I've done a few paranormal history tours but this one has been the best by far. Mark has put an extensive amount of research into this tour and I was absolutely amazed by the history of the mansion, the church, and of course the brewery. There were a few areas of the brewery basement that made my chest feel heavy and started to make me nauseated. For anyone who is seeking a real life ghost thrill, check this tour out. You definitely won't regret it.

The walking tour of the Lemp House and Lemp Brewery (with some charming unexpected stops) was the BEST. One of our most memorable experiences while in St. Louis. You know when several locals recommend something, you're good and I lost count after 4. Mark was the bees knees <3! Although he should think of hiring Justin to moonlight, was having giggle fits left and right.... Our tour ran over and still I remember thinking I wish It wasn't ending yet. Thanks Mark for all your hard work, it's sure paying off. My only regret, being too shy to ask more questions! Would have liked to know a little bit more about the Lemp Grand Hall etc.

We took our first tour this past Saturday ( 1/21/23 ) at the request of my daughter for her 10th birthday! The tour was great! He kept us interested and intrigued the entire time and we loved learning new history. The pictures that he showed were ( creepy ) but amazing! I would definitely recommend going!

We had an amazing time touring the Lemp Neighborhood. We knew a bit about the Lemp Mansion's history, but Mark was able to give an even more in-depth look into the Lemp Family's past, their issues and why even more deaths occurred in the Mansion than just the family. We also got a great history about the rest of the neighborhood and other hauntings from the area. If you believe in the paranormal, then you are in for a treat as Mark has great examples of pictures taken from his own work and previous tour goers. There is a lot to explore and even more to learn. If you don't believe, then this tour is still a great experience for the rich history lessons alone. This neighborhood has a deep history of grandeur and loss. Going from the very prestigious to the slums and back in a little under 200 years. Because of that the stories presented are fun and exciting to hear about. Also, don't miss the infamous 1-Star story. It is funny, it is educational and most of all it is a good way to spend an hour and a half. I highly recommend this experience.

NOT SCARY - Don't believe any of the comments who say the tours are scary- they are lying! The only thing that haunted me were the mosquitoes. There is free parking along the street, the waiting room is large enough for groups and the restrooms were clean. I went on the "Lost Cemetery" and "Lemp Haunted Neighborhood" tours. Throughout the tours, you can hear music from the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten and (if you go on the right night) there will also be a party at the Lemp Mansion. It's impossible to get scared when you hear the Isley Brothers, "You know you make me wanna shout, kick my heels up and shout, throw my hands up and shout," playing in the background... LOL!! I was also put-off by the tour guide who said another tour guide saw a black cat in the neighborhood and was followed by the cat. I showed him a photo of MY cat on my phone, a black cat who I've been raising for 8 years and who I love like a son. The whole "black cat superstition" is FALSE AND CENTURIES OLD!! It's 2018- get with the program!! We're sending satellites into outer space and people still believe an innocent cat is going to bring them bad luck. A great poet once said, "I pity da fool!" (Mr. T) LOL!! The images (supposedly ghosts) that people caught on their iPhones were only dust particles, bugs flying around, and reflections caused by the street lights.

My wife and I loved the tour Mark was amazing he was super friendly we showed up about a half an hour early to our tour and Mark talked to us the entire time which was super nice and friendly. He really knew his history and is definitely is an expert. His stories were really good and he had a good sense of humor. It was very reasonably priced and it was super easy to buy tickets it was reallynuser friendly. There was a lot of cool stuff in the main office. I would highly recommend and I would definitely tip that man again. Only thing would be parking was a little hard so definitely show up early.

Mark was fantastic! He really knew the history of the brewery and area. Very cool experience! Will definitely do it again. He even tried to accommodate someone who obviously didn’t look at the weather beforehand, though they weren’t very appreciative and rude. Please dress appropriately and not really a tour for children either!

We did the walking tour of the Lemp brewery and we had such a good time. Tour guide was so knowledgeable, loved answering questions and he had a great sense of humor. Beneath the brewery was pretty spooky, and have a quite terrifying background. Honestly, I would do it all again if it meant me and my friends could hang out with the tour guide again. Highly reccomend.

Had a blast on this tour with my buddies. We all really enjoyed hearing about some of the lesser known/creepy history of places and such. One of my buddies really enjoyed visiting the abandon building. Also all the creepy ghost photos really helped with setting a tone. Would highly recommend this tour to other individuals that enjoy either scary stuff or creepy history!

My husband and I did the YWCA hunt and we had a blast! I was wondering how we could possibly fill up 4 hours but each room had its own story to tell and the time flew by. The guides took you around the building and gave some history. They offered some equipment to use and made themselves available without being overbearing. I took what felt like a TON of pictures and didn't think I caught anything. The more I looked, I captured multiple orbs in different rooms. I also caught movement in the mirror in the weight room. We can't wait to do the cave hunt next. 10 out of 10!!

