Wow!!! I’m super impressed with this hospital and staff. My baby girl hasn’t been eating for the past few days and has had me worried sick! Her behavior had completely changed and we knew something was wrong, but we couldn’t figure it out. We took her to a hospital yesterday and waited 4+ hours to be seen. Today we called Pennsauken animal hospital from another hospital recommending (due to the ones around us being at max capacity) & we were able to get in an urgent care visit right away. Dr. Woodcock and his staff were so appropriate and showed my baby so much love as if she were their own. She actually came out of her visit in a calm demeanor which tells me she was comfortable! She’s not even that calm at her regular primary office. Yesterday we had a horrible experience elsewhere and she was so stressed she went to the bathroom on herself…Which has never ever happened!! That broke my heart. Thank you all so much for taking care of her and figuring out what was going on! Seriously considering leaving my primary and making this our permanent place due to how comfortable she was and how loving the staff were! Definitely people who are passionate about what they do!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

They take great care of both my dogs. We recently rescued a lab mix with many health problems. They worked with us and now he is thriving. When we got him, he was 85lbs and a mess. It's now 6 months later and he's 116lbs and looking and feeling great.

I don’t ever leave reviews, but this Hospital and their staff deserves it. They are the definition of love for pets. They are the most compassionate and caring people I’ve ever encountered. They took my puppy without hesitation and tried their best with him. I also rushed his brother in right after and they took him in without hesitation. They provided top tier service for him. They are definitely the most accommodating, compassionate, and their love for animals is definitely above and beyond. Thank you so much to all. I will be forever thankful for this Vet Hospital.

They're nice to deal with but I have not connected with any of the vets. I get the feeling something is missing. The first time I took my cats there for a pre neutering check up the vet was rough handling my cats. I did not like that and neither did my cats. I go there because they're convenient. Cherry Hill Animal Hospital vets are really good but their prices are outrageous. House Paws makes home visits and the tech and vet they sent out were super nice and thorough it's just hard to get a fast appointment at times for house calls. So like I said this place is convenient.

Today I had to put the most lovable pup down. He was over 13 years but unable to stay on his feet and lumps all over. The staff here was so very compassionate and caring. They gave us plenty time to adjust and treated our Tangles like he was the only dog in the world.

Okay experience, brought my dog in for a new patient, yearly checkup including exam, urinalysis, fecal and blood work. We scheduled a visit and was seen quickly, however we have a 140lb dog and was put in a cat exam room, not appropriate for our dog. The room was tiny, awkward standing in there with myself, husband, vet and huge dog. She could not check range of motion for my dogs hips nor did she spend hardly any time checking vitals, oral health, feet, etc. Whether this was because of the inadequate room or something else, im not sure. The tech recommended the most expensive blood work option and then could not explain the difference in blood tests, nor could the vet. There are three ranges of blood tests, ultimately we choose the second because no one could explain the full scope of blood work, not too reassuring. Everyone was nice but for the price, service performed and lack of ability to answer our questions I will most likely seek a new vet for my dogs future needs.

We went there to have my 13yr old rotti put to sleep. They were extremely compassionate. They gave us plenty of time with gabbie before and after. I had an emergency. My vet kept me on hold. I hung up and called PAH. They have urgent care for just a bit more $ and told me to come in. I had PAH for my previous pets and never should have left them. I asked for my dog's records to be transferred there.

Very nice place! My dog was suffering from an upset tummy and I’ve been so worried about her but from speaking to them over the phone, the nurse who picked her up from the car, to the vet Dr. Honeywell, to the nurse who brought her out, they were just amazing with my dog and put me at ease! This staff is absolutely the type of bubbly, charismatic, “dog people” personalities I want caring for my baby! We will be coming back! Thank you so much for taking such good care of my Piper! ❤️

Our dog broke a toenail pretty bad, into the nerve and bleeding and we didn't feel comfortable with at home care. Pennsauken took care of our dog and endured he was comfortable every step of the way and followed up to check in. Would recommend and will continue using as my pet urgent care facility.

This year has been very challenging to say the least. My family had to say goodbye to another beloved family member. We were blessed to have honey for 14 beautiful years. She was the most loving and funny dog we have ever had the pleasure to have in our lives. When a horrible day comes and you have to say goodbye, it's very comforting to have such sympathetic people like the women at this hospital. They kissed her with love like she was also part of their family which meant more to me and my brother than they could every know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!❤

Our puppy was spayed at this facility! I wish they were not so far away from my home. They were awesome . Everyone was very friendly and professional. The receptionists and the doctor’s assistant were helpful and patient. They answered all my questions and were extremely attentive and polite. Dr. Shannon Heintz was amazing. She called to keep me informed on how my fur baby was doing before and after surgery. She even called the day after surgery to ask how my pup was making out. This was a great experience for me and my fur baby!

