I love these people. Every one from the front desk to Mr. & Mrs Lee listens to you and what your concerns are, give the animal a thorough check, you can stay with your pet most of the time, just not during surgery or over night. My Dad took our dogs there when I was young and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I tried under a major medical issue once and never again. They are the best, friendly, concerned and thorough.

Always helpful. I really enjoy them. The female Dr. Lee is direct and I really appreciate it. Sometimes in serious situations, people can try and sugar coat problems to spare feelings. Not this Dr. Lee. If you want to know what’s best for your dog, and you can put your own ego aside, go see Dr. Lee.

[2022 Edit]: Today I had my first interaction with Dr. Early, the newest addition to the boulevard family. Dr. Early is kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. I arrived with an acutely sick cat in fairly critical condition, and Dr. Early rapidly identified the issue and provided care that may very well save her life. Boulevard Animal Hospital continues to grow and provide world-class care to the animals in our community.

I have two tiny chihuahuas. They're both under 10 lb. They got there yearly check up. And the rabies shots they're good to go another year. They have a very nice office and the people are great. Can't complain. I love West Virginia it is so relaxing here and the people are so kind and they all seem to love animals which is a plus for me

KBAH has the best vet care in the area! Both Dr. Eric Lee and Dr. Paula Lee are extremely compassionate and gentle with all of my pets (3 dogs and a cat). The staff is excellent as well. I have always been able to get an appointment quickly (I think they take walk-ins also). Wait time is usually not long. I have seen Dr. Paula the most and I love that she always gives me price comparisons for treatment before administering anything in an effort to keep the cost minimal. They genuinely care about keeping your animal(s) healthy and well and will do their best to keep your bill to a minimum.

I can't say enough good things about this animal hospital. I accidentally found them working through Feral Paws as I trap feral cats. This animal hospital is so accommodating when I take the cats in to be fixed. They understand feral cats and treat them as family not to mention the kindness they project to me. As soon as you walk in the front door you can feel the family atmosphere. Unfortunately today I had to have Willie, one of the ferals who was only 2 years old, put down because he was very, very sick and he tested positive for leukemia. The doctor was very gentle with Willie while he was examining him. He told us the outcome of his test and answered all of our questions with a very passionate attitude. Great, great animal hospital!!

A friend recommended Dr. Lee to me 2 days ago. I called the office yesterday and got my puppy in today for a well check and some vaccinations. They allowed pet parents to come in with their pets as long as they were wearing a mask. My dog came from the animal shelter and had most of his services done there. The problem is that they couldn’t get him in until the 27th. I didn’t want to wait that long so I called the Boulevard Animal Hospital. The staff was very friendly and professional. You could tell they genuinely care about animals. Dr. Lee was exceptional with my dog. He’s very kind and has a way with dogs. My puppy loved everybody in the place and didn’t want to leave. I am so happy I found this place. I’m very happy with Dr. Lee and his staff.We found a great vet!!

Everyone is so nice here and you can really tell the vets really do love the animals. They'll even get down on the floor with the dogs and give lots of treats, too. I'd really recommend this place. Edit: recently had to have my dog of 13 years put down. They were so kind and caring and compassionate. They made sure that not only was my dog comfortable, but my family as well, as they placed us in the consultation room which was nicer and had a couch instead of the small chairs in the clinic rooms. They gave us all the time we needed and informed us of the process. They even made arrangements at the crematorium for us and they are very understanding. They made this difficult process as easy and painless as possible. That is why this will always be my top choice for a vet office. Edit 2: they even sent us a condolence card in the mail. I could go on and on forever about my love for this clinic.

There really are not enough good things to say about Kanawha Boulevard Animal Hospital. I switched to KBAH after my previous vet continued to charge me an "emergency visit fee" of $35 to work my animal in when I needed them to be seen by a vet the day of for an immediate need. Both veterinarians are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They continually go the extra mile. I have been impressed by them, their staff, and their facility, from the moment I switched vets to KBAH. I have never had an issue getting an appointment if I call the morning of. The vets and staff remember both me and my pets. And, importantly, the fees from my visits are always incredibly reasonable. I won't ever go to another veterinarian's office. KBAH deserves five out of five stars!