It was my first haunted tour and it was great in the first basement me and my mother got dizzy my mom almost fell I was holding her and mark asked if she wanted a chair and after she said no thank you I felt a small hand try to hold my hand in the white blocks room my chest felt heavy like it was hard to breath like someone was sitting on me while standing . I will definitely go back very informative and I enjoyed it very much next time I'm thinking staying at the mansion. Definitely glad I got to experience this tour and learn so much history

We did the 1.5 hour walking tour of the Lemp mansion neighborhood with Mark and it was awesome in every way. There were bone chilling stories with photo evidence to back it up and lots of interesting history. We enjoyed the basement tour of the Brewery complex as well and can’t wait to participate in more STL Paranormal Research Society events! Highly recommend!!

Skeptic here, but still lived the tour. We got a good look at the inside of the mansion and brewery which I loved. Just wish Mark would have mentioned the name of the guy they suspected of being the package Killer. But overall I definitely recommend the tour and he also does others around the area too! I haven't finished analyzing all my photos. But this video I must share with you. I shot this video in the attic. We where trying to make contact with George I felt as if George may have been avoiding us. As we interred the far back room of the attic I asked "George are you back here" immediately a blue anomaly shoots from left to right and if you listen very closely there's a knock or a clicking sound as it zooms by. I took my girlfriend to this tour about a week ago, to get the Halloween season started. The tour was a lot of fun, not too much walking, but wear comfy shoes. Mark was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interactive, by welcoming questions. The tour was well prepared, he even had poncho's and umbrella's available for everyone. We really enjoyed the tour and will do more. It was a cool way to spend the evening and Mark's knowledge of the paranormal and history made it super interesting. I highly recommend this tour.

We took the 9:30pm tour on a Saturday night. Definitely worth the money for about a little over an hour and a half. Our guide was knowledgeable funny and really kept the tour going, the assistant was great too. Very interesting stories at each stop - the Lemp Building was a great ending. 5 stars for sure!

The true crime stories of this area and what has taken place (recently) in the basements are really creepy. Only ghost tour I’ve ever been on that left me genuinely scared after. So fun!

I had family in town and decided to book a tour for the Lemp haunted neighborhood tour. Dr Mark Farley who gave the tour was highly informative and an excellent speaker. The group total on the tour were 15 participants and you had no issue hearing Dr Farley, since he used a microphone. His storytelling abilities was superb and my family REALLY enjoyed the tour. In fact, they can’t wait to visit St Louis to do another tour. I’m looking forward to using his services again. Highly recommended!!!

We did the haunted walking tour and were very satisfied and impressed. We had researched the areas we would tour but we were surprised by how much more we learned on the tour. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and very patient with our group (we stopped to take A LOT of pictures). He was very friendly and made the tour very enjoyable with numerous personal stories. After the tour, Caleb sent me a video of some evidence he had recorded from our tour (I felt something touch my arm in one of the basements and he had captured a video of it showing an anomaly around me at the time). These are some very good people and I hope we get to interact with them again in the future.

I believe that this experience was one of the best and for 25 dollars a person your not going to beat it! it was a great bonding experience with me and my parents! I would recommend this to anyone in the stl area that wants to know more about the lemp family and their dark past while still having fun talking with one of the best tour guides ive had. I want to take a moment to shout out the main tour guide for this experience, mark, he was extremely nice and right off the bat inviting for everyone. One last little bit if you are going in the winter months be sure to wear some layers you'll be in the cold for a while!

This is a tour I've been on multiple times, and each time is just as fun and informative as the last. Mark and his crew do a great job -- they research, answer questions, they joke around, and enjoy talking with guests. It's always a good time. If you're interested in the historical side of the haunting and background of the area, you'll enjoy this tour. They truly enjoy what they do. I will advise you to wear walking shoes, and bring your curiosity.

Really good tour. We were able to see part of the brewery as well as the mansion. You will learn a lot of history and hear some interesting ghost stories. Highly recommend. Lemp Mansion Tour We later did the Alton YMCA ghost hunt. The staff was great. You get a tour of the building and then can freely roam the building. My family is very new to this. You can borrow equipment from the Paranormal staff. We did some “hunting “ ourselves but really enjoyed sitting with the staff when they did sessions as well.

We were only in town for one night and this looked like a great experience, and it was! This tour was just wonderful. The area is soaked in history and the tour guide Mark was incredible. He knew so much and was able to keep everyone interested and involved as we went stop to stop. The tour started with a short video then we headed outside. The tour was a little over an hour and a half and we got to go into one building, the rest of the stops were outside. The weather held for us right until the end, but we had been provided umbrellas so it wasn't an issue. Mark mentioned that the tour changes a little each year and we will definitely be back next time we are back in town. Thanks for a great experience!

