If I could give more than 5 Stars I would. Dr. Dan is the absolute best. He went above and beyond to make sure our dog was taken care of when West Vet treated him as nothing but $$$. Our dog had a large abscess on his prostate and a hernia. He explored every option to fix our boy and made sure it would get done. No matter the time of day, or at 3 am when we had questions or concerns, he always made sure to get right back to us. His staff is amazing as well, so nice and informative. This team ACTUALLY cares about your animal. I will forever use them as our Veterinarian. Love you guys, thank you so much from Diesel and our family for saving his life.

This is the best vet in the valley! They are patient with my anxious dogs and it's easy to get an appointment. The vet leans towards conservative fixes. For example my dog had bad hips and was limping after playing. The vet suggested she lose 20 lbs. Now she is happy and runs without limping!

Dr D has been our vet since he came into the area and took over Dr Hyde's clinic. He's the best of the best with a heart and compassion for what he does that goes above and beyond. It shows! This is the most amazing veterinarian in the world. My dog was extremely sick and on the verge of death I called probably 30 different vets and they all diagnosed her over the phone as having a stomach obstruction and refused to see her for less than $1,000. Dr Dombrowski promised me that he would save my dog's life despite the fact I only had a couple hundred dollars and she kept true to his word and she's a happy and healthy lady today solely because of his passion for animals and his empathy for humans. I highly recommend this place and this man is a saint who will do everything possible to help your animals because he loves animals not because of the money

Took my baby girl here because she was very I'll. Unfortunately it was her time to move on and go rest eternally. Although she could not be saved, Dr Dan and the staff did what they could to make her as comfortable as she could be until she decided she was ready to move on. They were very paitient with me and understanding through the entire experience. They sent out a card with handwritten message to me offering me their condolences. I was never rushed or pushed to make any decision and they were very honest with me.

We've been going here for years. Best value for caring for our farm dogs. You just can't afford to take a cow dog to a pet vet. I prefer the no nonsense approach at this center. Not pushing anti-depressamts. Also came out to do our Goat castrations. He did about 13 each time. It was real veterinary work, right in the field. Only once had a goat bleed for a few days, but then it healed up. Can't say enough good. Dr. Dan? He's great. I love this place. I hope everyone in Emmett can use Dan.

I feel very well looked after by both doctors, they found my Ronja that she had no heart problems, a wrong diagnosis from another vet and I had discontinued the pills because she was feeling very badly with them she is 14 years old and I get on well with her liver problem. Ranger has been adjusted much better with other tablets. i am glad i found this team and again a i need the doc. Praise to the staff and doctors, my 12 year old German shepherd dog was in a catastrophic condition with her teeth because I was always afraid to put her under anesthesia. But now I had no other choice. And I have to say I'm glad that I had it done, 16 teeth had been pulled, my brave girl that was 3 days ago and she is like a changed ...,

We just moved to Emmett and we thought my dog broke his leg. I called them 10 minutes before they closed and they said to bring him over and they would get him in for x-rays. I was totally shocked and was expecting them to just schedule me a different day. When I got there they welcomed us like we had been lifelong customers and eventhough they were busy with customers they got our dog back for scans right away and the vet came out and sat down and talked to me about what he found. Honestly, this was the best service I have ever experienced with a vet. I am very thankful for them and they have gained a lifelong customer in me!

Dr Dan is the man !! Fixed both of our Auggies legs. We had 2 TPLO surgeries in 8 months, and both turned out with great results. Also helped us with our 14 year old lab when it was time to put him down. Great people skills and great service !!

Convenient location, and they deal with all sizes and shapes of animal life. I haven't been impressed with their communications however. They make decisions for your pet without completely consulting with you as the owner. The cost always seems to be higher than what was "estimated" when dropping your pet off.

