Reception staff isn't the greatest...often get phone #s or pet info wrong. But the younger vet that has been seeing our cats is awesome. He is very nice and personable. He doesn't make the visit feel rushed. He listens to all concerns no matter how silly/small they seem.

The Dr cares about the animals. He went the extra mile to help my cat . When he fixed my cat he took out an infection and a tumor and didn't charge alot it was unexpected and he didn't have to help her. He is awesome and the staff is to.

The doctors are good at their roles. The only problem is the staff member/manager who answers the phone calls, they have horrible phone etiquette and attitude. The staff members should never argue with a family member of the patient over the phone.

I have been taking my cat there for over 2 years the doctor is concern about whats going on with your pet. He gets you the results fast and explains to you so that you understand the issue. The nurses are nice also they take good care of your pet to.

They only got stars because they allow walk-ins. With walk-ins you have to stand and wait outside for more than 60 minutes in over 90° temperatures in the summer. From three years of service I noticed they are very slow compared to other vets. However this can be a good thing in some people eyes. You should be prepare to wait with or without an appointment

Haven't been disappointed yet. Each time I've come here over the years. Its the same great service. The wait isn't usually long. The vet and techs are knowledgeable and friendly. The vet keeps detail notes on each of his patients. Clean organized and professional.

Very very expensive I took my dogs to get spayed and the initial check up was 695 for 2 females after that I paid another 600 the day of surgery, they tell u one price and it ends up being another Response to dr.... I am not saying i am not satisfied with the service, I am just saying ask for prices , make sure you get the correct amounts because had I known I would have had to pay 695 I would have probably waited a little bit longer, but overall I am satisfied ,and I thank you for the credit...It was just a huge slap to pay 695 when I was quoted less then 450. I understand the spayed services were separate I agreed to that, I thank you for your service and again I am happy with the outcome. I just want people to be able to know that they must make sure to ask becuase had I not had the funds I would have been stuck. Ask questions guys that's all, the employees are great , the doctor is great but this is what we must do if we want pets, they are just like kids♡

Everyone who works there was so nice and helpful. The doctor is such a great vet and will explain everything to you. He takes the time to answer all of your questions and makes sure your pet is well cared for. He is very nice and great with the animals. I highly recommend this place. They do have bilingual speakers there for anyone who only speaks Spanish. They do surgeries 5 days a week during the time that are closed during the day. They have parking next to the building. No appointments are necessary.

I am always nervous walking into a vet clinic because I always believe they always want to find something wrong with your pet and try to hustle the most money out of you but not here. Their prices are a STEAL! You go anywhere else and they charge $30 extra just for a visit. People complain about the wait but there’s only one vet and his two assistants. You can’t expect him to work quickly and not care for your pet. He really does and he takes his time. My first time being here I didn’t not receive good news but it was not their fault, health issues happened. The vet here gave me honest answers and he took care of my pet. In the future if I need further assistance I am coming here for sure! Keep up the phenomenal work!

Went today to take my dog. My vet was closed because of the holiday weekend. I called 3 other vets and no one would see me. I called here and I'm glad i did. Everyone is so nice. The vet explained everything to me. Even as a walk in and it being my first time here...we were called with in 15mins. Thank you very much for your GREAT service. Also my dog was very nervous and the vet had so much patience! You can tell that they truly care about animals. I will be going back here!

Oh my God! I just happened to run across some of these comments from pet owners and how disappointing and dissatisfied they are by the experiences at Marquette Animal Hospital. I can not believe Dr. Bhandal has the need to go for the offensive over customer comments. We have been with him since his last location and many pets since then. Someone in office must have time on their hands to have so many offensive replies. It saddness me I can't believe what I'm reading! It's not proffesional it's not like the Dr. we knew all these years. I wonder if he is on board with all this? I have noticed some changes and maybe COVID has made some paranoia but if business is open the the public is entitled to the best of care and respect. I look forward to reading more positive reviews. The best answer to a negative comment is to call the customer and politely deal with it not posting awful remarks to the public to read. I'm still in shock! Not nice not proffesional. If I receive a nasty answer I will pay a visit in person. Your loyal customer of many years.

