospital. She was in there for a few weeks while they took care of her. I was allowed to come and visit her whenever I wanted and they were so friendly. The Drs and Staff truly loved Chica and they would tell me in detail about her days there; what procedures and her activities. That being said considering how long she was in there...they worked with me on a payment plan. I would strongly recommend taking your animals to Ingersoll if you are looking for a trustworthy place to take care of your loved pet family members!

Had a visit last week for changing bandage for my puppy, I thought they did a good job but when I came out of hospital the entire bandage came off, took my puppy again and the doctor/nurse said they put the bandage again. On the same day the bandage came off looks like they have not a done a good on this one. Very disappointed!!!