We have been using Dan since just after he got here. We had been dissatisfied with other vets in town and in other towns and seeking the right one. We found that, without exception, he is the one! He has attended to all our multiple cats, multiple dogs (passed away and present), multiple horses, and multiple cows, sheep, and goats. Anytime we have needed him to care for one of our large animals, he has always come out to our place the same day and often after hours. Always discusses things fully and readily accepts any decision we make for their care. We refuse to use anyone else! He even did an excellent surgery repair on our 4 lb chihuahua that blew out a knee on his rear leg. When our elderly (16) black and tan coonhound had to be sent to heaven, he came out to our vehicle rather our having to carry her inside. He has always been caring. Thank you Dan!! Larry and Trish

Dr. Dan is a great guy and vet but he just pricing every day people out of being able to take their loved pet there. When your son has one dog fixed at 125.00 and he takes his dog (both females) there 4 years later ansdd it is now over 300.00 for the same procedure. It's a bit much. Plus I drive 30 miles one way bc he was reasonable and followed thru. They were to call me yesterday about testing done on my little Jack Russell three days ago. No call. Trying to talk to him or see him is a big problem because his front staff have been rude and it is just a huge nightmare any more. Not sure if driving for an hour one way is worth it. I trust him but I think he has forgotten how people welcome him openly when he brought Dr. Hyde's clinic and spread around the valley what a great guy and decent prices he had. That was our trust in him. What the hell?? I am a little sad about it.

This was my first time there with my fur babes. My husband and I moved & ended up adopting 2 ferral cats from a neighbor whom had left. I took 2/3 there (as my other was pregnant & just had her litter) & it was a great experience! Moo (the one pictured here) did great & seem to almost be calm the whole time. The doctor was thorough and explained all my questions. The assistant was nice as well. Will be coming back with my other here before too long, now that she's had her babies.

I don’t think Google will let me leave the lengthy review I want to. There are so many reasons I love this place that I don’t know where to start. The staff is extra friendly and welcoming! They are the most accommodating business I’ve ever been to. They have a plethora of knowledge and you can trust that your dog is the best hands possible when you take them there for diagnosis or treatment. The biggest thing for me though, is they don’t sugar coat things or try to up sale you things you don’t need. About a year ago my dog had Some serious injuries and chances of survival were very slim. I don’t believe my dog would have made it had I taken him anywhere else. They are 100% worth the 2.5 hour drive for us and we wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else! (PS. They are a busy office but just like a great steakhouse.. they are only busy because they are the best!)

We went to Gem Veterinary Clinic for the first time since coming to Emmett. The staff and Vets are such wonderful people. They took care of two dogs for us very quickly. I had used the same Vet for 10 years prior to moving to Emmett, and it's hard to find a new one ; but I think we have found the right one for our dogs !!

We love this place. We put our dog down a few months back and Dr. Dan came out to our house. Then we got vouchers for stray cats and they all did well. We recently went in and took our ferret to Dr. G and he was able to tell us that he can get the stuff to look at the ferrets teeth and we able to check up on him thoroughly. I'd recommend them and they are also cheaper than other places. For a ferret (exotic) check up it was $50 instead of $80 that we had to pay at another place.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Dan and the staff! They have been great with my dog. Helping her with her itchy skin and then surgery to remove some masses on her. My dog is a senior dog so I was really nervous but Dr Dan assured me she was healthy and would be totally fine. He even found a small mass in another spot and removed it as well! They have always been able to get me in same day if needed. I am just so grateful to everyone there!!

asked for records to be sent to another vet. never arrived. my cat Sony is sick, never saw the x-rays etc. I was charged 800.00 plus for the test. I was told I would receive a " wisdom discount however my last purchase did not include one.

Took our rescue mastiff here. She has some social issues we are working on. I was really worried that the visit would not go well due to her not liking strangers much. Dr Dan and his staff were so patient and kind to her. Even after she growled at him he still fed her treats. He put all my fears at ease and said he was not worried about her getting passed it after time. Absolutely recommend this vet.

