This is so hard to write. In the process of moving to Cheyenne from Alaska, our oldest girl Jade had been diagnosed with cancer. It traveled quickly from her leg to her organs. We made the tough decision to let her go & Cheyenne Pet Clinic was recommended to us. When the time came, my husband and I walked into the clinic and we were clearly a mess. The receptionists at the front gave us a reassuring look and kindly said “we already have you checked in, feel free to have a seat”. Initially Dr. Church was who we hoped to see but we had Dr.Calhoun. I will have to say…Dr. Calhoun was a blessing. He was kind, compassionate and thorough with us through the entire process. One of the nurses offered Jade chocolate in a cute container that said something like “no dog should go to heaven without trying chocolate”. It was nice to see her eat chocolate as a last treat. She laid down next to us, closed her eyes after a time and shortly after her second shot, she was gone. We wrapped her in a red blanket they had laid out on the floor for us & I swear in that moment she had never looked more beautiful or so at peace. Jade was always a proud, graceful girl and this team allowed her to go out with dignity. They sent us a card a few days later as well. This entire staff will forever be in our hearts for giving us such a compassionate experience in our time of deepest pain. They have earned our business and we will bring our youngest girl here for any future needs.

The Cheyenne Pet Clinic is awesome and truly cares for our beloved pets. The staff and vets always take such good care of us and are friendly, reasonably priced, and knowledgeable. When our cat needed urgent care, the vets provided emergency services in the middle of the night to try to save him. Although they could not save him due to ongoing illness they were extremely compassionate with our cat and with us. I would highly recommend this Vet clinic.

It’s always a pleasure to deal with Dr. Church and his staff at Cheyenne Pet Clinic! They have cared for our fur-babies since 1980 and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to treat us any better! Took my 8 1/2 year old Pom into see Dr. Church for her rabies shots. He is the best Vet in Cheyenne and gives all his patients the best care. Takes the time to answer questions. Makes a pet owner feel very confident that their pet is in good health when you leave the office.

We have always taken our pets to Cheyenne Pet Clinic. The staff there are wonderful, so friendly and willing to work with you if your fur baby has anxiety or the like. Prices are very reasonable and meds are available in house for reasonable prices as well. I moved across town years back and I didn't even think about getting a new closer vet because the Cheyenne Pet Clinic had done such a good job with our animals that I wouldn't choose anywhere else!

Our dog that we brought in is a nervous guy. He's unsure of new places and people and does not like other animals very much. They did so great with him when he came in. They took it nice and slow and eventually won him over with peanut butter.

We recently moved to WY. Included in our family move were two precious small dogs. The oldest one was having heart problems and we found we needed a vet PRONTO. We called Cheyenne Pet Clinic at six in the morning and met Dr Farrell at the clinic at 7:30am. She was so kind and compassionate, and our Chumley liked her right away. With shots of Lasix, Dr Farrell saved Chum and kept him going for another month. Eventually we had to help Chum cross over on Nov. 4th. Dr Farrell was kind and efficient. She was waiting for us and helped us through a very sorrowful painful situation. Since then we take our other pup to CPC. Everyone is helpful and pleasant. One can tell they enjoy their jobs. Thank you all.

We called to have our ferret checked out because we suspected he had an infection or stone and they got him in right away. All our babies went with and their behavior and demeanor was completely different from what they normally are. While there all 4 ferrets were relaxed enough to curl up and fall asleep. Our old vet they would be going psychotic

There has been a change in doctors at the clinic and I have been seeing Dr. Schmerge. She has been very attentive, professional and explains things clearly. I love when a clinic says they will “follow up” with results and check ins and actually does it! Kudos to CPC for great care. Only request is that they bring back the 24 hr. Emergency care. Cheyenne is lacking in that area and it was nice to have this option at the clinic I take my animals to.

We have been taking our pets to Cheyenne Pet Clinic for years. The doctors and staff truly care about our pets. They listen to what we have to say, add their knowledge & treat our pets like they were their own. And the prices are very reasonable. For a clinic with state of the art equipment, I would expect higher prices, but again, the pets come first. I cannot recommend them enough! And they are open on Saturdays!!!!