Awesome group! I've taken tours with them a few times while visiting from out of town. The Lemp Mansion is always a great time, and they let you use their custom night vision cameras during the tour! The guides are always super knowledgable and always switching things up so you can repeat a tour but it is still fun! They also have a new office, occult shop, tarot readings, and rotating events each month. So glad they're expanding and offering new tour locations! The outdoor walking tours seem like a great option this summer that will allow some social distancing!

I have had the opportunity to take several walking tours pertaining to the Lemp family. This was by far my favorite so far. A great history of the grounds, business, and family with a little St. Louis history thrown in as well. We did the 9:30 pm walk and it just the right amount of eeriness to place off the suspense that always surrounds the Lemp family. We will be adding this as an annual event.

The gift shop was a small little area in the back that had tons of crystals in all shapes and sizes, very reasonably priced. We can't wait to join in on some of investigations and other tours. It was my very first ghost tour even though I am from st.louis I just never got a chance to go visit but I am glad I did it was a wonderful experience that I would never forget. Dr.Mark Farley our tour guide was very knowledgeable and professional while sharing the history as well.He was engaging with everyone within the group that made it more interesting and answered many questions regarding the paranormal.So I would definitely be back and would recommend it to whomever who just want to explore the paranormal or learn about it's history.

Staff is excellent! Mark really knows his stuff about St. Louis history and is always ready with a great story! I’ve been following these tours since the early days and they have only gotten better! The tour was great. The tour guide definitely knows his stuff and was very informative. I prefer a little more interactive tour where we can go into more haunted places or haunted graveyards. We were able to go into one warehouse at the end of the tour but being able to go into the Lemp mansion would have been way better.

Had an awesome time touring the Lemp Mansion and Brewery! Learned a lot of cool facts and saw some creepy areas. Didn’t capture anything in my photos but when I touched the door to the nursery in the mansion I was overcome immediately by an immense sense of sadness and despair. IF YOU VISIT TO ST LOUIS YOU NEED TO GO HERE! We went on the tour of the outside of the Lemp mansion and the basement of the Lemp factory. Very cool! The place where you meet was a little sketchy at first . Very small sign easy to miss. Also bring a sweater. It gets really cold in the basement. The tour guide was hilarious and makes you feel comfortable. Its very history based and not like a haunted attract. It’s definitely creepy and a lot of energy from spirits . Only disappointment was maybe the gift shop. I wish they had more things like tshirts and magnets . The gift shop mainly consists of crystals, rosary, sage and other spiritual stuff.

I have done Dr. Farley's Lemp neighborhood tour several times and it has so much history, the Lost Cemeteries tour did not disappoint! So much history and he is very knowledgeable of the neighborhood, I hope to see this tour available occasionally in the future it is something everyone will enjoy, highly recommend!!

We took the 7:30 walking tour. Mark was an excellent storyteller and a wealth of information and patient with the scaredy-cats among us. The Lemp basements and history would be fascinating and frightening even without the paranormal aspect, add that in, and we’ll be talking about this experience for a LONG time! Wonderful!

I have been to the Lemp Mansion before, but each time I learn more than I knew before. Getting to go to the Lemp Brewery was a real treat. As someone interested in St Louis history, I got a real experience in going to the basement rooms and tunnels. Both, the Brewery and the Mansion are full of spirits-and I don’t mean the alcoholic kind. If you are the least bit sensitive to the spirit world, you are in for a real experience. My girlfriend told me someone was at the bottom of the ramp in building B2 watching us and when we got to the third floor of the home, someone kept touching her. Believe me, when I say, you’ll get your monies worth taking this tour. And who can tell if you won’t be rubbing elbows with St Louis’ most interesting family, the Lemps.

Convinced my mom to take me on the waking tour for the lemp mansion and many other stops. Mark was amazing! He knew so much and shared lots of information about the topics. He was humorous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Would definitely take the tour again and maybe even stay in the Lemp mansion! Our group consisted of 13 people, not too big not too small. I was in town for a conference so I wanted to check out this tour in my free time. First, they were awesome about rescheduling me when I couldn’t get to them for the first booking I made. I did the cemeteries tour first. The guide was knowledgeable about the area and history and she was super cheerful despite the cold and the drizzle. I’m so sorry I forgot your name even though I chatted with you for a few minutes! The second tour with Tim was the longer of the two and had several stops with some creepy enough looking buildings before he even told you the history of the places and then the paranormal info. He had a lot of info about the history of the neighborhood. It was a fun tour and I’d totally do it again if I come back to the area! Great work!!

