I took my protective, fearful and anxious dog here the other day and the staff was fantastic! They needed to take blood to check for heart worms, I was afraid my dog would have a fit. I agreed to let them take him to the back and do his exam, shots and blood draw. I could hear the whole time that my dog was being so good because they kept telling him so :) That is the 2nd full exam he has had since a puppy and he is 4! I have been going to Dr Madura since 2008. She and the staff truly seem to care about your animals and answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend Pet Care Clinic!

Reception staff is professional, compassionate & knowledgeable. Dr. Wendy Madura interacts with the animals with unending patience, gentleness, compassion, and takes as much time as needed to explain everything to the pet owners. She truly cares for the animals, as well as the people who come into the Clinic. I've been taking my pets to her for over 15 years and there is no one I would trust a much as I trust her, and her staff.

Would give five stars except this practice has become increasingly busy. Dr. Madura is experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate and fit us in for an urgent, non emergent issue. This involved dropping off the dog and waiting until the doctor had a few minutes free, which was several hours. Under the circumstances, this was a reasonable plan of action. We’ve been with her for over seven years. The practice may benefit from some additional part or full time vets on staff or a lighter patient load.

They are very professional and knowledgeable. We brought our senior mini dachshund here for the first time and they were amazing with her!! They answered all the questions we had, the place is super clean, and the staff are all really kind. The appointments are awesome, they get you in right on time which is great. Such compassion for everyones pets. Great experience! UPDATE: The best and most compassionate vet we’ve been to. We feel like they take amazing care of our dog, and all the vets are just stellar and super wonderful people.

We literally had just moved to town when our cat started having issues. Overnight he progressively got worse to where he couldn't walk, was no longer crying, threw up, and was lethargic. Dr. M saved his life with emergency surgery and amazing care. The staff is wonderful. The place is clean. I highly recommend them. They are so caring.

My 1 year old German Shepard mix had something lodged in her throat. I couldn’t see it or feel it, but knew something was wrong. I called ahead and Rushed her in for an emergency. The staff Immediately took her back, within minutes they said they could dislodge the obstruction. A few minutes later I heard her familiar bark! She came out within 15 minutes and was good to go! Thank you to all the staff for your support

Doctor is always nice, assistant reminded me of a character on the show "sunshine cleaning" Mary Lynn Rajskub... she was also really nice!!! They were fast at getting us in and out, and they did the bacteria testing in house, which saved time, and had the allergy injection on hand which was awesome. We just missed one thing, and didn't update his vaccinations, but we were busy talking about his other prominent issues. It was spendy, but that's not out of the norm for animal health care, lol. But it wasn't egregious, that's for sure! :) Overall, always happy when I leave there.

Always the best! Staff and Dr. Madura are kind and caring. My senior dog has been wheezing constantly and coughing over the weekend; they worked him into the packed schedule to see him the same day. So grateful for them.

The wait was unusually long: I arrived 20 min before appt and was first seen 1/2 hr after appt was to begin, then waited additional 30 min before being seen by doctor, then 40 min to wait for labs and treatment plan. Dr. Madura was knowledgeable and explained the findings but I wish she had explained the treatment better. She gave Linus two shots but what were they for? The bill was predictably high for a senior citizen on a fixed income but payable. Overall, I am happy with the service and will return.

I have used Pet Care Clinic now for almost 10years. I have boarded my dogs and cats, my cat had to have medication 2 times a day. I have tried other vets but return to Windy. Very caring to my animals. Just had my little Buttons teeth cleaned. They answered my concerns and any problems I thought were, problems, quickly. Their location for us is a little unhandy we live in Star.