Cheyenne Pet Clinic has done so much for the dogs in my life. Recently my Whoodle puppy was spayed. Dr. Church called right after surgery to let me know it went well. When I picked her up, she was fully awake and doing well. They explained aftercare and have checked in by phone twice to make sure she is still doing well. Amazing Staff!! Our baby boy Thumpkin passed away and we took him here for cremation. The staff was wonderful and caring. They shared our pain and understood our grief. When we went to pick up Thumpkin they were once again very sympathetic. The service was one on one. They did not just say here is your dog. They walked around the counter to hand us his remains with a hug and heart felt apology. A card arrived in the mail today with a hand written personal message. They went above and beyond to make a hard time easier. Thank you so much for your loving staff!!!

I was concerned about my Senior dog"s vaccination. He has had severe reactions in the past. The Dr. used a puppy sized needle which was more comfortable for a small dog. He also suggested Benadryl. My dog had minimal side effects this time. The staff is great and the price was affordable. I highly recommend them.

Cheyenne Pet Clinic is amazing! The facility is so pretty and welcoming. I was seen immediately after walking in. The woman who helped me was so compassionate and kind. I felt like I could ask any questions I wanted to. This place could possibly be the only wildlife rehabilitation center in Wyoming for small wild birds. I had a hurt pigeon for over a week and everywhere I contacted said they would just euthanize it. If this place didn't exist I don't know what I would have done. The pigeon was given and x-ray and since it was still a baby, will be able to make a full recovery. They also have an angel of a woman who volunteers to rehabilitate birds such as the little guy I brought in. I’m just so grateful for this facility and their commitment to quality care for all animals, whether it is wildlife or house pets. I would recommend this place to anyone!

My pup is a ring rescue and was terrified when we walked in, but we were greeted by an amazing tech who was able to calm my pup and helped make her feel safe. By the time to Vet and her tech came in and gave the shots, you'd never would've known that my pup was terrified at all and had just met them. 100/10 this will be the only place I ever take her. My poor corgi started having GI issues after eating her normal dog food. I called Thursday and they set us up for an appointment on Monday morning. My pup is always so relaxed in this environment and their team is great with her. Dr.Peterson was wonderful and the appointment went quick. I've been taking my furbaby to Cheyenne Pet Clinic for 7 years. The entire staff is very helpful. The building is beautiful and decorated so cute. The vets and vet techs taken extremely good care of my dog. Three years ago he was viciously attacked by a huge dog (mine weighs 14 lbs.), and I nearly lost him. But, I could always visit my dog any time, and I feel like this helped immensely in his recovery. He had two surgeries and didn't eat for 6 days, albeit I brought him chicken and ground beef everyday. On day 6, he finally ate for me. What a relief! In spite of all vets being amazing, I do have a favorite: Dr. Duden.

I had to make the decision to have my old doggo to sleep. He was 17 years old and he started losing the spark for daily life he used to have. They walked me through the process of what it consists of they were patient while we made the decision they were patient after everything and before the procedure they explained the things that could happen they gave us a blanket so he was more comfortable and they let us take our time saying good bye and took us out the back door so it was more private I have only lived here 6 or 7 years but this has been the only place I have brought my animals the care and compassion this place has is fantastic I picked up his ashes yesterday and and they referred to my dog by his name they never said let me go get them they said let me go get Toby for you it’s that personal feel for me thank you Cheyenne pet clinic for making my dogs journey over the the rainbow bridge a good one and our fist time having to go through this much easier 🥺

Very please with my visit. Both myself and my puppy were treated with respect and compassion. The lobby was busy but spacious so we didn't feel crowded. The entire office was impeccably clean and there were no trace smells typically found in clinics and kennels. The staff were very welcoming and made you feel like they looked forward to you coming in. The wait time was minimal and once we saw the vet we didn't feel rushed. Dr. Calhoun listened to every concern and provided genuine advice. He even personally made the follow up phone call to me to provide fecal results and check on my puppy. They provided plenty of wellness pamphlets which if I wasn't already an experienced owner and handler, would be highly beneficial to both me and my dog. This clinic is an hour drive for me but well worth it. I will be transferring all of my other pets here as they become due for checkups and shots. Hands down one of the best clinics I've been to in my 18 years of pet ownership.