I am so happy I was referred to this vet! It's a bit of a drive for me since I live in Eagle but it is completely worth it. All of the staff are friendly and caring. The main reason I came here was for my chihuahua that is having leakage problems and they have been nothing but helpful. We also took our cat in who we were concerned about being too skinny and they we're wonderful with him. The prices are very reasonable and affordable but really it's the care that I received from the staff that keeps me coming back. Highly recommend!

She was amazing on the phone. So kind and courteous! We went right in (1 hr 45 min drive) Dr. Dan is so personable and kind. He explained everything to us. Pros cons etc. We had to go back the next day for a c- section for our dog. He stayed after hours to help us out on a weekend! I can't thank him and his staff enough for everything they did for us! I highly recommend taking your furry babies here.. one of our fur babies got sick and we had no idea what was wrong with her. All we knew is if we didn't get her into the doctor we were going to lose her. So we took her here and they kept her over night they did a lot of testing and thank God.. we found out through her blood work what was wrong.. now she's doing Wonderful and shes gained weight.. she nos has to get a shot once a month and a daily dose of medicine. The doctors and staff here are so Amazing and they really do care about your fur babies...

I went to Dr Dan for veterinary emergency, and I am so glad I did. I drove all the way to Emmett from Boise because he handles emergencies, his reviews were great and because I didn't want to go to West Vet (which I think is an exploitative rip-off, and when a place is motivated by greed I also don't trust them.) He returned my emergency call FAST. He first tried to help me avoid a Sunday emergency visit by asking me to text him a photo of the problem. (Off to a good start!) Seeing the problem, he said I had better bring her right in and he cancelled his personal plans to help us. He had to perform surgery, did an outstanding job & genuinely cared about my pet. (HE IS A GREAT GUY!) Gave me his cell phone to use if I have any concerns. Be prepared for a no-frills utilitarian atmosphere- this is a country vet who treats both pets and farm animals. It wasn't *cheap* but it was very fair and Dr Dan is well worth the drive to Emmett.

I found my sweet mustache with labored breathing tonight, I called the on call phone and left a message about what's going on with my cat. He called me back with in 5 mins and met me at the facility at 9 pm. He is so kind and nice, even though my poor cat only has a 25% of surviving the night, he did all he could to help him. Dr. Dan is an amazing man. I will never go to another vet. He is an amazing man and I will recommend him over bad over.

Dan and Anne made a farm call Memorial Day morning to treat my 20 year old gelding. They were very timely and real professionals; their down to earth attitude and pleasant personalities sure took the edge off the situation without down-playing or minimizing the seriousness of it all. I hope I never need them again but I really take comfort in knowing that they are there if I do. I highly recommend their expert service without hesitation; they bring a great balance of good old-fashioned vet practices together with the modern medicine knowledge of animal care. My poor cat had an enlarged eye due to his mother cat kicking him when she was weaning him off. I called freaking out and worried for him on a Saturday evening and left a message. Within 30minutes later he called back and made an appointment. The surgery went well and my cat is happy and healthy. He recovered quickly and Dr. Dan was supportive through it all.

Dr Dombrowski and his staff are excellent! They've been taking care of our dogs, cats and horses for several years now. Whether we need the vet to come out for a foaling mare, or we bring one of the cats in for treatment, he helps us keep them all healthy. I can count on them to help our housesitter if we're away and he's vailable should we have an emergency- much better than going to Boise to an emergency hospital.

Dr. Dan is the best Vet ever. He was willing to examine my pup Hanna, after business hours, when she was acting sick and I didn't know what was wrong with her. He was kind, compationate, and extremely thorough while trying to figure out what was wrong with her. He did all of this AND put my fears at ease (I was freaking out). He told me I could call him at any time if Hanna's condition changed or got worse. He even called me the next morning to check on Hanna. I couldn't ask for a better Veterinarian.