My cat was neutered here. He ran into some issues and they provided care not just firing the surgery but even for a few days after until issues resolved. There are some lingering issues (surgery was over the weekend) and they are still incredibly caring and helpful. You can tell they truly care about the animals.

I am a new pet owner so I've never been to a vet before. Everyone there was super friendly and accommodating when I had to reschedule my appointment last minute due to my cat absolutely refusing to go into her carrier. The vet was gentle and patient with my cat and answered every question that I had and explained everything clearly. Will definitely return for future appointments!

Making an appointment was easy. I recently adopted a pet and needed to have an exam done within the first seven days. I called them told them my situation and they set me up within two days of adopting my pet. When we arrived we alerted them of our arrival, the waiting room and office were clean, the staff were extremely friendly, and our wait was not long. When we met Dr. Turner she was pleasant, knowledgeable, she made my new furry family member comfortable. She answered all my questions on food, treats, the general temperament of the breed, and what to expect and watch out for.

This office handles both urgent care issues and regular vet appointments. They have tons of availability, even night appointments! The staff is extremely friendly and you feel right at home. I just took my dog there for an excessive tumor growth of her mammary glands and the vet assessed it, took bloodwork, did a chest xray, and gave my dog multiple vaccines for less than $600! Unlike other vets nearby who are charging $1000 just for a check up! I couldn't even take myself to my family doctor and get all that done for less than $600! The vet, Dr. Moore, spent a great amount of time with my dog and also with us answering all questions and concerns and you can tell she truly loves animals and thoroughly enjoys her job! She is very hands on and involved in the whole process and I never felt like she was trying to rush out of the room. My dog wasn't anxious or afraid one time and she seemed to feel very comfortable at their office. I got an estimate for surgery to remove the tumor lump on her abdomen and its nothing to fall over about - again, reasonably priced. The next day after our appointment, less than 24hrs later, Dr. Moore called me and personally went over all xray and bloodwork results, carefully explaining everything. She went on vacation for a week, but is going to call me when she gets back just to check and see how my dog is doing! Yes, the vet is going to call, not her staff! Amazing office, great location, reasonably priced. Your pet will definitely be in good hands if you go there. I highly recommend!

Couldn't get an appointment with my vet or nearby animal hospital & didn't want to wait. Pennsauken took us in. Very competent staff. Addressed our concerns. In fact, went back with a different dog emergency. Will continue to use them.

This is the best place to take your pet when they aren't well or just for a check up. I took my dog Shadow last week because he wasn't his normal self and wasn't eating and could barely stand up. We had to carry him to the car to get him there. They offered to give him meds for pain and to try and increase his appetite but said it wouldn't help for too long. We'd mentioned putting him down because he was at the age. They agreed 100% with us and said that it was the right thing to do as much as we didn't want to. But we didn't want to see him suffer and we believed if we didn't put him down he would've gone on his own in a matter of time. They did such a great job. They gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes and when we were ready they gave him meds through an IV to knock him out before giving the meds to put him down. We've put down another dog years ago @ another vet and they just gave her a needle and she was gone within seconds. But Pennsauken Animal Hospital was amazing @ what they need. I would refer everyone and anybody to them. My baby boy is in a better place now and no longer in pain.

Good morning, my apologies. I thought I submitted this post back in May to discover that it had not been submitted. My family and I have been bringing our kitties to your facility since March 2021 when we needed to bring one of my mother's cats for emergency care when he fell ill. We have also brought two other kitties for care, one of them another emergency, since then. I was at your facility on or around May 11th with a feral kitty which had been in my neighborhood for years and which I discovered dragging his hind legs while crossing a street in my neighborhood. I just wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU to all of you, especially all of the numerous staff members who kept us updated on Buddy's status. THANK YOU for the kindness and compassion you showed to this poor soul and for relieving him of his pain and suffering. THANK YOU for allowing me to give him dignity at the end of his life. Also, THANK YOU to the donor (and all of the donors) who made it possible for Buddy to get the attention he and all ferals deserve. I will never forget the compassion and kindness Buddy was shown at the end of his life. In a world where there is so much cruelty, I am so very grateful that there are people who exist who truly care for animals, whether they be pets or those who were never fortunate to spend their lives in a happy home but who, despite their circumstances, were truly loved.

We took our two kittens here just for a check up and clarification on issues they currently have and it was an overall great experience. I didn't catch the techs name but she was super compassionate and gentle with both of them. Dr. Mukalian was also very thorough and gentle explaining everything to us. Also, the whole clinic was very well cleaned and maintained. It was a great experience and we 100% trust our kittens health and wellbeing here.

I’ll share my own personal experiences- I’ve experienced long wait times with appointments - and I got hives last time while waiting (because it took so long). I’m allergic to cats and the rooms are not cleaned in between pets. But the vets are kind, professional and provide my pet with excellent care so I guess I’ll just budget more time for the appointments from now on.