I was able to follow up with the front desk over the phone and receive recommendations for additional care which I really appreciated. My family and I have used Cheyenne Pet Clinic for decades; they've always treated us and our pets (mostly cats but a few dogs, birds, and rabbits) extremely well. They're reasonably priced and very knowledgeable, and very willing to work with CSU veterinary school if a condition proves to be difficult or rare as has happened before. I've never had a problem getting an appointment, and the staff always treats me well. My current pets hate any change, but the staff know how to help soothe them so it's not so stressful if I need to bring them in for treatment. They have even helped when I found small injured wildlife and was unable to contact wildlife administration, and they took the animals in until the proper organization could be reached. Definitely pleased with all they do and their service.

Exceptional staff and care for our pets. As we also see in other pet friendly locations in Cheyenne, most medium and large-dog owners do NOT have their dogs under control and are ignorant about the correct collars/leashes to control a dog. This is the case literally EVERY TIME we are here--more than once one of these dogs has slipped out of its collar and it takes the help of a staff member to catch it. This won't keep us from coming back but it is extremely irritating, especially since we do have our large dog under control at all times WITH the correct type of equipment!

The reason for the 4 stars are limited appointment availability and there are so many vets at this clinic it seems impossible to be able to see the same vet more than once. For this reason, it’s tough to get quality extended issue related care to address an on going issue because you truly may never see the same vet twice. This place is perfect for bring your animal for routine shots and onetime visit issues but not great for multiple appointments to diagnose an issue because there is never any patient/vet relationship or knowledge. They will get you in, give your pet their shots and get you out pretty quickly though.

They are people who you would want to meet when you are under stress and have worries. I don’t know where Dr. Church found such an awesome staff but they are 5 star. We used to love this place. Each experience after the first year has slowly gotten worse. When we were there this year it was terrible. Not only were they rude and dismissive at the front desk but the vet was not great. One of our dogs had a murmur and he suggested seeing a cardiologist. There was no assistance with getting this done. I had to figure out where to take her then has to ask for his notes sent down. There wasn't a note in her chart about the murmur. The email I received states the murmur could have been from anxiety. Aftee spending almost $700 on the echo we were told there's nothing that needs to be done. There has been no follow up from this vet. We are very unhappy.

Such a great clinic. They are very busy and handle lots of animals, but they still make every visit special, never make anything feel rushed, and give outstanding, specialized customer service. The wait times are never too long, and appointments are never too far out. Dr. Calhoon was so gentle and awesome with my scared puppy. He took the time to make her comfortable and was so gentle in the exam. I spoke with Dr. Church after hours one weekend about a possible emergency situation. He could have easily charged me 100s of dollars for an emergency call, exam, x-rays etc. but he recognized that it wasn’t actually an emergency and she was just running a fever. He talked me through how to easily treat her at home and I am so thankful for that. She was just fine. Truly outstanding, knowledgeable clinic that cares the most about their patients.

I would have given one star for how my pup was treated. We had an emergency at night. My pup suddenly became unable to stand, had his limbs go weak. Called the emergency and they said they can look him at night for $150. Price wasn't a problem. We went there and the doctor literally just checked his breathing and said she didn't know what's going on and asked us to take him to FC. I had to tell her my pup was running fever and only then did she measure his fever which was 105. For the price paid, the doctor did nothing at all. 3 star is because I really liked the clinic and its staff for my 3 previous visit including one emergency at day time where they were really helpful and also called for follow-up. I would bring my pup to any doc in Cheyenne pet clinic except the one at the night emergency. Edit: 5 star only coz Dr. Church called personally and tried to understand what happened and ensured he would look after it, which is why I'm willing to trust my pup here once more.

I highly recommend this pet clinic. My 9y.o. dog had to have tooth extracted, and Dr Church took care of that. I am very sensitive about my dog who is a service dog. I was there to find out what was wrong with my dog because he had been sick all week end. As soon as Dr Church and his staff knew how bad it was, he made arrangements to take care of my dog immediately.Before and after the surgery everything was explained clearly to me. It was after hours and after long discussion with the Vet on call Dr. Dudden (I think I have the right name, if not really sorry) my wife and I decided to take the trip to the vets. The Dr. was EXTREMELY compassionate and assisted us with some decisions that we needed to make. Explained how thing would happen during the process of sending our dog Scooter on his trip across the rainbow bridge. Sat there with us till the end. She said a lot of kind words to put us at ease and it helped a lot. This was the second dog we had to send on a trip in the last 5 month with this clinic. The facility was extremely clean! There was virtually no animal smell! There was a girl disinfecting all surfaces when I arrived, shortly after they opened. The wait was very short. Dr. Magrum and her assistant were friendly and knowledgeable. They took wonderful care of my dog, and even taught me trucks in how to trim his nails without him noticing. 12 hours after being seen, I can see a huge difference in how he feels.