I'll start by saying the veterinarian was great with my dog! The intake was fast and the wait time was short. My pets veterinarian of years past away and decided to give this place a shot. I called regarding vaccine pricing and decided to go after the receptionist clearly quoted rabies $25, distemper $25, and bordetella $29. The veterinarian wrote those exact amounts on my receipt with a total of $79. She proceeded to charge me 99. When asked, she said he priced it incorrectly. She also denied quoting me over the phone. The worst part is she changed the prices right in front of me...wrote right over the veterinarians noted charges. Word of advice: call for pricing and verify the exact amount they are quoting you before your pet gets anything here. If there's anything I hate is feeling deceited. I'll be going elsewhere!!!

Very affordable office exam fee and other services are definitely within reason. I took a foster kitten here last year for a suspected ear mite or yeast infection. The total was $50 (if I recall correctly- it was about a year ago.) for the office exam fee, ear mite slide test and medication. Recently, I took my jerk-of-a-cat to him and Dr. B handled her very well during the exam. She isn't always very cooperative and has had to have the "cat gloves" used on her before as a precaution at another vet office, but Dr. B handled her like a pro. Ultimately, he had to refer us to a dental specialist for her chipped tooth for dental x-rays after she chipped her tooth while her 11 day great escape. All of that equals to 5 stars in my book, but I knocked it a star because he just seemed pretty monotone about the whole thing and when the exam was over he kind of just disappeared behind a door… BUT overall a good experience. I will definitely visit here again. I inquired about a female cat spay for a friend and was quoted $100. I referred my coworker here for her senior dog's teeth cleaning and she totally loved it. She tried getting her dog's teeth cleaned somewhere else but felt unconfident in the vet so she seemed hesitant when I referred her to Dr. B. After visiting with him she said she felt very much at ease with him and totally comfortable.

I took in my poodle because he was sick. He threw up around 4 time throughout the night and morning, and he also had diarrhea. Throughout the day he looked extremely sad, that's when I decided something was wrong with him because he's the complete opposite of that. So I came here for the first time and they gave my dog two antibiotic shots and they prescribed medicine for the vomiting and diarrhea, and it worked extremely well! The difference in him was night and day after I took him here. I'd highly recommend this place !

The first time I came here, I had to do a walk-in for my cat because he had kidney stones. When I explained to the front desk lady, she took care of me right away and told me the doctor will be in shortly. I did walk in when they just opened and even though people were coming in pretty quick, she made sure I was first in line!

My name is cookie ramirez . I have 4 dogs and ive been coming to this place for 12 years. I never ever ever had a bad issue with this place. The doctor has a wonderfull personality. And takes care of my babys with care and compation. And the girls that work for him are happy to work with him. Ive never seen a ad attitude with anyone. They treated all 4 of my pets well and I always get prompt service for walk-in. They also have reasonable prices on medications and offer better advice for the health of your pets. I went to a different vet on Pulaski nearby for my diabetic cat. They suggested me the insulin brand Lantus. . . . which is a brand for humans and it cost me $300 without tax. With Marquette Animal Hospital they suggested to me an actual diabetes insulin brand specifically for cats and it only cost me $118. They also have diabetic food for your cat which other vets don't in my experience. The doctor is really nice and the nurses are always friendly and welcoming.

Dr. Bhandal and the staff at Marquette Animal Hospital have been a Godsend to all of my animals - both my own and the strays who I have brought in for examinations and vaccinations for about 22 years. My animals love him and his staff. I trust his judgement. He has done right by all of my animals. One of my dogs recently had a serious, specific eye issue and he sent us to a specialist instead of trying to treat it himself. I have family in the human medical profession and they, too, love and trust Dr. Bhandal and the staff at Marquette Animal Hospital. They put the health of their patients and their staff FIRST. THAT I respect. Given the COVID-19 situation, we have hesitated before we brought our animals in for their annual check-up. We had no choice since my kitty and my dog were sick. Their physical distancing, ULTRA SAFE protocol was a RELIEF. I hope that people understand that we ARE experiencing a pandemic and these times are not comfortable for any of us. Marquette Animal Hospital has been and will continue to be one of our favorite animal family veterinarian hospitals. I just wish that Dr. Bhandal also specialized in helping turtles!