Our dog Eleanor has been going to this practice since her adoption. The staff is always incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable from the Drs , techs, and receptionists. Recently Ellie had an emergency requiring testing and surgery. Dr Turner, the techs, and reception practically held my hand and always made sure my dog was comfortable. Everyone was so professional and friendly it made me fee comfortable taking my little baby there. When he got his shots and medication he handled it well. Normally he would wine and try to jump all over. They let me be involved when giving him his medication it not only let me but him feel calm. Our last vet always made us feel like we were bothering them or something. I’ve been to Pennsauken Animal Hospital 3 times in the last month and each time the parking lot was full. I’ve never felt like Dr. Roppolo and the staff here were rushing us. TBH, Dr. Roppolo has a better “bedside manner” than most of my own doctors as a human lol. The vet nurse (Lizzo, I think she said her name is) remembered us each time and seems to truly care about my 2 high anxiety pups. The people at this office are so wonderful, kind and helpful. My new kitten was sick and they immediately took him in to check him out, no appointment necessary. I was overjoyed with how incredibly sweet the staff are. My kitty's doctor, Dr. Woodcock, was so patient and understanding and knew just how to help my baby. I had to rush him back the next day, and they took him in 30 minutes before closing! Now my little kitten is eating again and is on the road to recovery! I seriously cannot thank you all enough. I was worried sick, and now things are looking up! The visits were more affordable than my past emergency room visits at other pet hospitals, too. I LOVE Pennsauken Animal Hospital!!! Our fur baby had his rear left leg up due to an unknown injury. Called & was given an 8pm appointment. Due to work schedules, that time was perfect. Due to COVID, when you arrive & park, there is a sign to call & let them know you are there. You get checked in then asked to come inside. It is spacious which I liked due to our dogs' anxiety. OH!! They have an "office cat" walking around so if your dog is not 'animal friendly'; make them aware--you can wait in your car until it is your turn. We dealt w/Dr. Wendy Turner who was AWESOME! Our fur baby was never socialized so he is not ppl nor animal friendly. Dr. Turner was extremely patient w/him. He was muzzled, hence, she showed him no fear. Doc suspected a torn ACL which appears to be known in their breed (Staffordshire). We were given an appointment for Monday, January 03rd so he can be sedated for X-rays. I was given medication to get him mellow so he isn't so anxious. Highly recommend for he was extremely CALM. While sedated, he was given the necessary vaccines he needed. Due to the office not having anymore Rabies' tag, I was informed it would get mailed. That became a nightmare because it was taking far too long in the mail to be received. I returned January 10th & I was told to give the mail more time as another one could not be issued due to the assigned number on tag. I returned on January 15th & discovered it was mailed to the wrong address which explained why I didn't receive it. I was asked to wait & see if they'll receive it back in the mail. I received a call on Monday, January 17th from Danielle stating they will issue another Rabies' tag but they're unable to change it on the certificate (which is fine). I went the following day to pick it up. Danielle apologized via telephone & when I arrived as she was unaware another tag could have been issued. Our fur baby was referred to their sister-hospital for the surgery needed as Pennsauken Animal Hospital does not perform surgery for torn ACL. Still gave this place 5 stars bcz (although I'll admit, I was frustrated w/the tag fiasco & going back and forth from Philadelphia) mistakes do happen & I was happy another tag was issued. Overall, the care given to our fur babies was great & a misunderstanding shouldn't omit the ratings in a review. Took my female dog for a wellness check & vaccines on Monday, January 10th. Her anxiety is over the top & having a muzzle on only makes it worse. She was seen by Dr. Pamela Mukalian who was a GEM! She sat on the floor w/her to make her comfortable. She was very patient & understanding. Our dog allowed the Doc to draw blood from her & even check her teeth thru her muzzle! Although I saw negative reviews on here, I still gave this place a chance hoping I wouldn't be one of the individuals regretting it. Needless to say, it was a great experience.

Today, I faced my first big medical decision for my pet. Dr. Woodcock has been working with my pet. He is very knowledgeable and informed me of every treatment option. He educated me on each option and gave me the breakdown of each. I want to thank Dr. Woodcock and the rest of the team for taking care of my pet. Thank you for your expertise and your confidence going into this surgery. I really needed to hear and see that before agreeing to put my pet under anesthesia, especially because he is older. I was provided an update while my pet was being prepped to go in for surgery and after surgery was completed. Thank you to everyone who took care of my pet today.

It was our first visit with our cat. The staff couldn't have been more friendly. We were in and out quickly with the medicine we needed. We will be bringing our dog there for his check up! 5/1/22 update... We brought our dog in today for an ear infection. They checked him out cleaned out his ear real good and sent us home with some medication.

