I had to euthanize a 15 year old dog this week. It was a good experience, as good as something like that can be. This practice is small and efficient. The Vets and Vet Techs are amazing. You never feel like a number when you go there. I have moved my animals to this practice about a year ago and am glad I did.

Dr. Healey is the best! She is very kind, compassionate, patient, caring, and thorough. Dr. Healey explained the whole process, while being compassionate, and gave me all the time I needed when having to put my doggie Rocky down. Thank you for your kindness and help at my Rocky’s end of life. Now several months later, I now need to make another decision with my one and only doggie. Dr. Health is being very patient. I absolutely love this place! The staff is so amazing and always are so sweet to my dog Montana. They are always honest and tell me exactly what I need to do to make sure she has everything she needs. I would recommend going here and even asking for Dr. Crystal! She’s super sweet and will love your furry friend!

My mother and I just became homeless (living out of a van currently) when our eight years old husky Panda started acting weird. We brought her in only to discover the worst… cancer and a mass in her chest. It was heart wrenching and I’m typing this as we schedule elsewhere for a euthanasia to end her suffering. I loved this place however. It will always hold a place in my heart for how kindly they treated us. They squeezed us in same day and ran all sorts of diagnostic tests and scans. They even told us to stop by any time during the rest of the week if we ultimately did decide to put her down. We won’t probably be able to do it here just due to an equally kind vet I'm also rushing to write a good review for we ran into a little closer to us but I would 100% feel comfortable and trust them to treat my dog with kindness and empathy. I recommend to anyone and wish the best on every member of staff. We’re all the way from Florida where we have had some truly horrific experiences with vets and felt so welcomed and supported here it brought both my mother and me to tears.

I'm so glad I decided to give them a try! Chelsea was amazing as was her staff! Friendly, kind, professional, patient, compassionate and with a sense of humor! My 2 year old Boykin Spaniel and I saw Dr. Chelsea Croghan for our first visit at Cottonwood this afternoon, and it was the best vet visit we’ve had. All of the staff from the second we walked in were kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. Dr. Croghan is incredibly knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and was all around great with my pup and I. We had the heartbreaking task of putting our sweet, beloved Doxie down. They were so kind, compassionate, patient and caring. The doctor explained the whole process and they gave us all the time we needed. They were wonderful and I highly recommend them.

We have used Cottonwood for a few years now, usually Dr. Tiffany Healy. The staff there have all been great. And all of our pets like going there too. We appreciate that they have both a brick and mortar practice and they also do house calls. We’ve sadly had to use them now a few times for that house call we all hate to schedule, putting a beloved pet to sleep. I appreciate how they have been professional, compassionate and have given our family the time we needed to move through the necessary steps in this painful process. And we really appreciate that they come to the house to make it easier on the pet and their family. Would recommend!

So far, I thankfully have only needed basic preventative care for my two kittens. Cottonwood was recommend by several coworkers. They were accomodating to my schedule, sent text reminders of my upcoming appointments, and saw my kittens timely after we checked in.

We have been going to Dr Healy and her group of techs and other Dr's, caring, thoughtful, will take the time to spend with you. We had to have our 15 year old cat 🐈 put to sleep today and it affected them also. They had watched Sandy grow over the years. It's kinda like an animal family if that makes sense. My little Chiuaua, Lula, had infection in both ears. She was quite miserable. We are here visiting my father, so, not familiar with the clinics. I chose to come to Cottonwood Vet Clinic for two reasons: excellent reviews, and, they were able to see my Lula right away! Dr. Healy has been so wonderful caring for our English bulldog Maggie. She and her assistant made several visits to our home to care for her corneal ulcer that we didn't even realize she had until Dr. H. used her ultraviolet light and found it. Then she used Maggie's own serum to make eye drops to heal it with, since it also had not responded to prior antibiotic treatment before we moved here. It was amazing!! She is the kindest and most thorough vet we have ever met, very knowledgeable, gentle, and obviously experienced. We trust her totally with our pet, and are confident in the advice she gives to us. Every time I need a quick appointment because one of my fur babies are ill or injured, they are always willing to get me in. Being a pet owner, I know the value of having the support of a good vet. My dog Packer is not a perfectly trained, obedient, docile dog. He picks and chooses when and what commands he wishes to follow. He was given an “early release” from puppy classes. He has chewed up solar lights, drain spouts, furniture, and dug up electrical wiring. However, he has also sat by my bed for hours after several surgeries, will spoon with me when I have a migraine, and is gentle as a lamb around small children. He also loves cats and all dogs from tiny to XXL. I needed to find a vet who truly cared and could handle all types of animals. We found that at Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic. I can’t thank Dr Healey and her staff enough for the tender and professional care they gave Packer after he was bit by a rattlesnake last week. It was a horrific injury and past the anti-venom timeframe by the time we got him back to town. This professional caring team did not give up on him and gave him optimal care & got him over the hump. I was able to take him home and continue his care with their support and guidance. Packer is on the mend and back to his ornery and loveable self. If you want the best for your pet, this is the place. If it is true that a dog wags his tag with his heart, Packer will always wag his tag for the team at Cottonwood Vet.

I thought the staff was so friendly until they insisted on showing me how to clean my dogs ears before applying medicine which I already own two other dogs that are prone to ear infections which I had stated on my first visit ... come to find out .. them “showing” me how to apply the cleanser and medicine which I would have to do WITHOUT THEM costed me $22 and when I asked about this “ear flush” which costed $22 they insisted it was how they applied the solution and medicine for my dogs ear infection and I said I’d have love to have known that you “showing” me something I’m already aware and prepared for would cost me $22 . U will NEVER have my business EVER again . Edit December 1st 2018: Laura the Manager contacted me and resolved all the issues and really did an outstanding job at making sure that her customers are being well taken care of and I really do appreciate it so much that she had reached out to us because I will for sure be giving them many more opportunities thanks to her kindness as well as how kind they were when we had first went besides that incident. I look forward to our future with our dog Rose at Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic.

Did a Csection great job but after that sent home my dog got sick which happens but they charged me again for a follow up appointment I don't think is right we seen the Vet fit five mins and charged me 75 bucks on top of the 700 I paid for the operation I really don't think that right when I was a brand new client.

We have had pets for 50 years &so happy to have found cottonwood and Dr Healey. She's a real pro, always explains and gives options. Very fair with prices. Euthanized 2 of our pets and just such a pro yet empathetic. So helpful at end of life care, options clear and helps guide when it's time to say bye. Our current lab was 7 when we found Dr Healey,and she found a bad ear infection immediately that he probably had for years and other vets didn't find. He had operation and we stay vigilant, but he lost hearing. Makes me so grateful that Dr Healey found it, but if others had, he might be having a better retirement. He's so beautiful and good,yet it's hard when they can't hear. So we will faithfully keep our furry family with Dr Healey. She's the best. But let's not forget her staff and partner! They are all top notch. Customer service is top notch. So many small courtesies are given that I can't write them all. It's such a blessing to have that care and confidence-i trust them all implicitly. 3/16/23 adding current review. Dr Healey and staff recently saw both our young German shorthair pointers. They are all excellent at working with difficult people. My husband is firm and difficult to deal with. They all worked with him and our dogs ended up with great experiences. I will always have my boys see the best!