My dog Samuel had to be put to rest due to his seizure disorder. Your clinic diagnosed my mom's other dog Thor with an autoimmune disease last week and this week your clinic had to tell me that my dog Balto had cancer. Through all this your clinic has been amazing. Your vets are very knowledgeable and they are honest. The vet we spoke to about Balto didn't try to sell us on expensive treatment. She told us the truth. That those treatments wouldn't be his best interest. The point is your clinic has been a wonderful and kind place to bring our animals in good and bad times. I know the pandemic has made things difficult but please know in these moments your clinic and staff are very much appreciated.

When I called they knew they were full with appointments for the day but they could clearly tell how concerned and upset I was and squeezed me in. Dr. Crystal checked over my dog and saw she had strained her back and one back leg. She gave us some medicine and said if she wasn’t better within a few days to call and come back. Both times they were very busy but we didn't have to wait for long. Both doctors gave our extended family members the attention I thought they deserved. We were really worried about our kitty Bonnie. We called Cheyenne Pet Clinic and even though they said they were busy we were told to go ahead and bring her in. They put her on oxygen, did some x-rays, and gave her a steroid shot. We let her stay there for a few hours on oxygen therapy. We were given some prednisone to give her at home and told if we needed bring her back in if she stayed the same. So far she seems to be doing good. We love our fur baby Bonnie and are glad that it appears she was just having an asthma attack. Thank you Cheyenne Pet Clinic for taking care of Bonnie and fitting us in today.

They were very helpful and took care to match us with a pet that would fit our lifestyle and our needs. They offer a one year guarantee on the puppy and paid for the first vet visit. We had heard quite a few bad things about them getting puppies from puppy Mills but they had pictures from where they got the puppies and they are all USDA approved breeders. We had a great experience with Pet City. One weekend about a month after we got him, he just didn't want to eat after having shots. I called and they said to bring him in so I did. They got him to eat and gave me food topping to help him want to eat.

I have been going there for years and have NEVER had a complaint about the service, the staff, or the care given. Everyone is extremely friendly and the care is the best I have ever had my pets receive. I was having to bring an ill cat in every month for almost a year and a half for a chronic condition so saw them many, many times. She is alive and the problem finally gone/in remission thanks to their care, I would have lost her otherwise! The cost was low and that was wonderful as I saw then so often. I would call with each flare up and they always got her in the same day for the emergency care. The fact they also do wildlife rescue also impresses me beyond belief.

I took two female and two male hounds here for spay and neuters. These dogs have quickly become my whole life! Trying to find some one I trust with my life was not an easy task. I have always adopted from rescues so I have never had to go through the whole spay and neuter experience before. It’s TERRIFYING but the front desk women were so kind!!! The vet techs were helpful and the doctors were AMAZING! They made it as easy as they possibly could and so clearly care about the animals that come through those doors. We were blessed to see Dr. Duden and she literally saved Nuggets life. She was wonderful with him and so personable. Her bedside manners were excellent and she was so caring when it came to Nuggets health. She was on call the weekend he went in and he had to stay with her and she stayed at the clinic for most of the weekend with him. She loved on him and she loved on us as well. He ended up having to have surgery and he did wonderful. She researched and researched for hours to figure out what was wrong with him and she finally figured it out and he is such a different dog now!! I am absolutely thrilled with the loving care that Cheyenne Pet Clinic has shown to my 14 year old, 7 lb, Shih Tzu after he experienced a very serious eye injury while he was at a local kennel. It is truly evident that the Cheyenne Pet Clinic is the only accredited animal hospital. All of the doctors have been absolutely phenomenal. little Shih Tzu is still not out of the woods, but his eye is beginning to heal. The doctors have been extremely caring and considerate of him. Dr. Church worked with us, most importantly listened to us, and we figured out that what we had been treating as a food allergy was indeed not.
