He coordinated private transportation and provided excursions to review ahead of time. Best of all, the perk of a candle light dinner on the beach was the highlight of our trip! Brandon Smith gave us an amazing experience in Costa Rica! My wife and I have not traveled much so we had a lot of (usually ridiculous) questions. We sat down with Travis and he showed us several options for resorts. We wanted a family friendly resort on Spring break for my Daughters Bday. He did a awesome recommendation at the Iberostar Mayan resort. He planned and arranged everything. From the private car at the airport to the excursions we went on. He even warned us don’t talk to to timeshare people at the airport and left details about checking in and what to expect. He walked us through the paperwork for Covid and passports. To date I have used 417 Travel on three occasions to arrange and manage my subsequent trips to Europe. I haven’t used another travel agency for comparison and it's highly unlikely that I would since I’m happy with the superior level of service I continue to receive from 417 Travel. We recently returned from 8 days in Playa del Carmen at the Xcaret Hotel Arte and to say it was beyond not only our expectations, but our dreams would be an understatement. Like most, we were struggling to find a place to go during Covid, but 417 Travel went above and beyond to make our once-in-a-lifetime vacation a reality. Travis, Amity and team worked tirelessly with us through many iterations from Italy and Ireland to finally landing (pardon the pun) in Mexico. It had been several years since either of us had been and our two youngest 15 & 17 years old, had never been. It was important for us to find a place that was going to be not only fun for adults, but teens as well. 417 Travel suggest the Hotel Xcaret Arte a place full of fun, fine dining and wild excursions. All inclusive! One problem, our youngest had to be 16 which he would be in two weeks, but too late for our Christmas vacation. Well, 416 Travel to the rescue! They contacted the director of the hotel who graciously made an exception for us. Vacation here we come! I rarely give reviews as glowing as this one, but the folks at 417 Travel deserve it. We HIGHLY recommend you use them for all of your vacation travel needs.

We wanted to travel to Aruba but during Covid we wanted to be careful. I wanted to keep my business local and not have to be kept on hold for hours if I had questions and speak to an agent thousands of miles away. 417 travel has a very good reputation in Springfield so I reached out to them. Let me first say their reputation is well deserved our agent was Courtney. It was one of the best vacations we have taken! We had to jump through some hoops with Covid testing there and back but it was worth it. I had many question before our trip and while we were out of the country and Courtney answered my questions quickly either by text or email and made sure we got all the necessary information to get there and come home. We also needed a hotel room as we were flying out a 5:30am and she booked that as well. I think the hardest part of my vacation was packing my suit case.

My family and I went to the office to see about an all inclusive vacation in the summer of 2022, and the whole family is going, which is 10 of us. Not only are we now booked for a 5 srar hotel on the beach, we are booked on a charter flight to the country of destination! It was so easy to work with these folks, and they gave us all kinds of information about possible destinations and even more about where we are going than I would have found on my own. I was hesitant to go through a travel agency to book it, as I didn't want to pay another "middle man" for the trip. It turns out, that if I went to the travel company directly, I would pay the same amount and if I were to do all the work myself, it would end up costing me more. The travel companies get volume discounts from the resorts and airlines, then they take care of the travel agency, and the travel agent makes it easier to put it all together, without forgetting parts, as I would end up doing, and I don't have to do all the calls and such! My wife, kids and grandkids are all very excited now, and I didn't have to work everything out. I will be using 417 travel for all my vacations from here on out. I will never go to another timeshare's presentation for the "free gift" again!!!

We went by on a Friday to talk about doing a tropical vacation or a cruise, we were very quickly talked out of a cruise. We were asked how long and how much we wanted to spend as well as activities we were looking to do. We have never used a travel agency for a family vacation before, and I didn't know what to expect. After our wonderful experience with 417 Travel - specifically with Krystyn Badley - we will DEFINITELY be using (and recommending!) this agent and agency in the future. From the first conversation Krystyn and I had back in January to book our family vacation, I felt immediately relieved that we had a travel agent who could find us the best deal (way better than what I was able to find on my own), could offer us quality travel insurance, and who could find out the answers to my many questions, especially in regard to traveling during 2021. There are too many positives to mention about Krystyn, so I'll only highlight a few. First and foremost, she worked with our group of 8 (two families of 4) to get us a deal to a tropical location that was within budget and hit all of our "wants" in an all-inclusive. She went above and beyond to answer our questions, reassure us about the investment of travel insurance, and keep in touch with us about any changes, especially in regard to safety during the pandemic. Because of Covid and a few unexpected resort re-opening challenges, we recently found out through customer reviews and some digging that Krystyn did on our behalf that our originally-planned resort would not be what we had hoped. Krystyn patiently and quickly worked with us to create new options. Because of Krystyn (and the fantastic-ness that is Travel Insurance), we were able to switch our travel plans to an alternative resort/place at our same travel dates. We haven't yet taken our vacation, but we feel confident it will be a wonderful experience. Krystyn also gave us a way to contact her during our vacation in case we run into any problems. This kind of customer-service cannot be beat. When you have limited time to travel and spend so much money on that travel, you definitely want it to be a good experience. Going through a travel agency for this vacation has already proven to be our best decision. This review is not about our vacation specifically because we have not yet travelled, but I wanted to give a huge shout-out to Krystyn for working so hard for our family to plan this vacation.