If you enjoy history you will enjoy this tour. If you are a skeptic or a believer you will enjoy the tour. Unfortunately parts of the building was unavailable due to renovations, that seem to be no end in sight. I wish this would of been advised of prior to booking. I want to come back when the rest of the building is available. Every one had their own experiences at different times, that could not be explained or debunked. But it seemed every one had a great time. Come for the first experience, you will want to come back for new spaces and new experiences.

First let me say this group of investigators were great, They had plenty of equipment for those that needed it and knew the building and the spirits that were in the different locations. They took us on a quick tour of the place and then we were on our own to investigate. I have been on quite a few of these with different paranormal groups but this one by far the best. We caught some evp's and heard kids with our own hears giggling and singing. My rem pod was going off alot to the questions that we asked and I had my batteries drained twice in my camcorder along with my emf detector. I enjoyed all of the history we were given about each location and the slideshow presented of each person referenced. I was really interested to see photographs taken by other walking tours actually capturing images, shadows and shapes in windows and doorways. Purchased a package for a group of 4 for the Lemp neighborhood walking tour. We had a good time and learned a good deal about this beautiful yet often forgotten corner of our city. Mark was an extremely knowledgeable tour guide and host and you can tell he loves the haunted history of not just this neighborhood but all of the stories and folklore in the region. During this tour we stopped in front of famous landmarks like the Lemp Mansion, Saint Agatha School, a private home which was once the neighborhood hospital for the quarantined people in that neighborhood, and of course the Lemp Brewery. The tour takes you through the start of the economic boom of this region brought along by beer, but you also hear about many more ghosts and hauntings other than the famous Lemp family. We went in mid-March so it was a bit chilly. That kind of added to the spookiness. We were completely comfortable and well bundled up. Mark keeps you moving on the walk so you don't get tired of hearing about any certain place and you don't get too cold! I would absolutely do another one of the tours in the st. Louis area and Alton that this group offers. It's a great and fun experience coupled with a nice dinner of many fine restaurants in the area, including of course Lemp Mansion. Good for a date night or for groups. Our group had people as young as 10 years old on up to 65. I even took a few photos that I am eager to email to the tour guide to see if he can see some ghastly faces in the windows like I can!

We went on the Lemp Neighborhood Walking Tour. I can't remember our guide's name, but he was very knowledgeable of the quirky history-both paranormal and otherwise of the Lemp neighborhood. It was spooky, fun, and educational. The meeting place is a warm and cozy little enclave on Cherokee with lots of crystals for sale and a psychic on deck, just in case you need some guidance. My most ringing endorsement is that it was about a 90 minute walking tour about history and my 3 kids-9,11, and 13-the only kids on the tour, were totally engaged the whole time.

I think part of it was our fault for not doing a later tour. There was a wedding at the Lemp mansion so there was noise and a lot of lights. Our group contained a person with limited mobility. The trek to the first spot was a little to fast for her to keep up and we almost turned back. She says her cart would have done ok except for entering the building. We enjoyed the history. However, when the voice was lowered we had a hard time hearing. I don't think my photos caught anything but that is not your fault either. It was a fun night. Thanks.

While we did not experience any paranormal activity on our particular tour, that did not take away from the experience. I enjoyed all the history/facts/stories that were given for different locations and people. The tour guide was up front about everything. He explained that if the lights did A or B, he was controlling them, etc. For anyone contemplating the tour, even if you're uninterested in paranormal activity (but are a history/information nerd), go for it!

I was worried about the tour being scary but it wasn't at all; there were no jump-scares or set-ups. My wife and I brought our two girls on the tour with us and we all had a blast. Mark gives a lot of history about the area and that gives you more of a idea of the area. No ghosts but demon lights, haha. The lost cemetery tour was great also. To know that schools were built on grave sites is creepy to think about but interesting. A big thank you to Jolynn for giving my wife the names of place to take our kids while we were in St. Louis. They enjoyed the museum and square. My wife and I loved the Soulard market. We attended the “Lost Lemp History” lecture. This was an awesome lecture in an awesome venue! I knew very little about the Lemp family aside from the obvious tales everyone in STL knows (the suicides, the Lavender Lady, etc). We had no idea about some of the details, and I’d never heard about Zeke before! As a visual learner, I was glad at the amount of images presented with the lecture, and would have loved to see more that STLPRS took themselves! Mark was very professional, a wonderful host, and had wonderful anecdotes to accompany certain aspects of the lecture. He easily placated the occasional audience member with an insistence that the “rumor they heard about the Lemp history HAD to be true.” (I suppose this is a skill gained through years of working in the field!) Could not say enough good things about this experience!