My wife and I are eternally grateful to Wendy Madura, DVM, Connie Cannady, DVM, and the Pet Care Clinic staff. Our, CJ, our Ragdoll feline baby girl, became gravely ill within a few short weeks. Pet Care Clinic was one of the only clinics that could get us in the same day, and their professionalism and kindness was absolutely amazing. Dr. Madura quickly diagnosed CJ with Stage 4 Kidney Failure, but wasn't willing to give up on CJ just yet. Her team showed us how to give her fluid injections at home, walked us through the process, provided all of the fluids, tools, and medicines. This treatment was very affordable and so easy to do at home. The treatment made our CJ so comfortable, and within a few hours of Day 1, she was dancing, playing, and being her old sassy self. You could immediately tell that she was no longer in pain and was so happy to be able to spend time with her siblings and her family. CJ's condition was serious and incurable, but we were able to spend another amazing week with our baby girl before we new she was ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge. The night before her passing, CJ went up to each of her siblings and gave them licks and head bunts that she never had done before (CJ was a Diva and never did this - it was always the other way around). She also jumped up onto the couch and walked onto our laps and laid down with her head held high for 2-3 hours. She just purred and rested in our laps, looking up at her mom of 14-years, something that she did not EVER do. She was saying, "goodbye." The next morning, Dr. Madura was available via call, and when we knew the time was right, the Pet Care Clinic immediately got us in to help us say goodbye within 20-minutes of us calling. They had a room set aside for us and Dr. Cannady was so patient, kind, and compassionate with us. They treated CJ with the respect and sweetness that our Diva deserved. They went above and beyond by offering to taking free custom footprints of her paws. They offered to have her privately cremated, and returned to us in an urn within about a week. We were prepared for a significant final invoice, but the cost was so affordable, we literally cried in the car on the way home, thanking God for The Pet Care Clinic and their support. About a week later we received a beautiful card from Dr. Madura and her team, saying how sorry they were for our loss. The whole thing seems like a blur, but we know one thing, The Pet Care Clinic and Dr. Madura and Cannady, showed us what true veterinarian care and compassion should look like. We are forever grateful for the love and respect they showed CJ, and all of our beautiful fur-babies will be patients for life at The Pet Care Clinic. When a business can reduce their customer's effort, connect with them and their patients at a sincere and genuine level, and demonstrate an eagerness and genuine passion to help, it's all you can hope from any type of business, but particularly one that is treating and caring for your family. We're customers for life now, handsdown. Thank you Dr. Madura, Dr. Cannady, and the entire Pet Care Clinic team for everything you did to help us and our baby girl. We are eternally grateful and advocates and champions for your clinic and services!!!

This is the second time I have taken my fur baby in for his teeth. His breath was getting bad and I could tell he needed some pulled. They do so well with my pets. Dropping off the are so calm and nice. My dog wasn't even shaking when I left. When picking him up you can just tell how your pet behaves that he was treated well. Great people and amazing Vet. The cost of the service was not bad at all. I totally recommend Pet Care Clinic!

Very friendly and caring. We had caught 2 stray kittens-one of them got suddenly sick and had to go to the ER-so we brought other one in to Pet Care to make sure she was ok. Not only did she get a very thorough exam but the doctor made sure meds for both kitties was adequate.

Dr Wendy is amazing. She has been our vet for many years with wonderful care, follow-up and compassion on many family pets. Our most recent addition a 1 yr old pittie was recently diagnosed with Addison's Disease. Dr. Wendy is helping us find the right levels of needed lifetime meds. And she also caught a an obstruction in the intestines. She treated it conservatively by giving fluids and watching for it to pass. We avoided a risky surgery thanks to Dr's caution and willingness to wait.

I have a mixed review. While I appreciate them helping my hurt dog, there was one thing that was very much not alright. When I asked Rochelle, the vet tech, to cover her mouth when she was repeatedly coughing in the exam room-she told me she didn’t even know she was doing it. What?? My favorite Vet left the practice so I’m not sure what I’ll do at this point.

They were crazy busy. We had a cat not eating so had to treat her as an emergency. I was glad they were able to get her in promptly and they were thorough! I would have given 5 stars if there had been better communication, but considering they squeezed her in, I completely understand! Our cat is feeling MUCH better! They were all very kind to everyone that came in! It was a very warm environment, which is nice because having a sick animal can be stressful!

I have been going there for several years. I feel like family when I take my cats there. I use them not only for their wellness visits and shots but when they are not feeling well. They are so compassionate with my kitties 😸 💕. I just adore their Dr. and the entire staff. I also board them and they seem very happy when we pick them up, not like get me outa here happy but just happy to see us 😊. I highly recommend them to everyone 😊 😀 ☺ 😄!!!!

Ladies in the front were nice. Vet was very nice too. There was a little confusion about which pet I was bringing in so that was surprising since we made it clear on the initial phone call that it was a new cat in our home. However, they straightened it out pretty quickly. The price for an initial exam and one rabies vaccine was $75. To me it is a little high considering the exam was pretty quick. I asked for the free nail trim since it was our first time. Not sure if they would’ve offered it if I didn’t say something. Overall it was a good experience and they showed a lot of love towards my kitten.

All of the staff were friendly and professional. It was easy to call and make an appointment, and they were flexible when I needed to change the time on short notice. Honest and reasonable billing policies too (I had booked an annual exam for my cat and when I got there, they said it was too early for updating his shots - they rescheduled the appointment a few months later and didn't charge me for the initial visit!). Most of all, they treated my cat with care and kindness!

I’ve been bringing my dog here for 3 years and they have always taken great care of us. The past couple times however we have waited over an hour and a half in the lobby and exam room which makes my pup extremely anxious the longer he has to wait. I understand emergencies happen and push things back. Yesterday a very rude customer refused to listen that they couldn’t hold their cat while they administered the shots, mainly because they didn’t have an appointment or open exam room and the front desk ladies handled the situation VERY WELL AND PROFESSIONALLY, the customer on the other hand absolutely did not. Don’t listen to their review, a room full of people witnessed this interaction.

