Last minute vacation needs. Me and my wife needed a break, so who do we call when in need of Sunshine, Blue Water and Sand. Lisa Whitmarsh at Accent Travel, she takes the time to listen to what our needs are and expectations, and has always come through with great suggestions where to go, how to get there, and best cost for the accommodation. Once again she has held true to that. We recently went to Punta Cana Excellence resort in the Dominican Republic . One week before leaving, Lisa stopped by my work to delivered my tickets to go over all the details of the trip, flight info, baggage limitations, transportation to and from the airport, who to see once we landed and what to expect. Five stars over and over again! Five stars for service, five stars for recommendations, five stars for my travel agent/life saver, Lisa Whitmarsh. I booked my first trip with Lisa a few years back. At the time, I didn't know much about travel agents/travel agency services - I especially didn't think that me, in my early 20s, could afford such a luxury. However, Lisa welcomed me to her office, we had a conversation about goals and budgets and the rest was history. I was originally dreading watching flight prices, trying to find decent/safe accommodations, planning out transportation and a full itinerary. Our first travel experience with Sarah was in 2016. She had planned a two week multi city tour of southern Italy with daily private tours and private transportation. This was the first time in all our years of travel that we could say it was the “Perfect” vacation. Not a single problem or complaint. Every tour guide was exceptional and every driver was pleasant and on time. Since then, we had Sarah plan a similar Italy trip in 2017, again not a single problem or complaint. She has currently planned an upcoming 2019 multi city tour of Sicily, finishing up in Italy with daily private tours and transportation. We also had Sarah book us a couple of caribbean vacations. On one occasion, the airlines was late in taking off so we missed our connecting flight. One call to Sarah and our resort was extended by a day and the airlines flight was changed, both with no additional charges or fees. We are so happy with Sarah, when she was with another travel agency we told her we do business with her and not the agency. She is now with another agency and again we reiterated that we are using “her” services, not the agency. I had an amazing experience using Jill from Accent on Travel in the Rehoboth office. I had never used a travel agent before but was referred to Jill by a friend who had used her services for a recent trip. I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. Jill booked my vacation to Athens and Santorini and took care of everything involved - the flights, the transfers from the airport to the hotels, the hotels, and the excursions. She worked with my travel dates, my budget, and my hopes for the trip. When we met with Jill prior to departure, she provided a print out of all the information we needed and she also checked in by email before the trip. I felt that I was in good hands the entire trip, knowing that Jill was a phone call away if we needed her. Thankfully, we didn't need her assistance during the trip, because everything she planned was seamless and there were no issues at all. Jill even checked in after the trip, to make sure everything went as planned. I would definitely use Accent on Travel again and would definitely refer Jill to anyone planning a vacation.

I love the store in Independence Mall. It's decorated beautifully and in a great central location for New Castle County. Lisa Whitmarsh has been our travel agent (more like a guardian angel) for years and has arranged all our trips throughout Europe. I never worry about details because she does! She arranged a special trip for my niece and me at the end of a school year to include Florence, Rome, and Venice. All our transfers and tickets were in perfect order. My wife and I had the most amazing trip to Northern Italy this Fall: Milan, Bellagio, Verona, and Venice. We cannot thank our travel coordinator, Sarah Crimian, enough. We met with Sarah weeks before the 'idea' of a trip was even real and Sarah helped us to imagine the possibilities of Fall journey through the north. After listening to our likes and dislikes, she began detailing a custom trip that included fantastic hotels and itineraries along with wonderful individual tours.