The best veterinary service that I have ever experienced! An urgent care visit for my dog Sophie’s scratched cornea lead me to Pennsauken Animal Hospital for the first time. During this visit my dog received the most compassionate and in depth care than she has in 8 years of going to my previous vet. Not only did they treat her eye but they also addressed my concern over a lump that has formed. My previous vet completely disregarded the mass. But, pennsauken validated my concerns and gave me options on how to address the lump. Today I went for an appointment to get the mass biopsied. Took my 2 year old Husky into urgent care because she couldn't keep food down and had diarrhea. Employees were quick, responsive and transparent. Turned out my pup ate a large rock and had a blocked intestine. The vet gave me options, But ultimately suggested surgery. While the price they quoted me hurt, I'd do anything for my pup. They ended up charging me less then they originally quoted me, It shows me that they have integrity and honesty, in addition to the fact that they did a good job on my dog. They were informative didn't rush me and help me understand how I needed to take care of her after the operation and followed up with me the following day to make sure my pup was OK. Pennsauken animal hospital will be my go to for my pets from now on. For the price ,the professionalism, the Passion And the quality, you can't beat it.

This place is amazing. It started off with Jennifer on the phone. She was so nice and they were able to get me an appointment about an hour and a half later that same day! As soon as I got there Jennifer and the other girls were so in love with my new Husky (she's 9 weeks and adorable; what's not to love!) We sat for no more than MAYBE five minutes probably even less in a GORGEOUS lobby! It looks like everything is brand new; even the exam rooms! They gave me a goodie bag too for her first visit! We were taken back where we met Crystal (I believe that is her name I am so sorry if it is not!) I believe she was the vet tech and she was JUST as nice! The girls were all hilarious with their interactions with my dog! They answered all my questions and we had fun going through the process! Then I waited MAYBE not even ten minutes for Dr. Ana to come in. She is a gem. Absolutely awesome. She spent SO much time answering every question I had and gave me amazing advice. Her bed side manner is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I've only gone to one vet back on Long Island my whole life with my animals and this place just raised the bar exponentially. Sadly, because of COVID-19 I never went inside the hospital. When you arrive, you will pull into a numbered parking place and call to let them know to come out and bring only your pet in. For the safety of the staff and other animals you will remain in your vehicle. I suggest you bring a beverage on hot days. The staff is very friendly and caring. My cat had dental surgery and I received a follow up call the next day to see how he was doing. They will work with you with a payment plan if the procedure is expensive. I highly recommend Pennsauken Animal Hospital if any of your pets need medical attention.

Pennsauken Animal Hospital was nice enough to squeeze him into their already-booked schedule. Our dog was seen, and we were home with meds and care instructions within 90 minutes. First of all, I am totally new to this animal world! I have never had a pet. So when I needed to get my new baby vaccinated.. I totally freaked out!!!! I anxiously googled Vets near me and got so many different options. So for some reason I called one , not Pennsauken Animal hospital, and made an appointment. But the next day I didn't feel right with my decision to go with that place. Sooooo, I put a question out there on Facebook for suggestions on a good vet. Well, of course there were many different options but one suggestion that kept repeating was Pennsauken Animal Hospital! Not sure why, but it felt right to me and I made an appointment for the next day. I am so glad I did!!!!! From the time we came in the receptionist Genn greeted us with a bright smile. Chris was our nurse and he was so gentle and friendly to our baby. Dr. Anna was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!!! She really took her time to explain everything to me and my family! She was patient with us and all of our questions, and we had a lot!!! I feel so glad I asked the question! Pennsauken Animal Hospital is amazing, it's clean and everyone there loves what they do. Sidenote: Dr. Anna is a native Spanish speaker! What a blessing, because my husband feels more comfortable speaking in Spanish. I highly recommend Pennsauken Animal Hospital!! Prices are reasonable and most importantly the customer service is superb!!!!

I like this Vet because they are friendly and care for animals in a way that actually shows. Because of pandemic..can only do drop off and wait in car in parking lot. Definitely NOT their fault. I would much rather be with my fuzzball..especially during an unforseen visit. They communicate by phone and keep updated with all thats going on. So during these strenuous times, they do everything possible to make pet and owners confortable. However , there is appt fee and also a fee for their PPE.. $6.50 for disposable gloves. Masks arent disposable, at least not the ones I saw. And they wear scrubs. Have yet to see anyone with the protective gowns. But maybe they started using since pandemic and I just haven't seen. $6.50 is crazy orice for a pair of gloves so hoping they are weaeing gowns. They didnt wear before pandemic. Not the times I was there. Maybe during surgeries?? Not sure. Just a head's up. Appt fee plus PPE fee.

Took my cat here (Scar) thought she broke her paw... rather than doing an x-ray and other expensive procedures the doctor recommended that we give her medicine and see how things went after that.
