Fantastic vets! They serve ferrets. We had an issue with another place because they weren’t thorough with their exam and so the problem kept persisting but the vets at Shelburne Veterinary Hospital listened to our concerns and gave us proper medication for our ferrets.

We just been here with our new puppy. We got a quick appointment, the staff was super friendly and welcoming to us. Our vet Liam has been great. He's very professional, he took extra time to answer all our questions and had helpful Tipps. Also our puppy was left with a good experience, so he will remember the vet as a happy place to be. I cannot recommend these folks highly enough!! Firstly, they are equipped and knowledgeable enough to manage care for my fussy ball python, Spike, who I last brought to them for having not eaten in over 6 months. After following their care suggestions I had her eating her rats within the next week. Second, After a terrible experience at VCA Fitzgerald, I brought my neighbor's FIV+ kitty here for an infected foot. The techs and doctor were very kind, attentive and knowledgeable. They took excellent care of sunshine, provided an effective and affordable treatment plan and were very genuine in their care and concern for Sunshine's health. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful vet and will be bringing all of my cats here from now on!!!

They are amazing and are attentive. Other vets tend to double charge for my lizards when only one is having issues, but Shelburne Vetetinary Hospital does not. My lizards hate being apart from each other, so I have to bring them both or they will become distressed. They do not push you into getting unnecessary tests, when the noninvasive and mild treatment is cheaper than the test itself. I love them and they truly love my pets. They ask to hold my lizards who love the attention and pets very much. 🦎 PS: Thank you so much for letting me call in with questions. Adele and Drake are my first lizards and the advice is greatly appreciated.

We are so incredibly grateful to the staff and doctors at Shelburne Veterinary Hospital. They fit our dog into their busy schedule even though we weren't existing clients. They then quickly diagnosed him and helped us make a plan for his treatment. He has at this point spent 3 days with the staff while being treated and they have been nothing short of wonderful.

I started taking my pup to this vet about a year ago and we love them! I adopted a 1.5 year old dog from a rescue in the south and she had a few minor health issues when we got her. The vet and vet staff were extremely competent and put me at ease after listening to my laundry list of questions and worries about her. My dog also LOVES going to the vet. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a vet.

I cannot emphasize enough how wonderful this place is. The entire staff is so welcoming, warm, understanding, and especially patient. Dr. Raezer truly listens to all of your concerns and answers any of your questions without ever making you feel rushed or dismissed. You will always be heard and you’ll never be made to feel silly for asking. The vet tech staff does amazing work and they’re such a calming, friendly presence who are very patient with my nervous dog, which I’m so grateful for. They truly treat your pet as if it were their own, and you as family—trust your beloved pets to this team, you won’t regret it.

Brought my cat here for the first time recently. She is not very friendly and gets very nervous around strangers. Dr Raezer was extremely patient and kind toward my fur baby, despite the resistance. She was also patient with me while answering all of my questions. The rest of the staff was also very professional, and the facility was extremely clean. This was the first time my cat wasn't sick from anxiety after a vet visit! Highly recommend. The staff really cares about pets.

Changed vets recently when the wife and I got a new puppy. Heard good things about this place. First impressions are very positive. The Doctor was great. Came outside to talk to me personally. No game of telephone through the vet tech. Had the records for our older dog moved over to this place.

The team here is wonderful! They are very kind and compassionate and took great care of our reactive pup during her first vet visit. They made both us and our girl feel very comfortable. They were clear in sharing how the visit would go during covid, they were clear in sharing information and when the visit was over and Dr. Raezer came out to speak with us we never once felt rushed or hurried in asking our questions and left with a lot of understanding and excitement to return - which is saying a lot for a vet visit!!! I have been going to Shelburne Veterinary Hospital since I first moved to Vermont in 2016 after they were recommended to me by a friend. They have always been incredible but they were truly put to the test yesterday when I brought my Rottweiler mix in for a dental cleaning and mole removal. Dr. Bisson had been suggesting a dental cleaning since we first came to him 5 years ago. I had always put it off because I was extremely anxious about putting her under anesthesia. However, after I noticed significant changes occurred in a mole that had been growing on her snout, we scheduled the removal for a short week and a half away. Since I knew she was going to have to go under anesthesia for the removal, I asked if we could add on the dental cleaning. The woman ran right back to Dr. Bisson and asked him, who promptly agreed. In the days leading up to the procedure, I grew more and more anxious (I am a pharmacist and my dog is my absolute world, so you can imagine I had A LOT of questions and concerns). The office was sure to answer all of my questions and called me throughout the procedure to keep me up to date. We even received a phone call the morning after the procedure to check in on her and answer any more questions I had. I am SO thankful for the support of the entire team as well as their knowledge and expertise in handling my girl. I couldn't recommend them enough!

I take my 3 month English Bulldog puppy here. The staff is awesome and really knowledgeable about the breed. They are great and I had a much better experience taking her here opposed to the other vet I was using in Burlington. They're also open on Saturday's for a half day which I think is helpful as most other places are closed all weekend.

I called around to find a vet with availability to see my dogs for an annual checkup and to advise on issues that arose with my dogs. One dog is old and grumpy. The staff was so good working with both of my dogs and so friendly to me. They helped with all the issues the dogs were having (urinary and broken tooth). I'm so glad I found Shelburne Veterinany Hospital!

Came in to say A+ all around (again). Dr. Raezer speaks for herself. Easily the best Dr. I’ve ever dealt with. She listens, and answers questions without being in a rush! We love her! What an awesome Veterinary Hospital! I was there Sat and yesterday and both times Ashley helped us! Another Gem and great with my Pup! I especially love that they squeezed me in to have bandage changed seeing as though Monday is probably their busiest day. Ty again! Back with another 5 star review. In addition to Grace we now have a 3 month old Chocolate Lab named Scout. She is a handful and everything applies to the previous post I made. I have had 5 dogs in my life and I can’t stress enough how awesome Shelburne Veterinarian Hospital is. I had a voucher for $50 from the AKC for Scout’s first visit. The fine print read on voucher/coupon that they needed to be a member of the specific “Vet Network”. They are not and without asking at the point of sale for the $50 discount it was already deducted from my balance. How cool is that?!?!?? A+ Best Veterinarian around! They are top notch and have been excellent with Grace (Lab puppy) since we decided to try something different. The staff are incredible! They even followed up 2 days later (via phone) after getting Grace her boosters and meds for a minor ear infection. Libby is also an asset and one of the best at what she does that Ive ever seen!

Extremely kind and great Docs at Shelburne Animal Hospital. Came in for a yearly vaccination visit as well as an ear infection later on. Dealt with both doctors and they are great. Fully explain the procedures and what the expenses might entail. My dog loves the entire staff. Would highly recommend this facility for any animal lover/owner.