We just recently arrived back from our trip and destination wedding at Now Jade in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Mexico was wonderful! We had such a great, great time. I have only wonderful things to say about the resort. The staff truly make it an incredible experience. It was big enough to have different restaurants and things to do, but small enough to not be overwhelmed and have it be too crazy with the amount of guests. I will always upgrade to the preferred club from here on out. Having the extra pool and beach area made such a huge difference, and I think made it much more of a relaxing experience for the week. The food was great and had a pretty good selection of different types of restaurants and bars for everyone. After this trip, we have decided that we will be making these trips an annual thing. I also just want to say thank you so much to Travis and Chris! You guys helped so much to make the experience so wonderful for us. We would not have been able to plan the trip and wedding as smoothly with the number of people attending if it wasn't for all of your help and expertise. The resort was great. The flights were so easy, and the shuttle service via Apple to and from the resort was super convenient and easy to find at the airport. All Apple staff in Mexico were such a pleasure to get to know.

Great experience. Travis has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I travel often for work and had some complicated travel requirements and had to make last minute changes to my dates. I extended my hotel stay and of course the resort was sold out. Myself and my family missed a connecting flight out of DFW, American Airlines told me they could get us to our destination in 3 days or would refund our tickets and send us back home, I agreed to the refund, and they sent us back home. I bought new tickets on another airline and vacation went great. After we got back from vac, I contacted Travis about our refund, which he had been dealing with for over 30 days, he told me that AA gave us travel vouchers, and he mentioned that it wasn't right, and he was still working on it. We did not have to wear masks while on resort, but during our excursions we did in certain circumstances. Most of the time, once we were out on the boat or in the restaurants, we were able to take them off. Lots of temperature taking, hand sanitizing, and feeling comfortable that everyone was safe. They fumigated all the beach chairs and even our luggage when we arrived. The people there were SO HAPPY to see us. The tours were fabulous because of the limitation on how many people could go. It was hands-down, the BEST vacation we have been on!

Our honeymoon was amazing! Couples swept away in Negril Jamaica was a beautiful resort. A lot of vendors on the beach trying to sell things to you constantly including drugs which We did not like. We could not walk the beach at night without getting harassed to buy drugs from them. It was irritating. But 417 travel agency made our honeymoon decision easy! Great service. We had Brandon! He did every thing great. the only thing we did not get upon arrival at couples is our champagne, “honeymoon gift” such as fruits or chocolates and flowers. Dinner on the beach wasn’t included like we thought either.. We purchased the honeymoon package which was supposed to include that all. The resort did not want to give us anything. We finally got our champagne on the 3rd day of being there. We wish we wouldn’t have paid the extra for the package because we got the champagne which was included in the “all inclusive resort” anyway! Another couple staying said that they received cupcakes with “Happy anniversary” on it! Which would have been a great welcome gift. My husband paid extra for the honeymoon package but all we got was a 25 minute massage and after hounding the front desk a bottle of champagne. So we were confused at what we actually paid the extra for, because th package didn’t have everything we thought. And we were told there were several resorts we could walk to and use but the staff told us no. Two other couples thought the same, so I am assuming the Jamaica staff was unaware? Or just told us no. Lol We could have used couples Negril but was a bus ride down the beach and would have to pay a $20 fee to get there they told us. We were disappointed to be expecting so much and then being told at the resort that the things we were hoping for didn’t come included. Just the massage was. Night snorkeling was the best part of the trip! Super cool experience, held an octopus and puffer fish and saw a sea turtle and sting wrays. Tour guides were so great! Bartenders were fun! But staff at front desk were very unhelpful. We would love to go back but without paying extra for beach front because it’s not actual beach front just trees and a hot tub, and some sand, also without a “Honeymoon package” because that part was a waste of money. We will probably try sandals the next time that we go! But very thankful for Brandon’s communication and help with the planning process!

Incredible service! My eyes were opened to things I thought didnt exist! Business class out of our somewhat small airport exists! Aside from that, our trip to Cancun could not have gone any better. I have never done this before.i have always wanted to do something special for my wife.i have driven past 417 travel a lot taking my wife to work.i finally got the courage to stop in.i was very nervous, because I thought I'm just wasting time.i was greeted by Deanna. She asked me how she could help me.i told her that we have been married for 36 yrs and could never afford a cruise.never been on a honeymoon,or a real vacation,and I wanted to do something special for her.she has survived 2 different types of cancer, and if something happened to her ,I wouldn't be able to live with myself. She is my love my life my world.i told Deanna even if my wife had to sleep in the engine room,as long as she got to go.deanna looked at all possibilities ,and found one for me.i couldn't believe it.i didn't know what to think.i have been saving my tips and had enough to put a deposit down and Deanna told me I could make payments.she asked me if I was going to,and I told her I couldn't go because we have 2 dogs,and I needed to work.deanna offered to watch my dogs. How awesome is this. I told Deanna that it's about my wife not about me.the look on my wife's face, was like the most beautiful sunset you could imagine,and Deanna made that happen.she is also providing a wheelchair for her to get on board and off.deanna thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me give my wife a dream come true.and I will have this payed by november,lol.cant ty enough deanna.if everyone is like Deanna at 417 travel,God bless you all.and to the owner,you have quite the staff.you should be proud,and treat them well.
