What a great sunset swim and cruise! By the end of the trip we wanted Captain Harrison to join our family! He was absolutely wonderful. Swimming, touring the mansions and yachts, picking up pizza and more! Highly recommended!!!!!

Found this place through a Facebook search for a bachelorette party and we are so happy we did! First of all it was a great price compared to other party boat rentals in the area and the price was all inclusive for fuel and captain, which many other options had those as added fees. They supply a cooler and ice and make a stop to buy more alcohol if needed. There was plenty of room for 8 of us, so even a full group of 12 would be comfortable. The island we stopped at had a cute little bar with anything you could want and we got to swim around for a while too. Our captain was Greg and he was awesome! Did whatever we wanted and made sure he gave us good advice on how to space our time. Awesome time and we even considered booking a second trip before we fly back home!

I’d give Staying Afloat Party Boat a 10/10 rating. I used this company to surprise my husband for his bday and had the best experience! Booking the reservation was super easy and the scheduler was helpful and friendly. Captain Greg gave us the best experience ever!!! I’m super thankful he was our Captain. Not only did he add to our party fun by dj’ing and being such good energy he was extremely accommodating, friendly, easy going and helpful! I’d use this company again just to have him as our Captain!

We had a great time! Captain Wayne was incredibly nice and helpful. The communication was great too when I had a few questions. Allie contacted me very quickly. I also did provide a nice tip to show our appreciation. My thoughts: I wish there were more explicit instructions on which boat ramp to meet at. There are several behind the restaurant and we weren't sure which one. From the pictures, I assumed (bad on my part) that we would be getting a boat with a bimini especially since we were the party with 2 kids, but we did not. I wish that was communicated to us prior so that we would have known. The seats really need to be reupholstered. Highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future. Thanks everyone!

We had the best time with TJ!! He made sure we had so much fun. The pick up location was easy to find. The sand bar ares was fun and TJ was great at being our personal photographer the whole time. If we are ever in the Ft Lauderdale area again, we would 10/10 book again!

So we thought we might bail because the weather had been predicted to be cool. Then Captain Damon called me and he told me how this time of the year was one of the best times to go. The sweater weather was great and we had so much fun! Damon pointed out so many places along Tampa Bay. The Christmas lights and decorations were beautiful. The sunset was AMAZING! Update - Floated for my 3rd time and it was a blast yet again! We had captain Sam this time around and he was unreal - he was great at keeping the vibes super easy and fun. He also was like McGyver and had everything we needed! Not to mention he helped teach us a few new dance moves! This was my 2nd time out on a Staying Afloat charter - the first time we had Captain Eric and this most recent time had Captain Greg and both were amazing! The boats are nice and big - plenty of space for when you're on board. Having the two floaties is a huge bonus for when you get to where you're going. The captains are what really set Staying Afloat apart though - they are so accommodating and want to do anything they can to make sure you're having a blast!

Had two unforgettable trips with these guys! Once for a day outing to Beer Can Island, we stopped at a few places in Tampa and then headed out to tiki bar at Beer Can Island. Great music play list and the host kept the party going all day long. Second time was for Mom's Birthday, the evening cruise was beautiful. Tampa lights at night is absolutely incredible on the water.

Amazing Bachelorette Party on our private charter! We used them to get a tour of Tampa Bay and ended up going to private Island with a DJ and Tiki bar. On the way back, we cruised the Riverwalk which was so fun at night. The boat was awesome and Captain Damon was what made the day perfect. We already booked a trip for a birthday party in June. Highly recommend this as a must do in Tampa.

Used this place for a bachelor party trip and it was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better time and spent our day at a private island with a bar. The water was beautiful and there was a ton of stuff to do throughout the day. Captain Damon showed us a great time and I would recommend this to anyone I know!

Had an amazing sunset cruise with my friends on Staying Afloat Party Boat. We all met at Rick's on the River and loaded the boat with our coolers and snacks. The captains name was Damon and he was really cool and explained where he could take us. We opted to hit Armature Works for a drink then proceeded to cruise along the Riverwalk while sipping cocktails. Damon had a great music playlist that we had blaring as we waved to all the people on the Riverwalk. We headed to Beer Can island where we had drinks and then loaded up the boat to catch Sunset after we cruised Davis Island (the houses on the water are $ick). So much fun I would definitely recommend and plan on doing it again real soon.

We booked the party boat at 10 AM on a Saturday, Valentine's weekend, 2020. The captain was awesome! We went to an uninhabited island but weren't able to hang out because of the cold rain. We did walk around for a bit. I can imagine on a sunny day it would be gorgeous. However, we did enjoy the ride there and back thanks to BYOB. It was such a good time that I decided to rent again this July for a bachelorette party. I hope it doesn't rain this time. We plan on spending 2 hours relaxing and enjoying the water,and the next 2 hours bar hoping! I can't wait!!!

Wow this was such an amazing experience! The beginning of the day felt a little nervous because I thought I wasn’t at the right pick up place, but then Captain Sam came to pick us up and the rest was awesome! My friends and I had such a great time going to and from the private island that he took us! Captain Sam was such a gentleman! He helped take photos, guarded our phones, and even helped us get onto the swing at the island! Sam even got us to see dolphins on our way back to Armature works!!! What an amazing experience we had with Captain Damon. It was my friends birthday and we wanted a safe way to get out and enjoy the day without the bars and crowds. We were blown away with such a fun day. Great tunes, great boat, amazing captain and a beautiful tour. We went to a private island and stopped by a few cool places to get drinks. Highly recommend. Had an great time on our boat trip. Booked the boat for a friend’s birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed the evening. We made a few stops along the way and toured the Tampa area. My friends booked a boat with Captain Sam for 4 hours to celebrate my bday! I literally had so much fun. His personality was fun and made sure that we enjoyed ourselves! Also, most of us is deaf so the communication was smooth with him and us to be patient with each other so that was a PLUS! Andrew, Rob, Ross, Savannah and the entire crew at Staying Afloat are true professionals. My husband, friends and I were lucky enough to join them for a fantastic trip out on the water last night. The music, entertainment, light show and drinks had everyone in great spirits; even people passing by were enjoying our party. I’m 5 months pregnant and was concerned about getting seasick, but it was such a smooth ride that I ended up dancing the whole time!! My family of 7 went out for a half day trip and it was a blast. Officer Sam charmed everyone from the 4 year old toddler to the 70 year old grandmother. It was an amazing day on the water and the lunch spot at the sandbar was a great recommendation from our friend Officer Sam. We got to meet the owner who was out on the water with his own group. Captain Damon (at the Tampa location) is friendly and outgoing, professional, and experienced in the boating industry, and genuinely loves life on the water. The boat is clean and comfortable, and the Florida coast is beautiful (especially at sunset!!) I saw real dolphins for the first time in my life, and Captain Damon was able to talk about them and point out other birds and wildlife. The boat I went on has plenty of room for everyone, and cup holders for our drinks 🍹 Would definitely go out again!!!

Staying Afloat Party Boat offers all different length charters with a captain, which is great because you don't have to worry about anything! My friends and I could not stop raving about how much fun we had, how nice the boat was and the extensivity of the tour, we went to Armature Works, Downtown Tampa's Remedy, and even sunset cruised around Davis Island's mega mansions!