I came here because I felt my old vet didn’t truly care about my dog. When I came here, the staff was so friendly and the vet made sure my anxious dog felt the most comfortable. The staff was amazing; I called around to several vet offices in a panic trying to get my dog in because she wouldn't get up and was constantly whining, she is my baby, so I was crying pretty heavy and this was the first office that treated me with compassion. Initially they told me that they were booked for the day but she could tell I wasn't doing good so she asked me what was going on, placed me on hold to talk to the vet, and came back within minutes saying they would squeeze her in whenever they had a chance if we could drop her off and they did just that. AMAZING! My doggo is okay thanks to their care. I can not recommend them enough.

We have taken our pets to Pet care clinic for nearly 20 years. The staff is always great, they are efficient, kind and helpful. When our dear dog had to be put down a couple of years ago, they were so gentle, respectful and compassionate. They even sent us flowers the next day. We have used the boarding and grooming services as well. They truly care about your furry family members and treat them with love, just like you would hope. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

I just started using this veterinary office for my fear-reactive 2 year old lab. I am very pleased to be able to be with him for the exams and help ease his fears. Even though he barks at the staff, they have not made him wear a muzzle, but trusted me to help manage his reactivity. I am pleasantly surprised with the amount of time spent with the veterinarian at each visit (I saw Dr. Kumar at two separate visits) and the availability of appointments to get my dog seen when needed. Everyone is very kind and professional and the prices are fair. Definitely 5 stars.

I love this Veterinarian clinic! The staff is friendly and professional, the clinic clean and up to date on the latest technology and most importantly they respect dog and owner alike. The prices are reasonable and they do not oversell, they outline the dangers and leave the optional treatments up to the owner’s discretion and don’t make you feel judged. Lily (my chihuahua) has been going there almost 2 years and I have never had in issue. In fact, we recently added a new furry daughter to our family, Scarlett and I can’t wait to bring her in. When our kitty suddenly cried all night and could not go to the "bathroom" at all, just try, and if he could pee, it was only the size of a marble on the kitty litter! Dr. Madura and her staff got our little Felix in pronto and evaluated the situation, talked to us, proceeded after our conversations to correct his situation. She is up to date on the newest technology and truly LOVES animals. Her hubby and staff are devoted and understanding as well. It is highly recommended, and her prices are very fair. My sis has trusted her with pets for over 10 years, and I see why.

It’s always hard to find the best quality vet in a city. Luckily, I found the Pet Care Clinic in Meridian, and it’s a two minute drive for my home. they give the best care for my two cats, they don’t force them to do anything they don’t want to do and they ask a lot of questions which I appreciate because that tells me that they do care and want the best for your animal. Dr Madura is excellent at seeing my chihuahua on short notice and the staff there are so kind. They are always happy to see us and understanding that my boy is kind of an assh+le when it comes to being at the Vet. They always ask about your budget too and call before doing too much which is very considerate. My dog has always received excellent care and they leave us with great instructions and medicine if needed. I will be using them for my dogs lifetime and recommending them to anyone in the Treasure Valley.

Took my cat in and they examined and we decided to do some scans to make sure nothing was broken. I appreciate the timelines in which I was seen and given options for her treatment! My experience has been 5 stars. Well worth the gas money. I should have been there instead of pet health clinic whould have saved me $1,000. You can ask for any vet. I am sure it is comparable but my vet's name is Anisha Kumar. They allow you to come in with your animal even during times of pandemic.

Dog wasn't eating, called several vets on Saturday and all said were booked. Pet Care Clinic was full but allowed me to drop off dog and squeezed in. Very thorough on diagnosis and after fluids/meds, my dog was much better after 24 hours. Thanks so much to staff to accommodating us!!!

Overall, the experience was great. The assistant and vet were very sensitive towards my little kitty. The only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars was because the vet said she'd like to see if my cat had ear-mites. (Tested negative.) But when I went to check out, it was like 30 extra dollars, and I would have liked to discuss that it would have been an additional cost. I want to be the one to decide to do a test if I'm the one paying. Other than that, very pleasant visit.

No problems with the spaying procedure however after being quoted $170 when paying the bill there was and additional $65 added for a "checkup" even after giving them the paperwork showing the dog already had a recent checkup. Make sure you get a solid quote before any procedure as they try to add additional charges.

As everyone knows English Springers are known for ear infections and their Vet’s always test to verify what kind of infection they have before they place the medicine in their ears. It makes so much easier for mom doesn’t have to try to give us the medication daily. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone. I took my granddaughters aging rescue dog, Abby to Pet Care Clinic because she had stopped eating and was lethargic. We had been to the clinic before for a chronic ear infection and they were treating Abby for that also. Dr Slosar was so kind and sympathetic to us. She found cancer and due to Abby's advanced condition and age, recommended keeping her comfortable for the remainder of her time with us. Dr. Slosar supplied us with medicine to ease her discomfort and Abby has gone to a better place now.