I personally really love them! We take both our boxer and my cat there. I gave 4/5 because I usually wait 1-2 hours there even with an appointment. With that being said, it was always because they had an emergency with an animal, so I am not super mad about it. They open very early so if you need to get to work on time that it totally doable. They also work with many local rescues and shelters, which is why I drive an hour from Huntington to go there. Very loving and genuine people that will adore your pets!

My daughter found a kitten in the middle of the road late at night, barely clinging to life. With the amazing care provided by Kanawha Boulevard Animal Hospital, and kindness that couldn't be matched anywhere provided by @GGFuryPurrsOfWV, whom covered all medical expenses, she now has a healthy, playful, beautiful Tall Morty, and I couldn't be more grateful. Thank you to all of the people involved in showing my daughter that it's never a bad idea to offer a helping hand to anyone, regardless of species, at anytime. The only vet I will take my cats too! You can tell that the entire staff truly loves all of their patients. They have very reasonable prices and only run tests that are necessary to get your pet feeling better. My cat got extremely sick overnight and I got him there as soon as they opened. He was taken back immediately and was cared for all day. Thanks to Dr. Comer my cat is feeling much better!

Being first time visit, I was easily worked into other busy appointments. When first entering this vet office, although I was wearing a COVID mask, the smell was exceptionally clean. Friendly staff welcomed my pet and myself. Within half hour, we were in examination room ~ pet weighed, nails trimmed and minor testing by a friendly girl. Veterinarian introduced herself and listened to my concerns patiently then additional tests were quickly performed. Upon leaving, they have a secure pet area out back for potty time. I will definitely make this my all time vet. Thank you all !!!

Having never met them before, they went above & beyond to make my boy (and us) as comfortable as possible. You can immediately tell they do their job because of their love for animals. My Dog Pepper got bit by a copperhead, they was very attentive, professional, caring, knowledgeable, and could tell they love the animals. Very reasonable on prices and will work with you on payment plans. My Dog is doing better and is expected to make a full recovery. The staff and doctors are honest and do a wonderful job.

Over the past 15 years I have used Kanawha City vet and Valley West, and switched to this vet facility about four years ago. They are amazing. I usually see Dr. Comer and she’s wonderful. Yesterday, my 15 year old dog fell down a flight of 14 stairs and when I called at 7:00am they had me bring her right in. We saw Dr. Lee and she was amazing with my Bella. They are wonderful people and are always looking for the most cost effective approach for treatment. They even called at lunch time yesterday to check on my dog. ❤️❤️ Update: We had to put our Bella down today, she was 15. (Three months after her fall described above). I’ve never seen Mr. Dr. Lee before today. He was so amazing and empathetic. He got down on the floor with my husband and I, and talked through what Bella was dealing with. He examined her and told us the kindest thing to do would be to put her down at this point. Her issues now were in her spine. They took us to another room with a couch, and a large ottoman for her. It felt like a room at home. He gave her a tranquilizer to begin to make her sleepy. We had a good 15 minutes to say goodbye to her. We were comfortable and she was comfortable and we were able to snuggle and love on her. She fell asleep and was snoring when they came back to put her to sleep. It was the most beautiful way to say goodbye to her and I’ll never forget all of the effort they put into this experience. They are absolutely wonderful people.

We called ahead and they told us that they would accept our dog as a walk-in after 2:30. We were seen very shortly after our arrival. The doctor and staff were very thorough and careful, and after a bit of blood work and some x-rays, our dog was diagnosed with arthritis in his spine. Overall, we were very happy with our experience at this vet.

I had switched vets a couple of years ago and found that the caring employees make you feel comfortable and treat people more like family than purely professional. When your pet is I'll or just in need of a check up, the staff is great. But I had to let go of mother's dog today, and it was handled without added stress. Mom died in 2017 and I took over caring for her dog Lilly since that time. Lilly finally let me know it was time to be with my mom and made my decision to let her go, for me. Thanks to the staff, my probable bad day was much easier. Thanks to everyone !!
