My girlfriend and I recently had to make the very hard decision to say goodbye to our pet dog. They made her comfortable and had superb bedside manner. They were very sympathetic and consoling to us and for that we are forever grateful. Not only that but shortly after that day we received in the mail a hand written card from the doctor that was beautifully written as well as 2 paw prints that brought a tear or two. A simple gesture that will be never be forgotten. I never give google reviews but I got to give credit where credit is due.

The staff here are amazing. They kind, supportive, and patient. I had to have them hold a check i mailed once due to miscommunication with my other half. They didn't hesitate to honor my request saving not only my account privileges but also a TON of money. Plus the veterinarian I work with seems super confident and knowledgeable. He's friendly and informative in a way that doesn't make you feel attacked as a pet owner, which is comforting. Hands down best place to being your animals

The staff at Petit Brook Vet. have been fantastic! Raven has alot of extra energy it seem and has had to have a couple of unexpected visits to Petit Brook. They have always gotten her right in and made sure she got the care that was needed as quickly as possible. The staff is always friendly and right on time. Thank you SO MUCH for you help, especially with our last visit. That was a scary one, but as always you were quick to respond and very professional and so great with her.

I recently moved to this area and set up my cats as patients with Petit Brook. Everyone is very friendly, very responsive, and obviously love animals (a necessity in a vet's office!). The vet and the staff always take the time to call after an appointment to make sure their patient is doing well. They are very responsive to my questions, and take the time to thoroughly explain what they are doing or recommending. I highly recommend Petit Brook for the care of your pets!

Dr. Armstrong and staff are exceptionally caring, even in a stressful situations. Amazing bedside manner, you can tell they enjoy their work and love animals. And that's the most important quality to me. I pay attention to every detail from the moment they took my cat, to the follow up calls they make to make sure your pet is recovering well. I consider myself lucky to be in their care. Never change. Your pets and owners appreciate you.

We had doctor Mike for our puppies first check up and I had lots of questions and doubts concerning vaccines. Dr. Mike answered my questions very thoroughly and thoughtfully, understanding my concerns and recommending what he thought would be best for my puppy based on facts, statistics, and common sense. He spent so much time with us, I couldn't believe it. Best Vet experience ever!! I love Petit Brook!!

My dog is very old (17 yrs) and gets cranky especially towards new ppl. As soon as she met everyone we came in contact with She made friends with them all. They're amazing with her. We brought her in last yr for 1st time thinking we may not be leaving w her. The Dr suggested a $7 medication and it worked miracles. Earlier this month we again noticed something was off and with heavy hearts brought her in again they suggested we try another med again it worked wonders and was $10. They could've made a bunch of money from us if they ran expensive tests, etc. They did not do that. Is best Dr we've seen with her and they're also the least expensive. Absolutely amazing people and affordable prices

Very clean with happy people working there. We had a sick pet they fit us in quickly. Rates are reasonable. Waiting area has several sections, so you don't have to have your pet near others if needed

We have had a great experience with Petit Brook and our accident-prone puppy. She actually loves going to the vet and always trys to get up on the exam table while we are waiting! We especially love Dr. Mike and the care he takes to explain and answer any questions we have.

My 11yr old Chihuahua "Zoey" was recently exposed to kennel cough and became very sick from it due to her compromised immune system. She has had intestinal problems for some time now. The Vet Millie and her assistants were wonderful in treating Zoey and communicating with me as to what and why or why not things were being done. It was pretty serious and she got deathly sick from this and they were everything I could of asked for at that time and my little girl is back to herself thank you Millie and others. I definitely recommend them.

Best veterinarians I have ever had. You can tell they honestly care about your pet. Dr.Mike cared for my elderly cat for two years, always being gentle, asking lots of questions, and being very thorough with exams. Dr. Millie took amazing care of my kitten while she had leukemia. They are also wonderfully sensitive when it comes time to relieve pets of pain; both of my kitties needed to be euthanized and Dr. Mike and Dr. Millie helped me weigh the pros and cons and were supportive when it came time to make the hard decision. I will absolutely bring future pets to these guys.

The clinic is new, comfortable and very clean and the staff is top notch. We waited comfortably for a short period, was seen promptly and the visit was not hurried. We feel very good about our decision to use Petit Brook to look after our cat, Paddy.

Wow! My fearful dog ate snacks out of Dr. Millie's hand, and licked her! Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. They didn't push any unnecessary meds or procedures. They took the time to explain the pros and cons of everything. I'm so glad I went there. I called my daughter on the way home, to tell her she needs to bring her animals to Petit Brook. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We love Dr. Mike! Being first time puppy parents has been scary, frustrating but very rewarding and Dr. Mike has been with us the entire way. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and appointments are easily made on the phone or internet.

I rarely take the time to write reviews, but Petit Brook has provided such excellent care for my dogs that I feel it's really worth it to share my experiences with their wonderful team. We usually see Dr. Mike Tanneberger, and I cannot say enough good things about him. He is always willing to take his time and get a feel for the needs of each pet, which makes a huge difference to me because one of my dogs is very fearful and can be difficult to handle. As the other reviewers have mentioned, the team at Petit Brook is very thorough - I have often felt that other vets are simply hurrying through a "checklist" in their examinations, but Dr. Mike and his technicians truly pay attention, asking questions and really listening to my answers. He is also very good about explaining my options for treatment without pushing me in any direction. Many times the staff at Petit Brook has gone above and beyond, calling to follow up to ask how a pet was doing, remembering things I would have forgotten, and even spending time on the phone with me to answer questions that other vets would have required a visit for. I highly recommend the entire team at Petit Brook! :)

Millie Armstrong and her staff are the best most considerate, caring, and well educated clinic in the area. I have been going to Petit Brook since Millie started about 16 years ago. Well educated and kind, it does not get any better. In fact I have lived in Shelburne for the last 10 years and still choose to travel to Petit Brook.

: I love how they treat my babies like their own. They take the time to greet them and talk to them.. They truly care about them and treat them as individuals. The many trips we made there after P.J. broke a bone in his leg were always good visits and they always took the time to love him up. P.J. truly loves Caitlin. On one of his visits to change his splint, the staff even signed his bandage.

When I moved, there were plenty of vets in the area but I still choose to travel to bring Townes to Petit Brook because I don't believe she would receive such a great level of care anywhere else.
